Title: Why is regular web "CearNet" and tor "DarkNet"?
Post by: Leftovercrackmaniac on June 01, 2013, 02:25 am
It makes no sense to me hahaha I mean think about it dude... On the so called "ClearNet" everyone is subject to being monitored by over controlling sociopath governments... But on the so called "DarkNet"  We are free to do what we please without any problems...

Shouldn't this side be called the "ClearNet" since we are free here and the other side be called "Darknet" since on that side our rights/freedoms are limited? lol

I think of it as on clearnet/clearweb everything is out in the open, like clear for everyone to see, and on the darknet/darkweb everything you do is hidden and you're in the dark.
