Extortion Message on Alphabay

Just got a message on alphabay containing my personal information and saying they will leak my orders to local authorities and sell my info if I dont deposit 1btc to the address he provided. This is very concerning to me and I am wondering if this has happened to anyone else lately? I have encrypted all my orders so I dont know where the info came from.

It's probably a vendor that you used before and that's how he has your info.

Just ignore it. What are they gonna do? Call up the police and say, "yeah, I totally sold drugs to this guy"? Even if they go the "concerned citizen" route, they still won't get anything out of it. Likely a bluff. Don't respond, ignore it and clean house just to be safe.

Holy fuck bro that's scary. Sorry to hear that man. I would just ignore it

Phished or not encrypted. Don't pay, clean house.

Sounds like a scummy vendor.

[8 Points] xLATINx:

Personally encrypted or check the box on AB with your address in clear text encrypted?

[4 Points] deafbeth:

name and shame

[4 Points] greenwaxlighter:

If you have only bought a few orders, maybe you can deduce who the vendor is

[3 Points] jefft420:

Tell him "Not me, guess i need a new drop addy. Fuck off!"

[3 Points] disc0_AlphaBay:

SMITEGODS: Invite a staff member to the conversation. They will ban the vendor.

[1 Points] xanaxog:

they have no motive to actually carry out their attempt.. i wouldn't worry too much

[1 Points] A_A_A_A_AAA:

Do not pay. Fuck them.

[1 Points] crakbenz:

Send him a link to a job application, clean house and clear electronic devices, and then laugh at his attempt of extortion.
