Title: Dispute/Refund Process - How does it work?
Post by: RevolutionaryRoad on April 23, 2013, 03:32 am
Hello,

I am a new seller who has completed several domestic sales successfully.

I have received a couple of International orders and I'm wondering what the official guidelines on the resolution process are (if any)?

What happens if I send the goods are they do not make it past the receivers customs?

1. If I can prove that the parcel has been sent with tracking, is this useful?
2. Would the buyer automatically be entitled to a 100% refund through the escrow system if nothing turns up?
3. If I message the buyer to explain my refund terms (50%), and put it on my 'About' page, is this fair and am I protected?

Thanks for any help. I checked the Seller Guide and didn't find much about these guidelines. Obviously it's in my interest to have my parcels get through so I secure loyal customers, just I need to know how much I am risking if I go ahead and process the orders.
