Title: Does SR throw away coins after the decimal (ex .006)
Post by: DrugsAreFun on April 02, 2013, 09:16 pm
Just wondering how that works because I just sent some coins over with more accuracy than SR shows.  Are they still in my account or do they get thrown away?  For example if I sent .753 coins my first transaction then send .007 in a second transaction will they round up?  Basically, does SR keep track of coins in the .001 place in the backend even though they aren't shown?

Yes, it does. I now have so little bitcoin, that it doesn't show on the "show bitcoin" option. But if adjust SR to show it in dollars, it says I have about six pennies worth.

Well to answer my own question, I just tested and I believe it is keeping track of it on the backend.  I sent two transactions over and I believe I have about .xx5 or .xx6 and it rounded me up to the nearest .01

sr now has 4 decimal places, so you should get a more accurate picture of your BTC
