Yeah I think you have 2 problems. This isn't a crisis in the US despite what the Republicans would like to see. And there just aren't that many women on here unfortunately, like most net communities.

Not all countries have birth control freely available.

I don't see how you could possibly know that second point.  I'm a woman and I'm on here.  That doesn't really prove anything, but whatever. You couldn't really prove it either way as it stands.  Maybe we could have a poll...

Really?! I thought that it was legal in almost every country by now.

Well, now I think that it's an obligation for TS to start selling the pill on SR ;).

Fair enough, it was an educated guess. Pick nearly any internet community, and you are going to find the ratio is way in favor of men. Especially one like this that requires a certain level of technical know-how, no offense. I am all in favor of more women, bring it on! :)

BTW I didn't know there were some countries where it was illegal. That's just wrong, definitely need to start selling to them. :)

The Catholic Church is still a powerful force out here and while I think that it's been legalized in a few places, generally it is considered "abortive" and so like abortion it is illegal.

The major social change happening right now is the so-called "christian" movement, i.e. evangelicals and other crazies turning people away from the relatively moderate Catholic Church.  So, it's not likely that the pill is going to be legalized anytime soon.

If this goes on sale I will most certainly order, I am a man in a happy marriage but I have many female friends who would appreciate it.

Yes yes yes! I would REALLY be interested in the Depo-Provera (depot medroxyprogesterone acetate) injectable birth control, but I would be interested in the pills too probably, at the right price.

Are you talking about BC as in the morning after pill or like actual birth control because from what my girlfriend has said there are specific types from girl to girl.  But if not this is a great idea for some countries.

Not true, it's basically the same for everyone. They wouldnt give it to you for free at the health department if each woman had to have a specific kind.

As a pro-choice sort of a person (and being really high!) I'm so annoyed that you guys don't all have access to contraception (I actually do know this sort of thing sober, but for some reason I feel particularly moved, maybe it's the weed!!). I feel like we should all just go and get the free stuff from our countries and just send it to them. Although that would probably only work per one person, but whatever, we could all do it!

Then everyone's free to have non-reproductive sex! (And the other good stuff that comes with the pill). (insert safe sex disclaimer here)

It's quite insane that women where I live don't have the right to reproductive self control.  If a woman gets raped and she is denied contraceptive pills, abortion, some solution, my god she has to carry the rapists baby and bring it up... come on this is insane.  The problem is the Catholic Church, the Evangelical Churches and all the other so-called Christians (I would blame religion but we don't have enough of the others to blame them too) but mostly the Catholic Church.

In most of Latin America we are still very much controlled and influenced from Rome, many TV and Radio Stations, Newspapers and more are owned by the Vatican.

We had liberal revolutions and reduced the power of the church (150 years ago there was no separation of church and state in theory or practice) but still it is like a vicious snake that ties us down while sucking our blood, unable to shake it off.

That really sucks, and makes me really mad. I hate that so many of our choices are made for us by the state/church, particularly issues like this.

Hopefully the OP will pop up and decide to post. I could only get enough for 1 person, I think (I assume they monitor how much 1 person takes, but who knows). However, I can take as many condoms as I want to you're welcome to a bunch :) Do they control condoms too?

Condoms are allowed since they prevent STDs and other bad things, the Church isn't that powerful, I'm pretty sure condoms are legally available (often for free if you know where) every where in latin america, though I could be wrong.

The problem with birth control is that it is considered abortive, it causes the death of a fetus and therefore you are destroying Gods creation, condoms are a bit more acceptable because you are just preventing that creation.

I've been talking with some feminist friends and I think I can arrange some where for bc pills to be delivered (I am in some trouble myself and want to get into exporting coke so I can't be receiving anything at my address) if a good price can be negotiated for large quantities we'd like to do some giveaways and provide these pills for free.

A woman has a right to control her body, she shouldn`t have to carry a parasite against her will.
