Title: Am I prepared for my first order?
Post by: expandmind on August 25, 2013, 10:13 pm
I know how to encrypt, I am mostly familiar with etiquette, I have looked at reviews and threads of top sellers, I know about escrow and not to finalize until it is received.

Is there anything specific I need to do before my first order?

I also don't know many acronyms and shorthand things yet, if anyone knows these or others I should know I would appreciate the help:
FE = ?
WoW = ?
GD_  = ? (forgot the last letter, I think it was something like that that I saw).

Thanks.

oh, I just figured out FE due to some context, Finalize Early.

FE= finalize early.

Its when you release payment from escrow before you receive your product. Something you should NEVER do. Vendors may ask you to FE, but take the communities advice and DON'T DO IT. Simply look for a new vendor with feedback that supports them as a vendor.

Next steps:

Update tor
Turn off scripts
Use a REAL name and a REAL address
Don't get paranoid.. You'll be able to get high soon ;)

Got it, I will certainly write truthful reviews. I greatly appreciate what this site stands for, the freedom and empowerment of adults who want sovereignty of their consciousness. I am grateful (:

The reason this guy says to not sign for anything is because if LE (Law Enforcement) sets up a CD (Controlled Delivery), they will arrest you after you sign for the package. Now from what I understand, LE will usually only set-up a CD if the product in mention is greater than the amount that is considered felony possession. They usually won't set up a CD for Misdemeanor A/B possession. That isn't fact, though (Just what I'm assuming)

There are tracking options that require no signature.

I didn't know that - thanks. Where does the no-sig tracking begin/end? Is it different in different countries?

... Yep I once used my cat's 'name' - had to turn back the posty and go on the address back at the depot + sure it's my son's package, bricking it

What does turn off scripts mean?

Also can't you tell the seller to put "current resident" as your name on the shipping address for extra security

current resident

And if something is not right with your, contact the vendor first before leaving feedback. Feedback left is now permanent.

I am also curious about the "Current Resident" for the name question. I would think that would be more secure, but I don't know from experience. I have gotten regular mail like that before in the past.
