I have been reading over these forums for awhile now, and combining the knowledge that I already have on security with the specifics of the needs for use of SR. There are a lot of different opinions on what is the best / safest setup to use etc. I am trying to create a quick / temporary setup for vending while I work on a more long term solution and have a few questions.
Would a windows VM be safe temporarily if used with several proxies in a chain using Proxifier? These are good proxies so that won't be the issue.
If not, what is a quick solution requiring little setup that can be used for a non-linux savvy user? I have experience with linux, but not a lot. Would using the livecd only (or liveUSB) combined with proxychain (and obviously encrypted emails etc) be a good temp solution?
The proxy setup would be something like VPN -> Socks 5 proxies -> Tor , would this work and would the settings need to be setup a specific way?
The long term solution will include a combination of truecrypt and a custom gentoo distro as well as protable media, but this is going to take a few weeks to setup. Please , I am only looking for feedback on the temp solution, I know the importance of taking the time to setup encrypted , hidden volumes, etc.

What about running Liberte from a USB / SD Card on a VM? Little setup, secure, any opinions?

Remember Virtual Machines are still susceptible to malware infecting the host system on which the VM runs, so can still keylog, capture VM screens etc...
