Title: Newby question re "stickie" and ISP
Post by: peadeardearg on July 02, 2012, 08:05 pm
I am new to SR and doing my best to get to grips with it all  :)  Very impressed with the stickie "The Complete All-in-One Guide on How to Anonymously Use Silk Road " and will implement soonest.  Could some kind experienced user confirm, without taking my head off  ;D, that when I boot from the USB and have done the requisite GPG stuff then what will my ISP Virginmedia be aware of once I start to use SR. I presume they will be aware, if they are bothered at all, that encrypted data is being sent from my IP adds into the TOR network.
Deepest apologies if the question seems simplistic but I have searched for an answer.

Just buy a prepaid cricket dondle w/ one month service. Total cost is 70.00 and you will be anon. as long as you stay off camera, pay with cash, and activate under the name John Dough.

DomesticShrooms...now understand dongle but am fixed PC. No care if ISP sees TOR use as long as data encrypted which it will be  :D
