Why do I get such a bad vibe from Dream market?

My very short back story I was a vendor on AlphaBay and now I just got out of jail (unrelated to vending). I was sad to see Alphabay was gone and with it some of my money (a few hundred dollars when I got locked up and a few thousand when I was released) and I was sad to see the founder killed himself. I have been looking for a replacement and after looking over several markets I saw Dream was the most popular.

My question is why do I have such a bad feeling about this market I can't figure it out?, I wanna find facts for my hunch.

My reasons are as follows (I think its much worse than this):

  1. Vending Bond (.1 bitcoin) about $1500ish very risky as markets go all the time, what has the vendor bond not been updated since Bitcoins were like 10% what they are now?

  2. Too many fake/scamming vendors posting ads

  3. They are already listed on Reddit's dark net market list of shame with a placeholder

These are my reasons why I am hesitant to Vend on this market and I am trying find out facts to why I have such a strong hunch that this market is no good

As I side note I have read the rules of this Subreddit and I would like to ask what No shilling means. I Googled it and checked the urban dictionary but my only conclusion that it means don't bullshit here, am I correct?

Ive personally never had an issue with dream, but it does seem shady. Look into Zion, Libertas, or Wall St market. All three are legit but need more vendors, the only thing dream has going for it is the amount of vendors/listings.

If you're so sketched out, just don't vend there. It's been around since 2013 and the admin had a perfect chance to ditch when BTC started making those massive jumps...but he didn't. But to address each of your points:

  1. Vendor bond: It takes money to make money.

  2. Scamming vendors: What does this have to do with you as a vendor?

  3. Superlist: FUD & phishing victims.

Why don't you want to pay the bond? $1500 is important to you? Uh oh I don't buy from vendors with money troubles.

You want to vend for free? HAHAAHHA

Yeah the site might disappear forever and you might lose a little coin. If that is a problem for you wait 6 - 12 months and check back with us or do direct deals.

It's not Alphabay but many are using it without issue. I got 2 orders just before Christmas.

bruh, every fuking market should give you a "bad vibe." theyre full of criminals, illegal wares, and illegal transactions. if that doesn't give you a "bad vibe" idk wtf will.

I’d rather use Dream than Agora Reloaded, Wall Street, Zion, Aero

Dream is still standing

You're sketched out cuz your a noob. Your expectations are far too high for a darknet site. Every darknet site even the ones that didn't exit scam have had major fucking issues. You have to lower your expectations cuz this isn't Amazon.

I wouldn’t buy from a vendor with a known previous arrest record.
