Prescription drugs with a high market price?

Inspired by the top post on the "We have a golden opportunity here, and most people are choking it away" thread.

The idea that one pill can go for so much is mind boggling to me.So the question really is,what drugs might it be worth looking into trying to get a prescription for the purpose of reselling?

I have suffered from mild depression in the past which I never medicated and very debilitating depression runs rampant in my family and my doctor is very much aware of all this. Are there any anti depressants which have high re-sell values?

Doesn't sound like you would be a viable candidate for opiates but Oxymorphone (Opana) can go for $3-4/mg, which makes it the holy grail of pills cost wise. Oxycodone IR is also very valuable.

Adderall and Vyvanse can be prescribed for depression, but it has to be the specific "no energy/can't get out of bed/can't focus" depression, otherwise they would just give you an SSRI like Paxil or Welbutrin that doesn't have recreational potential.

The easiest script to get that can sell for decent money is adderall. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to see more Vyvanse and Dexedrine on the markets as well. However, getting a script is not that easy, and you'll be started off on a low dose once a day script. After a few months you MIGHT be able to bullshit your doc into upping the dosage or doubling your script. But the ADHD meds are highly regulated.

There are no refills. You have to go to the doc every month. Unless you do mail order scripts, then you can go up to 3 months.

But if you look at it realistically, if you can get the max-dose Adderall script and sell ALL of it without taking any and sell them each at a price of say 15 bucks per 30mg pill, you're looking at:

15x60 per month: 900 bucks.

Minus doctor expenses, shipping costs, bulk buying price calculations, etc. Not to mention the fucking hassle.

You won't get pain meds easy so don't even try.

Depression pills don't sell cause they don't do jack shit as far as getting high goes.

Benzos are your 2nd best bet, but those are also not easy to get and they're cheap and don't offer much in terms of resale value.

Promethazine and codeine syrup. A single pint ($15 retail) can go for $200-500 street price.

I would say amphetamines (Adderall, Desoxyn, Vyvanse) and opiate pain medication.

Not many besides the typical benzo, but those are practically worth pennies these days on the DN. If you have an opportunity to be prescribed any opiate, they will have the highest turn around rate.

Speaking from experience: Adderall may be one of the easier ones, but the profits aren't as great as you might think.

As dawgiee also said, you've got:

My current listings for 30mg (on Nucleus) average at around $17.50-18 a pill and I'd say that's about 50% profit. That might sound like a lot, but look at it this way: it's maybe $4-500 a month for more work than you'd think (if you really take the time to get your OPSEC right), a chance you'll lose money at any time if your chosen DNM vanishes while you have orders shipped but not finalized, and mandatory jail time in many states if you get caught.

That said, I do it for 1) a bit of extra money, 2) because I work hard to manage the risks down to a minimum, and 3) because I genuinely get pleasure from satisfying my customers and exceeding their expectations.

My advice: make sure you have the time and knowledge to get those last two things right first, then weigh the risks against the potential profits.

(Sorry OP, I know that wasn't an answer to the question you actually asked, but the advice is transferable to what you're thinking about doing).

It can be very time consuming and less money than one may think. In the state I live in is in the south but not Florida, they was the best to get over prescribed opiates but now since they have followed suit to many other states way of keeping track of doctors, the scripts they write and what the patient gets, not just the one doctor but any (doctor shopping). This tracking is making it very hard to find doctors unless you already established and if you are, more likely you are nearly getting enough to keep your habit in check.

A lot of the pain clinics that are known for over writing etc are no insurance, cash only, with a extremely high price just for seeing the doctor, no promise of getting anything written, so again its not worth the $300-500 investment to only have the dr tell me now you gotta get x-rayed, pocked, drug tested to make sure you not abusing other meds (they also drug test you in the future if you do get prescribed anything to make sure you are taking it, thats right kinda nuts but thats why pills are so expensive imo. anybody else please chime in
