I was going to order from him, but not much recent feedback and couldnt find any reviews on the forums. Anyone have experience, weed or otherwise?
-
I'm also wondering the same thing.
I placed an order with him and he said he would have it shipped out this morning. 8 hours later he sends me another message saying that he "spilled pop on the labels" and wanted me to reconfirm my address.
I'll let you guys know how it goes.
-
thanks for the update, keep us updated!

I'm not into crack rock but this dude's name about made me spew iced tea all over my keyboard..
A crack dealer online named "roscochicken"? AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
-
Ordered a gram of hard last Thursday. Had to FE. Rosco said he shipped last Friday morning. Package should arrive tomorrow. I will update whether or not the product shows up.
-
Asked me to finalize early on an ounce of mids even though I have 40+ purchases and zero returns :-\
I'm asking him whether he can ship w/o FE'ing or whether he can cancel my order, I see he is getting my messages but not replying, which is frustrating.
Good luck with this one guys.
-
Order from me, skips the hassle and I have FIRE rock in right now.
-
Finally talked to Roscoe... Surprisingly enough, he agreed to ship without finalizing early. Maybe I cast my judgement too soon?
I'll update in a few days once I receive. If it's even halfway decent quality I'd love to get more, gotta love cheap weed.
-
My package did not arrive today as it should have. Giving him today to tell me why.
Looks like others aren't getting what they ordered either. His rating has plummeted.
Will return to forums when it has been resolved. Probably not buying from him again unless we can come to some kind of agreement.

I have been lurking on SR for almost a month now. Just seeing how things work, you know, "the basics". I literally just PM'd this guy yesterday about wanting to order from him, as a first time buyer. He responded to me in under 1 hour! The weird thing is he says in his listings that his shipping to Canada is $15 and everywhere else is $20. That leads me to believe hes in Canada, right! Although in this PM I received, shipping is free and he states that hes located in the US. I reply to his PM (10 hours later) asking if he can explain why his feedback dropped from 80 something to 61 and if he could point me to some forum posts about himself. It has been 16+ hours since that PM to him and obviously nothing has been sent back, judging by EVERY post I just read about RoscoChicken. I do not think he will be my first buy, which sucks because both the things he allegedly has aren't too common here on SR. Figured I'd throw my 2 cents out there. Good luck all who are suffering his wrath.

Guys, seriously, if a brand new vendor like this asks for an Early Finalize, you need to report it to SR, because they have strict rules against new vendors asking for FE. I think you need something like 50 transactions and a month of history before you're allowed to ask for early finalization.

That's quite interesting to know. Just so one knows what should raise red flags. So what exactly does a seller with under 50 transactions do? They just have to front the product for at least the first 50 transactions! I guess not, huh. People are already on the track of learning that they were just robbed. It's almost easier than stealing candy from a baby. Things like this only make it easier for the very high rated vendors to monopolize. I mean why would any buyer want to take an extremely high risk when the other option is an extremely low risk? I'm still trying to get the hang of things around here but it seems that you need to stick with people that have more than good feedback but also good forum posts backing them up. I seem to be learning that the feedback can be manipulated...at least a little bit. It just sucks because IMHO i feel that most if not all prices are quite steep. Rosco's prices were at least semi-close to normal. I understand paying for convenience but damn it's like buying coke at a movie theater.

Never going to FE again for anyone. The one time i DO Finalize Early, I get shafted. -_- But yeah, If i had any advice for you, It would be to spend the extra coin to buy from a trusted seller. An extra 30 bucks or so is worth the peace of mind of being certain you will receive your product from a trusted seller.
-
Trusted sellers, here I come...I just hope that some of them lower their prices after you've dealt with them a few times! Cocaine on here is A LOT of money. Rosco, your outta box. We can see you!

He burned me with a bogus tracking number. Stay clear of this ASSHAT. Here's my story for anyone researching this vendor.

Again, stay clear. I've got 3 requests into SR support about this guy since the begining of the week and they too have failed to repond.
I figure he's gotten away with about a grand from the 6 listings he's got. he likes to read his mail but no balls to respond cause I've been poking him all week just for fun now.
They need to ban this guy.

SR seems to be acting really slowly on scammers lately. They have no incentive to stop them quickly , because they get paid either way.
Hell, SR gets paid *more* when the scammers operate, due to the volume of transactions thru a scammer, the individual transaction size for a scammer, etc.
Not surprising... Nothing will change unless the community *demands* that SR give up all commissions earned from transactions with scammers. Otherwise they have zero incentive to stop the scamming. Right now, they have incentive to support the scamming!
You'd think hard core libertarians like DPR and mods would understand the concept of incentives. How about SR put up some incentives for themselves to crack down on scammers, rather than to cooperate with them in taking customers money?

Just popping in. Nothing yet.
-
I think the real question is does he just sell chicken, or are there waffles too?

Write it off bud.
ROSCOCHICKEN has left the building.

I know...
Here's to hoping that Rosco got hit by a car and that's why he hasn't sent out his orders...
Or just got hit by a car...
Or hit for that matter...

I learned with T-Man, you can't go with tenure and positive feedback, you never know when someone going over to the darkside. There are vendors here that don't require FE even for newbies, stick with them at first and NEVER FE (I know I won't again, not worth it, just go elsewhere).

I'm not going to FE early ever again that's for sure.
As you said its just not worth it. The seller already has SR to protect them while in escrow so why give up what little protection you have in escrow yourself. Defeats the whole point of the system. Just not much in the way of options when it comes to cheap shwag around here.
