The Road
Based on Cormac McCarthy novel
Post Anarchy, the grey line between what is 'good' and 'bad', 'right' and 'wrong', ultra liberalism and the natural trend of finding order. A fine study indeed. It is a beautiful film.
EDIT: I fucking hate the term order in that context. I change it to balance...finding balance. Consider Anarchy the human storm necessary to re-establishing balance within the natural environment.
Writing this I realise that we are a water planet and water always finds it's own level. Thus we are here :-)
** SPOILER ALERT **
Teaching his son how to use a gun on himself with their last remaining bullet, wife walking into the wild to save her family from witnessing what could happen to her, when the main character accuses an innocent man of theft then proceeding to cross the line (or pushed) and becoming the thief - inevitably becoming everything he fought to protect.
I only signed up for the book club - keep 'em coming - great work.
