"Instant body transformation - 30 seconds on a 4090. Guaranteed results."

[–]rawker86 54 points55 points  (17 children)

More like 3 seconds.

[–]hoja_nasredin 11 points12 points  (13 children)

And here i am with a laptop 4060 taking 10 minutes to generate. 10 minutes After the model is loaded

[–]Furranky 4 points5 points  (1 child)

wtf, why such a long time?

[–]samhaswon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Probably the amount of VRAM combined with settings and model type. Theoretically, it should be able to do 1-2 minutes with SD 1.5 at 1024x768 with some extras including upscaling. At least that's what I get with a similar performing card.

[–]TheMechanic7777 1 point2 points  (0 children)

1660 laptop i gotchu

[–]rawker86 1 point2 points  (4 children)

I was getting pretty slow results in XL with my 4070 til I did a search and found some command line arguments that worked for me, I’ll see if I can dig them up. They were completely different to what I’d been using previously and with different cards.

[–]hoja_nasredin 2 points3 points  (1 child)

wow. pls do

would be amazing. i havent played with configs yet

[–]rawker86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m assuming you’re using Auto1111? I copied this guy’s arguments and got a decent reduction in iteration times. I’ve got a full-size 4070, so ymmv.

[–]AmericanKamikaze 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What was the trick? Thanks

[–]rawker86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just replied to the other guy with a link to the comment I found.

[–]nymical23 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Are you sure everything is updated? Including torch?
I'm asking because I came across a guy with similar problem, as he just didn't update anything in many many months.

[–]hoja_nasredin 0 points1 point  (1 child)

i have not update torch in forever

[–]nymical23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Okay, then please do it, and update us about the effect.

[–]HagenKemal -1 points0 points  (0 children)

3050ti laptop 4gb sdxl 1024x1024 base model 17step 90sec on. I get 120sec for 4step flux schnell on comfy. Check your startup parametrs you need --lowvram enabled in the bat file.

[–]AlgernonIlfracombe 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Possible side effects may include: growth of additional fingers/limbs, clothes colours blurring together, people around you resembling your appearance, body appearing from different angles simultaneously, non-Euclidian physiology...

[–]dendnoy 10 points11 points  (1 child)

That old saying "pic or it didn't happen" didn't age too well

How do they not notice? If I was trying to pass off a generation as a real image if spend ages inpainting

[–]matt17jaga[S] 114 points115 points  (17 children)

Tbh boomers won’t notice. Idk if you’ve seen the state of Facebook nowadays, it’s full of way way worse AI images which boomers think are real. Although a bunch of those boomers might be bots too.

[–]e430doug 38 points39 points  (2 children)

It isn’t just boomers. There are uninformed people across all ages. Do you think this ad is targeted at 70 year olds?

[–]omni_shaNker 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Exactly. What a stupid idea that this is for "boomers" which isn't even relevant to their generation anymore.

[–]xelop 25 points26 points  (9 children)

I presume everyone online I've not personally met or is tv/movie famous is a bot. This includes you tbh lol

[–]Zugzwangier 14 points15 points  (2 children)

Yup. Am bot, can confirm.

You're probably a bot, too.

You just haven't realized it yet.

[–]Utoko 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Just had to restart XelopBot yesterday because he had a functional crisis when he figured it out. Please don't mess with other bots.

[–]BavarianBarbarian_ 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Everybody on Reddit is a bot except for you.

[–]Hopless_LoRA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank god. I was worried there for a minute.

[–]civilitty 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You clearly are.

[–]homogenousmoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats what a bot would say.

[–]being-and-nothing 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Good bot

[–]WhyNotCollegeBoard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you sure about that? Because I am 99.99997% sure that xelop is not a bot.

Oh god farmer girl!! with 2 heads and 3 arms just looking for a nice older man, and thousands of likes and comments say "hey you're pretty" and not even ironically.😱 As a melenial I feel I need to keep a toe in Facebook, well that an for my vr account. And honestly it feels like donning a wet suit and diving into a cesspit whenever I open it up.

[–]Arumin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a great idea!

[–]BlueIsRetarded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've seen! I assume personal trainer customers are in their 20s-40s though.

Also if I was trying to basically commit fraud with AI, I'd cover my tracks.

Trolling boomers is far less important than what is probably these people's livelihoods.

[–]geologean 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are Boomers generally in the market for fitness transformations?

[–]wkw3 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Scam emails often have obvious intentional spelling and grammatical errors to ensure only the most gullible people will respond. I have to think that some obvious image generation errors help find easier marks in the same way.

[–]BlueIsRetarded 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ohhh! I knew about the spelling mistakes but I never thought about it happening with ai images. That a smart take.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (1 child)

only people using ai allot and artists who analyse minute details of images can see the differences. your 60 yo man browsing insta on his way to his office job isn't going to know to check if the chin has that dimple chin, or to zoom really far in to see if the person has skin pours, or check the hands to see if they look like they are made only of bones coloured like skin. This stuff just isn't on their radar, It's why the world goes crazy when grock generated mildly nsfw images even though local models can do full nsfw.

[–]homogenousmoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree humans are harder. Especially since good old photoshop is often used to morph humans so much that you wouldnt recognize them in real life. You can just wave away skin that is too smooth as too much photoshop.

I mean if there’s no obvious tells like too many fingers, extra limbs etc which is in an hilarious amount of photos on FB and people still share/like them.

[–]LinceDorado 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Because "they" most likely don't even know that AI image generation exists. Especially not how sophisticated it is. That's one of the reason why I actually pulled my parents aside and took an hour to show them what AI can do, so they would become more wary of it in the future. They were both absolutely shocked, understandably so.

[–]BlueIsRetarded 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good man. I might so the same with my grandma, my mum is already educated about it.

[–]FantasyFrikadel 4 points5 points  (4 children)

They’re not looking at the phone when massaging the sausage.

[–]BlueIsRetarded 0 points1 point  (3 children)

I mean... I noticed.

[–]FantasyFrikadel 1 point2 points  (2 children)

You are in an AI image generation forum.

[–]BlueIsRetarded 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I was also massaging my sausage tho

[–]FantasyFrikadel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn you Sexy U-net.

[–]Ill_Yam_9994 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've heard scammers intentionally make their scams kind of dumb so smart people don't fall for them. There are enough dumb people out there that they prefer to just avoid unwanted scrutiny/reprisal/reporting from smart people.

[–]Cheetahs_never_win 2 points3 points  (0 children)

1, they're not scrutinizing fine details, 2, everybody's accustomed to (bad) photoshop jobs, anyways.

[–]nstern2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I posted some AI fetish thirst traps on instagram and had dudes sending me creepy dms within hours and I specifically said in the bio that all images were some form of AI generated. My thought is that so much stuff has beauty filters on it that most people have normalized the AI look.

[–]Spra991 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Smartphones cameras apply so much AI beauty filter to real photos that the line between real and AI generated starts to get a little blurry.

[–]ExpensivePractice164 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Lol didn't even bother to ps it

[–]TheSlackOne 13 points14 points  (0 children)

"Personal trainers hate this trick"

[–]ManWithTheGoldenD 8 points9 points  (1 child)

I urge people to send this to John Dorsey on instagram, he routinely does exposes of this type of shit and he will happily run with this story.

[–]matt17jaga[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good idea, I sent a dm request with this post

[–]imnotabot303 12 points13 points  (2 children)

This has been happening for years by using Photoshop before AI was a thing. AI has just made it easier for people with zero skill.

People who spend half their life on social media already live in a fake reality anyway though. That's why the majority of people creating images of girls all end up making them look like IG girls and not real people.

[–]uristmcderp 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It's a different variety of fake, though. Photoshop would leave some obvious signs of tampering, like doorways curving behind the person. With AI the fake image can look just as legit as an original, but when you look at something like the width of the hip bones you can tell they don't match.

[–]imnotabot303 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes if people were bad at image editing then they ended up with things like that. That's kind of my point though, Photoshoping something well took a bit of time and skill and if they messed up even a layman could tell. Now just about anyone can make something that's going to look convincing to a lot of people.

[–]dynoman7 2 points3 points  (1 child)

The freckles, they moved.

[–]Hopless_LoRA 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That a, happens, when you exercise vigorously enough.

[–]AbdelMuhaymin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's hard getting clients nowadays. Brudda needed to rely on Flux

[–]NomadFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I was just scrolling down my instagram I might not have notice. But man that glossy skin and those phones just seem so obvious to me. Do not know how you do not notice that while commenting.

[–]Katana_sized_banana 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Just sell me a mirror already, that's just a screen with a camera, with instant stable diffusion illusion displayed.

[–]jib_reddit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Someone has make a photo booth that does this for events and Weddings.

[–]No-Efficiency8750 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are iPhones the new hands?

Last time I checked AI was barely able to draw hands. Things really go fast.

[–]dal_mac[🍰] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've spent 2 years brainstorming all the different unique ways I can make money from my expertise in custom face training & inference.

Not once did I think of this. It's so obvious. And I could do it way better. I've made fitness images of people but only for their motivation. Unfortunately this falls into the dishonesty category like many other ideas, and would assist scammers which is unthinkable. Why are most of my options so shady. If I didn't have morals I'd have a lot more money.

[–]Domspun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the eyes of the last girl. lol

[–]MainHaze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao! The knees on pic #4 looking like Kuato.

[–]bronkula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lol. zooming in on the fingers when none of the lines match up.

[–]cryptosupercar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh it was inevitable.

[–]SykenZy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Clearly following like 1 year behind :) Flux can do those very much like real life

[–]totallymyreal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This has just begun

[–]AdTotal4035 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol this is ridiculous.

[–]Brownguysreading 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oddly terrifying

Mais c'est qu'alex est un petit trublion

[–]Xerio_the_Herio 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those are fake phones that don't exist. Android camera lenses...

[–]mister_k1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

its bizness bratha

[–]DaySee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Least scammy fitness coach lol

[–]PreparationOver2310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks like phones are the new hands

[–]teryret 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Too bad there's not one where a guy starts out in decent shape but ends up a literal gorilla

[–]rudthedud 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those extra thumbs on the first picture are crazy

[–]Audiomatic_App 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In a few years we won't even be able to spot the artifacts.

[–]Exc0re 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hacked Facebook accounts are also posting this kind of sht...

[–]AnotsuKagehisa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can tell from those rib cages every time

[–]jib_reddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, he is training SD 1 face girl.

[–]roadmasterflexer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmao

[–]BlastedRemnants 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Might as well get used to this sort of thing, it's only going to become more and more common. Been telling my friends and family for the last couple years that they can't trust pictures anymore and that video is very close behind. They aren't listening yet but I did make my kid some funny pics with Flux that just about blew her mind, and that was just with Reactor, which isn't even very convincing most of the time.

[–]notsimpleorcomplex 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My understanding is, faking fitness transformation pics has been a thing long before AI. But I could be wrong. Not that it makes it any better, but it doesn't surprise me.

[–]Which-Roof-3985 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone with a functioning brain should be able to see how fake these are.

[–]pkhtjim 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh and here I thought people were transforming into fantasy creatures. So disappointed.

[–]bindermichi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just report the accounts as scam and block them. Best way to ignore those idiots

[–]SlapAndFinger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fake it until you make it

[–]AhsenMirza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hate the half assed attempt at making ai images. That's why I've started to hate these accounts. Because these accounts exist in the thousands. On one hand you have thousands of these accounts and on the other, you have doobieroobie

    who... exactly... is downvoting this...?

    [–]homogenousmoss 0 points1 point  (2 children)

What? First time I heard x labs was viewed negatively? I use their stuff.

    [–]SandCheezy[M] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Same. I keep seeing comments saying there is hate on xlabs. However, I haven’t seen a single comment hating on xlabs.

    [–]Pretend_Potential 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's not exactly hate, but people aren't happy with the ipadapter release. FoFr posted on twitter that it wasn't' good, and there's been some discussion about it on Matteo's discord.

    [–]roastedantlers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one should trust images of anything, and all videos should be suspect. Don't need AI for that to be always in your mind.

    [–]ImNotARobotFOSHO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you report this account? Low effort cash grabs deserve consequences.

    [–]BrethrenDothThyEven -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Honestly, I get it. Unethical as hell. But easy income. ChatGPT with preferences to reply as a fitbess coach, create workouts and mealplans etc. With some clever API usage, 100% passive income.
