Title: Weapons in Australia
Post by: nomadzecker on October 04, 2011, 02:27 am
Hi I've recently moved to Australia and I'm looking for guns. With such harsh laws on weapons in Australia I'm looking for someone to ship to Australia.

1. I will only buy from you if you list your item on the Silk Road
2. Please reply to this topic if you have firearms or are willing to sell/ship to Australia

The reason for this is to weed out scams as I've seen many on Tor. If your a vendor I want to get in contact with you.

I'm 100% serious about this so please no funny business.

Forgot to mention:

Currently there is only 1 Firearm on sale on the Silk Road: http://ianxz6zefk72ulzz.onion/index.php/silkroad/category/106

http://ianxz6zefk72ulzz.onion/index.php/silkroad/item/3379

A converted M16 and the shipping in only from US to US.

Come on! Someone step up to the plate and deliver me an illegal firearm either from within Australia or Shipping to Australia.

I don't trust people who don't sell on the Silk Road or Black Market Reloaded. I need Escrow!

The lack of weapons on there only makes me believe that ordering illegal firearms is harder than drugs for shipping.

It's something I always question is how would you even get a gun through customs when metal detectors etc would find the gun shaped object in shipping.

Maybe shipping on an actual ship? I've heard that only 3% of shipping containers get checked in Australia...

Some stats here: http://www.theage.com.au/national/shipping-crates-laden-with-drugs-slip-past-customs-20080607-2nad.html

Wow those figures are crazy if true. Good point in the shipping via boat as appose to airplane.

I'm still on the search for a firearm but I still will only buy one if I have escrow though because I don't trust people on Tor or via forums. Scams are everywhere on here and on the hidden wiki.

"3% of shipping containers"

I believe that 3% checked figure refers to regular sea consignments of like the weekly import of a tonne of rice or pallets of electronics from China, not sea mail. I'm sure sea MAIL is scrutinised just as closely as airmail is. Getting weapons into Australia in the mail is tough since "100% of parcels are x-rayed" (quote from the Customs website).

Some domestic weapon sellers would be interesting to see on SR: firearms, stun guns and tasers, knuckles, pepper spray? Due to our ridiculous nanny laws there's probably a decent black market for lasers and replica/Airsoft toys too lol. Anybody out there who can step up to the plate?

I don't want to make a gun myself. I just want to buy a handgun as in Australia its impossible to get access to one. Gun Laws here are crazy and the average citizen can't own a handgun without jumping though lots of hoops.

:( I'm still looking for firearms, is it hard to grantee shipping to different countries? Why are there so few weapons on the silk road?

Does anyone know where I can get guns from? I will only buy if escrow or something similar.

Ugh.....seriously wish SR would put a stop to the sale of weapons and explosives on SR. As if it isnt enough ammo for LE and Government to highlight this as a place where people can now take drug dealing off the streets and keep it 100% in their own homes, they are no doubt gna throw into their press releases that its a place for terrorists and hardened criminals to buy weapons and other things to harm other people and not be traced. There is a line to be drawn with everything imo, just because this is an underground, anonymous and "free" marketplace doesnt mean you have to make it the criminal underground marketplace for people wanting to potentially harm others.

I feel like with time and patience the gun trade will come around, it definitely presents its own unique set of challenges.  Once we get a few successful transactions involving weaponry, both vendors and customers will slowly embrace SR's potential more fully.

Its more hard to ship than drugs, imo.

My problem is that the people that message me have no clue what they want. I need specifics(model, make, caliber) to give a good quote on guns.

I'm not to fussy on the make and model of the handgun. You need to be a better sales man and get a sellers account and put up some weapons on the silk road and see how they go.

As soon as I see something reasonable I'll buy it.

Thanks for the messages but I've had no luck and I'm out of ideas where to search for weapons. AS I've said before I will not pay for a weapon unless I have some guarantee of Escrow because $300+ is to much to risk for a weapon to just send someone outright.

If you have any ideas where to find weapons please post replies. I'm still searching but I think it's just a waiting game until someone lists one on the Silk road main site (Which is down as of this post :( )

I don't know if you guys were telling me to get a sellers account, but I have had one and have been selling on SR for 6+ months.

Everyone that has wanted weapons, oddly enough (and despite the thread title), has been from Australia. So far, people just want cheap guns $200-300. I've even had people ask me to front them the gun and they will pay when they get it, which I will not do.

I think I will keep my selling of weapons to US only for now, unless someone is really willing to pay.

I can list one on SR if need be. Check my sig for my account.

I'm interested but sadly the Silk Road is down for now. I'm in Australia so posting here might be problematic.

The trouble is how to get by Australian Customs which is tough.

How would you smuggle a weapon into this country? How much would you want me to pay you for a weapon?

I want a small handgun I'm not to fussed with what type and some ammo.

Your posts contain all the reasons why guns are not readily available for sale to Australia.  $200-$300 isn't very much for a gun to begin with.  Why would you expect that someone would go through the trouble of mailing you a gun to Australia for no more than it costs to buy the gun in the USA?
Even tf it costs a seller $250 to buy it and $50 to ship ihe's not even going to sell it to you for less than $400.  Its going to take several hours to find the gun, fill out the forms, etc.  Additionally, a seller would have to be an idiot to ship it without filing off the serial number, that's going to take a little bit of time, gun metal is very resilient.
Shipping is risky - a seller mailing something domestically isn't going to raise an eyebrow, but a private party shipping to Australia is substantially more unusual and more likely to be remembered by the postal clerk - it makes tracking the person down easier.
Next, your customs X-Rays every package - that means it has to be hidden with a lot of other shit inside the package, making shipping more expensive.  If the package gets seized the seller doesn't get paid - meaning if there is a 50% chance of the package getting seized the seller has to factor that in and double the price.
And lastly you sound like a bit of a petulant whiner that probably shouldnt have access to a gun anyway.

I live in the US. I'm looking for a gun thats in the price range of 100-200 USD. While you may think thats not possible, the specific gun that I am looking for is a hi-point c9. This gun retails in the US for 145 USD. If you buy it on the street or illegally, it should be even less. Now, will someone step up?

You make some valid points, I'm willing to pay up to $1000 for a weapon and ammo but I'm unable to find the right person to do the deal with. It seems no one is willing to use the Silk road or Black market reloaded to sell weapons.

The reason being is I think most gun sellers on Tor are scammers. Escrow and other such devices should only have the legit people step forward and sell their weapons online.

Being in Australia sucks because gun control is so tight.

Since starting this thread. You could have sent in your application, passed your test, and more than likely be DAYS away from being ove rthe waiting period for a legal firearm. This leads me to believe that those are all BS excuses that you dont want to go the legal route. You are either unable to obtain a license due to priors, or are wanting to do something very illegal with this weopan. Both of those, imo, and Id say most people, mean you shouldnt be allowed to own a gun anyway. Im seriously considering a petition thread to end this kind of crap on this site. No doubt id prly get bashed about it, but imo, there is a line, and this kind of thing is going way over it. Get a gun through the legal channels, it is not hard...you are obviously upto some shady shit.....

Well, I say the criminals and the authority figures have all the weapons. It's alot harder for the average civilian to arm himself legally without a shit ton of paper work and all kinds of other various tests. Basically the law abiding citizen has to go through a long and inconvenient process legally obtain a weapon, while a criminal/authority figure doesn't. I feel that this applies to many countries all over the world.

Don't worry man, i don't see what the big deal is either..
Australia is pretty strict when it comes to drugs and it's customs yet for some reason
people are under the impression that the government and police force
are only really going to step in when weapons are being sold on silkroad.
Even though there are already weapon dealers ON SILKROAD.

Here is my word of advice mate.. A gun is going to show up really obvious
when shipped.. you are far better off sourcing someone locally.. Just
remember the basics.. don't pay upfront, etc etc..

In the mean time if you are looking for a way to defend yourself
i recommend a tazer. RickyRango is selling some great products
if you private message him (and yes they will most likely get through
aussie customs).

Don't rage at me people of silkroad.. Just trying to help another user out.
Keep in mind this topic was about sourcing a weapon
not if it's morally okay to buy a weapon and what impact
weapon trading may have on silkroad.

I think the tazer is the best choice.. because then you can
really hurt your victim but not really do any permanent damage.
As long as you arent zapping children, the elderly and people with
heart conditions then you should be fine.

As for the possible need to be able to kill yourself
here is a great topic :

Unless of course you plan on killing your ex-wife with it then dumping it in the ocean.
Then, by all means, for the money theirs nothing better.

This is Silk Road motherfucker everyone here is into some shady shit. If you want legit take your ass to Wal-Mart.
First of all, if you have nothing constructive to contribute then STFU,and GTFO.

Secondly, it's non of your God-lovin' business why the man wants a gun, if he wanted a legit one he would obviously follow your retarded ass to Wal-Mart and buy one.

If he wants to put a couple slugs in the neighbors dog for burring bones in his yard, none of your fucking business.
If he wants to put a couple slugs into the neighbor for burring his bone in his wife, none of your fucking business.

Third, who the fuck are you to decide who should and shouldn't own a gun.
