Has anyone actually gotten one for a domestic delivery? If so, does it just look like a normal letter addressed to the original recipient of the package? I'm curious if ordering to communal place like a clean house or shared address if anyone else would know except the original recipient?

I would also be interested to know more about this. From things I've read elsewhere on these forums, I don't think USPS sends out love letters, just DEA/customs if an international is intercepted. But more info on this would be great

I have never heard of a USPS love letter, just Homeland Security/customs. Remember, USPS needs a warrant to open mail. If they go that far, they will do a controlled delivery, and regardless of the result, the recipient will probably be arrested.

Glad to know they'd need a warrant.

Thanks Lorax. The post you linked to is very helpful and answers a lot of questions regarding domestic seizures.
