Title: UPS Mailboxes
Post by: TMan99 on August 10, 2013, 08:24 pm
I recently got a UPS mailbox, I was trying to open up a USPS PO box but could not for reasons I do not want to say.

Is there anychance the UPS people will open up my packages and look through them, attempting to steal something? Obviously if they open it up and there are drugs inside I could be in trouble.

I bought some random stuff that is going there to see if they open them up or not.

Does anyone have experince with this

If they are sending it, yes.

But if they are only receiving your mail, I am pretty sure thats a crime.

UPS is a private company and they can do whatever they want with your package.

with all the young bucks working in the stores in my local i wouldn't trust em... but i take my chances 8)

Wrong.  UPS can open anything.  They are accepting it on your behalf.  You even sign paperwork when you open the box and they file paperwork with USPS to be able to accept packages on your behalf.
