If anyone could recommend any high quality drug/darknet/black market documentaries that would be fantastic. I'm not talking about any vice/drugs inc type of shit, or any of those typical stoner docs but rather informative well directed documentaries.
Some examples which come to mind:
Alex Gibney - Dark Web He's a great filmmaker has an interesting take on the Silkroad DPR story
Alex Gibney - Zero Days Scary stuff, higlights the next war will not be fought in the skies or with bombs but rather online
Cocaine Cowbodys I didn't know much about the early cocaine trade was interesting.
Smash & Grab This is one of my favorites, closest thing to Oceans 11
Sour Grapes Based on the fine and rare wine industry and how a counterfeiter defrauded top auction houses for tens of millions of dollars.
How to Make Money Selling Drugs interestingly shot, about the whole legislation debate. But yes I get it, legalize them already. Had some big names, Woody Harelson, Eminem, Russel Simons.
Narcos Though not a doc but it's Narcos, nothing more to add.
Its only available in Russian but we did a tour of the alphabay HQ employee lounge for a local media outlet for a documentary on best employee lounges. My favorite part was when the camera carrier attempted to lean on the table but the table was made of cocaine and it crumbled.
