Is this implying that any payments to the site don't go through the tumbler, only those leaving?
Tumbler
Just when you thought Silk Road couldn't be more secure, we went one step further. The tumbler sends all payments through a complex, semi-random series of dummy transactions, each with a new, one-use receiving address, making it nearly impossible to link your payment with any coins leaving the site. The quantity, frequency, and number of transactions are all varied chaotically in a way that mimics the transactions of the bitcoin economy as a whole.
Also, If you are using a tumbler when sending bitcoins to SR, which one do you use?

https://www.instawallet.org
Never lost your instawallet url. It's the only way to access your ewallet in this site.
Do not keep big amount of coins for a long time.
Usually, I:
Send the coins from exchange to insta1
Wait some time for the coins be washed. You can check in https://blockexplorer.com/
Send random amount to insta2 and the rest to insta3
Send fund from insta2 for insta4 and insta3 for insta5
Send them to silkroad (I change the bitcoin silkroad wallet address, but I don't know if it' help in anyway)
I used to use greenaddress for last transaction, but now it is not available anymore. Does somebody know why?
Change your tor node for each transaction.

Interesting DIY washing method thanks :)

bitcoinfog.com works, sometimes i've seen some delays but send them a message and they've cleared it all up within 24 hours.
1-3% fee, seems more secure then the method above because the funds get truely mixed between wallets not just 1->2->3->4->5 which is super easy to follow..
they use a method where you put into a pool, and that pool of various addresses pays out.

Bitcoin fog is a better option, but as a buyer I don't want to pay more fees since I believe it's not necessary.
