Is it ok to store a catalogue of SR users Pub PGP keys on your hard drive? I cant imagine why it would be if they are meant to be public, but I wasn't sure if there was some technical security flaw I was overlooking if LE got ahold of my PC.
Thought I should check this out before I saved a couple, can't be too safe.

Getting a hold of your PC should not be helpful to LE at all.
Whatever computer you use for Silk Road should be secure. At the very least get truecrypt but also look at Tails Linux or a linux boot with encrypted USB drive for bookmark storage. Passwords use keepassX (linux) or keepasss2 (windows) on the truecrypt encrypted drive.
Basic scheme is boot off static CD or USB, and use truecrypt for any data you save. There are other options, but this will give you great security and is easy to set up.

While I am all for security (I use a true-crypt container for all saved correspondence, of which I keep very little) what is the use of hiding what is posted right here on this forum and in every smart sellers signature?
I have a tails usb I keep if I need to access TOR on someone elses's machine but short of that if I am encrypting everything and wiping (really wiping) temp files and caches I should be fine right?
Besides, I'm just a small time buyer. A seller who held onto to ANY delivery info (like mine) would be scary. Of course 2 scammers have mine now anyway so what's a person to do?

I was thinking more along the lines of what bp is saying. It is all ready public so secrecy shouldn't be a problem. I do use TrueCrypt.
Thanks for the information.
