Title: Vendors pgp key concern
Post by: Worriedbuyer on May 06, 2012, 07:05 pm
Ive just copied a vendors pgp key to encrypt my address as I was about to make a purchase from them.
There pgp key had a name and email address linked to it which I copied down went to my clearnet computer and googled the name, all the persons information is easily found they have posted the same pgp key on there about me page.

This has put me of purchasing, am I right to be paranoid about the connection or not?

soo true ;)
But i think no one is that stupid, using a pgp key associated with their real name.. i mean common.. it´s like signing a message with your adress with that key and sending it per mail to the DEA ^^
