[Vendor Review] ChipChipperson - Skywalker OG

This review is the first of 3 I'll be doing for ChipChipperson, who was kind enough to send me a few samples. TLDR for friends with ADHD - good value bud. Chip's worth a look. Pic: http://anony.ws/image/Dydn

Comments:
As you can see from the above table, this review's a bit different in that these are free samples Chip sent me for review. Never done that before, so I'm doing my best to remain unbiased and treat this as if I actually purchased the products. That brings up the first point - price. I've listed the ounce price above, as that's probably the most commonly used quanity for comparing pricing, but Chip told me he sells this quality of product in the quantities/prices below:

Weight 3.5 7 14 28 112
Price $35 $65 $120 $220 $800

Moving on, rating any of the transaction categories is difficult, so some explanation is included in the table this time around. Depending on feedback I may continue to comment the overview tables in future reviews the same way, so let me know if it's helpful or just making my already long reviews too long. I don't think this is the perfect solution, so, as noted above, please remember that if I had rated the other categories his overall score would have been '85' if he got 9's and '89' if he got 10's.

More details regarding the actual product are below, but based on my interactions with Chip I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger if he had something listed that piqued my interest. I'm not usually a budget customer, but when compared with the ~$220 ounces I have purchased I'd say the pricing is appropriate, and if I were looking for a $200 oz. at this point I'd probably look at Chip and/or Cult Madeline's lower-end listings. I think you personal customers would likely receive much better customer service from a guy like Chip over some of the bigger operations selling at the same price point.I have a lot of respect for vendors who appropriately grade their products, so Chip gets big bonus points from me there. I'm looking forward to doing reviewing a true purchase from him in the not so distant future.

Strain Summary:

Strain Skywalker OG - https://www.leafly.com/hybrid/skywalker-og
Bud Size: Medium, compact/dense
Smell: The kush genetics are most prominent, with the pine scents dominating. Not super-loud, but nice.
Trim: Nice and tight.
Trichomes: Lightly covered with, what appear to be, mostly amber crystals (no USB microscope yet)
Seeds: None
Stems: Minimal
Smoked: As you'd expect at this price point (and from the pics), potency is a bit lacking. That's not to say there's not a punch - but while most top end stuff will give me a good enough buzz with a couple hits, I needed 4-5 from my hitter/bowl before I was set. Again, that's expected. The high is nice - mellows you out and higher doses certainly activate couch-lock. Good movie weed.
Vaped: I usually don't vape indica-dominant stuff, but I had a need for discreet consumption and had some of this guy ground up already. The pine taste I mentioned is quite prominent when vaping... not a lot of character or complexity to the taste. It took quite a few whip hits to get me to about a 6, but vaping rarely gets me beyond a 7 or 8, and my tolerence has gone up lately. Vaping, as expected, removes some of the sedative effects from the bud - it'd be a good one to vape with friends who may not want/need to get blasted to another world.
Other: I'll never get super excited about more budget-friendly buds, so the tone of this review isn't particularly enthusiastic. DOn't let that fool you - this stuff, to me, is fairly priced and I think most buyers would be happy with it. If you want better bud, keep an eye out for higher-priced indoor listings - as I mentioned, his product pricing/descriptions seem pretty accurate to me.

Additional Notes/Pictures:

Please let me know how this template is working for free samples - I feel like maybe a different template may be in order if I end up doing more of these. There are two more coming for Chip in the next couple days - one for this indoor Sour D, the other for his budget Sour D. Thanks for reading. :)

You're this sub's greatest, most informative reviewer. Am on the hunt for the best weed on the DNM's myself, so definitely keep 'em coming.

Just a tip- SeedFinder.eu will tell you a LOT more about a strain than Leafly. Besides that, they have separate pages for different breeders' versions of the same strain.

Pics on the way ASAP - upload keeps failing.

Pics are up.
