Title: tormail list for sellers?
Post by: FenderGuitarMan on November 12, 2012, 04:30 pm
Most sellers show a tormail email address on their profile profile page  in case site ever goes down, I sure wish I had made a list of all my sellers! Anyone know of such a list?

I have faith SR will be back online soon, but in the meantime some of us are getting sick and need either arrange something with their sellers or find RL seller to hold off the sickness for a few days.

FWIW I'm in the north east and could use a RL hookup!

If you use PGP then you should have all your past vendors' email addresses in your key chain.

Only if they use their correct email address ... some are just using some fake stuff like a@b.c

Honestly, I'd go so far as to eliminating some of the less active, personal use only accounts. the point of this website is to spread useful medications and having everybody and their grandmother purchasing on here is eventually gonna bring a lot of unnecessary attention. DPR needs to think about whether it's worth the extra money he makes off commission (assuming he does, aside from paying employees  --- net profit) or keeping the idea of silk road alive. I might be creating my own thread on this topic as it is something I think about frequently and truly care about.

That's not very nice.  Who's to say what "active" is. I don't want packages in my mail every day for discretions sake. That doesn't give you the right to judge how active I am or fault me for personal use. Bad idea IMO!

I created a similar thread. When I get enough email address and info I will be making a document for everyone.

No it's exactly the opposite.
SR is a wonderful service to get stuff that's hard to find and a very nice alternative for the recreational user.  It was not built as a private board to offer convenience to resellers to make money more easily. Actually it would be a good idea to establish an upper limit for btc transactions to leave out resellers. That's what you call "dropping of unnecessary attention", since LE will be much more interested if the transactions get more bulky.

Making a thread with that idea might not go so well. >.<

This place isn't about "spreading useful medication," where did you get that? It's about freedom to purchase what we want, to do with our minds and bodies what we want.

I agree with that.
How does this comply with removing personal use accounts like human5 said?

SR is not a reseller oriented service, its about freedom to purchase what we want to use, not freedom to make big money abusing tor and SR capabilities. Eliminating "less active" accounts would turn SR into a B2B market.
