Question about delivery

Ordered for the first time a few days ago from a guy who had good reviews on DNM. He shipped quickly, insured mail via USPS. They attempted delivery today, but I wasn't around to accept it. I had assumed they would just leave it in my mailbox/at the door, but they are holding it at the post office for pickup. Should I be concerned? Should I just accept my losses and move on? Is there an issue with that sort of package with my name on it at the post office?

This just recently happened to me . If they left one of those slips on your door try going on the usps website to see if they can redeliver the package tomorrow. Thats what I did and they put it in my mailbox the next day.

never happened to me before, never ordered anything larger than my mailbox though. judging by how CDs work, if they know what's in the pack they probably already have the means and paperwork to nail your ass whether you go to the PO or not. these situations always seem odd though. if i were you i'd wait it out and see if they attempt to deliver it again

Sometimes a postal courier doesn't feel that it is safe to leave a package for you...

They are just watching out for your stuff, most likely.

Why would you have to sign for it? This sounds potentially troubling. You need to provide more info. Was there a pink slip? Why the hell would you have to sign for a domestic pack?
