Title: ExchangeService did NOT scam me - but other people are still having problems
Post by: gnarf on November 04, 2011, 12:50 pm
--- THIS HAS BEN RESOLVED FOR ME!  ---

I got new numbers that worked. But I'm not alone, read the whole thread.

At the moment the seller ExchangeService is withholding 137 bitcoins or €300 (depending on how you see it) from me.
I have used his service before to exchange my bitcoins to ukash. A total of four transactions for around €8-900 so I felt quite safe.

Three days ago I got my fifth order, a few ukash numbers totaling €300. I tried to use one of them before releasing the coins, just to be safe. And here is where I ran out of good judgement. I tried to fund my neteller account with the ukash and got a message that it failed. So I sent a message to ExchangeService to let him know. He claimed that it had happened before and it probably was a temporary problem with the ukash systems. According to him he checked the numbers before sending them to me. So I thought ok, I'll release the coins now...

Now a few days later, I have tried all the numbers several times, both to fund neteller and trying to combine them and convert them to virtual mastercards at ukash.com. None of them works! I sent emails to neteller and ukash and both replied that the problems are not on their end.
After I got those mails yesterday I contacted ExchangeService and asked for my coins back or new ukash. If he verified them before sending to me he can still use them, because I have not done anything to them. The last 24 hours I sent two messages and they are both read but ignored.

This is my way of putting a bit of pressure on the subject and perhaps warning a few fellow silk road travelers, that just because a seller is in the top ten and you have a history together it doesn't mean things can't go south quickly.

..UKASH makes big problems atm. Lots of Voucher become invalid, even those, bought at gasstations and got splitted. I think they are aware of UKASH being used widely in the carder-scene.

..anyway, I ordered some stuff from exchangeservice on 26.10. shipping within EU, no border-crosssing. I finalized early after he asked (highly trusted seller, i thought)...but since then no communication whatsoever...no answer to my messages , when my letter was sent out...

be careful....

You are not alone Gnarf i have the same issue only i have 500 euros in the pipeline so to speak.

I really cannot believe it have used him a many times so i am very baffled at why he would start scamming now.

He did reply to my messages that the problem was at Ukash i have mailed them and am still awaiting answer.

In the meantime i am starting to fear the worse as i have never had any problems with his vouchers ever.

ugghh this is really not good to hear.. I just sent him a bunch of BTC to change into Pecunix yesterday.  Figured there would be no problems since he's been around forever and has a great rep.  He said they would be ready today so I will update later.

I have send a message asking for new vouchers as well let's see how that goes.

I'm assuming all your vouchers were UK purchased.  During the riots many vouchers were illegally generated and ukash not only put in steps to prevent these vouchers from being used, but also fucked things up for most people if you use their UK site.  I've had to generate 10 different accounts as well as they restrict the amount of times you can use their conversion tools.

I send a message to ExchangeService yesterday i have yet to get a reply.

I have a little bit of sweat in between my ass crack as 500 euros is a nice amount of money.

It's starting too look though as it is really not his fault. Anyways i have asked for new vouchers and am hoping for the best.

But i mean i assume buys his vouchers legally so why have they de-activated his then? And will activate them later then?

i have used his service 3 times successfully for UKASH.

3 or so days ago i gave him enough BTC for £100 ukash, he gave me a number that did not work and blaimed problems on UKASH.

I have since bought 2 ukash vouchers from different stores and they worked fine.

exchange service is not answering communication.

Well he obviously has/had problems with his ukash. Hopefully is not his fault (as he claims) and you will all get your money.
I updated the title and first post so it not seems everyone is happy again, just me.

I will hold back on new orders for a while. But I hope it gets sorted, it was a very valued service for me.

He definitely is not a scammer! I have dealt with him even out of escrow many times but now I got some problems with a few ukash vouchers, too.

Does somebody know what is going on with ExchangeService at the moment? No active listing and has not been seen 3 days? But yesterday he still had his listings? Can one delete his listings (several pages!) without logging in?
I ordered weed more than a week ago, he asked me to finalize early, so I did. Didn't receive anything till now; his rating say that his packages take several weeks the last few months, so there is hope, but now I am a bit scared...?

EDIT: His listings are back since over a week; But I still didn't receive my product. Have been waiting 14 days so far.

EDIT2: Order arrived today. Resolved for me :)

I ordered 1 or 2 months ago and my order arrived about 7-8 days later. The weed was great. So I ordered some more. released bitcoins almost directly. Its now been 12 days, when changed to "in transit", but no weed in my mailbox :(

Hope it will come soon :/

My order arrived today, after 14 days.
Everything is fine, he only seems to have timing problems.
Nevertheless: Good vendor.

Got both orders today! Nice packed, and really cool weed.
Normally shipment within germany takes 1-2 days.
I guess he is just sending out every 1 or 2 weeks, or had other problems.
Checked the stamp and it was shipped yesterday ;)
One order was ordered 1 week ago and the other 2 weeks.

So if you order and have bad luck he might just send out his orders yesterday and you have to wait 1-2 weeks ;)

The weed is great! Sure, it sucks waiting for it...but its worth it.

I have the same problem with Exchangeservice. I ordered some Weed at 24th  April, shipped April 26th  and nothing arrived until today (May 6th) .Absolut no reponse from ExchangeService.
He doesnt answer my mails.....
Normaly it takes 1 day to send a package from germany to germany.Im sure that was a bad deal.

status: in transit
seller: ExchangeService(97)
item: 3g Santa Maria
quantity: 1
shipping: Germany
ordered: April 24, 2012
shipped: April 26, 2012

This deal sucks ....

Exchange Service ripped me off for a £100 Ukash voucher several months ago, still never replies. Guy is a a selective scammer.

Update:
Today my package arrived. It took 13 days from ordering to arrivel (germany to germany).Normaly it takes no longer than 1-2 days to ship from germany to germany. The quality is OK.This is not the way to make business.Sorry but next time i use a different seller.
If you order Weed from Exchangeservice maeby he buys Weed from another vendor and than he sells it for a higher price.Thats the only answer i have why it takes so long to ship.
