Hi I'd like to add some pics to my new listings - new vendor account - but I don't know how to make them safe. Can anyone help me out here?

I think if you search for something like 'delete exif' that might help. I haven't tried it. In Windows there is an option to 'make a copy with all possible properties removed'. It works but I don't know if it is trustworthy.
I believe the main risk is if the camera recorded GPS coordinates with the image (i.e. smartphone, etc). But other info too such as camera model and so on might be best removed too.

Maybe I'm completely fucking everything up but whenever I want to try to remove data from pictures I just pull the pic up on my computer and screenshot it, crop it and then save that.

That technique works fine. Another way to do it is open the image in a program that allows you to export is as a .PNG. Unlike JPG, PNG has no capability to store exif data. Just be very sure when you upload your pic that you choose the .PNG version instead of the .JPG. To be safe I just delete the .JPG images from the folder where they are stored, leaving only the .PNG's.

Ok thank you. Also I've seen chat about a tor image uploader? Can anyone give me the URL for that.

Sorry in advance for the newb questions.

Never mind. Worked now.

The 50 posts rule is there for spambots and all. not saying this is useful or even effective, but that's how SR staff decided it.

Understood. I've hit the big 5 0 now anyway.
