Why FIRST CLASS MAIL is SAFER than Priority or Express Mail

I am pasting this from my original post on the Agora Forum's (http://lacbzxobeprssrfx.onion/index.php/topic,11931.15.html) as even though I feel this info is a competitive advantage of mine, the information should be more wide-spread....

thanks for the time it took to do such a detailed review l0verboy! to show my appreciation I am going to share a small tip that does not seem to be widely-known knowledge....

You mentioned "if the package were to be opened they would obviously know it is drugs", and I completely agree with you. Here is why that does not concern me (as much)....

First Class Mail is the ONLY MAIL protected by the constitution. It CAN NOT be opened unless they have an actual search warrant to open the package.

Let that sink in, and obviously do your own research to verify what I've found to be true. So when I am packaging I judge the quality of my work by the smellproofing and also how it feels in my (gloved)hand, even the feel I don't think would be enough to get a warrant, but you know those fuckers, if they get a suspicion they'll run the fucking package over with a tractor and say "ooops looks like this one broke open". now would that stand up in court with tractor marks on the package? i highly doubt it, but again who knows.

They break the law to "defend the law", which is fucked, force us to play in there fucked up "cops & robbers" game and live under the policies of a fucked up system.

anyways, im going to stop myself as ill type on the shit forever, the point is I take my work very seriously, I research my shipping methods and related laws and always try to stay one step ahead of the man.

im not trying to say my methods are perfect, and im always open to suggestions and new data, my opinion is just that, my opinion.... and shit how many times do we change our own opinions? The important thing for me is keeping my eyes/ears open and being able to accept new information as a learning opportunity. Some things I read fly in the face of shit I believe, but instead of reacting and posting some flame, I analyze and check to see if my beliefs are accurate, or how I can utilize the new information and give my opinions/beliefs a "system upgrade"

getting off topic here.....

back to the main point, vendors like priority/express shipping as they get the funds quicker, buyers like faster shipping because they get there shit faster, but when you consider that the constitution protects your mail ONLY if it is mailed first class, the choice to ship first class was an easy one for me.

First Class Mail including Priority Mail and Express mail are sealed against Postal Inspection. Warrants are near impossible to get. The Postal Inspectors usually monitor delivery and give the person time to open it on their own before making entry on the suspect.

Other classes are NOT sealed against Postal inspection and may be opened to check that the contents are eligible for the rate being paid. Much like the case of Media Mail.

Your use of the class of mail is your consent to the possible inspection.

The FAQ on the USPS website is incomplete. Look at the actual federal law:

39 CFR 233.3 (c) (3) states:

Sealed mail is mail which under postal laws and regulations is included within a class of mail maintained by the Postal Service for the transmission of letters sealed against inspection. Sealed mail includes: First-Class Mail; Priority Mail; Express Mail; Express Mail International; Global Express Guaranteed items containing only documents; Priority Mail International flat-rate envelopes and small flat-rate boxes; International Priority Airmail, except M-bags; International Surface Air Lift, except M-bags; First-Class Mail International; Global Bulk Economy, except M-bags; certain Global Direct mail as specified by customer contract; and International Transit Mail.

A bit later in (g) (1):

No person in the Postal Service except those employed for that purpose in dead-mail offices, may open, or inspect the contents of, or permit the opening or inspection of sealed mail without a federal search warrant, even though it may contain criminal or otherwise nonmailable matter, or furnish evidence of the commission of a crime, or the violation of a postal statute.

USPS's website is not binding law; the Code of Federal Regulations is. No need to worry.

The "unsealed" services are bulk and junk mail services that most people don't even know exist, much less use for personal purposes.

i thought the search warrant thing applied to anything shipped via usps, which priorty and express both are right?

So considering OP is blatantly wrong, can we get a "Not very solid contribution" tag?

[3 Points] teepshow:

Did not know this, but a quick google search will verify what the OP said. It's posts like these that should be on the sidebar.

lucky for us, they published this law/rule or whatever you call it in a readable format and not some 33,666 page document...below is pasted from:https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/contactUs/faq.aspx

  1. Can Postal Inspectors open mail if they feel it may contain something illegal? First-Class letters and parcels are protected against search and seizure under the Fourth Amendment to the Constitution, and, as such, cannot be opened without a search warrant. If there is probable cause to believe the contents of a First-Class letter or parcel violate federal law, Postal Inspectors can obtain a search warrant to open the mailpiece. Other classes of mail do not contain private correspondence, and therefore may be opened without a warrant.

Thanks for the write up and all, some people in here need to realise though that American rules are not universal rules.

Assuming that everyone knows you are talking about the US I sometimes find kind of ignorant.

ANYWAY, as you were.

im new to reddit, its hard for me to understand 10 downvotes on what I consider an educational discussion that as long as the right answer is concluded on, helps us all.

I think I need to spend some more time on here to understand the downvote thing more, but a good discussion I see as an upside not a downfall.

im actually going to work now, was having fun researching, haha

This legal loophole doesn't exist in the UK. The temporary staff used by the Royal mail are always stealing from 1st class mail, or they dump it in a river and go home early.

All UK express mails are trackable, so the vendor can prove he's posted it and the customer has received it, and can use escrow. Express is very fast in the UK (post at 5PM, and its guaranteed to be delivered by 1PM the following day. It's also insured up to £500, so its never stolen.

I don't know about you, but when I order drugs off the internet, I want them yesterday.

We assume our customers are the same. Its nice being able to order at 3PM Thursday and have your order at lunch time on Friday.

Drugs are quite expensive items. They deserve more than a 1st class stamp (USA excepted, for the legal reasons stated in this thread).

I know a friend who works in a postal sorting warehouse and if any package is suspicious they usually open it and disregard the legislation protecting the package.

[1 Points] Le_nigger_pants:

But the dood at the counter said first class and priority mail are now the same. Da fuq

Are you BHOSale from CR?

It's kind of funny I have this uninvited "voice in my ear" saying "YOU FUCKED UP BY..." and I see all of these negative points for posts which side with the opinion of first class being the only protected mail. Then all these plus points for comments stating Priority is included as well....

I had to re-read the entire thread to make sure im not defending a point that is actually wrong, but nope, went through the whole thing...

Equally good evidence on both sides, but when you compare the references we tally:

First Class Mail Protected: United States Postal Inspector Priority Protection: USPS Plants & Plant Products, & Wikipedia

Anyways, you decide, but I promise if you read through the entirety of this thread, you will find hidden facts/signs that show major manipulation tactics being used to cover up the comments of us who are currently siding with first class mail as the only protected mail
