Title: Just a quick newbie question!
Post by: anonigel11 on November 25, 2012, 11:38 pm
Hey guys, I've read the stickies and also the SR wiki but I just wanna double check something! On SR on my account I've got a Bitcoin address, if I were to buy Bitcoins from someone on Localbitcoins and put the address from my SR account onto there will it get transferred directly into my account? It may sound like a stupid question but it's alot of money and I want to make sure beforehand, thanks for anyone who answers.

Yes, if you gave them the bitcoin address that is on your SR account it will be deposited directly into the SR account. But it will take about an hour or so as the bitcoins are being tumbled before being accepted. Also, if you want to be cautious it would be best to get a wallet or something. That way you can shuffle the bitcoins some more before actually sending it into the SR account.

Another quick question, I'm about to make an order and I'll be using PGP but when I click confirm it says I need to enter name and address in that little box, I can't leave it blank. Should I put the encrypted message from PGP here? Again sorry for the stupid question I just want to be certain.
