Title: using "Current Resident" as a name in an address.
Post by: XxWINxX94x23 on July 16, 2012, 05:24 pm
Hello everyone,
Just thinking about the fact that sometimes mail is addressed "Current Resident" here in the USA. Any thoughts or experiences with this? If it has been addressed before, sorry!

It would probably work. Good thinking.  ;D

I've personally never received a package that says "Current Resident" in the actual mail. I've had people walk by my mailbox themselves and drop envelopes in addressed in that manner but nothing was ever actually delivered to me in that way.

I'm not really sure if it would increase suspicion or not. The way I look at it is if a package full of drugs is intercepted with your address on it, somebody is probably going to start asking questions regardless of the name on the label.

Nobody would ever send a package with any goods to "current resident:, it's beyond stupid.
