Post by: Mongrelbuster on April 30, 2012, 09:53 pm
Is it a good idea to deposit bitcoins directly to my silk road account instead of into my wallet on my pc?

Yes always a good thing to do, you can never be too safe when it comes to leaving a trail.

Use always bitcoinfog or similar laundry site when you do purchase or something similar
So you won't leave any trail and there is only 1-3% transaction fee at random

How well does bitcoinfog launder coins? For a fee like that, I would want 100% guarantee that shit is buried.

Again with the 1-hit-wonder solutions. BitCoin Fog is NOT the only thing you should use. It's just one small part of an overall process.

What steps should I further try to be secure?

Depends if you are just buying or you're are selling as well. If you are buying fogging is ok. If you are selling or making large transactions that's nowhere near enough.

Can you tell me if I can transfer directly from bitcoinfog to SR wallet or do I have to transfer them first back to my eWallet and then to the SR?
