I'm going to be eating some beans this week. Looking some music to roll too. Any recommendations? Usually listen Progressive house,Funky Breaks some trance but open to anything as long as its something I can listen to for at least 4-6 hours.
-
I ate some beans tonight and I would highly recommend a DJ called John Talabot. Having a great roll listening to his album 'Fin'.
Here is one of his tunes, I love it (I love everything right now to be fair!!)

Recently been on an ESKMO fix while rolling. A mix of DNB, downtempo electronic, ambient, psybient, awesomeness. Definitely something I enjoy listening to when I have the chance to put on headphones and absorb the full effect of the music.
ESKMO on Clearweb:

Thanks will add both to my play list.

I mostly listen to Old school trance and hardstyle while rolling, but any edm works, most music i have tried to listen to while rolling have been awesome. Though black metal wasn't that successful though.

3 free mixtapes at the-weeknd.com -- highly recommended r&b/hip-hop/electronic

Thanks for the link. If anyone has any other suggestions would love to hear them

Not everyone likes this, but I REALLY like listening and dancing to good newgrass/bluegrass. Bands like Yonder Mountain String Band, Cornmeal, Railroad Earth, and of course String Cheese Incident <3
-
Oh, and of course Shpongle, but that's something i like to listen to while candyflipping and smoking some deemsters
-
Lights by Ellie Goulding. Remixes by Potomac Club and Bassnectar. Also, Norah Jones' Happy Pills. It just fits lol.
-
I also like feel-good music from when I was younger: Beach Boys/Beatles for the comedowns of my rolls. Perpetual groove - three weeks is a good track.
I even had a nice spiritual MDMA experience listening to the entire TOOL discography.
Old school aphex twin never leads me wrong.

Wow that was insane! Need to remember that one thanks!

Reggae Dancehall for the roll (Vybz Kartel, Mavado, Popcaan, Adonia etc).
And conscious reggae roots for the after glow (Steel Pulse, Luciano, Romain Virgo, Turrus Riley etc)... either that or some nice dub, such as Augustus Pablo.

If you want to go hard listen to this, its so euphoric for me my spine starts tingling, no joke

Bob/Damian Marley, Any of their songs with a dubstep remix is a must!
-
also this: http://www.nme.com/nme-video/chase--status---blind-faith-directors-cut---video-exclusive/760676213001
just because the whole video is fucking incredible and amazingly realistic, and i'm sure it'll bring back some super sick memories for some people. Unfortunately i'm to young to be involved with the late 80's early 90's rave scene in the UK, but oh my, i would give my left nut to be able to go to a party like they were in those times. The ones today just don't compare.. :-[

Chilled out smooth jazz man. Fuck techno, mandy always relaxes me too much

Depending on the motavation ...
For dancing and moving dubstep, liquid drum and bass and all steps like music. Psychedelic goa too is very energic. The very good mastering in general make those kind of music in the frequencies something very joyful.
For enjoying the effects more couchy, funk music, chillstep, glitchstep are very cool and lovely tunes can be found easily.

Hi,
When I am rolling I really enjoy Trentemoller ("Into the great wide yonder" or "The last resort"), Paul Kalkbrenner, Nicolas Jaar, or any other good progressive deep house / minimal techno music.

I really like electro house (and anything that tastes a little like it), with all it's unpredictable little nifty details.
Can recommend The M Machine.

The Weeknd - The Zone.. Trust.

I usually enjoy (Liquid) Dubstep, (Liquid) Drum&Bass and similar electronic music, especially when stoned or on nitrous but those genres don't do the trick for me when I'm on methylone. But Power Metal drives me absolutely fucking batshit insane:

Some electronic/dubstep music gives me a headache when I'm rolling or high; Skrillex type stuff really annoys me mostly. It's too messy.

What recently blew my mind is 'Max Cooper - Symphonica', minimal at its best.
Also when the fun begins 'Trentemoeller - Take me into your skin' is just unbelievable to come up to.
In general there are so many awesome minimal artists, if anybody has some recommendations, feel free to tell me!
-
Lol this is well addictive, even though it's a bit blah. I like the music more than the lyrics - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MfXl5JDfqcI

Download Pete tong - essential mix 2011 its GREAT mostly house. My DNB head friends LOVED that, and I do too. He's basically the guy that brought house music to Europe, he's oldschool.

Yeah this is good mate, the intro is a bit lengthy IMO but the deep bass makes up for it when it gets going. Not entirely sure what I think of the vocals, they are alright but in some places it's a bit much.
-
oh that's bad i have no more E now that i have nice music to listen :(
-
I always prefer vocal EDM. The combination of flying vocal and pumped up beats is addictive and joyous in so many ways when you are rolling. Mix in some non-vocal tracks and you got a playlist that you can DRIVE to (I love driving) or just DANCE. Some of these songs are awesome to watch the sun rise. Just close your eyes and listen to the lyrics, feel the beat, and let the world know that you are happy.
Afrojack & Shermanology - Can't Stop Me
ATB - Could you believe <-- Great driving song
Archie.V - Villo
Bingo Players - Rattle
DJ Sammy - Look for Love (some Spanish DJ remix)
Armin Van Buuren - Broken Tonight
Eva Simons - I Don't Like You <---- my #2 song
Wild One Two
Knife Party - Antidote
Knife Party - Internet Friends (Porter Robinson remix) <---- THIS. BEST. DROP. EVER.
Kaskade ft. Skylar Grey - Room For Happiness
Sebastian Ingrosso ft. Ryan Tedder - Calling (Lose My Mind) <---- my #1 song
Swedish House Mafia - Greyhound
Tim Berg - Seek Bromance
Wolfgang Gartner - Firepower
Wolfgang Gartner - Red Line
Infected Mushroom - Suliman
Mike Candys - Together Again
Mike Candys - One Night in Ibiza
Hardwell - Spaceman
