I made a transfer through Bitinstant this morning right before they went down. Now I'm getting the message on their website saying that they are down for "site revisions". If this was true why wouldn't they have had a warning up to people trying to make transfers? Now I have 400 just hanging out in limbo. I tried calling the number and got some bullshit message. The site says they're going to be down until after the weekend and e-mails won't even go through.
So annoyed.

They did put a warning, it is most likely down atm, to enable the btc to addy and email option. Patients my friend.

I was going to use bitinstant today but by the time I checked it this morning, the site was down. It was just a blank page, nothing was coming up. Then they put up that message about the site being down for the weekend. I successfully used ziggat, which is slower than bitinstant but still legit (they accept moneygram and western union). So if you have money left to spend, I'd try them.

Bitinstant is alot more expensive than bitfloor or bitstamp, might as well give them a try.
