Just checking the potential demand for this. If you've got a media center at home, like Windows Media Centre, XBMC, or some other thing, having a HDD networked to it with hundreds of films on it would be a welcome addition.
Who would be interested in paying say $20 over the market price for a networked 1TB HDD if it were loaded with a beautiful collection of movies, documentaries and TV shows? The perfect way to start your collection.
If people are interested, please let me know and I'll get this listed.

Yeah it would work on all computers around the world. I have my HDD networked to my home network, any computer in the house can access the movies at any time. I have an original xbox running XBMC on my big TV downstairs, it reads from the networked HDD, and hey presto I have an absolutely amazing media centre for very little money.
You can get an original xbox on eBay for $30, softmodding them isn't THAT difficult. Or you can just use an old laptop, wipe it, install ubuntu on it, then follow online instructions to install xbmc on it.
I was thinking of maybe doing different 'flavours' of HDD - an action one, a documentary one, an arty one, etc. Or I you could maybe have the mixbag. 1TB of movies probably means about 1000 movies, so it's going to be one hell of a collection. All organised properly too if you use XBMC, you'll get all the files automatically tagged by actor, director, year, genre, rating etc.
Whatd'ya think?
