Title: Silk Road, my new addiction.
Post by: This Is Serious Mum on January 18, 2013, 05:16 am

Is it just me?

Since discovering Silk Road I've left Facebook and now spend the majority of my time reading the forums and salivating at all the pictures of all the goodies on offer.

I've been ensnared by my online addiction to this place.

How wonderful.

I'm addicted of selling here. It's just a perfect place, don't have to worry about police.

I also spend way too much time on here. But have been disappointed with my first few transactions. 2 out of 3 didn't arrive.

And the one that did arrive was the cheapest, of course.

Its just so legit, the amount of options to choose from is almost infinite! Saying if you dont live in a place like Oregon, Cali, Colorado for high quality nugs

Unlike Facebook, something exciting arrives in your mailbox.

Being addicted to SR is a whole hell of a lot better than being addicted to something found on SR.

Ya an addiction to silk road is cool and all but if you can funnel your addiction into the forums then you can actually learn a lot of good information that you would never be able to learn simply by browsing the site and eventually share it with others.

I totally agree here. It's tempting to spend all your time on SR, but really newbies should spend 100% of their time on the forums up to the first 5 hours, then 90% on the next 5. In order to keep yourself safe, I'd say 75% of your time should be spent reading on the forums (unless you are a vendor, of course).

sounds like wise advice!  I have been reading all day, the site is cool to browse sales but as soon as I get funds ready I want a sellers account!  it is wild how some items are good prices and some seem high...well I guess if they are cheap here more reason to sell

They only have 20 posts so im guessing they are a newb - that would have to be one hell of a meth/heroin dependency to lose ur shit that quick!

i love window shopping on SR - its great being able to window shop for large amounts of cocaine - if only i had money and a secure address :) prob good i dont.

no that was my real story but I have witnessed lives being destroyed by addiction hence is why I am probably more diligent with my habits. reason I only have 20 post is I decided to make a new account so that my sr buying account name wasnt the same as my foum one. I felt just a lil extra security wouldnt hurt since my other account only had reviews that i had done and would still have to make some bullshit post to get to 50..

sr has afforded me the oppertunity to hustle a bit more taking the cost of my habit down to 20cents on the dollar

I find myself on SR and these forums a lot since I always learn something that helps me with my security by reading how others do it.  I was very nervous about SR until I read heavily into bitcoin, Tor, security and best practices to keep safe.  No I can't stop reading.  This is very cool and exciting and I wish I had found this earlier.
