Title: What if Vendor is really LE and delivers package to "wrong" name at right addres
Post by: LR@anonymous.org on November 08, 2012, 11:44 pm
What if vender is LE and they deliver package to "wrong" name at right address and package is not opened by recipient?  Package is just left sitting, by recipient, outside door (protected area) for a long while, say couple of days unopened.  Safe from possible sting?

No, they just add a mail fraud charge once you open it. Because the time and effort to stake out a personal use bust costs more than the charges will yield, but when you add mail fraud, then it is a value added bust :)

You mean that LE won't do a CD for personal use order until a more significant charge like mail fraud can be applied?

This makes absolutely no sense to me considering that any Schedule I drug being ordered here (which most of the product here is) being shipped through USPS (and especially crossing state lines) is a major felony regardless of how much.

If anything, I would respond to the OP that it would be stupid to use a "wrong" name with your order since you're potentially adding another serious felony to the already serious felony you'd be committing by placing an order here on SR.

And contrary to popular opinion of many on these boards, don't lull yourself into believing that ordering only "personal amount" weight shields you from LE scrutiny.  I agree that it makes it unlikely but it's incredibly foolish to underestimate the stupidity of the zealots and bureaucratic morons within LE.
