Hausgemacht 1653 Absinthe is a 148 proof (74% ABV) verte absinthe made according to the oldest known absinthe recipe from 1653. It is an herbal blend of Grand Wormwood, Anise, Fennel, and 13 other herbs and spices. All herbs and spices are sourced from all organic distributors. It is distilled and prepared in the traditional methods from the absinthe golden age in France. The alcohol itself is distilled 8 times before the final product is finished and is macerated in the herbal blend before the final distillation and then after steeped again for an all natural taste and color.
Reviews:
"First off, I feel it's necessary to address what absinthe really is. It has a reputation of being a semi-psychedelic, higher-level alcoholic beverage. What it really is is a liquer with such an amazing, complex and unique flavor that masks that fact that it has a significantly high proof.
I lived in Paris from 2011-2012, and I made a point of ordering absinthe whenever I ended up at a bar or restaurant that seemed to take it's preparation seriously. That being said, Pathenry's absinthe packs a serious punch. Despite this, it's amazingly drinkable. While bitter straight, if prepared as absinthe should be, Pathenry's concoction is a veritable nectar of the gods.
This is a fairly undeveloped section of silkroad, but one that deserves your attention. It tastes homemade, natural. You can taste the care and effort he put into the particular batch. Most of us think of silkroad as a way to obtain illegal and illicit substances, but Pathenry's absinthe goes beyond that. This is a true, American-made beverage of the highest quality, folks."

I am considering listing a blanche absinthe if there would be interested customers. It has none of the bitterness that verte (green) absinthe has. It is light and herbal.
Blanche, or la Bleue: Blanche absinthe (also referred to as la Bleue in Switzerland) is bottled directly following distillation and reduction, and is uncolored (clear). The name la Bleue was originally a term used for bootleg Swiss absinthe

I don't like watching you converse with yourself, so I'll jump in and break the monologue.
Does sound tasty though!

If you converse with yourself you are guaranteed to have at least one person who will listen. :)

I don't drink alcohol in excess, but the herbal nature of this product sounds like it would compliment many other activities, if only through the senses and cleansing the body. I would want the green(verte), the more wormwood, fennel and anise, the better =) Thujone is supposed to be very good for inflammation and the heart, I see it as a part of a ritual, what you choose to combine it with paints the picture of the experience as part of a story, set and setting are so important. I know quite a bit about herbs, and I would recommend a mixture like this to almost anyone.
