I didn't really see anyone selling these, as there might not even be a market, but does anyone have access to a decent quality mg (.001) scale??
I'm looking at a few on the clearnet that have good reviews even on youtube right now.
I would prefer a scale that plugs in the wall and has accuracy within ~+-2mg (mine's within 5mg right now)
I'm looking at the Acculab and a few others (~$400-700+).
I would love a magnetic force restoration scale as well.
My Gemini Pro20 works ok, but it seems to take a bit to get a decent read, and anything under ~7mg isn't accurate.
So, if any vendors or members on here have access to any scales fitting that at cheaper prices, i'd be intersted!
Or even any good suggestions.
Reagent Test kits:
As I think my Marquis is old/expired does anyone have a good idea of which modern test kits are good for numerous substances? (ie. MDMA, RC's)
Thanks!

You are exactly right.. the gemini pro is pretty good for 10mg and above. You can go lower, but its harder to get a good read...
If you plan on spending 400-700 for a .001 resolution scale, then you should be okay.. check up on the scale forums (im sure they are out there) but the milligram scales that cost less than 100 bucks are just really good guestaments. If you need to be 100 percent accurate at .001, then I would do what you are doing and invest in higher end/professional scale..
Let us know which ones are good, etc.. The only ones we talk about here are the cheap ones. (Although, the gemini pro is probably the best cheap one out there) Its amazing how many people think that their pocket size 50 or 20 dollar milligram scale is "PERFECT"! just because it seems to give a consistent rating, what most people don't realize is that if the stuff you are trying to weigh isn't perfectly set on the scale, it possibly wont weigh it right... Those cheap ones are VERY unreliable, they are okay to make sure that you wont kill yourself (as long as you are okay being a few milligrams off), but if you can, invest in the good, professional ones....

Chronic,
Thanks for the response. So you see where the issue lies with the cheaper mg scales. :-\
They seem to calibrate on a curve and you have to continually keep lifting the tray and re-checking the weight.
The advantage of the magnetic force restoration balances is that it gives you the exact weight instantly, no real fluctuations when you add product.
There are some good youtube videos on examples of them.
I was looking at the Acculab brands, but it appears they are discontinued and if you can snag one for cheap, it'd be a good idea.
So I think i might settle on A&D FX series scales. It has the options, just gotta save before I bite that bullet! :-[

A&D FX-120i $660.
Check the stats: magnetic force restoration, AC adapter, large scale plate, linearity +-.002
I will update if/when I get one. Thanks again!
