Title: privnote.com a risk? A small question.
Post by: bear paw on October 20, 2012, 10:36 pm
Why do some vendors say if you dont know how to use PGP, I will accept UN-encrpypted addresses but no privnote. All privnote note orders will be cancelled....

I though privnote would be good just so it is a one time destroy type of thing but apparently i am wrong as top notch vendors state no privnote.

I believe it's to do with Javascript having to be enabled to view a privnote message. Java is not enabled in Tor by default, nor should it be. PGP is the only way you can be sure a messages is secure and if you take the time to learn how it works, it not as hard as you think.
