Why AB so much more popular than HANSA

I bought on SR and SR2 so I have been around dnm for a while then I stopped for 2 years. Now I'm back can you tell me why AB is the main player? I love HANSA as a market but wish it had more vendors and selection. What is ABs secret?

Hansa is the truth.

cause alphabay has been up for a whole extra year, giving alpha that headstart to build up there user base. they have nothing else on hansa other then that.

Idk after the whole Evo thing I just don't understand why so many people flocked to AB. Actually, originally after Evo, Agora was the main dog and Nucleus and AB were right behind them. Then there was that whole Nucleus hack and people lost faith in the site and when Agora went away AB was seemingly automatically next in line to take the throne as the top market. I still don't understand tho why people would pick another market ran by carders after the whole Evo thing it's like people forgot it even happened. And the whole English speaking carding scene has always been completely infested with undercover cops and informants. This is why Evo ran off, because things got too hot for them and there was way to many cops and informants high up in their ranks and they thought it would be smarter to take the money and run instead of wait around to get busted. I just think that so many people called it quits after the Evo exit scam because people had lost so much money on that and the SR2 seizure in such a short amount of time that they lost faith in the markets and moved onto different things. Also after Agora left there and we were left with a bunch of sketch ass markets that people didn't trust, even more people called it quits. Then there was a whole new crowd that came in and didn't realize what AB really was and what kind of people were running the site and started using because it was the biggest and most popular market. Honestly I don't trust it. It's gonna go one way or another. There's definitely a shit ton of feds and informants high up in the pecking order on that site and it's just a matter of time before shit hits the fan.

AB has proven themselves time and time again that they are here for the long run and not just to make a quick few mil on an exit scam. I'm not saying they never are but just that they have been pretty damn reliable in the past. Hansa is still dope thogh

very easy to use. large variety of vendors. Been around a while without exit scamming. memorable name. Lots of people barely know how to decrypt or send bitcoins around, those people do not want to figure out multisig.

The name Hansa sounds effeminate while ALPHA bay sounds manly.

Idk man. It's definitely like "advertised" as a guess as just THAT MARKET like I recently started learning about dnm in like oct 2016 and usually they point all beginners/newbies to alphabay... i don't know about any other market but I guess because it is just very user friendly and basic. Feel like I'm ordering on eBay or something... eBay,, alphaBay. Maybe they were on to something

[1 Points] Killmorecords:

Ab has just been around longest without scamming. Vending wise I hate AB also buying wise I do too. Hansa is by far superior, it just does not have as many users but I think that will change with time.

[1 Points] jack19056:

Hansa says its multisig, but its NOT. If you transfer funds to a address that does not start with a "3" its not a multisig address. They ask you to send funds to a normal address and then transfer that to a multisig address, leaving large opportunities for exit scams.

[1 Points] soccerplayer-:

Anyway popular ain't better in anyway. Imagine some popular business centrum with all kind of unwanted shops and people and compare it with little shop which have everything that you need and also it's closest to you. Also, I think AB have biggest number of complaints about reports of losing deposits or missing coins.

[1 Points] soccerplayer-:

I think currently popular markets have biggest fees per order or registration of new vendor. They literally ripping coins from you. And they're also very rude when talking about exchange rates and want making resolution of dispute which is better for buyer and is against terms of vendor and their refund policy. All of them taking advantage from their position on sites like dnstats.net and creation date, nothing more.

Well if HANSA was a stock I'd buy because I think it's the future. Lol
