Total newb question -
Once an order is designated "in transit" how much time should you wait before contacting the vendor? In other words, if something is shipped USPS priority mail, how much time should I wait before thinking there might be a problem? Can someone please share a reasonable guideline? For example, if something was marked in transit on 4/14 (e.g. 7 days ago), and assuming it does not arrive tomorrow, when would it make sense to contact the vendor? (Domestic, USPS priority.)
I know it's the mail, and I expect the thing to arrive within the next few days. But I would still like to know some basic guidelines/approaches if this item, or one in the future, does not arrive.
I am sure this info is in the forums somewhere, but I could not find it.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

It really depends on where it's getting shipped from. I'd say give it at least 7 days for domestic and 2 weeks for international. I placed two different orders for two separate addresses from the same vendor recently. One came in 8 days, and the other came in 11 internationally.

Cool. Thanks for your response. MG

Priority Mail should be there within 1-3, sometimes due to weather or some other complication the package or parcel does arrive a few days later but over a week is questionable, though it has happened in the past.
