Hello DarkNetMarket Users,
We here at Apple Market would like to announce another change of our ever evolving market to you, the community.
There will be no more weapons listings to be found on Apple Market.
There are many and some more obvious than other reasons for this decision but overall we see it as a sign of maturity, which is fitting for our growing market.
I mean really though, if we bein' real about it..
Its coz Gucci Mane outta prison.
But yeah, seriously no more weapons guys. Sorry.
On the upside, we have continued making more user friendly changes that are better experienced than explained.
Some of these changes are:
We reorganized the profile page and gave it a tabbed layout so that you can find relevant information on a vendor in a convenient way.
We have made significant improvements to the way vendors can manage their products and orders.
Vendors can now select multiple orders and accept them all at once.
Vendors can now mark products as "out of stock". The Add To Cart button on a product marked as out of stock appears grayed out with "Out Of Stock" written on it.
There are also check-boxes on the product page so that a vendor can perform an action on multiple products at once.
We created a "Review" Button that appears after an order has been finalized. This leads to the review page for a product.
We also made significant security upgrades which we are not at liberty to discuss. But one of such changes is that we do not have any phishing sites pointing to Apple Market. Though this is not a tangible feature our users can use but it does improve market security when the chance of users losing coins on our platform is minimized.
We now collect vendor bonds of 0.1 BTC (This is experimental and we might remove this). The bonds are refundable after two successful orders.
So come join us on the ground floor of something great.
We hope to see you over on Apple Market soon.
Vendors are now required to put in a bitcoin public key so that they can accept Multi-Signature orders
PS - If you readers just want juicy lines of computer analysis to satiate your desires, then fine.
Hold your hats.
The other week a moderator on our market conducting scam patrols noticed 2 new vendors making listings.
One making drug listings, the other weapons.
The drugs listed by the first vendor were all the "hard" drugs with vague descriptions.
Hmmm. Suspicious but something we could watch.
The other vendor was uploading listings of nice and shiny weapons. Them weapons though, there was quite a few listings and they were kinda beautiful n shiny.
We started digging and, he's talking about having a FFL on his profile.
But thats no biggie, right?
Oh, wait.
Clearnet address for a gun dealer in Duluth on the listing description though.
Redflag. Gameover.
Either scam or LE right? One kinda scarier than the other. So our moderator gets the dumb idea to investigate this scam/LE gun vendor and he found that this led to a vendor account with a different name on alphabay(it wasnt much of a surprise really).
This account on alphabay though, had the exact same listings that the new drug vendor on Apple did...
...
Haha, what a coincidence.
You bet we banned both of those scam/LE vendors quicker than flash gordon with a full bladder.
While this is not the sole reason of our announcement, we would like to pass on this scam/LE vendor account info to the alphabay mods(HMU Trappy) and encourage all users to always do research before purchases.
BRRRRRR!! @ scammers.
=)
