Title: ***PHARMVILLE: OLD SCHOOL SANTA SAYS: IT'S OPIATES FOR CHRISTMAS***
Post by: Pharmville on December 20, 2011, 05:28 am
Hi there Silk Road community,

We hope everyone is having a good time getting ready for Christmas and all the fun and joy that comes with it.  Yeah, we know, there's also always at least one pain in the ass family member that everyone has to put up with, but don't let that ruin the joy of the season and, for those who are believers like I am (Ben is agnostic) the reminder that there is a better life waiting for us than the one we have here and that's a promise that will never be broken.  :)  I know there are times when that's about the only thing that keeps this broken down old war horse putting one foot in front of the other.

AND WE HAVE SOME GREAT NEWS!!!

Our major shipments of the old school OC's have arrived and the're here about a week early.  So as soon as I get done with this pm I'm going to be listing nice size quantities for OC40's and OC80's.  And to top it off, tomorrow I'm driving a pretty fair distance and picking up ANOTHER shipment of tvhe old school OC's.  So if you're someone that loves old school oxycontin it's a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS FOR YOU!
And that's not the only good news: WE GOT MORE PERCS TODAY TOO!  And that was a pretty decent size order as welll.  So for those of you who have been pm'ing me and asking "when are you going to get more percs?", the answer is RIGHT NOW.  Now even though it's a good size shipment these things sell out like hotcakes at a Denny's all-you-can-eat breakfast bar so get your order in now.  But don't fret either if you miss them because we have at least 4 more orders coming in before Christmas and we plan to drive over and pick up every single one of them even if it means we have to drive all night and work all day! :)  There's not been much of anything on the listings lately in the way of higher mg opiates, so we're here to tell you that THE DROUGHT IS OVER!  Come on over to Pharmvillle and we'll be happy to stock you up on as many old schol oxys as you can handle and at prices that are NOT crazy.  Ben and I had vowed that we would NEVER charge more than $1 per mg for oxys and while we've hit that limit on the 40's we can honestly say that we don't expect to have to raise that price for all of 2012.  Yup, we've got a supply line that stretches from here to Timbuktu and we believe very sincerely that no matter how crazy the market gets during 2012 we're going to be able to keep the price right where it is and to once again have these puppies in stock 24/7/365, just like we promised we would when we said we were bringing them back to replace the roxis. :)

The second announcement is a BIG ONE: as of January 15 our entire store is going to be PGP ONLY!  We've been discussing ways to enhance security with SR himself and he's indicated that there are going to be limited changes in this same direction on the entire site and frankly we've just been out here for a pretty long time selling the items that LE would most like to get off the market plus we're planning to have some new ones that they are going to like even less (or dislike even more, whichever way you choose to say it) so we want to make them as flummoxed as possible by making it impossible to tell who is doing what for whom at what price and when. From January 15th on, if LE is reading this site all they're going to see at Pharmville in our pm's is a bunch of gobbledygook that is the beauty of PGP. :)

And the reason we're announcing this one full month early is so that any newbie buyer who doesn't currently know how to use PGP will have plenty of time to learn and practice on each other until everyone is comfortable using it on a daily basis.  The truth is that it IS a bit difficult to learn at the beginning, but it is also true that as soon as you've practiced with it a few times and get the hang of it, it's as easy as pie to use and it provides the one encryption method that is universally known to be verified, by having open source code, as NOT having a back door that LE can use to read everyone's messages.  It is a sad, but normally little known fact, that most other encryption systems and methods routinely provide LE with a back door so that they can read people's messages whenever they wish.

The Silk Road community is growing at an *astounding* pace.  There are over 120,000 people here now and it appears to me that around 10,000 more are joining every month.  Now we know from the number of active customers we have that a large number of those people are simply voyeurs who are here to marvel at the items and read the forum but they never have any intention of purchasing any products.  But still there are a very large number, at least ten times as many as have every been assembled on one drug forum before, that are actual potential buyers.  We have been working diligently over the past 6 months to upgrade our computer security, our physical security, our shipping security and our purchasing security so that we can be here for the long haul and be an integral part of the dramatic continued growth of the Silk Road.  In order to do that, we simply have to make ourselves a smaller target.  We have to reduce the number of areas of vulnerability that exist in the conducting of every transaction.  And we've made a LOT of progress.  But we feel now is the time to take this step...this rather large step...to make it extremely difficult for LE to find out ANYTHING that is going on at Pharmville...and we feel this is the truly best method available on the market today.  Besides, it's free, and if a dumbo like me can learn to use it in a couple of hours then I'm sure that all (or nearly all) of our buyers can learn to use it in a similar amount of time.

There have been numerous tutorials posted on the site since day one showing how to set up and use PGP, both for PC and Mac.  We hope that someone who is familiar with all of them will join this thread and leave the links to what they consider the very best tutorial for each operating system.

Now some of you may be saying "well great Pharmville, but what about the fact that *you* don't have a working PGP system?".  And that would be a good question. :)  Well, it turns out that some advances have been made to acclimate PGP to the operating system we are now running and within about a week we will have our PGP up and running again.  And we will NEVER AGAIN upgrade our OS without first checking to make sure that it smoothly and simply runs with PGP. :)  This has been a kind of logistical nightmare for us, and without going into the details, has cost us immeasurably in both time and money.  We have absolutely no intention of ever letting it happen again.

We hope that everyone who cares about their own security and the security of their vendors will join us in making this transition.  And we'll be happy to provide whatever assistance we can to people to help them get PGP running on their own systems.  But in this case, the die is cast and we have made the decision.  We hope everyone will be enjoying purchasing from us just as much after January 15, 2012 as they have before that time. :)

Also a word about holiday hours: as Christmas falls on a Sunday this year, our last shipping day will be Friday, December 23rd and then we'll be closed on the 24th.

We at Pharmville wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!   >Alex & Ben<

old school 80's fuck yea! i can't remember the last time i had one of those, i might have to pick one up! Also you said that you will be PGP only from jan 15th on, and in about a week you said it should be working again, does that mean you will be accepting orders with PGP then and post an update when its ready to go? And do you ever plan on getting K in stock again or are you guys done on that front?

There was  a great video not long ago for PGP, I'd like to find that video again because then it's super easy for anyone to learn.
