Am I being overly paranoid?

There's a long backstory, but due to OPSEC im not able to share it. I apologize for that in advance.

I have a package being sent to me via USPS Priority, it's being shipped to me from about 6 states away. The vendor has given me the tracking number. The package arrived at the sorting facility in that state at approximately 9PM last night, and as of now (14 hours later) it's labelled as "In-Transit", however the last scan shows "Arrived at USPS sorting facility".

I find it very strange it's still there. Maybe it has to do with how late it was scanned. I'm going to keep an eye on it, but what do you guys think. I'm pretty confident im overthinking it, but if someone could give advice it would be really appreciated.

Stopped reading right there

Happens all the time. I often get my packages when they still say they are in sorting. Software latency / User error problem I suppose.

Don't sweat it man. I had a package ship out last Tuesday, and the tracking showed no updates or scans until after it was delivered to my mailbox yesterday. Sometimes the USPS tracking system is just wonky and glitchy. The only thing USPS is consistent with is their inconsistency and constant delays and problems. Your pack just probably missed a couple scans and it threw it all off. Hang tight, I'm sure the pack will he delivered safely to you eventually.

I shipped something (non-DNM) about 150 miles away, 2-day priority. It took 5 days.

I'm never messing with USPS again.
