to become a vendor its a small fee of $25. that means there will be alot of people scamming, since its so easy to profit off a 25 dollar buy in. unlike silkroad is more like a $500-600 vendor buy in.

So don't be a retard and stay in escrow - problem / risk solved?

I prefer to go to the Pacific over the Atlantic.

Watch out for those pirates around the Gulf of Aden.

Well, disliking the small escrow is one view. I would like to vend a small amount of a very popular product I have, about $500 a month or so, but the $500 that has to be put up is hard on me as I am retired and on a fixed budget! Us old hippies, that don't live in a very urban area, are really helped out by this online connection, and it would really help me to be able to do a little trading/bartering/vending (call it what you want), so I am looking into the possibility of letting me start out making a few sales, with all of the $$ coming in being held until it gets to the $500. Oh I know I have seen most of the rip-offs people pull in the black market, been buying weed, et. al for near 40 years! The biggest tool really is the holding $$ in escrow and the buyer/seller reports, where there is a transparent reputation for all to see!
