and why? please answer if you've seriously thought this out.

Switzerland. That is a serious answer, but I'm too lazy to detail my reasons why.
-
it's at the top of my list too. but i haven't traveled enough to really know what's up.
-
Ditto. Osaka, Japan is another possibility but the cultural and cost-of-living stresses might be too much for me.
-
switzerland is a beautiful country, very clean but expensive - and fucking winter is long, cold and wet or snow covered. On the up side the prisons are like hotels: you're allowed to order one meal a week from a restuarant of your choice, and allowed to go to a social event (movie, theatre etc) once a week unless you're Lector Hannibal
haven't picked the country yet, but it will be in south america, and be so poor it couldn't afford a name, where the politicians, once bribed have the fucking decency to stay bribed, and has cable, and where UPS & Dominoes delivers. Belize almost fits that descript, Costa Rico comes close as well

Canada, taxes are high but way less than my medical bills.Plus I could grow my own medicine, and save a shit ton of money there. Not to mention the illegality of me using my medicine as I don't live in an mmj state. I just hate cold and snow.

What if you never lived in US anyway

Definitely Czech Republic.

Their drug policies do look favorable. I just wish I didn't have such an issue with the language barrier.

This is tough if you have family and friends, but some of us don't. I know that feeling
Because of prices probably somewhere in latin america, if I was rich I would just not live anywhere and travel from the Caribbean to Europe to Large citys in the states to Hawaii to Latin America and on. The problem is how do you get what you want?
-
Japan because I was supposed to be stationed there and I got robbed when I got a medical discharge during boot camp

My niggers! Yes Absolutely Japan, I love the culture, the food, the women, the climate as well. Visited there twice for holiday, love snowboarding there as well, the only issue is as stated, society and work looks very stressful. And the drug laws are terribly harsh, it may be just as bad as my own country, but at least its easy to obtain drugs here anyways, whereas Japan must be expensive as fuck, and I'd be shit scared ordering from SR in Japan.
Oh my bad I don't live in the states
-
Western Europe (particularly Belgium, Netherlands or Switzerland) or Japan.
-
as long as SR continues to work so good - i think i'm gonna stay right here.
however, there is a lot to like about western canada...

Then count your lucky stars... you're probably in a better position than most of us who do.
Maybe I sound cynical... and to be honest, I've barely been to any other countries.... so with that said, from my perspective, I think I'd like to go to just about any other country except for N. Korea.
I hear the Scandinavian countries are less strict on their drug policy.... or was that Norwegian??? :o Somewhere around there....
-
I hear Costa Rica is pretty awesome.

OZ!!! Lots of work in my field, low tax, great beaches, fucking massive, beautiful women, no need to learn a second language.
In fact, what am I doing here !?!

Have you ever tried to get in there (beyond the 3 week visitor's visa)? Unless you're born there or marry someone there (even that only sometimes works), that country is nearly impossible to move to... believe me... some years back... I really, really tried hard to move there.. not so easy....

Belize.
Not densly populated. Probly the nicest people I've ever met in the world. Just love the country.
Warm tropical and amazing fishing. You could live on the ocean with no neihbors and be secluded. Low cost of living without the attachment to most technology. Exactly what I want
