Trezor vs. non-persistent Tails Electrum seed

Is there any advantage to buying a Trezor over keeping coin in a wallet made in Tails whose seed I have memorized or otherwise recorded? The only reason I could think of would be malware but typically transferring coin is a separate Tails session so the system should be clean each boot...in theory. Using the Trezor seems like it would have more linking back to me, I'd still have to tumble coin coming out of storage so it's not coming from a wallet I own, and if something happens to the Trezor I still need the seed. Is there something else I'm missing or should I just diversify and keep my eggs spread between baskets?

If you can remember the seed then by all means do that, I'd say the only advantage having the Trezor would be for speed. If even that

+1 for a trezor or Ledger.
