Post by: g2x on June 03, 2012, 02:03 pm
Is BMR down for anyone else ?
All these down times are really taking business away from them .

Even if i is not a good site, could you please post the address?

I always ask myself, what is going to happen, if they will be one day able to force SR to go down. So every alternative place is welcome to me.

cheers

Take that as a sign from above that BMR is just a waste of time.

.Onion sites seem to be randomly down. Just get a new identity with your Tor client and try again. Agreed tho BMR is a waste of time unless you can find reputable domestic sellers there. SR all the way, as far as I am concerned.

Yes but, in all reality, what reputable vendor selling on BMR wont be on SR too? Unless you're looking for AIDs (Yes, HIV laden needles) or a fake killer, BMR offers nothing.

I don't know. I am talking as someone from Finland. It seems that most Finnish sellers have chosen BMR instead of SR so I made a general comment about reputable domestic sellers who sell drugs, not HIV needles or hired killers. There is a good Finnish drug-dealing scene on BMR, really there is, and maybe it applies to some other countries, too? Looking at the feedback of the most international sellers I wouldn't risk my luck on purchasing anything from BMR from a foreign seller I could find on SR. But there are at least a few domestic sellers for me who are as brilliant as some of the best sellers I have come across on SR. But my overall rating for BMR is 2/10.

I guess, you maybe correct. Sometimes its easy to forget that I'm just from a tiny pimple on the ass of this big world. Possibly finiish vendors have reason to use it more?

I'm sure its got a few good souls but, for what I'm doing, SR > BMR all day.

My first time buying off deep net was thru BMR and I got scammed, cant blame anyone but myself but I prefer SR over BMR from personal experience. Theres alot of legit vendors on BMR but theres alot more scammers too. Just do your research before u buy from any vendor and u should be fine

This. Doesn't matter where you get scammed - it's always your own fault. I haven't been scammed once in my life and I use BMR a lot more than SR (and I've saved a shitload of money that way :P).

I found Mr. Fire and apparently Supertrips on there. So that sounds like a haven for scammers to me.
All of onion-land is a haven to scammers.

Just checked the link provided here, and BMR is back up again, enter at your choosing, I personally will never purchase from there (I don't like the fact their vendors accounts are free, which pretty much opens up the floodgates for scammers), but as Ballzinator says there may be a few good genuine offers there if you keep your wits about you. Personally it's not for me, but if it's right for you, go for it. For as long as SilkRoad is in existence and prospering, I shall remain loyal  :)

I just placed an order on BMR. You go to the store that's open. If your guy's not on the corner, you go to the next corner.

I set up vendor accounts on sr and bmr at the same time, after 2 weeks on bmr i had one message for a free sample and zereo orders so I just shut it down. There's way more traffic on SR

I wouldn't even bother with BMR personally.  The drug selection is absolute shit compared to SR. Most of the vendors I saw have little to no track record or feedback of any sort. And within 3 minutes I had already spotted several vendors on BMR that were banned from SR. Kind of hard not to notice when they're too lazy to even change their prices or product descriptions from what they were on SR before being banned. That entire site has a Craigslist/backpages vibe to it.

Kind of creepy over there - the whole operation seems kind of amateurish with lots of typos + some information posted by mods/ admin is gibberish, English does not appear to be the native tongue of the peeps in charge.  Also, no real selection/ variety, found only 300 cannabis listings then found only one U.S. vendor with any kind of stats/history.  From what I read over there, buyers do NOT encrypt when submitting orders, apparently the BMR system encrypts the order automatically - not liking that at all.  I'm gonna wait for SR to come back up  :-*

I actually just made a purchase from you on BMR. I wasn't going to buy form there until I saw you had listings so I jumped on it. I'm not liking that site either, nowhere near as streamline as SR.

Ballzinator, what tips would give people who were interested in having the same level of scam experiences as you?

Seriously, people. Moronic admin, open vendor-accounts, copy-cat site from a complete moron who's also so reprehensible as to allow fucking child porn in the beginning... No, it sounds more like a honeypot than anything.

Yes, the SR is better - when it is running.

You get the same level of service from me there as you do here. There, proof that not everything on BMR is a scam.

Didn't read any of this thread really but I can already mention the most important difference between SR and BMR.

BMR uses pre-existing software that was modified for site. SR uses in-house software built from the ground up with security and anonymity the highest priorities.

That's it; nothing else really matters at all.

Nothing wrong with BMR you just need to take a long time finding out whos legit and not a scammer. Ive set up an account there, its very quiet but ive had one sale. SR is better, my account there is incase theirs downtime here. There does seem to be a lot of legit finnish sellers/ buyers, dont know why that is.
