Overnight mail or standard shipping?

Anyone have insights into which is safer? Shipping something overnight/2 night or shipping something standard 5-7 days?

Anyone have any personal stories or anecdotes?

From a vending POV, Express creates possibilities of opening ourselves up. Most of the time, it requires someone going to the PO and shipping that way. Which also means SOMEONE'S fingerprints on it. You can do it from home but buying postage digitally anonymously hasn't been done yet. This means tracking is not an option as the 400 labels most vendors use for tracking won't work on an express package.

The AMA Postal Worker thread from SR1 forums states that from a shipping safety POV there was no extra scrutiny for an Express and might actually be better as it limits the amount of time a package is in transit (or available for inspection).
