I believe so as well.. 2 of my go-to vendors went on vacay within 3 days prior to the downtime, and another vendor I use regularly I'm on day 8 waiting on a 2-day priority pack.. Sketch.

if you go to the feedback and go one site forward you see last aktive time no matter vacancy mode or not.. my two says they would messege back/resolve orders in the vancy period.. no msg

NorthwestHarvest happened to go on vacation beforehand because he was worried about the deposit issues people were having. It may just be coincidental.

Market admin staff usually have good ties to at least some of their vendor shops.

Ya i feel like vendors new in advance.... 3 people i normally use went mia a few days before the anouncement

EXACTLY! DrRx stopped shipping Monday and Said would resume Wednesday a 5.0/5.0 over 2k transactions. Also BlueViking said "Because of fluctuations and slow Agora im going on vacation!"
Agora admins must have ties to some the top vendors, but do you blame them? They are their bread and butters

I had a gut feeling something big was about to happen. With btc dropping and all I almost went all in on coin but my gut told me not too. I imagine vendors had somewhat of an idea.

I think so, the most popular vendors were becoming the least reliable. I think the big btc holders got a tip off to keep the Agora owners safe from physical harm. The regular DNM joe schmo is just going to eat the $100 loss.
I think this tip came before the last downtime, but perhaps instructions were given not to sell off until that downtime day, hence helping push the btc price down.
FWIW it is summer vacation season in US. Sometimes people actually go on vacation occasionaly!
edit: just wanted to point out that I'm not on Agora and am only stating my opinion.
