Title: Likelihood of LSD Degradation
Post by: hengyr on July 20, 2012, 10:19 pm
Okay, so I have two hits of VitaCat's Mayan blotters in my room. I'm 19 and I live with my Mom and brother so I don't want to risk putting them in the freezer of the house. Anyway, yesterday the air conditioning broke down sometime in the middle of the day, and the house was in the upper 80s/low 90s indoors! It felt like a fucking furnace, but this morning we called a technician to repair the air conditioning and now it's back to room temperature.

So, the blotters are still in the plastic baggie, sitting in a black satchel bag at the bottom of my dresser, so there's minimal exposure to light or air, but I'm wondering how easily they might've degraded in the space of that one day without air conditioning.

Pretty close to 0%.  Don't worry about it.

I live in the middle of the desert in Arizona, which I'd like to mention has the greatest number of locations named after Hell out of the entire country and possible the world, and despite temperatures getting well above 110°F during the summer I've managed to keep acid in the same conditions as you with no noticeable detriment over several months. DMT on the other hand is a different story, leave that in the wrong place for an afternoon and it turns into a fucking puddle. :'(
