Is using Win with Tor on USB an extreme high risk? Does anyone have experiences with this

You don't really need TAILS if you already use Linux, For windows users that don't want to install or learn Linux their best bet is TAILS, Windows is compromised already so don't use it unless you want to be hacked into by the NSA.

Shit, alright. Well I havent done anything illegal yet, or shared my info. By the time I am ready to make a purchase, I will be using TAILS, have changed my PWs to long random generated ones and my PIN also

I use Whonix to isolate Tor from the applications that I use over Tor. It's a little safer than Tails, but harder to setup if you don't like the default workstation that it provides. Tails is a great option tough.

I have limited linux\unix experience (I was a DOS-head), so I use TAILS as it's easy, pre-configured, and reasonably secure for personal buyers. +1 for the comment.

Tails is safer than a regular Linux distribution like Ubuntu for many reasons. It's harder for an exploit to bypass Tor on Tails.
Tails is also way easier for your average non-techie to use than it is to securely setup a Linux distro to the same safety level.
