TYL about burner phones

Like to switch phones?

Take out the battery after comms?

Only activate your phone in certain places.

That's how they get you. Did you know that the phone company records the difference between a power down signal and a removed battery?

Did you know that very infrequent power on and offs are recorded in a database?

Did you know that when you first turn on a phone it links it to that location and in turn links it to previous numbers from that location?

Registration analysis is then performed to see if any of these new phones are activated in similar locations as old sketchy phones? They also check to see if the new number calls any of the old numbers and perform call chain analysis on the numbers.

If you aren't careful, your burner is burned as soon you turn it on.

One phone for each contact. Always turn it on in a random location.

Get an iPod and use an encrypted messaging app. No radio signal no location tracking. And this plan is pointless for small-medium distributors. They're gonna get you on something way before they locate your 8th burner phone.

You need to lay off the meth for a while bro.

[2 Points] DruggyMcDrugface:

Or you could use a smartphone with signal or surespot and negate pretty much all of this? Plus then you can encrypt it.

[2 Points] None:

I'll have a source with extra credibility please. Until then I ain't eating what you're serving and I'm gonna throw this in the FUD can.

[2 Points] Udaypbuh:

Got a source for this information?

[2 Points] Insanity_-_Wolf:

Why not just use some messaging app with VPN and 4G?

[1 Points] Lightentheblow:

The resources necessary would be too large. Also, let's say they do find out all that information....having multiple phones is not a crime. They would have to use this evidence to catch you physically committing the crime as well for any of this evidence to hold up in court.

[1 Points] Medacali:

Just GPS spoof your burner, or if you are that worried get an activation locked iphone, and do the bypass on it.

[1 Points] actualdnmuser:

Does this mean they get your exact location of turning on the phone? Or just like a relative area?

[1 Points] Imightbenormal:

Use PGP encryption and a shortwave radio. Send datapackets. You'll be triangulated but haul ass.

[1 Points] Bossmanrizzle12:

Just text in pgp????
