True Story. Basically pack is processed and sent same day (yay) and is at the Origin Facility, waiting to be shipped across the country. A few days pass. Nothing. Just "In transit to destination". finally on the 4th day it appears. "Arrived at destination facility: [INSERT AMERICAN ISLAND TERRITORY HERE]". A brick fell out of my butt, I'm thinking they'll inspect the pack or some shit. A day passes. Then It's In Transit, 24 hours later arriving at a random annex in the middle of the country. NOWHERE near me. It moves and stalls for a few days until it's finally at my hub, then post office. I'm thinking, shit, i'm not gonna see this pack until the middle of the week!
Well, overnight I heard what sounded small hooves galloping on my rooftop. Then a thump, and a bellowing, jolly laugh. The hooves gallop again, I hear "HO HO HO!" and I'm like fuck I'm on too much shit I need to stop this shit, and fall asleep.
Next morning I find a pack in my chimney. I dust the soot off of it, wondering why my sugar cookies are gone.
nah seriously tho It did exactly the loop I described, except today I got the pack in the mail. USPS is totally insane pushing this mail! Props to the USPS crew reading this (I know you're there).
I had one go to Puerto Rico and back before. Unsettling but a ok.
