Anyone able to supply Microgynon 30 ED? Need at least 6 months (perferably 12) supply of it for my brothers gf.
Backstory: this stuff should be free our country but our healthcare is the card-carrying nationalised type and when my bro's gf first went to her nurses appointment she truthfully answered their questionnaire and told them that her dad had a non-fatal heart attack aged 40. The nurse then said a close-relative under 45 having an MI meant she wasn't allowed to be prescribed birth control because of stroke risk blah, blah, blah. This info in now on computer so when she tried to get it at another clinic they said no to her because of her dad. I sourced it for her from a local dealer and she's been taking the above type/brand for the past five months with no problems but he's really charging far too much for it so she needs an alternative source for it.

Believe it or not those risks are very, very legitimate and serious. Even more so if she is a smoker. Even more so if she uses anything that might elevate her blood pressure. If she was denied an oral contraceptive there is likely a very good reason.
I understand your fustrations, but for the sake of her well being I'd strongly advise looking into some alternatives.
Assuming she wants to be on birth control for the purpose of contraception, I strongly suggest looking into getting a Intrauterine device (IUD). A copper IUD is really awesome because it's the MOST effective form of birthcontrol and because it doesn't release any hormones at all, it doesn't carry any of the cardiovascular risks that come with oral and other hormonal contraceptives. All it consists of is a tiny copper bar which is placed in the cervix. Once it's inserted, it's essentially 100% effective and best of all, it lasts 10 years. No missed pills, no unwanted side effects. Should she decide to conceive, then her doctor simply removes it and she's good to go.
I know someone in the US who received one at no cost and the process was effortless.
Given that you're outside of the US, the process should be even easier and copper IUDs more common. I'm surprised it wasn't offered as an alternative.
Seriously, look into this. A copper IUD is most likely a win-win for the both of you!
