ANYONE?

localbitcoins.com maybe?
-
localbitcoins all the way. It took me a fucking year to jump on board, this after getting scammed by silkroad vendors.

Can't really speak for the US, but localbitcoins is the way to go in Europe.

I recently started using localbitcoins.com
I was pretty hesitant at first just because the whole thing seems...well kinda weird ahaha.. I opted to NOT do the whole meet in person at a cafe thing. And just went with depositing into a bank directly to a seller. I used Cortex. He is AWESOME. The entire process takes about 10 minutes. And i have bitcoins in my wallet. Oh and its WAY more safe an anonymous then bitinstant was.
Its awesome, and you can email the vendors before hand to feel more comfortable. Cortex will even give you his number and you can call him.
Good luck and feel free to message me with any questions.

if you're using the bitcoins to buy stuff online like SR it's sooo much easier just using your bank account and use a site like bitbargain. just make a simple cash account if you dont have one and sort out online banking and if you deposit your cash into your account in the bank then it's deadhandy to get bitcoins.
dont even have to get off the computer!

I saw an article that said people are trading BTC for cash in parks in America look it up take a drive and you can go buy BTC in cash in many places in the US. Wallstreet started in the same way. sorry i cant link the article I search Bitcoin news on google everyday it will keep you up to date.

Another vote for localbitcoin online option.

Camp BX, set up acct with Tormail.org send money order up to 1000 with express mail. Completely anonymous. barely any fees and well below the SR Bitcoin average

Agreed with folks saying localbitcoins.com, it's simple and relatively secure.
Or just know a guy. If you claim you don't own any Bitcoin, they are usually happy to sell you a small amount. Go to a Bitcoin meetup in your area.
