Title: Unconfirmed Bitcoin Transaction--can't figure out what's holding it up
Post by: Wazup7 on March 04, 2013, 11:29 am
So I was playing SatoshiDice earlier with an extra coin I had in one of my (legitimate) wallets.  I was on a streak, and ended up getting ahead by about 4.5 BTC before I called it a day.  FWIW I keep this wallet far from SR--it's just my fucking around funds that I use on my personal desktop for

Anyway, One of my transactions hasn't confirmed yet, and I have no idea why not.  The size of the transaction is only 258 bytes.  It's a simple transaction--one input to one output and change back to the original input, and I added a generous fee of 0.005 to it, which is way more than the recommended fee for the values in this transaction.  I also did a bunch of other transactions before and after this one, and at this point, the priority of this transaction is way above all of the other ones surrounding it, that have about 40+ confirmations at this point.

It's not a double spend, and by all accounts, it's an isolated issue among the other surrounding transactions.  Anyone have any insight for me?  It's clearly ont a big deal

Here is the transaction in question:  5163fac0d68047773deade2a89076461bad13e33734efa0b312c190262cc7ac8

Let me know what other information would be useful.
