On the original Silk Road there used to be a page, possibly in the about/FAQ or something like that which outlines the reasons for the site existing but also a kind of mantra about the believes of fundamental rights of citizens which I presume DPR held as his own. Things like:
Right to freedom of expression.
Right to privacy.
Right to safety and security
Etc.... I am wondering if someone can point me to a copy of this?
I remember seeing a similar page on SR2 as well. I would dig around the old /r/silkroad thread, there may be screen captures or it may be buried somewhere in a post or wiki. I'm pretty sure Ross has published his Libertarian beliefs online too if you're looking for a more indepth read about his philosophy.
Edit: here's a tid bit I just found online which came from his LinkedIn Profile -
"The most widespread and systemic use of force is amongst institutions and governments, so this is my current point of effort. The best way to change a government is to change the minds of the governed, however. To that end, I am creating an economic simulation to give people a first-hand experience of what it would be like to live in a world without the systemic use of force."
