Title: get-bitcoin.com via bofa cash deposit
Post by: mahadev on November 02, 2011, 12:24 am
I went into Bank of America with the intent to wire cash to get-bitcoin.com, but while filling out the out of state deposit slip I noticed an ID requirement at the bottom of the form. I didn't want to draw attention by asking them whether it's really neccessary, so I just left.

Does anybody have experience with this? Does Wells Fargo also require ID?

Hey don't worry! I did a BoA deposit for get-bitcoin earier today. The information that their website doesn't give you is that you need to use an out of state deposit slip (unless you're in CT) and it's a CT savings account, so you need to mark that on the form. Then put GetBitcoin LLC on there under name and if they ask for an address use one from your area. Then, just fill in the account number on the bottom. I didn't have to show ANY form of ID, and the attendant did not bat an eye, I think this is a common thing for the cashiers to process.

Again, they never asked for any form of ID and there was absolutely no fee.

No i.d. needed, so far... Wells Fargo, and it's just like exchangebitcoin, for me, where I just lay our receipt, and write order number on it, before taking a picture, then email it to get-bitcoin.  They keep making it easier, so far, so I hope they make money on this, so they can keep going, cuz it sure is convenient for us....and I just do it to speculate in btc anyways, which is totally legal, so that point I don't worry too much...
