So yeah I have some extra funds left over from a couple purchases that I would like to turn back into cash and into my hands. How would a guy/gal go about that?
Thanks

So im becoming a vendor soon and this is the one aspect im confused about.
Okay i complete a bunch of purchases and have a bunch of bc's in my tsr account, how would i go about converting that to cash?
i was thinking withdrawing them to a mt.gox account then selling the bitcoins on there and taking the cash, but there's a 10,000 a month limit so if i ever got bigger than that what would i do?

Usually The Silk Road is abbreviated simply as SR not TSR.
Don't start out thinking huge. Start small. You can sell on mt.gox but I have been hearing some bad things about there of late. Depending on your nationality, there are plenty of smaller joints with good reviews. For example, I have a friend in Canada who uses https://canadianbitcoins.com/ and has put hundreds and hundreds at a time through them.
Considering the cost to become a vender, you might as well keep the coins there for use in the payment.
However, after that sell them as you wish.
Also, there are online wallets and of course the standard bitcoin program, which store bitcoins, and storage is good because though volatile, bitcoins ARE steadily increasing in value in spasms.

know any good ones for US?
and what exactly do you mean by you have been hearing bad things about mt.gox?
-
to withdraw coins from SR you just go to your acct page :P
send them to an exchange and cash out, mt gox has been working fine to buy coins for nearly everyone, and some exchanges you can even buy gold or prepaid debit cards etc you can withdraw from i believe
or buy drugs and sell them locally to cash out at a much better exchange rate
-
Easiest way for me personally are selling them at BitInstant or just buying more drugs and sell them locally.
-
I don't recommend telling these children to buy drugs and sell them locally. Let the drug buyers find SR and buy there.
You can use the exchanges to turn your BTC's to USD or your local equivalent, however if you keep pumping cash into your ban account from MtGox you are going to raise the interest of your local taxing authorities so you'd better declare the income and pay taxes.
The problem with that is you have created a beautiful money trail for the local constabulary to prove you have an ongoing illegal business should you ever get caught doing any transactions, hence you should look to use other forms of cashing out such as the previously mentioned prepaid cards.
The safest way may be to buy prepaid cards from one of the SR BTC sellers who take in cash and trade for BTC's. There you merely have to find one that does not rape your young ass.
Finally, you can use some of the services sold, and social engineering skills taught, on the hackers websites to acquire bank accounts in other people's names and set up multiple cash out trajectories diffuse enough to not draw the ire of authorities.

Not off the top of my head, no. I could look for you if you'd like? Modziw has a point with the card thing, as far as complexity and security, however you run risks at being scammed there, as I believe he said.
mt.gox, for one thing, reportedly tracks that you're using Tor. Not sure on this though.
I've also seen Threads here on Silk Road Forums talking about it not being reliable. Haven't opened these. I might do that today.
You're free to use mt.gox if you'd like, but there are practically as many bitcoin exchanges out there as there are bitcoins. The problem is finding a reliable one.
Like I said, I could do some digging on reliable US Bitcoin Exchanges for you. I am The Criminal Consultant after all. :)
Let me know.

What he said, Buy more drugs ad resell them. Pm me for my standard way of cashing out ;)

I guess my problem is- I CAN'T figure out how to get my bitcoins back into let's say an instawallet AFTER TRANSFERRING THEM TO SR...
There is an option to withdrawal from an instawallet, and there is an option to send BTC to another member, but NO OPTION to send to a wallet address.
I can figure out what to do once I get it there, just getting it there is the problem. Could someone please explain to me how to send BTC from my SR wallet to a wallet that is not on SR? It'd be greatly appreciated :).

So mt. gox is not very safe to cash out with? Im considering becoming a vendor but this has been one of my main concerns..

So is there an option on mt gox to withdraw from an instawallet? Because, as far as I can see, there is no way to send to instawallet from my SR account.
Please, if somebody could give me a quick how-to on how to get the funds from my SR account to another account or an instawallet I'd GREATLY appreciate it.
There's no option on my SR account page that I can find to send to another wallet, I can only send to another user name.
ANYBODY?
That's all I need....
Thanks

So... The withdraw function isn't to withdraw bitcoins FROM another account, but to send bitcoins TO another account/wallet? Semantics, eh? But, it seems that's the way I got btc ONTO my account in the first place, although I can't exactly remember if I used the send function on instawallet or not...
Thanks!
