I recently had a package never arrive, I'm in Australia and I'm told they do not send out customs letters informing people of seized packages.
The package was from overseas (UK) and I ended up getting a refund happily. I'm not 100% it was seized but I don't see any other explanation.
Obviously if I'm on 'The List' anything coming from overseas will be opened by customs, but I'm wondering if domestic packages will be intercepted if I make another purchase with an Australian vendor?

Did you use your real address or a drop? Just get it sent to another address if your concerned.

Used my real address. I don't honestly know where I could drop it. If I dropped it to my girlfriend's she would probably get mad for involving her haha.

hey you never know, the post man might have detected what it was and took it. that happened to a package I sent to a good friend in Cleveland, sent 7 packs, a few times the postman says to my buddy "Oh so I see you got another package from California..".. the next package didn't show up....yeah, that post man snatched it. buddy said he sorta smelled like an old drunk so...we assume he figured out what was in the boxes.

What a douchebag.
Don't you just hate our Aussie customs! Best not to ship to that address any more, although domestic may be okay as it doesn't go through customs. Assuming you are only buying personal use quantities I think that should be fine
