I tend to make a few thousand dollar cash deposits into banks such as Bank of America, Chase etc each week. Around 3-5K.
Obviously when I am making these deposits the ask me for my ID which fine. The only thing I don't understand is why do they type my drivers license number into the computer???
For what reason do they do that?
Should I be considered about it? Considering the amounts I have transfer weekly?
There has to be a reason for it and weather it's negative or positive I'd like to know some details and some specific information on why they do it.
This week when I go to do an LBC bank transfer I will ask the lady what they use my drivers license number for.
Probably logs it to a database
