No. Never read the book so I'm not sure how different the ending is, but the movie did not leave any room for a logical sequel.

Excuse me,

What is the first rule of fight club?

Better delete this thread before Tyler finds it.

No need in my opinion. A sequel can only disappoint. You also have to remember the unique time in history this movie reflects on. You can make a movie like fight club for 2013, just don't copy it and don't call if Fight Club 2.

The film (based on a single book, mind you) was fine by itself. Why would they make a sequel?

It's stuff like this that really bugs me. Like how they're developing a Kill Bill vol. 3 and 4.

There was no room in the ending of the book or of the movie for a sequel... and any attempt at one would be just terrible.

lol.

I only read the first book, was there a second? If there was no second book, there's no reason to do this. It's not going to have the same calibur writing, it's going to be high budget, low quality shit.

I'd be a little interested in a remake though. :) Just to see a new take on it, though Norton was so incredibly perfect it can't be topped.

There was no second book, BUT some other books by Chuck Palahniuk have great potential to become movies.

Sequels = Fail, 9 times out of 10, or more.
