Title: Changing Wallet address. Did I fuck up???

A few minutes ago a friend send me a loan to my bitcoin address but i changed my address (i clicked get new address on the SR account page).

Will these coins still arrive or am i shit out of luck??

God I should have just sent my SR name in hindsight.........

I'm only just now getting into the encryption currency scene but from my understanding:

When you generate a new address it is not a randomization of numbers but is pulling a new encrypted set of numbers from a pool of say 100 different and unique strings of possibilities that are specific to your Wallet. When you use an "old" address it will still end up being picked up from your pool and should receive the coins. I hope this is reassuring but take it with some grain of salt because like I said, I am not 100% sure.

No you're fine, your old Bitcoin address is still valid. For several reasons I use a new address for each different transaction.
