Title: VENDOR SECURITY - whats recommended ?
Post by: gonethroughtime on August 14, 2013, 09:11 am
Hi guys, Iv just started vending on a SR account. I have wanted to step up my security for a while but just wondering if i really needed to??

Currently all my files and tor are encrypted on a hidden USB ( through true-crypt), i use a VPN and then tor over this.

I dont think im too paranoid, but reading these forums seems to make me more paranoid.

I used to use tails but it took FOREVER to load up and use.

Is this enough security guys?? Any tips for the next step up would be VERY much appreciated!

Thanks

You should probably have a closer look at Whonix, which doesn't take long to boot. You should install it on an encrypted partition.

Read more here:

Or on their clearnet website:

If you like the OS you may want to install it on 2 cheap computers, where one has 2 or more network interfaces and only runs the Tor gateway, while the other runs the desktop. At least the desktop computer should be encrypted in that case.
