In all seriousness, I checked it out and it was as if SR went back to the 80s. I was horrified.
-
Yeah, I threw up looking at that mess lol. Gave up looking at products after a minute haha.
-
I checked the site out a few months ago, looked sketchy as hell
I prefer my door unbroken
-
Better than being treated like a fuckwit
-
Sure does look dodgy!
-
It wasn't even as fast as people said it was....
-

I agree. But I'm still going to stick with SR and stay away from BMR.
-
Are there any other marketplaces around?
-
Nothing good, I'm afraid.
-

I am sure there are. But SR is the only one that has any credibility IMHO. Not saying you won't find a leg vendor at other sites. But you risk getting ripped off.
Links in hidden sites will take you to places you don't want to go.
While it is very very hard and expensive near and impossible to track use of hidden services they are not infallible. You still have to be careful of where you go and what you do.
-
I took a peek and came right back to SR. Haven't had a bad order yet. I've heard mostly bad about BMR so far.
-
SR destroyed all these type of sites over the last 2 years and any one who still uses these kind of sites needs their fucking heads testing!
SR NO 1

You're nuts making a statement like that, SR could easily be challenged.
All it would take is a sysadmin, a web-developer and someone that could wash the money. Not that hard really if you know what you are doing.
I think we have a great future ahead of us in terms of black markets here on the Onion network, it's just a matter of time.
As soon as people start believing that these kinds of sites can be set up without risking their asses, things will develop quickly.
Until then, I'm not complaining much about SR except from the occasional downtime and this ridiculously ineffective anti-spam technique.
-
do you think that another site will come about but under cut sr thats what I think will happen and the 2 sites will be at war for ever, there will only be 2 main contenders though sr and who ever else pops up there will be others but no where near the same scale.
for the recored I am nuts'!!!!!!!!!!!! :D SCARY NUTS
-
I discovered sr and bmr at the same time in summer and chose to stick with sr. I placed one very small order on bmr and received it without any problems though
-
I too discovered SR and BMR pretty much simultaneously..registered at both. .looked around..turned away from BMR and walked away as quickly as possible. No bad experiences there or anything, just feels.....dirty....or something.
-
haha it felt so very wrong!
-
BMR doesn't receive the same attention to detail SR seems to, wouldn't bother with it
the community is full of scammers too
-
Competition is healthy. Even if I never use BMR I'm still glad it exists.

True but rep is everything

I agree

does BMR have a forum? I decided to go with SR because i could check up on the sellers reviews here.

I think they do but someone mentioned the forum there is full of scamers. From what I hear it is very different.
I didn't stay too long there to find out.
-
yikes.. thanks for the heads up.. I will probably not bother checking it out
-
yeah BMR sucks but might be needed if silk road goes down someday.

A fair few people headed over that way when SR was up and down like a blue arsed fly there before christmas. Most of them came back sharpish to complain about SR being down, lol.

well said.100%agree

Hi
-
Yeah, BMR is nowhere as good as SR, but as big of a market as SR is, in the event that SR is taken down or falls, others will come in to fill the void.
-
Don`t have experience with BMR but it looks kinda weird. ??? SR ftw! 8)
-
The place is a ghost town
-
SR is legit
-
nah
-
No shot, SR is king!
-
silk road is the fucking bomb
-
As much as we bitch about BMR if Silk Road went down we would all go on there in a second.

True. I've heard from a few friends who use it that it's much better than it used to be. They've made a few successful orders. I still reckon its a hive of scammers though, at least they have escrow. :/
-
SR has the Royal Seal of Approval.
BMR currently does not.
-
No yes no maybe sometimes
-
Still seems pretty crappy to me last I looked.
-
I have some experience from BMR and everything worked as expected.
But it looks that BMR lacks popularity and is infected with numerous scammers, maybe because it is cheaper to become vendor in BMR.
But the site works if u always stay in escrow and pay attention what vendor u use.
-

BMR Forum: http://fec33nz6mhzd54zj.onion/
I have a BMR account as a backup to SR when SR is down. But there is no traffic there and I get no orders.
I like the system they have and the site is fast (no traffic).
Buying was 50/50 scammers for me.

Im gonna stick with silkroad. Like how the hell does someone think they are gonna ship me a ak47 that doesnt need reassembling? bmr looks sketchy as hell. At least silkroad looks like a site that wasnt put together by someone writing basic script. ive never ordered from there so i cant backup my claim but i suggest people stay away from there.
-
i buy my dumps and CVVs there... but as for goodies and stuff like that, i buy from here
-
It's not all that bad. It's simply a necessary alternative.
Try to think of it as that sketchy, sorta scummy dealer you first started buying really seedy weed from (probably named Tony). Sometimes your good dealer is out of town and you have to reluctantly settle for Tony.
Tony probably isn't too bad a guy. Sure, he'll want you to hang with him and play GTA on his ps2, but overall its better to know a Tony than not know a Tony.
So hey. Here's to BMR and Tony. Cheers.
-
no.
-
Looked at it.
Laughed.
Came back to the road.
-
it sucks
-
I went to BMR once, and I haven't found a reason to take the leap of faith. It looks semi-legit, but I haven't found the userbase of SR that gained my trust. Some day, I may hop over to BMR though. For now SR is great and all, but it's expensive as shit with a lot of things, but fortunately I have found local sources for everything and don't have to rely on it as much.
Except JWH. Man I need SR for spice.
-
I kind of like the sketchiness of BMR, if SR goes down for a long period of time again I wouldn't hesitate to go over there. It could definitely use some reformatting though.
-
I supose there are a number of good vendors, but there seems to be lot of scamming. At least it is unregulated.
-
Absolutely not! SR has a way better system overall. SR was down for like a week a couple of months ago. I checked out BMR but it looked like shit.
-
BMR is bullshit. enough said
-
I actually just visited for shits and giggles to see what it looks like. Its like time-traveling backwards ten years in code.
-
I learned about it at the same time as SR. I love the Road of course but I think there always has to be more than one market. But for sure, BMR was just lame. I know there are probably some good vendors there but for now my BTC is with SR.
Likewise, I long for a market for other than drugs; I appreciate and understand the wise separation of marketplaces for drugs and guns ie the Armory. I support the Second Amendment and see it getting all stripped down...Fucked up world its all upside down. Uh oh politics talk I'm outta here..
-
competition is always good
-
checked it out, even transfered some coin there, they charged my to transfer them back, here, i am sticking with the road.
-
Competition is always good.

Well said
-
It's good there's more than just SR out there. Good for competition, good just in case this place disappears some day. But SR has everything I would ever need and more. Only thing that BMR has that we don't is guns, which I don't need :)
-
I just noticed a site called PotCo on the hidden wiki, looks like it hasn't been updated in forever though. Anyone have any experience with them?
I agree with the others that competition is healthy. The more amount of markets there are that are trying to get our business, the better. That means better deals for the consumer.
-
I like abandoned places but BMR if you visit this place you get the creeps.the atmosphere feels uncomfortable if scamming is daily business .
-
Agreed. Stay away at all costs
-
I've used the site for a while, out of around 5-10 transactions I received the goods ONCE.
-
I agree
