Title: Accessing mt gox via tor question.
Post by: Lucius Luv on August 13, 2012, 04:50 am
ok, i seen it as widely known, one should not access mtgox via tor because they may block your account.

i set up an account via a well known us proxy through tor on mtgox, am i safe?  i can log into my account without problem; what i don't want, is for me to make a deposit, and for my account to be suspended before i can send to sr.

is it possible to make 2 or 3 fairly large deposits to mtgox via bitinstant, in the same day to same account?   like 3 deposits for 700 to same account.  thx

via a well known us proxy
This also gets your account flagged. You do realize that you CAN have BitInstant pay directly to a bitcoin-address, like the one in your Account's page on SR, right? It's not, strictly speaking, safe if you're using a deposit-method that would require identification, but it is the fastest. Or you could download the bitcoin client and deposit into your own address. There are a lot of other options available to you and MTGox is not ideal for what you want.
