Reality check, "world" doesn't mean America.
How did you come to the conclusion that Netherlands is not part of world history?

Contrary to popular belief, marijuana is not "legal" in the Netherlands.

de facto legalized consumption, but not production nor processing and only of small amounts.

I've been there and I bought weed from a coffee shop. I guess if it was illegal I should have had to buy it from a dealer or with a medical card (California). Weed has been tolerated in the Netherlands to the point where nobody gives a shit so practically it's legal. And the world knows that you can smoke weed with no problems.

"Tolerated to the point where nobody gives a shit" is not the definition of "legal". Sorry for being a smart-ass but weed consumption in the Netherlands is decriminalized/tolerated, not legal.

It does the trick right? you can smoke weed in front of the police with no problems technically I was wrong, practically I was right. Netherlands its weird.
+1 you had a valid point.
edit: no +1..... Sorry, you can't repeat a karma action without waiting 72 hours.

The smoking lamp is lit in Seattle and Boulder. Until the feds take it to the supreme skirts. They won't let this stand long.
The drug war is a cash cow for the feds, the CIA is one of the largest importers, to fund their black ops without congressional approval.
That's what X- Governor Jesse Ventura says anyway.

But it's still legal for the police to take weed away from you and that wouldn't be the case if weed was in fact completely and truly legal :D
