Title: Will pay up to $1000 for a weapon (AUS)
Post by: nomadzecker on November 02, 2011, 11:19 pm
I'm starting a new thread as my last one lead me no where.

My budget is $1000 to buy a pistol. I really want a glock but I'll buy basically anything small and compact (No rifles)

RULES:

I will only buy from you if you list your item on the silk road or black market reloaded.

$1500 Hmm what sort of weapon?

Yeah I'm not sure shipping either. It's pretty hard to ship a weapon internationally without getting caught. I would prefer someone from within Australia to post it.

Gah, there actually seems to be quite a demand.. i might start up a sellers account on silk road..
It won't be cheap but the main issue is how am i meant to send these without it being heaps suspicious. :/

My thoughts exactly. If you started selling weapons on the silk road there is a demand for it but it's dangerous and difficult to ship a weapon overseas through the mail.

I wish someone would figure it out already.

Thanks jesusjoints. There is a market. You can pretty much bet all places outside the U.S. is desert dry.

Know how is another factor, as all packages get xrayed. I dunno know how you weed guys get it done... I'm sure organics come out a certain color under scanners.

ship them into pieces.

That would work for everything except the frame.  And that assumes whomever you're shipping to can reassemble it.

I'd be willing to sell a Glock, but getting it through customs would be...interesting.  There might be a loophole around Airsoft or other deactivated firearms.  At least, that's how I got things into the UK.

I'll look into it.

Apparently none of of you have been reading the forums about what the general population wants on Silk Road.

WE DON'T WANT TO BUY OR SELL WEAPONS ON SILK ROAD. We don't need added attention, and that's a sure-fire way to get it.

I hope a moderator deletes this stupid-ass thread.

You dont want them bought or sold, and I can see where you're coming from.  Not sure I agree with you, but I can understand the argument.  I'm paging through the "Guns on SR" thread at the moment, and it seems to be a pretty even split.  That, and there is still a Weapons category.  Until SR admin makes a ruling one way or the other, I would say its open to every user to decide what they list, and what they buy.

I'm with you on the child porn thing though, I'll leave SR if that stuff starts selling.

I remember to see some weapon ad on silkroad some time ago. It's not "legalized" here anymore?

Did the admin make some thread to warn that is no longer permitted?

Shut up.. everyone who posted before you had interest in a weapon.. then you come into this topic and lie and tell them that none of us want a weapon.
We already have attention.. You think the government is not trying their absolute hardest to stop this website for already selling illegal drugs..
do you think once we start dealing weapons they are going to be like "oh fuck.. before i was pissed but shit just got real"

THERE ARE ALREADY WEAPONS BEING SOLD ON SILK ROAD.

Personally i believe you should be able to sell whatever you want on here..
as long as you don't scam people or lie about your product.

one way of getting past x-rays is to first strip the gun fully and the parts that stand out like the trigger guard get some low quality metal shape it to go round certain parts now making them look like a different object on x-ray maybe lable it as a sculpture or motor parts

be careful

you won't find info about it in wikipedia, but anyway my two cents: i sent and received quite a few boxes internationally. i see no reason why some couldn't have had gun parts when are concealed inside metallic items (today's handguns often don't have metallic frame, only slide).

Really? There are weapons being sold? You mean, because there is a category with a few listings, people are buying them? Bullshit. People don't buy off the category that's on SR. Perhaps you should read throughout the forums. There is a general consensus that weapons will be the catalyst we don't need. And yeah, at this point I don't think there is much being done to bring SR down. Sure there a few senators with their cocks hard wanting to, but as it's been mentioned a million times in OTHER threads, one situation where some political official's punk kid gets a handgun off SR and offs himself or someone else, and just watch.

You wanna get caught and bring others down you, go to a another anonymous market place.

Guys, I agree we will be bringing unwanted attention to ourselves...

E.G. I don't want LE coming in setting up fake accounts and causing havoc, even if they can't shut us down etc.

Also, with the publicity, we could get more and more unwanted's coming to the site. E.G. I don't want punk kids or gangster wannabes/ criminals coming to the site to by guns.

But there are genuine gun enthusiasts living under strict gun laws... I.E. It's DC handgun everyday with no neighboring states for relief where I live. AUS, NZ etc.

I don't think we should have listing on SR... but maybe if someone searches the forum, we can find a post that says "talk to that guy". Then say, I could check the guy has good feedback for his weed business and then I can PM this guy to put up a blank listing with only the amount. That way I can benefit from the reputation of the seller and escrow etc.

And this won't be blindingly visible to outsiders looking in. AS there is no standing listings for Glock 17's

Honestly, I only found out about silk road by looking at a news video on youtube about silk road. I only came further to investigate cause of the weapons category I saw there was a weapons, lol.

I identify as a Libertarian, so I get the fallacy on the war on drugs. I also care about my right to bear arms, despite the law of my land infringing on this right.

I have been reading throughout the forums
and there are some who believe weapons should not be sold
on silk road and some that do.. You can't tell me no one has bought
off these people when i've seen their accounts have multiple reviewS
and i've even bought off them myselves..

Why would Silk Road create a weapon section
if they did not condone weapon trading?

Google Silk Road and see how many news reports come up.
see how many ones say the government, police force , DEA and more
are aware of this issue..

Your logic is so unbelivably flawed.. you really think
the main thing holding back all these people is the fact
that they havent started selling weapons on SR when they already do...

Also to bmr123
"E.G. I don't want punk kids or gangster wannabes/ criminals coming to the site to by guns."
we already have punk kids and gangster wannabes/ criminals coming to the site to buy drugs..

But i agree that we should work on blocking out the publics judgeful eyes.

I'm awaiting someone to start listing weapons so I can buy. I'm not going to buy from you unless you start listing. Nor will I buy someone a sellers account to start selling (Just add the $150 on top of the selling price to cover it)

Awaiting someone with balls to step up to the plate.

What I'm after is a pistol (I'm not to fussed what type) and some ammo to use for it.

That's it, no more questions asked.

It's not that i don't have the balls, it's just there is not much point in me starting up a sellers account (even though i could obtain the product) if i have no idea how to properly ship them..

I never asked for you pay for my sellers account, nor was i planning on asking you what you needed the gun for..
If i wanted to come on and scam you i'd be like "Yeah man i can hook you up, i have stealth shipping and can get you a gun for really cheap but i need funds released 100% early.. come on lets order! these things are going fast!"

but i'm not.. i'm taking this slowly and professionally and asking people for advice on shipping if i am going to consider this.

PLEASE if you have a weapon I will buy it from you but your going to have to list it on the silk road and allow for 100% Escrow I'm not going to release the funds unless I get the weapon.

Once more I'm on the search for a weapon in Australia and now I can't even trust selling the silk road.

I WILL only buy from you if you list your weapon and allow for 100% in escrow I will release the funds once I have the weapon in my possession NOT before now.

It's the ONLY way I know your not a scammer.

I will be willing to pay $1000 for a weapon and ammo shipped to Australia so in other words I'll happily pay a premium price for a weapon.

I want serious people only who can deliver.

Ring the bell at the nearest Rebels MC club house.
Tell them novocaine sent you.
Give them $1000 cash.
Ask for a gun.
Wait.
Wait.
Run.

No but seriously... Who doesnt want a gun? I enjoy the shooting range myself...but what good is a gun if you dont have ammo? Its just as hard to get ammo unless you know somebody who loads their own. And then what if it breaks? Can you repair it? Do you know somebody who can fix it? You just cant walk into a gun smith and say... fix this. You cant really take it down the pistol range and start shooting.
I dont know your history but getting a pistol license in aus is doable...its a pain yes, but worth it for the above reasons.
That is unless you want it for a crime? Which is a grey area imo...as in, are you going to stick it in the face of some innocent person and demand cash which is a fucking dog act or are you going to stick it in the face of some cunt that just raped your GF... which is ok.
Anyway....guns... guns are too noisy. You want a knife...or a fucking crossbow. Fuck yeah... crossbows are bad ass... or a paintball marker, shit yeah nothing like shooting your mates in the back of the head with a paintball marker ;D
Why do you want a gun? personally I want a gun in case of zombie attack or ze german invasion

As some users have suggested ship the weapon in parts. Ship me the barrel and write it off as piping or something. Shoot Em Up was going to ship me the weapon handle concealed in two saw blades.

There is a way you can smuggle weapons in you just have to be creative on how you do it.

Again I will pay a premium for a weapon. So if you list it as a high price on the silk road I'll happily pay for the extra shipping costs.

Since I got screwed already I'm not going to do 50% up front or anything like that. Your going to have to rely on 100% in escrow and I will release the funds once I get what I want.

Thanks that information would be helpful. I don't know how they do it but I sense they have some sort of registry where when the ship weapons they get a special barcode or something so that shipping companies know that they are weapons and have permission to ship them.

I do not know how to take apart a gun :/

Most guns disassemble so the barrel slides off and the handle is left. Shipping it in two parts isn't going to cause as much suspicion as in 1 part.

I have my doubts in how easy it is to ship a weapon without it being detected with customs equipment being as sophisticated as it is today. Being a Metal object is going to set it off on xrays.

Here in the USA its difficult to be a firearms dealer, you have to get a federal type license. So,  when  you ship a gun, they know exactly who it came from, etc.

Plus taking a gun  apart is easy. I have to take mine apart to clean them. But, I guess, there are parts of a gun that you cant send as well. I think i would take a lot of effort in doing it.

I've gotten a few replies over PM from people claming they can do a dead drop in Australia. I'm from Victoria Australia but the only problem is I'm not near any capital city so doing a dead drop is going to be inconvenient as I will have to drive to a location.

And theres the possibility of being screwed out of the dead drop or something. Something about it seems a bit off. I would prefer postage but hey whatever will get me a weapon.

Again I will only buy from you if you list your item on the silk road and allow for 100% escrow I will only release once i get what I want.

I'm not sure if domestic post gets that much scrutiny... or, you could strip and put it in, say a 'busy' looking piece of machinery and road-courier it, should work like a charm.

same goes for you if your going to supply some twat with an illegal firearm. sheit, you dont even know how to take them apart, as said before, there is a reason there are regulations in place. so dipshits dont get a hold of them!!!!!

shiznit, you must mean the same regulations that keep firearms 'safely' in the hands of 'dipshits' like the vast portion of the LEO's on this planet?
I can't even begin to fathom why a long-standing SR member (that's you) would even use a word like 'regulations' in a positive sense. Clearly, you really do believe that the guvmint has your best interests at heart? If so, you're a bigger fool then, than even the dimmest poster on this thread. You have every right to live in your fools paradise, but in fairness, you ought to learn to extend the same privileges to your fellow SRers. The bottom line however, is that the OP wants a firearm and whether you approve or not is irrelevant.
Your rant is simply a big neon advertisment that underneath your SR veneer you're a control freak (possibly ex-services by the sound of it, or a wannabe) and definitely a 'borderline dobber'  -and not to be trusted.

Well, I can't get you a gun, but I might be able to get you body armor.  It isn't near the hassle to ship.  I only have one and frankly I don't even know what category to put it under on SR.

your best bet in all honesty is either through bikies or finding an old farmer who happends to have some unregistered firearms

Sadly this is true unless someone finds out a way to ship to Australia.

What does your tracking number say?

What does your tracking number say?

The tracking number says nothing you enter it in and from what it looks like the item hasn't even been sent it has no status on the location.

I have a Glock in .40 S&W.

Would list on SR. Would ship from USA.

Price would be high due to purchasing a Sellers account and for the risks involved.

Of course the serial numbers would need to be removed - one is located on the bottom of the polymer frame and appears to be a stamped, thin piece of metal. The second is engraved into the metal slide and the third is engraved into the barrel - these two would require the use of a Dremel tool, I would imagine. All three serial numbers are matching.

But being caught in possession of any firearm with the serial numbers removed is a big fucking deal here - and the ATF scare me more than the IRS!

So, if anyone has some good selling/shipping advice - send me a PM.

Really just interested in finding out how to ship to places like OZ/NZ where demand would be high enough to cover the inflated selling price.

I am very interested in buying a firearm (pistol) so if anyone figures the shipping issue I'd be happy to purchase it, though in a month or so, until I get paid :P

X-rays show spaces and changes in density. I think to best hide a part, you would need to stash it in something tight fitting and of similar density.
As great as the selection is to be had in the US, it might be easier to have something smuggled from East Europe or Asia.

Furd Turbler,

thanks for the info.

I was given some great advice in a PM yesterday regarding a fairly crucial step in the S/H - and I wonder if I would have thought of it myself.   (thanks again - you know who you are)
