See my second post. Sorry!
-
Did you read the message? New DPR.
-
Sorry, yep just read it. I hope StExo can verify this, it would make me feel a lot better.
-
Verify what? It's just a new person calling himself Dread Pirate Roberts, has nothing to do with the old Silk Road. I'm assuming that's the "SR 2.0" site?
Edit: Reading that message properly I am now assuming that is not "SR 2.0" but the other project StExo was talking about, if so I indeed hope he can verify this is the real deal. :)

His name shows up in the member list, as a vendor.
So we can assume he joined that "ship"

That's a very good sign I guess. This definitely looks good so far, makes me feel all warm and fuzzy! :D

StExo vouches for it. You won't find anything more about who's behind it though other than I'm told it's people who were very connected to the original market. I have a big concern I've voiced to the new DPR but for the time being, it's certainly something to watch.

Is there a thread where he publicly vouches for it? Because this makes me think otherwise: (unless the link isn't Black Flag but it looks like it is)
The fact you've announced this ahead of time is a security issue in of itself, count me out.
Trying to hide from LEO is not and never will be a valid form of security. A secure site is when even if everyone on the planet knows the source code, they still are unable to break into the site without the proper keys.
Right now I am offering a safe forum that we won't have to worry about being taken down at any time.
This forum will go down. Even if LEO does not touch it, servers get turned off when no one pays the bills.
I will be frank with you. Things move behind the scenes, I am aware of it already because I was asked for an opinion, but your project will be in vain, there is something much bigger coming.

There was a thread, but he deleted it.
