Okay I know how to add Public keys to my PGP program. I also know how to encrypt messages and get it to show the encrypted coded message in my PGP Clipboard.....
But I am having trouble figuring out what to do once I have the code.
Like I will select a Public PGP Key and encrypt a message specifically for that particular PGP User, but now the question is......
How do I send this code to the PGP User, like, how do I send him the code, so he can then decode / decrypt the message with his PGP Program?
I am sure the answer is a simple one but I haven't been able to really find any topics about this specific PGP Question....so Thanks a bunch

Copy and paste.

Copy and paste.
I understand I have to Copy and Paste the code and send it to the PGP User. But my question is....
Where do I Paste the code at, and how do I send it? If you were going to send me a message and had the code already encrypted, where would you paste that code into and how would you send it to me??

PGP encrypted messages are usually copied to either 1) messages to the sender before or after a sale or 2) in the 'address' box that your order is going to be physically mailed to from the shopping cart/place order page.

jep, just copy and paste were you want the message to go (all of it)
this can be in the address field as well as messages
-
Basically where ever the normal non encrypted message would go is where you paste the message, don't worry if it looks like a lot of writing or odd, the other person will just copy it all all out of the text box anyway.

Thanks for the quick response Fije.
Now I just have one more question for you then I promise I close the thread, just one last question please.
In addition to sending the Encrypted PGP message to the vendor's message box on Silk Road, I also assume that I can alternatively.......
Copy and Paste the coded message into an email program such as Tor Mail or another secure email program, or just any email program in general for that matter, such as yahoo mail or Gmail?
Of course I would need to have the correct email address for the recipient, because if it is the wrong email address, he will not be able to encrypt it.
I am assuming that is also possible as well, In case the SilkRoad ever went down for good. God forbid that ever happen!!

When you make an order, paste your encrypted address info in the addy box. Most vendors only want that part encrypted and regular messages are ok non encrypted unless they contain info that need encrypting. If you just say product in a mssg instead of coke or weed and such it should be ok non encrypted. Decrypting is just an xtra step and takes time, thats why most only want necessary info encrypted.

Feel free to ask as many questions as you like! :)
PGP (or GPG as its known on Macs) encrypted messages can be sent using any medium possible, so long as the entire messages (along with those couple of readable headers) make it over to the person who's public key you've encrypted the message with. No one else will be able to read it as the person who's public key you've used has the private key to decrypt it with.
So you can send that message within an email, as an attachment, left on a network drive or USB stick, entered into a SR message box or shipping box!
Hope that all makes sense. If anything doesn't ask away.
Worst case scenario I'm sure your recipient would reply back to say they can't decrypt your message if something didn't work in the process. And if you send it to the wrong person, they can't do anything with it because they don't have the matching private key :)

Thanks a bunch, you've been really helpful. I feel like a PGP pro right now and I don't even have one encrypted sent message under my belt yet...but I now feel like I can effectively use my Portable PGP program and use The Silk Road , Tor and the Deep Web in general, a lot safer.
So thanks a lot Fije and the rest of you who left helpful answers to my question.

Pleasure. I'm pretty new to SR myself and have been amazed how nice, friendly and helpful people on the forums are, and how professional vendors have been on SR itself.
Its worth being causous however and checking out your chosen vendor ratings and reviews, and searching for them on these forums before you place your first order.
Always use encryption (as you're trying to), so make sure you ask any more questions if you can't get it to work for any reason.
And finally don't FE (Finalize Early). When you put bitcoins into your SR wallet and place an order, those bitcoins go into a escrow system and the vendor only gets their bitcoins when you either wait 17 days or Finalize Early and release the payment. FE'ing basically means paying your vendor before you have received the product. Reputable vendors do not require your to FE, so if they demand it, be careful before proceeding.
Good luck!
