Bitcoin-otc is an IRC channel offered on Frenode. Individuals there can buy and sell bitcoins peer-to-peer using a pgp-verified web of trust. I was just wondering if it would be possible for illicit drug commerce to be conducted in a darknet irc channel in the same way that bitcoins are traded on bitcoin-otc. I know that irc channels can be accessed through tor, but would it be possible for an irc channel to be operated as some kind of tor hidden service? Assuming it could exist, would it be very vulnerable to any kind of malicious interference such as DOS attacks? Just wondering.
