I deposited into Alphabay and it came through! Then I withdrew and it came back.

Just wanted everyone to know that they did not steal my money. I deposited $100 for the vendor bond, but it was unfortunately increased to $150 so I simply withdrew it back into my wallet. It came back within a few minutes.

I used a 0.004 as the miner's fee ($1.30) in the deposit, which made it have pretty fast confirmations (showed up after 20 minutes).

So honestly, use 2FA, have a complex password, and even use TAILS. If you do so, I'm sure you'll be fine. I don't think anyone can know who the posts of the people saying Alphabay stole their money came from. It could be the usual phishing, or it could be competition from another market. Who knows?

Either way, anyone know a nice instant BTC exchange service?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The day that I listen to people who get scammed by a new market every other month and drop the market ive had over 75 flawless transactions on is the day I become another scammed idiot. Alpha Bay is only second to EIC and if they ever make the market multisig only they'll be better.

I use 0.0001 btc and my transactions still go through in less than 15

Kinda dipped your camel toe in the market pool huh?

You're a curious vendor op. Would figure a vendor would know how to cash out?

headscratch?

2FA and a long password won't protect you from the people actually holding your coin though.

I havent had problems, I deposited about $250 last night, and it came thru within an hour. I use Circle, but it is linked to your bank so you would need to tumble the coins. If you want something more anon then I would use LBC or bitquick

It looks like the issue with getting scammed is a very small percentage of people and these people didn't use 2fa. More likely they were phished, but could be caused by some other scam or just plain disregard for general DN security practices.

Yea I haven't had any problems with any withdrawls on AB. But uhh if you're looking to cash out BTC and your a vendor you must be a first time vendor? LBC can help you get them sold fast, although idk if they have a limit to the amount you can sell.
