If LSD down-regulates serotonin receptors, then why is it not considered neurotoxic like MDMA?

if i had to guess i'd say it's because lsd binds to serotonin, whereas mdma releases it.

MDMA depletes most serotonin. So better have a 5-HTP post roll or before sleeping.NEVER before.
And a lot of vitamin-c post trip too.Or orange juice to go along in the drip,it's a cleaner comedown,toxins are flushed.
LSD works totally differently, moonflower is right it binds but in a very different manner compared to MDMA, LSD pathway's are way more complicated.
I feel it's far beyond research - Bump if you tend like wise.
