Any word on what is going to happen to orders not received by MIN? This is the first time I have had to ask for a refund through the resolution system after a years worth of orders from numerous vendors. It has been three days "under review". This could be quite the problem as I imagine there are hundreds of others in my position. Not sure how long it takes for a refund under normal circumstances.
Mods: I understand this is a touchy subject so feel free to delete if it's out of line. I just want to know that something is actually under review as SR staff has not responded to messages about this situation. I would hate to lose money and have my address compromised. (insult to injury thing) I would also consider a donation to any min fund , but on my own terms.
Thanks.

There should also be another fund set up to take donations in order to refund people who end up in this kind of predicament. SR really shouldn't have to refund the money because it really didn't have nothing to do with them. I'm sure they will come up with some kind of "bandaid" for it seeing as how they have refunded people in the past in the event of scam artist and such. But this wasn't a scam. There is undeniable evidence that what happen really happened.
But really SR should have a fund set up for this kind of situation. They have their commissions and maybe there could be an amount taken from their commissions and set aside in a "pinched" fund so buyers could get their refunds back promptly. It wouldn't have to be much. Maybe 10% of the commissions. Maybe they do have this kind of fund in place and it's depleted.
My advice is to just bite the bullet and forget about it. I know that's a hard pill to swallow but how you going to find piece with hatred in your heart? Honestly anytime I lose something I give thanks for it because in a day or maybe a week later something better comes along for me. If you can completely forget about and live in gratitude then I promise that GOD will replace it for you double

i don´t think u get my point,
i don´t want any coins from sr,
my order stucks in resolution/escrow,
and all i want is that sr release my coins back to me.

This would be a bad idea.
If SR stepped in to attempt to refund those who lost money due to a scammer, then the problem would be twofold:
1. People continue to finalize early, because they aren't as scared of losing their money knowing SR is backing them no matter what
2. More scammers would appear. The blow on their conscious is lessened because they know that the money they steal will be refunded. Additionally, because of (1.), there will be more people to scam.
The solution is to stop finalizing early. I can't believe it, but even reading down MIN's page now, I see people finalizing for orders that are 10+ days old, saying it hasn't arrived yet, but still giving a 5/5.
IF NOBODY EVER FINALIZES EARLY EVER, THERE WILL BE NO OPPORTUNITY FOR SCAMMERS TO SCAM!
Uncle sam wants YOU to stop finalizing early!
And if you did finalize early, sit tight and the SR admins will take care of you. Be patient, since you'll be getting your money back eventually, this situation is far more stressful on SR Support than it is on the buyer who used Escrow. Thanks again SR/DPR.
