Hi everyone. New guy here.
I'm a little confused about something and hopefully you guys can clear this up for me. And yes I did search the forums several times, but either no one else has asked this question (which means they're probably smarter than I am lol) or I just didn't search for the right key words to find the answer.
The question is, how do the prices read here? What I mean is this: I saw a solid state drive for ฿8.57. Now the way I'm reading this is like I would if it were US Dollars. So if it were $8.57USD it would read eight dollars and fifty seven cents right? So is that like eight bitcoin dollars and fifty seven bitcents? Because at the current market value for 857BTC (100Bitcoin cents in 1 Bitcoin dollar? lol) that would be upwards of $5500USD. Doesn't make sense to me at all.
What I'm guessing, is that the whole number amount is before the decimal point. So it would read eight point five seven Bitcoins, or just over eight and one half Bitcoins. At current market value that would be about $53.99USD, which would be extremely reasonable for an SSD.
Please tell me that the latter of the two options is the correct one. I can't imagine that the first one is even plausible.
So hi to everyone and thanks in advance for your responses.

WOW....
While in Silk Road click on settings, then towards the bottom of the page, click display prices in US dollars. Next click update profile.
Now here is the important part. Take 3 more bong hits, and go shopping.
