PSA, don't hold other peoples' money! YOU should NOT be responsible for any more money than you are willing to lose, ever.

This week I've read about over 2 different people who have lost bitcoins that were fronted to them. One thinks that a vendor will front him product in order to pay back his own debt. No vendor is that stupid.

Please consider the fact that your creditor knows you will pay him back, so why shouldn't he rob you of your product or bitcoin and then expect his money back afterwards too? He is under a perverse incentive to maximize his profit, because its pure profit from little work with no chance of you fighting back or tattling to the cops. Do you live in happy smilelyland where everyone has your best interests in mind and no shady characters would fuck you over for personal gain?

When people know your method of delivery, they can intercept your shipment easier than you can receive it. People steal amazon packages regularly too, so don't tell people about those purchases either.

Now for all I know I'm humoring beggers who've stumbled into a way to disguise begging, if so, all the better! It kills me on the inside to think of what could happen if its not simple begging.

But this all goes twice as much for vendors since anyone who knows about your operations will have that much more leverage against you to comply with their demands.

Why would it be dumb for a vendor to front someone product, as long as the vendor trusts the buyer and has dealt with him before. Irl dealers front buyers all the damn time, it's not stupid some people are actually trustworthy believe it or not.

This is where a PO box can help.
