Will Defcon (Blake) get the same sentence?

Will Blake get the same sentence (life) as Ross?

Probably not. Cooperated immediately, nothing to do with hits that we know of, SR2 didn't last as long, etc.

[10 Points] shoelace120:

Doubtful. I think the murder for hire really struck a cord with the judge. Obviously Ross was going to be an example regardless, but ordering the murders of 6 people goes a long way to making you look like a typical drug dealer as far as the judge is considered.

He became a snitch so I doubt he would get a lot of time.

punished from using tesla no soda, no candy, no cable tv grounded for few more week. has to do 1 extra chore every week like , clean the toilet. clean the room, mow the lawn

Blake strikes me as the type who will take a plea to avoid life.

[2 Points] None:

No Ross was made example of But you'll never stop a worldwide revolution on drug policy. The years of the War on Drugs has already proven this. People will always use drugs and no matter what the US government tries to do they will never stop them from getting them. Prohibition will never work and that's been proven .

[2 Points] Modziw:

What will Blake/Defcon have thats of "snitchable" value? What kind of cooperation can he possibly give? /u/gwern might have some idea? Who/how will he inform/rat on? The vendors are no longer on his "ship". What's he going to do, just snitch on Clu? And Clu will snitch on him back? That pussy Defcon has 0 actionable cooperative value.. so I'm not even sure what he might have to offer.

Lol Defcon's been a fucking Ghost

[1 Points] lickcunt2:

probably not because they already set an example with ross so its kinda not fair to punish DeFag as much he didnt get a chance to see unfortunately it looks like the end of days for the markets noone would be stupid enough to operate a darknet market now after seeing what will happen to you

Would be funny if he had to pay the government a large sum like DPR has to.

[1 Points] auto587643:

Possibly, but not likely. You have to consider their different histories and personalities to get a broader picture:

DPR was head of SR1 for the longest time and made much more of a name for himself. His attempted hits on those other guys really made him look bad. However, despite his litany of crimes, he was at least something of an idealist, however flawed. His fame and lust for media attention made him on par with John Gotti, who got the same fate. LE doesn't like people like that at all.

Defcon is no such idealist and does not garner the same respect from me personally. He was annoying and an obvious fail imitation of the spirit of DPR. I still believe he and his top mods were responsible for the SR2 "hack" in Febuary 2014 that lost the site's escrow funds. However, he did not last long enough and was not popular enough to elicit the same media attention as DPR. He was no Gotti. He also did not show the same resilience as DPR upon being arrested. There's a larger chance of Defcon getting a lesser sentence than DPR in my opinion.

except that Ross was made an example for the rest to come, he was charged for hiring people to murder... This is a whole new level than just being a DNM owner.. But i have to say it's sad to see Ross getting a life sentence when other bigger criminals (like CEOs, Banksters, etc) created a global financial meltdown and walked away with millions..

I have same questions. I recall on here several months ago people sharing his facebook pictures and talking about him getting married.

So did he suck hind tit? Or was it the lack of a Forrest?
