Title: Speeding up TOR

Is there any way to make TOR faster? would running it on better rig make it quicker?

Sure, don't you know? The better the CPU, the faster your DL speeds are. ;)

haha just thought i would ask im not an expert. so no way at all to speed it up?

Click "use a new identity" until you get connected to a fast relay/connection. Works for me.

sr is pretty fast already. do you use tor for much else?

only for SR mostly. I randomly click "use a new identity" all the time but it never seems to speed up

Add this to the end of your torrc file

I don't think it works too well with the Bundles.

I use tor stand alone and installed torbutton in firefox. I usually get DSL speed while going through SilkRoad.

yeah ive just got the bundle from torproject.org.
Ive got closer to Dial-Up speed
