About to buy BTC in person. How do I go about this?

So I've been ready to buy BTC for a while now but haven't found a reliable source until now.

I plan to meet with someone in person at a public place and 'acquire bitcoin'.

We both know how much money I plan on exchanging but I am unsure how to go about the transaction in person. I would appreciate it if someone could tell me what info I should have on me when I meet up with him (ex. my wallet ID and such).

Should I be bringing my laptop?

Just so that I don't look like a fucking noob when the transaction goes down... What do I need to know?

Make sure to bring a condom in your wallet.

Make sure that your real bills are above the counterfeit money.

Wear a dark hoodie, meet in a dimly lit parking complex, preferably basement level.

Slide the money across the ground in a briefcase.

He'll count it, then...

SIRENS BLARING

He'll put out a gun "freeze scum put your hands behind your head".

Four more cops will pop out of cars nearby, they'll all round on you; guns drawn, the lead detective will cuff you and pull you towards the now approaching police wagon.

"That'll teach you to buy personal quantities of drugs scumbag".

Bring a friend, a gun, a laptop, and some cash. Things will sort themselves out one way or another

Show up, say hi, order a coffee, confirm the details with him, then watch as he makes the deposit to your btc address. Wait for at least 1 confirmation before leaving. I would expect he'll want payment before actually sending the coin since that's not easily undone.

Obviously, you'll need to confirm the transaction before he walks away with your money, so yeah, bring something you can check your wallet with. Don't just let him show you on his device. Check it on your own. Once you're sure you've got the coin, shake his hand and go on your merry way. And next time you can both be a bit more relaxed about it.

Show up, meet and greet. Discuss the amount of BTC at current market value. (double check the #'s on your own device) let him count the money, wait for transfer and 1 confirmation on your device. Once its good to go, say thanks and smile away. You can use any wallet, so either a smartphone wallet (there are BTC apps that are wallets) or on your computer. he'll need the deposit address or QR code to scan (if he's transferring from his phone)

Fan out your money, hand it to him very obviously, he'll say "Here come the BTC machine!", then you guys high five and say " DRUGS!" and the BTC will be in your wallet in like 20 minutes.

Here's an "idiot-proof, ultra-safe Localbitcoins cash deal checklist" I wrote over in /r/DarkNetMarketsNoobs a while back:

Did that help you, buddy? Any questions - shoot.
