Title: Ordering FREE CD's to increase legit shipping
Post by: SierraRS on December 25, 2011, 12:11 am
I was thinking about possibility to subscribe or order large quantity of free stuff from internet to my SR shipping address, so amongst SR packages there is larger volume of various legitimate packages incoming. Such as Ubuntu CD's (no more available) or Microsoft Partner programs (still receiving these on regular basis), and I think it is a good idea, but please post your opinions.

Yeahh...wouldn't hurt.

Also you can space out your SR orders + prioritize by country for additional security too (e.g not ordering 3 items from  Netherlands all at once)

The customs here are known to routinely open packages to see if they can be taxed. If some people are caught with packages with goods exceeding certain value and taxed, they shipments to that person are more often opened and checked. It's all about taxes and profit for government. There seems some kind of blacklist in action.

But if the person are known to order large quantity of junk from web, they probably will not go trough checking all his shipments.
