When you sign up for a PO box, you need 2 forms of identification. /u/chunkymunky20, you need to open the PO with that business name, but I'm not sure what documentation they require on it. A good idea would be something to do with homemade crafts or goods.

You can open a PO box, sit on it a week or 2 and see if you get any mail from the past owner. If so, you can try to order to them. However... if your PO Box is too small to hold the package, you will get the pink-slip to go to the counter and ask for it. (You Post Office might actually have package lockers in which a key with a number to the locker will be placed in your PO box. Lucky you if so!) If you have to ask a person for it, they may ID you, and they might not. . My first experience with a PO box, I ordered a legit package first off. Got the "pink-slip" and went to the counter. The lady read the return address and asked me what they sell... Thank god it was a legit package so I could tell the truth. She wasn't grilling me for info. They didn't suspect me for a DNMer. She was really just being nice and making small talk because the return addy had an interesting name. But it taught me that you have to be ready for shit like that.

Ok this is what I think:

Get a PO box from a mom & pop place. If you don't have one near you, get one at a UPS store. Both will usually give you a key to go in at night if you feel better getting it when no one is around. However, do not use a PO box just for illicit items. Start sending the magazines you subscribe to and ebay packages there as well. It has not been "proven" that this works, but thats what I would do. Start checking it regularly as well, not just when you are expecting a DNM package. Also, do NOT use a fake ID. That is the WORST thing you could possibly do in this situation. If they catch you, you're fucked. If they catch you and find out it is a fake ID, you're double fucked. Also, fake IDs can draw suspicion to the PO box. If I think of anything else, I will update this post :)

I'm wanting to know about this too, would it be possible to chuck a random business name on the incoming packages too? For example, DarkDoom LTD?

It's a very secure, 24/7 accessible to ensure you get what you receive.

Once it gets to a station a dedicated clerk places it in your box by 9am six days a week and locks the back side. Cameras are rolling in and out of every facility.

The biggest downside is keeping up payments. Everything will be sent back the eleventh day after your rental period expires.

From our FAQ:

It confers no particular advantage from LE, but it might keep your roommates out of your mail. That being said, if you agreed not to bring drugs into a communal living area, why are you doing that?

if youre using a usps, thats federal property, which increases any charge you may pick up by... alot.
