Title: Newbie Vendor Shipping question
Post by: buckaroo0987 on August 29, 2013, 08:40 pm
What do vendors put as a return address?

Do they just make one up?

Obviously you want to put something so it doesn't look suspicious, yet you don't want to write anything that would lead back to you. So what do most vendors put?

Use a real address that is in the same physical region as where the package will be dropped. Do not use your own. Any packages returned to this address are to be considered a loss.
Make it believable and something that customers will feel safe having on their package.
Use a label printer.

Change it periodically, especially important if any of your packages have been returned to this address or intercepted.
