Title: Lost BTC on blockchain.info
Post by: pathenry76 on September 03, 2013, 10:58 pm
I just withdrew from my SR account to a blockchain.info wallet that I created just for the pupose of bouncing it off it and using their shared send. Before the BTC showed up in that wallet, I accidentally bumped my tails USB and everything disappeared. I rebooted but the wallet I created was without an email and I did not write down the seed words. Is there any way to recover those bitcoins?

The identifier was a long string of gibberish. I do still remember the password of course.

I think they are lost into the abyss if there isn't a way to find that wallet. All I have is a password and a relative time of transaction. Unless I can look at the blockchain for a transaction of that amount around that time and use the address associated with that transaction to recover the wallet?
