Has anyone had something similar happen? Checked the search function to no resolve. Please re assure me. I really don't want to move to Belize....

If it was me, I'd just walk over to the neighbor's house and tell them to be expecting a package because you were an idiot and accidentally addressed it to them and would they please hold onto it until you get a chance to come grab it.

I got nothing in concrete for you but I had a vendor send a pack with my name misspelled and street name or zip code messed up (can't remember which) and it still showed up. I think all these situations vary though depending on the person who's delivering the package.

If you have a long history of receiving mail at that address to your name and the postman has been on that route for a while he should recognize the error. It's hard to say though. The smaller your community the better the odds that the postman will catch it. If you are in a major city and he's on a hectic route he might just deliver it to the address on the box. The post employees are generally pretty good about catching things like that though so I wouldn't worry too much.

If you ever find out this happened Ahead of time then you're probably going to be better off by sacrificing your plausible deniability and telling the mail man about it BEFORE it gets possibly RTS. Also talk to the neighbor at the address on the pack.

The worst possible scenario is an RTS, it will go back to someone, maybe a business owner, who won't like their address being used to ship drugs, and they could report it. There is an extremely small chance your pack was caught, but either you or the vendor fucked up, and that means now you have to assume some additional risk to mitigate the possibility of an RTS.

this is just what I would do. I see this situation as already pretty fucked and you are going to need to do an intervention one way or another to save it.

This happened to me once. It will go to the Address that the vendor put on there. Unless the mail man knows your name and the house you stay at - that's the only way it will show up on ur porch. Just go to the neighbors house and tell them a package is en route to their house. Shouldn't be a problem, since it's a felony for them to open it.

Alert package not delivered due to illegible or incorrect adress. Guessing call customer support and ask for a reship to the correct place? Thanks for all of your timely responses

Just stalk the mailman, run up, grab pack, and explain you "screwed up on EBay haha oops"
