Of course! Good ol' Battle Metal \m/ I have heard of most bands. I have been into Metal since 1983. I have approx 3,000 CS's, and 1,500 CDs. All Metal. Mostly Thrash, Death, & Black, but I go for other stuff, too!
When I am really high, I like hip-hop. Organic Hip-hop. Check out these bands: Drunken Immortals (album Soul Revolution is probably deeper than the sea!) Rehab, MTHDS, Shape Shifters, Dialogue.....it's all underground stuff, but if you can find it, you'll love it!
MUSIC MAKES THE WORLD GO ROUND!!!
Get cho muthah fuckin groove on!

I'm sure you'll enjoy! They were very lively this time around and played an amazing setlist with extended versions of a few songs! The performance and visuals they put on is quite an experience to say the least.

Is there a decent mediafire-esque site out there in onionland where one could hypothetically upload .zips of albums? If so I'm thinking I could start a "music to do drugs to" thread. As long as no one is opposed to sharing music...

i know man no fighting at all. the way it should be. i can sit around all night talking about music. the first two albums i ever owned was kiss destroyer and the first motorhead. motherfuckin lemmy. my first concert was lol billy idol and the go-gos lmao. i went to hear white wedding. i had to sneak out of my house just to see the fuckin go-gos
-
You're def older than me!! ha.ha. ha. old fucker. hehehe. My 1st album was Santana - Black Magic Woman. My 1st concert was Metallica, and I was the youngest kid there. It was that way til I hit my teens. My folks got me into rock, and shredding guitars, but flipped when I brought a dub back of Metallica, Slayer, & Anthrax. My dad destroyed my boom box, and whipped me unholy. This just concreted my love for Metal, and my rebelliousness. I STILL don't understand why he loves Santana, but not Dimebag.

@JamesDeansSkull good thread bro.
Thank ya kindly, Brother ....
Saw someone else chimed in with the new Black Keys album, EL CAMINO. Album of the year, IMHO.

Man, it is almost impossible for me to list all of the music in my life right now. I am a musician and have been listening to music since I was inside my mother's womb. My musical influence spans quite a lot of genres but to name a few though: Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Alice in Chains, Soundgarden, Rage Against The Machine, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, A Perfect Circle, Silverchair (older stuff), Pearl Jam, Sex Pistols, Joy Division, New Order, Depeche Mode, The Exploited, Queens of the Stone Age, Mudvayne, The Black Keys, The Parlor Mob, White Stripes, Howlin' Wolf, Son House, Leadbelly, Charles Patton, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath, The Stone Foxes, The Doors....
Shesh man I could go on for the next 10 pages but I would prefer not to...that is just the tip of the iceberg. Good stuff though. Cheerz man.
~LR
PS - I would actually like to check out that show JDS, I'm not that far away. How much were tickets?
-
My musical taste is very broad, overlapping multiple genres. My favorite band is the Sisters of Mercy (hope they'll release some new songs soon (or at all)) but I also listen to Rammstein, Pink Floyd, Massive Attack, Portishead, Rush, Tiamat, Smashing Pumpkins, Tool, My Dying Bride, Amorphis, Moby, Boudewijn de Groot, Dandy Warhols. More recently i discovered, and quite like, some drum and bass (Chase & Status, Nero).

My taste in music is very eclectic, everything from classical to death metal. Recently though I've been listening to a lot of My Morning Jacket and Jeff Buckley songs.
