Hey good people,
I am looking for opinions on what people would expect if their package never arrived. I have bought many times from the same supplier on SR, however my most recent package never arrived :( i contacted the seller about this and their answer was basically sorry but there is a no refund policy. Now i can completely understand it is not the sellers fault and these things happen, i guess i am a bit miffed about the whole thing and thought if i were a seller i'd try to compensate in some way, especially to good customers. Just wondered what other people's thoughts are on this matter.

it depends on vendor, but the usual is at least 50 percent discount, because both sides take risk. do you have a high refund rate? low amount of purchases? are you a new nember? these things can lead to not getting a refund

I've been a member for 3 months and made a good few purchases and no auto finalize or refund. I think the no refund policy applies to everyone in this case.

Sounds to me like they're trying to be fair to everyone by not playing favourites with anybody...although personally I'd always reimburse someone who's given me decent business.

if its in escrow then i not sure they can make thier own policy like that, just go into resolution. If its not in escrow then i guess leave a negative review stating the package didnt arrive and they dont care and cant prove it was ever sent, or just forget it happened. seems like your options to me. you certainly are not giving us much info so with out knowing whos the vendor and how it was shipped etc cant say much.

I second going into resolution. If the vendor has no proof that they sent the package (valid DCN) then you should get at least some of your money back which would be better than getting no money back IMHO.

spot on. did you finalize early with this missing package? if so, let that be a lesson to you about finalizing early. it should only be done on bulk shipments with og's like ivory and mitanox who can be trusted.

Yeah i did finalize early, the vendor insists everyone finalize early. Since starting out here i've had to finalize early on almost every purchase. Most of the lucy vendors on here insist upon it for some reason. I've never had any problems with the vendor before so wouldn't tarnish his name by giving negative feedback, i guess its just one of these things. I was just curious about people's opinions and experiences.
