Can we take a moment to recognise the fallen heroes of this sub?

I'd like to take a moment to remember the fools who used to post here but are all but forgotten.

/u/whacksforsmack was one of the first community members I ever had the honour of interacting with here. My second post was a review for a vendor that I royaly fucked up the formatting for. He politely re-did the review for me in the comments. He was always helpful and polite to members of this community. I have not heard from him in a while but I hope that his life is going well and good things are happening to him. It's because of that first exchange, I choose to try and be helpful and share laughs around here. I miss you whacks and hope you are okay!

/u/RIP_Meth_9000 was once just meth_9000. I was discussing earlier with another user how when this guy first came on the scene, I was a tad bit annoyed, but he grew on me. Maybe it was the subtle hints of his drug of choice, or maybe it was his innocent school-boy giggle, BAHAHAHA. Whatever it was, I learned to love him. Not one peep from our favorite tweaker, has me worried because we all know tweakers don't take breaks. I'd like to think he's on a meth induced, rouge mission, out to save our homeboy /u/DNM_cunt from the clutches of the evil Thailand Government in a tweaked out 'Rambo' style, 'Muricun blaze of glory. But I've been known to be overly dramatic. Whatever the case may be, I hope that he's alright, and he returns to us. Until then, we should keep him in our hopes. I will keep his memory fresh with the occasional "BAHAHAHA".

There are members here that are an institution to this community, like /u/Vendor_BBMC (god forbid he ever leave). Love them or hate them, they make this place what it is, and keep most of us coming back everyday.

I know there are others who should be remembered. I ask all of you to share with us some of your most memorable interactions with members who have become ghost in our minds, and to give a big BAHAHAHA for those beautiful souls, and a BAHAHAHA in hopes that their minds hear our call, and they can feel that we still love them.

I appreciate this post more than words can describe. I feel like I've lost dear friends, mainly meth_9000, but nonetheless.

/u/dnm_cunt

Never forget..

='(

[6 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

I noticed the lack of meth_9000-ness a few days ago. Maybe he's changed his name to avoid being doxxed by a vendor again.

If you give some psycho meth vendor a good review in exchange for free meth, they think they own you. Hopefully its nothing more serious than that. But his absence is quite noticeable, and worrying.

I think /u/2cblover has done a terrific job at being a mod, not only he keeps shit at bay and does the dirty work but the dude actively participates in discussions and contributes to whatever it needs to be said.

BAHAHAHA

I gotta dig through my PM's as I had been semi conversing with /u/RIP_Meth_9000 up until he disappeared. IIRC he was having a "change of plans" which can be taken way to many different ways especially because he had recently moved to a new area... which to me screams he got his tweakin ass arrested.

[3 Points] box672:

I've seen meth_9000 over on r/stims more than here recently (different name but anyone who remembers him will know who it is).

That place scares me tho... Goddamn, ill stick with r/opiates.

Hope to see him back

I'm pretty fond of /u/RIP_Meth_9000. He makes no attempt to hide his drug of choice and speaks proudly for those too ashamed to talk about their habit. I believe that he goes on extended binges followed by extended breaks, and I believe he's on a break right now. He's a pretty disciplined guy and seems to know a lot about the danger of the meth half life sneaking up on you and causing an O.D. when you don't even feel very high. I like to think he's out there somewhere living the life and punctuating each sentence with BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! From some conversations we've had, he's been around long enough to know about both harm reduction and keeping one step ahead of Johnny Law. /u/DNM_cunt...now there's probably a sadder tale than we can imagine. Just for what he was holding in jail, the Thai government wouldn't think twice about giving him ten years. /u/Vendor_BBMC I like to think of as the elder statesman of the sub, even if I can't follow half of what the fuck he's on about. As for myself, not a soul IRL knows about the somewhat prodigious quantities of meth I consume on a daily basis with no breaks. I can come here and listen to people tell me that I'm a hopelessly lost tweaker, but I think there are some people that get the day-to-day medicating. Since I adopted oral dosing I haven't been on any benders and have leveled out my use. It's just like one of the many vitamins I take every day. I've even been enjoying some LSD which I consider to be extremely therapeutic for a number of chemical dependencies. It's fun kicking back with the wife on 400ug of acid and she has no inkling because she's never been exposed to drugs or the drug lifestyle. She made a no alcohol rule over a year ago, due to the fact that I'm a snarky bastard when I drink, but she could never fathom that I have a need to get high on some kind of substance on a near daily basis. I believe that using meth every day is healthier than using alcohol every day, and I have never considered myself to be an addict or an alcoholic. Those are just labels that sobriety cults impose on people who choose to alter their consciousness in ways that undermine their law and order overlords. I've never met a 12 stepper who doesn't give an inordinate amount of credit to the police for them comin' to Jesus. Places like this have the power to help normalize drug use, and help average people see how much safer and less violent this kind of drug use is. I can see the markets playing a role in a model of legalization that stays the fuck out of people's homes and out of our mail system. I've been showing my wife every documentary I can about the DNM's as an experiment to see if a woman as square as she is could come around to the idea of just leaving alone all the people who like to get high at home, even if it's on heroin or meth. Not that I would ever come clean about my use, but just to see if a somewhat conservative person could entertain the idea of drug legalization. Plus being married to a square is the perfect cover and I've always enjoyed being high around others who are not. I've recently discovered straight caffeine pills and man those make me ramble worse than crystal but the nervous energy sucks. Time for a valium.

i miss /u/the_avid security analysis of the markets, that guy knew his stuff
