Description
If a telepath, a clairvoyant, a vice detective, a ninja with super reflexes, a spirit medium, an oil magnate, an extremely lucky boy, and an extremely strong man were to fight it out in a rock-paper-scissors tournament, who would you bet your money on? Just because it's a simple game with simple rules doesn't mean the matches will be simple. Mind games, cheat abilities, interesting characters, great humor, this manga has it all!

It's hilarious, it's unpredictable, and it's stupid. Perfect 10 for a short gag.
Even when read it again, I still amazed.

I concur with MondSemmel, this is great storytelling. The only reason I'm rating it an 8 instead of a 10 is that I think that masterpieces (9s and 10s) should have indisputable reread value. Otherwise, this series takes all that is great about tournament arcs and delivers it in single, perfectly paced volume.
Perfect.

Tournament arcs in long-running shounen stories are pretty hit-and-miss. In contrast, this mangaka made the bold move of writing a story just about a tournament. And this move paid off.
The story is full of interesting characters, mind games, and unexpected occurrences. Because winners participate in multiple rounds (in the quarter-finals, semi-finals, and possibly the finals), their opponents can learn from their fights and adapt their strategies accordingly. And brilliantly, even those characters that lose the tournament have important roles to play afterwards.
This is a triumph of shounen storytelling, with great pacing, a well-rounded story arc, and even a proper conclusion and epilogue.

Manga is very well thought out!
Despite the absurdity of some of the characters, the story, develpment and scheming is very good!
It's a bit of a hidden gem, but defs give it a try!
