Hiya,
What the fuck is wrong with TradeHill.com. They are now asking for a TELEPHONE number to login to your account!
What the fuck happened to a ananoymous wallet?
Anyone else experiencing this? And also what is the most private way (after withdrawing from SR) to keep your bitcoins safe from prying agency eyes :|
Thanks.

Trade Hill and Mt. Gox are far from being private. The only thing that you can make even remotely private is your own wallet on your computer(I guess there are some hosted wallets too). You can set up your bitcoin wallet to go through Tor, but I don't know how much anonymity that gives you..

I've not needed to input my telephone number or photo ID at tradehill. Anymore info on this? Are they asking when you login or when you deposit or withdrawal? Like with Dwolla, everyone was saying they started requiring Photo ID. For me, they placed a call to verify my accnt...anti-fraud measure. Shit, they already have your name, bank accnt info...what else do they need?

Sounds like you have the two-factor authentication option checked in your settings. Un-check it and it should go away.

A voice print? Just a guess.

Yes, or some sort of tumbler money washing service would be great. I think lasagna is working on this.
