It wasn't a lot but he def had some positive feedback.  I wonder if it was all a scam.  I didn't make an order!

No, it is not a glitch. Vendors with no vendor's page have this, instead of results, you will be redirected to message them.

How does a vendor get suspended?  There is one that was here for 4 days and now the account does the same, click on name and instead of profile takes me to send message.

Suspended or banned? Typically the reasons for a vendor to be banned will be either scamming or threatening buyers. The other reason is that a vendor who has gone rogue has already pulled a scam, and they are morphing to new buyer identity, along with a new vending acc./ and deleting the old one in the process.

In either of these cases, when you click on a name you will be directed to compose a message instead of loading the vendor's page.

I also ordered from the new vendor was it StringPlowCheese?  His profile sounded too good to be true, said if you order by 3pm and not in transit that day...full refund and he would send the order also.   I thought what the heck on a small order (also do this with vendors I have never used before and none or very little feedback),  Anyway a few feedback's came in while my order was processing...since I ordered late Friday...I didint really expect it to be mailed on Sat , although he could have.  So I was looking for the in transit status to be up on Monday.....NO  I sent him a message that is still not read and on Tuesday his account had not been seen by him for 2 days..... hmmmm I then was counting down the hours until I could cancel order so that he would not mark in transit.....The Good News I did not FE and cancelled and got my money back  :)

I have been reading a lot of things on the forums and I think he got banned due to selling counterfeit money.  Some even said it could be LE trying to see if anyone would order.  I was not buying money...something else...but still hope he was just being stupid and not ulterior motives.  Hmmm....

Any thoughts?

If you didn't FE then you'll probably be eligible to get a 100% refund in this case.
If you're lucky then SR might also remove the refund rate if it's obvious that you've been scammed.

thankfully I did not FE...guess I need to stop buying from newbies with great deals though :/

Its not always because a vendor is a scammer or banned!!!

We vendors can put our account on "vacation" mode or "stealth" mode - both remove us from the public eye (although I believe on stealth mode your vendor page still shows but I'm not 100% on this).  However, if your in vacation mode it goes straight to a message- hence you are on vacation. :) On stealth mode- buyers who have saved the url to your item can still buy as you are still up and running yet only for your current client base.
