Hey guys, I'd like to take a moment to announce the launch of my new multisig escrow service.
Lamp Post: Multisig Escrow for Bitcoin transactions
The official Lamp Post PGP public key can be found here: Lamp Post Public Key
The process is pretty simple:
As a Seller, you generate a new public/private key, enter the payout address, and the amount of BTC expected.
As a Buyer, you specify account details given by the Seller, generate a new public/private key, and enter your refund address.
The Buyer may then finalize or dispute the account
Your private key is never sent to Lamp Post.
NOTE: The site requires JavaScript enabled for automatic keypair generation and message signing.
The service is currently in a testing phase until October 1st, 2015.
During this time, I encourage everyone to play around with the service with small amounts of Bitcoin.
You can easily open an account as both Buyer and Seller to test the service.
There's still a lot of work to be done, but as it stands now, the service is completely usable.
In the near future, I would love to create an API for DNMs to integrate with, but for now this service is best used for direct deals with vendors you already know.
In the testing phase, all fees generated from the service are donated to: TorServers.net
