Thats why we use Vidalia with Tor... \
Cheers! 8)
The PGP or GPG program (i believe) doesnt have anything to do with IP. it just lets people send messages to certain people and those certain people are the only one(s) that can decrypt the message.. so in a nutshell. PGP'ing has nothing to do with IP addresses

OK I decided to take the PGP plunge myself. Maybe I should not use google but the main link to pgp gives me a re-direct to symantec where the only thing available is a trial version. I can get something called gpgforwin ( I have a windows 7 platform ) is this the same thing? I have to do some reading

GPG4USB is pretty slick and easy to use for our purposes. Kleopatra works but doesn't support direct clipboard operations. You definitely do not need to pay for software to use PGP.

Your IP is not stored in the keys.

Care to back up your claims.? I have been following the Snowden case intensely, and i dont believe he has said such thing at any point, so i would like to see some evidence!
Furthermore; you are talking about paying taxes, of this sites revenue. I'm not sure if you are really as stupid as you seem, or what is up, but i got one word for you: MONEY-LAUNDERING! Ever heard of that? Its actually quite a clever concept. See you run money through the system, while making it seem like they are legit in some way. There are numerous ways of doing this, but i dont think it would be productive to elaborate, as you do not seem to understand the concept of rational thinking!
Let me just ask you this: This crusade of panic-mongering you seem to be running against this place, is it just Silk-road you are trying to bash, or are you also trying to discredit BMR or ATLANTIS.?
I really think that this shit-spewing you seem to be jacking off to, is the lonely cry of a social looser, with no friends, no life, and no brains, so would you please leave the grown-ups alone, and get on your way? Pls, go spam reddit or some other shitforum instead, where the collective IQ is low enough to actually make people gullible enough to listen to your incoherent ramblings!
This is getting real old, real fast!!!
Last i would like to thank the admins, and mods for all of your awesome work, and the extreme patience you guys seem to be possessing. I know if it was me, i would really want to bash in the skull of this delusional fuck-tard!

You're entitled to your own beliefs but you're not entitled to your own facts, sorry.

It's been widely speculated and publicized (to those who bothered to pay notice) that all Microsoft Windows versions since Vista have had built-in NSA back doors. Anyone using Windows beyond XP is crazy.
Even with XP and 2000 it's likely that Microsoft pushed some NSA spyware through via Windows Updates.
I would like to read what he had to say about PGP though.

Why should I? ok lets kill snowden then.BMR & ATLANTIS etc etc are all the same entity.now bah bah
You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you can not fool all of the people all of the time.

Let's say LE find encrypted communications coming from you. To decrypt they would need the private key of your recipient, so first they would have to find out who that person is and specifically what computer they may be using to decrypt the message, so they need to know their IP address. They'd need to contact their ISP to find out which of their customers had that IP at the time they received the communication, then they'd somehow have to determine which computer they used that would have the private key. Then they use the "NSA backdoor" to access that computer to find the private key, but they'd still need to know the password to USE the private key.
You think your local PD or even the feds are doing all that just for your private stash?

If we're putting on our tinfoil hats (not an insult, I'm quite the tin-foil-hat myself.)
First of all any NSA backdoor would have a keylogger. They would have access to anything on your computer. This includes your keyring password. We would have to assume that any closed source operating system could watch your webcam, keylog you, or perform anything that RAT software could do and better becuase it would be natively integrated into the OS.
Anyone using a closed-source operating system for illegal activities is either self-destuctive or ignorant of the dangers of the surveillance state. Learn to use tails everyone.
