Title: PLEASE HELP ME!! ASAP!
Post by: JohnDillinger on November 02, 2011, 06:48 am
Ok first i just wanna say thank you to anyone that helps me out i greatly appreciate it.

I would like to be able to ship to countries outside the USA mostly Europe and Canada but when i tried to get an idea  of sending something to canada(prior to drugs),i brought in a cd that fitted into the padded envelope i am planning on using to ship stuff ppl buy on SILK ROAD(drugs)  and the lady at USPS told me i had to fill out a customs forum and bring the package back in when it was filled out.
So could someone please tell me
1. Specifally how i should send a small padded envelop to canada and/or europe?
2. What shipping option should i use, how can i find out how many stamps i need?
3. Also how do i avoid dealing with anyone in person?

I really want to get this right so i can be as safe and prompt with my orders as possible!

Thanks soooo much in advance for your help:)

WEIGHT=LESS THAN 3 OUNCES

You had to fill out a customs form because you were exporting a good (the CD) that had to be declared. You can send personal correspondence (eg letters) internationally without having to go into a Post Office or fill out any forms. Use the same method that you use to ship domestic.

1. You should send it via first class mail.

2. Go to http://postcalc.usps.gov/ and calculate the rate. (You'll need the dimensions of the envelope and weight.)

3. Use an outdoor blue USPS drop box.

Thanks so much madamebradley i really appreciate it.

I actually just spoke to USPS to and thought id post what they told me
so you dont need any customs forums if
1. Your package is less than 3/4 of an inch thick.
2. It weighs less than 16 ounces
3. The package doesnt have any "goods" (shit that is taxable)

For  First-Class Mail International mailpiece or the Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelope
