What do I do? $3000 stolen. Can I take to court?

I gave a friend $3000 worth of goods and he never paid me back. When I tried to get the money from him he texted me saying he's pissed and that it not getting it back. Then a week later he said it was taken from him and that he'd try to give me what he could every week which never ended up happening. And supposedly he ripped off someone else for $2000 after he ripped me.

So I have text messages of him saying the money was taken and that he'd pay it back.

Could I take him to court over this? There is nothing drug related in the texts just about the money.

Anytime I have had a drug deal go bad, I immediately call the cops. They are very helpful with collecting drug debts.

This has literally nothing to do with DNMs. Congrats.

Don't do this man. You'll end up getting yourself in trouble.

Meet up with the dude that lost 2k, go beat the shit out of the theif?

[14 Points] SarBJ:

You serious bro?

If you try to get the law involved I can pretty much guarantee you'll end up in cuffs.

On the street your only real options are to get violent (not condoning that) or to take the loss..

Yes judge....I gave my friend $3000 dollars worth of ILLEGAL drugs & he is refusing to pay what is owed!!!!!

Things you don't lend to family & friends....Money & drugs!!!!

So what the fuck is it doing in r/DarkNetMarkets?

[6 Points] elloman13:

You got 2 options. Option 1: Use violence and intimidation to convince him to pay up, also take his things as collateral. Option 2: Do nothing and never see your money again.

Is this serious? If you're asking a question like this, hustling is not in your blood. Charge it to the game or bust his knees with a bat. Close friends and family are aways the ones that rob you because they are know and want what you have.

Get ahold of a book called "How to Ruin Someone's Life" and wage an all out war against this guy. If you're close with the guy who lost 2K you can get walkie talkies and make coordinated attacks and really terrorize this guy. At some point you let him know that the reign of terror will not stop until you are paid in full. There are a lot of things you can do to fuck a person's life up that will cost him a hell of a lot more than 5K.

[3 Points] kralleo:

did he admit that he owns 3000 dollars in any of the text messages? if he did you have a chance. talk to a lawyer. tell him you loaned him money as a friend. and he never paid back.

There's nothing you can do without written aggreement, contract or proof.

You can try but you will lose.

[2 Points] smokingjackass:

just take the l. life is in that. so many lessons

[2 Points] Udaypbuh:

Either fuck him up or just let it go

[2 Points] disk1997:

Why would you give anyone 3k in product there was your first mistake

[2 Points] FruityV:

If "goods" were drugs and you want to sue him you need doctor asap.

[2 Points] King_Zagan:

Ahh the goods I suppose are not of the legal variety?

If so no you can't take him to court. You can however beat the ever loving shit out of him. This ain't a fuck around and don't pay back what you owe kinda game man.

[2 Points] rilksoadvb5piz3r:

the mere fact you ask this questions here, makes the obvious answer: let it go, forego illegal activity.

Jesus you are absolutely retarded for making this post. Please stop dealing drugs you are obviously too stupid.

[2 Points] Peachesandgreen:

just do little things to fuck with him but wont lead back to you, like say leaving nails in front of his tires so he will run over them and slowly air out while he drives around like a dummy.

[1 Points] jakepig:

HAHAHAHAHAHaha thanks for the good read peace

[1 Points] adruglessman:

I'm going to disagree with everyone. You should definitely take him to court, it's a sure win.
