Excuse my poor chemistry skills, but I have a question I am sure someone here may be able to answer. I know Adderall is a mix of amphetamine salts, but how is it different from street speed? Is it just a matter of pharmacy grade versus underground lab? Can anyone with experience comment on the difference in properties and experience between the two drugs?
My reason to ask is because I use adderall to handle a massive workload in grad school. Due to price I am considering merely purchasing speed and trying to use that to study. My friend who used to make meth says this is a bad idea, as I will be high but not as productive.
I appreciate any responses.

Adderal is a mix of 25% Levoamphetamine + 75% Dextroamphetamine whereas (European) Street Speed is composed of 50% Levo- and 50% Dextroamphetamine.
Levoamphetamine is responsible for most of the physiological effects (dilated pupils, grinding your teeth, ...) also it releases mainly Noradrenaline.
Dextroamphetamine is responsible for most of the psychological effects (concentration, energy, confidence, ...) and releases mainly Dopamine.
so more dexamph=more fun, less side effects.
In your case i would say stay with the Adderall.
Hope i could help you.
