There's even better solutions that are dirt cheap and don't require you to flush them, like a remote server in some ass backwards country (Iran) which you connect to using an encrypted VPN.

Depending what kind of TV you connected your pi to, law enforcement could use certain remote surveillance methods to monitor what you are doing.

Also Tails (and all other Debian based GNU Linux operating systems) are insecure as hell. I exploit them for a living. If you want something secure, you need to be looking at BSD for a start (Apple Mac OS X is based on BSD).

Would using a hackintosh be better than using Tails then? Cheers for the information by the way.

If you set it up correctly, with the proper encryption methods etc then yes.

Using an off the shelf solution such as Tails, is like using Norton Anti-virus to stop yourself getting trojans. Anyone making trojans automatically programs in how to get around Norton into their trojan.

It depends how safe you really need to be, if you're not regularly shipping kilos of coke, you don't really need to be that paranoid.

Dont know about tails but a properly set up fedora system with an encrypted home works on the Raspberry Pi, I know because that is what I have been working on. ;)

I am curious oscar, what anti-virus do you recommend? For PC users.

I am curious oscar, what anti-virus do you recommend? For PC users.

If you insist on using Windows then I'd recommend Avast as an antivirus. It has high detection rates, good updates, is minimal and doesn't use up loads of system resources, the sandboxing feature is particularly nice (stop applications interfering with one another enabling viruses etc to spread easier) and it has a neat anti virus scan that works before Windows even loads (which is useful as any anti-virus that only scans from within Windows once it has loaded is essentially useless, can't detect rootkits etc).
