On Dreammarket scamming got quite common cause of the custom "terms" each vendor can set.
It happens on every market with custom terms for vendors.
There is a huge wave of vendors that don't even send the order, wait for the dispute and then send the 50% reship they set in their terms (or even less % or nothing).
It's like there is a stronger focus set on the vendors than on the customers, having both parties never trusting each other.
Usually the markets were built on trust, something that looses importance day to day.
What ways are there to ensure that vendors send the advertised product and don't exploit the custom terms?
How about making at least thumbnails including the product and a namecard obligatory for this kind of goods?
Including options to search for full escrow and partial escrow (custom terms) would be better too.
Allowing FE is a hot topic... the chances of selective scamming are too high.
But it wouldn't be a fix for all the problems...
If I were to create a market it would be a forum, since giving vendors a good chance to present their products and themselves is a quite important part... and reading the direct interactions between the vendor, customer and tests about the products is quite ensuring.
Deutschland im Deep Web was the best we had.
What happened to the old times?
this started at AB, actually, you can give a fuck about those terms.
if some vendor does say he refunds only 50% on a escrow order, ok. but it is simply not his decision. escrow is escrow, this 50% FE shit is something they say, but no one should really care for. never was refunded for 50%, always got my 100%.
