Why do People Finalize Early Without Needing Too?

It's one of the best features of the darknet. Buying drugs on the internet inherently screams scam when you first hear about it. But, with escrow it's setup in a way that you either get your money back or the seller doesn't receive payment until the deal is done. So why would you say spend $100 on weed and then give some random stranger on the internet your money before receinving anything? Alot of people seem to place a lot of trust in people that haven't nescessarily done anything to deserve it.

A lot of FE happens when buyers are regular, repeat customers of the same vendor. If you ordered the same product from the same vendor without issue like every other week wouldn't you consider FE on order number 10, or maybe 20?

Cuz vendors love it, and I need my shit.

Like others have said, FE doesn't always happen with vendors that are new or complete strangers. When we were vending many people FE'd and we greatly appreciated it. Surprisingly a good portion were new customers that just went by our excellent feedback but mainly those who were repeat buyers did it. We would always try to reward those who FE'd or had enough trust to DD by offering lower prices or extra product since we could cash out sooner/avoid market fees. Some people even sent stories of chronic pain conditions/addiction so we would send extra product to help them out. Were those stories true? Only they know but knowing the pain of crippling disabilities and addiction it felt right to do so.

A lot of vendors ask that you FE early because they’re worried about market exit scams

I wouldn’t ever FE before I received the product but that’s the best explanation I’ve gotten

In most cases it's becasue they've been working with us for a while and realize that we need to cash out and turn the BTC into USD to continue operating and they don't want us to get shafted if the coin takes a dive. Also, we remember who FE's and appreciate it, it's one less step that we need to take (the whole escrow and signing transactions thing is a pain in the ass!) so we appreciate the time savings.

Bottom line, if you trust your vendor then FE is no different than giving your buddy cash to run across town for a pickup. In both cases you're only real risk is that I (or your buddy) gets hit by a car and dies on the way.

Anyhowz, y'all stay safe and have a great day! GPJ

I agree escrow is a godsend BUT FE actually helps the trusted vendors. Vendors that are huge, well known, and trustworthy are exactly that based on reputation. They won’t scam (hopefully) so they don’t lose their rep. FE (and FE listings) counteract market scams.

Because they're morons. There's a lot of people who are just really naive and over their heads in all this. I don't care if you've sent me 500 packages at lightning speed, unless you're wanting to link up in person and I know where to find you, I'll never FE.

[1 Points] Intergalactic_Reborn:

I love the escrow system, but with the recent marketplace craziness, nobody including customers trusts the Marketplaces with their bitcoins. That's as simple as it gets, so now you have an FE of sorts with vendors who set up their own onions. Can't say it's the future of the DNMs, but it's an offshoot from the chaos that occurs from exit scams.

[1 Points] DNM_FuckFace:

Some people really trust or develop relationships with vendors and want them to receive their funds asap in case of a market exit.

it's design to scam you. never FE
