I guess that's the one that makes the most sense?....
Taking a pretest for a computer research class, when suddenly this appears....

Tbh none of the answers seem accurate but it's either A or D

This test is fucking bogus
[2 Points] Theeconomist1:
D is the best fit answer. The deep web does consist of searchable databases - it's just not easily indexed with current search engine technologies like google. Also could be hidden by firewalls as well and definitely includes password protected sites. Like another poster mentioned - deep web != dark web.
[1 Points] procowtipper:
Hmmmm... could be A too I guess? That's why we need links for shit maybe?
[1 Points] Big_Daddy_Trucknutz:
TOR isn't a firewall and the deep web isn't searchable.

I hope you email the instructor and point out that none of these answers are right. I've done that with similarly stupid test questions, and the instructor gave me credit even if my answer was initially marked wrong. Just make sure you're polite in your email, not like "how could you be so stupid!"
[1 Points] J603:
D is the closest, but calling the deep web "searchable" databases is kind of the opposite of what they are, which are websites that can't be found through searching.
Also like others have said the darknet is not the same thing as the deepweb. Deep web sites are mostly legal and used by pretty much every major business and government organization. They're just sites that are inaccessible to the average person.

Worst test question ever
[1 Points] drimilr:
My java 2 at community college was an online course. The instructor took (stole) his final from some other source online (another school if I remember). Somehow I still got one question wrong, but that was the quickest final I'd ever completed a final.
That same instructor taught c++ 1 & 2 and those were crushers of classes (no pun intended). His java classes were a joke though. It's like he gave up teaching and just used all the online course crap from pearson.
Edit: many words wrong so post made no sense. am not high. English is my first language.
all the answers seem wrong. It's simply the part of the internet that can only be reached via link and NOT included in search engine queries, no firewalls, ...password protected sites (uh duh).
High school education: sex ed taught by PE teacher, computer science taught by literature teacher, and SCIENCE-well it just depends on what fucking state you live in.
What a joke.
