𝔊𝔴𝔢𝔯𝔫@gwernFeb 7D.K. Simonton did a lot of work on this. There are field-specific age patterns but mostly, the 'equal-odds rule': probability of contribution is constant, and what matters is how many attempts you make. Quantity follows rough quadratic. Moving to adjacent fields helps replenish.
