It's a shame it probably won't happen, they've said they probably will not tour with this album :/
All I want is to see them and David Bowie in concert in my lifetime and I will be happy.

Interesting topic...
Fuck, straight up disco is amazing - but I think if it comes back it'll be in an EDM format anyway, just because producers cant resist messing with stuff. The new DP track is dope though - but I do get the feeling only a select few could pull of releasing something that basic and getting enough airplay for people to get hooked...

Love the new sound, makes me want to dance. I am hoping though they do have some tracks that go back to their roots themselves.

I didn't really like the new single. It sounds like they're just trying to cash in on the rise of club bangers about getting drunk and hooking up aka they sold out.

i was just talking to my friend about whether or not actual "discos" even exist anymore. Like saturday night fever discos. I'm not up on Daft Punk or EDM at all, but i do listen to a good amount of disco/funk/r&b (thank you american bandstand and soul train). But i do like that new song of theirs just for what it sounds like.

Lol i feel like Daft Punk is trying to return with a footing in the rave scene but to be blunt they arent really cut out for it. Their music is rad n all but i really dont think it should be in the same boat with hardstyle/house/dubstep/drumnbass
