Title: I believe Time Traveler / Mile High Medicine are running a DCN scam
Post by: wallyg on February 06, 2012, 09:47 pm
Hey new user, registered for the name game, member on sr with a different user name for 6 months or so with 30+ sucessfull transactions. Obviously, since all my posts are in The Name Game thread, or related to this issue you should take what I have to say with a grain of salt. However before i'm accused of shilling for other cannabis vendors, I'll say that honestly none of them have quality much higher than the good bud i can get locally, and the prices and time spent vs calling my boy and having him swing by make none of the vendors currently worth it for me. That being said, every other pot vendor i have dealt with personally (won't name names but ive tried a few of the big players) has actually tried to do business with me and not just take my money.

Here is my experience with Time Travler (I'm pretty sure we all agree Time Traveler and Mile High Medicine are the same person, which is sketchy enough by itself.) I ordered and 1/8 from him towards the end of December, the price was right, and I wasn't in a huge hurry, I knew he had a reputation for being slow going into it and was pretty excited my order was marked in transit the next day.  15 days later as per his profile i place the item in dispute, after 3 days, I message him on sr and tell him to stop blowing off my resolution. His response was that he wasn't ignoring me but dealing with the huge volume of messages he was getting on SR, this threw up a red flag, because his entire profile is basically about he has way more important things to do than talk to his customers. On the final day before the resolution expired, TT replied with a dc # that showed the item (which was shipped 7 days after it was marked in transit) made it to my state, but then was returned to the bogus return address. This set off another major red flag for me, every order i've made that has actually shipped (over 30) has made it to my drop point, which is in every way a legit address. Even the most sketch hand addressed envelopes always seem to get through.

I replied to the resolution saying that I thought any issue with addressing the package was on the vendors end, as i have never had such issues. TT never replied, and amazingly after another week or two of extensions the admin gave me a 100% refund. I figured it was just a fluke, untill i saw another feedback with the exact same result (package made it into buyers state, but then was rejected and returned to the bogus return address.) Only this buyer, probably newer, or unaware of TT's rep released his funds to TT and still gave him a 5/5. Id reference the other feedback but TT seems to be migrating all his business over to MHM now that his spot is blown. Both TT/MHM both have paragraphs in their profile about how if they can provide a DCN there will be no refund, this is pretty standard among vendors that use dcn's but you don't see a big specific paragraph about it in Pharmvilles profile (or many other vendors for that matter).

Since Mile High Medicine still had listings up yesterday I grabbed a few feedbacks that support my DCN scam theory, legitimate vendors rarely if ever have lost packages from what i've experienced/ heard about on the forums. All these feedbacks can be found/verified in MHM's profile.

1 of 5   did not receive package and seller made little effort to resolve issue.

3 of 5   Order never arrived, though the seller provided a DCN so probably got lost in transit and I had to eat the cost.

4 of 5   The shipment almost made it and was sent back and I never received it. These things happen and I just had to eat it.

5 of 5   lost in mail,bummer.

One of these feed backs even specifically states the package almost made it (just like mine) and then was sent back, and another mentions how they released funds to MHM based on their DCN policy.

So my questions to the forums are as follows.

I have never recieved a package from TT/milehighmedicine, but from those who have, Does anyone care to chime in on whether or not he used printed labels (or some awful scrawl handwriting?)?

Anyone know if there is a way to address packages so they will go to a certain state or sorting center, and then be returned?

I don't think i've read about other vendors running a similar scam so I hope i'm not just giving the scumbags more ideas, But this looks pretty damn fishy to me.
