Clearnet Wallets no longer safe to use through Tor, thousands of btc stolen.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/search?q=blockchain.info&sort=new&restrict_sr=on

Blockchain.info is currently being targeted by malicious exits who do a MiTM to strip SSL (HTTPS to HTTP) then steal login data. In addition as you can see cloudflare is opening fire on Tor users and essentially cutting off access to clearnet unless users allow cloudflare to track them and MiTM their connections. Using cleanet wallets through Tor is no longer safe.

This is if you need a webwallet for temporary transfer of small amounts, coinkite is the only wallet that has put up an onion which isnt subject to Tor exit attacks or cloudflare. If you need to store coin be advised to use a local wallet like electrum or armory.

Thanks... Well, dang that's no good.. Even 30+ generated passwords are not even slowing them down.

So what about localbitcoins wallet? I have been lazy and go straight from LCB to agora. Looks like my laziness may have saved me some coin because before I always transferred through block gain and a tumbler.

Is electrum good?

Manually typing out

https://blockchain.info

should resolve the issue. Just make sure you include the s!
