Title: Nicks/cuts in letters (US)
Post by: revolt015 on September 02, 2012, 04:33 pm
The last few things I've gotten sent in normal postage letters, I've noticed that there has been a sort of round cut maybe an inch long at the bottom of the letter envelope, like someone took a very large hole punch and cut a bit of the bottom off. Recently I had a "normal" letter come in that had something like this on the bottom as well, although the cut wasn't as clean (the ones before were quite clean, this one looked like someone did it with their hand or something not very sharp).

Should I be worried?

No.....why should you be worried? This is very common...

I've had regular mail go through with long cuts vertically and horizontally across the bottom and sides of the envelope.  This is quite normal from my experience at least.
