Title: What happens if vendor goes AWOL? and my not sent package is "in transit"

i ordered 50g of hash on Tuesday from a domestic vendor,he puts it "in transit" almost immediately.
i thought nothing about that since we discussed the amount and price over pm in advance while i waited on coins.

on Friday night he sends me a message explaining he has not shipped anything and that he will do it on Monday,wich was not what we agreed on, waiting time changed from 1-2 days to ~8+.    he has gone AWOL since.

Only reason i ordered domestic was the shipping time,i would rather cancel it and order from over-seas with much better prices.


what can i do?  he has in pm admitted that he has not sent anything.   

( if i contact staff should i translate the Swedish pms+send the original text or do they just translate it them-self? ) or maybe just suck it up and wait, i don't like taking up staffs time if there is nothing to do on the matter.

if you heard from on friday im not sure why you would say he's awol it hasnt even been 24 hrs yet but if didnt FE then you should be fine. if it doesnt show up go ahead take it to resolution

I agree with coolkid321, but don't let it go too long. After seven days it should arrive almost anywhere in the same country.

I think he put it in transit so you can't cancel. Not a nice move.
SR support won't do much, they involve when it's been a long time and it goes to resolution.
Only thing you can do now is wait. After and if you get the package give him a bad feedback explaining what happened. That's what I would do. Also give his name on the forum, that's why we have them.

oh im sorry,i meant what if he doesn't come back,just in case so i know. he seemed really down and he hasn't had orders for  like week. if the vendor really goes AWOL. i guess staff would understand and refund me.

i hope everything is alright for the guy, ( he said he was going som personal shit ) i really like to support domestic vendors :) shit happens

i've had this happen to me, vendor marked in transit then went awol never to be heard from again.  I ended up doing a resolution and getting my coins back.  It did not affect my refund rate.

He has been gone for 8days now,finally have the resolution-option,i am hoping for the coins,and most of all i would like my perfect stats to stay that way.

Vendors can cancel orders after they've been placed in transit.  I recommend that you send a message to the vendor asking him to please cancel your order.  It won't hurt to ask, and if he signs in and cancels then it makes everything easier as you don't have to wait for resolution to resolve.
