Title: Mixing Wallet: Has anyone used Inputs.io online wallet?
Post by: neworldchaos on September 05, 2013, 09:14 pm
There has been a lot of press lately about Bitcoin's lack of true anonymity. It seems transactions can definitely be tracked as going into (though not coming out of) SR. Naturally that's a concern.

Recently on coindesk I read about an online wallet at a site called Inputs.io. Online wallets are risky in general, but this one seems different. They claim security is their #1 concern, and the business looks legit. https://inputs.io/faq#c4

They advertise "automatic free mixing for your privacy" and if you open a wallet on Tor, then you can access it from Tor from any IP (whereas non-Tor accounts must be accessed from the same IP).

Anyone have any experience with it? Seems like it might be a good fit for certain, ahem, activities.

blockchain.info does seem dependable as a straightforward wallet. But Inputs.io provides mixing, which is of especial interest to SR users. I'm surprised not to read about it at all here, as it's all over bitcointalk.org.

blockchain does offer tumbling i read up about it when i started using SR, alot of people use bitcoin fog as its in the tor network but they charge 1% i think and it takes hours to do and you need to remove the coins in multiple transactions instead of it doing it for you

Ah yes, I missed that! They call it Send Shared.

https://blockchain.info/wallet/send-shared

They charge 0.5%. Sounds like a decent deal.
