Title: Bank Transfer Local Bitcoins, My bank to theirs?
Post by: jarodfromsubway on August 06, 2013, 03:15 am
I know its not anonymous at all but can I go to my bank and transfer to someone elses account if i have their bank account number? I always check localbitcoins but no one ever uses banks that are near me for deposits.

Yes you can. Buying bitcoins is legal. However after you recieve the bitcoins you might want to move them through a few wallets before transferring them to Silk Road. It probably won't do anything if you don't, but it's always better to be safe.

The thing that gets me about most bitcoin transactions... they're 99% anonymous.  TRUE anonymity is hard to come by.

Yes OP, it's fine.  It's not illegal to buy bitcoin.  With proper tumbling, no one will know where they came from.
