Title: Dealing with JESAKAI and other Sellers!
Post by: jesakai on August 25, 2011, 09:44 pm
A note to future buyers: Be patient.
Once a package is mailed there is nothing the seller can do. You are buying a product and we are using the fucking mail, if your going to sweat me everyday then buy somewhere else. I was 20 for 20 until I met with a unsatisfied customer. Why are they unsatisfied?
Because the package was late. No apology for bugging the shit out of me everyday,  no mention of how bad ass my product is, and nothing about my stellar packaging,  just griping. Save your griping people and realize that you are doing nothing but purchasing. You did not produce the product, you did not meticulously seal it, you did not take the chance of mailing it; no you just clicked a fucking button and expect shit to happen overnight.  I will not be nice if you message me everyday wondering when i think your package will get there.
If you want express delivery just say so, and I will tell you to fuck off.
I as with most vendors am doing this out of the kindness of my heart, and making peanuts vs.  risk.  If a seller has a 100 rating dont fuck him because your package was late, and put irrelevant things in a review.  Was the product good?  Did it get there?  Was it packaged well?  That is it, save the rest.
peace

"I as with most vendors am doing this out of the kindness of my heart, and making peanuts vs. risk."
Really? No really? Seriously, I'd like an answer. You are doing this for the wrong reasons then. In my opinion. Profit is what it is all about. A good person you may be. A Fbomb GREAT PRODUCTS you definitely have. They are good!!! But MOST VENDORS, myself included, are only here for one reason. MAKE MONEY! Ask envious. He's back. Not because he is an HONEST, STAND UP, righteous, person with kindness in his heart. Which he is and surely has. No doubt. But for one pure reason. Pssst. It's all about the money.

I commend you on your delicious products. I LOVE the brownies!!! +1. And everything else I read in your post I agree with. You have GREAT POINTS. Buyers tend to expect "instant gratification." Ridiculous. And the disregard for the packaging and FLAVOR of the products is unacceptable. You definitely got stuck with a problem buyer. I am confident that a slight ding from an a*hole won't matter. I know I will be back!!! AGAIN and AGAIN!!! So will the other 18 people + will also be back.

Buyers... Please be considerate after your purchase and when leaving feedback be honest and really put some thought into it. Consider everything. Thanks.

Nice for the vendors to pull the wagons in a circle.

You all make good points.

So how many drug deals you make in person that you gave the money to the dealer, and waited?
How that work out for you?

Thats why they are nervous.

Maybe will should add this to the Buyers FAQ, give the seller a week or so before you start freakin.

OK I got a question for you 3.
Lets say, I have a vendor who communicated well.
It's been almost 3 weeks.
Stuff should have shipped in 5 days (so the vendor says)
He warns you "it's light" before you even get it. Promises $5 back.
Product never arrives.
He claims to ship again.
Product never arrives.
Product talks, bullshit walks.

How would you rate yourself, or this vendor?  Honestly.

I would think 1 out of 5, maybe 2 out of 5.

What say YOU.

@Unwiz
Not to be difficult or anything, but those are two completely different scenarios.

Jesakai is complaining about buyers who order something, knowing it's coming regular first class mail, then calling every day to ask where the package is.  J is simply asking that buyers start remembering this isn't a Walmart they are ordering from.  First class mail can take time, even when the package is only going a few hundred miles.

Show some patience, don't start bitching to your seller until at least a few days after the package can reasonably be considered late.  Then be polite.  Being polite never killed anyone.

Your scenario has warning signs all through it.  Really late package.  Say's they resent, doesn't arrive.  A real seller would have worked out something way before it got that far, they aren't going to resend and resend your product.

That vendor deserves the 1 out of 5 and a post on the boards to let other buyers know something isn't right with the seller (also to maybe allow the seller to make things right, once they realize people are going to be reading your post and probably not order from them anymore).

Unless the package was coming from somewhere deep in the EU, most people would consider a package taking 3 weeks a lost cause and do a resolve and refund.

If he's got a decent rep, and he gave you your money back, there's no reason to ding his score, just put all that information in your review and leave him a 5.

If he's got a history of that shit, or if you lost money, release the firing squad.

Funny thing, the one downside to selling on SR is you are in some cases selling to drug addicts  8)

On the other hand, I did have Jesakai's brownies, I did all 4 and was basically tripping, pretty crazy.

I wanted to buy more today but saw he was out, and also saw he was dealing with a problem buyer today. I wanted to message him just to settle him down, but decided against it.

I am a seller too. See the thing is Jesa's got a really good thing going and shouldn't for any reason stop. The most important thing on Silk is communication, if you are having dialogue with the buyer, it THEORETICALLY should settle them down.

Its when you stop communicating *cough* smokeourbowls *cough* where people feel rightly disrespected.

Don't let this stuff bother you and keep baking  8)

It's a two way street, and double edge sword.
Jerks, impatient people, and scammers.

I agree with everything being said so far.
My example will be dealt with.
After reading a few posts, one caught me, from DA, it's called a DCN, so the vendor knows if the package arrived or not.
That is if he is any good.
A few bitcoins to learn a lesson.  No different in the streets.
