With all the new markets popping up, it's hard to keep track of the best prices and deals. Having to create a login on every new market to see the products, only to find there's nothing you like.
I'm thinking about creating a centralized place for Vendors to post their listings on all the markets. As a Vendor you would post your product, the amounts you are listing, links to the listing on different marketplaces etc.
To clarify, you don't buy the goods on this centralized market, it's more to advertise your products and give users a choice of market to purchase from, without having to sign up to every marketplace.
Buyers can then login and search easily for a product, an amount, at a certain price and then be given a choice of market to purchase from.
Obviously the main question here is payment. I'm currently not sure whether this would work out as a free service. At the same time, I'm struggling to find a method of payment for vendors that is beneficial to me and also doesn't put the Vendor at risk. Commision is not an option as there is no way to tell when an item is purchased from a market.
Please let me know what you think. Any flaws you may have noticed or any questions.
Might be better to approach the markets about it. Have them push listing details to you periodically, to ensure it's all up to date, and automated. No hassle for vendors, extra traffic for markets.
Once an hour or whatever, they push you xml with details, and buyers click through to the market.
