I am looking at opening a vendor account but while I am getting that going I thought I would ask a couple of questions.
1) I am looking at selling some digital media items, and it seems in the past as a customer vendors I bought from have sales automated to a certain degree. Meaning that after a purchase I would get an email with a weblink and a user name and password. I want to be able to supply quick access to the product as well so at a minimum it would be nice to get an alert that I have a new order or email. I can't imagine people sit all day refreshing their inbox looking for orders. Since I am not shipping hard good, speed of the transaction would be important. An advice out there on this topic?
2) In addition I am curious about the SR bond required to be a vendor. I am wondering if you aren't getting an sales, so you haven't met the requirements to get your bond back, would you get it back if you decide to close your vendor account?
