Growing up in NJ, as an Itallian-American, with relatives who live a lifestyle many movies are based on like The Godfather.
One, thing was always clear, there was the bosses, and then there were their distribution men, their mussel men, and their family core.
There was no question of who held power, it was the bosses. They held power because they had everything everyone wanted, but couldnt get from "regular" life. If you wanted to sell you asked them , and they gave the go ahead or not.
It seems to me that if I were a vendor, one of the big guys. I would call a meeting of the other families(sizable well known vendors), and any big named gangs, and establish a working agreement among them.
Perhaps you vendors of substantial note, BlueViking, HouseOfSpirit, CB2013, domesticmolly... ect.. should get together and make a market of vendors by vendors. You hold the power, the markets do not, they are your distribution guys.
Vendors if you got together with other like minded bosses, and created a market together, you would have solved several problems at once, while cutting out the middle man :)
Its a loose analogy, but I think you can see how it relates. And , like any boss, you guys have to be at least pissed that your flow has been interrupted, held in escrow, or just straight up lost. It would have to be in your best interest, to invest in a market that you guys control.
Step up and be bosses, and stop letting these market admins run your shit. LuciusVorenus - Its latin. Like Italians of olden days n shit
Tell us more about the mussel men.
