where does the phrase "good night, sleep tight" come from? If I think you cheated (searched for it on the web) you will get a -2 karma

From the children's nursery rhyme:

Good night, sleep tight
Don't let the bed bugs bite,
If they do, bite them back
Then you can smoke some crack

(I may have ad-libbed that last line)

This saying originated from prisons in the 1940's. "Sleep tight" referred to sleeping with your buttocks clenched tightly together while sleeping to prevent what is now commonly know as "Surprise Butseks".
