Found a great tax free way to cash out those coins

So I was doing some research after I saw a guy selling a silver bar on r/moneromarkets. Got me interested in diversifying my crypto-portfolio into real world assets. I found a pretty great clearnet site that trades gold, silver, and platinum for BTC. I'll link if people are interested, but a quick google search is all you need.

Think about it, You can sell that shit anywhere for quick cash. No ID required for some places. Also the price of gold is on the up and up. Don't fuck with silver for a while, it's gonna keep slipping on down for a minute.

Yeah, it's a good way to cash out if you don't have a bank account. But you get raped with the premiums. The seller sells to you at, say, 2.5% above the current market ask price and then you turn around and take it to a local gold buyer who is going to pay you 2.5-5% (or more) below the current melt value for the metal you bring them. Melt value is not the bid price for a given metal, it's even less than bid price - so in reality, you could easily still be losing 10% or more just like you would by going through normal cashout channels. The only way to make it worthwhile would be to hold onto your gold until the price has a chance to rise significantly after making your purchase.
