There are a handful of people who are legally sent cannabis directly from the Federal government since they're in a program called Compassionate Use Protocol, developed in the 1980s. That's right, the US government grows cannabis in a university laboratory, rolls them into joins, and sends them to four patients.
On March 17 the lawyer of one of these patients mailed three cartons via next-day delivery for $120. The lawyer made a mistake with one of the digits in the ZIP code so the delivery was incorrectly routed to the wrong post office. What happened next you ask? It got lost.
The lawyer even called up the USPS are said "Hey, I mailed pot and it's gone missing, please find it for me." Even though there was tracking on the shipment, and a lawyer openly saying that there's a large quantity of cannabis lost in the mail, THEY STILL CAN'T FIND IT.
So next time you're feeling paranoid about the USPS confiscating your order, just read this news article and laugh.

Alot of USPS employees are anti-drug and he was foolish for mentioning the contents of the package regardless. Pot has a big stigma attached to it and no good will ever come when you tell a post office employee you mailed drugs, legal or not.

A lot of USPS employees are anti drug? What information are you getting this from? Perhaps BUMBLEFUCK? Nonsense! I can't imagine half of those lazy fucks not strung out on something after lunch break ::)

if they were so blatant about it im sure it wasnt packaged well...i would bet money that it was stolen by a postal worker

Most of society is anti-drug so it would be a safe bet to assume that its more likely that a USPS employee is anti-drug than pro-drug. Plus if you work for the USPS you are subject to drug tests. Do you think most people support drug use or something lol? Where are you getting your information?

I'd like to find a tin of 300 joints in my mail one day. I'd throw a party. But honestly, how did the lawyer know he entered the wrong zip? if he has a copy of his error, then they know exactly where it went.
Postal workers other than the low wage mail-chuckers are typically anti drug, ignorant, proud of their job types who will die in the post office and request to be buried in a jumbo size priority box. And those are the ones who make the decisions.

One lucky mailman probably noticed and took it for himself.
