Vendor is asking me to FE due to Agora

I got a message today asking me to FE on a 1+BTC order, if I don't mind (which was marked shipped 3 days ago), citing Agora not having access to their PGP key, downtime, faster site, etc. and that they feel it has a high chance of being compromised/shutting down.

I believe I handled this appropriately, but how would you approach this situation?

never fe.

I wouldn't FE for this, unless it was a vendor id had a relationship with since SR1. And even then I wouldn't FE more than I could afford to write off without worrying, so it wouldn't be for 1 BTC.

Thing is this is nothing new with Agora. Its not like this is the first time they've gone done and not even the first time they weren't/couldn't sign messages w/ their PGP key. Its part of the risk with any market. I wouldn't FE unless its a vendor you've used quite a bit and of course, money you wouldn't mind saying goodbye to. If he shipped it 3 days ago you should get it very soon anyway. Unless of course he din't actually ship 3 days ago.

I wouldn't FE. Sounds sketchy.

You said that he "marked" it shipped. One question, do you actually believe he shipped your item?

Stay in escrow.

Never in my life FE even if they offered me a million dollars

I messaged a vendor about NOT FE'ING when in their product page they said it was required. This was on an order of less than 0.20 BTC and he said it was fine... this was on Agora also.
Vendor was fine with me not FE'ing.

Agora has been fast and slow and unavailable all the time some of the time since it's inception... a vendor using this excuse as a reason to FE is tardo.
