You addressed the package to your old tenant that gets junk mail? What are you 12? That's OPSEC 101 dude. You don't do that shit..

No. They won't ship to someone who does not have the same name. It will most likely get returned to the vendor. Contact him/her if you can and see what they can do.

YES YOU CAN SCHEDULE A RESHIP!!!

My very first DNM order was shipped to a friend's apartment under his name. It was coming from Germany and the vendor had sent it where it needed a signature. He gets a slip in the mail saying missed delivery and need signature.

We debated back and forth and he was scared to go to the post office to claim the package. I of course, can't go because it's under his name. I'm fucking furious. So I call the post office, pretend to be my friend and schedule a reship. I state that I'm leaving town and that my roommate will be there to accept the package or I said it needs to be delivered before a certain time because I'm leaving town. Either way, the post office was cool about it and they reshipped it and I signed it as my friends roommate who had no idea we were shipping drugs to the apartment haha.

There was also some scary stuff during this reship which had me bugging, like 2 postal workers making the delivery but it could've been 1 for reship and 1 for normal apartment mail deliveries. It scared the shit out of me when I went downstairs to sign. Then I immediately go back to the apartment and look through the video screen out at street level and see the mailman on his cellphone through the camera. I was shitting bricks and immediately left the building, took random turns and ways to get home but I got there safely. All was well.

So yeah, you can schedule a reship. Just call up and say what I said. You won't be home but you're roommate will be there to sign.

Damn, here in the UK they don't seem to give a fuck about the name on the envelope, only the address, I don't think they check it. Never spoken to the mailman so they don't know who lives here.

I've ordered loads of drugs to the previous tenants name and they all turn up.

Only exception is if the previous tenant has had explictly requested their mail to be redirected I guess. So if you've had a few bills/letters to them you can be fairly sure it's safe to use their name.
