This may not be a typical post in the security forum, but I hope someone will advise me well.
I'm trying to create an identity card with a small reflective silver snowflake logo.
I don't need a hologram, just a reflective silver logo. I think that shiny nail polish may even be good enough. I suspect there is a better solution.
Please, can anyone offer me advise???

Look up masterminds on youtube how currency counterfeiters in UK faked holograms, threaded shiny silver-like strips, and other emblems. Often the simplest solution like nail polish actually works. Can also sign up to infraud.su or pay Wave to tell yo how he does it, he used to sell an entire ID making kit with instructions

Thank you. I'm going to look through that youtube lead and the website you suggested. I'll post more about my project when I make it past this challenge.[]
If anyone has specific advice for how to make a silver (reflective) icon, please speak up! I've been buried in projects and my mind feels a little dry. I have already taken care of the rest of the card features, and am about ready to launch.
Again, the icon is not a hologram. Its just a shiny silver snowflake. (Nail polish and well made stencil are probably the way to go)

1. Print logo of a transparency sheet at a 20% opacity
2. Dust with silver "pearlex" metallic powder
3. Spray with canned air to remove remaining powder
4. Place lamination over the transparency containing the new metallic image
5. Run through laminator on lowest heat possible, peel, tada.

United Anabolics is right about the 'pearlex', it creates a reflective surface that changes from reflective to dull depending on the viewing angle. Hope that's the sort of thing your after.
If it's just straight reflective, regardless of angle, try the $2 type discount stores for kids stickers, they are often reflective, just cut your shape out of that.
