Why on the vendors page do they not show exactly how many transactions they've had? Why does it top out at 300?

Why do we need to know whether they've done 300 or 30,000? We don't. Knowing they've done at least a few hundred is enough.

It's prettymuch so that we don't give too much information to LE. Without the exact numbers, LE can't determine the quantity of that vendor's packages that have been put through the postal system within set time frames.
Just another subtle but genius way of giving LE slightly less to work with! Plus, the forums tell us the most important feedback of all, and a high percentage rating from a few hundred transactions is more than enough!

Perfect answer thanks.
@Addy - when a consumer decides to buy, they look at as many variables as possible to help them make an informed decision. I'm new here and have been doing a lot of reading and while SR is different to the RW, the fundamentals it shares to mainstream purchasing are the same. I.e. sales history, customer feedback, current product information, rotation of stock, promotional sales etc.
The % of successful sales to the # of sales gives the buyer more information to help make their decision.

It's a way to display who is elite without displaying their actual number of sales.

This works but at the same time it doesn't. I would say more but LE should do their own work.
