Admittedly, this was a stupid move on my part, but what's done is done and now I need to know what risk I run.
I sent some personal information through a private message on the main site unencrypted. Bad move, I know, lesson learned. Anyway, after the recipient deletes the message from his inbox, what are the chances that the information in that message will come back to haunt me? For instance is this information going to be permanently stored somewhere where it can later be unearthed by LE in a worst case scenario situation?
In the buyer's guide it says when you are completing a purchase and it comes time to put in your address, there is some level of encryption that takes place to protect that information. Are there any such safety measures built in for private messages?

When the message is deleted it is gone forever... ...unless SR needs to restore a DB backup.
