With alphabay gone, what is this communities opinion on decentralized markets.

Now with alpha bay gone. I would like to hear what this community thinks about the future of decentralized markets such as open bazar, and the blockchain based marketplace built on syscoin. Now that you can run both through tor. Is this not the future? A market that never has any down time and can never get taken down. No chance to run with people's money, and no one needs to take the huge risk and host. What are the downsides?

Openbazaar 2.0 looks promising too.

What about particle? Sounds better than openbazar

Yes, I believe decentralized markets are definitely the way to go for the future.

For the people who don't know much about the 2 http://syscoin.org/syscoin-2-0-vs-openbazaar-comparison/

[1 Points] None:

They are the future as people will begin to trust centralized marketplaces less and less making them obsolete.

Decentralized markets would be the future, but so far nothing has happened in that arena. I doubt we will see anything anytime soon. People have been talking about it since SR1: DarkMarket, Open Bazaar and various blockchain markets, but to my knowledge they have not facilitated one DNM transaction yet. Centralized DNMs work fine, and by now every one with experience knows the risk involved.

So can we trust Open Bazar 2.0 now you can use it through Tor?
