Just something I ran across today. Looks like our (US) lovely Government is/has been keeping records of ALL mail sent within the US by Digitally copying the "Outside" of the Mail to include Postal Stamp From and To information date etc. So this gives them a record of our Mail received and sent WITHOUT a Warrant! The Accessing Contents still need to have a Warrant, but this is similar to the NSA programs. Just a heads up for Sellers especially. The US Postal Service is still safer then UPS or FEDEX "in general" since they require a Warrant to open the Mail while the Private parties often do it just on request from LEO's (this I know but can't go into details...).
