Title: TOR on my college campus
Post by: horrorhotel on September 03, 2012, 11:55 pm
I am using TOR at my college campus. A couple questions:

1) Can the IT at my school see my traffic or the website that I'm sending it to?
2) If not, can they at least tell that I'm using it? If so, how?
3) If they know I am using TOR, how suspicious is it? In general, would it raise a red flag?

Ultimately, you won't have a problem. I have ordered to a big college in the USA and it was fine. The risks are high so I would reccomend connecting You -> VPN -> TOR just so they can't see the traffic. Get your coins from CVS/711 and order domestic and in your name and you'll be completely fine.
