How safe would it be to access https://www.localbitcoins.com through Tor to launder your money. Anyone have any experience with this? How would you use it to maximize safety?

localbitcoins.com lets middle men offer bit coin buying and selling services. The site is good its who you trade with on the site which should be your question.
-
it all depends, i suppose on the seller. most are bitcoin advocates, such as found on bitcointalk forums. theyre in it for the financial return and have good transaction fees. luckily, the one i found has been awesome, and get my bitcoins within minutes upon meeting with them. cash, paypal, or other simple payments, and it's super fast. but like i said, seller quality may vary.

Just used them for the first time and it was great. Easiest BTC transaction I have had. It probably does depend on the seller, but I, too, found a good one.

yea ive used one guy on there 4 times now every time coins are sent so ridiculously fast he must be sitting there pressing refresh on his statement!

I think it sounds like a bad idea. How else would local cops work? I would almost guarantee that one of the locals in any major city is LEO.

So what are they going to do? Arrest you on the spot for buying bit coins? Its completely anonymous you can use OTC deposit. Its the safest possible way to buy coin.

That is what worries me. There are only 3 sellers where I am and only 1 close to me.
