Title: My trams got inspected by Aussie Customs!
Post by: battyhilda on August 10, 2011, 02:24 am
I received a package of 30xTramadol 50mg (from a great seller) in the mail yesterday, and the parcel had a big sticker on the front saying it was inspected by customs.

Inside they put this note:

It says they inspected but found nothing of concern in the package. INTERESTING!!!

So is it legal to receive Trams in Aus?? Also, has this happened to anyone else with any other products?

i know tramadol will get you messed up but im not sure that its an opiate.

either way rock on dude! that is some great luck.

on the other side, i would find a new shipping address, they probably have that one red flagged now.

It's technically legal to import up to 3 months of a non scheduled drug into the usa. tramadol isnt scheduled in most states and most likely is something similar down under. I have even seen small quantities of scheduled narcotics get through us customs(even after opening and searching).(they were in pill form) but then again, ive seen them confiscated too.

Now, if were molly or weed, you would have received a different letter..

Edit: Technically, Ultram (tramadol) is now considered an opiate. when it was first released, it wasn't considered one. Then they discovered that it has weak MU opioid agonist properties. If you are opiate naive, you will feel it, but its not as strong as codeine. In fact, you need to be careful taking it as it can cause seizures at the 400mg level and above.

Move all drugs from the address just to be on the safe side , trust nobody!
I thought tramadol was definitely illegal in Australia

+1 on that. Aussie customs opened one of my Edibles package, stuff some flyer inside there and packaged it back up. Got the big sticker on the front of the package as well :p
