I feel relatively secure about using TOR, and the SR. I am however, worried about end security issues, like keylogging malware.
My question is: Does TOR counter any keylogging? If so, that's f-ing awesome.
If not- does anyone have a good, freeware software to counter any malicious key logging programs?
Oh and bonus points for a karma bump:
If I have BTC in my SR wallet, and want to switch my SR wallet address, will I lose that BTC?
Many thanks.

Tor does not help with key loggers. It cant, a key logger would be on your computer. You could use a on screen keyboard.

The best answer is currently "use Tails", but how to use it depends on how worried you are.
If you're worried about remote attacks over your Tor browser then you should use Tails. I'm typing this from a virtual machine running Tails, there is no way for an attacker to write anything to my disk drive, but if someone compromises my main computer then my Tor keypresses can be logged.
If you're worried about remote attacks on your main operating system then you should use Tails on a bootable CD or USB drive. If you get a USB3 drive then it will actually boot quite quickly, probably faster than Windows anyway.
If you're worried about a hardware keylogger being installed by an adversary who has physical access to your machine then you should get hold of a small laptop that can be easily hidden, install Tails to USB and configure your WiFi to have the same MAC address as your real laptop. If you boot both into Tails at the same time but never enable WiFi on your main computer, you can type emails to your elderly grandmother on the decoy while surfing SR on the hidden machine and someone sat outside in a van won't be able to tell what's going on.

Tails also has a software keyboard available, so you can click the keys with a mouse.
And if there's a guy in a van outside your house, you have problems that a second laptop isn't going to fix.
