Post by: Flyerz1934 on February 22, 2013, 09:23 pm
I asked myself a couple of days ago. Which type, brand etc..
Which type of machine do you as a  seller use?

I heard Dyson is a great brand...

Edit  **** deleted some sleep deprived ramblings about using the fucking search engine and came to realise that you just posted a thread just for general chit chat and you cannot
surely be chasing info and recommendations for vacs.... surely not****

Anyway yeah vacs... I threw 2 of mine away.. yep.. if for some reason I was raided and all they found was my vac sealers used in sending out goods they could bust me because
my fairly used sealers left their own unique little signature along the seal.
Vac sealer fingerprints mother fuckers.... learn it

Foodsaver are pretty good, some good deals at amazon. They are great to have in the kitchen for more than just shipping goodies. Buy meat in bulk and freeze in portions, no freezer burn and stays fresh a lot longer. Sunbeam are ok too https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1rjX-vBOx5M

Just avoid the shitty no name ones from china.

Is every machine able to seal mylar foil?

Short answer:  No.  Proper answer requires a dissertation, IMO.

Suggest you read the specs for the various machines to learn what the machines are capable of doing (and not doing).

Before you can read specs you're probably going to need to learn more about plastics:  http://dkn255hz262ypmii.onion/index.php?topic=33755.30

Good luck, this shit will probably set your head to spinning at first.
