Title: BTCKing
Post by: Phainomai on September 14, 2012, 01:52 am
I'll admit it, newbie here. About to buy my first batch of BTC to get the ball rolling. BTCKing seem to have some awesome reviews, thinking about buying from them. I understand they take some money off the top, I'm okay with that. Just want to make sure they keep it anonymous.

If I do it through them I do not have to make a MtGox or anything correct? They will deposit it directly into my SR account?\

Thanks Dudes.

Your options vary depending on where you live. There are a few people that do bitcoin exchange, and yes, it will cost you extra. It is not hard to get bitcoins in a much safer manner. And when I say 'safer', I mean you have more control over the process. If you are in the US, I would recommend the bitinstant route. If you have a bank account, I would recommend the dwolla route. Bitinstant is fast. Dwolla takes 30 days to verify your account. Once you have your dwolla acount, you can transfer directly from your account to dwolla to coinapault to whatever account you want.

what does btcking base their btc value on? Seems close to 9% over mtgox.

I've been wondering the same thing -- the only info he gives is that it comes from an unspecified "Network"

BTCking is a damn quick trader, but be prepared to give away about 10-20% of your funds to fees and exorbitant rates
