Can we PLEASE start using multisig

After Nuc exit scammed a lot of people started to talk about multisig, Blackbank was supposed to be the marketplace that made use of multisig widespread. Then of course they went dark, idk if their multisig saved people from losing btc because I didn't use BB (agora fanatic here) but iirc people who knew how multisig worked did get their btc.

Idk how many marketplaces exit scammed between nuke and oasis, but it was too many. Oasis had multisig and I guess nobody was using it. We need to start using multisig, vendors need to learn how to use it and make it mandatory especially on large orders. Hansa has an easy multisig and also a 2 of 3 multisig which I think is the one that should be used, DHL also has multisig but I've never used it although I assume it works fine. Even AB has multisig.

So people, learn to use multisig, and vendors make it mandatory. I know losing money must suck but if you aren't using multisig when the option to do so is right in front of you...well

What is this?

I was. :)

For the last month I even stopped accepting escrow orders all together and only accepted multisig orders.

So when they exit scammed I was able to complete my open orders (accept for 1 escrow order that was still open).

And I didn't even had to contact my customers because they contacted me. :D

So I am very happy with it and I can certainly recommend it. :)

And once you invest a few minutes of your time in it you will notice its not as difficult to use as many people think. :)

I don't understand why people are so concerned about this though, to be honest. People who use multisig will have better protection against scams and that's a fact. All you can do is protect yourself--no amount of complaining or ranting will get people to use multisig.

If you want to cater to most DNM users, make a simple tutorial. Though, IMO most people do not use the DNMs enough to need multisig and therefore no amount of "use multisig" will make a reasonable dent in market escrow amounts. People will always be lazy.

Hansa multisig is so easy it is absurd to not protect yourself with it.

My operation plans on migrating to only multisig orders within a few months.

EIC had multisig and had no probs running off with everyone's cash. What makes it different this time?

I don't understand how multisig works. Where can I learn about it?

From what I notice, vendors are far more likely to require FE on large orders.

This is just what Ive noticed, it could also depend on what everyone considers a 'large' order

[1 Points] DaRealDonaldTrump:

Ive honestly only done 1 multisig order.

I ended up not getting a address to send my BTC to. IDK if I did anything wrong. It just said "generating address, wait could be several minutes." (this may not be exactly what it said, it was a few months ago.)

I waited several minutes, then several hours. I looked for a way to cancel the order, the vendor ended up canceling the next day. Then I placed a regular escrow order.

Can we please switch over to exclusively direct deals for everyone that isn't a new vendor? Escrow is only there to build a reputation, after a while, it hurts your vendor more than it helps you.
