What do you tell people about where you get your drugs if you're sharing something that's usually hard to find/unusual in your area?

With my maybe three extremely close friends it doesn't really matter to me but often if we're doing drugs it's in a larger group with people I know, but not as well. None of these acquaintance type people are familiar with the darknet really and as far as I know none use it. All are fine with common party drugs in general, and it's not that difficult to get stuff like weed, mdma, and coke in my area.

Anyway I felt like doing some ketamine the other night and offered a bump to anyone that wanted it. Everyone knew the general effects, etc., just felt weird about it. Also asked where the fuck I found it.

Uh at the time I just said something weirdly specific and completely made up about a guy that I met at a music festival abroad, who gave me an apple when I was dehydrated and hungry at the same time and didn't know how to solve that problem, and then I thought the idea of eating an apple in this situation was so brilliant that we became fast friends...and then I stared out into the distance trying to look higher than I was so the conversation would shift away from me (I was actually pretty high at the time so I'm sure I looked kind of insane).

I don't want to broadcast my buying drugs online to people I don't know really well, but that approach was very awkward and led to several people thinking I was incredibly out of it that entire night...and I felt like I had to keep it up so I just acted incredibly high all night...although I was a bit...

Anyway that was an unsuccessful way to handle that situation, what has worked for you?

Well, it's none of their business in the first place. I understand they are your friends but just say you know a guy, loose lips sink ships.

Raised eyebrow and a wink is usually better than handing someone a fair chunk of opsec and the power to put you away for a few years.

[3 Points] RobotTits:

"I got friends in low places"

[3 Points] superspyder:

"Don't you worry about where I got it. And if somebody asks YOU who you got it from, you gonna tell them the same fucking thing...

You know that wasn't free, right? Ziiiip. Plop. And this dick ain't gonna just suck itself."

From how you described yourself, you might want to practice in front of a mirror a few times.

Silence. That's worked always.

none of your business

or

you don't know him

or

from the internet (just make sure to let it sound like a joke or sarcastic)

[2 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

If you are sharig drugs with somebody, they do drugs.

just tell them which website and vendor. its not as if hundreds of thousands of customers know about darknet markets, but no police do.

[2 Points] lojaktaliaferro:

"None of your fucking business" is the appropriate response to a question this cop-like from somebody you don't know well. Are they likely to be cops - probably not but you never know. What you really need to worry about is the "leak" that's going to happen from there. Take any 5 randos who do drugs and one of them is going to be the guy that talks all the fucking time and is guaranteed to start talking about this guy he knows who buys drugs from the internet.

It's only a matter of time before you become a focus of leo at that point because they love low hanging fruit like that.

Some guy named Dread Pirate Roberts is all I know. But don't ever mention his name to anybody.

A good homie, plus it seems in this particular situation the people involved are on a more limited scale of drug experimentation. Keep to yourself is what I would suggest, I know that feeling that can be so hard to contain. It's a good feeling if you keep containing to yourself. In a situation where I tried introducing my favorite choice of drug; (Amphetamine sulfate), to a few meth heads that I talk to from our local town. I was the "weird" one, but when asked where it came from, I simply say science with a large smile. They haven't tried it, meth is their thing I suppose. Anywho, just keep to yourself niggah.

I just use the 'an old friend from dead tour/college/grad school/internship' cover story. No ones business where I get my shit.

[1 Points] 5moked:

Just tell them straight - Dark Net Markets but watch out for Feds and Pedos. Everyone I've told this to has also had a warning about being anonymous. A few have asked me to get it for them and I've refused solely because I'm not (and will never be) a drug dealer.

You're friends with gypsies.

"Someone from my home town" if I don't know them that well or "I import this shit from Europe" if I want to impress someone
