I am making my first order today. Basically my question is when I add the item to my cart and it asks for my information do I just Encrypt my information in the box and confirm my payment? Thats basically how I am understanding. I have the vendors Key but have never messaged the vendor nor contacted them. This may sound confusing/stupid question but any help would be wonderful.
Thank you for your time!

You got it correct.
Correct your information to the vendor key and send. :)

As noted above, you got it! Just encrypt your address and send the order away. Typically it isn't necessary to make additional contact unless you have a special request or specific question about that vendor's offerings. :D
Enjoy your stay on the Road!

truthfully, there are buyers who simply put in their info without encryption and feel its safe. Others encrypt their info as an added layer of safety. If you're familiar with PGP, then feel free to put your key in the info box at check out along with your encrypted name and address.

Another good point. The majority of buyers that we've had don't bother to encrypt their address. SR does [supposedly] encrypt all messages sent through the message system... so it's definitely your call. Some people do like the added layer of security as cindelle mentioned.
