BitMixer

Hi, Can anyone help please? I have bitcoins in my Electrum wallet and would like to mix them before I spend them. How do I send the coins to the mixer website? Where is the address on the site? I see the part where it asks for a forwarding address but not the address where I deposit my coins? And if someone was mixing them before using a "dark market" are they basically depositing their coins with the mixer and then asking them to forward the coins to this "dark markets" wallet/account? Or should the coins be taken back again to another wallet after mixing and then sent onto the "dark market"? Sorry, it's doing my head in! Thanks very much.

First, make sure the mixer you are selecting is valid and has no complaints. Search this forum. I'm not sure either way with BitMixer - too many mixers sound alike in name.

I've only used Helix and basically the way that works is like you thought - it forwards the coins to the market. With Helix Light, which is a simpler type of mixer but easy to use, in Helix LIght you enter your market's wallet address. You'll be given a new address from Helix that you'll use to send the coin from Electrum to. After some time (about an hour), the coin will appear in your DNM wallet - or whatever address you gave to Helix. I assume most mixers work about the same. I doubt they send to an intermediate wallet that you would then need to send to the market, unless that's how you want to do it.
