It's not like anyone actually used multisig anyway. Marketing ploy, trust builder, good guy approach, call it whatever you want.
I think the facade of a stable market that is always up, coupled with a really nice UI distracted enough people to not care about the origins of the market creators or take any time to learn multisig.
Fuck, people complain about using PGP, you expect them to use Bitcoin Core in console mode? The easy way always wins out, everyone gets robbed, and we are blessed with the drama that comes with that.

Amazing that the market that was advertised from the beginning to be safe from scams and it would not have mattered even if you would have been using multisig because it was flawed to favor the marketplace.

I don't know why but when I saw this post's title I thought the explanation could be an answer to my criticism to their fake implementation of multi-sig more than a year ago.
A year later I have been proven right. It feels nice to be right. But also, it feels wrong in this case. D:D
