All signs point to UNENCRYPTED communications being used during the Paris terror attacks.

Then we must clamp down on all unencrypted forms of communication immediately, it is for your own safety. Everyone is hereby ordered to encrypt everything from now on, we must put an end to safe havens for criminals and terrorists who are exploiting this technology by communicating out in the open like that were it can be easily read and intercepted (or not).

I kept seeing that they were using an encrypted end to end message and group chat app, telegram...
[1 Points] doubledoseopimpin:
Of course. I mean they were planning on dying anyways so what would be the point of encrypting? If they wanted to stop the attacks before they happened they would have to monitor everybody's keystrokes in real time.
[1 Points] ElectronicChronic:
I mean yeah.. These guys use Twitter for communication, they obviously don't care too much about encryption.
[1 Points] Xerxero:
Even better. They won't to stop bitcoins to stop terrorist transfer money.
[1 Points] throwathrowanz:
Man there was actually an article in the paper where I am that was headlined "The pot smoking terrorist". That goes on about one of the attackers smoking weed all the time. It was like they were trying to make a link between weed and terrorism
[1 Points] EverGreenPLO:
I'm worried about the writing on the wall when the two points that are brought up over and over again in the media about these scumbags is that they are using encryption and bitcoin have been trumpeted over and over for everyone to hear and they brig are completely false
[0 Points] xetamine:
so why is the gov trying to ban encryption? they are just jealous of our dnm's!
[-1 Points] None:
And?
like someone said yesterday - oh no ISIS uses trucks, better ban them all to make us safe. ISIS driks water, we better stop!
