Title: P.O. Box
Post by: chalkandstone on November 15, 2012, 07:15 am
Due to my living situation I only have access to a P.O. box. I don't plan on ordering anything in very large bulk (just an 8th the first time) but will this be a problem? The P.O. box its self is relatively small so boxes have to be handed to you in person.

Thanks

No, you wont have any problems.
But you may have to pick up and sign for items that come from overseas or Canada if they dont fit in your box.

I will try to stick to US sellers. Do some sellers not ship to P.O. boxes?

Some vendors don't ship to PO Boxes, if that's the case though it should be on the product listing or vendor page.

Why won't some vendors ship to  PO box?  I've never heard this before.  Regardless...the Post Office now offers box holders the option of using a a street address instead of having to use "PO BOX #___" (http://www.giantprintshop.com/2012/02/01/street-addressing-now-available-for-usps-p-o-box-holders/)  Also..if you currently rent a box too small for a a Flat Rate envelope to fit in ..consider upgrading to a larger box.  PO boxes are cheap and the cost of larger size boxes are well worth not having to go to the counter to pick up.  The fewer people handling your pkg the better.
