I made it to full member, 100 posts, and now not only can I post anywhere, I can give Karma! I did it without spamming my 1st 50, or my 2nd 50. See you all down Karma Road!

Enjoy!!

Congrats! That's my goal as well, I'd rather become a full member the "right" way.
-
Yeah I've been only writing proper posts, i did a couple in the spam thread but I actually wrote stuff in there.. after a couple I got over it..
but man.. 50 is a lot when you're time poor like me (work too much and other responsabilities :( )
I've had an account for over 3 months! and what ... 15 posts?
the speed of tor doesnt help much either.
-
Seems a bit excessive to me too, not sure on why this is so here, but I accept the rules.
-
congratz, same here.

You know, I don't hate on those who want to blast thru and get there posts done. That's their thing. But there is something to be said for those who take there time and put care into crafting a message and adding value to the community. Thank you for helping build the community here. Stopping to smell the roses is something the spam kids will never get.
Bravo.

not sure if it's so great to use the newb thread to make good posts here seeing as most ppl are just figuring out the system .and the full members that read the newb thread are quite critical and easy to give you -. my two cents.
i use this to up my threads with mostlly spam then go to the rumor mill and read a shit ton.not too worried about whats written here as it will be lost in noobville. ill wait till i get 50 posts and let people that care about their accounts read what good or bad i have to say. as far as the 50 post to keep people out of the other threads i think it's a good idea and should prob be 100 so vendors dont make mult accounts and give themselves great reviews or start wars with other vendors with dummy accounts.

Surely being poor has no effect on this? Yeah Tor is often bloody slow (although blazingly fast for me right now using my own Tor exit node in a DC in Germany. Muhaha).
Lacking money and having responsibilities shouldn't make you unable to post quality posts on a forum.
I, too, am refusing to give in to the "Spam spam spam" way but I am highly critical of the administration team for this heap of shite.

I can't wait to be a 'grown up' full member too.
I am trying not to spam too. Would rather make a contribution. I am so desperate to be able to post on threads in the Rumour Mill and the in the Book club!

Aren't we all :)
I'll admit to throwing out a couple of nonsense posts, but.its.hard.not.too.
What is the purpose of the 50 post limit anyways?

Spamming to 50 defeats the purpose of having the rule in my opinion.
Sk0rt - Time poor, in other words he doesn't have lots of time to post.

Yes it does, so the rule is redundant unless you bin all the spam meesages and reset the post count?
But why the rule anyway? What is it trying to stop?

Someone was so kind to give me -14 Karma's overnight?

On my way there the honorable way myself.
Respect and congratulations good sir!

Thanks to all for the positive posts. I just wanted users to know that you can actually learn some stuff here, and possibly save yourself from a scam and loosing money, or worse getting caught. I still made some mistakes, and lost a little money, but nothing like I could have. Reading from the forums and listening to the moderators and senior members really does help you. When your new this forum it seems a little dream like, and you can become so anxious to get your 1st order in and see that it really works, you can get totally carried away and so easily get into trouble, and some mistakes you may not recover form. I never intended to boast or brag to the newbie forum, I just wanted to let you know spamming isn't for everyone, and I know 50, and even 100 seem tedious and time consuming but it could be very worth it. :)
-
Hear, hear.
Stupid people have trouble seeing that some trails, no matter how tedious or seemingly irrelevant. Do have valuable purpose.
Those that don't will always have more chance of success in their ventures.
I am glad to consider myself the latter.

Congratulations!!!! That's really impressive. I absolutely believe you, but why do you have that much negative Karma if you did it the straight way? I hate that people give negative Karma for no reason... maybe cause of the GD888 thing? Anyway, I wouldn't mind a positive Karma hit, my friend! Thank you!

EVERYONE PLEASE READ: I got the negative Karma (-14 negs overnight) most likely according to moderators from someone who has 14 accounts and enjoys spending their time logging in and out and doing that . Personally, it sounds like a person who needs a life.
