Just received a letter from the police...

I ordered a small amount of LSD on Hansa Market one month ago, today I got the letter from the police. I called them, the policemen was very relaxed, even allowed me to postpone the meeting. But he told me, what I ordered, my name, the date of the order and my stupid vendor send my adress in plain text. How fucked am I?

YOU FUCKING IDIOT! YOU NEVER UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES TALK TO THE POLICE! Oh my fucking god reserve your right to remain silent and tough it the fuck out. Ask for a lawyer! He isn't there to be "cool" about it. He isn't there to be your fucking friend. Let that sink in, it's his job to put you in jail.

as you told him he was right and what comes next.

well, not too much, expect a money fine in the worst case if you never did something wrong before.

and next time, dont call them. lol

lucky you live in europe

[10 Points] SpiffyWhiff:

DONT TALK TO THE POLICE, EVER!

You aren't clever, they aren't your buddies, they aren't giving you a break, they don't have to tell the truth. Their only goal is to put you in a cage, and ANYTHING you give them removes options for your defense lawyer. This is what cops do for a living and they are good at it. I see a shocking number of DNM criminals that give full confessions, aren't the DNM's for dealers that are smarter than street corner dealers? At least a corner boy isn't just going to confess.

In the US at least(I know this is not universal), not talking to police cannot be used against you at trial, so why give them anything to work with?

[6 Points] Errl-Dabstien:

Why would you call back? If they wanted to peruse , they'd come to you! Without knocking!!! Instead, you went to them?

FYI -- consider Your address as done and that now you're in the system.

[2 Points] OpOnymousSurvivor:

did you agree that you were expecting it? you should have thrown that letter away and forgot about it

EU LE is way more lenient on the final users than they are in America.. in either case though, deny DENY DENY

I read stories of people in Germany getting probation for half kilos of speed paste and laugh to myself - I was sent to prison for less than a pound of fucking weed in the states!

[2 Points] None:

You hire a lawyer since you just dry snitched on yourself.

I hope you aren't in Germany.

Have a few Questions :

1) did you manually encrypt your adress.? Or use the sites encryption ?

2) Are you sure the Vendors PGP did not change before you ordered ?

3) What Country are you in ?

[2 Points] Clay_Bateman:

Why was your vendor sending YOU your address? Tracking info?

Did you autoencrypt?

[1 Points] cindelle2:

you likely spoke with a postal inspector. if you indeed purchased "personal" amounts, then they want your vendor, not you....

[1 Points] DooshNozzzle:

dude why the fuck did you even call them? and why are you setting up these meetings? just ignore them completely! If they want to set up a meeting they better come to your house and drag you there!

[1 Points] Mr_dope97:

Damn dude that was a pretty big mistake . I wouldn't be surprised if they recorded your talk & use it against you in court etc .. Goodluck though man ..

[1 Points] stabBarbie:

What do you mean your vendor is stupid by sending your address in plain text? Aren't you the one that did that

[1 Points] NorthernPurpZ:

What country is this in? GERMANY?

[0 Points] Nandy-bear:

I don't think it's fair to blame the vendor, as you send your address to him. Where would he send your address for it to be in plaintext ? He's not using some Hansa-to-Printer API

[-2 Points] subutextual:

The police don't send letters asking you to call them. They either visit you or you will receive a document from the court system if something has been filed against you.
