I've searched the web but haven't really gotten a clear answer. If I'm only going to be buying, how do I encrypt my address with the vendor's pgp key? Please go into detail for retard here. Also, is it necessary for me to have a key if all I'm going to be doing is encrypting my address when I buy? Thanks!

Yes, it is necessary for you to encrypt your address when you buy.

So when i go to purchase my product, do I basically just copy and paste the vendors public key into the box and then type my address below it and it will automatically encrypt it?

You encrypt the message using the vendors public key. Then copy and paste what you get from that.
Read the tutorial and do it as shown.

That kinda just confused me more, sorry :P I'll read up on it. So is that basically a yes or no to my previous question?

That would be a no.
Try reading that tutorial. If no help, look on the clearnet for some tutorials on encryption!

Cool, thanks, I downloaded GPG4win and have kleopatra now. However, how do I go about saving the vendor's key as a text file? I tried saving it in microsoft word but it won't open and if I save it in notepad I can't find it, any more help will be appreciated, thanks again for putting up with me
