Yes. The problem with Macs is not in the hardware itself, but rather the nature of OS X in and of itself. As someone pointed out earlier today, OS X is not intended to be infallibly secure. It's intended to be pretty and "intuitive". Just like everything else Apple produces, OS X is revolutionary. I mean, if you consider shitty integrated security features revolutionary then I guess Jony Ive does indeed shit gold.

OS X is like the cute girl across the hall whose password is "password", while Linux is the kinda chubby, tech savvy girl one floor down and to the left. Windows is in between.

In short, all you really have to do is boot into Tails when you're doing any sort of DarkNet-related activity. If you don't mind the somewhat clunky interface, you could even modify your boot settings so that your comp will always boot into Tails by default.
