I've been on SR for a short while as a buyer and am preparing to open a seller's account soon and want to make sure all my ducks are in a row before doing so. As far as OS's go, it seems Liberte is arguably the top dog and everything I've learned about it certainly confirms that assertion. However, when I do a browser anonymity check at ip-check.info, the Win7 TorBrowser Bundle soundly beats Liberte's Epiphany. On Windows TorBrowser I only get 1 "bad" rating (eTags) and the rest are either "good" or "medium." However, with Epiphany I get 5-6 "bad" ratings and only 1 "good" rating (File Downloads).
Could it be that although the Liberte OS itself is more secure, the browser is less secure or anonymous? Are there tweaks I should be doing to it to make it better? Is the analysis at ip-check just bogus?
Any guidance will be much appreciated!

Would it be encouraged to use the Linux version of TBB on Liberte instead of Epiphany?

Yes. The Tor people actually strongly discourage the use of anything other than TBB, or the Tor FF Browser compiled independently of it. It uses a modified version of Firefox that has been hardened against anonymity compromising vulnerabilities.

Thanks. I tried going the TBB route on Liberte and after much trial and error and google research, I found out that Liberte does not allow users to create their own Tor network. So whenever you try to run TBB it crashes while connecting to Tor. Perhaps there is a way to isolate just the browser portion of the TBB and run it with Liberte's Tor network but that is beyond my abilities.
