Title: Has anyone ever MECKE tested Pharmvilles 5/325 Percosets? *READ*
Post by: NeedHelp on March 25, 2012, 02:40 pm
I just recently got some eztests from eztest.com and it is the Mecke version. It says that the test will turn Olive Green when presented with Oxycodone. I tested Pharmvilles 5/325 percosets and it's coming back Redish/Brown. I've tested a few pills from them and they all come back Redish/Brown NOT Olive Green.

What's up with this? Normal?

maybe the tylenol is messing with the test. I have no idea, just a thought...

You're correct.
If you look at the Mecke test reaction thingy:

A reddish brown is Propoxyphene HCl, which is Dextropropoxyphene an analgesic ...

So either the manufacturer's of PV's 5/325 perc's is mixing APAP and Dextropropoxyphene because that's the standard in the country of manufacture (and it's not illegal there, and cheaper then APAP) ... or, PV has been selling Darvon with APAP.  I'm not saying it's one or the other but ... it is one or the other :P

I've had em and they are definitely 'perky' so i'm gonna go with the first option.

One or the other? Both of what you said are the same. Mixing APAP with Dextro or Darvon with APAP is the same thing because if you mixed APAP and Dextro that would be Darvon so Darvon with APAP is the same thing.

So the question is this... do these pills really contain OXYCODONE??? I don't think so.

Stupid thing on my part is I had one of the OC40's and I didn't end up testing it to see if THAT was even what it REALLY should be.

What I meant was " mixing APAP and Dextropropoxyphene because that's the standard in the country of manufacture (and it's not illegal there, and cheaper then APAP)"

BUT still has oxycodone in it (they just didn't use straight APAP, they used the two cuz perhaps dextropropoxyphene is cheaper in the country of manufacture.

OR "PV has been selling Darvon with APAP"

In other words selling pills with just dextropropoxyphene and APAP.

Having taken them they definitely are much stronger then dextropropoxyphene, and when you consider the quantity of it to oxycodone, it's going to drown out any colour from the oxycodone in the mecke test.

PS: Sorry for taking time to try and help you, considering you seem to think you have all the answers already
