Title: how long for BC to hit SR?
Post by: SRPhoenix on February 20, 2013, 07:44 am
have just transfered a bunch of Bitcoins to SR from my BitcoinQT wallet and it took like 40min for the little clock to turn to a green tick and it finally says "Confirmed (6 confirmations)" when i hover the mouse over the tick.

thing is, that happened like 10mins ago and even tho i've verified it's been sent to the right address, the coins *still* haven't hit my SR account.

Can anyone tell me how long round abouts you have to wait till the coins show up on SR??

i REALLY wanna buy me some shit, like NOW!!

thanks

Confirmations don't mean you'll see them on SR right away. It doesn't take very long though. Just be patient, and come back to it every hour or so. And if I'm not mistaken, the reason for the delay between seeing confirmations and seeing funds on SR is that SR tumbles the coins for added security.

The first few times can be a bit hair raising, but after you've done it a few times you know what goes on. Mine usually take about an hour ish.
