There's a reason markets aren't popping up like they used to.

Remember after Silk Road, everyone just thought Ross made a bunch of mistakes(Which he did) and that's what got him caught(Which it is) so the major thinking was, "Let me just not do what he did and I can get away with it!" and some markets did. They ended up taking everyone's coins and getting out of there.

This year has proven something different though; LE is done fucking around.

After watching Alphabay and Hansa admins get busted and over-taken by LE, probably scared a lot of people away from building a market. I think one dude ended up killing himself because he knew he was fucked.

Getting caught controlling a market is a high risk now and getting caught means you are spending the rest of your entire life locked in a cage.

Think about that for a second. Getting caught running a market means you will NEVER have freedom again. You will never have a girlfriend, you will never play Xbox, you will never browse Reddit, you will never go out to a sports game with your buddies, you will never go to another party...you will lose everything that makes you human...

The DN aren't hidden anymore and LE is really fucking hungry for busting them.

Stand for something or Fall for anything. Some people are willing to risk everything to make world a better place... Galileo, MLK, Mandela, Ross Ulbricht, etc..

or spend the rest of your life playing xbox, i'm sure thats fulfilling.

You have no idea what you're talking about. What, last year they were cool about it? Fuck off. Are you new? It's business as usual. If it's so scary why are you here?

LE's here to scare the all good devs and admins away, look out

That's why we need to normalize it!

Hey LE fuck off. They have already released numerous articles about fear mongering to disrupt markets. Nice post!

I mean you don't have to get caught... There are ways to still stay anonymous and make sure your site/location is never comp'ed.

Difficult part would be for the average programmer to ensure there are no vulns. I wouldn't be surprised if LE had vulns, pretty much 0 days to major services /etc so that even Pretty good security wouldn't matter too much (say if there was a major flaw in how some php input was handled.

The guy that killed himself, yeah he was beyond fucked. The person your talking about is/was the Alpha Bay owner/dev. He got expedited back to the US after having a hell of a time in a foreign country, he killed his self in jail/holding cell.

Ok, but what can we do about it to mitigate these issues and get some markets back in place? A lot of people depend on them.

At some point a powerful mafia or even an intelligence agency like CIA will open one and dominate.
