Hey!
i'm not that expirienced with freebase cocaine so would be happy if anybody could inform me:-)
does freebase really degrades fast because of oxygen?
how long can i store it in a plastic baggy so that i don't loose too much.
also fo the chemists why does it degrade faster than in the salt form

No. The freebase cocaine should be alright to store in a baggie almost indefinitely. This does not apply to all freebases.
From a chemistry perspective, freebases of compounds are generally less stable than their salt forms because the freebases are more reactive (with things in the atmosphere). That's because it's a tough life being a freebase, as your base is free of a proton and badly wants it.
Atmospheric reactions result in a mixture of compounds, some of which may have have properties which are not desirable (increased temperature of vaporization, non-selective pharmacological activity, etc).
