Title: The dying Culture and ways to survive.
Post by: idukku on June 03, 2013, 05:14 am
Boom Shankar!

Brothers/Sisters,

I am new to SR and its corresponding forum. I am really spellbounded by the opportunity SR has given  people to take control of their life, by following their heart.
I am from the land of high quality Hash, and Afeem(read :opium). I am passionate about my smoke, and I believe in sharing this commodity to my brothers and sisters of silkroad and inturn help the poor farmers from getting exploited even more.

Please let me know if anything can be done to promote and uplift the dying culture.

Suggestions are welcome.

Peace,
Idukku.

An update,
Recent rains due to the early onset of monsoon has ravaged the sorrounding valleys of Uttrakhand and Himachal Pradesh(India) nearly 70,000 people are stranded as the roads are blocks due to landslides, thousands of people are dead, many cant be found..Losses are huge, the poor farmers are mostly affected as they could not save the fields and the their houses from being flushed away. Communication lines are down mostly..
Hope this tyranny gets over soon..
I spoke to the farmers personally, they are morally down, but still has hope and are ready to rebuild everything from the scratch once mother nature calms herself.

Thanks,

Peace,
Idukku
