Hi community!!
It often sucks when abbreviations are used and not explained!
All of the not english/us born roaders are sometimes confused about the meaning...
f.i.(for instance) OS = overseas, online security, on screen or what..?
Thanks for explanation at first use of any abbreviation!!

OS : operating system, like Windows, Linux etc. Lots of people use secure OS like TAILS, often from within:
VM: Virtual machine, running your OS from within an VM adds an extra layer of security
LE: law enforcement
FE: finalize early, in the SR escrow system, your payment is held until you finalize, when you receive your order. FE is when you release payment before order is sent, normally due to new/untrusted status.
PGP: proprietary encryption software. Used interchangeably with:
GPG: open source version of same. Used on SR to encrypt mailing addresses so only vendor can read it.

LEO, LEA = Law Enforcement Organizations, Law Enforcement Agencies
TBB = Tor Browser Bundle
SR = Silk Road
