So I have read a lot of things about ME that seem a little like FUD at this point. I know there are a lot of arguments against ME because they prefer to use JS. (it DOES NOT have to be enabled it is merely an option)
I have personally used ME a few times now and so far things have gone smoother than baby shits. I am not an amazing coder by any means but i understand a little bit. What I have noticed from using it for a little while is that they seem to understand coding and Tor extremely well. Their market works 100% (AFAIK) with Tor on the highest security settings with the <iFrames> both forbidden. The system has always instantly notified me of my BTC deposits (although it does take 6 confirmations to credit your account which is roughly an hour) and Withdrawals have come through within a timley manner.
Not to point any fingers but Nucleus (which I have used multiple times and many others seem to love and trust) does NOT work flawlessly with Tor on the highest security. The buttons on the outside of the UI wont show up. If you had never visted this market with Tor's security turned down you would almost have no idea those buttons were there or how to navigate. Also there seems to be some randomly placed code behind the main content on there. Not sure what it is but it does not seem intended to be there.
To me I can't see any reason why, for security reasons, someone would avoid ME. If you hate Lord of the Rings i understand why you wouldn't use them.
Any valid arguments against are welcome but please be prepaired to back up your claims with proof or sources, No FUD please.
No problems with ME thus far. That doesn't mean they AREN'T shit/LE/thieves/whatever, but it's my experience with them.
The layout is good, the auto-encryption is handy, and getting messages every step of an order process is nice.
I can understand some people not taking them seriously - you're doing potentially illegal things hosted by some guy who calls himself fucking Gandalf. However, ignoring the "theme" of the site, it's just a great marketplace.
My two cents.
