Hi there fellow SR users!
I have gotten hold of some pure alprazolam powder and now I'm planning to cut it and put it into gel caps (I have a capsule machine, very easy to use )
From what I have researched on the web, alprazolam is best dissolved in anhydrous ethanol or P.E.G(polyethylene glycol).
I actually have some P.E.G at home with glycerin and I can confirm that it seems to dissolve the alp pretty good.
For binder I'm considering lactose or dextrose, any should work right?
Filler.. it seems to be common practice to use corn starch.. It's very cheap and readily available in any supermarket.
Of course the proportions needs to be worked out to ensure that the alp is mixed up good without any "hotspots" and make it into an easily encapsulated paste.
I will start by mixing the alp with a small amount of p.e.g, stir hard, pour some more p.e.g, stir, repeat until desired amount is mixed up and then add the rest of the ingredients while stirring hard.
How about something like:
250mg alprazolam (250x 1mg caps)
1g benzoate preservative
15g P.E.G
40g lactose
90g corn starch
That's about 580mg total mass per cap and should make a gooey paste that can be put into caps.
If the goo is to thin I can just add more binder/filler and use the tamper tool too compress it.
Any suggestions? Maybe someone has a better recipe?
