Can anyone tell me what FE means please!!

It means Finalize Early. You should always, always, always avoid this. Finalizing your order is where you release the funds to the vendor from escrow when you receive your order in the mail and everything is as it should be. Finalizing early means you're sending them the money before you've got the product, and you never know for sure that the product is really on its way. If you don't finalize early, you will be able to resolve your issue with customer support if you don't get your order or something's amiss. If you do FE, it's all your fault and you're just fucked if the vendor doesn't send it or gets something wrong.

Well said.  How long does a transaction have to take before auto finalize?  I would normally look this up, but need some posts to get past 50.

I think it's like 17 days? I'm not positive, I think that's right though.

I think the fairness of a market like this depends on people using the escrow system responsibly, and avoiding FE- i can think of several big problems recently w/ vendors establishing a good rep then requiring FE and disappearing- never FE- there are plenty of good vendors who dont FE to work with- but if someone Fe's and loses their money, well TFB
