Package doing some strange things on its way to destination.

So I placed an order last week from a reputable vendor whom I placed orders with before. Vendor shipped early last week and the pack sat at the sort facility at the point of origin for 4 days. No big deal, to be expected with the holiday overload. Anyway, then pack arrives at my local sort facility for less than 24hrs, clears, is sent to my local post office, but arrives just after mail goes out and doesn't make the rounds for that day. No big deal, it ought to go out tomorrow. Well I checked tracking after a no-show today and the package went back to the local sorting facility last night, and was marked as "left sorting facility, in route to final destination" in the wee hours of the morning. I received another DNM package today, and upon checking the tracking for that order see that it left the local sorting facility later than the pack in question. Even though it left later, it made it to the local post office and was delivered today. So what's the deal, yo? I'm not too concerned about the package being intercepted by LE as the other pack landed just fine. Is this just a USPS screw up? Is it potentially on it's way back to the return address? Anyone have anything like this happen before? Anything I can do?

It's the holidays bro. Always keep a clean house. Tracking the hell out of a package is not going to stop a CD if the pigs had caught wind of it anyway. Practice good opsec always. And stop pulling your hair out over this. The postal service is up to it's neck in packages.

USPS is weird man just wait it out. I had a package come from the east coast go all the way to the west coast. From there it went to puerto fucking rico and then to my state in the middle of the two coasts. Delivered in 9 days when it should have been 3. I had another which came from my state, but was sent out of state to another one, then back to my state and delivered in 2 days.

I can imagine that they have large bins on wheels which contain the packages and they probably fall off and tossed into the next bin. Or maybe falls from one conveyor belt onto another.

I've been ordering from ogbryan for years. He is beyond well established and trusted. For whatever reason, a pack from him took 14 days, would up in some NorthEastern states before finally landing back in VA.

Fuckin way she goes.

Same here, myUSPS says all my packages have been delivered when I still haven't seen shit, one of them being an express order. USPS is just shit and we just have to deal with their bullshit until January.

I had a clearnet package do this once. Turns out the mailman let it slip underneath his seat. He delivered it personally that same night to my door. I wish he didnt retire :(

I wouldn't know why a package would be marked as out for delivery then get sent back to the sorting facility though.

just post office being inefficient. confiscated package will say so in orange lettering when you check the tracking and will be held up for about 2 weeks at least
