Hey All
Just thought I would share a FACT with you all and hopefully discourage some rouge vendors from using Aussie customs as an ongoing excuse.
8. Notification of Seizure
Section 134 of the Act provides that as soon as practicable after goods are seized, Customs shall give either personally or by post:
a notice to the owner of the goods identifying the goods and stating that the goods have been seized under section 133
So in essence ALL seized items will be recorded and the recipient WILL receive a letter of seizure! This is confirmed by a guy I met yesterday you writes legislation for the Australian Customs Service. Further if the seized item is 7.5 grams or greater, the info is turned over to the AFP and at their discretion will pay a visit and or monitor the address. In this instance you WILL still receive a seizure notice.
I know others have been skeptical of disappearing items and I hope this gives a bit more clarity to the Australian delivery situation.
Cheers
Hoffa

GREAT post !
nice work ;D
-
Thanks for that info! so does that mean under 7.5g you will only get a seizure notice? I thought ive read otherwise
-
This should be sticked. Too many of us aussies are being scammed using the seized by customs excuse.
I too knew that you receive a letter or brochure telling you what you wrote above. I received one (customs type brochure) in a box when i imported some amyl. It just stated that as legal as amyl is it is still considered a substance of abuse and that it has to be used as a leather cleaner or i could face massive fines.
-
Thanks for that info! so does that mean under 7.5g you will only get a seizure notice? I thought ive read otherwise
It's still discretionary but yes their protocol is only a letter. Also noteworthy is packages get more scrutiny and the percentage of letters caught with illegal substances is LESS than 6%!
-
thank you, great info,
if you could provide a source that would be nice
-
Hey Matty I was directed to the act (which is posted on the custom website) and this is what I sighted. Also the person I spoke with is a senior gov guy who writes legislation for the customs office. Cant obviously give too much info but it is public available info just ask my friend Google.
-
nice one! i like your style hoffa. cheers for the post!
it should be noted, that even though it may be that 7.5 grams is handed over to the AFP, in most states anything over 2-3 grams (powders) is deemed a trafficable quantity of drugs.
this has been discussed in the much earlier posts on here.
@Shiznit this is so directed for you brother because like me we both know the BS that has been going on. I was hanging for your input mate 8)
-
This is so coincidental it is almost hilarious.
My last post in the 'AUSTRALIAN SHIPPING' thread I stated that I now had proof that we were being selectively scammed and the OP's quote from the customs site was the EXACT information I was basing my allegations on (plus a freudian slip by a nameless vendor who mistook me for a new seller considering sending to Oz where he suggested to not send the original orders but wait for a few weeks and then send a 50% re-ship. I will NOT name this vendor at this stage).
I still maintain that Australia is NOT as impenetrable as it is made out to be (propaganda or not!).
And I also still maintain that SR needs to provide some form of buyer protection.
-
This is all good information, their is not much on the net to go by.
Anyway, does the 7.5 grams apply to both powders and weed?
Also what would be a safe amount of pills (mdma) or LSD tabs that could be intercepted witout it being deemed supply.
-
(freudian slip by a nameless vendor who mistook me for a new seller considering sending to Oz where he suggested to not send the original orders but wait for a few weeks and then send a 50% re-ship. I will NOT name this vendor at this stage).
Dude, you have to tell us who that was, surely... think of how many of us might order from that guy and get ripped :(
-
you can add schizofreen as one of the scammers who conveniently uses "seized by aussie customs" as an excuse then offers a 50% refund. Fucken weasle cunt of a guy.
I really think vendors should start being named.
So fucken sick of living in this country..we get scammed so fucken easily for legal and illegal shit because basically we are at the arse end of the world and there is this perception that our customs is one of the strictest in the world when really its all bullshit.
-
I agree with Demsone we Aussies need to stick together and give our substantial business to the great legit vendors out there! Fo me personally I am 11/14 with OS deliveries, my scamdar points to a vendor who starts with S ends with pino hehe. So to keep it positive my best OS vendors are

Oh geez mate, you make me feel really bad but I am in a sticky situation re: this vendor. I have made several large orders from him in the last few days and at this point I'm pretty sure that going public will jeopardize the transactions. I hope you can understand the position I'm in.
Obviously I'm now worried that he will pull the same trick on me but it's hard to tell whether it is common practice for him or just a theory that he has thought about. Even if it is just a theory that's not to say that other vendors may not have had the same thought at some point.
All I can really say at this point is that now it's out in the open that Aussie customs send seizure letters to all recipients whose product was destroyed/confiscated this should be reason enough to entitle you to a full refund on orders that go MIA (ie: aren't sent!).
If problems occur with this current batch of orders I will definitely inform the SR administration and depending on their response I will name the vendor.
I've said it before but the last thing we Aussies need is vendors to stop sending down under altogether.
MORAL: I know it's a broken record but only order from well established vendors who work within ESCROW.
-
I totally agree that we should be careful about vendors using our customs service's undeserved reputation to scam us. However, it seems like there are some aussie dogs who are also saying their shipments aren't arriving when they are....
For example, Mitanox has stopped shipping to here claiming there have been too many losses. Unless he is planning some big scam conspiracy, it must be some buyers either not being patient and then honest enough or straight up scamming as there have been no letters or arrests.
-
OT (again) but do ppl refer to LSD blotter here commonly as tabs or are you really speaking of microdots or are there really tablets (which you would generally think of or MDMA or some other amphetamine) in the English speaking market containing LSD?

Section 134 of the Act provides that as soon as practicable after goods are seized, Customs shall give either personally or by post:
a notice to the owner of the goods identifying the goods and stating that the goods have been seized under section 133
This does not happen in practice. Anyone experienced with aussie customs knows this. Small quantities of items on the prohibited import list are just taken and no notice is given.
-
Oh i see it's just a section made up by the government, because you know they can.
ffs!

If you don't know then maybe STFU! (In the nicest possible way)

Whats the link to the info you posted? Just so we can confirm and prove it to these scamming fuckers and not encourage the practice anymore.

Firstly do you realize you are quoting from the Trademark Practices Act?
Purpose of this Act
This Act provides for the registration of trade marks, collective
trade marks, certification trade marks and defensive trade marks
(for a definition of these terms, see sections 17, 162, 169 and 185
respectively) and sets out and protects the rights deriving from
registration.
You quote section 134 which only relates to items seized under section 133. Section 133 is about customs having the right to seize goods infringing trademark. This is not at all relevant.

And @danske1 I question your motives here mate? I mean really are you wanting more Aussies to be scammed or are you that stupid? Either way I cannot comprehend what you are trying to achieve? I truly dislike people attempting to plant doubt for the sake of gossip and innuendo, Its pretty clear you haven't been scammed yet or you are a scammer yourself? So please clear this up for all of us to understand?

My motivation? Simply that this thread is total bullshit. What happens when every Aussie with a missing order starts accusing every vendor or being a selective scammer?

I don't think anything is settled. If your order doesn't turn up and you don't get a love letter from customs it could be due to:
* Seller didn't send it
* Seller wrote wrong address
* Buyer provided incorrect address
* It got lost somewhere along the way
* It got stolen somewhere along the way
* Postman delivered to wrong address
* It was seized by customs (currently under debate)

Thanks for that info Hoffa, think my next order might have to be from overseas :)
Thought I'd add this link\article for people to have a read of (clearnet link)
http://www.shaman-australis.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=27171
This man is\was in court for importing kilo's of methylone and selling it online, despite it being on a clearnet site it should be a good basis for what might happen if you import bulk.
He was sentenced to a 6 month suspended jail sentence and fined $10,000
Off topic but i was hoping some people from this shaman forum find out about SR, there could potentially be some very good domestic vendors!

how bad is the customs situation "down-under?"
that totally sucks for you guys!

Well if this is the case I have lost orders from the top 2 on your list. I dont think they scammed me so something happened to it.
Do you think I got scammed?
There is some good info here and every little bit helps us to make judgement calls and to minimise risk but im with danske1. Lots of shit can happen to your order. For all we know, customs officer pockets the shit and snorts it with their mates on the weekend. Cops do it. What makes customs so sqeaky clean?
Anyway.. I love all you guys and I love how we all look out for each other but just because you dont get a letter doesnt mean anything... to me anyway.
On that note a friend of mine use to import RC's and some wouldnt turn up. Most of the time customs had his stuff because he would ring up looking for it. They dont give a fuck about sending letters for your powders by the sound of it. Import a plant and they give a fuck.
If you havent found your vendor who looks after you and you know he wont shaft you because you wont shaft him, then..... try harder:D or ask around.
-

I feel the same way buddy, good stuff goin' on here. :)
-
another thought and I cant back this up but its more of a conglomeration of sourced info...
If your shit does get seized and they can identify it, they WILL document it and put it in a file, pics, weight, address etc.
This is your case file. A case they can possibly build upon. They wont let you know about it. They may get 20+ seizures
sent to that address over a period of time. How easy would it be for them to get a warrant or build a solid case as opposed to a couple of seizures?
If they cannot identify the substance they may/will send you a letter to identify it before they pass it on.
-
What you posted is from the official government site right?
;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
Best chuckle I've had all day. Government is never dishonest to the people :)
-
Also noteworthy is packages get more scrutiny and the percentage of letters caught with illegal substances is LESS than 6%!
I'm curious where you get the 6% stat from? Who keeps track of numbers that get through? Obviously not customs if they're getting through... so who?
-
A mate of mine got a customs letter for a toy pellet gun bought from overseas. Letter just says if you can say why you should get the item confiscated back & they agree then they will give it back to you. Not likely if it's drugs though.
I do believe we are being selectively scammed here though. I had 10 successful transactions then I bought from a well known vendor. It went to resolution & I offered to extend by 10 days (knew that post from OS would be slower over December). He agreed & a day later cancelled and offered a 60% resolution. I wasn't happy with this and said so & was told that I was lucky to get money back & why would they risk their reputation with a small amount. I don't believe they are risking their reputation as they just use 'strict Australian customs' as an excuse. Anyway if I do get the item I'll refund the 60% but won't do business with someone like that again.
-
From my understanding he was ordering packages with > 1kg bricks each time... not exactly a typical buyer :P
-
In the UK you can get up to 2 years IIRC for not handing over your pw. Solution: hidden partition.
Luckily (or hopefully?) something like that couldn't pass here in Germany because not being forced to testify against yourself is of major relevance here.
-
In Australia every state has a slightly different definition of what constitutes a 'trafficable quantity' for different substances. Luckily such information is actually publicly available ;).
Anyway I figured I'd post a summary of the troublesome values (for VIC), it may come in handy for everybody:
There are two "columns" for substances, "Column 3A" which is only the PURE drug, and "Column 3" which is for the entire mixture (ie. plus adulterants/cutters/fillers etc...).
(This is from the "Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances Act of 1981, Amended in 2011" for anybody who wants to do their own research).
Amphetamine: 3.0g (Mixture)
Cocaine: 3.0g (Mixture)
Heroin: 3.0g (Mixture)
Ketamine: 3.0g
LSD: 150mg (Mixture)
Methamphetamine (Ice): 3.0g (Mixture)
MDMA: 3.0g (Mixture)
THC (Hash): 25.0g (Mixture)
Alprazolam (Xanax): 0.5g (ie. 500mg of pure alprazolam)
Bromazepam: 3.0g (Again, for pure bromazepam)
Diazepam: 2.0g (2000mg of pure diazepam :o)
N,N-DMT: 0.5g
Hydromorphone (Dilaudid): 2.0g
Methadone: 2.0g
Methylphenidate (Ritalin): 5.0g
Morphine: 2.0g
Nitrazepam: 1.0g
Oxycodone: 5.0g
Oxymorphone: 2.0g
Cannabis: 250.0g (For the plant. Or 10 plants ;D)
*Note: Masses without comments are quantities of the PURE drug. I know that some of these seem insanely high considering single pharmaceutical doses are in the area of 1mg-10mg, but those are straight out of the Amended Act.
Hope those are useful to somebody. Different rules apply to mixtures of drugs and such (usually a fraction of the mass is taken and then the total is compared to the higher scheduled chemical).
-
This is bullshit. My friends has had numerous packages seized by Customs and never once got a Love Letter. Including way more than 7.5g of DXM. These were all trusted vendors and even one package I personally sent.
I am told while thats what is said on paper, the police have "wide discretion" to do whatever the fuck they want.

This may be outdated advice (2 years ago), but I used to share a house with a custom officer who worked at the international mail exchange.
For small amounts (below the level of supply) they were generally just destroyed, it was not worth the effort to even write letters, they were only really interested in large shipments. Much of what was marked for destruction mysteriously disappeared.

I'm sure buyers scam sellers just as much as sellers scam buyers.
Suck it up folks. Do your research on the forums and through peoples feedback before making a purchase.
Quoting pieces of legislation does not give you any proof of how customs in your country operates in practice, nor is it a fallback to get 100% refund.
@enddox - Save your stories for when you're prepared to put up the proof, at that moment you're just tar'ing a heap of sellers with your brush which currently consists of little more than a story about you deliberately purchasing large quantities of a drug off someone you've had issues with, so you can go and complain to SR moderators. Oh and a "he said this to me" story.
Frankly your story does nothing more than serve to make sellers even MORE wary of Australia.
And please, can we stop grouping New Zealand in with Australia? I know our customs is just as tough, but we're honest over here at least :)
-
i think that a seller should stop providing a service to australia if they have had numerous parcels seized..... there for its up to us as aussies to hassle the fuck out of sellers who sell to aussies knowing the product probably wont make it..... if we all report it on here and in the feedback section we can stop scam sellers i reckon. im just tryin em out for willynilly meself at the moment cause seems like we dont trust each other enough yet to work together properly. wich is understandable because our governments propaganda has slowly turned us from a country who hated dobbers into a country that rewards its dobbers well.but thats a whole different subject iguess....... any way my point is that i think we as a country of DRUG LOVERS need to get our fucking shitr ogether and make the most of this awesomness called the silk fucking road yeah! i'm waiting for several tings now and im anxiuos as fuckery
-
I also get the feeling that us Aussies are being selectively scammed a bit by vendors. Some in particular... I have had a couple of orders not recieved and not worried about them because they were smaller orders and i could afford it based on the price.
That being said, being scammed out of a couple of hundred or even thousand dollars is shit. If sellers want people to let things out of escrow then they need to start tracking packages...
if i could track it and see that it had stopped at customs, then i would happily take a 50% resend, but seeing as most of the sellers just take it that we dont deserve tracking or any shit like that... FUCK EM!
if an order to australia just doesnt arrive, and there is no tracking, no proof of mailing, nothing, not even a love letter, request a 100% refund. Go to another seller.
We need some more responsible sellers and responsible buyers. Sellers that dont try and selectively scam aussies, and aussies that dont accept bogus bullshit from scumbags. Even if it is a great system its never going to be good enough to keep the scammers out and the ignorant educated.
If you are in that small demographic that gets the short end of the stick, shout out and say that you think you're being fucked!
-
Dear Fellow Australians,
In my opinion the best way to ensure we all have a good time here on the road are to follow these two rules:
1. Only use sellers who offer full escrow, especially if you are a buyer with good history.
2. Once your shipment arrives make sure to include the text 'Arrived in AUSTRALIA in X business days' in your feedback. This information is VERY helpful for other Australians. I have used this information myself when choosing a vendor, and have written all my feedback as such.
Why not help the Australian community, honest sellers and stick it to the scammers by editing your reviews right now?
Also - if you didn't receive your shipment, mention that too, 'Waited 30 days but did not arrive to Australia. 50% refund'. How many selective scammers could last with several comments like that?
We can start all the forum threads we like about who is good and who is not, but let's face it, we could either be scamming vendors talking ourselves up, scamming vendors talking other vendors down, or just general well meaning good folk who perpetuate bullshit and misinformation.
For what it is worth I have ordered small amounts from TheStore twice, both all good and both around the 9 business day mark. But don't take this post as truth, go read it in this sellers feedback.
The feedback mechanism on this site is the most trustworthy source of this information - please use it.
-

This is the best idea!
I had something seized years ago (not drugs) and they sent a letter, explain why they think I cant have it and what to do appeal their decision etc.
Had a mate that impoted roids and they sent him a letter for that too.
I can only see them not sending a letter if they plan to build a case, but very doubtful on non trafficable offenses.
No doubt sellers use it to scam Australian or use to can ask for FE or offer insulting refunds of 10% to Australiana, fuck this shit, it needs to stop.
-
Hi,
Drugs will unfortunately not be sent a letter except if it was prescription drugs such as Xanax, Prozac or steroids. If you order big stuff and it get seized AFP will raid, otherwise it is obvious they will not spook you to destroy evidence while under investigation by letting you know your pills been seized as there might be more and bigger quantities on the way. Also if you use a fake name or the person you sending to is not registered on that house you will not get a letter for anything.
I know this by experience, looking at forums and talking to a lot of people that order online. Of course be critical but please anyone show me a seizure letter for illegal drugs, cause there is non.
On the other hand, yeah a lot of sellers probably do think "fuck that skip cunt, he ain't getting shit", because it is well known Aussie customs do not send a letter and are believed to be extra tough cause of TV. But also just sometimes it can be postal workers somewhere along the line who learned to spot the drug packages and are very happy.
-
Let's put this bullshit to rest, shall we? The act appears deliberately convoluted, but bear with me.
CUSTOMS ACT 1901 - SECT 203B
Seizure without warrant of special forfeited goods, or of evidential material relating to special forfeited goods, at a Customs place
(1) This section applies in 2 circumstances, namely:
(a) in a circumstance where an authorised person suspects on reasonable grounds that there are special forfeited goods:
(i) at, or in a container (other than a designated container in the immediate physical possession of a person to whom subparagraph (b)(i) applies) at, a Customs place; or
(ii) in, on, or in a container (other than a designated container in the immediate physical possession of a person to whom subparagraph (b)(i) applies) on, a conveyance at a Customs place; or
(b) in a circumstance where a person:
(i) is at a Customs place that is also a designated place; and
(ii) has a designated container, or has goods reasonably suspected by an authorised person to be special forfeited goods, in his or her immediate physical possession; but
(iii) is not carrying that container or those goods on his or her body.
Note 1: Container and designated container have special definitions for the purposes only of this Division.
Note 2: The baggage of a passenger entering or leaving Australia or of the captain or crew of a vessel or aircraft so entering or leaving is not a designated container.
Note 3: To determine the question whether a person is carrying a designated container, or goods reasonably suspected of being special forfeited goods, on his or her body, see subsection 4(19).
(2) In the circumstance referred to in paragraph (1)(a), the authorised person may, without warrant:
(a) search the Customs place, or the container at that place, for special forfeited goods; or
(b) stop and detain at the Customs place the conveyance and search it and any container on it for special forfeited goods;
as the case requires, and seize any goods that the authorised person reasonably suspects are special forfeited goods if the authorised person finds them there.
(2A) In the circumstance referred to in paragraph (1)(b), an authorised person who is an officer of Customs may, without warrant:
(a) search any designated container in the immediate physical possession of the person to whom that paragraph applies; and
(b) seize any goods reasonably suspected by the authorised person of being special forfeited goods (whether or not those goods are found as a result of such a search).
(2B) An authorised person must not exercise the powers referred to in subsection (2A) unless the person having immediate physical possession of the container to be searched is present at the time when the container is searched.
(2C) For the avoidance of doubt, the power of the authorised person under subsection (2) to seize, without warrant, goods found as a result of a search of, or at, a Customs place that are reasonably suspected of being special forfeited goods includes the power to seize, without warrant, any goods that:
(a) have been produced as a result of a frisk search of a person; or
(b) have been discovered on the body of a person as a result of an external search or an internal search of the person;
if the search is conducted under Division 1B at the Customs place and the goods are reasonably so suspected.
(3) If, in the course of searching under subsection (2) or (2A) for special forfeited goods, an authorised person finds a thing that the authorised person believes on reasonable grounds is evidential material relating to an offence committed in respect of those special forfeited goods, the authorised person may, without warrant, seize that thing whether or not the authorised person has found any such special forfeited goods.
(4) For the purposes of a search conducted under subsection (2) or (2A), the authorised person may question any person apparently in charge of the place, conveyance or container about any goods or thing at the place, in or on the conveyance, or in the container.
(5) The authorised person must exercise his or her powers subject to section 203D.
"Special forfeited goods" are broadly defined but include "All Prohibited Imports", these include narcotics.
"Container" is defined broadly as well; baggage, receptacle, "any other thing that is or could be used for the carriage of goods".
"Customs Place" - again broadly defined but includes "a place for the examination of international mail".
If we apply this terminology specifically to drugs and refer you to section 2(A), they basically say 'If a customs officers suspects drugs are enclosed in an international letter they are permitted without warrant to search and seize any narcotics enclosed.'
So if we've ascertained the above act regulates the search and seizure of narcotics, I refer you to the section below which is included in the same subdivision (Subdivision G--Dealing with goods seized as forfeited goods) and directly relates to the above.
CUSTOMS ACT 1901 - SECT 205
Requirement to serve seizure notices
(1) After goods have been seized under a seizure warrant or under subsection 203B(2) or (2A), 203C(2), 203CA(3) or 203CB(2), the responsible person must serve, within 7 days after the seizure, a seizure notice on the owner of the goods or, if the owner cannot be identified after reasonable inquiry, on the person in whose possession or under whose control the goods were when they were seized.
(2) Subsection (1) applies whether or not a claim for the return of the goods seized has been made under section 205B.
(3) The notice must be in writing and must be served:
(a) personally or by post; or
(b) if no person of the kind referred to in subsection (1) can be identified after reasonable inquiry--by publishing a copy of the notice in a newspaper circulating in the location in which the goods were seized.
(4) A seizure notice may be served on a person who is outside Australia.
(5) In this section:
"responsible person" means:
(a) in relation to goods other than narcotic-related goods--the officer of Customs who seized the goods or to whom the goods were delivered under subsection 204(3); or
(b) in relation to narcotic-related goods--the member of the Australian Federal Police who seized the goods or to whom the goods were delivered under subsection 204(4).
The above is a statutory requirement requiring customs to notify the owner of the goods (assumed as the recipient) of any seizure of narcotics under the aforementioned sections by post within 7 days. This is pretty straightforward, there's no question about it.

do these laws change from state to state??
over in wa anything over 2g of powder is a traffic-able amount!!
-
Fuck SR is starting to really piss me off...it's like hanging out in Kings Cross in the mid 80s..full of fucks everywhere trying to roll you or sell you shit.
unfortunately the cross is still the same- last weekend a friend was robbed of drugs in the toilets at the sapphire lounge...
apologies for OT :)

Dude again, NOBODY got a seizure letter for non-prescription narcotics. So either nothing is getting seized or they do not send seizure letter for narcotics. You go ahead and look at eroids.com , the majority (the rest probably got scammed) got a seizure letter when their steroids got seized...but no it does not happen for narcotics. I do understand we all want to think that our shit get through if we don't get scammed and that the AFP does not keep records of us, but unfortunately...

Hey guys,
Sorry to burst your bubble but I have had experiences that suggest otherwise to the original post.
Back when i was 16 I was selling all kinds of shit, and importing a lot of stuff from China.
I had a 2g parcel of 4-FA seized by customs, i read it was seized on the postal tracking service, never received a letter or any notice whatsoever.
Happy with this lack of shit given by customs, i later went on to order, to the same address: 26g methylone, 8g butylone, and 4g of MPDV in the same parcel.
Again this was seized (again stated on online postal tracking) but i never got any notice in letter or email form and that is well above 7.5g.
P.S I am glad I never got my hands on that butylone and MPDV at that age, and i have since been educated enough to know to avoid such substances.
That 26g of methylone would have been nice though :( (I managed to get 20g to that address before though)
-
26g of m1? Wow... Imagine if you we're capable of hitting even half that in one binge!
You'd have to look down to see the sky!
-
1+ karma for you my friend. Thank you very much
ALSO, cant stress how helpful it is to have a simple AUS in your feedback. Makes us aussie feel alot better about ordering! Its an aussie thing to do to help out a mate and fellow aussies
-
So is there no agreed upon idea as to what customs/LE is doing after packages are seized?
Is it probable that the AFP are keeping tabs on an address or will give you a knock on the door just because a personal quantity of x got picked up at the border?
Sorry if this question has been obviously answered elsewhere.
-
Thank you. Last year I had 3 orders that did not arrive from overseas vendors. Their excuse was all the same: "Australian Customs" and all 3 orders would have been over 7.5 grams. I did not receive any letters of seizure and I replied telling them if it was seized by Aust Customs I would have received a letter - as I had once in the past. I didn't receive any response from either three. NB These were not ordered through Silk Road.
-
Nice thread. Cheers hoffa. This has cleared up a lot of my confusion about aussie customs protocol.
-
I'd just like to comment on the subject of you poor Aussie's being "scammed".
I'm a vendor, a well established one who has been here for a year. I have sold probably a dozen spore syringes to Australia in that time. In the past, no issues at all. Something has changed though. In the past two months I shipped three syringes to australia. NONE were delivered, nor a letter from customs. Hopefully one of you was one of those customers, and can dispell any thoughts of me trying to scam someone. I'm sure if you were, you'll be chiming in, since I gave these customers full refunds, AND a bonus. I felt terrible, and responsible for their packages not arriving. Wonder what I could have done differently. I felt bad that they had been waiting a month in anticipation of growing some shrooms, and never got any spores. In order to make sure they still got a chance to get their grow on, I sent them all FREE prints and paid postage, after giving a full refund, and refunding the SR fee they lost when the ordered was cancelled.
I think maybe your country's customs policy has changed, whether they have made that public knowledge or not.
Don't be so quick to decide you know what happened. The vendor you are tossing under the bus just might be telling you the truth.
-
I think maybe you are not so clever sending syringes into Aus... wtf ??
Why would you do that?
Don't be so quick to decide you know what happened. The vendor you are tossing under the bus just might be telling you the truth.
I couldnt agree more.
Usually those calling scams are some kid on here that cant even legally buy beer. They think their package wont get seized because 'Aussie borders aint as good as it is made out" They have read all about the 100% success from some other kid on SR.
Bulletproof... gotta love it.
On the other hand I would not be so quick not to dismiss that "some" vendors most likely selectively scam buyers. Im not saying out of greed but out of being snowed under with orders and letting a few orders slip through un-shipped.
BTW I have never heard of anyone getting letters for anything other than quarantine issues, RC's (asking for more information/identification, Pharmas.

Unless there is an ongoing investigation.
IME this trumps this act.

whats very weird is that i had some colic drops from overseas and i got a letter saying i had to identify the chemicals
-
Hi guys.
Customs will not forward anything on for illegal drugs.
How do I know?
I had an ounce of drugs ordered from America with tracking.
Drugs made it to Australia Customs and never moved from there.
You can see previous posts of mine on the matter as I was waiting for my
door to be kicked in.
Coming on two months now and nothing.
Anyone else have familiar experiences ?

Sure there is heaps of similar stories but you will find they wont post about it;)
For every one that gets caught. Im sure there is heaps that go through.
