Curious to see if the demands here to sell Bitcoins over SR for Aussies and what ppl think of the idea.
If you click no in the poll please expand your answer in a post.
If you answered yes is their a specific way you would want to pay in order to receive the Bitcoins?

Always a possibility mate just looking into payment systems where the buyer and seller have security which i think is the most important part of this type of business.

Really the only reason I'd be interested in another Aussie bitcoin vendor is to get a better exchange rate. SpendBitcoins service has been flawless in my experience, it's just unfortunately quite expensive compared to bigger exchanges. Fair enough too.

Correct me if im wrong but wouldn't law enforcement be able to see what bank the bank transfer was made from via bsb and then just request video footage as i would imagine there would also be a time and date that was recorded when the transfer was made narrowing down the search by a great deal add in fingerprints that were left on the deposit slip and that's far from anonymous.

Buying bitcoins isn't illegal, if you are safely dealing with the coins after receiving from SB, LE theoretically have nothing against you.

True but the cops aren't going to start investigating you because you bought bitcoins if anything they'd catch on in another way and then being able to prove you bought bitcoins would simply be able to add that to what ever proof they already had, it'd be interesting to know what process ppl are going through in order to ensure the coins are hard to track though if any.

No. SpendBitCoins doesn't allow bank transfer. You have to go into a branch and make a cash deposit. If you transfer from a bank account they will just reverse the transfer and cancel your bitcoin purchase order. They previously only accepted deposits at an NAB (I think? Or was it CBA?) branch, but they've had multiple different bank accounts you can deposit into for a while now so convenient, secure and reliable = hard to beat, hence why I said the only reason I'd be interested in another bitcoin vendor is if they had a significantly better exchange rate.
