Bitcoin fees

I have my fees set high, at least I feel it is high. My fee on a transaction under $100 is set at 0.0024 and after 2 hours still no transaction. Thats like $15. Did the no fork decision really screw it up this bad? Is that a high enough fee?

Yes. It was basically the last hope for on chain scaling on Bitcoin . Now Bitcoin is all about "store of value" but it's not actually useful to buy stuff.

You should probably use Monero anyway.

Just made a post about this check my history. I've had coins stuck since Saturday morning with a high fee. It's fucked.

yes. segwit bitcoin is fucked, at least as far as being useable for purchasing low value items.

this happened to me last week. I used http://confirmtx.com and my transaction was confirmed in 1 hour and 15 minutes.

I've been waiting on a transaction (deposit into dream) for like 24 hours now...

edit: With a $15 fee, mind you.

edit 2: the coins finally came through.

It looks like fees are still currently very high. The necessary fee will depend on how large your transaction is.

Just used an accelerator to move over $300- spent an extra $15 bucks and it was in my DNM wallet in 60 seconds... WOW!

Okay listen, no offense to you at all OP, but this is one of those posts that are not necessary here. There are a ton of BTC subreddits, and it really isn't that hard to use google, there are a lot of websites that show you live average times of completed transactions and how long it took to confirm them.

Again, no hate, OP but this sub has become less than 30% vendor reviews or readable information

Edit: I had a transaction confirmed 29 minutes after it was initiated, 4 confirmations took about 70 minutes. Approx. $200 with a fee of $16

Bitcoin Cash community spam the network. Flooding it with large amount of small transaction at same time pumping bcash price on South Korean exchanges that offer a weekend deal of 0 transaction fees. This cause weak hands to also sell their btc. It was a plan attack on Bitcoin and it's brand. Sadly, this affect us the most.
