Title: Do any vendors ever mail express?
Post by: blue65 on May 07, 2012, 10:27 pm
Is there a way to do it safely? Clearly for that one you HAVE to go to the post office, right?

You can walk into any Post Office and send an express I don't think you need to show ID or anything. There are some sellers who will do Express, but remember there are cut off times for Express.

The only reason i would see to use express is if you were leaving town and needed it before you left. But, if you was going on vacation. I don't understand why you couldn't just have it shipped to the hotel. Or maybe you're at a hotel and about to check out. That makes more sense for express i assume.

Tbh it would scare the shit out of me to get something express. I don't even like getting things in priority. I like first class because i'm a first class drug user. :D

You don't have to go to the PO to send Express mail(and shouldn't)  It can be dropped anonymously just as any other class of mail can be.(don't forget 13 ounce rule) That's why they sell Express stamps.

Exactly!  just make sure its an express box if you can find one....this gives it more chance of being handled right and not getting mixed in with priority or first class.

You can get a refund if it doesn't make it on time with express. Correct? That could be a pro of express. If it doesn't make it on time, you got the shipping for free.

Good call, I think that's right but would have to double check.  i recall reading that because of all the cuts they aren't guarenteeing it accross the board anymore.  The other thing too is that it may require a receipt, so you'd have to go in person I think.  Ive been researching alittle on USPS website but its such a bitch to read :X!  Overall though yeah I think youre right technically you could get a refund.  it would be on the senders end and they would prolly have to g o in person....I wouldnt do it :), I hate going in there.....even to buy stamps stash on Prio envos and DCNS/labels.  Im in and out hella fast

I guess but the customer paid for it to be shipped express so i figured the customer would be able to get the refund. But, i guess it doesn't work that way. Are you saying the refund on shipping isn't worth the risk of prison?

I don't ship express, I believe it to be to much of a hassle and a potential security risk. I also like to include postage in all of my listings and that wouldn't be possible with express. In addition speaking from the standpoint of a vendor who's sent a few packages, just wait the extra fucking day priority takes. Receiving priority mail is a lot more normal than having express mail showing up at your house all the time.

Exactly, and agreed that if there were a way to get it without that risk,  the customer should get the refund, or at least half....:)

I can see where you're coming from on the hassle piece, but AFAIK there's no added security risk unless you're going inside USPS to make the drop.  You can still drop at a blue box (blue express box).  Personally I dont mind paying a few bucks extra as abuyer depending on which vendor it is, my express always show up next day, and if Im ordering late in the week and want something for the weekend say, i'll up it to express most the time.  Maybe in some circumstances ot would be odd to receive express mail frequently, but where I'm at it hasn't and wont raise any suspicion as long as its packed well.  Maybe if someone lived in the middle of nowhere and started to get a lot of express packys it would be weird but no more than if that same person started receiving a ton of priority shipments as well..just my opinion though.

The added security risk is that incoming Express packs receive much more scrutiny for contraband by postal police. Express mail is handled separately from all other USPS mail classes.

I'm a Postal Employee and Express is just as safe as Priority or registered mail
Express is handled separately because it's express, Usually Fedex will fly the express from point A to point B then USPS delivers it. But Postal Police are not scrutinizing Express or any mail for that matter unless they have a REALLY good reason too. I have worked for USPS since 2007 in 3 separate Postal Facilities. Never once have I ever seen a U.S. Postal Inspector.

the moral of my story is that if your shipping within the US your drugs, guns or what ever is perfectly safe. Just make sure you tape it up really good in case it gets crushed during processing which does happen sometimes.

Domestically shipping drugs and guns in the mail is safe just as long as you tape it up really good?  LOL!  That may very well be the #1, absolute worst piece of advice I have ever seen handed out on any drug forum.  With all due respect you have NO idea what you are talking about.  Postal Police scrutinize mail for contraband by profiling packages and parcels.  That's what they do!  That is their job.   That's is why the Postal Inspection Service was created for Christ 's sake..to investigate crimes against the US Postal Service.  Inspectors don't scrutinize "any mail unless they have a REALLY good reason too"??   HUH??   I'd say the fact that they KNOW with certainty drugs and other contraband flow thru the mail gives them a REALLY, REALLY good reason.

The truth is shipping drugs in the mail is NEVER, NEVER, EVER safe.  It is a dangerous game .  Granted, the odds are against you being caught but regardless, many here will end up being caught and when that happens the odds won't mean shit .

Ya that one of the things i could never figure out on sr that the fact when reading none of the domestic sellers (usa) offer nextday with fedex (a Private company by the way ) , i have order ( Not on sr ) from friends around the country and i always have them ship it nextday via fedex , usps kinda freaks me out and they have a tendency of being late with there packages , and the other thing also is why not send it nextday ? aren't you running a risk of your package being discovered the longer it sit around ? , Just my two cents
