What is Ephedra?
Epheda diet pills are made with Ephedra; a bush-like plant that can be found in the desert areas in Asia and other some other places on Earth. Ephedra is a stimulant that contains the herbal version of ephedrine, a substance that can be found in over-the-counter asthma drugs. In the USA, ephedrine and ephedra can be found in supplement stores under a variety of manufacturers. Ephedrine is often-times utilized to achieve weight loss goals, boost energy levels and improve athletic performance.

Oh man 300mg caffeine? The come down must be horrible.. :-\
-
Its not that much really, equivalent of 3 mugs of coffee or so.
The combination of ephedra, caffeine and aspirin was very popular about a decade ago as a weight loss solution, and proved to be effective to that end if you took the side effects for granted. Ephedra was banned in most of europe 5 years or so ago.
While effective as weight loss agents it would be fair to note that the side effects of this combination can be rather unpleasant: You may experience heart palpitations and anxiety among several other symptoms. In rare occasions taking these medications have (probably) even resulted in death.
That said these things can be very useful if you are in good health to begin with - just be very aware that there are risks involved.
