I've got about 20 things in the orders queue at the moment and most of them are 5+ days old and I'm 100% certain that at least 10 have arrived!
Is this a common problem here? People place an order and then *woosh* disappear and wait for the countdown?
I'm not worried as I have money but it's a bit of a pain - and I'm looking forwards to getting my refund for purchasing vendor account which was like $500!

As another wise vendor once told me, "Welcome to the world of vending"...
You could choose to do as I do and simply choose not to continue working with those customers that let it auto-finalize or are chronically late in finalizing... it does suck though but once you have a large inventory you simply consider it money in the bank...

Good advice I guess...
What happens if it reaches the end of the period and nothing's happened? auto-finalization?

Yup, and they get a ding on their buyer reputation. Beware though, I've had a couple that have waited until just a few hours before auto-finalize would kick in, and then they finalize. Same thing IMO, they still go on the personal blacklist.

I don't understand why they would do that...

Maybe they just like the feeling of being in control?
Honestly pretty strange behavior though.

Who knows, but it was annoying. Even stranger was that a month after that, one of them left a glowing 5/5 feedback. I don't understand some people.

I have 2 in the q right now.....both repeat customers that will auto-finalize tomorrow.......sent them messages 10 days ago.....they have not been read.......it BS.....but what can you do about it. :)

I think some people tear the package open the moment it arrives, dive right in, and then lose touch with reality for a few days. Or if the person has no more money in their account at the moment maybe they purposely don't log back in for a while so as to not be tempted by things they don't have the money for at the moment anyway. It doesn't mean it's right for the customer to let it autofinalize. I was taught that being a good customer means finalizing your order within 24 hours of receiving it.

Now that is awesome....^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ :)...+1

Given the nature of psychedelics (what I mostly order) I cannot do this myself, but I think part of the finalization process is making sure you got what you paid for and testing the product out, be it chemical or good old-fashioned taste testing. It's pretty unlikely I'll drop acid the minute I rip open the envelope, so I finalize on arrival, but I see the merit in waiting a day or two after touch down to get high and make sure your molly's not RCs/coke's not speed/heroin's not sand. According to threads that have popped up once in a while, this type of waiting has saved a handful from scams.

Totally makes sense, but one thing I think a lot of people are unaware of is that you can finalize and then at a later point in time go back and change your feedback once you've had an opportunity to taste-test the product. I know vendors appreciate this because it releases the funds into their disposal so they can continue to keep their supply chain running smoothly.

I always have orders that have arrived and the user's have not finalized.

Well it is true that they could end up chomping down 50 benzos and disappearing from the world for a week...
I finalize on arrival though.
