ChatGPT was launched last year on the 3rd day of NeurIPS, the top AI conference. I remember people were intrigued, but none of us truly gets what’s coming next. The most impressive demo I found was a Linux console simulator. In retrospect, that was the first glimpse of LLM as an operating system and a primitive world model. What will happen at NeurIPS this year?

Microsoft (or FANG) will reveal that their workforce consented to screen recording a 3 years ago. All hooks to Windows UI calls as well as cursor / keyboard have been recorded and used to train a generic white-collar AI
