Adult film actress who got her start in Behind the Green Door, a landmark film produced by the Mitchell Brothers and co-starring porn legend John Holmes.
Did some commercial work before her career in the adult film industry. Marilyn Briggs appeared in television spots for Pepsi-Cola, and a (now infamous) Ivory Snow box holding a baby. Arrested for prostitution in February 1985 at the O'Farrell Theater in San Francisco. "I don't take tips, so how could I be soliciting?" On July 28, 1999, Marilyn made her triumphant return to the O'Farrell Theater in San Francisco. Mayor Willie Brown proclaimed it "Marilyn Chambers Day."
