Title: One final question (I promise)
Post by: Septimus W Smith on May 21, 2013, 02:43 pm
I'm almost there. I've got coins in my SR account, I've got the basics of pgp down and I'm familiar with the standard buyer security precautions but I've got one last question before I make my first purchase.

Is it imperative that the email linked to my pgp address be a real one? The test conversations I've had with people around the forum have always had fake emails. I wasn't sure if that was just for forum testing purposes and if I should make a new key with a real email address when I actually contact a vendor and make a buy or if a fake addy is standard practice.

Its not necessary for it to work, but its advised that you make a tormail account and use that.

PS tips are greatly appreciated and go back into the community. Every dollar counts =)

Great, the last piece of the puzzle. Time to bite the bullet and go for it. Thanks for your help. And I will donate as soon as I'm able.
