It's finally June 1st. RIP Blackbank

We all waited together. Now we can start the mourning process.

on the blackbank sub, mr doe was waiting for mdparity to speak up about wtf is going on, since he's been in stfu mode for nearly two weeks

it's not looking like an exit scam since the coins that weren't multisig'd are stuck and not being pumped to another address - though there's the possibility that they could be just waiting for the "mourning" to end so that they can extract the funds at some time to be determined (if so, mr doe is playing dumb real well)

rumor mill is suggesting that mdparity might be dead - posts he made hinted he had major health issues

Seriously though, this was the best exit scam of any other dark net market if measured by PR and drama minimization. Future exit scammers, take notes.

It's ok, Kanye is gonna be dropping his album soon...

keep checking dem wallets, if you still have the blockchain address(es). i bet in 1 to 3 months they'll be empty.

I'm done with all the escrow markets. With all due respect to Ross this model is doomed to fail on every market sooner or later. Are we just gonna sit around and wait for agora to exit scam until we change how we do things? I'm tired of losing fucking money, and I'm sure a lot of people here are. This (possibly accidental) exit scam should be the last straw.

I just have to say that I really liked BlackBank. Since it's inception, I loved the layout and color scheme. It had a majority of vendors that I fucked with and was very easy and reliable to use. The loss of the site whether exit scam or not really rustles my jimmies because just like Evolution, I really liked BlackBank!

Oh well...I just needed to vent that somewhere. DD is what I'm moving towards anyway. Soon our discussions will be about "Which e-mail provider are you using?" or "______@lelantos.org is exit scamming!!!111!!" or "JUST CAN'T TRUST THESE MARKETS!!!!!!!" and "Has ______ checked their e-mail today? Anybody know what time they are logging on to check their messages? HALP"

Oh such fun.

MrDoe is probably dead, I don't think it's an exit scam. I think something truly happened to him or her.

its an exit scam. withdraws were not working the day before blackbank went down. get over it people

Tf does it matter being June 1st lol am I missing something

[1 Points] throwawayahoeaway:

"It's finally June" ohhh?

[1 Points] None:

"Mourning" wasn't really that dear and near as with something like agora or evo...

[1 Points] footlockervip:

direct dealing works for me... if someone scams me, its their loss, which i guess is why it hasnt happened to me.

multisig doesnt encourage exit scamming, but you can still loose your btc.

so i kinda just hang around and creep, never posting much, been doing DNM thing for a long time now only even joined reddit just to post a couple things, and i've been scammed pretty much at least once on every DNM. Sometimes I got my money back, sometimes I didn't. total losses after around 5 years is about 500, thats everything from btc fluctuations to exit scams to temporary market outages etc, that being said the only true losses have come from exit scamming vendors. Before I move on to this tldr-ish I just want to point out that after a little time i just began to use my fucking brain after I realized there was something I could have / should have done/been doing all along to protect myself. I won't enumerate these, if you have a grasp on things you too know what they are. Vendors the same thing comes to markets, the only vendors that ever really COMPLAIN about exit scamming markets are LAZY vendors (slow shippers, no bankroll, all the reasons why people dont FE or you're shit doesn't get out to them fast enough to get your coins out of the market, or you don't have some OCD tweaker getting your coins off market wallets you CHOOSE to vend on KNOWING what can happen), the same type of customers that get scammed are LAZY clients. Srsly when was the last time anyone cared so much about someone in real life scamming someone else in real life, in person. So many years ago the first words of advice I was given when dealing with DNMs was not "NEVER FE" like some of you tards like to cultishly chant, but this, "just be cool with the fact once your money enters the darknet, you may never see it again, and there won't be anything you can do about it, so you have to be ok with pretty much lighting however much money you're planning on spending on a marketplace, on fire and kissing it goodbye."

that's the nature of the game, we know the rules winning teams and players win because they know the rules and they play on the same page from the same playbook. if you can't stay on the same page, this isn't a place suitable for you. period. Bye blackbank, you never scammed me. Bye SR1 you never scammed me. Bye SR2 you scammed me and paid me back thanks bro. Bye BMR you never scammed me, the list goes on.

You can play with the scammers and beat em at their own game. Who's knows if BB exit scammed or not, it seemed like the community was rooting for it like the newborn child of a family that just lost it's children in a local school bus crash that killed all the 5th graders...
