Title: Canceling an order
Post by: jahbless on June 17, 2013, 09:04 am
I placed an order about 5 days ago and the seller still hasn't confirmed. I now have the option of canceling the order, but the price of BTC has dropped about 10% since I placed my order.

If my order total was $200 and I now cancel the order, will I get back $200 worth of BTC at current BTC rates, or will I get back the number of BTC I originally spent on the order?

The word "cancel" would imply that you just get out all BTC that you put into the order.

Anything else and SR would be labelled either as a rip-off (if giving out less BTC then you put into the order before cancelling) or as a pretty rad money making scheme (put in BTC, wait for the exchange to fall and then withdraw more BTC then you put in).
