I made an AI clock for my bookshelves! It composes a new poem every minute using ChatGPT and mysteriously has this enthusiastic vibe which I am totally into instagram.com/p/Cp44-AMNyd9/

Hand on heart I did not include this kind of motivational positivity in the prompt! I did describe the room from its pov, so it sometimes refers to books or the rug, or its own self as a small e-ink screen Tbh I can’t look away. I need to get lunch but it’s compelling & magical

Is this an Inky Frame? I have my finger hovering over the buy button and this is going to tip it

Super awesome! I'm hovering above the buy me button for the inky frame as well now //ht @mappletons 😂 Are you using GPT-4 for this? Or is this turbo?
Turbo cos it's cheaper -- I'd prefer to use GPT-3 tbh. If I were an AI sommelier I'd say that ChatGPT is an easier drink, very smooth, vs GPT-3 which is spicy. It has a better vocab, its words fizz. But not quite worth 10x the cost for something sitting on my bookshelves :)

This is great, but I also find the idea of something incurring cloud costs every minute to display the time pretty hilarious.
And let’s not even get into the infrastructure behind it. But kinda if you think about it isn’t everything resting on the cumulative infrastructure of all of human history? /waves hands vaguely
