It's common that some of sites can block or flag Tor users when visiting the site.
How about checking USPS DCN numbers as the vendor via Tor? Couldn't that potentially flag the package in their system?
Should vendors always use clearnet when tracking packages?

i always use packagetrackr via tor to check on my package statuses . I've never been flagged before and i doubt its happening anytime soon. Even if they do flag me, it would have no effect on the shipment of the package because using tor to check a DCN does not prove that there are illegal items in the package. I also doubt USPS will go through all the trouble to find and stop my priority packages based on evidence from a third party.

Well even as a vendor there isn't really a need to check DCN numbers on many orders unless there is a problem. As long as customers are finalizing orders, then you don't need to check to see if any of your shipments are being delivered.

Vendors are usually too busy to check tracking info on individual packages. Most think that you will contact them if it doesn't arrive and are happy to give you thre. I certainly wouldn't be constantly checking tracking info until, compared to a usual time frame for delivery, it was over due
