I feel like counterfeit money should be a given for a black market. Did I miss something important that it was ruled out, or is it just not too common now? Come on North Korea, everyone knows that you have the goods ;)
-
I feel like this would bring mad heat, what are some fun things you can use it for that will actually work besides buying drugs from dumbass dealers
-
Could definitely get away with good $10 bills being used for small things like 7/11 runs, fast food, drugs, and basically get $10 off any transaction you do, at least, and more if you wanna get ballsy.
-
Yes I too want to give the secret service even more of a reason to go after SR operators.
-
I wouldn't see it as a big deal if they had more reason. It isn't like they don't have all the reason in the world at this point. NK was more of a joke, but don't you think that a small time guy would be nice? There are plenty of uses for it if the quality is up to par.

Bad Idea.... All major stores have DVR's "cameras" that record everything and once a few bills are passed and or the night manager catches the fake your ID'ed. Two women got busted doing it with 5's 10's and 20's at convenient stores.
1. Get some 10's and 20's
2. Surf Craigs list and buy Eletronics from 50-200 bucs...
3. Sell those items
Other Bold ass methods to wash money.. "not that I did this"
I sold a motorcycle for 3500 cash...
Well I switched out the money with some 20's and 50's I got from a vendor on Hackbb these passed every test.... It matched what the guy paid.
I went into my bank and deposisted the money, she counted it in the machine and put it in the draw for passing out to others..
I washed 3000 in 20's and 10' at my bank. Ball's of Steel my friend, I was going to blame it on the person who bought my bike. My plan was to act dumb and be like I got fucking ripped off and dive
This was a while ago.
3000 in bills for 500 so I profited 2500...
OH DONT CASH THEM IN AT STORES your on camera!!!!

I wish.

Back in the 80's there was a counterfeiting ring out of Iran that used to make American 20's. Rumor was that the US did it to the Iranian Rial as well.
So there's that -spy stuff. I imagine that could bring some unwanted attention.
-
Well, I guess that SR wouldn't want attention from another US agency. I've read that North Korea has old US printers and has been rolling out dollars like no tomorrow to fund some of their military by selling to other countries/organizations. Anyone know more about that? I guess that SR might also be standing at a moral viewpoint, but thats pretty illogical, considering. It is just so weird that all of these underground markets have money and forgery tabs, and no counterfeits?

The USD is already in bad enough shape, I think that would put things over the top. Economically speaking, then things would really heat up.

Thats a good point. Come to think of it, I don't want my money value to drop even more globally than it already has in the last 10-15 years :/ I guess that I would feel to bad giving people fake money anyway...

Terrible idea. Passing counterfeit notes at any business is the quickest way to get investigated by the feds. The Secret Service will fuck you in the ass and if busted you open the possibility of doing a long stretch in federal prison. The Secret Service takes any amount of counterfeit notes seriously.
I'd avoid using them for drugs too. Rip off the wrong person and your life and the lives of those around you could be in danger.
While it may seem like counterfeit money could be useful, in my opinion it's not worth it at all.
-
It is not allowed on SR because it is an item used to defraud another. AKA Steal.
We are not about that here

Lol are you serious? Even commercial counterfeiting operations won't even make a dent compared to the massive expansion of the money supply by the federal reserve and fractional reserve banking.
I'm all for counterfeit bills, we can even use them overseas. Nothing like paying a Thai hooker with a fake $100 bill lol.

Indeed, my good constable. Indeed.

It is against the rules. It is used to defraud. It would also bring heat.
Fun fact: The North Korean government produced billions of dollars of "supernotes." US hundred dollar bills higher quality than the US makes. Bank tellers and stores can't tell the difference. They are fucking your economy in the US. They also manufacture a whole lot of narcotics like methamphetamine.
-
fun fact #2: The united states government adjusts printing of new currency to account for their estimations of world counterfeit production. So technically, we should encourage really good counterfeiters since it saves the government money in printing costs. Maybe we should outsource printing services to korea HAHAHA
-
Fun fact #3: The US government gave North Korea an offset printing press like tow decades ago for them to use for their own money but they instead used it to print high quality counterfeit US hundred dollar bills for many years.
Fun fact #4: When the US government bought the rights to the ink that shifts from green to black produced by the company SICPA for use on the US currency North Korea quickly bought the rights to SICPA's ink that shifts from green to magenta in the same year that we bought the rights to green to black. They did this because magenta is the closest color on the spectrum to black. They slightly change the ink to make it green to black. NK has been fucking you guys in the US pretty hard with their billions of dollars of US hundred dollar bills that are higher quality than real ones.
Fun fact #5: These counterfeit 100 dollar bills have to be confiscated by the secret service and blown up in size large enough to walk on and examine with magnifying glasses to see if their is higher detail in the images on the bills. That is how the secret service can tell these counterfeit bills apart from real 100 dollar bills.
Can you imagine how many of these are really in circulation? Cargo containers full of them have been found being shipped around on cargo ships.
Fun fact #6: The North Korean government produced meth is some of the highest quality in the world. Their government's counterfeit Viagra has more sildenafil citrate in it than legitimate Viagra.
-
"i get u good round eye heh heh heh"
-
It could be that North Korea is developing their own onion site for this very purpose as we speak.
If the NK govt knows about SR and its effect on the US i'd say it may be only a mere matter of time before
kim.onion is shipping meth and funny money stateside.

Yea your exactly right, my friend told me about how korea has supernotes and meth, i am trying to convince him to get me some, he said he seen people selling the notes on the street with his own eyes.
One 2007 report estimated that the these funds netted North Korea $500 million to $1 billion a year, via a variety of methods, including widespread counterfeiting of U.S. dollars (at least $45 million according to a 2006 U.S. congressional report), foreign hotels and restaurants, and even reports of gold smuggling and drug trafficking. A 2009 Washington Post story talks about an enormous international insurance scam being conducted by the group.

I am well aware of the North Korean government's shenanigans. They are a mafia country. They generate all of their income from illegal activities.
-
no vendors have good paper why waste your money and bring heat to SR.
Bankers need drug dealers, bankers dont need counterfeiters.

I wouldnt say all. They do export some minerals and textiles
-
North Korea may be huge in the US currency counterfeit game but the #1 player on the field is the US government. Maybe not in their definition of it but certainly in the logic of reality.

100$ us is way to much to give a thai hooker, just sayin
-
ooh good catch I thought he said
"Nothing like paying FOR a Thai hooker with a fake $100 bill"
which seems pretty close if you depreciate sex slaves like you do automobiles....
or
Night with a thai hooker $10
"you break it you bought it" deposit $90
plastic bag $Free
A night youll never forget.....Priceless
-
Yes, you missed something. It's against the rules and immoral.

Well, you get a fake orgasm so a fake 100 dollar bill is kind of ironic.
Mate of mione went over there. He paid also. Trouble is, she was a he. He told us. We never miss a chance to remind him.
;D
You have to watch out for those Thai chicks, their families would chop you up once you throw money around. I mean, guys marry them, it can work but be careful out there!
You might end up marrying a ladyboy.
He love you long time.
