Not so much a product request as an information request:
I'm considering an art project for school and I'd to buy some "blotter" paper, the kind typically used to lay down LSD. I've done a lot of reading online and people mention using "watercolor paper" and I've seen web sites where one can buy pre-printed blotter paper with custom artwork, but I haven't found any resources that list specific brand names or types of paper (such as manufacturer, weight, etc.).
Ideally I'd like to find plain white blotter paper, something that has great absorbency, can readily draw up a large amount of solution, and is reasonably easy to ingest (in other words, isn't manufactured with toxic chemicals and doesn't taste too terrible).
Can anyone point me to specific brands and sizes? Does 3M make a particular brand for example? Where am I most likely to find it--an art-supply store? Amazon.com? Can I buy them in notepads or reams of 500 8" x 10" paper? What the heck should I be looking for?
As a follow-up question, assuming a person wanted to score this paper into say 1/4" x 1/4" squares, what sort of machine would be most suitable for professional-quality, highly reproducible scoring, such that the paper could be easily torn into perfect little squares?
Cost isn't so much a factor as quality here, and any information you can provide in this direction would be very helpful as I'd really like to get a good grade on my art project.
Thanks in advance for your input!
