Hi ecstacy-
I'm no PC expert either. I was able to figure out nerf's advice. Let me try to explain:
open a new tab in the mozilla browser you use Tor in. just type in the about: config, then hit the arrow. This will bring up a HUGE list of....IDK...things of some sort. Settings for Tor, I guess. What you do now is, using the list Nerf provided, scroll down and find each setting entry that matches. Make sure the setting matches EXACTLY what nerf said...there are a lot that are alike. Then what you will do is change the default setting to what is listed in Nerf's post.
So for the first one (keep-alive.timeout), your setting right now is probably 300. Highlight that entry, right click, and choose modify. A gui box will pop up. Change the 300 to 600. The ones that are numbers you will manually change. The ones that have true/false options, right clicking will provide you with a "toggle" option Just click toggle.
Then restart. Hope that helps!!
@Nerf: thanks for the tip :D

ok now everything is clear... thank you very much

I tried but it is still slow, is there any other solution?

These are quite common settings that you can alter to speed up TOR because the settings help TOR in moving on when a node/circuit is unresponsive. Basically, reduces the timeout time for the circuit before looking for another path.
This decreases wait time on finding a path to complete your request.
Hope this helps!
