This could be a double edged sword. On one side we will definitely receive some scrutiny and resistance, but on the other, this might open locked minds and give the war on drugs a shove in the right direction. Either way, since man has understood the concept of "self", he has searched for ways to alter his conscience, and in the age of technology, the DarkNet is here to stay. They can lock up Ross, pull a million CD's, but this idea is like a fire that has gone unchecked and now will never be controlled!
[5 Points] Vendor_BBMC:
id anyone else see just how much they showed to the general public?
WE are the general public. There's nothing special about us, just because we hear about something before somebody else did.
Its that sort of attitude that is keeping the DNM share of the drug industry tiny, with little choice in markets or drugs, little competition, and low standards.

Fuck Vice

VICELAND has presented nothing new that hasn't been well known or documented fully in some style and mass distributed to the public in many forms. People still don't understand. LE is still on the case we all know, even if it's 'double time' now boyz.
This is just a fluff piece for those who are completely out of the loop to go omg that's a real thing? Lemme call up my local sheriff (which is total sarcasm). People watched it and went wow, criminal activity is just a bit more sophisticated than it was a couple years ago... whodathunk, then they switch channels and watch Family Guy.
[2 Points] actualdnmuser:
You have to understand there's a community here that believe this will help the well being of the war on drugs...and then people who just want drugs. However I was generally interested in the episode, they did expose a lot but the same as googling "how to buy drugs online" or whatever dumb shit people would do to find out about this. I can see this going wrong for people that'll be too quick to do research and just hop on and get caught. But Don't see this affected smart users, just because they posted an episode doesn't mean LE is now informed and aware that this exist.

I wish i didnt watch. Fuck Viceland
[2 Points] throwaway43212341234:
Anyone have a link to watch it?
[2 Points] thecoolbrian:
You can watch it if you sign into your cable provider https://www.viceland.com/en_us/video/dark-web/57b771818f921daa556c6946 If you don't have an account, you guys know where you buy them lmao.

Reminds me of when Forbes Magazine did an interview with DPR. From flash to bang it seemed like the FBI wasn't that interested until one minute after Breaking Bad aired, boom! Busts!
My point is the press is bad and the media will betray you. And since its election season in the US, big wins for the media include political saber rattling against that ISIS sells drugs to children through AOL instant messages.

Im on the edge now of thinking its "Ok" to give Vice info or talking to them now but im sure by now they are embedded in this Sub and the markets.

The host of the episode purchased etizolam on Alpha Bay. Isn't buying anything off the DNM illegal?
[1 Points] SlappySpanBank:
Why exactly is everyone upset about this? How is this going to "bring more heat from LE"? Forbes made an article and video about them ordering weed from several different vendors, some out of the country, a few years ago. They showed what the packages looked like and even opened them on camera. Did that bring more heat to the DNM's that caused a major threat? No.
The only reason I can think anyone would be upset is the price of drugs on the street would fall so drug dealers will lose out on money. Well that's what would happen if the war on drugs ended so pick a side already. Do you want drugs to be legal for everyone or do you want to make money off them? Idc either way. Just know what you support and why.

Fuck vice...make this private pleasssse
[1 Points] Cooney22:
You guys are blowing this a bit up. Is it dumb, yes! But there have been articles and documentaries for years. What do you think happened during the Ross trial? Google buy X drug online and tons of DNM guides come up. At one point there was a senator going nuts about it. Infact I typed buy illegal drugs online and deepdotweb was the 2nd link with a straight tutorial. For most of you guys the DNM started months or maybe 2 years ago, alot of us have been here since BTC was $5. This shit isnt new, every couple of months a new article gets out, people flip and life goes on.
[1 Points] dandydaniels:
was it that real skinny kid that does all the drug pieces doing the on the scene reporting?
[1 Points] Udaypbuh:
Only people mad are the 1s that stand to lose a profit from selling drugs they acquire off the DNM. Go get a real job and shut the fuck up
[1 Points] Universityqualms:
Is this on YouTube or what?
[1 Points] slangcorp:
Protip: Develop relationships with your favorite vendors so you can start doing private deals and ignore the marketplaces
[1 Points] isaacearlg:
Can someone link me to watch?

Where can I watch. I can't find the fucking thing

I think it was informative. I am a lot less anxious about buying now. Thats for sure. Theres kinda like a real face put on the person that's possibly gonna sell me something.
I do think I will take my op sec as a potential buyer way more seriously now after watching this and for the future I will seriously swot up if I intended to become a vendor of some sort,so it can only be a good thing to have people in this community watch a program like this, I think vice is actually doing us a favour, it's clear as the nose on your face that all this is nothing new to LE so don't get upset that they are giving away your secrets lads , just be more careful.
When it's just me and my computer in my darkened living room it feels a lot safer than it actually is, almost like you can't be touched, you get away with a delivery as a buyer. You get some confidence. You get bigger than your boots and have some notions become a vendor selling on a few grams of weed or coke you bought from a serious vendor and low and behold your suddenly find your self sitting in a police interview room facing 3 years in prison and your not so content as you were in that darkened living room any more.
It was a good program. But I'm not a vendor so I guess I might have a different view.

These always piss me off so much. Vice's whole shtick of "let's expose this underground culture without any real concern for the well-being of the culture or the people in it so we can appeal to an "alternative" crowd of poseurs that fancy themselves as iconoclasts but are really as vanilla white bread as it gets" is getting old.
