Title: Do you trust vendor feedback?

I've heard a lot of people complain about fake accounts for vendor feedback. Especially because aliases can be hidden -how do you interpret vendor feedback?

The ability to order feedback by weight will allow you to see real feedback, because feedback that carries the most weight is feedback that comes from people with long-term accounts and who have spent a lot of money - in other words not shill accounts.

The ability to order feedback by freshness will allow you to see if there is a chance the vendor has gone rogue recently.

In short, yes I do trust vendor feedback, but it is only one of the things I look at when choosing to do business. Other things are: are they active on this forum... are there detailed reviews on this forum... does the vendor have basic security in place like PGP... and so on.

Yea I think the new feedback system will be an improvement over the old one. honestly though the best information is in the forums. I always search the vendors name here before ordering.
