FLO is down for good. Another scam in the books.

I'm really sorry for you loss of Bitcoins.
I haven't look to much at FloMarket when it was up but yes it seems that's another possible scam to add to the list.
However the alleged "hack" is also possible. The security of DarkMarkets related to hacks is definitely a question on the table at the moment.
It seems that a lot of people who launch these DarkMarkets are underestimating the threat of hacking and the importance of penetration testing before they activate the sites...
The best strategy i have seen for the moment, which is probably also used by other DarkMarkets, is the stratey of Blue Sky Market which seems to manually review all withdrawals.
A good provisional solution to avoid hacks but for sure not a long term solution.
Also this alleged "hack" remind me a lot of the stories of SM, BMR, or TM...I don't know for FloMarket but it really look like the same kind of hack (if they are really hacks)...

Unfortunate. Flomarket was one of the sites I couldn't figure out how to spider.

Maybe this will force everyone to figure out i2p, multisigs, and TMP. If people want to stop getting scammed they need to invest time and effort instead of sinking more money into the next scam site. We will be making the same posts in the next marketplace that turns scammer. My guess is we will be talking about pandora in the next few weeks.

Use 'The Marketplace' exclusively. Force your customers onto it - it's pretty shiny and hasn't got Eastern European scam written all over it.

Please check out The Marketplace, no centralized escrow. Just in need of more vendors!!!!
