I haven't seen any public stats, but have talked to dozens of companies in this space (including many of the biggest ones!) and consistently hear this. It's rare to hear <70% female for chat products...

It's true. I wrote bespoke MLP fanfiction and 85% of my business came from women looking for yaoi Big Mac and Cheese Sandwich or yaoi Big Mac and Shining Armor or yaoi Big Mac and cloned Big Mac. Big Mac and Spike cost more. Wasn't fond of writing shotacon but money talks.
