iPhone option to delete data after 10 failed passcode

Hello! Sorry for bad english. I make some local deals and DNM deals at same time, for local bussiness I use my iPhone... I have the option to delete data after 10 failed passcode turned on.. Police in my country are very abusive, they can kinda torture u to get the cellphone pw... I can digit 10 wrong passwords in less than 10 seconds.. In case of police is a good idea to use it? I read somewhere that the device erase/encrypt after that and nobody can recover it.. Thanks!

Don't use an iPhone, I've learned from reading here they can plug it in and recover everything.. don't quote me though, could be misinformed but I'd stick to burners

I was able to reset one to factory a friend bought. The person had a passcode on it and didn't tell them and wouldn't pick the phone up for us to ask then about it. I'll try and go back to see how I did it and update in a bit.

You can't enter passwords that fast. It stops you fora minute after three.

You should enable it though. Make sure there's no cloud backups either. They can be subpoenaed.
