[GeneralQuestions] Why don't markets display prices in USD?

Every market I've seen lists "prices" in BTC. I know we are paying in BTC but it's way easier to compare prices on things and calculate totals with shipping etc if the prices were in USD (or whatever your selected currency was). The sites already show the live exchange rate, and I'm sure when vendors list products they list what USD price they want and it converts to Bitcoin on the fly. Why not just keep the prices shown in USD and the only conversion the site needs to do is show what your current Bitcoin balance is worth? It'd be way easier.

This is like an American that gets pissed when he goes on vacation abroad and asks "why doesn't anyone speak english". Good God OP, you're one step away from saying the sun and moon revolve around the Earth, revolving around you.

Bitcoin got my math skills up. My high school math teacher would be proud. I do it in my head, x*y where x = bitcoin price and y = price of product.

Your computer is really good at math. It is like a super calculator. 100 BTC says your OS has a calculator in it.

Go to settings or learn simple math.
