Now, I know there is already a thread about Illy here but I do have a few questions and I figured a new thread could get a little more attention and I'm pretty nervous right now.
I was one of his/her customers who ordered right before Illy disappeared. Now, I have multiple successful transactions here. Illy's is the only one who supposedly shipped but did not make it to its destination. The entire reason I'm writing this post is this:
A few minutes ago I was sitting outside smoking a cigarette and noticed a man walking down the street trailing his dog. I didn't think anything of this initially, until I noticed he was a man in full uniform, and the dog was a large German Shepard. I finished up my cigarette, went inside, and looked out front and noticed a K-9 unit vehicle and saw another cop's motorcycle parked next door but there was no officer on it, and he was nowhere to be seen. Scoping out my house for exits maybe? Ordinarily I wouldn't be so paranoid but I'm slightly nervous seeing as how my neighborhood is pretty much the suburbs where there is little crime and unusual activity. Seeing a drug dog is pretty unusual in this neighborhood. I don't think I've seen one in my 10+ years living here.
My question is: If Illy did indeed send me a package, and it was intercepted by the police what should I expect to happen? Controlled delivery? Or are they going to lock me up for buying 1 stamp bag of H? Perhaps nothing will happen at all? I have no drugs nor paraphernalia in my home.
If it's a controlled delivery and I refuse the package, will they still arrest me or seize my computer? What if they don't ask me to sign a package, and it comes anyway. What do I do with the package to ensure I don't get brought in?
Also, if Illy did happen to get arrested and his/her PC got seized and addresses were found on their PC, should I expect my mail to be watched? Perhaps I should stay away from Silk Road in general after this.

I'd sure bet a whole bunch of btc you're safe man! :) I know it's easy to get paranoid, but just because someone has your address on a piece of paper doesn't mean anything...and cops with dogs? Over what. Making the connection between somebody *maybe* having your address on a piece of paper, and some kind of serious drug bust is quite a leap. And remember: illy actually came through for several people, and that doesn't sound like LE to me...but, u know, if worst comes to worst, shit, you don't know anything about it, and since you're one of the ones who didnt get anything, I wouldn't worry about it...I mean, keep us posted and all, but I"m figuring you are safe bro! :) We should always be cautious, and of course, if you ever do get questioned, you don't know nothin' ...best policy...

The cops wouldn't be staking out your house with officers in uniform would be a slight tip-off. 2nd, if you have to sign for a package from here, and you know it's from here, I wouldn't sign for it (unless it was specifically discussed between you and the vendor) at all. For a CD to work properly they have to get you signing for the package, then they wait until they think you have opened the package so they can raid you.
Having an officer in uniform with a dog going around your street would be the biggest giveaway ever and I can't imagine anybody but keystone cops doing something like that.

Yeah, if the cops were really staking out your place they would do it in a way that didn't alert you to their presence, i.e. using covert methods that you would not notice, i.e. not having a K-9 unit blatantly parked in your neighbors driveway.
It's easy to get paranoid in a situation such as the one you're in, but I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Sure, it's possible that they got your address off of Illy's pc. It's possible that your name might be on a secret list somewhere. It's possible that now every time the post office receives a package addressed to you that package is flagged and examined. It's possible that one day, out of the blue, the feds might show up on your doorstep to take you away.
I've thought about all these things too in relation to myself. The conclusion that I came to is that it is all possible, but highly unlikely. So if I were you I wouldn't worry too much about it. And I don't think you should stay away from Silk Road because of this.

Strange as it may sound: if you are really seeing a K-9 unit that close to you, and other uniformed officers, you may well be watching *someone else* being set up for a controlled delivery or a raid.
One stamp bag? I'm 99.99999999% sure illy didn't send it to you. But if she did, they wouldn't come to see you about that. Not unless you live in a really small town where a single stamp bag of H is a newsworthy event for the local channels. OR you are a serial killer. Serial killer plus one stamp bag does put you over the edge for a full-on raid. ;)
Otherwise, grab a beer and take a walk around the neighborhood. Somebody is about to get busted. Or....they're just going to do a demonstration for some little kids with the dog. hehe...go anyway. Little kids reactions to drug dogs are pretty good clean fun anyhoo! 8)
