Noob question here, but...
The public keys that everybody posts, the long code, like this...

-----END PGP PUBLIC KEY BLOCK-----
And so on...
How do you utilize this? How do i encrypt my message with a public key, WHEN IT IS IN CODE/TEXT FORM AS SUCH ^
I use GPG keychain access, when I export my keys they are in .asc or .gpg, both of which when i double click on them take me back to the GPG keychain access with a message. So, I myself am not even sure how to post my public key in text form, which i know i need to do!!
Any help would be greatly appreciated! :o
I've got bitcoins in my SR wallet ready to spend ;D but still feel a bit confused about this particular matter, and i want to be as secure as possible

Import Public Keys by savings them as InsertNameHere.asc and using GPG Keychain's option to "Import Key"
Open text file (.txt) or whatever, type your message. Highlight text (still unencrypted at this point)
right click, should be an option to encrypt (with a mac it's "Command + Shift + E") then select the key of the person whom you want to sned the message to..?

"Import Public Keys by savings them as InsertNameHere.asc"
Where do i save them? do i copy and paste the text into textedit and save it as an ASC file?
-
Save them wherever you like? You just have to be able to find them when you "Import Key -> Browse -> File.asc"

GURU you are a life saver!
Thanks for being so specific it really made a difference.
What i was confused about was copying and pasting Keys into text edit and importing them via GPG services into the Keychain client.
I did not have half of the things unchecked that I was supposed to so, once again, THANK YOU!

GURU i have another quick question, or for anybody else, but I am trying to purchase something with my encrypted message and bitcoins, and a PIN is required at the bottom of the cart page? I've never seen or heard of this, and don't know what PIN to put in there, or where to find the correct one.

It does seem I forgot my Pin.
Well, fuck a duck, I'll have to wait a week!
Thanks Guru, you are the man.
