Do DNM admins buy from their own market?

I'm crazy stoned so please forgive me if this whole thread sounds retarded. It was a thought that just came to me...

Do DNM admins do drugs themselves, do they buy it from their own market posing as a regular user, or buy from a rival market? I read that Ross bought fake ID's and made other purchases from SilkRoad.

Is it an OPSEC risk if they do? If the vendor is compromised, could they unwittingly have noted down the real identity of the market admin and not know it?

In your opinion how do you picture your average DNM admin in your mind? Just an ordinary guy living a balanced life who keeps what he does on the PC quiet, or someone heavily involved in organized crime? Is it possible one of the DNM's is run by a drug cartel? What if all of the markets were run by various LE departments each unaware of another agency's operation?

God I am high.

If a Mexican cartel can operate an entire private cellular network I'm sure setting up a DNM would be no issue for them... [CLEARNET LINK: http://www.npr.org/2011/12/09/143442365/mexico-busts-drug-cartels-private-phone-networks ]

Obviously some of them do. For opsec purposes, it's probably best that DNM admins live clean lives, but people don't always think about what's best for opsec.

I remember speaking with Heisenberg2.0 a few times on Atlantis about this exact topic.

They probably do buy because they have to get their drugs somewhere. I doubt they're cartels though, the cartels couldn't run a DNM.

If they do use drugs, they probably buy from their own market. Why pay vendor fees to someone else when you can to your own market?

I think most of the good market admins look like normal people. Ross looks normal, I think most others are probably the same.

The shitty markets are probably run by 16 year olds. But usually they don't get much business.

Most admins make alt accounts and buy from those.
