Hi all!
I was wondering where I can download the best PGP software.
I know that people ofc have different opinion on this matter.
So everyone is welcome with suggestions.

If this is your first rodeo with PGP, this is the absolute easiest way to get on the bull:

I used GPG4Win, but that's a temporary thing while I am accessing the road on my Windows machine. Now that I'm more familiar with the PGP process I will soon be booting into TOR with my Linux setup and I'm sure there will be a different option to use there. But, I guess GPG4Win is a good place to start learning the basics.

PGP and GPG are virtually the same thing. GnuPG (GPG) is an OpenPGP standard compliant system with the history of OpenPGP of great importance. It was designed to interoperate with PGP, the email encryption program initially designed and developed by Phil Zimmermann.
GnuPG also supports symmetric encryption algorithms. By default GnuPG uses the CAST5 symmetrical algorithm.
GnuPG does not use patented or otherwise restricted software or algorithms, like the IDEA encryption algorithm used in PGP.
This is a basic starter's guide I wrote on using G.P.A. It should help you out. :)
1. Copy the Public Key of the person you want to send a message to.
2. Open a text editor, such as Notepad, and paste the Public Key. Name the file and save it to your desired location on your PC.
3. Open GPA (Gpg4win), click IMPORT, locate the file you just saved with the Public Key in it, and double click it. It will then show up in KEY MANAGER where it is stored for future use along with any other Public Keys you wish to keep.
4. Then click on CLIPBOARD, the 2nd icon in from the right at the top of the page. Type the message you wish to send to the recipient and then click ENCRYPT. Click on the Public Key of the person your sending the message to (should now be highlighted), then click OK at the bottom.
5. Then copy the encrypted message and paste it in a PM to the recipient and send it.
6. REMEMBER - Include your Own Public Key in this message if you wish to receive an encrypted response from the recipient. You can find this by RIGHT-CLICKING your key in KEY MANAGER, then copy/pasting it. :)
Hope that helps you out. :) :)
Make sure you copy all the --------- in the message or Public Key your importing, including both the beginning and end of the message/Key. :)
