What is the reason for the different doses on blotter?

I've found in my many years using the dnms that vendors generally have blotters with specific doses of 100ug, 130ug, 150-160ug and 275-277ug. Does anybody know why vendors use those doses specifically? Why such the large jump?

to be completely honest its because a lot of times people lay tabs at 150 to 200 ug and then sell them as 275 to 500ug tabs to rip people off. crystal LSD is 10,000 to 14,000 a gram, and some people just want to get all they can out of the shit......

other than that, "because we can".

100ug is the standard dose that all tabs should be laid at. it allows them to be cut up for microdosing still (try that with a 250 tab, heh heh.....gets hard to handle such small pieces!), it's a mild trip that won't freak a new user out too terribly, but tend to leave experienced users longing.....

also, theres a good chance that alot of your vendors are simply reselling someone else.

also, we know the math to make 100ug pages and multiples of that are easy to work with.....haha.

It has to do with how it's laid.

So there are 900 doses in a page.

So do the math on 1gram, or 100mg, or 10,000ug, spread on that.

To get 110ug, or frankly your 100-110ug, you have 10x900 laid ona gram.

Put 9x900 pages down, and you got 123.456ug, or just 125ug to be simple. Some might just say 130.

8x900 and you got 138ug. Let's just call that 140. Some might say 130 on that too.

7x900 is 158.73ug, or your 150's because let's say we didn't lay perfectly. There's your 150-160.

6 is 185ug

5 is 222ug

4 is your famous 277ug doses. Let's just say 275 to make a marketable, even number and lay error.

3 is your 370ug, or '400ug doses bro!'.

That's why. You'll notice that these 'odd' doses are laid on blotter art and not some cut of 140lb white watercolor paper.

You also got to think a lot of people who lay don't pick up gurrs on the full, they pick up halves or quarters, so someone might throw a half gurr on 4 pages to get your 138s.

You get even funnier doses when you talk about your triangle, hexagonal, or european blotters :)

Also a lot of people will knock off points to account for errors. Most people sell what should be 110ug as just 100ug, for example.

Now, why one blotter dosage over another? Competition and the market my man. When everyone around you is selling 100ug, how are you supposed to walk up to a major distributor and convince them you're good business and they should buy from you instead?

You sell them 125ug doses for the same price as their current plug sells them packs at 100ug. Then once they get to know you and you prove you're a better business partner to work with, you drop it to 100ug. I'm not promoting shady business tactics here, but maybe you sell the 100ugs for slightly lower than their last plug, maybe you sell the 125ug for slightly higher in the first place and catch the distributor when their current plug is on a dry spell.

There's also personal reasons. I know a lot of people really think 150ug is the perfect dose, and splitting a tab in half is annoying.

It depends who your market is. You throw around legit 277ug doses, and you're going to catch the eye of major distributors. You tell them what's up and you got 100ug on the low to work with and make connections that way.

Everyone talks about how your 277ug doses are fucking fire, it's your marketing, it's how you get your name out there, and the 100ugs are your bread and butter. But if you go around dosing randoms and trying to push 277ug to the masses and you're gonna attract a lot of heat, so it's not exactly for custies.

It all depends who you're trying to sell to. Are you trying to reach custies? Then you might want 125-150ug. Are you trying to catch the eye of a distributor? You might want 277ugs. Are you slinging mad volume and fat stacking benjys through established distribution networks across a circuit? Then 100ug.

TLDR: Marketing.

Just depends on what people are looking for. Not sure there's really a reason to it all. I personally only get 100ug tabs because I don't trust other people. People start thinking they have brass balls and end up jumping off the deep end on tabs over 200ug's ime.
