Title: Pawn Stars and American Pickers
Post by: ralph123 on May 23, 2012, 11:47 pm
Anybody like these 2 shows? I like them pretty good plus I like ice road truckers as well. Pawn Stars and American Pickers get on my nerves a little. I mean, do they go to the toilet and crap out cash or what? They take advantage of people right on national tv. I like these shows a lot better then shows like cops or scariest police chases. I hate those type shows. Most of the time it looks like cops are going in and screwing over people who are not bothering anybody.

I like the little tidbits of history and general knowledge you can pick up from these shows... And Rick Harrisons laugh, makes me laugh!

Yea I think it was 2 days ago when I saw the pawn stars have a goat kart race with Matt Kenseth. It was cool. The American Pickers were picking for a Gettysburgh museum and they were getting all kinds of civil war cool stuff

"I did some research online and one of these last sold at auction for 500,000$"

"I'll give you 20 bucks for it"

I've seen 'em hand over large wads of currency!
I always think "you stooging cunts" until he turns around and says "we're in the pawn business, we're not an auction house, if you want the 15 gorillas for it, take it to auction, otherwise I've got 5g cash... right now..."

It's a good example of "money talks and bullshit walks!"
