Title: Why is Silk Road Sometimes Unaccessible?
Post by: Pol Pot Head on October 28, 2012, 03:31 am
I tried going to the site a few minutes ago, and it didn't work. It said that I wasn't unable to connect to the site (for some reason). This has happened to me many times.

It just gets too many users trying to get on at the same time I think.  Also sometimes there aren't enough "nodes".  Thsi si what I have gathered reading different posts, but I could be completely wrong.   I know there is a more detailed explanation for the tech savvy, but I don't entirely understand it myself.  Just keep trying, it does this a lot.  It is the price we pay for a secure site.

Click "Use a New Identity" in the TOR control panel. I've found that each time I use a new identity, sometimes it goes through.

Thanks for the advice, but it didn't work with me this time either.

just open up like 7 tabs and try to open SR in each tab, just keep trying for like 15 minutes and you are sure to get one of them to go through.
