Title: mailing network? for safer delivery.
Post by: anaballin on February 17, 2012, 04:10 am
If I was a vendor from the netherlands, who have huge customer base from the US.... I would set up a mail route with the UK who I would mail to someone in the UK who would then forward it to the United States.

I know that as a customer from the US I avoid almost all vendors from Netherlands because I know that customs watches over shipments from there very carefully. The UK however seems to not be as closely watched.

I'm saying this because, I know I'm not the only one.. but I really really really want to do business with a few of the vendors from NL but the inconsistency of packages arriving just seem to risky. I tend to judge on first impressions and on my very first order from the netherlands my package doesn't make it...

I can see all kinds of problems with that...however, if a vendor could find a reliable, trustworthy colleague, that would not be a bad idea.
