Hi,
I'm trying to encrypt my address to provide to a seller but they are not showing up in the recipient list when I go to encrypt the message despite their key showing up in GPG Keychain Access (Mac version).
Here's what I've done so far:
I imported the sellers public key (right clicked, went to Services > Open GPG: Import Key From Selection). I assumed the import had worked ok as the sellers pub key was now showing up in the main GPG Keychain Access window ... but when I wrote my message and selected Services > Open GPG: Encrypt Selection - only my key was listed in the 'Choose Recipients' window.
Any idea what i've done wrong?

Hi,
I find it easier to use TextEdit.
1.) Copy and paste your Vendors public key into TextEdit.
2.) Save the TextEdit file as Unicode UTF-8 format
3.) Goto GPG Key Chain access
4.) Click import.
5.) Select the file from Step 2.
6.) Type your address in TextEdit and highlight it. Right click, select Services, Encrypt and then select the Vendors public key.
7.) Text will become ciphertext and then paste into SR.
I find this really easy. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the guide Chopperos, you've explained it very well. I just followed this exactly, however when I got to this step
6.) Type your address in TextEdit and highlight it. Right click, select Services, Encrypt and then select the Vendors public key.
The vendors key was not visible!
I fucked something up somewhere ...
