Title: How does one make blotter tabs with accurate dosing?
Post by: painbow on September 07, 2012, 05:28 am
Let's say you want to make blotter tabs with 500ug on each tab.  How do you accurate dose that onto each individual tabs of blotting paper?

Do people use syringes to measure tiny amount of liquid and drop it on each tab?  or do people just immerse the whole sheet into a puddle of liquid?

They work out how much is absorbed per 1/4", then work out how much product they want per tab and add the extra amount of their solvent, like ethanol/chloroform.
Then they lay it over the blotter paper in a dish, and dry it (perferable horizontal to avoid the end of the sheet becoming more potent due to gravity).

You can also drop liquid on each tab.
There's a vendor I spoke to on here who does that.
Lightflower IIRC.

There's a tonne of ways to do it.
