Title: Is ebay the only place to get bitcoins with paypal?

Im fine with buying them off ebay, its just that they mark up prices outrageously on there like 8$ per bitcoin.
is there any other paypal sites?

VirWoX. They use paypal to deposit USD to buy SLL then convert that to BTC. If you use limit orders and play the market game you can break even.

Bitcoin-OTC, some vendors will do paypal.

It does get tempting to use paypal, but I think with a little planning it is not necessary.

Plenty of vendors on SR use paypal. Why don't you just go buy moneypak?

If you can use PayPal you can probably get to a bank with some cash.  I've been using bitinstant.com and dropping off cash at Chase bank without giving a or even saying a word to the teller, just fill in the account number and deposit the cash.  I literally had bitcoins on mtgox.com before I even left the bank and sat down in my car!
