I went to go buy $150 worth of BTC through libertyx but when I redeemed it I got $145 worth, how does this happen?

Most stores now have a certain percent fee they charge just for using the service. Thats most likely what it is.

Yeah just saw that they actually charge you 1% from libertyx that's why I'm short money but 1% isn't that bad compared to other places

You are lucky you aren't charged 9-12%(depending on the locations around your area)... but I digress.... the reason you only got $145 is because the store charged a 3-3.5% tax, which libertyx takes out automatically

it seems to suck now cuase most of their locatio nare the blue flag and everytime i ask them if htey do liberity x it doesnt work.

I've had to find other alternatives to get coinage.
