Avoid Nucleus, so many holes in their system for vendor exit scamming.

Conversation with support after they new their vender exit scammed

[Customer] January 14 2015 04:09:41 I placed an order with OptimusPrime, never received it. Messaged vender and he said he would reship. Waited on reship.. Still nothing 2 weeks later.. He's not replying to my messages and now his account says banned? Can I get a refund on the order he never shipped

[Support] January 14 2015 12:32:19 Hi [customer], sorry for your bad experience. I am afraid we are not able to refund you anything :(

[Customer] January 15 2015 04:27:25 Sweet, you guys are aware he is a scammer. But won't do anything. Never using your website again

[Support] January 15 2015 11:14:30 Honestly, he was a good vendor for some time, but something was changed suddenly and he became a scammer. He was banned... What else we should do? Do you think you'll get refund anywhere else? Under what conditions?

[Support] January 15 2015 11:25:37 And you shouldn't use FE, if you're not willing to bear the risk... You'll get refund for FE nowhere.

[Customer] January 16 2015 04:10:10 So you're basically saying, I can build a vendor account.. Build up a small amount of trust from buyers. Exit scam the fuck out of everyone?

You guys don't hold vendor funds in escrow? Money in, money out. No-holds-barred?

I could make a vendor account, pretend to ship out 100,000 dollars of goods to buyers, after telling them to FE. Remove my coins from Nucleus, and you guys can't stop it?

I understood the risk to FE I know, to be honest I don't really give a fuck about it. it was like 20 bucks.. The issue I have, is how easy you make it for vendors to exit scam

There's a reason why you guys only have 400 drug listings compared to others 15,000 I'll make sure everyone adds this hole in your system to abuse it, and to the reasons why they should stick with other DNM's

I'll make sure I drain you guys at least 20 dollars worth of bad publicity in the clearnet and darknet forums

(By the way, I work for a billion dollar revenue a year eCommerce business... Telling the customer it's their fault they fucked up would get you fired at my job) Hint Hint,, the customer is always right, bite the bullet next time..

[I didn't say this part to him:] When our customer received an item with a blemish, we throw money at them even if it means we lose money. It puts a good taste in their mouth and they continue shopping with us. Our BBB rating is A+ and our revenue climbs every year in the millions.

Someone needs to find the parallels between clearnet eCommerce and darknet eCommerce.

It's not a flaw, When you FE You release the funds into the vendors account. It's his money to do with as he please. The only flaw here is you FE. If you wouldn't of The funds would still be in his account and you would of gotten a refund. Don't bitch about shit because you fuck up.

[4 Points] applesauceandcream:

Are you serious? This is all your fault for releasing the funds.

End of story.

I feel dumber for having read all the way through this conversation where everyone did a very good job explaining to OP that FEing is the very act that gives up your "buyer protection", only to have the OP not get it. If you don't want to get ripped off, NEVER FE. I understand why vendors require it for cashflow issues, and most established vendors value their reputation enough not to scam or selectively scam, but EVERY TIME YOU FE YOU ARE OPENING YOURSELF UP TO BEING SCAMMED. Even if the vendor isn't scamming, and gets caught or has to go on the run, you are still fucked out of your cash if you have already FE'd.

[2 Points] FuckNucleus:

For the record, I FE'd before I started seeing posts here about him scamming

[2 Points] D-N-M:

Their support is right, you won't get your FE back anywhere. You shouldn't FE. Escrow is for protection, FE gives up that protection.

Now the admins could give you some of their profit to make up for the scamming vendor (that was not thier fault) and the fact that you FE'd (not thier fault), but then what lesson would you learn that way?

About your method for exit scamming that you uncovered here; don't go trying to sell your guide yet. That's about boiler plate standard procedure exit scam right there. Could have happened anywhere.

[2 Points] badassmthrfkr:

You were OptimusPrime's customer, not Nucleus'. Markets make money off of vendors and from their view, buyers are not the customers; vendors are and buyers are the products.

[2 Points] 44444321321:

This guy works for a billion dollar eCommerce company. As what? A janitor?

[1 Points] FuckNucleus:

But it's like I said, why not create an account, build some trust, Like Optimusprime did. Then dip with all the money and not ship anything? I would have thought at the drawing board for any of these DNM's This would have been top on the list for vulnerabilities

[1 Points] FuckNucleus:

Like I said from the beginning, I don't give a fuck about FE and losing 20 bucks.. That's not the issue. I've spent $10,000 in the DNM's since SR1 I've received 100's of packages domestic, from overseas, never stopped at customs. Send to the same address. No issue, no grief with the vendor, except the Valium Roche 10 presses lately have been lackluster, but the venders make up for it. BMR, Pandora, SR1, SR2. Never had to dispute an order with a mod. But if you think it's okay for vendors to FE buyers, take their money instantly and dip... DNM's are going to crumble with out the help from LE. Mark My Words

Nucleus does have a fair number of scam vendors. Just really watch the escrow time because shit finalizes pretty fast. I was scammed there, too. Not for much money and the Vendor was removed. Kudos to the site owners for that. But most vendors there have little to no feedback, so just stay on top of it.
