Nah bob marley is thr best

really surprised nobody thought to mention heroin by the velvet undrground. Almost every musician I like used drugs in one form or another though and it shows in the music. Ween is perhaps my favorite band.

Probably Macklemore's The Magic. Really embodies my own view of psychedelics:
And to the magic
Forgot that you can't plan it.
It's always there in front of us
Just trust and it happens.
And the star dust from the universe of this planet
I just get stressed when I try to understand it
And I remember the magic,
Forgot that you can't plan it.
It's always there in front of us
Just trust and it happens.
And the star dust from the universe of this planet
It's always there, you can't try to understand it.
[Speaking]
Have you ever done hallucinogenics?
Children don't get it twisted, I'm not reccomending.
[Rapping]
But it's not fried brains and hippies and kids jumpin' off buildings
It can be spiritual epiphanies and medicine.
Now I first tried shrooms when I was 16,
And the universe became more interesting.
I began to contemplate my place in this landscape
And reflect on what it meant to be a human being.
What I went through felt as though I dreamt it.
Through my experience, became aware of my breath, then
Began to cultivate my art with the intention of the heart,
Started to use my sentences as reflections.
And what I saw was God was in all of us and we all come to be interconnected.
And all that was depended on all of us
And had effects like a domino when you let it.
Go with the flow, that the universe holds.
Understand that there's more than you expected.
I don't do shrooms anymore 'cause I don't need to explore.
All that I was looking for was was the present.
And I remember the magic,
Forgot that you can't plan it.
It's always there in front of us
Just trust and it happens.
And the star dust from the universe of this planet
I just get stressed when I try to understand it.
And I remember the magic,
Forgot that I can't plan it.
It's always there in front of us
Just trust and it happens.
And the star dust from the universe of this planet
It's always there, you can't try to understand it.

(He'll Never Be An) Ol' Man River

This! ^^^^ For those of you unfamiliar with this great rock parody (did it ever get released in the US?UK/EU?)
Here are the lyrics
I saw his body thrashing round.
I saw his heart rate going down.
I saw him in convulsive throes.
I said, "I'll have one of those."
Hillary had Everest in his veins;
Armstrong did moon, was never the same -
Heroes explore to give us hope:
River Phoenix pushed back the envelope.
I drank the slab that Bon Scott drunk;
I injected some of Hendrix's junk;
I booked a seat on Lynyrd Skynyrd's plane;
Mama Cass's sandwich? - I ate the same.
But now I'm bored and there's no stoppin' -
I need another celeb to fill a coffin.
Where will I get my next drug action?
Odds on it will be Michael Jackson.
(Heh! They were almost right about that! IIRC, Anna Nicole Smith was the only O/D celeb between Phoenix and Jackson)
It's worth going to the clearnet here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sJGvmBiNiDY, then playing fucken' LOUD!

Almost any non commercial music but sometimes a good band hits the charts.
I go to a lot of gigs of unknown bands just starting offf.
I have no fav tune for drug use but I'd say you cannot go wrong id 20 mates are back for a drinjk and smoke and you put on the Bob Marley album 'Uprising'.
;D
Anyone who objected, eject them for being impolite and disrespectful to our Bob.
