Title: what wallett to use?

I was using blockchain but its giving me issues. is there another one anyone reccomends that is reliable and simple?

Electrum is good, though it can be a bit tricky getting it to work with TOR. It will connect directly to a server even after you define your socks proxy (i.e localhost:9150) unless you switch the connection type to HTTP/HTTPS. It is set to SSL by default.

Would you say Electrum is a good replacement for bitinstant?
