So I have 3 packages that USPS screwed up on and lost, one was FE'd and the other 2 are gona auto finalize in 4 days, what sucks is two of these are reputable vendors that its my first time doing business with :( sucks to have this kind of first impression with them.
2 of the packages are domestic, one canada. When these orders get resolved what can I expect, a 50% refund, vendors choice?, resend?, nothing?
I dont really care I just hope the usps BS is resolved, this sucks.
thanks

That's some bad luck. Without knowing the vendors or any other information, I'd say you can expect a 50% loss right off the top.
On top of that, I'd be worried about your mailing address. I'd send a bogus package/letter from a company that has an actual mailing address (XYZ Air Conditioning Supply) in a neighboring town to the mailing address you provided and see if it gets there.
I'll never do next day shipping on anything, to me that's a red flag. Especially if the sender puts on a bogus return address; that's asking for trouble.
Did you ship with your name or a reasonable believable name on the delivery?
If you don't get your 'test package' I'd look into other places to get your stuff.

I used my name. damn this sucks on top of the loss im gona take I have to take I have to worry about my address being flagged or something :(
any sucks for my first experiences with these sells has to be so shitty, my buyer feedback until now was perfect, now these vendors probably aren't going to deal with me again, but good idea bro, ill try that out with the test package. thanks

I think if you have perfect buyer stats and a good amount of money worked with, you should, as a buyer, be given a higher benefit of a doubt. Also depends on the vendor reputation.

im more worried about these vendors not wanting to work with me or to think im a scammer, one of them has DCN though. Im just going to message the vendors explaining and to tell them they can do what they want. I just hope OPI is willing to work with me again because i wanted to try his product, I spent like $170 on his product

I had some retard at the PO mark the package as sig needed which is a nightmare for any customer - so I ate it and reshipped free product as well as ate the shipping. I felt AWFUL and it surely wasn't my fault but it with out a doubt wasn't my customer. I've taken measures so this never happens again.

Traditionally, the buyer and seller split any loss that occurs resulting from circumstances beyond either's control. Taking a loss sucks but it seems only fair that the loss be equitably divided.

Wow nice to know this!

Small vendors can as in those who send small amounts can usually afford to take hits on stuff like that.
If however, you are ordering big off a big vendor for a low price, well you are a big boy now, and sh1t happens is usually the case. One large vendor told me if you want to pay me the small price per unit on large orders, if they go missing then I will glady reship them, but at this price you assume the risk. Have only lost one and it wasnt his fault :)
