I don't know whether this is a bug or not but the USD price displayed for an item when divided by the current btc exchange rate does not equal the btc price in the shopping cart.
eg.
I place a item which is displaying $113.93 as its price into the shopping cart.
The exchange rate is 1btc = 15.38USD
The calculated btc price would be 7.4btc
The actual btc price in the cart is 7.8
Unless I am missing something obvious while my brain is switched off for the weekend, is there a bug here?

i think it maybe the silk road 5% fee they charge for any order

Stupid question possibly, but is the price displayed the MtGox price to buy a bitcoin, or to sell one?
Thanks.

I know what your looking for and it would actually be the last completed sale price. On this site last I heard, it was a 24hr moving average.

So, does that mean sellers need to make sure that the btc and the dollar price is somewhat close? I, too had a discrepancy. the difference between the btc price and the dollar price was way off, by 15-20 percent(not in my favor). It would make sense if they took a 24 hour average.
Looks like Ill have to check the difference a couple times a day. Just so long as its close, I know it wont be perfect.
