Leafly is the dumbest shit on the internet

Well theres 100+ of strains with purple in the name. Cross one of those with Sour Diesel and there you go... so yes it is.

It is on leafly man, it is a cross between Pre-98 Bubba Kush and Sour Diesel. It is a pretty nice deep purple strain, not your typical bodying purple. More sativa than indica.

[2 Points] huzibizi:

It's prob either a 'purply' strain crossed with a diesel strain, or your dealer got some purple bud that smelt like diesel (not the fuel) and decided to name it purple diesel.

Tbh it doesn't really matter as long as it's dank + frosty.

Purple diesel has nothing on "double fist being docked"... BFBD is the streetname.

[2 Points] Boosie5150:

Definitely a real strain, don't think it's fake just because you can't find it on a single site that has several popular strains listed.

it's the chlorophyll that makes weed green and any plant can produce purple buds when subjected to the right conditions. so, it could be either a purple kush (or some other purp strain) x ny sour diesel cross that they created themselves or it could just be a regular sour diesel that got too cold during flowering and went purple.

okay thanks

Lol.

Yupp, it's real but it's a matter of how much you trust the vendor to supply what you think you are buying

I seem to remember that Sour diesel is a cross between Big Sur Holy Weed and Romulan.

The ones I grew from seed had two main phenotypes - lemon smelling ones and fuel-smelling ones. They were all good.

Any plant can get purple in the buds if it has a few cold nights, but some are always purple. Looks nice, but a lot of purple cannabis tastes rough.
