Who's with me?
-
To quote 2 Live Crew, "Get the fuck out, get the fuck out, get the fuck out my house, bitch"
Bye, don't let the door hit you.
-
TO ICELAND!
-
On the list of best retirements its number 19..
-
US seems to be the best place to be for SR. Seems like we get the most domestic shippers which means less interference and the fastest delivery times.
The government is obviously corrupt as fuck but I happen to like the founding father's ideas and diverse cultures you find here. The government does not represent what the US is all about. OP you sound like a teenager. You should focus on the positives of living here.
-
idk man i wanna go to cali but i'd be down to move to greece one day!
-
Culture is great, with destruction brings creation and so on and so forth, I was just starting a conversation, nor am I a teen
..nor does it matter :)

Norway is suppose to be great.. any thoughts on that?

Sounds cold.
And I just said that bc those were my thoughts a few years ago.
If I was going to leave I think Id head for the Caribbean or Mediterranean... I like warm weather and beaches =) and pizza.

Hahaha your on to something..
Yeah I was just speaking in person to someone about the whole 'drone' thing a lot of people seem to be talking about

America is turning into a corporate police state where everything you do and say is recorded. There is little leniency if you are poor, and wage slavery is a very real issue. You fucks don't realize that the system is designed to take your freedom away as soon as you are born/immigrate here. Sure this states are a lot better than say, Libya, but that isn't say much.
Fuck it pisses me off that people don't realize how shit the states are when they have never experienced a better way.
Imma go fuck Bjork now.
-
Fuck Obama. If he was ever caught during his college days of smoking he would never be president now.
But he's still closed more medical MJ vendors than the bush administration did.
Drones are obviously in violation of the constitution but the government doesn't care. Democrats seem less crazy on the surface than Republicans but they are all in the pockets of the corporations in the end. US has some major problems I won't deny that but I've slowly realized that doesn't make me want to leave. Every country has their own problems they are trying to deal with.
On the real though I dont know anything about government process and im mad drunk and trying to get my post count up, so if anyone would like to the enlighten me please go ahead! lol
-
Elmo I realize very well.. Im concealing my feelings I suppose.. Its insane what this country is, and who runs it. I live here and I try and make the best out of it.. Leaving the country does sound nice though
-
Just don't go to Aus, that is unless you want to be sober and drug free or you like paying 600 for a G of meth.
-
Hahaha damn that burnt
-
I just want to get an education and become an expat while I still can leave the country. I have a feeling it will be hard to renew my passport after going to one to many (peaceful) protests in the last year.
-
Where would you go? I don't know anyone out of the country either.. so its bound to be awkward no matter what
-
Naw guys. Things are finally starting to turn around. Slowly but surely. Marijuana is becoming straight up legal in more and more States. If anyone is interested in a movie compiling lots of the most current info and events of the past couple decades leading to all this progress I believe there is a good one out with Morgan Freeman narrating called Breaking the Taboo or something to that effect. Anywho, if you ARE determined to leave head to Portugal. All drugs decriminalized. All you get if you are caught is a slap on the wrist and the try to get you into counseling.

Its burnt I have to get my posts up to 50 too

Haha we can smoke pot so now all is good? It's nice but...cmon, it'll probably take more than cultural acceptance of subtances.
America will be a no factor in the world come 10-20 yrs. Probably even less
-
I'm torn between the feelings of both..
a) we'll be fine and pull through with hardship and learn the hard way to do whats right once again
b) government. fear. control.
-
It doesn't matter whether or not you can smoke marijuana or not in your state. By the way, the feds are targeting growers and businesses in states where pot has been legalized.
Please look at the larger picture of the USA's state of affairs. By the way, millions of innocent men and women have been killed by drones, soldiers, and mercenary groups in Iraq because of the kneejerk hysteria and propaganda of 9/11. None of the hijackers were from Iraq, not a single one.
Godfuckingdamnit, the media is such a shitty propaganda tool as well.
I am not a conspiratard, I am not saying 9/11 was or wasn't an inside job, or that aliens are real, but I do know that by being a citizen of the united states, I am contributing to the deaths of innocent people. I know that I am supporting unfair imprisonment of my fellow men and women, wage slavery, corruption, brainwashing, eco-terrorism and motherfucking murder.
I know that the state of affairs isn't "turning around" either. The people in power whether they be politicians or corporate cock suckers (not that there is anything with cock sucking) are winning.
-
I know, it makes me sick, but there still or more of 'us' then 'them' and it starts with fixing yourself and spreading the knowledge..
-
We are the proles.
Read 1984 to get an idea of why it doesn't matter that we out number them. The masses don't care, they don't understand, or they don't trust what anyone has to say. Brainwashing has shifted our priorities, conditioned public consciousness, and created this fucked up social discourse of how civic liberties aren't needed in this post 9/11 world since big brother knows best.
You can educate, but it only goes so far for so long until even the people you turn become jaded. Everyone else becomes an activist/ target of the state.
-
Also why should the majority of people care if they feel comfortable sitting in their metaphorical shit?
That's enough angst for one night.
Ciao.

Haha if you don't think aliens are real than that is pretty crazy ^^ Or maybe you don't quite fully grasp the vast scope of the universe. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an intergalactic battle for resources between alien nations right now...
Also the corporate dick munchers and politicians may be winning now, but their time will come (whether they expire from age or lose everything they have) cause time will go on and new changes will happen! Sure the media and our culture has slowly deteriorated people's capacity to think past the comforts of materialism and false livelihood but there are also many that are aware of America's slow fall from the world stage and core values. One of these days, hopefully, I believe that American's will realize their true core values and what the American dream is really built on: hard work, dedication, and freedom of thought.
If not, then it's just going to make life harder for Americans. I wouldn't blame anyone for leaving because there are now many places with better opportunities, but who doesn't love a great comeback?
-
Honestly, being the first nation in the world that strongly stands behind capitalism and democracy (although it may not be so much anymore), we were bound to shoot ourselves in the foot. Does it really surprise greed and power has royally fucked us?
-
I like to think of humans more of like mushrooms than a virus.. we adapt and grow creatively
-
Its a crazy idea of living is such an industry of a country..
And I do believe there are more than one race of higher beings on this planet, dimensions, yadda yadda
Im high on MDA and sweating.. what do you think of that? HA
-
its nice here, if you are really here
other places are nice, but when you get there
you're still here
-
Eh it could be a lot worse. What if you were born in some shit hole in Africa or the Middle East. America sure isn't a perfect place to live but be grateful you were dealt a good hand when you came into this world.
-
Weed is legal in a few states like Washington, but the movement gets hurt by dumb people like some lady that let her two year old take a bong hit while she recorded it on her phones camera. She got busted.
-
Yeah people do what they can.. Im grateful thats for sure.. If I could do it over again Id be right here sort of thing.. This is exactly how I imagined this conversation going btw :D
