MADE YA LOOK! ;D
Anyway NZT-48 obviously doesn't exist. The 10% use of our brain theory is in the crapper after proof from live medical imaging of the brain. But Nootropics do exist. Marijuana is a nootropic...the term is loose.
I've been doing some research on Nootropics in general, Modafinil has been my focus, as well as the many racetams out there like Piracetam, Oxiracetam and Aniracetam.
Wiki fills the space here for what I'm talking about. :) Extensive amount of chemicals, functions, and effects. Read up.
Does anyone have experience taking these chemicals? I have read crazy shit about people having photographic memories and developing brain powers.
Not necessarily of the Modafinil but the racetams.
If this is true, i want it on Silk Road. I want us to be hyper-smart always and four MORE steps ahead of LE.
Get at me people tell me your experiences

If somebody could source ampakines, especially CX717, that would be awesome! 8)

I've tried both piracetam and anracetim. With the first I did feel something. It was more creativity and tenacity to think outside the box to solve problems. Also there was a great euphoric uplift. It did take some time to notice anything. Some say they feel it in hours, but it was about a week for me. I also did an attack dose where you load up on it. I can say the piracetam was good, but it was subtle and gave that wonderful extra step or two. It could have been completely placebo, who knows. When I tried anracetim I had to stop as every time I would take it I would get some really bad headaches right after. I also took choline bitartate with both, especially piracetam, never missed a dose, as that helps absorption and enhancing it's effects. What I really want to try is oxeracetam. That sounds promising, it's just very expensive when compared to piracetam.

I've tried both modafanil and armodafanil (modafanil is the racemate and armodafanil is one of the stereoisomers I think), and I really don't like either of them. They're prescribed for sleep disorders, where people have shifts that cause them to have odd schedules. While it is somewhat like a stimulant in that it keeps you awake, it didn't seem to help me mentally at all, in fact I would physically be awake but still seem to mentally be 'asleep', as in I would lay in bed unable to physically fall asleep but still have some sort of dreams. Not only that, but it lasts a very long time (armodafanil seems to last longer), and it would keep me up at night till 4 or 5 am, even when I took it at 8 or 9 am in the morning.

there are tons of discussions about nootropics around the tubez - including clearnet.
while there are mixed results - the racetams have a generally good track record of enhancing people's cognition in various capacities. modanifil acts in a less subtle way, and perhaps with a higher variance of effects (positive/negative).
Other than those two big fish, there are a ton of experiments noots out there to read up on!
BTW: Piracetam is still legally purchasble on places like Amazon.com, although I've seen word that the state is attempting to cut that off, even though racetams aren't a scheduled substance yet.

Hmm sounds interesting. Just the other day someone was suggesting Modafinil for help with focus and ADD.

armodafinil is a dream for me. I have hypersomnia so this is perfect for me (and ridiculously expensive). I dont know if its been posted yet, but it's the r-enantiomer of modafinil, whereas modafinil has both s- and r-.
on a side note, has anyone heard any more research on MEM-1414, the research chemical that create more long term memories?

Sorry for digging out this older-than-internets thread, but I was wondering: how hard can it be to obtain any of ampakines?
Like, anything from this category: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Ampakines
I've read those articles a hundred times and I'm so eager to be able to try out some of these. Ofc most of them are still under reasearch, but some have already got to the market.
Google obviously doesn't give any satisfactory results, but I'm guessing here at .onion sites this subject must've been discussed a lot. Is anyone able to at least hint me where to look for some forums or any place else where I could get in touch with people that tried out ampakimes?

I've heard that taking piracetam for the 5 days or so before an MDMA roll helps you out a lot as well.
Is SR the best for piracetam or is there a cheaper clearnet source?

It depends on where you live I guess. In Czech Republic piracetam is legally available in pharmacies. I'm buying it there in packages of 60x1200mg capsules for 6 euro. IMO in such amounts it's almost for free.
Also, I wanted to edit last post, that I've tried both piracetam and modafinil. So, my experience:
Modafinil? Incredible in means of getting 100% alert and insomniac for the next 24hrs ;) And I'm not kidding, in december I had a sh**load of things to do and not enough time, got 10 pills from SR and it was a blessing. I've slept for like 10hrs in 7 days, keeping full mental capacity and working tirelessly. It's always hard to tell whether it anyhow made my brain work in 2.0 mode (was it even supposed to?), but nonetheless the overall results are undeniable. Next week I returned to my regular sleeping routine with no trouble at all. The question is, how much long lasting damage has that turbo-week done to my brain? Yeah, modafinil seems to be a silent killer, especially because one doesn't notice any side effects.
Towards piracetam though I'm quite indifferent. Been taking it once for 3 months, then after a half year break for 2 months (varyring dosages, experimenting etc) and I felt utterly, absolutely nothing. At all. It worked as much as coffee. Except I'm immune to caffeine as well ;) I have no idea how is this possible, but I'm not lying, dunno maybe there's sth wrong with my body - all I seem to 'feel' is 99% placebo. Both in case of coffee and piracetam. No alertness enhancements, no miraculous upgrades of mental functions. Maybe I should try once and mix those two?

Joe Rogan endorses Nootropics, check out Onnit, they have the recipe on the website freely available so you can copy it 8)
