Why is Bitcoin Fog not under the Active Warning List? Just had BTC stolen.

Just had my BTC stolen by Bitcoin Fog last night. Made a deposit and 50+ confirmations later the money still isnt in my account. Support is not responding.

I've used them for nearly a year, very smoothly with no issues, so I didn't see it coming till I came here and went to the market list and saw the warning. You should add it to the sidebar, I probably wouldn't have lost my money :(

Update

50+ confirmations. Will keep you posted as to what happens with this

Update 2

100+ confirmations. Holding out hope that my deposit is drastically delayed.

Update 3

250+ confirmations :))))))))))))))))))))))))

Update 4 - 9/30/15 4:30PM PST

From the Bitcoin Fog homepage

News:

We know there has been some delays lately in the payments, we are very sorry for the inconvenience, we are currently working on resolving the problem.

We will see if this covers me.

Update 5 - 10/1/15 12:00 PM PST

Late last night my money actually appeared in my Fog account. When I tried to withdraw, the withdraw never started/commenced so I canceled it and now my account is showing a balance of 0.

So at this point it appears that there are major delay issues with Fog's service with not only deposits, but withdraws as well. Hoping the money from my cancelled withdraw will return to my account.

Update 6 - 10/1/15 4:40 PM PST

Money is in my account. Will be waiting to withdraw.

Update 7 - 10/2/15 7:50 AM PST

Put Fog withdraw in motion last night and still not in my wallet. Checked Fog withdraw page and it says the withdraw completed 7+ hours ago. Perhaps the trend of long delay will continue, perhaps my money is gone. Who knows

Update 8 - 10/2/15 1:04 PM PST - CONCLUSION

I have received the withdrawal in my wallet after a long delay.

Is Bitcoin Fog selectively scamming people? It is hard to say. There are claims.

I believe this has just been an issue with delays, in which case it may be time for Bitcoin Fog owners to upgrade their servers to accommodate a faster transaction process. Would save their reputation.

Mods get a cut of the scam, duh.

If I were running a scam site, you bet your ass I'd contact those in control of information that could help/harm my profits... E.g., mods.

It's Tuesday motherfuckers, and I'm covered in foil.

[4 Points] Dicksmith47:

At this point it's honestly your fault. Searching bitcoin fog on this subreddit will show you plenty of incidents of them scamming

[3 Points] tailsjoin:

Even a year ago bitcoinfog had plenty of scam reports all over the internet. This is not new, it just happened to a mod so now everyone cares. lol

I barrelroll not tumble. Good luck doing a taint analysis through various cryptocurrencies and exchanges. Any errors that are made are my fault which have so far been zero.

[1 Points] unrealitycheck654321:

Why even use a tumbler? Isn't it enough to just send BTC to an exchange that doesn't require Identity verification (okcoin) then transfer to DNM?

[1 Points] xcatladyx:

FUCK. so i used this before and it worked just fine...but last night i made a deposit and it is not showing up. so i am fucked? -_- what service SHOULD i use to tumble?

[1 Points] None:

I feel your pain. Never had a problem.. Today is my lucky day to get screwed.

[1 Points] J0NJ0NES:

Can you see now how you jumped the gun? Can you see now why it's important for this community to beat back these "the sky is falling" type posts?

[1 Points] xBadBarbie:

Are there any trustworthy sites anymore??? I've been using Bitcoinfog for years with seemlesy successful transactions. I thought it was a safe site until yesterday when they took all my bitcoins down to the last cent! The greedy mothfuckers didn't even leave me one penny. I just deposited my money into my "secure" adress and 24hrs later I saw an unauthorized withdrawal was made by them for all my money! Isn't there something we can do???

Active Warnings

This is for ongoing issues, not constant ones. If you had checked the wiki at least once you'd see plenty of warnings. We get these threads from users asking us to do something about it and our answer is always the same: it's an active warning list, and do your damn research.
