US customs letter

I got a love letter today from us customs over an estimated $500 worth of Xanax. I haven't ordered Xanax in over 6 months, and wasn't planning on it ever again... And the dollar amount was strange because I was ordering more than what they seized. Any thoughts on recourse?

Any thoughts on recourse?

burn the letter, lay low for a while, and maybe contact a lawyer just to have him on retainer in case you need him at some point. that's about all you can do in this situation.

Did you have a pack gone missing? As far as the dollar amount who knows what value they put to a pack. Maybe the vendor accidently sent you another order you wernt aware of. Also could be the vendor is scamming people and sent a fake letter to you by mistake? Just some thoughts man. Post that letter with any personal info blacked out if you can I bet someone hear will be able to figure it out.

I did have a pack go missing and that's what got me out of it entirely because I saw that as the universe telling me to chill. But that pack was 5 times the value of this one and I've only made a few orders since for a few grams of marijuana here and there.

Dollar amount prob doesn't mean much. What value would they use anyway? I remember seeing a list of seized shit someone posted a few months ago and there was Xanax with a $0 value. Maybe the $500 was what the shipper declared or claimed it was worth?
