Retired Carder - AMA?

My normal account is /r/NightCarding but since that account is still restricted for being less than 6 hours old, Ill post it here:

Title says it all. I used to be a carder, but left to the business for reasons beyond me (Feel free to ask I guess lol).

I now work on a different account as a vendor, but have started this account with another current carder to start /r/NightCarding.

So ya, feel free to ask me anything.

I am creating this because reading all the previous fraudster AMA's on here, they are all still carding, (pieces of shit), or blatant liars.

Since I am already retired, I don't mind answering 100% honestly or straight up denying that I won't answer your question.

Ask away

Why not steal from the rich and give to the poor?

What was the best type of gig that you could succesfully run? I had my share of fraud in the past but it seems a lot of things only were short lived, always had to switch things around.

I never messed with carding goods or such though, mostly only online and mostly other fraud.

[1 Points] None:

Does the hustle mostly involve fraudulently purchased goods which are then fenced for cash, or using the cards to get cash advances?

whats the best make/model of a mSR (reader/writer) to get

[1 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

These always go the same way. the carder thinks he will come over as reasonable. then he will start to call people "my friend" the way psychos do when they start to lose their rag. By the end we will see what an empathy-free heartless dick he is as he departs, hurling abuse at us over his shoulder.

[1 Points] junkitactics:

what about check fraud ever do anything with that?

what was your biggest carded purchase?

Walk me through a (outdated/closed off) carding scheme, from acquisition of victim cards/info all the through until cash is in hand? I have always had a very difficult time conceptualizing how this may work (besides using stolen cards to order goods with high resale value to a drop that isn't linked to you, and then going to recover those goods surreptitiously). Please include the technical aspects (use of SOCKS5, etc.) and the social engineering aspects as well.

[1 Points] ShouldIFear:

What precautions would you suggest someone take to protect themselves from being victimized?

Any advice for victims for what steps to take to minimize damage?

I started carding a few months ago, but i just found this sub a week ago. What are items of high resale value that are easier to card? Electronics in general are such a hassle, and tend to not move quickly.
