Title: Buying and Selling Bitcoins in Australia
Post by: 1a2a3a on January 23, 2012, 06:20 am
Hi all,

I would like to know about the easiest/cheapest/fastest options Australians have for buying and selling bitcoins?

It would be good to have a list for everyone to read.

I used TradeHill in the past and it was pretty good until they decided to ask for scanned copies of my personal documents...

I've had no probs with Gox, although a lot of people seem to hate them

Have had one transfer completed within around 4-5 hours (NAB)

Definitely spendbitcoins.com.au I have used him 5 times now and always perfect! Around $6000 worth of transactions! I have also worked out after fees and everything you end up in front as we have a stronger $ to the US$. You need to get past the going into the bank thing as it is not illegal to buy or sell BTC.

And given the coins hit your account same day you cant go wrong! Highly Recommended.... 8)
