PenguinMixer has your lost coins...

Reminder...the PenguinMixer minimum input payment is 0.02 btc per output address you specify (so for example 0.02 if you want your payment sent to just one, and 0.06 if you want it sent to 3 separate addresses). Someone recently created a mix to output to 5 addresses, but sent in less than 0.1 btc. If you are that person and want your coins back, and can provide me with your secret mixing key, please contact me.

O_o Talk about going out of your way. Props.

u/penguinmixer You are a saint among men. Anyone else (shamefully, probably myself included) would have just kept that money and let the user take the L. Keep up the good work, karma will reward you greatly! :)

Thanks folks for the nice words. Surprisingly, the person has not yet contacted me. It seems like if someone sent coins into a mixer and didn't get any back they would go back to the web site to check the status of their mix...and maybe then notice their input payment was less than the minimum. And then either send in another payment to bring their total over the minimum, or find the Contact page to get help. Oh well...I will hold the coins for that person if they contact me eventually (of course provided they can give me the correct secret mixing key).

Damn, nice. Think I found a new tumbler.

Never used a tumbler before but I'm gonna use penguin mixer for my Christmas order. On a related issue, does anyone have experience with buying bitcoin directly from Circle and purchasing stuff on a market? Is tumbling once enough for my account to not get flagged?

In case anyone is curious what happened with this...

The day after I posted this thread, I was contacted by someone who said something like, "Hi, I'm the one who lost the bitcoins." And they provided the correct secret mixing key. So I responded and said they could either send more into the mixer to bring their payment over the minimum, and then they would get mixed bitcoins back as usual, or they could just give me a bitcoin address to return their bitcoins to. I have so far not received a response to that e-mail...after 3 days...

Also, did anyone here send in over 2.0 btc, even though the web site warns you not to do this? If so, contact me to get your overage back...

Wow penguins can talk! this shit is narrly man!

[1 Points] jack19056:

If you are so gullible in believing this, then don't fucking be on the DNMs. There is no one who lost their 0.02 BTC! This is fucking PR stunt to make you believe Penguin is being run by good and humble people. PLEASE STOP BEING STUPID!!!

Any reason not to just automatically return any such payments (minus tx fee) back to whatever address they came from?
