Title: ThisOneGuy - Product & Service Reviews
Post by: Freeman on January 26, 2012, 10:53 pm
Received 1/2oz of ThisOneGuy's Chemdawg x Sour Diesel.  This is an interesting cross as the recorded genetics are that Sour Diesel and OG Kush are products of Chemdawg crosses.  Packaging was good and I received it in just 3 days.

Quote
Chemdawg Crosses:
- 'OG Kush' (the original cut) came from an s1 from in a bag of '91 Chemdawg in the Lake Tahoe area in 1996.
- 'Sour Diesel' aka ECSD came from an accidental cross of ('91 Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk/NL)x DNL after the DNL hermed and seeded the room. The DNL's lineage is NL/Shiva x Hawaiian.

The smell is really weird.  I've never had Chemdawg so I'm not sure what it smells like.  I do pick up a little bit of the chemically Sour Diesel scent.  I have a hard time placing it.  Maybe a little bit of licorice?  In any case, it smells amazing.  It's kind of sage green and the hairs are light white/gray.  The buds are super sticky and every inch is covered with frosty trichromes.  Handling it almost feels like handling sticky beeswax. The buds are trimmed and cured really nicely.  There doesn't seem to be much stem weight as they're manicured on the small side.

The smoke is really dense and white.  You get that pungent exhale, but I can't pick out any distinct flavors.  The high is heady and relaxed.  I think it might be a better "chill out" smoke even though it's sativa dominant.  I don't feel so much couch-locked as just content with not moving. :-)

I got a 1/4 of the Chemdawg x Sour Diesel , and it was one of the best strains I've gotten off SR! Makes playing video games just awesome!

I can't wait for thisoneguy to come back!

I posted this in the other thread I have on here, but figured I would copy and paste it here since the rumor mill seems more appropriate.

Well, Everything is hanging to dry now.  There will be listings up in about a week, so get your coins ready

Also, I am not going to be offering 1/8ths any more.  All of the problems I had were from people ordering that amount and I don't really like going to the post office with an armful of packages.  So from now on there will only be 1/4, 1/2, and 1oz listings.  I am still not going to require early finalization for any buyers even though I had a few people let it autofinalize on me.

I have only sampled some of this round wet through a vaporizer and I would say it is around the same quality as last batch, maybe even slightly better but haven't got to fully test it out when properly dried yet.  Either way, I know it won't dissapoint  Same strain Chemdog Sour Diesel.

I have updated my policies in my profile.  http://silkroadvb5piz3r.onion/silkroad/user/6d5e949a9e

Can anyone let me know what they think of my new finalize early policy?

I still don't require anyone to finalize early, but I included a small incentive to do so.  I feel like giving a slight discount for getting my funds quicker is fair, but I don't want to scare anyone away with the words finalize early plastered all over my profile.

What do you guys think about this and is what is written clear and easy to understand?

Also, I have re-introduced 1/8th listings but made them a little more pricey.

Can't wait, will update. Your directions were very clear to me. Personally, I would never FE but the option is good and the incentive is decent as well but not over the top. I like it personally. I think its respectable, even though I would never do it. The only thing I would ever be opposed to is mandatory FE, but that is not the issue here.
