Deliveries going missing - light fingered postman?

I've been ordering for a while now from various vendors (always UK to UK, NI specifically) without a problem, but in the past 6 months i've noticed that packages are going missing and recently it's getting ridiculous. I trust the vendors have sent the goods and any package sent special delivery comes through no problems. Am i the victim of a light fingered postie, or could these be going missing at the sorting office. Has anyone else any experience of this?

There was a thread a few months ago about a guy who assumed his mail man was stealing his packages. He set up a decoy and a GPS tracker in package. Found where the guy was at and took care of business.

my moms husband works at one of those postal sorting annex buildings and he says people get fired all the time for stealing stuff from the mail. i guess one guy he worked with got caught stealing cash from the mail and killed himself at the sorting facility. so it happens probably more than you think. someone may be on to you ? be happy its not an inspector. see if the vendor can't send an empty package to you ?

Yeah around Christmas I had a ton of stuff not arrive. Also this year I've had 3 small packages not show up. All domestic and from trusted vendors. It's either the postman or one of my cunty neighbours.

It's possible of course but How would however it is know what's in the package?

Try sending yourself a decoy or ask a vendor to send an empty pack.

If it doesn't turn up report it as missing and say several other mail items are also missing over a period of time. That will see an investigation start at the PO.

I don't really know most uk vendors but are you sure they are sound?

Having the same issue. Started 3 months back

Same geographical area as OP

Somebody is lifting packages before they go out to local distribution hubs.

UK to NI are going missing. 1 in 10 or so.

Buy a GPS at your local electronics store, mail yourself a pack containing the gps somewhere in it and track that shit.
