Title: clearnet mail addy?

if i have mozilla t-bird w enigmail pgp w a clearnet account, is this legit to do biz on or bad idea? i tried encrypting tormail.org account with t-bird enigmail and it wasnt working for me?

whats wrong with using tormail webmail? i wouldn't bother using anything except tormail if my freedom depended on it.

nothings wrong, it's just enigmail with mozilla thunderbird is the only way i know how to get encrypted mail and i tried tormail and it didn't work with it.

oh right. in that case use a 3rd party encryption programme like GPG Tools for Mac, or GPA (which comes with Kleopatra) for Windows.  might be worth you looking for Pines PGP club, they should have loads of info and alternative solutions for problems

Tormail has a POP service. I use enigmail with it and it functions flawlessly.  There is a tutorial on the site to set it up. If you are using the tor browser bundle you will need to modify the sock port as the bundle does not use the default.
