Grams, why dont you use a variable fee for helix? Static fee makes it trivial to trace tx through your mixer.

I sent 1btc through your mixer, one of many blockchain analysis companies sees 1btc go into your mixer, they know your fee is 2.5%, they know 0.975000 btc exactly will come out 45minutes to 6(or whatever your automated max is) later. If you let users specify the duration and delay instead of only allowing a randomly assigned delay this would increase anonymity.

And your multiple output option would increase this significantly but when i used it the outputs were all sent to at the same time at the end of the delay which is again trivial to see that they are part of the same transaction.

I dont get it, blender and fog have both shown that varying transaction time, outputs and fee % is the only real way to confuse an advanced observer, why do you have to offer an inferior service? Clean coins mean nothing if they can connect the dots.

edit: also to the ghost person who also commented on this thread, I can't see your comment and I'm pretty sure that means you are shadow banned.

when you don't use multiple outputs it automatically tacks on a small amount to change the out going amount. Helix light is supposed to be fast and easy and will get the job done. If you want the full version that is just like fog, you can use regular helix. It is the same price.

This issue has been raised/debated with /u/gramsadmin in the past, although I never recalled him properly addressing the issue with a proper solution. I thought this would have been 'fixed' by now, but as I don't use Helix at this time, since this issue is a big flaw of a tumbling/mixing service in my opinion, as you have correctly pointed out...

Good post!
