Title: Coke cutting agents
Post by: sparkus88 on May 06, 2012, 04:22 pm
Hi I'm bit of a noob to decent coke. I know there are plenty of cutting agents that numb like coke but what can coke be cut with to give similar effect of coke, eg the buzz and euphoria?

cheers

I'm aware that benzocaine has been used as a cutting agent. It may be one of the compounds which only produce the numbing effect - not sure about a speedy feel. I have also heard of ephedrine (maybe psuedo too?) being used which would definitely produce a little buzz.

Any of the -caine class of drugs will cause a numbing effect (benzocaine, lidocaine, xylocaine etc.) They are often used to cutting agents because that's the most common street level test of purity. Their onset of action is usually 1-2 minutes, whereas real cocaine hydrochloride takes ~7minutes.

In terms of euphoria, active cutting agents like amphetamines, or some MOAIs like selegiline are commonly used to mimic a cheap cocaine buzz - it really depends on where you live and whats easily available. Levamisole is becoming popular too in some places, as someone posted on the forums earlier.

A simple test to find out what is in your cocaine is to put one line into a tall glass of bleach. Caines will show up as a yellow film on top, amphetamines will be red streak going down to the bottom of the glass, and cocaine will be a white streak going down the glass. You get a relative idea of purity based on the size of each streak compared to one another.
