Can someone walk me through a scenario of buying from localbitcoins? It looks like there are several different ways to do it. I would like to do everything online if possible. Also, it looks like most folks want payment from okpay but when I set up a okpay acct it said they no longer do it????
Thanks for helping a F'ed up noob!

I use localbitcoins all the time, over 30 transactions with online banking, just find someone with online banking next to their name, they mostly have a 100% feedback and the money is in escrow anyway, it can take from 5mins to over an hour but if you click on the sellers name it tells you when they were last online which helps its pretty easy and i,ve had zero problems ;)

Localbitcoins is awesome but you'll probably get a much better deal meeting people with cash than the online deals because the people that deal with moneypak and stuff seem to charge huge fees and you get less coin for the money.

1. log onto account
2.find a user u r comfortable and they have the payment option u desire (i dunno if u can do it online unless u have paypal, people accept that)
3.complete the payment process(bank deposit, western union, moneygram etc) and click the "payment complete" button.
4. once that is done the seller will have to verify u paid(picking his payment up or checking his online banking. something like that depending on what u used)
5. when they verify with localbitcoins that everything is good localbitcoins then releases the btcs into ur wallet that is automatically made when u make ur account.
6. Im hoping u know the rest of the process...send to personal wallet then to SR yada yada....
really easy as hell i just used it for the first time a few days ago when i realized bitinstant was down i paniced haha. but yea bitcoin brokers is similar they just do the middle manning between buyer and seller, protects both from scam.. God Bless the escrow system ;D

If you click on "show all online in United States" then scroll to the bottom there's a "show by payment method" option as well.
