Expecting pack(s), terrifying note in PO box

For obvious reasons, I'm going to skip a lot of important details in this post. Sorry for being vague, hope you all understand.

I have not ordered from the DNMs in over 2 months. I'm expecting a multi-parcel shipment from a well-reviewed vendor to my PO box.

When I went to check it, there was a piece of paper hanging towards the back of the box, facing towards the back (so that any workers putting stuff in my box see it.) That being new, it caught my eye. I flipped it to where I could read it and my heart leaped into my throat.

I don't want to post exactly what it said, but it wasn't good. No doubt, I'm being watched closely. Address burned.

The pack(s) were not there, just regular mail. It's either still inbound, or has been confiscated. I've written the vendor, waiting for a reply.

My mind is spinning with questions, but I'm mainly just not sure what to do now. Do I keep checking my box, as if nothing's wrong? Do I avoid checking mail for a few weeks? I get my regular mail there, usually check once a week.

I know not to sign anything, not to say anything, and to memorize a lawyer's number. House is clean. Can't move to Belize.

Any advice? How fucked am I?

What do you have to worry about? You've never had anyone ship you anything illegal. You have no idea what was in the mail. Your house is clean and you don't have anything illegal. A lawyer is your best friend. And when talking to cops the best thing you can do is keeping your mouth shut about any ideas you might have about proving your innocence or opinions on anything. Say that to a lawyer, not a cop.

update?

You might not be fucked at all, but then again, we can't know until we know what was said on the piece of paper and how large the shipment was. Usually if you're fucked, you don't know you're fucked until it's too late, CD.

Update: Vendor is quite confident in his stealth (unless they somehow have a warrant, then I'm screwed.) Tracking data looks normal, nothing awry. Said if his packs were being profiled, he would've heard something from other customers, and he hasn't. His advice is to pick it up, with head held high. Now I just need to figure out how to do that without having a panic attack! Holy fuck this is intense.

You just better clean your house, then sit in the living room and wait for them to kick down the door. As soon as they start questioning, ask for a lawyer. If you don't have anything illegal in your house and get yourself a lawyer then you should be fine. Depending on huge of a paper trail you've left.
