-
i love canada!
-
crazybart your kidding right?
and i love canada too.. however you getting illegitimate safeties doesnt happen just in canada
-
I'm with CrazyBart here... wth is vehicle safeties? Google doesn't even bring up anything.
Is this like your term for car insurance proof?
-
hah seriously? Ok... so you buy a used car right? before they will give you the stickers for your license plate, you need to have your car certified by a mechanic, saying its road worthy. thats what is call vehicle certification, aka getting your car safetied understand now?
-
Oh, ok. Never knew that.
In the US you'd only have to do that for a car that was totaled in an accident and rebuilt.
I don't know exactly what they look like... but maybe you can scan an old one and photoshop it?
-
Ahh. i see i didnt know it was different in the US. Well if anyone in canada, specifically ontario knows where i can get a fake vehicle certification at itd be stellar.

Incorrect. It's the same as a car inspection man. I'm not from Canada, never heard that phrase before but instantly knew what it was. In rural areas this usually isn't an issue in the U.S. but in nearly every major city you have to have an inspection before you can get tags to drive it. Also some states require that you pass not only a vehicle inspection but an emissions test as well.

Not where I'm at... and I'm in one of the big cities.
Emissions, yeah... but here we don't need that for new cars, or newly purchased.

Whaddya know, guess some states do... (what bullshit! lol)
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vehicle_inspection_in_the_United_States
In the United States, vehicle safety inspection and emissions inspection are governed by each state individually. 17 states have a periodic (annual or biennial) safety inspection program, while Maryland and Alabama require a safety inspection prior to registration or transfer of ownership only. Nebraska requires safety inspection only upon newly arrived vehicles which were previously registered in another state.
News to me, man. Guess I'll keep this in mind so I never move to one of these places.
