If I use Local BTC to get BTC in a wallet there, can I transfer those straight to SR safely without having to do anything else, no tumbler or anything? Never bought off SR, I tried to get BTC about a year ago and I got screwed by vlad so trying to be cautious now.

Since Silk Road has a system built in that tumbles bitcoins, it should be safe. You can also keep your account on localbitcoins anonymous as it doesn't request any personal info. I think localbitcoins is a great option, but it is not available for everyone.

I used localbitcoins today, I realised after I'd made the transfer though that my e-mail address contains my real name. Is this a security breach? I'm assuming ideally it should bear no connection to your real identity, so shall I make a new account and e-mail?
