Title: Gandalf
Post by: kluptidal on May 07, 2013, 10:29 pm
"Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love."

- Gandalf, from JRR Tolkien's The Hobbit

Can we please take a moment to appreciate the dopest wizard in all of Middle Earth.

This quote obviously has a lot to do with our place in society and the power we hold to restore some evil that the "greater powers" have let slide, but I'll leave the discussion open.

Not even the wise can see all ends.

Gandalf is truly the wisest of Maiar.
