Okay this is 50% a serious offer, 50% an attempt at humor.
Dear vendors,
Don't you think it would be much safer to have a legitimate return address on the product's you send out?
I do too.
Feel free to use the real life, legitimate address, I could provide you on some of your packages. Then if any of them get pegged return to sender, I can tell you what happened without having to use a DCR.
I mean if shit's postmarked in a completely different state, there's no way they can prove I sent the parcel (since I didn't)... I'd have an alibi.
Hit me up thru PM with your key and your vendor name on the road if you're interested in taking advantage of this offer.

sounds pretty risky man
-
Then the address is the same. Every single time you send a product out the return address never changes. That's a footprint if I've ever seen one.
-
Plus you'd have no idea what the hell is in any of the packages you might get, or who the vendor is.
-
lol, dude just wants free drugs that get bounced back. xD

lol exactly what i was thinking

It would look funny if you took a package to the post office and shipped it with the return address being in another state..

I'd know who the vendor is, because I'd have to give them my address, and I'd verify who they are through silk road PM.
I figure it'd be less risky for the vendor because fake return address apparently end up in this big USPS building where they sort through undeliverable mail for valuables. Instead of risking that kind of exposure, I could get to do free drugs.
As for the footprint, I figure this is a valid concern for a vendor thinking about doing this, that's why I said "some" of the packages. If this idea caught on maybe vendors could offer use of somebodies return address on a certain number of packages as a service to spend some of those extra unspent btc laying around.
And yes, hyrule and zdollaz, you guys are correct. This post is 50% an attempt at humor.
ralph, could you elaborate on how this would be risky for me?
as for dropping off at the post office with a return address in a different state, I could see that being a red flag. but I figure maybe some vendors dont actually take the product inside and instead just drop their packages off outside.

A return address post-marked in a different zip-code than the return address is said to be a "red-flag" (This is only what I have read, no real evidence to support that) though I know plenty of people who send mail from out of town with their home address as the return address and it all makes it through fine. Though, I'm sure these packages do not contain drugs :P
It would be risky for you if they were not delivered because drugs were found, since you are someone they could try to "knock and talk" which could put some heat on you. If you have a clean house, and don't cave to pressure, then there is really little risk for you. Maybe someone else could chime in and elaborate their concerns if I am wrong.
