Title: Does LE waste its time doing controlled deliveries on very small pill quantities
Post by: serotonin on September 09, 2011, 04:06 am
If I were to order 1-10 pills, would LE just send me a love letter or is it possible for them to do a controlled delivery? Any experiences/stories you've heard?

first and foremost that would depend on the country you're in and their "stance" on it. If anything, it certainly gives them probable cause to rampage through your shit on a fishing expedition in search for more. Further, particularly in the US they would certainly pop you just to see how far you can be bent. It might not be worth it for a pill or two, but it's certainly worth it with regard to their snitch recruiting scheme.

As said, it depends on where you are, but if they get a hold of your shit more than likely they won't just discard it saying "meh, not worth it"...

I think half of the convictions in the US wouldn't happen if people just kept their mouth shut. If LE puts you on the chair working you up and down all it means is that they ain't got squat and are trying make you break under fear. Shut up, lawyer up and you'll most likely walk...

This can't be stressed enough. Everything you say, EVERYTHING, can do you in. Talking about the weather can do you in. It's how they roll, even the most casual question is usually designed to create some contradictions that will later down the road undermine your credibility in court. Heck, I knew a guy once who was asked if he was thirsty and his bland answer "yes" turned into "typical drug user dry-mouth" which went towards establishing probable cause for what they did to him later.

So the question is not will they pay you a visit. The question is how clean and prepared is your place and how well can you shut up.

Not even. Just learn to stare straight ahead and say "I'd like to speak to a lawyer." They do this shit daily and they work on a mostly social basis. Most of their evidence comes from speaking to people, getting informants to talk, getting witness statements. If you just ignore them they have nothing.

One last question--I thought that a controlled delivery had to take place for any of this to happen. Like, I'd have to sign for the envelope for any of this to even be precipitated. Why would I be taken into custody if I don't sign for it?

Especially since they won't tell you exactly why they are here. They'll do the whole "don't you know why we are here?" act.

As the man says. Blank stare. I wish to speak to an attorney. That's all that should be coming out of you. They're prepared for that though. They'll try to crack you. "Why do you need an attorney? Have you done anything to need a lawyer?

Dun take that bait. DO NOT TAKE THAT BAIT!!!! If the door opens it opens. Don't let the vampire in, don't jump the draw bridge.....

The "having to sign" thing is one of those self-perpetuating ones. They can take you in at a whim. Your place, drugs present. More than enough to take you for a chat. You'll walk home if you shut up. You stay there if you talk.

1. Setting up a bust costs $1000's of dollars in resources, so you should not really worry about a few pills. Unless you're a high profile target, or are connected to a high profile target.

2. If you're so paranoid about getting busted that you're losing sleep, get a drop box somewhere. Research on this site and elsewhere about how to do it. When something is shipped to an address 10 miles away, it creates one more roadblock in LE's effort to get a search warrant of your residence.

3. By the time LE decide to roll up on you, there's no way to talk them out of it. They don't give a fuck about you or your story, they get paid to destroy lives, and the better they are at it the more promotions they receive. The only words that can help you are "Can I speak to a lawyer." Other than that stay calm and remember that whatever happens is out of your control.

Poonjabber, would you please care to elaborate on your information regarding an "ongoing investigations of sr and it's counterparts" or is it just merely speculation of a possible such operation.

Speculation is dangerous....

Unless you have some basis for this statement, unsubstantiated and inflammatory statements don't do the community any good at all.

I can almost guarantee LE will be trying to identify and locate sellers. I've already had one user message me to ask if he could send me cash in the mail.

Maybe a bit off-topic but... Justice systems across the globe are bankrupting entire nations and so rather than spending tens of 1000's of dollars on lengthy investigations, prosecutions, trials, and incarcerations, police are more and more often using "disruptive tactics" to hit their targets financially and socially. Most major corporations and government departments will cooperate with the police, even if it means violating a citizen's rights. They can also put pressure on a target's family, friends and business partners in order to cause further disruption. For these reasons alone, it is all the more necessary to stay off their radar and keep a low profile.
