Title: Priority shipping question
Post by: jim765676 on July 09, 2012, 02:54 pm
Do you have to sign for priority shipping? Is it just faster than regular shipping?

USPS Priority does NOT have to be signed for.

Delivery Confirmation (which is an add on service to Priority) does NOT have to be signed for either.

Only time I THINK you have to sign is if the mail is "certified".... there may be other conditions, but nothing regarding priority.

Priority is just faster. AVG 3 days coast to coast.

Just wanted to add, I think this is only true for domestic priority.  If you get priority sent from Canada you will need to sign no matter what.

YES! I' am sorry I am US Domestic and I always forget about folks shipping to other countries.

You would have to sign, not for Priority, but for Customs. I believe anyway.

No you don't have to sign for priority from US ---> Canada. At least, that has been my experience.
