Best free VPN to hide from ISP that I am using TOR brpwser ?

Looking for a vpn that doesn't log traffic and isn't from USA/CANADA where they spy on your traffic without warrants. It is safer to connect to TOR through a VPN so your ISP / whoever is watching doesn't know that you are actually using TOR since the connection is encrypted through the VPN, adding an extra layer of security for the peace of mind.

You're most likely not going to find a free VPN that won't log your traffic and will refuse to cooperate with the law. If you're adamant about getting a free VPN, I would recommend Spotflux. However, you'd be better off using NordVPN, as they're pretty anti-LE. It's also only like 60 bucks for a yearlong subscription. I feel like, if you're willing to go the extra mile of using a VPN to hide your Tor use, you should be willing to spend 5 bucks a month on it.

VPN is not enough. You need to be behind at least 7 proxies.

PIA is cheap and good. It runs about $4 a month, doesn't log, and shares the same IP address among multiple users. Pretty standard VPN for people torrenting. If I were making darknet purchases, I would feel safe using it. If I were more deeply involved in darknet activity, maybe not.

Free VPNs don't care about you, they're for torrenting so your ISP doesn't send you a letter or cut off your service.

Pay some bitcoin for a good VPN, they could really use the money.

TL/DR: You probably want a Tor Bridge ( https://www.torproject.org/docs/bridges ) instead of a VPN

If your goal is hiding your Tor usage, you don't really want an ISP (since that just moves who gets to see that you're using Tor). You may want to read this: "HIDING TOR FROM YOUR ISP – PART 1 – BRIDGES AND PLUGGABLE TRANSPORTS"

Also - you may want to read up on obfsproxy that accomplishes similar.

You're 100% NOT going to find a free VPN that doesn't log traffic. Think about it for a second. That's just never going to happen.

I'm using CyberGhost right now and am very pleased. Will def be renewing once my 3 months runs out.

[2 Points] vwermisso:

Highly recommend Cyber Ghost.

Spotflux was shitty for me and leaked my dns on default.

Private Tunnel is the best by miles in terms of speed, but you only get a hundred mb, so it's to be used rarely in a pinch when you need a high speed vpn.

There is no VPN in the USA/Canada which wont keep logs, even if they don't keep logs, their DC will.

Thanks for all the answer everybody, I'll be subscribing to a 60$ a year VPN. Anyway I also torrent I think I will run torrent through that as-well even though it might be a bit slower (I got 30 Mb/s download)

I've been thinking about setting up a bridge or even tunneling my tor traffic through ssh. Is this as good as a VPN? It seems 5-0 targets VPN users too so wouldn't a bridge or tunneling be a better option?

How much is your freedom worth to you? Buy a good one (which is cheap) and have the peace of mind. Here, this is the best updated guide online for them:
