Might need some help later...
Do you torchat?
And if your down?

I dont have tor chat but you can pm me on here And I should answer relatively quickly (2-20 minutes). But If I was you, I consider just migrating to linux on the full. The only thing that windows is better at is gaming . period. and your talking to someone with 12 years windows experiance (windows 98 - windows 7) and 2 years of linux experience (mostly diebian based systems).

check out http://www.gpg4win.org/about.html

But unless your a gamer you should definitely check out ubuntu. it has a interface that if super fucking friendly for people used to windows and mac but its a workhorse and very flexible if you know what your doing.

Might be a stupid question, but you imported your keys into GPG4USB right?
Yes

Either way...
Ubuntu just finished installing on the VM
4 core and 8gb ram is gonna be overkill...

Nice. the best thing for creating and storing pgp signitures in ubuntu is seahorse (its called passwords and keys in the menu).

But to sign and encrypt text I prefer to use geany (download it from synaptic package manager) with its pgp plugin (also in synaptic package manage under geany-plugin-pg)

let me know if/when you need more help

I sorry to hear that. But If/when You decide to give ubuntu another go (its a wonderful OS once you get the hang of it) let me know.

By the way, where did you get stuck?
