Title: from bitstamp to silkroad

im just wondering if anyone can help.would it be possible for me to go to my bank pay the money to bitstamp to get my bitcoins and then transfer them straight to sr from there.is it ok to do it this way.any help would do thanks

it is possible but some like to tumble their coins first for extra protection

Bitstamp --> SR should be no problem - if you want to stealth it transfer in two or more seperate transactions getting a new transfer address for each.
Where you may want to consider is the bank transfer from your personal account to bitstamp.
There is nothing illegal or anything about it but if your parcel is caught later and LE goes over your bank account they will be able to show that you have bought some bitcoins. They cannot of course show that you did anything criminal with it.
If you are just buying for personal use I wouldn't worry about it and just go ahead, just as I would not worry about using my personal address byuing for personal use.

If youre planning to buy larger amounts / reselling I would ensure there is not large transfers to and from bitcoing exchanges - that can be connected directly to myself just by a routine check of my accounts unless you have a cover story that will hold up to scrutiny.

I can add that bitstamp works very well and is easy to use. Have used them myself and can highly recommend them if you are from within EU.

busta just one thing can i go in with cash to my local bank and send money to bitstamp with the printout ill have with the 11 digit number on it.like instead of tranfering it from my bank account.

and busta id be only buyin personal ammounts.mickey mouse amounts really.well starting off anyways:)just till i know what im doin 100% thanks anyways uve eased my mind abit ;)
