i am trying to get prescriptions for xanax and for hydrocodone. whats the best excuse to tell my doctor so that he prescribes me these meds?
-
Having a legitimate ailment is a pretty good way! :O

anxiety

Just come up with a good story and then keep trying from doctor to doctor. It does not matter if you see 100 doctors in a month trying to get certain scrips as long as no more than 1 doctor writes the script. Its alot of money to see many doctors but some are against xanax and you wont know until you get there in many cases. Plus most smart doctors will do anything they can to avoid prescribing a younger person narcotics. Try to find a doctor that holds stock in a company that makes the kind of drugs you want and you will have the most chance of getting that drug.

Google "Drug Seeking Behavior" and do the opposite of what it states. DSB is exactly what you're doing so it's best to learn to avoid saying or acting in certain ways.

Find a pain management clinic that deals with prescribing pain meds(ask around)
if you're in a certain state in southern usa you could throw a rock out your window and find
a pain clinic that will prescribe pain meds without jumping threw to many hoops
Don't waste your time with pain management clinics that want you to do therapy, nerve root injections, epidurals
Get an MRI showing a condition to back up your pain needs
Never ever ask a doctor for a drug by name
You may say I've tried vikes/oxycodone in the past and they've worked well
You may say I 'm allergic to apap if you plan on doing a considerable amount of pain killers
If the Dr asks you if you suffer from anxiety, say yes
if he doesn't ask you...keep your mouth shut and at next months appointment
tell him you have been having bad anxiety from your new pain meds...he should give you something
Every 3 -6 months or so tell the Dr. the pain meds arn't working like they use to
he should bump you up to more pills or a higher dosage
This is a long drawn out process to get the meds you really want
play the game and before long you'll have 30 mg roxis.Soma, and Xanax

Get an MRI showing a condition to back up your pain needs
This is what I always wondered about. There seem to be plenty of people out there able to do this, but how are they getting away with it? Getting fake MRIs or MRIs belonging to someone else?
-
I have legit lumbar/cervical problem that show up on an MRI
so I have never had a need to find fake MRIs
Wish I could have been more help

You don't need any reason, just fly to Florida if you are fro the US :D

for Xanax, tell the doctor that when you're driving, sometimes for no apparent reason your heart starts to race and you fear that you'll die at any second from a car collision (this is anecdotal, taken from my sister)
Also - I know a guy that is going through a divorce. His "ex" wife has long term depression, bipolar disorders, etc etc. When she told her psychiatrist that she was going through divorce and stuff he x2 her Xanax script.
So I figure, the more messed up your life is, the better the chances of getting Xanax. Tell him someday's, it's easy to go outside and get the mail - and other days that you'll feel so "vulnerable" that you'll just look through the window, afraid of going outside. The thing with panic disorders is that some people become "flight or flight" over the smallest things. These people are also sensitive to words and criticism. Not sure if it's true with everyone on Xanax but these are just some of the characteristics that stick out to me.
Hydrocodone - some doctors will want to see a compound fracture (like a broken bone protruding from your leg) in order to OK narcotic painkillers. They want pain that they can visually see on an xray like cancers and shit . The most convincing thing to do is have your mom or someone come in with you and have her tell the doc how you can't sleep at night because of whatever pain you have.
But before you start rehearsing stories, It's better to just let the peeps going through chemo and the elderly with broken hips get the narco pain killers. Doc's put their careers on the line everytime they write out scripts for painkillers. Painkiller joyrides sometimes end up as OD's and the first person the family and police are going to look at is the Doctor that acted as an enabler.

Not as easy as it once was. The Dea is now making Pharmacies life a living hell
CVS says they will stop filling class 2 scripts
http://www.thefix.com/content/cvs-wont-fill-florida-pain-pill-scrips9292
To receive anything from a pain management clinic you WILL need some documentation
such as xrays, mri, etc this covers their ass as so many clinics have been closed for not following
this procedure
http://articles.sun-sentinel.com/2011-02-23/health/fl-pill-mill-raids-20110223_1_pain-clinics-pill-mills-pain-pill
Most pain clinics will not accept people with out of state ids like they use to before the DEA crackdown
Shouldn't be to hard to get a Florida ID card though

Well I moved from FL a year ago but I was heavily involved in the clinics for 8 years before that. Regarding getting what you want, you may present additional documentation beyond the MRI. A prescription history showing you were already receiving whatever you want (know the reasonable limits, in my day it was 210/120 on 30mgIR/80mgER oxycodone with 90 2mg alprazolam). The trick to using fake ones is to take real ones and alter the information (to get a perfect copy you can re-type it all)- the phone numbers should be changed to lines you control and can be answered by someone who knows what to say if they choose to verify it. The shady clinics know the game, but they're only interested in covering their asses. I wouldn't try any of this outside of known-crooked FL clinics.

Live in South Florida ^_^
South Florida is a fucked up...fucked up place. (Miami is one filthy place)

Luckily something like 75% of spines look damaged on an MRI, so depending on your location, it shouldn't be hard to find an interventional pain management specialist or neurologist that's compassionate.
I actually have horible back injuries and would be fucked if my dr wasnt so understanding.
I get 60 30mg Oxycodone, 90 10mg Oxymorphone IR and 120 Sioma each month for a $200 office visit.
I'm moving to florida because most Dr are even more lax about rxing SCIIsl so with a legit MRI and rx report I will get no less than 240 30mg Oxys, 180 15mg Oxy and 120 2mg Xanax. Basically what EVERY pain clinic patient in FL RX the same regimen.

good luck getting 240...30 mg roxis,and 180 15mg oxy and 120 xanax a month
obviously you haven't been following what the DEA is doing in Florida
I've been with the same pain management clinic for 10 years and he will not prescribe those amounts and before
you say,"you don't have the right clinic/DR... he's top 5 in the USA in amounts of 30 mg roxicodones scribed
He requires documentation every 18 months...new MRIs and I'm in my mid 50s but if your young say 20s good luck finding a Dr
that will script you incredible amounts of opiates
My regime after 10 years is 180 30 mg roxis,2 bottles of oxyfast(liquid oxycodone) 60 soma,60 xanax
I give away the soma and xanax to friends
This is after 10 years with numerous lumbar and cervical herniations
recent tendon damage in my ankle
More to you if you can find a Dr working out of his basement scripting you
the amounts of opiates you believe you will get just walking through his door
Let me know how you do

Florida has really cracked down. The people telling you that you can come to Florida and get easy pain pill and xanax scripts were correct at one point in time but it is no longer the case. There has been legislation passed against Florida pain clinics and now Florida has a ton of people that used to get scripts for roxies, xanax, perks, and somas that cant get anything. Its all about finding the right doctor. You can convince the right doctor that you need xanax but the pain killers are more difficult. I would recommend studying what an anxiety attack is and then going to a doctor and then when he asks whats wrong describe a situation and make it sound like you had an anxiety attack. Also research what types of things cause anxiety and then tell the doctor about a few different events that would cause anxiety. For instance losing a loved one causes anxiety so you could tell your doctor that you recently lost a close family member. Relationships can cause anxiety, for instance if you loved your significant other and they dumped you.......As for the pain pills be careful getting a fake MRI if you get caught its a serious charge.

All of the pain clinics require a Florida ID now. If you have an out of state ID you will be automatically turned away. There is absolutely no chance that you will even be able to see the doctor without a Florida ID because you will be turned away instantly.
This isn't quite the Wild Wild West it once was. The pain clinics are front and center on the news and everyone is indignant about them (including me).
Sorry, but I think you may have missed your opportunity

kinda coincidental that you said that, because i did have a love one who i've lost, so its like i feel like i'm lying to a doctor to get medications that i most likely need anyways. thank god for SR, we can easily bypass this bullshit bureaucracy and this bullshit healthcare system that cares more about profits than the health of patients.

One last thing I think er should add to this thread: regardless of all of the legislation to buckle down on the Florida Pain Clinics if you truly need narc painkillers and the doc won't comply cuz he is a pussyass motherfucker afraid of triggerring an audit the raise the roof, make noise, and type out a rough draft of your letter to the A.G.'s office for your doctor to review before you mail it
... wink wink
Believe me the mother fucker will review your situation and cough up the script. Doctors HATE drawing attention of govt agencies. He or she will jateyou to after this but fuck there asses they are fucking pussy asses not you.
Now. On the other hand, if you don't have a legitimate need for it don't do it. It puts you on a zillion lists of people who may legally have painkillers. I live in the most buttfucketed state in the union and last year the state agreed to release names of people wholive on a certain Indian reservation who have scripts for narcotics. How is that for buttplugging our privacy rights?
