Title: Using Tails on home network
Post by: redDot333 on August 29, 2013, 09:57 pm
If for some reason people want to look at my home network, they can only see that Im using a Tor service if I am using Tails correct?  Not what websites Im on and what not.  Also, my mom uses a VPN for work, do these look the same to people from the outside on a home network?

thanks--still tryna understand this all

Are you using Tails as your operating system?

without tails anyone including your isp could only tell you are using tor not what site your on
tails is a operating system that just forces all connections through tor and doesnt keep logs etc on computer
if use a vpn before connecting to tor then anyone including your isp can only see you connected to the vpn not tor

Best bet connect vpn then tails/tor
