I just started on SR and have only made a few purchases. So far everything has come through ok but I do see a lot of comments regarding siezures and love letters.
They never really say what it was that was siezed and I was wondering what precentage of substances were captured over others.
I would asume that cannabis would be intercepted most because of the smell. But how much more likely than pills? powders or liquids?
-
defiantly weed would be caught most, the bulkiness, the smell not to mention because there would be more of it then other drugs in the mail, more of it in general = more in the mail i guess. most popular "illicit" drug in the world.
i imagine pills is an x-ray signature that would almost always get the package opened, keeping in mind hardly anything gets x-rayed. i like powders because of their thinness. never had liquids sent but i imagine if the seller is a little creative with it they could be very easy to send, small amounts of odd colored/odd smelling liquid are perfectly at home in tons of make up/ make up remover/ perfume type products, pick cheap ones, empty out, include short note saying i know how you miss whatever brand they dont have there when sending

@brockeh. Thanx. That is kind of what I figured.
Also. How often (if ever) does anyone have packages seized? Is it just an inevitable occurrence, or is it mostly just the result of careless vendors?
For me, I think if my success is greater than at least 90% it would be acceptable.

i have had 2 of 7 not show up, but im in Australia and customs here are kinda notorious :( no love letters so i dont actually know they were discovered. reputable vendors, hard to say what happened.
from what ive read the chances of your package getting searched seems very strongly up to the standard of the packaging. also there are 'high risk' countries ive heard. there is a small amount of luck involved.

You don't have to say if you don't want to give out too much info, but just wondering which ones didn't arrive? I'm in Australia too, still yet to order anything. Still waiting on my coins to come through!! :'(

2 of 7?! That doesn't sound encouraging. But then I'm in the states and mostly plan to deal with local vendors. At least you don't ever here about arrests and prosecutions.

chrispo, one was 150mg of dmt the other was 1g of mdma, they were both in transit at the same time so one might have got the other caught i suppose. but had a gram of coke show up that was also in transit swoot ;)
made me pretty paranoid to order to this address again, only just placed a super small tester order recently
sickboy, domestic is a completely different ball game, if i was living in America i would probably have about 80% less worry to do with SR orders.

weed is not seized as much as you think, but you're right....sheer traffic of it yield the amount of seizes.
the simple answer to the actual post is "substances that aren't packaged right" ;)
however, cocaine and heroin are the focus of LE, and they look for lots of shit. smell is a very big factor but think about all the shapes and forms.
people stuff their asses with C and H, build lamps, furniture, fucking anything.....the desperate nature and high demand make it so.
powders are safest because of their footprint (none). vapor-sealing is a new technique that far surpasses triple vacuuming.
what gets weed intercepted when things are sealed - is the ability for LE to place a pin into the box and penetrate all seals.
I know it's done, I've seen it done, and luckily I have never been a victim of it. LE can find any corner, any excuse - to insert that pin.
Probable cause is all up in their mouth like bad breath.
the dog then goes apeshit at the small hole, which has pure reek coming from it, and voila you're done.
this is why you line your parcel with solid material when in doubt. x-ray is not so much of a concern, but also a great idea to shield against.
fuck the police.

NL to AUS shipping. Mazzive red flags on all mail from the Netherlands to Australia.

Agreed on that. 1 success from 3 in the last month here.

seems like staying within your own border is the way to go. people need to get creative when packaging products. for coke, maybe find a way to put it inside something hollow and metal that looks like a part from a belt buckle or bolt or screw or something. weed is definitely harder because you want to preserve the cola and the smell is so intense. the thing i'm worried about most is using the same post offices over and over. i dont even want to go inside them anymore. i would also suggest switching up your packaging every so often so all your packages don't look the same.

Received 2 out of 2 - NL to Aus (East Coast)

I feel bad for y'all. I've heard so many Australian horror stories, that I can't help but assume that most of you will, at one point, get a package seized. :(

True. I've only ordered NL => AUS (NT) twice, eBay, just DVDs, both times the packages were carelessly sliced open and the DVDs fucked as gifts.
I can't imagine they'd go any gentler on a discrete envelope.

I've never really heard of USA to USA packages getting confiscated, blows my mind that some people have seized packages USA-USA.
Most illicit drug confiscated has to be marijuana, think about the supply+demand.
Most sought out substance.

Coke and H are the stuff that get busted most at airports I think. Smugglers hiding shit into the constructions of their luggage bags etc.
Maryjane and hash are seized a lot by border customs, being hided into car parts etc.
Mail is just a huge mixing pot of all drugs and RCs I think. Basically as someone mentioned, the stuff that gets busted is usually the stuff that hasn't been packed right. They emit too much odor which gets picked up by dogs or these new machines that pick up drug molecules from the air.
Also inconsistent letters, packets are usually spotted out for more closer inspection. Customs might spot organic substances of high consistency in the middle of a letter or packet while x-raying it and might find your goods hidden.
But yea, I guess the most seized shit could possibly be Maryjane, H and coke.
Cannabis is seized a lot because well, it's a drug that is being shipped a lot. H and coke are the ones that LE really focuses on because they can yield a huge amount of currency for the gangs smuggling them.
But if you meant that what gets seized most when ordering from sr, it's basically the shit that has been badly packaged. Anything is pretty easy to get through in relatively small quantities if you take care of the packaging.

Iv had 5 out of 7 arrive from NL > Aus so it makes me curious if it is actually customs stopping it or a vendor being a little bit sneaky sneaky, not pointing any fingers........Yet 8)

I agree about Australia being notorious for seizures...anyone in any doubt should watch that TV series Australian Customs whatever its called.. you can see how sophisticated and careful they are at checking all international packages.. From what I've seen of the many seizures, most were down to the eagle eyed Customs officers comparing the description of the goods on the declaration to how the item looked on the scanner. If they spot anything looking wrapped up or designed to conceal, they open up for a closer look. Anything without a declaration = opened and examination.
Pills and weed on a scanner are an immediate dead giveaway. Even very clever attempts to conceal by putting products inside talcum powder products or into a book etc show up.
I think a clever way would be to get a dirt cheap product like vitamins with capsules, take out the contents of caps and fill it with whatever you're sending. .You can even buy empty bottles and loose caps dirt cheap and print your own professional looking labels.... If you're sending E or other powdered drugs, just put a black marker dot on the cap(s) which has the drugs in. And re-seal the top of the vitamins so it looks legit. Make the entire package look like its come from a business..printed address label XYZ Vitamins return address etc... anything you can do to make it look like its come from a business and a normal purchase rather than a one-off will reduce the risk of the package being scanned and checked. You could even go as far as setting up a bogus website if you wanted to look totally legit.
Weed must be one of the hardest things to send overseas and get through Customs and I personally would not risk buying it overseas unless you have a very safe way of receiving it without getting your address discovered. Why risk prison or a big fine eh.

wow, sorry to hear that bad stories from australian customers...
i do have a regular "customer" from there and we have had a word, before i "was allowed" to ship to him... he was also very paranoid, because of the customs in his country... i've sent him five deliveries this year, not more than 10gr./ order, always arrived safely! one time, i've used a "dvd-case", which arrived as well, but he has asked me, that i shouldn't do this again...
here a nice article about - "SAFE SHIPPING OF DRUG MAIL" (actually, no vendor would be able to consider all the points for shipping, because when you stick to the article, it's almost impossible to ship drugs, haha...)

i know, it's the hardest thing of all, but PEOPLE - GET YOUR "PRIVATE DEAD MAILBOX"!!

The most seized would be the bulky substances; weed mostly. However the only pack I;ve ever had seized was an order of 10 vials of Ketamine and 1000 xanax coming from Pakistan....Thats a tough one to conceal.
-
Weed is definitely seized the most because its the easiest to find and its sent the most. However, the origin of the package also greatly effects the scrutiny the package is given by customs.

This is my #1 deciding factor on who I order from. There are hot-spots that are flagged immediately, India and Colombia being 2.
The packaging itself is also huge. The 1 pack I had seized was an oblong cardboard box wrapped in canvas and dipped in wax on both ends.....I would think that would stand out once it reached US Customs, especially coming from Pakistan.

Weed in bud form for sure, but if you bake it into brownies there is pretty much no way of getting caught.
