Look into and consult with your doctor before potentially using:

Imovane (Zopiclone) works really well but you don't want to be relying on it everyday. Exercise everyday. That's the one thing that's made a world of difference for me. Might be a trite advice, but it really helps.

What is this?

I am a former benzo addict, took my last this past June. Don't know if they've been said already, but I use each of these in some sort of a combination every night and find them to be basically benign as far as side effects:

Hope everything works out for you mr chewygeeza. Edit: oh, and masturbating when trying to fall (back) asleep is very effective! So is eating a banana.

Triazolam (halcion) is good for sleeping. I 2nd the hydroxyzine, not habit forming, 100mg totally knocks me out, 50 mg is great for allergies.

To my experience melatonin actually works and gives a good night sleep not like OTC anti-histamines which make you wake up feeling tired and drowsy, but only if you go to sleep in the next 5-10 minutes after feeling the effect, if not it washes out quickly.

There is an app called relax and sleep, it lets you combine together some relaxing sounds adjusting their volume, worked for me putting it under my pillow in bed.

And then there is busting one inside a sock of course.
