Had a follow up meeting recently about previously confiscated substances. Test results of such results were discussed. Some were correct to what they were claimed to be. Alprazolam tested as Valium. Not too much of a surprise as this world can be sketchy at times. Then amphetamine in the order of magnitude of grams tested as, wait for it, oxycodone. Such a ridiculous result that raised a red flag in me that how bad LE's tests can be.
First off, they're not even in the same category. They do not resemble the other chemically. Through prior use of the substance in question it was obvious it was a stimulant. Marquis tested to a strong orange redish, a sign for the presence of amphetamine.
Anyone have any input on LE's methods and or what possibly could have been in there to be missed by lower level tests but spark a oxy flag on "advanced" tests?
Few things to clarify:
The marques testing was from a previous date, and not by LE.
LE did lab tests and not field tests. No idea about the nature of the test

a friend of mine got arrested with a whole bunch of goodies (non DNM related), two of which were MDMA and DMT. cops said both the MDMA and DMT tested as heroin
