Package didn't arrive, not sure if vendor scammed, or it's mega late, or it was seized and I shouldn't order ever again. Thoughts/advice?

hi fellow reluctant criminals. I ordered from a seller on AB and he marked it as shipped around 2 weeks ago. After about a week I messaged him because I hadn't gotten it and the shipping said 5 days max. He said he was sorry, that he shipped it late, that it should arrive by midweek. That has come and gone, and time was running low, so I entered a dispute. I emailed him about a day before that, with no response.

That's not really what my question is about though. I've read his reviews here and while half of them say he's a dirty scammer, the other half say he's simply really shitty with shipping and they got their package, albeit weeks late.

So it seems like there are 3 options. 1, he scammed me, 2, it's atually in the mail, but even later than his corrected ship target, or 3, it got seized by the USPS.

I haven't gotten a love letter or anything, but what are the chances of that? Do they ever just seize something and hold it without doing anything else, but with the plan to go after you if you get anything else?

My question is basically, would it be foolish to buy from another seller?

Just sounds like a shitty vendor to me and you should have known better by researching the vendor prior to ordering.

Almost certainly not shipped in this case. That's a shitty vendor record TBH. Half reviews bitchinf about bad delivery is atrocious. Make sure you dispute the order before the escrow clock runs out if you haven't received it. Ask Vendor for tracking. But it's almost likely this is the vendor and not a problem with a seizure.

To answer your other question - yes they can seize and you may never hear a word. Or it could be months down the road. All depends what and how much you ordered. But I don't think this is the problem in this case

Normally I say to resolve any rogue packs before ordering to the same drop. I guess if you wanted to be 100% safe you can do that. But I wouldn't be worried about making another order given want you said as this sounds entirely a vendor issue.
