You can, but you should tumble your coins.
If you bought your coins in person and there's no trace of your name linked to the the payment method you used then it doesn't really matter, but it still serves as an extra level of security.
There's plenty of info about bitcoin tumbling around the sub, just search for bitcoin fog (it's been sketchy and taking forever to tumble coins, so beware) or shared coin. Just do your homework before picking one :)

what i would do is set up a wallet on Blockchain.info and when you go to send your coins to your market wallet you can send them as a thing called "Shared Coin" and its the cheapest tumbling service on the darknet
edit: the blockchain isn't really "darknet" but when you make your wallet i would access it only on tor or whatever you use to stay anonymous that makes your blockchain wallet a little more anonymous at least i think
