Title: Possible Scam
Post by: thats.kablamo on August 14, 2012, 02:52 pm
I don't want to name names just yet ... but this vendor kept telling me that is was going to take about 10 days, so no problem whatever.

However, he just keeps ducking my messages (and obviously I can tell when he reads them); until it auto-finalized, and now I don't know if there's anything I can do
This guy has a so so reputation, but I try to give people chances.

So my inquiry is whether or not there is a Buyer Support (or something similar) like there is a Vendor Support.

If not, I really think there should be. We get ripped off too, and VS seems to always side with them  :-[

Thanks all,

thats.kablamo

this hasnt happened to me but

i'm pretty sure after a certain amount of days you can choose to "Resolve" the order in the "orders" tab
that'll dispute it and bring it up to SR admins for review

Okay, here's the deal, you have 17 days from the moment the order is marked in transit till it auto-finalizes, if it does that you probably won't get your money back. The option for the resolve button shows up 4 days (day 13 after it's marked in transit) before it auto-finalizes. Normally, if it hasn't auto-finalized and you have the option to resolve, you can ask for an extension for the package to show up as long as you think it's really coming and want to try and avoid an increase on your refund rate.
