Title: Ask an economics nerd/trader
Post by: bzzout on December 18, 2012, 03:54 am
Just found this forum and thought I'd make a thread.  I have my BS from an elite university and my MS from an Ivy League both in economics.  I'm currently a trader.  I focus primarily on fx markets and S&P mini contracts.  Every once in a while a little bird whispers in my ear about a sure thing.  So be it theory, investing or whatever ask away.

@bzzout, interesting topic, thanks for doing this. I'm a coder; do you have anything to say on the subject of automated trading? I'm referring to accessible stuff, strategies involving maybe a few trades per day through APIs like E*Trade's. Any ideas?

This might be interesting. I'll start with the obvious question. Do you think bitcoin will have any significant impact on the world economy within the next 10 years?
