Drama by those not "in the know" :)

You can drive or fly down to Arkanasas, North Carolina...plenty of states, and buy everything that he supposedly had seized. I've bought Gaboons, Temples, Puffs, Kraits, all manner of pretties, in Arkansas, at shows, legally.

So, this all sounds like horseshit to me, at least in how it is being presented. I can make a call and buy 10 of everything he had, have it legally flown to my airport, pick it up and take it home.....Yet this guy gets nailed for having snakes smuggled in potato chip cans, that already exist in the US, in massive quantities?

he mentioned Virginia, which also is a state where you can buy venomous without a permit.

Maybe he was attempting to save money. That would make more sense than ranting about the matter in the way they have. California is a permit state. With a permit he would have to document the purchases and a King Cobra runs about 200-500, depending on age with premium vendors getting 500-1200.

The only time I have butted heads with FnG was over a Massassauga rattlesnake that was shipped as a "surprise" gift for a large order I made. I used a different shipping address than my physical address, the next state over. That state does not allow the transportation or possession of venomous.

Snakes in a can is a great joke! I thought it was supposed to be a peanut brittle can though.
