Tracking stuck in item processed?

I know it is that time of year and canada post tracking sucks but my pack has been stuck in the aame status since wee after midnight on Thursday morning.

Nothing seems to be changing and when I checked my PO box nothing was there. It says "scheduled for friday" but since it hasn't moved is CP just being slow with xpresspost? I'm not sure if I should check one more time at the office before it closes at 5pm?

Normally I wouldn't ask these kinds of questions but I have never used tracking before. No last minute xpresspost for me next NYE!

Sometimes Canada Post doesn't update their tracking for over 24 hours, like I have a normal package coming in the mail and it took a day just to be in the system, and then was processed on the 28th, only this morning did it update again to say it was processed and in transit. It's supposed to be delivered today same as yours (and mine's not express post) so I think you'll be fine and it'll come today. Canada post doesn't deliver on Saturday's and since it's New Year's weekend, they won't be delivering again till Tuesday :( Hopefully it works out for you!

OMG! This exact thing has happened to me!

My order was sent out from Calgary, Canada on the 21st December. On the 22nd December the tracking updated to item processed. Since then, the tracking has not changed :(

The expected delivery date is the 6th January, which is this Friday just like your package. Thing is, i'm in the UK and can't see it arriving by then. Any ideas, really worried now :(
