Look at the way that ChatGPT crafts this poem -- given a very real scenario faced by parents the world over. The way it blends the domain of parenting with the linux terminal domain is a precocious feat of analogy-making, is it not @MelMitchell1 @davidchalmers42 ?

I am not a LLM fanboy but I can't describe what I'm seeing any other way. Curious to know your thoughts!
Indeed, it's clever! But the prompt did ask for a linux code block to be included in the poem. If that hadn't been explicitly asked for, I'd have been more blown away. Also, seems like "sudo apt-get install [food item]" is a thing on the internet. E.g. spreadshirt.co.uk/shop/desig…)
That's interesting, I didn't know about the thing on the internet But, that said, isnt that basically what bad poets, or eg tabloid newspaper headline writers, do? Merging a known meme into a situation where it's impactful to do so It's at the level of popular entertainment
It's ability to relate concepts is crazy good. Used it to request examples of using certain math concepts in business. Then asked it show me how a certain math topic works within another.
sudo apt-get install chicken-nuggets 😂😂
Looks like there’s a big correlation with training data. Over 90% is English, so when asked to composed a 7-characters per phrase poem in style of famous poet Li Bai, it created something wrong: only 3 out of 8 lines have 7 characters…
Chicken nuggets doesn’t rhyme

A bit. But it's the analogy with Linux, not the adoption of the poetic style, that really impressed me
