Title: Noob question
Post by: Haulting on August 06, 2013, 10:38 am
Is it ok to change my SR wallet address with coins still in escrow? Am assuming that SR will know my new wallet address and if anything happens I will still get my coins back. (Not saying I think anything will happen) Just curious if it is good practice to change wallet address before receiving the goods.

Let me know if this makes sense.

Bottom line, should change wallet address feature be used with coins still in escrow?

Nah, I don't think it matters.

Probably the best idea would be to never keep coins in your SR wallet except just enough to make the purchase you're working on. Transfer them to a less vulnerable location for storage.

Thanks, Ya I was more worried about covering my trail. I only got spare change in there right meow.
But hey I think from what I have read it is fine to change your wallet address anytime you want as long as there ain't coins in transit... In case anyone reading this was wondering.

Thanks again everyone.

BTW. Read my newbie post on Successful first purchase!
