Just wanted to know before I make my first post-downtime buy.... using bitinstant to mtgox to sr. Thank.
-
I have yes. No problems at all.
-
I made a test deposit about two hours ago. Hasn't arrived to my SR account yet. I'm guessing things will be slow for a bit. I'll come back and update when the coins are in my account.
-
Had my local BTC converter make a deposit into my account last night. Midnightish. Not instant, but got it pretty quick.
-
I've moved btc twice since The Troubles began. No problems at all!

I'm going to be making a deposit using BitInstant > Mt. Gox in a bit, I'll report back here.

Make another account at another depository and send it out to that, preferably in Europe like that German one or BTC-E so that no one can trace your money to SR. Mt Gox AND Bitinstant are both working with the DEA/.FBI now and they even have disclaimers about it. Be smart, I would personally use www.cryptoxchange.com but you can also get a program called Armour which lets you make different wallets that can help you tumble your coins.
look up blockchain.info then in the search bar type any of your BTC addresses to see their complete history AND ALWAYS USE TOR WITH BTC!

BTC received. The transfer may take longer than usual, but you should be good to go, thernabulax.

Using Cash Deposit > Bitcoin to email
Made cash deposit around 2:15, sent from Coinapult as soon as email was received, BTC in my Silk Road wallet at 4:0x PM. Pretty damn fast if you ask me.
-
i recieved my BTC as usual no problem the second night we were up.
-
I have not currently been able to. 26 hours since deposit and counting, but I'm sure I'll get it. Hopefully tomorrow.

That is so strange how some users aren't getting their deposits!!
I just sent 100 coins in two chunks, and as soon as the confirmations started to roll, it appeared in my SR wallet.... it didn't even take 15 minutes total.. either ya'll are bullshitting, or I really hope your coins go thru :/

Or someone else has our coins now...
Pretty annoying also...

I was a bit worried yesterday too, so made a small < 1BTC test deposit. Worked seamlessly. So then followed up with a large multi hundred coins deposit and it went in perfectly as well. This was after DPR posted that all deposits and withdrawals have been fixed.
So no problems and 2 thumbs up.
-
works for me. just sent some btc to my account and placed an order no prob! I had one deposit 5-6 month ago that didnt show up after 24h. I contacted SR staff. and had it in my account 5min later.
-
I deposited coins on the 9th as well. I've just sent a message into support; hoping it gets solved soon.
-
just be sure you get a new addy each time to be safe or else some people run into issues if they use the same old one over and over

Im also having an issue, i loaded some coins last night it evetnualy showed in my SR accnt about three or four hours later. I was short for my order so went back later the same night and put some more money to the account, this has yet be posted to SR , i tried checking out the blockchain info, which i dont really know how to comprehend , but i have been using the same BTC adress like an ass hole. now if my using the same BTC adress is the cause of my issue, what happens to my BTC from here..any info is appreciated thanks
-
I don't think its the same address thats the issue.. I have used the same one and I just put coin on, well someone transferred it for me and it took less than 30 minutes!!
-
if it just worked i wouldnt think you should have an issue. hopefully it will arrive soon, some have just been taking a little while
mine 12 hrs ago took longer than usual but worked fine. i held off from depositing on the 9th because i was worried of issues actually
what happens sometimes when people use very old addresses is that the deposit doesnt get credited properly, so they have to contact SR support with details regarding the transfer and they manually add the coins to the acct. old addresses should work but generally when you see issues about deposits on the forum it is people using old addys

This is good info Micro! Do you suggest changing the address every deposit?
-
thanks Micro, This really sucks , Its been over 12 hours now since the deposit and ive yet have any progress, i havnt so much as received a confirmation email from bitinstant, or zipzap. guess i, going to have to make another deposit, only this time im using a new adress. guess ill just be paitient and hope that i didnt lose out on my hard earned cash =/
-
yes, i recommend using a new address for every deposit. this is what i do and i have never had any issue with one
DB if you have not received a confirmation email from BI then the SR end is not likely the issue. you made sure to deposit the exact correct amount? if you havent gotten the BI email then I would contact them to make sure they received the deposit or something didnt happen on their end

-
And yes i made sure to deposit the exact correct amount i had a repeipt printed when the transaction was complete, which i am about to go to 7-11 and dig through the fucking trash can for, cause im an ass hole with a terrible habit of throwing out my receipts .
-
I did a Bitinstant transfer to my SR wallet on the 9th and still no coins. :( I contacted SR yesterday and haven't heard anything yet.

Did a bitinstant order via moneygram, had the coins within an hour. Placed my orders fine and some have already shipped.
-
Made a deposit, was in my account within the hour!
Well, even half an hour and got my missing bitcoins in my wallet some minutes ago.

I have been with the same account numbers for over a year, up and down has been seamless? Mp transfer after crash was fine as well.
