hey there. i'm a noob from aus and hoping 2 get some confirmation i'm on the right track? i'm not a kid and due 2 my family situation cant afford 2 mess this up. not new 2 the scene but am 2 the technology. i've been doing lots of reading & research & while lots of the info makes sense lots also doesn't. i have an account on SR but haven't opened a bitcoin account or setup PGP as yet. most info states as an aus user MtGox is the most accessible exchange - is this right? secondly, at the risk of sounding stupid i'm guessing the PGP component is still required even after being properly configured 2 use Tor? any response will be appreciated but would love 2 hear from a somewhat sensible aus user( buyer or seller ),
cheers

Hey wotda, the pgp part is simple really. Download Kleopatra (gpg4win), install it. Follow this instruction I have uploaded to a picture.

As for your bitcoin, I use Multibit. Since its a client wallet it is easier and safer I would think, than having a website wallet. I would use Localbitcoins and have no experience with others like MT GOX, .. Once you get your bitcoins in your wallet, send them to your SR wallet (it will take some time yes), there is a fee of 0.0005 for every transaction, so make sure you get a little more btc than precise amounts.
Be safe, keep reading and lurking, and hope others can contribute. :)
good day
