Has anyone tried the Fat Freddy's Cat from davidd here? I know that blotters are overrated all the time. They say 250mcg I was thinking about getting one for my first time. 250 might be a lot for that but maybe its really 140 or something?

Hi, blotters' designs are inaccurate way of determining the dosage, anyone can purchase blotter art and create his own Freddy's Cat blots. So it can range from 90-300ug, depends on the strength and quality of the vial too. The real ug will be determined by the manufacturer of the product.

This is true in theory but the truth of it is often over-stated. On the whole the big mass European prints tend to be pretty consistent at any one time. The US situation in which blotters are usually laid locally in relatively small runs is not the situation that obtains in Europe, where the big Dutch labs lay literally millions at a time. It is true that later runs of the same print are often a lot weaker than the first runs which are used to establish the rep of a print. It is also true that the time-window during which a particular run of a particular batch of a particular print lasts can be very short, and different vendors at different levels of the supply chain will have batches from different runs, and then there is the whole question of degradation and storage impacting on particular sheer, so in practice for end-users the result can be that the print tells them nothing. But people who know the North American market best would be surprised at how consistent blotters of a particular print tend to be at a particular time in Europe.
Oh and professional blotters are not laid from vials - they are laid from crystal which is put into a solution which is a very different concentration to what you would find in a vial.
