Title: Where the hell can I get BTC??!
Post by: fumanchu on July 18, 2013, 01:48 am
What are you guys doing for coins currently?

BitInstant is down... Blue Sky Traders are out of stock, CoinMama's out of stock, BTC-Brokers is not an option because they require account validation which can take several days (I think? Their website is shitty as hell, confusing, and unprofessional) . CoinBase requires a waiting period of like a week or something, which is not an option. There used to be a place called get-bitcoin.com back in the day, but I can't seem to find it so I assume they're no longer in business...

So where does this leave me? What other options do I have? I know theres gotta be a lot more BTC exchanges out there... I'm looking for an instant exchange for USD to BTC (meaning not more than a few hours until coins are deposited), and I can do it at Bank of America, but NOT Chase or Wells Fargo because theres no Chase or Wells Fargo within roughly 100 miles from here..

So lay it on me folks, where's the coins at these days?!

localbitcoins.com
Second. Also campbx.com, if you don't mind the snail mail wait and the not really anonymous protocol. But hey, what do ya want, true bitcoin purchase anonymity is a thing of the past, except maybe with localbitcoins. And even here that only goes as far as meeting face to face, and some vendors require some kind of validation (sms).

I sell BTC!

Can you provide any feedback or get any people here to vouch for your services or anything? A link to your SR account might be helpful if you're a vendor...

I don't mean to imply you're a scammer or anything, just trying to be safe.

I'm looking for $160USD worth of BTC. I need exactly that much, so whatever fees you charge would have to be tacked on top of that.

Thanks for the reply.

And thanks Cimicon-Rep for that list.... Greatly appreciate it! Though I've tried every single one except MP Traders...

bitcoin-brokers.com  - go site and create an account  - very fast and eazy

way easier than using bitinstant, zip-zap, and mt. gox for cash deposits...

they do not ask any personal questions - just want an email address to communicate, and your BTC wallet address to send the coins to

had my coins verified in my wallet in about 2 hours total

search 'bitcoins' in the marketplace search bar, there are a few vendors who sell.

Bitinstant may come back soon...

There is no bitcoin-brokers.com. All trhre is is the godaddy page indicating it's an open or not used website url. Like it's parked.

Did you actually use them to say all that about their being fast and easy and not asling for personal information, etc.? You say you got your coins in 2 hours. I wonder if they folded already. An exchange that doesn't ask any questions in this regulatory environment is definitely not going to be around for long!

I need $850 in btc right now!!!   I know everyone says localbitcoins.com   but all the cheapest prices are for OKPay.  But since recently, It is shut down for US users.... Sooo????  How the hell do i get an OKPay acct if they wont finance it??  It just really sucks...  I seriously need a trusted vendor that will sell me $850 in bitcoin... I dont understand why more vendors dont do it thru SR, especially if they want to do it anonymously...

If you can help me out with the $850, please pm me... but dont if you are a piece of shit scammer that has no other way of making money other than using the trust of loyal SR travelers!!!
