Title: a message to vendors about tracking
Post by: Zypur on May 24, 2012, 08:00 am
hey people well i was just thinking because im in a situation where a vendor just reshipped a package to me because its been about a week since he shipped it and nothing showed up, he actually offered to reship it and i was fine with waiting a while longer for it to show, but like, for legit vendors and buyers how much more trouble is it to use tracking? cause personally id rather pay a couple dollars more to be able to know that a package arrived or did not for whatever reason, just seems like it would be a lot better for both legit vendors and buyers so they know neither the vendor or buyer can scam with saying it was shipped but never arrived. cause if i dont get a package i know that if they reship it would come out of their pockets, so id feel bad telling a vendor it never showed and asking for a reship knowing that they dont know if it actually did arrive or not and seeing that if someone actually wanted to they could easily get double the drugs for the price by saying it didnt arrive.

sorry im kinda coming down on mdma haha

The reason why tracking isn't favourable is because it decreases your deniability and it gets handled more and has more chance of being searched.

Try telling this to the people pounding away at the keyboard using DCNs as tracking numbers six times a day...

Using Delivery Confirmation (which isn't tracking, but often is treated as such), but not disclosing the number to the customer, seems like a good way to not hurt your deniability.  If you never check the DCN yourself unless the customer claims it's not delivered (where you can check it once, anonymously), it can't be linked back to you.

I'm pretty sure DCN'd packages aren't handled any extra, either; they are supposed to be scanned with the delivery person's handheld doohickey upon delivery, but they are sometimes scanned along the way during processing.  I'm not sure why they get scanned at intermediary points only some of the time, maybe some of the handlers really like to use the scanner?  Regardless, I don't think there's anything to suggest they get that much extra scrutiny, so a well-packed pack should typically get through unless a dog is at work.

Of course, this is all regarding the US postal system, which isn't quite as applicable to you and many others here.  Do many other countries have a service equivalent to Delivery Confirmation?

I think it looks not good but blends well with ebay type sellers but it isn't always bad to make a new niche if it gives a good enough return
