I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. All I had to do was give them an e-mail addy and then initiate a transfer from a bank account. Are they asking for photo ID or somthing?

Yes, a scanned picture of it in fact. Which I don't even have??? Who the hell has a scanned pic of their ID ready to go online?

What is a better alternative to buying bitcoins? Please help I want to buy them by today or tomorrow and place an order at the Beginning of the week.

Prolly doin that b/c of chargeback scams. I read about it on the TradeHill.com site. Dwolla is Dwumb. I can't believe they want a picture. I wonder what's next? Amigo's falling from the sky?

It doesn't take much to get a fake id on the internet. so, if someone wants to scam, they will.

Use tradehill.com and Paxum. Then if you want to be extra safe run your new coins through a tumbler, that's what I would do if any coins were ever attached directly to my bank account.

protip: you cant access your liberty reserve account over tor, so use public wifi.

you can fund your account thru one of the exchangers with western union.

takes about 24 hours from cash to btc.
