Any suggestions?

I've never understood staring at a television while the world is melting and changing colors all around me with intense geometric patterns shifting spinning changing sizes. I enjoy exploring the kaleidoscope world around me. When I'm tripping I can't even make out anything on a TV or cell phone screen, it's a big wash of crazy colors. Except when I did 4 hits of good LSD, I could see a TV then. I guess I like to trip hard... What is the point of staring at a television when you're tripping? lol

Hate to sound cliche, but do try The Wizard of Oz with Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon as the soundtrack. Very enjoyable 8)

British Intelligence, great WW2 era spy film set in WWI. There's mad like double-triple spy shit going on and it alludes in subtle and less subtle ways to WW2. Boris Karloff. I feel like it would be really cool and the drugs would add a nice colorful dimension to the black and white. yeah.

Three Days of the Condor (it will insure you never open the door for another mailman ever again).
The Good, The Bad and The Ugly...I don't know why but this one was very memorable on LSD...maybe it is an inherent connection with the desert.
Solaris - not the George Clooney version, the original Russian one. Think of this as the Soviet answer to 2001: A Space Odyssey, which by the way, is another great LSD film.

2001 A space odyssey is THE acid movie

the holy mountain and dead man are essential.

Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory.
Stunningly beautiful on acid. And I don't normally like children's movies. Watch in HD.
-
Anything Pixar or animated. The vivid colors of these animated movies are amazing on LSD. The simple children's stories are funny and easy to follow. But seriously, go outside! A nature trail, the park, hell stand in your back yard. Nothing beats the colors and sounds of nature on LSD.

+1 there are so many things one can do on lsd why waste this precious experience on a movie?

I watched the lorax while on shrooms. Was interesting because while I watched, everything in my peripherals started looking like it was part of the movie and changed colors with each scene. Was spectacular, made me feel like I was a part of the movie.

Maybe you haven't tripped very many times.
Maybe you don't have a lot of acid, so you don't want to 'waste' it on TV.
If you are like me, and trip every weekend, (used to trip every 3 days on acid) there's nothing wrong with occasionally watching TV.
I've done more things than you can imagine on acid.

I've tripped hundreds of times. I trip too hard to focus or actually see what is on a screen whether it be a television, monitor or cell phone.
-
If you can handle 'killing' on acid. Looper fucked with my head hard.
I don't like staring at a screen while tripping though. I'm the outdoors type, but I understand wanting to experience new things while tripping.

I think you people aren't watching the right movies.
LSD and art go together like peas and a pod.
Don't watch mindless TV; watch a movie that has some aesthetic value. Watch Ingmar Bergman's 'Persona', Stanley Kubrick's '2001: A Space Odyssey', etc.
This isn't a waste of acid any more than listening to Bach, looking at a Van Gogh painting, or admiring the beauty of nature while tripping is a waste of acid.
Acid was made for art.
A waste of acid is playing video games or watching reality TV or something.
-
Acid was made for art, nature, and spiritual ecstacy.

I don't think you're understanding me correctly. I cannot actually see what is on a screen. I see mind blowing colors, shapes, designs and moving patterns on everything that I look at. I rarely do acid because I like to take 6+ milligrams and it gets really expensive. I prefer 2C drugs that I can just snort 60mg. Either way, I cannot see what is on a screen.

Trainspotting is quite good on lsd but idk it depends on your taste

Old "classic" movies. Contrary to what most film critics think, I think they generally have outrageous situations and strange acting. Psychedelics highlight that and make them weirder and funnier for me.

well i do not trip every 3rd day out of boredom if that is what you mean by having a lot of acid.
but i can understand where you coming from. the beauty of lsd seems to fade when consumed regularly so i guess there is nothing wrong with spicing it up by watching tv ;D
-
without doubt, hands down the best "acid" movie ever made is the yellow submarine by the Beatles.
the part when they play lucy in the sky with diamonds, watched it 20 odd years ago tripping with friends. amazing.
Alien 3 on the other hand.... i had to leave the room.
-
;) We in Scotland when tripping just go up the hills and chase the haggis :o :P ;) ;)
-
look at pictures or even family photos on your walls on through photo albums (it helps you see many of similar facial features of blood related family and is super trippy) also the "michael Bolton acid trip" video on youtube is pretty cool/funny it doesn't make sense unless you're tripping though!
and who cares if its a stereotype of trip-heads but "Alice in Wonderland"
-
THX 1138. Good luck with that brain fucking.

Hey man,
To an extent I agree with Jack. The world is far more rewarding than the television riding the peak of a good acid trip. That being said there is something to be said for a good movie to get you through parts of a trip. I really, really recommend watching "speed racer" on an awesome tv. Make sure to get blu ray, it'll be worth it. The movie was done by the same guys as the matrix and a few others, so don't let it deceive you into thinking its a children's movie. It most definitely is made to be enjoyed by adults. Have a blast and enjoy!
Best,
Dabdiego

There is a movie called The Lorax?

There is a movie called The Lorax?
Yep, taken from the book of course. Highly recommended. Appropriate enough to be a children's movie, loaded enough with content that makes you think that it is a movie everyone should theoretically enjoy. Very cool animation also.

I saw Life of Pi tripping on 25i, great movie in my opinion, and the effects during some scenes where pretty overwhelming (in a good way)

Here is my list of recommendations. I noticed someone already mentioned The Holy Mountain ;)
Fantastic Planet Trailer (Clearnet) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SgCxCZNkQ9E EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED

Alice (Czech Live action Alice in Wonderland) (Clearnet) :http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bosvfUoO0DU EXTREMELY RECOMMENDED
Many more, but these films should blow most of you away haha

Ahh, I almost forgot.
El Topo
and
NeverEnding Story....but be careful with the Artax/Swamp of Sadness scene. Jesus. I felt like I was being born and dying all at the same time and forced to repeat that cycle until that scene was over. You know what, on second thought, save NeverEnding Story for your sober days.

I second both of those recommendations. El Topo is amazing, and the Neverending Story, That's just classic.

why not? i understand it: its trippy man. feels awesome to lose control. so long as you're not in a pool or anything, in which case you'd drown. :(
