ok i am only asking on here because i assume whoever is on here is the sneakiest and smartest bunch on the web hehe
ok i want to know how to effectively flag and remove an ad from Craigslist from one home PC
my current method of getting an ad removed is flagging it from my iphone from different free wifi spots.. trouble with this is i have to get in my car and drive to free wifi spots such as starbucks, mcdonalds, barnes n noble, then flag the ad at each location.. etc.. so it takes time an effort
theory is that an ad has to be flagged from multiple ip addresses, but when i connect to tor and flag an ad, use a new identity (new ip address) and do that multiple times.. it does not remove the ad..
so my theory is that the ad must be flagged from multiple ip addresses that are LOCAL to the city the ad is posted in.. ex: if i want to flag and remove an ad from the Seattle Craigslist, i have to flag it from multiple ip addresses from in or around the Seattle area... tor's random ip address that it assigns can be from anywhere in the world, so that's why i think it does not work...
anybody know how i can change my ip but keep it local so i can flag and remove local craigslist ads?

google.com
you can change your ip to anything, you need to find local seattle IPs then and change them to that. look for proxy software

ive never seen anything that lets me change my ip to anything i wanted.. ive only seen sites that change my ip to something random.. what exactly would i search for?

don't give up geographical information so specifically, i suggest you change your post

I use a VPN to use things like craiglist (but I don't know how common they are in USA). Its easy to use (hey I use it), but have to pay a fee to use it.

i was using Seattle as an example... doesn't mean i live in or anywhere near it ;=)

Just google proxy lists. Change your LAN settings to a couple of the proxies and flag away with different IP's.

how do i search for proxys that are in my local city?

There is software called "proxy switcher" you can get it from pirate bay, it generates lists of proxies you can choose from, although I'm not sure if you can be any more specific than by country. I played with it a bit before coming to Tor.
