Title: question about "in transit"
Post by: ghost1993 on July 24, 2013, 09:19 am
hi guys made my first order today and product was marked as in transit at about 6.30 .now i know it should mean the post office has it or the post box.but i read a vendors profile that said they mark it as in transit when they have packaged it and its ready to go. so basically for the majority of vendors does " in transit"  mean they dont have it any more? thanks

depends on the Vendor if he already gave it to the post office or just finished it for sending. But there shouldn'd be a big difference for you as customer.

I think for vendors it is more safe to set it first "in transit" and then sending it, instead of sending it and while coming back from the post the ordered is maybe already canceled (possible after 3-4 days)

i think the ones that are going to turn round and ask you to FE will mark it in transit while its still at there place. then if you don't FE they don't send it.
