I noticed 2 listings where people were selling invites to demonoid.me. Interestingly enough after a brief visit to the website, I couldnt help but notice the following

Please note: Invitations are free. Selling invitations is not allowed. If you paid for your invitation, it will be banned. Don't be fooled, there is no such thing as an authorized account or invite seller."

I find it kind of upsetting that you can't sell invites. But anyway, it's not really a scam since you will probably get what you pay for. If you get caught(how would they know if you bought an invite anyway?), then you get your account banned. It sucks, but I believe most people know this.

I just find it disturbing to scam someone out of their bitcoins just for being ignorant to the fact that what they are paying for doesnt cost a thing. It would be like selling air in a bottle on SR

The thing is invites are, indeed, free. The catch is that you need to get someone to invite you. It's selling something that people may have trouble gaining access to.
I would only consider selling an invite a scam if the seller lied about the nature of obtaining an invite, saying it was super exclusive/difficult, etc.

who wouldn't know this/check on this first? demonoid has been around forever

How dare you label people 'scammers' when you don't even know the definition of the word!

Yeah, people should be able to sell their invites, it's their property! It's not a scam if the invite works and they don't imply it's different than a normal invite.

I am not a fan of scammers but lets be realistic. Selling free invites isnt a scam its just the actions of an enterprising individual. I wouldnt do it myself but I cant feel bad for people that would rather pay for an invite then go to the site and read for 5 minutes and get it for free.
