Title: Who else is missing Pharmville very much?
Post by: BenJesuit on March 28, 2012, 02:13 pm
Miss those guys very much. Silk Road just isn't the same without them.

They were excellent with my orders. Top notch.

Sigh... I hope they return sooner rather than later.

I never saw the hype from pharmville....I ordered a time or two but it was no better/faster than any other vendor who has his shit together.

The day before they closed i was in the process of getting some BTC to place an order.  I log in the next day, BTC in my account, go to place the order and find no listings! i just laughed cause that's the kind of luck i have!

but yea, it's been what? 2 weeks? seems longer....

They were my first order, and the price was right. The experience was great for a first time SR user for certain. BUT, I am proud of some of the other vendors that have stepped up to the plate. The hypocrisy of Koala calling people "junkies" in a drug forum tells me someone might have been hit by daddy a few too many times. It's okay, you don't have to get on here to vent anymore. We know you need attention, and we feel sorry for you.

LOL. I have to hand it to you. That was pretty funny. Even funnier when I read your seller page and your rebuttal about your... prices.

Nicely done. ;)

I was lucky enough to get one of the last orders they shipped out. The biggest reason I liked to use them was 48 hour receipt of goods. They are within a couple of hours of here.

Their prices were good by SR standards. I'll go without pills before I give someone $15-20 for a 10mg hydrocodone. I wish everyone else here could do the same and watch the prices drop.

Oh well.

Any word on a comeback?

I was at first, but the way they handled the most recent vacation and the air of dickery about it made me kinda unsure if I wanted to really buy from them again.  Not going into any details really, just left tasting sour.

I'm still confused why one guy didn't do this "re-boot" the weeks that his associate was off handling family matters.

No, no word on a comeback yet. Nothing on their seller page to provide a clue either.

But I know what you mean about their quick ship and prices. I especially loved their overnight shipping option when they had it. That was great for Friday or Saturday delivery or anytime really. But it was a security risk for them. I get that.

There are a few new sellers with good prices for Oxys. I haven't bought from anyone else yet. I'm sort of a loyalist. Feels like cheating. Silly I know. But that's how I roll. Can't help myself. But you should check out some of the new listings. A few weeks ago, there was a guy up in Canada who had excellent prices. But his stock sold out quickly and he hasn't re-upped since. Another guy with good prices feel sick a while ago and hasn't relisted yet. I wish I could remember the names of these people. I hadn't even become a "fan" so I could look them up. Sorry, my bad.

I think you're referring to NurseJackie?

I don't have any loyalty to any vendor!  :D  I used Pharmville when they first started up, then went through 6-8 others when they had something worth buying and eventually back to Pharmville.

My temporary opiate hiatus will be over as soon as my package from Toyotaman arrives this week. I've never tried dihydrocodeine, but with my lowered tolerance and what I've read, I should be good to go. He gave me a helluva deal, so it was worth experimenting. Have you ever tried them?

Personally, as a customer, yeah.

Commercially, not at all. I love it when you just are about to get used to something and then......BOOM! It allowed me to take a look at vendors I probably never would have while they are on hiatus. Just a reminder to ALWAYS keep your options open.

Nothing personal, just business.
i dont miss them. ;)
This was funny as SH!T! ;D

I think PharmVille will probably be fairly relieved to have some breathing room, and the fact that we're branching out to other buyers may actually improve the competitiveness of the pricing long term. As vendors get used to a certain amount of buyers, and then Pharmville re-enters the market (potentially), other vendors will have to adjust to compete with Pharmville's pricing if they want to keep their new customer base. On the other side of the coin, I don't envy the position of the vendors if and when Pharmville makes a resurgence.

This is all obviously just a theory, and as we all know, SR can be a volatile place.

I show loyalty mainly because I want my shit to show up and within a reasonable time.  If that means I pay Vic a few extra bucks a pill its worth it because I know he will do it right.  I feel the same about most seasoned vets - don't get me wrong I have had solid goes with some new people as well.  I think loyalty goes further than people think, even in this business.

I just took a gander at the latest of Pharmville's feedback.

I cannot call it one way or another, but in relationship to the title of this thread, I believe there are customers that aren't "missing Pharmville very much".

I myself do actually wonder about the status of their return.

Isn't it possible that some of these recent reviews grew out of resentment for the fact that Pharmville bugged out, and did so with relatively poor timing for some buyers? I don't think blasting their name in their feedback section will bring them back any quicker, but perhaps these were just a few that slipped through the cracks at the very end of PV's last stint on SR.

Yeah, that latest feedback are those at the end of the bugout. They had PGP issues and a computer went down. I forget exactly how it went. But that's part of the reason Alex decided that security had to be redone.

They were likely new customers who may have had another issue like an incorrect addy or PGP error. As another possibility. I feel for them who got bad service at the very end. But when Pharmville returns, they be back up to snuff. And they will likely make those guys whole.

Alex and Ben are the good guys on here.

Well, to be fair, PV did NOT clean up all of the loose ends before they left. You're seeing the people who never got their issues resolved finally have the resolution center end things for them.

For example, I'm still waiting on resolution for some percocets they forgot to include in my valium order. They sent the valium fine, they just didn't include the percs I ordered.

Ok, I messaged them about it. That message remains unread 20 days later. I followed up; that message remains unread 14 days later.

I submitted a 14 day extension to the resolution center, which SR accepted on their behalf because they ignored the resolution (they did in fact log in one day during the period in question). In fact, I see PV was active today.

I'm not angry or anything, it's only $40. I like to have percocets around in case I feel like an opiate buzz, but I don't regularly take them, so I'm not hard up.

But the reality is, they left a few people hanging. And there are consequences for that, which are being seen now. I do hope they come back, as they provided a great service. Perhaps they should go stealth if they come back.

That's a shitty turn for you regardless of your need for the product my friend, I hope it gets resolved soon. It will be interesting to see the new PV in action.

I'm sorry Ben I love these guys too, but you just cant reject there latest reviews as buyers making mistakes. They really need to make this good, unless like PTP they just got out why they were ahead> Hope not! DPR just messaged me and said and I quote There ARE NO TRUSTED Sellers on SR...so there you have it. Thats what were left with? Never trust anyone everyone is out to get you in the end....nice

I didn't reject the latest reviews. They are out in the open plain as day. I even hoped that they would make those guys who got bad service, whole again. Nor did I "blame" the buyers, per se. Just listed it as another alternative. But, as my posts starts, I blamed PV on having technical issues.

Not sure how you missed that, but it's all good.

As for DPR telling you not trust anyone... OK. But that's why the escrow system is in place. I always use it and would never finalize early. This way, I can trust a vendor in as much as is possible in an anonymous environment. If they show themselves to be good, until they do otherwise, I'll consider them good. The only way I'd lose money here is if between the time of purchase and resolution, the value of bitcoins declines. ;)

That and if my account ever got hacked. But he who steals my purse, steals trash. As I don't keep bitcoins of any appreciable worth in my SR account. I load it on day of the buy and use it up on that day. Even if it means seeking alternative vendors or products to try.

I think we want the same thing, for them to make good like anyone else. As far as PTP I had built that trust with him:( Would you FE early if PV asked nicely (bet you would) I just got caught up in the scam. I wish there wasn't a FE option. I just hope its just a vacation there on? There's not so many vetted sellers these days BTW PTP sent product! it was just bunk:( trusted seller! who knew?....bummer huh.....peace. long live SR

If Pharmville (Alex or Ben) asked me to finalize early, I would think someone hacked their account or something is seriously wrong. It wouldn't make sense. Especially since they know I always finalize of day of delivery. If I did some sort of special order, I'd do a good faith 50/50. Half up front, half on delivery. That's as far as I would go.

When a vendor asks an established buyer to finalize early, it means to me that they don't have the product and must use buyer money to go and get it. I can't waste time with that sort of seller. All kinds of things can go wrong. And if it's a new seller asking for FE? That insults me. My scam radar flashes bright red.

PTP were great guys to me, and I even won that lotto for free 40valiums.  Got it to me in 3 days and was just so nice every transaction.  Maybe when they got their computers stolen they were actually busted by LE and were just getting as many buyer's addresses to work with them.  Or maybe they didn't intentionally try to scam just found out they got too much fake shit and wanted to go out with a bang.  Im gonna go with the latter.
