Title: tails livesys + proxychains
Post by: JGfU6586jtfhfc on May 26, 2012, 09:37 pm
hey y'all! I'm trying to chain a socks5 proxy over tor with proxy chains while running tails. But when I launch iceweasel it says proxyserver refusing connections. the chain appears to say that it connects to tor, then connects to my proxy, then tries to connect to tor again and times out. Anybody know how to make this work?

What is supposed to be listening on port 9050? Either it's not running for some reason or a firewall is blocking it (usually not on 127.0.0.1  a.k.a localhost) With the netstat command do you see port 9050 listening?
