Why is hash so much cheaper than weed?

Hash has higher cannabinoid content and costs more to cultivate than the buds of the cannabis plant, so why is hash so much cheaper on the DNMs? Is it just really low quality or is there a different reason?

Which hash are you referring to? Stuff pressed by the feet of arabs?

most hash in the uk (squidgy afghan/maroc/etc) it's just cheaper cause it's weaker or contains additives

if you're talking about solventless hash, prob because you can transport much more at once since it's an extract

That's a good question. Even in Dutch coffeshops the hash is comparatively cheaper than weed. It makes hash the superior choice, I even like the taste better.

I've always wondered the same thing, and I suspect a lot of the cheap, goo hash to be laced with very small amounts of cheap research chemicals. For example, you can get synthetic drugs (RCs), that have effects very similar to weed, for just a few bucks per gram, even pennies per gram if you buy kilograms at a time, then you can mix that gram into an ounce of "hash" (cheap weed and trim and whatnot ground up, steamed, and pressed). The threshold for many RCs is so low, that you can get really high on just a few mg, making it easy to lace in weed-containing products and sell them as "hash".

Just a theory, because a lot of the cheap, <$7/gram hash isn't as bad as I thought it would be, making me question how it can be cheaper than standard weed.

Peace.
