Hello SR,
I have an up and coming shooting trip, which will be a big one for me as it will be large game (biggest thing I've gone on a trip for is wild pig)
Always been at the top of my game on previous hunting trips, but this one is a federal funded and missing my mark means i'll be heading home early (which no shooter wants)
Never needed it, but in case it comes down to, what can I take to calm my nerves just a bit?
Thanks

I'd say a small dose of some good Cannabis. Too much might make you bit confused.
I do not recommend it if your not a regular smoker, never know how high you go.

Even small doses of cannabis significantly impair my shooting abilities. Try a low dose of a benzo. The equivalent dose of 10mg of diazepam should do the trick.

Agree with Ballzinator -- low dose benzo. But I think 10 mg diazepam might be a lot, especially for someone with no benzo tolerance. I'd say more like 5 mg diazepam would be safer and would definitely take the edge off.

I recommended amphetamines with a low dose benzo. Enough to keep you focused but with a benzo to take the edge off

Yeah, an 18mg Ritalin pill and a quarter bar Xanax should do the trick perfectly :D

Once again have to agree with Ballzinator.

Thanks for the recommendations!
Order time :)

One last late thought: be careful with the stimulants. In my experience, they can make you a bit shaky -- not exactly good for aim.

I'm not sure how they do it now, but in the early days of OIF, sniper teams went out with diazepam to slow the heartrate for those long shots. Can't argue with Uncle Sam when it comes to killing from a distance.

LSD and alcohol
