Title: Processing an order
Post by: jubjub59 on April 27, 2013, 11:23 am
I'm a first time user of SR and purchased some products about 36 hours ago. But when I go to my 'Orders' section it tells me that my order is still being processed. Is that normal? If so how long until it goes 'In Transit'? Hope someone can help. Cheers.

The vendor has to mark the order in transit, so there's no set time for when that will happen. Some vendors only ship on certain days of the week. They will usually make note of this on their vendor page. It's been processing for less than two days, so that's not all that uncommon. You will be able to cancel the order if it is still processing after four days.

Some of my orders have been "Processing" for up to 5 days... But they get round to it eventually. Generally it's due to their shipping procedures and business parameters. Often they never ship on Fridays, and a lot of vendors take frequent time away from SR. Generally they'll update.

If you are that impatient, you can message them.. But I'd wait 3 or 4 days, and if you can't be fucked waiting, just cancel after the 4th day. It's uncommon that they'll just leave an order "processing" forever. They get to it eventually. Relax guy :)

Actually, how to I release payment when the order is still processing? It doesn't seem to be possible but then how do I finalize early?

You can't. The option to finalize will not be available until the order is marked in transit.
