You talking about that subpoena back in March? Where'd you hear these rumors? I haven't heard much about it lately

The way it worked back in March right after the evo exit was that each account (gwern as well as NSWGreat, and a few other knuckleheads) was sent a PM from Reddit admins explaining they had received court ordered requests for user information which they would honor after so and so time frame. Gwern I believe, relayed these events to the rest of the mod team of r/dnm who were pretty damn transparent about all the action. What I am hoping you are NOT saying is the warnings are gone. I'll tell ya'll this place is a'changn. But my perception is skewed, I use reddit to be a weirdo in substance subs and of course porn. I like to slowly ramp up from OKC to tinder to r/nsfw type subs before I spend 4+ more hours cranking my wank to primo High Res vids. Then I post grade A comments like this and forget more reddit exists.

I assume you are referring to the subpoena on the sub which was handed out in March in the pathetic attempt to gain information on users who may have had Intel on Verto and Kimble after the Evolution exit scam, the thread by user /u/z-l is in the "Top" for all time on the sub if you want to read through that drama.

A subpoena was carried out on his account, also /u/Gwern and some other unrelated trolls.

Reddit by law had to hand over this information, but there was no gag order so they informed Gwern before the info was actually passed on.

What info can be released? And where'd you hear this?

Elaborate please.

Proof or reference would help here.

Reddit were very open about this when it happened in March. Are you talking newer than that?

Old news if not. Well documented.

Oh, like the people who use their real names and email addresses to make an account?

You are talking about the end of March with gwern and a few others who the feds thought they had insider knowledge even though they did not. It was 3 accounts I believe.
