Title: BTC gained through wire transfer - simple anonymity question
Post by: OneDrop on October 03, 2012, 11:46 am
Hey,

I have an account at BitMarket.eu (BTC-trading-platform) and purchased Bitcoins via normal bank wire transfer.
Hence, there would be an unacceptable lack of anonymity for me in transferring the coins into my SR-wallet.

Now, here comes my question:

Why not simply use a second wallet (which I could access anonymously) between in order to obscure the direct connection / link between my Bitcoin-account (through which my identity could be unveiled) and the SR-wallet?

The second wallet could belong to anyone.

I am quite sure it won't be simple as that, what I am interested in is the WHY NOT?

Thank you for your quick reply. I understand.

Secure options I have heard of so far are
1. Laundry Services (extra fees)
2. Purchasing anonymously, e.g. here on SR-market (extra fees)

What I am actually interested in are options that improve personal security AND are not bound to extra fees; options:

1. See my description above
2. ?
...

Is there any other famous way to raise security without having to pay any extra fees?
