Title: does moving BTC from one wallet to another effectively tumble them?
Post by: verdant_world on September 01, 2013, 03:59 pm
Sorry if this has been discussed already ,but does simply moving BTC from one wallet to another tumble them ( i know that SR tumbles them as well- but just to be extra safe)-

I am talking about obtaining BTC from exchange then transferring to a bitcoin- qt or multibit wallet and then sending to SR

is this sufficient or is it recommended to use a service like bicoin fog?

Moving your coins around from wallet to wallet is still traceable through the blockchain. I would recommend using Bitcoin Fog if you want your BTC to be untraceable
