This things pretty interesting. For a half a btc investment you gain residual income potentially forever. Ive only been in 2 rounds and already quadrupled my investment. Try it out. Use my link please or the reference will be placed randomly. Ideally all of us here on Silk should get in on this :)

Nice, Internet/bitcoin ponzi scheme

It was only a matter of time before that BS came to Bitcoin.

Free money... BS? How? Maybe an exploitation. But definitely legitimate.
-
So far, all of the scams foisted on the BTC economy and community had at least a veneer of legitimacy.
Now comes one that *guarantees* the people who last join it will be ripped off and receive nothing.
I'm sure a big page full of HYIP BTC investment funds is just around the corner. :P
I wonder if SR would give me a special product category where I could sell the Mona Lisa and the Brooklyn Bridge. ::)

Then make sure you arent the last by promoting it... My method is having multiple verified accounts all linked to each other by chain. Therefore improving my chances at random referals & paying myself back for initial investments simultaneously. Now 3 rounds in I have made back more than my total investments combined :)

Oh, what the hell. Might as well... hope it catches on ;)

Hmmm.. free money? Sounds too good to be true... But then again, when I heard about an online drug market where you can buy any drug imaginable it sounded too good to be true as well ;)

annoying
Making money, when/if possible, involves scamming other people. Joining this means you either are foolish enough to get cheated or willing to cheat others who are trusting.
Not only would I avoid this, but I highly suggest not doing any business with anyone involved. They are either dishonest or foolish.

Then I must be quite foolish because I am certainly far from dishonest. And according to Bud you should avoid dealings with me... LoL. Yet at the end of the day I still see only profit :)
Either way heres a good Ponzi. 3.5BTC jackpot. 2.5BTC max bid. You only need to be last to bid to take the jackpot. IM up about 3BTC off this one as of now. Farewell :)

This demonstrates a willingness to screw other people. In Ponzi schemes, there's always someone left with nothing. Bad for your rep and bad karma Mr. Crane.

foolish or dishonest, take your pick
Yes avoid doing business with anyone who participates.

I'm truly, utterly and completely sorry to see this thread/novelty idea populating the Silk Road forum.
I was hoping that as other sane, quiet, intelligent minds spoke forth on this subject that all involved would take a second look and realize the futility of this pursuit. It is quite obvious now that this will not be the road taken by some.
I have to agree with Kind Bud and redtide *emphatically* in that a willingness to participate shows a lack of good, common sense and also a willingness to see others get screwed. My take also is that people willing to participate will find, much to their dismay and probably they will never admit to the forum, that they bet "once too often" and the last set of bets lost more than their lifetime of "winnings". The empirical ratcheting upward of the bets makes this an absolute certainty. And what is the probability that the person who would initiate such tomfoolery would also turn out to be a scammer, a la MyBitCoin? I put the odds at 1000%.
It can only be properly termed "harm reduction" to also advise not doing business with anyone who participates. Foolishness in ones private life inevitably carries over to ones business life as well. Which is a shame, because despite having made a hodgepodge of his initial listings and insisting on his wacky capitalizations, MR. CranE has proven to be a trustworthy seller on SR and I kind of liked his style. Pity.

It sounds like people know what they are getting into and willingly choosing to do so. I am not going to do it because I realize it sounds like a boring way to lose money.
"A willingness to see others get screwed" is basically gambling. Everyone knows that someone has to lose for someone else to win - its not evil. Everyone goes in knowing the risks and hoping for the best.
Mr. Crane is an honest dealer and shouldn't be boycotted simply for playing a ponzi scheme game - he isn't trying to steal your money, just turn you on to something he has found to be fun. Now saying you are guaranteed to win is complete bullshit and has no place when discussing ponzi schemes or pyramid schemes.
It looks just like another form of gambling.

Thank you sir. Thats exactly what it is. A gamble. I am not forcing it upon simply relaying the information to you so you can make a decision. Thats it. Hate me for it, or dont. Its your choice. It worked for me & Im only telling you all because I think it could work dfor you as well. If you disagree then thats fine but, it does not make me a bad person or a scammer. Nor would I consider myself to be a fool :)

no. It's a con game. You can construct whatever justification you want. It's still dishonest.

Another good one. Fully automated. Jackpot up to 10BTC! Round ends soon. Take that pot home :)
