Misdelivery Concern

Ok so I ordered some drugs and had them sent to my address. I've formatted my address two different ways in the past and I've always received my mail without any problems (sometimes using the apartment number on address line 2 and sometimes using it at the end of address line 1.) I see now that it really should be used at the end of line 1, but like I said, I've seen it and used it both ways. Drugs were in transit for about a week and the vendor messaged me and told me the tracking said "undeliverable as addressed." This is a domestic US order. Would it be silly to call my local USPS and explain to them that I have a package that has been lost and explain to them that the sender must have formatted the address incorrectly? Would this lead to further questioning? i.e. name of the sender, where is the package coming from, etc. What do you guys think?

The answer for USPS (undelivered as addressed) means your package was placed in the wrong delivery truck route for your address. No need to go to post office it will be delivered to you the next day. USPS drivers are not allow to go into someone else's delivery route. Hope this eases your concern.

This is the first result on google if you search for 'undelivered as addressed'

Take it with a pinch of salt tho. If it doesn't arrive tomorrow i'd call in and provide the tracking number. Just ask them if there's a problem with the address.
