Title: Idris Elba talking about the history of Dance music..nuff said!
Post by: Tunbear on August 25, 2012, 12:33 am
Watching a great program right now on Channel 4, called "Idris Elba's How Clubbing Changed The World", it's a chronicle of the history and rise of all aspects of dance music, from the early beginnings in Disco, to the current state of Dance, with Drum & Bass, Hard House etc.

Any UK folks interested should be able to catch it on 4OD, and for those not in the UK it should appear in warez format sometime tomorrow (UK encoders tend to be quite slow uploading new releases that aren't typically competitively raced).

I'm not normally a fan of these list programs (well, TV in general because I fucking HAAAAAAAATE adverts!) but this has been really entertaining.

I'll have to check that out. Elba's an awesome actor. Was he specially linked to the club scene or something?

Nah he's just a typical UK dance head who was a big fan of the dance scene, but not sure if he had any involvement in it.
