Title: Australian PO Boxes
Post by: joeyjojo on July 09, 2012, 04:31 am
hey there everyone,
i have a question and am sorry if it has been answered already  :-\
i was wondering if you tried to open a po box at auspost, do they check the details you give them against a database?
ie if you use a fake id, with fake details/numbers on it will they know?
thanks in advance oh wise forum  :P

I recently just opened a PO box, using my drivers license, and literally they took the last 4 digits of the card, but all the info i.e. name address etc. was used.
If you had the other means, i.e. proof of address, then i would try it out my friend. If anything goes wrong at that point, you can just act stupid and go i don't carry my wallet in this neighbourhood or something.
But defienately come in there with cash, and know how much you are going to pay and shit. Dont have any EFT transactions on you and your PO box
