Nobody seems to check the "drug safety" forum so I thought i'd ask the MDMA experts on this (MDMA section on rumor mill):
Details: Been on the SSRI about 2 months, maybe less. 40mg dose. (Citalopram, for anxiety, not depression)
Height, 5'7-8" not quite sure
Weight, about 160lbs
I've done some research and found that if you're on an SSRI and you roll, you won't feel any affects at all really.
My SSRI does nothing for me, and I don't get any withdrawal effects when I stop taking it (so maybe it's just not affecting my seratonin receptors in my brain anyway?)
So, how long do you think I need to stop taking them before I can roll properly?
I'm going out on saturday and would REALLY like to roll on some MDMA, I stopped taking my SSRIs this morning.
I've googled the shit out of this and it seems to range from 3 days to 6 months before you start to be able to feel the MDMA, so which is it?
*Again, remember that I said these SSRIs don't really affect me at all so maybe they're not fucking with my serotonin receptors anyway? Some SSRIs work for some people and not others.*
I could drop one now, but all i'm doing is sitting in the house all day so that's not going to be very fun, I just don't wanna go out saturday and think fuck yeah gonna roll and then nothing happens.
So basically. how long do I need to stop the SSRI before I can roll, and is there any chemical in natural food I can eat that might help my brain re-adjust to normal seratonin uptake levels?
Anyone with experience on the issue?

Bumping this.
Small update - Day 4 of no 40mg Citalopram and not feeling any withdrawal effects.
