Lover Letter Questions

Edit: The Vendor has issued a refund and I have removed his name. The LL sucks, but I appreciate that the vendor made it right.

I recieved a 'sorry we missed you' card - the "Sender" is USPIS (Googled - it's United Status Postal Inspection Services) and the item is a "letter" not a parcel. So I'm thinking I have a love letter waiting for me.

  1. Are there any benefits to getting the letter? Are there any benefits to not getting the letter? The way I see it, I'm on a list no matter what so I might as well get it. I do want to know what it says. (Edit: I found that they may send two letters - one certified and one not. Can anybody confirm?)

  2. I don't want the vendor to reship. What is a typical resolution in this case? Is asking for a full refund unreasonable or do I meet them in the middle and only ask for half? Do I just chaulk it up to a loss? The transaction was FE and shipped domestically. I have yet to message the vendor.

  3. I'm completely new to this and the love letter is from my very first order ever on a DNM (ounce of weed). While I mostly followed the bible to a T, one thing I DIDN'T do was order one package at a time. But the crazy part is that in addition to the 'sorry we missed you' card, I did in fact recieve my other order on the same day (8ball of coke from Alpha). This makes me think that I can still use my address, though I realize I'll be pushing my luck if I do. I have a squeaky clean record and most people wouldn't take me for a drug user, so I think it would tough to build a case on me. Sure, if they raid my house they'll find my pipe, bong and other paraphernailia, but could they get a warrant to raid based purely on a sent package? I think they'd need something more, but not sure. Thoughts? Comments?

  4. Has anybody recieved MORE than one love letter to the same address?

The refund/reship policy is on each vendor's page. if there isn't one then it's up to the mod what to do.

Well, it's confirmed that they send one certified and one not - I recieved the non certified letter. I thought it would have been more threatening, but it's still very serious none the less. I've typed it up for the curious:

I would not reply or ask for the letter. If you are contacted, deny ordering anything or having any knowledge of said package. Dispute the order, and request a refund. I would make it clear that you do not want a reship. Your address is burnt. CLEAN HOUSE RIGHT NOW!
