Been lurking here quite a while absorbing enough info to feel comfortable enough to engage with the ultimate sweet shop. :)
So am cool with general workings (Tor, SSH Tunnels, PGP etc) just one thing I am unsure of is how to contact vendors who don't use PGP? Have had a search of the discussions but couldn't find anything to answer my question.
Say a vendor, like HappyHippy for instance, does not use PGP but specifies on their profile to just get in touch with an encrypted message over Tor PM - what is the procedure?
I see Tor PM declares on their site that messages are encrypted would this suffice? Or is there any other type of encryption that can be used without having a public/private PGP key to decrypt the message?
Just don't want to go about sending unencrypted messages to people and start fucking them off before I have even started!! :)

Once you empty your inbox on torpm, the messages are gone forever. That answer your ?

So in terms of getting in touch with someone over Tor PM with their request for it to be encrypted it would just mean typing a straight message and letting Tor PM do the encryption?
Guess given my example it is one for HappyHippy to determine really.
