What's the deal with the +1/-1 stuff? Is it explained anywhere? Is there an FAQ I missed?
Thanks,
bs

Let me be more specific. I understand what karma means, but how does one go about giving it? Is there another post threshold beyond 50 we have to get to before the buttons show up?
Thanks,
bs

I haven't found it in any FAQ yet, but if you're used to using forums it should make sense.
In case you're not used to using forums, here's the basics:
1. Members with higher rank are allowed to dish out 'karma' points
2. In most forums, the 'karma' points a user can dish out within a set period of time will be limited to avoid hate-bombing or the opposite
3. When dishing out a 'karma' point to a user, the 'disher' can choose from + or -
4. The more + you get, the more people liked something you did and said "yeah, this is a good guy"
5. The more - you get, the more people hated something you did and said "woah hold on dicksplash"
6. + = good - = bad.
Capisce?

Whoops! I shouldn't have ignored the red 'somebody else has posted' message should I?
Ah well, it's now sitting there for anybody who doesn't understand karma XD

I appreciate the reply. I expect there must be a post threshold I just can't find it documented.
Cheers,

The threshold is 100 post. Once you have past the 100 post mark you will be allowed to give + or - karma.

Thanks Newguy
I have been wondering the threshold myself.

Yes, thank you very much. Is that information documented somewhere or is it oral tradition?
-
It's surely some kind of conspiracy.
There's a karma monopoly out there.
My proof?
Well my lack of karma of course.
Cue unprecedented negative karma.
Seriously though, thanks for the information.
