How often do amounts get mixed up?

I don't want to panic but recently I've recieved 2/3 packages (Same vendor, no FE, reliable reviews) and one was severley underweight (45g). The first order was for 2x25g and the second for 5g, I have recieved two 5gs and no weight to shift :(

I really hope I can work it out with the vendor but if not, should I start a resolution claim? I don't know if it will help but out of about 10 deliveries. I've now had 1 thats put me seriously out of pocket and another that got seized & now vendor is on vacation :/

Would appreciate any advice, or is it just a case of hope the vendor realizes he made a mistake?

Thanks.

Absolutely start a resolution claim! Right now! Don't give the vendor time to fix it before, filing a dispute just places the order in a hold type status. The vendor can make things right while it's in dispute and then you can mark the order as resolved and release the funds. A vendor who tries to get you to wait while they reship is most likely scamming you, waiting for it to auto-finalize.

Filing a dispute is NOT a black mark on the vendor, it's just asking for more time.

Sometimes vendors make honest mistakes, sending Order A to Customer B. Those types of situations are where a vendor's communication really stands out. Are you in contact with the vendor? I can't really parse out what you mean in the second paragraph of your post:

You've made 10 orders, of which 1 was seized and 1 was 45g short? How do you know it was seized? Is this the same vendor in both of those orders?

Shit happens every now and then to the best of us, but it sounds like that vendor is pretty far off from "the best of us" :( I've only had 2 packages out of several dozen that were underweight, and the vendors in both cases communicated promptly and offered more than fair resolutions. Hope you get your shit sorted, if it's been more than a couple days and you haven't heard back then it might be time to start the resolution process. If it's an escrow order, make sure to put it in resolution before it auto-finalizes at the 14 day mark.
