Tips on finding resellers in a new city?

This question is for dealers that have successfully established a low-key network of people working under them. The specific product doesn't really matter, I'm looking for generalized tips and if you could provide some that'd be great.

I have no idea on how I'm supposed to find reliable mid-level dealers that have no friendship/familial ties to me. I've been making acquaintances with sketchy people at sketchy events, meeting their dealers, buying from said dealers, then offering them some samples to sell, and finally evaluating whether or not I like them.

So far in my attempts, most of the guys turned out to be low-hanging fruit. Reckless, flashy, no consideration for the future, etc. More for the lifestyle than the money.

I get that the best ones are already part of a network, if not near the top themselves, and I could end up treading down the path that gets my teeth kicked in. But is there a way to find some humble guys who'd be willing to make a decent buck that aren't bums?

if you want to build a small, good network, here's what you do.

find a good sales job. not retail, you are constantly being watched and have supervisors. something where people come through often, but maybe in limited quantities, less than 20 or 30 an hour.

after working there for a bit, identify the locals and repeat customers that are younger or seem chill. strike up conversations with these people when you have a bit of freedom to say what you want. then, drop subtle hints about drugs or common drug things, and work your way from there. deal with them after business hours, never in the store.

if your new city is a big one, and you have a good car, get on uber or lyft. when you drive people around, especially people going to clubs or events, you can drop hints that you could get them party favors.

things of this nature. not everyone is cut out for online vending, and building a trustworthy network naturally is extremely beneficial.

Yeah like 9000 said if you got enough product to sell in bulk to resellers, why not become vendor.

You don't find resellers to trust, you make resellers out of the friends and family you already do. If doing that doesn't make you feel good, you're already way ahead of yourself - before finding resellers, you have to first be comfortable with the uncomfortable. The drug business is a people business first. The art of the hustle is mind management. That's all I'm willing to tell you.

I am a greedy bastard I would say sell to the low hanging fruit but set it up so they dont even know a solid number to get in contact with you. They will eventually introduce you to someone who isnt low hanging fruit or you teach them how now to be such low hanging fruit while keeping a distance from them so they are constantly buying and either still eating them or have become smart enough to realize if they sell more they can buy more for themselves.

Use those low hanging fruit to your advantage, they're all still part of the drug tree, user's tend to have suppliers and chances are more than one right? Well offer the users you know to introduce you too their usual dealer or the person they know thats most consistent & always has the best stuff & see if you can make bizniss work like that.. Disclaimer yur gnna be giving samples till you find the ppl your looking for and your allowed to cutt ties with anyine you dont wanna deal with again just make sure to be safe and smart never say exactly how much you get and where its kept etc etc
