Can somebody tell us what exactly the wording was? or can the person who got it in his signature post it ?
something about much less people would be caught if it weren't for all these idiots talking to police
cheers

i remember that, it was "never ever, ever talk to the police, we would have won a lot less cases if people never talked.
something like that.

Yes exactly that one :)
But quotes need to be word by word correct :)

I just saw that damn quote yesterday in someone's signature while browsing the forums. I'm sure if you looked through some of the recent threads you could find it.

+1 for liking my .sig - you are the only one to ever comment on it. Makes a nice ending to the forums for me. I am gonna get gone. Too much lost revenue. Back to the streets for me.
Best of luck everyone, Long Live Silk Road!
Peace,
Modzi

I'm always suspicious an actual, qualified lawyer would have demonstrated such a poor grasp of grammar.
Surely it should have been: "One piece of advice I can give everyone is to never, NEVER talk to the cops. Always ask for a lawyer. If people didn't talk we would have solved a lot fewer cases."

You fools!! This is grossly misquoted.
HJ Anslinger was not a (real or otherwise) prosecutor on SR!!
Harry Anslinger was a prohibition commisioner who live in the 1930. His quote implies it has something to do with SR, modern times, or even HJAnslinger was saying that to protect people's civil rights- BECAUSE HJ ANSLINGER NEVER SAID THAT!!
This is what he said:
Anslinger has been accused Template:By Who? to be responsible for racial themes in articles against marijuana in the 1930s.
“By the tons it is coming into this country — the deadly, dreadful poison that racks and tears not only the body, but the very heart and soul of every human being who once becomes a slave to it in any of its cruel and devastating forms…. Marihuana is a short cut to the insane asylum. Smoke marihuana cigarettes for a month and what was once your brain will be nothing but a storehouse of horrid specters. Hasheesh makes a murderer who kills for the love of killing out of the mildest mannered man who ever laughed at the idea that any habit could ever get him….”[14]
"Colored students at the Univ. of Minn. partying with (white) female students, smoking [marijuana] and getting their sympathy with stories of racial persecution. Result: pregnancy"[15][16]
"Two Negros took a girl fourteen years old and kept her for two days under the influence of hemp. Upon recovery she was found to be suffering from syphilis."[16][17]
There was an idiot who pretended to be a lawyer who may have said that will 100 bullshit comments.

I've always been suspicious of how you can denigrate someone's grammar, when it should have been:
" One piece of advice I can offer everyone ,is to never EVER, talk to the Cops. Always ask for a Lawyer. We would have solved considerably fewer cases, had people exercised their right to remain silent"
-
I screwed a federal prosecutor's daughter once, got her hooked on smack, does that count?

First, I do not claim to be a lawyer.
Second, I do not understand that first comma (nor the space before it). For that matter the final comma is completely bonkers.
Third, I intentionally did not rewrite the quote, just corrected the existing syntax, though I do agree with considerably over lots and would also personally hesitate before repetition.

Great!
