Ive heard people saying they wish they had a Bank of America around so they could use BST. What is BST!? I have many bank of americas around me and would like to use this BST if i can easily get BTC with it. damn bitinstant is pissing me off and i cant get it to work.... just like MANY other people. does anyone know of any other sites i can buy BTC from and still get my BTC the same day? I really do not want to have to wait 3-4 days for my BTC to show up, otherwise i could use bitstamp.

BST is Blue sky traders. Here is the url ok2yri46aaptiu2d.onion/index.htm
I've never used them but have heard good things.
-
forgot to answer your second question. you can try localbitcoins.com to find someone local to trade cash for bitcoins with. i've done it once with good luck. although they had an 8% markup so don't think i'll be doing it again.
-
Was just about to say localbitcoins
Having to go to the bank can be a pain and online bank transfer is the easiest method
-
I am now taking Bank of America cash deposits! Check out my vendor page and message me!

Are you using your real name and info for cash deposits with bitinstant?? i have never had an issue with them.. i make deposits and within minutes its in my wallet.. it took longer for bitcoins to be deposit into my SR wallet then to purchase them
-
If you use the BitInstant method, do you send the Bitcoins directly to your SR wallet address? Or are you supposed to send them somewhere else first, and then transfer them to SR? I am so confused about how to buy Bitcoins and get them into SR.
Also, I have a Bank of America within walking distance to me, so if anyone can explain the "BofA" method I would appreciate it.
Thanks!

Are you on vacation? Can't see vendor page.

I had a (yes, only one so far) good experience with:
JumboMonkeyBiscuit (e.g., <http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/item/97836cde48>)
I will likely be using him again!

I have found Bitinstant to be both fast and reliable.
I prefer to use their service where I deposit (i.e., pay) cash at a local Walmart or CVS and send it to my SR bitcoin address (i.e., wallet). This only takes a couple hours from start to finish. Bitinstant charges 3.99 percent plus a flat $3.95 charge.
It may be more secure to use other, intermediate services, such as Dwolla, Virwox, or Mt. Gox. However those services often require you to have a verified account, and they take an additional commission.
I note that Silk Road allows you to change your bitcoin wallet address at any time.

I bought some coin with cash in the mail:
http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/category/155
You pay a bit more for it, 10% in my case, but the coin turns up right in your SR account real easy and I got the bc in 30 hours from posting. And it is about as anonymous as you can get.
Just make sure you check the vendor out properly - and then hope s/he is not to stoned to sort shit out ;)

Heard they are good, and pretty fast. Reasonable rates..

I have use my real name for the BI transaction before and I have also used aliases. Only reason I was looking for an alternative was because BI was down for a few days and i needed to get coin fast. Yes, I usually get the same blazing fast service from BI as well. Although I must say I went though BST this time and had a little over 3BTC in my wallet within 1 hour after my BoA deposit. Thanks BST will definitely be back! Around the same price as BI, but completely anonymous! (besides having to go into the bank... but no names are given)

I have used BitInnovate. They worked well for me.

Others have already mentioned localbitcoins.com; I've had success there using Bauhaus (via citibank cash deposit). I've also used btcquick.com and been pretty happy. It is not at all anonymous, so you might want to use a mixer to remove any taint before transferring your coin to an SR wallet.
-
Ya, I saw Bauhuas as a local bitcoin vendor myself... Was considering working with him... seeing as bitinstant is down as of yesterday I believe, for what seems like a complete overhaul... not sure if this is good or bad... they're not really giving any information out at this time.
Anyone have any experience with bitstamp or any other legit exchange services. NOT really wanting to use Mtgox, considering their validation of everything personable.
