He's asking for a 250$ MP to BTC exchange... Refuses to use BTC buddy or BTC King.
When he's ready to send the code he'll say, can you send me 7 BTC just so I know you're for real?
Then he will dip and you will never see his MP #.
I realize this isnt the biggest of scams but equated over a couple ten of these and hes got 50-70 coins.
PEOPLE DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!! Dont do any MP over the forums! Just be patient damnit

People, patience seems to be the key to prevent getting scammed. There are too many BitCoin scams on this site. Just be patient and buy them through MtGox, Tradehill, or one of the other legal BitCoin sites. It'll take a while but, you won't get scammed. Patience is key.

Total newbie here, but what's wrong with going to Chase and paying cash, then emailing a photo of the receipt to coin HQ? Takes too much time for some folks, I reckon?

sometrees you need to think security silly/?? Look at the message i sent you about scams and protecting your identity and money. Your welcome

@sometrees- I used bitinstant. I made a cash deposit at a BOA (no ID required) then just called them and they funded the mt gox acct. Nothing illegal or suspicious yet, right? Then I laundered the coins through a wallet then on to SR. Seems pretty safe to me.

Laundering ain't the right word, but that's a pretty safe combination, there. SR is safe enough as it is, but, hey, always erring on the safe side is nice.
