Also consider the realistic probability of LE taking the time and resources to find you before you start losing sleep over such an attack being completed against you.

because the IP address broadcasts the transaction to the network
As I understand it thus far, unless coins are on an exchange (such as coinbase) they are untraceable. If transactions are attached to an online exchange, IP address could be vulnerable.
