You're getting there: just takes a lot of study. On PGP, if you haven't already, be sure to download this documentation, and go thru it: it's not that long, and I used it myself to learn how to use it: http://www.gpg4win.org/documentation.html (That is also good site for any pgp downloads, for beginners)
What we are talking about, usually, is just each other's *public' keys. Once you get your pgp app installed, it will ask you if you want to create your own key pair, and then you will have a private and a public key, just like we do. You can then give others your public key, so they can encrypt messages to you. They we will give you our public key, so you can encrypt to us. Your 'private' key, is used so you can decrypt the messages we send you.
If you are buying on the main site, and they give you their public pgp key, then you can encrypt your address to the vendor.
My own preference for btc wallet--and tumbler--is instawallet.org. Just go there, and then be *sure* to save the address, as that is your online wallet. YOu'll see, if you go there.

so the outline / framework is:
1, pgp is used to encrypt in order to send and receive messages to and from buyers...

i did a search and summised kleopatra was for kde, then i saw a build for windows....lookin further it pointed to gpgwin (?)...so which OS is this you have it installed in?
if windows, has to be an icon. otherwise look in Program Files for a pgp relevant folder, then look for an appropriate .exe to d/click on...
if mac...ooh...{i have a osx snow leopard here...don't know where its going to install w/o investigating the binary...}
if linux, will have to search for the install / destination path like /usr/bin, or /usr/lib/ xxpgpxx
ok

Kleopatra is the GUI of PGP. You work within her (pun intended ;)
So open up Kleopatra File -> New Certificate
Enter whatever for name/email
Enter cryptic passpharse
Chose the Paired PGP Keys
Then create a backup of your PRIV & PUB key if you like
Click Finish
Then viola Cert created. Right click it -> Export Certificate to get your PUBLIC PGP Key
This is too long to explain actually..you know it comes with documentation for a reason.
That's how I learned.

2010iron883,
You don't NEED a wallet! just transfer your bitcoin from your vendor to your SR wallet, it's encrypted wallet 'signature' changes every time you re-load it with bitcoin. Bitcoin is untraceable moved around in tor, how much more security does a buyer need? All these extra wallets take time to set up and run -and really, provide nothing more than a false sense of security (cos you ultimately end up on SR no matter now fancy you network your bitcoin, so just go there already!) I'm staking my freedom on it.
GPG4WIN is a pain! The thing is, you need to run a 'regular' mail client on it, and there's the weakest link! Another ridiculous nonsense that nobody has actually thought through! It's kind of like waving a bazooka around that fires invisible rockets thinking LE won't notice the bazooka!
It was not designed for 'undesirable' elements like us!
Tormail is just brilliant. It's in a cloud, it can't be traced or shut down, the webmasters tell LE and anyone else who wants info that they can stick it where the sun don't shine! It's anonymous, and leaves no cookies or other traces on your system when logged out. You might need encryption for SOME emails to vendors, but again it only seems to be the address, what else could you say in a SR deal that a) would give LE any worthwhile info they don't already know about SR already? b)trace tormail back to you?
I use cloud based tormail.net and I'm looking at PGP from arcticsoft, 15 day free trial, if that sucks like GPG4WIN, i'll keep GPG and only encrypt if the vendor insists. You're right, its a fuckin mission to run this shit! Again, the benefits seem dubious for the drama involved and the fact that we openly discuss lawbreaking here but encrypt emails on the minutiae of tiny deals, it would be hilarious if it wasn't so lame.
I have physical addresses that don't lead back to me anyway...

I get the sense that some people are not aware of the clipboard function in GPA, which comes with Gpg4win. I think you'll find that it's pretty easy to use.
