Title: Quick bitcoin tip for a newjack!
Post by: spaceghost1 on August 30, 2012, 04:22 am
I realize the information is readily available, but being a newbie potential customer it is a little overwhelming.

So please correct me if I'm wrong, I can use...

BitInstant > Moneygram in Walmart > SR account?

After I deposit the money should I use another service as a "wallet" to receive the funds? Or do I just use that number provided in my profile as the directory to deposit funds into?

I realize steps can be taken to further protect myself but I'm not trying to drain my 401k here folks just want to make a few purchases  ;)

See you space cowboys!

Slow down mate..

After you deposit the money where?  At Walmart?  By that time, the rest of the deal is carved in stone. Either your BTC are where you want them, or your cash is gone and  you've got nothing.  It's overwhelming at first, but all you have to do is slow down and go over things several times.

Learn what this excellent guide is trying to tell you. Read the whole thing.  Get yourself an anonymous email account somewhere first.  Then check out BitInstant.com and InstaWallet.org.  Do a couple of test transactions without actually depositing any money.  Just get the feel of things.

You're right about one thing.. the information is readily available. So read it. Don't spend any cash until you are clear on what you're doing, unless you want to kiss your money goodbye for good.
