Need to curate the training samples better but good old stylegan 1 only takes about 24 hours to get good results.

So good! What was the training sample you used? I may have a few I can share, I was working on a similar training set but struggled with finding enough images.

This website is a fantastic resource of images ukiyo-e.org/ I've been using aws rekognition for detecting faces which surprisingly works about 50% of the time. I have about 5000 faces but some are incorrect or too low resolution.

These are some random sample generated by the GAN. I've got a training set of around 5000 Ukiyo-e faces. I do transfer learning from @gwern's anime faces model I so don't need too many samples.
