Title: STOP BEING STUPID WITH YOU'RE MONEYPAK NUMBERS!!
Post by: NoWhereMan on July 26, 2012, 01:40 am
For fucks sakes.

I cant tell you how many people i have talked to that have been scammed by scamming moneypak vendors.

BUT the problem is the fault is just as much the MP holder than the scamming fuckbag.

DONT send you're moneypak number to 5 vendors.

DONT send you're moneypak to a vendor without first contacting them

DONT expect you're shit NOT to get scammed if you send ur moneypack to every idiot advertising moneypak exchange.

DONT expect SR to do a dam thing to help you

DONT expect SR to do anything about the scammer once he scams you. THEY DONT CARE.

There are only a few vendors i would even recommend. I have been very lucky but i have also been SMART about it.

Once you send that money pak number to more than 1 vendor you have no way to prove who scammed you.

GREENDOT will NOT tell you WHO or HOW it was used. About all those useless pricks will do is sell you a card and tell you when the funds were taken off.

PLEASE PEOPLE just use some brains. AND BE CAREFULL! i fucking hate when i hear about someone getting scamed out of there $XXX amount of cash off a moneypak.

Who are the good vendors?
I can't make heads nor tails of it.

Paying 10-8% service fee seems high.

Just curious.

I've used BTC Buddy and Sugar Mama with success in the past.

But if you're trying to avoid paying fees then you shouldn't be getting your coins on sr. You should be using a site like bitinstant or something similar.

Your vs You're

What's the difference between your and you're? Your presence on this page means you're about to find out.

Your

Your is the second person possessive adjective, used to describe something as belonging to you. Your is nearly always followed by a noun.

    What is your name?

    Is this your pen?

Your book is on the table.

This is your chair and this is mine.

    What happened to your dog?

Your being here is causing some problems.

You're

You're is the contraction of "you are" and is often followed by the present participle (verb form ending in -ing).

    You're going to be late.

    Is that what you're wearing?

    I think you're lying.

If you're ready, we can go.

    I can't believe you're a doctor!

When you're my age, you'll understand.

The Bottom Line

The confusion between your and you're occurs because the two words are pronounced pretty much the same.

The ironclad rule - no exceptions - is that if you're able to replace the word with "you are," you're saying you're. Otherwise, your only choice is your.

The forum spelling trolls!
Thanks, I do it all the time;)
I guess if somebody mistakes a spelling mistake you can't understand, but really it's being proven you can ;)

I guess Bitinstant is the way to go, but you you use a bank deposit instead of these stupid moneypaks.

I agree unwiz.

I was only talking about peoples being stupid with these MP #'s.

If you are paying 10% for ur moneypak thats actually very good. most vendors including myself charge a little more.

Just be careful people. Because once you send that MP # out you are at the mercy of others, and some on hear want to do nothing but ripp you off

paying 4.95 for a MP....THEN paying 10%-15% in fee's to get bitcoin is stupid. if your not getting them from a trusted vendor (NOT a BTC vendor) FEE FREE at WEIGHTED AVERAGE then it's WAY safer, and WAY cheaper to just open an account at MtGox and use bitinstant to deposit funds onto the exchange. AND IT'S EASY

bitinstant's fee is 3.99% + $1. then a small fee on the exchange ( .55%)to buy BTC at Last Price(usually .10-.30 higher than weighted average)
deposits can be made everywhere MP's are sold, actually, even more places. look for the MoneyGram logo. Your money is usually sitting in your MtGox account before you even get home!

or

0 fee vendor, $4.95 for MP and BTC at the Weighted Average discount
