Hey. Yes, I already looked for this answer, thank you.
So, it doesn't matter whether it is an envelope, bubble envelope, box, or package, if it leaves USA, it NEEDS to have one of those goddamn green customs labels on it. You can say different, but I have been selling on eBay for 13 years, and I speak from experience. I saw a couple posts saying letters didn't need them, but that's just bullshit. Sorry, but it is.
My question comes as this: How the fuck do I *PRINT* a customs label?? How do you make sure it makes it through all 3 copy layers??
What do you claim is inside to quell any suspicious customs officers? I was thinking of CDs, but read that ALL CDs are x-rayed.
I am so close to vending, but don't want to be stuck in USA only.
Any help is appreciated.
All hate, bullshit, and idiocracy is ignored, thank you.

Well, I've sent some letters overseas without problems (legal letters, mind you), but I do believe you're correct that they technically do need customs declarations; I just got lucky in those instances. If the CDs are X-rayed, though, I'm not entirely sure what the problem is; but an actual CD in the case and tape the product to the CD (unless the product would still show up somehow? I'm confused about how that would occur.)
You'd definitely start vending the the US first, but I can understand why you'd want to know if you could expand first.
