when a vendor asks for 50% to release early, is it always a scam? has anyone did this and worked?

......What? if you FE 50%...you FE 50%. The % of scam depend of the vendor not the FE itself, ya know?

Escrow is the only way two anonymous parties can trade with any confidence. Its what we pay our 5% commission for.

The four cornerstones of the Silk Road model are:-

  1. TOR
  2. Bitcoin
  3. Escrow 4 Feedback

We are very proud to have never asked a customer to FE. Quite often, WE FE for the customer. It can be because they're waiting for bitcoins to turn up just before the post deadline, or because they're unsure of us.

"I'm posting it now. Try it, then pay us if you want to". NOBODY has ever ripped us off. Customers are much more trustworthy than vendors. Anyhow, when you click "buy" we can see your bitcoin in escrow. You've proved that you are good for the money. There is no perspex box drug escrow with a bag of weed in it, so why should you "go" first?

BBMC has never asked a customer to FE, and we never will. I was really angry last week when a customer FE'd without being asked "to show trust in you". DON'T BE SO STUPID. NEVER FE UNLESS THE VENDOR IS DOING YOU A SPECIAL FAVOUR AT YOUR REQUEST.

BBMC only ship within the UK, by express next-day delivery. No customs checks. We only have to wait 24 hours to be paid. We can wait.

If a market robs us, we only lose a day's escrow. Its worth it for everybody to have confidence to buy.

they theoretically could make lots of money off it if they made lots of sails before anyone figured it was a scam but i imagine the other 50% would be hard to walk away from. Especially with all the sales around 420 on a website when you have to leave feedback when you finalize (so if it is a scam u cant edit - some websites you can change that though). Hows the rest of the feedback, can you find any detailed reviews on this sub or a tor forum? the more research you do the less likely you will fall for it if it is a con
