My Idea is this:
I will offer my professional consulting to you on the committing of any and all crimes, to help you pull it off, not get caught, and even use my contacts to give you a helping hand. This is the service: to use my mind and possibly resources to help you commit crimes. Would you pay for this?
You can gauge interest but vending products on Silk Road is for Vendors.
The forums are a companion site with Silk Road Marketplace and if you don't sell through Silk Road and it's escrow system then your products have no reason to be in this section.
If you don't plan to get a vendor account then dont bother gauging interest.
Only vendors a can offer products in the Products Offered section.

I am gauging interest for this product, which has been stipulated as perfectly allowed as long as the poster is not offering a product but merely suggesting the future selling of one as an SR seller. I have every intention of doing this, but I would like to verify I will be able to monetize this. Therefore, please tell me what you think of a service like this and I can formulate an opinion on whether or not to carry it out.
Thank you.

This is what I'm doing. I used to study engineering. When they screwed me over I quit and investigated the possibilities of becoming a Silk Road vendor. I really dove into it and I studied security for months (I found out that the subject interests me).
Maybe you'll see some offerings from me in the future, but for now I try to help the revolution along by advising people on security. Newbies and buyers for free, vendors for a small fee. It's fun and sometimes you'll make a BTC or two.
So it is in demand, it's fun to do, and people are grateful when you help them.
If you are interested, maybe we can make this a joint effort and start a security consultant group, where we have people with experience in different fields.

This type of service is a REAL WORLD type of service, so it could potentially preform very poorly here. Trust and payment being the main 'issue'. With that said, I PM'd you for some consulting. :)
