The cargohold's get over 100F during the day and its a 10-12 hour flight.

Isn't it below zero at 30,000-40,000 feet? Like- way below zero.

IT depends on the drug, most, actually close to all drugs wouldnt be effected with those kinds of temperatures...
MDMA for example has a melting point of like 140 degrees C

LSD is the only drug you would have a problem with.

The pressure vessel boundary of any modern jetliner is the skin itself from the nose to the rear pressure bulkhead. So the entire fuselage, including the cargo hold has the same air recirculating through it. During flight the skin temperature drops (since is so friggin cold at altitude) and the ECS has to heat the internal air to maintain a comfortable temperature. The heat ducts blow into the cockpit area of freighters and inside the air flows typically front to back, so in the back of a cargo plane it can get pretty chilly.
The only time you experience very high temperatures is on the ground before or after takeoff.
The real heat issue is encountered on overland routes since cargo box trailers and containers don't have ventilation or AC.
