So, I'm extremely new here and I'm still trying to grasp as much as possible before I make a purchase. One thing that I would like to hit on the head is all the acronyms (FE, LE, etc...)
I'm a pretty competent person so I'm able to pick up on some of them! ;)
One more question though: What is finalizing early? And why do people feel so strongly about it? (Both positively and negatively)
Thanks!

FE = Finalize Early
LE = Law Enforcement
If you finalize early you are giving your money straight to the vendor before you have received anything. This means that it could be hard or impossible to get it back if something goes wrong. If you use escrow you effectively give that money to Silk Road, who holds it until you receive your item and are happy with it, at that point you should be fair to your vendor and finalize as soon as possible.
Hope that helps (my good deed done for today) :)
