So, I'm getting ready to get some Bitcoins come August once my finances are ready and I come across around 5,000... I'd like to really put my city on with some quality buds/trips/thrills... Too many people here in the Midwest are tweaking or taking prescription pills... and Me as a hippy and lightworker am willing to go through the daunting task of using the SR to do so... I really hope no one flames me and says I'm a noob on the site (which I am) but I am a pretty well respected and highly intelligent alternative pharmacist in my city... I AM 100% serious. I want to build rapport with my future provider... as well as learn the best way to use SR. Let's talk?

I would start buying small quantities to build up your transaction history, then start building trust with vendors that sell products you are after and then finally once you have built trust with vendors you like ask them for a bulk deal because if you just ask for bulk with little to no transactions history you'll get ignored.

A-fuckin-men. Midwesterner here and the sheer volume of tweakers is overwhelming.
Regarding your question:
-- Watch the market. BTC flux - they're pretty steady right now but a month ago they were $5. Now they're bordering on $9. If you see em drop, go for the kill.
-- Buy in small amounts at first as Delta recommended. You don't want to sink your whole wad on one guy and gods forbid he screw you.
-- Make your first few purchases on SR small ones. Again, you don't want to sink your whole wad and get ripped off. Shop around and find the vendor(s) you trust.
-- NEVER FE. EVER. Escrow is EVERYONE's friend.
-- Be safe, but not overly paranoid.
-- NEVER use a fake name or address. That's how you get caught.
-- If you're worried your package has been compromised or flagged after delivery, set it aside, write "RETURN TO SENDER" on the package and wait a few days. If someone starts asking around, feign ignorance and say you weren't expecting anything and was planning on returning it.
-- Learn how to encrypt. Not SUPER hard but once you learn it, you're covering both your and your vendors' asses.
Finally, have fun!
Welcome to SR!

Thank you for the responses! :) Here's what my plan is: Once I get this money... I'm going to take $500ish and get the Bitcoins and make 5 small purchases of different things... **What I'll be looking for is QUALITY LSD (I got lots of Hippie friends around here who'll be forever indebted), STRAIN-NAMED GANJA...MUSHROOMS...(My personal favorite DMT)... and MDMA (Maybe)... But after I get a little of it circulating and let everyone who needs to know, know...I'll discuss then the Bulk of one or two of the products and then switch them out periodically... I think that once I generate some rapport with someone who would be willing to REALLY get a "Business" going... I am absolutely serious and ambitious... I want to get the enlightening chemicals out and about... And I know how it is because years prior to losing our Mexican connect we were going through a pound of nug a day... at 3K a LB and 10/g for the locals it's like candy... anywho, I'll begin watching the Flux... And what Is Escrow?

Escrow is a feature built in to SR to protect you and the vendor; but mostly you as a buyer.
When you purchase a listing from a vendor, that vendor does NOT get your money. That money goes to a trusted 3rd party. In this case SR. Thats what they do. SR holds the funds while the product ships, until you get it then come back to the site and say "this vendor is killer awesome, thanks for the great, bud/SHROOMS ;) whatever." You then release the escrow with the click of a mouse and that vendor gets paid.
If things don't go as smoothly, SR has the funds and the Vendor can not just up and disappear. Escrow holds everyone accountable a bit ;)
The act of coming back to SR and releasing the payment is called "Finalizing"
"Finalizing Early" - is the vendor asking you to release the funds out of escrow before you ever received the product. This alone is not inherently a scam if they ask, but you have no recourse other then bad feedback if you never get the product. Its a practice that is not smiled upon, but there are plenty of legit vendors on here that require you to "FE" either as a new buyer or all the time, so that their cash flow can keep new product coming in.

That "escrow" information is really important! Thank you I was wondering what that meant haha... I haven't been super active at the moment on here but I'm going to be learning encryption and such next. Thanks for all those who've replied! And Shroomeister, we'll probably be talking again :) Let's see...What else can I learn?
