Title: Shipping Intl from US with no human contact
Post by: pot2peer on March 18, 2012, 04:37 pm
Hi,

Is it possible to ship international with no human contact (i.e. just dropping the package and customs forms off at a 24x7 drop box) via Fedex, UPS, or DHL etc. from the US instead of having to take the forms and package to a post office during business hours in front of all the cameras?

My apologies if this is covered in another thread...

Thanks!

Depends on the size of the item, perhaps.  If you're just mailing something that's standard-letter-envelope sized, you can just put the correct postage on it, write "air mail" on the envelope and throw it in the box.  I've never filled out a customs form for letters (nothing actually in them but legitimate correspondence) I've sent to friends overseas.
