Fuck yeah, I bet it is. Check this out: "the search came after a tip from a federal task force about drug trafficking in Naperville. Investigators say Brian Patrick Noone, 20, obtained narcotics through the mail and then sold them."

It could very well be, although the article didn't indicate anything in regards to it coming from California, or the sender also being arrested, so we'll never know.

Does XK's bust mean that mail is being more thoroughly searched for awhile? Also, can drug dogs even detect pills? Always wondered that. All of this about packages being busted from "tips" or from "Random package analysis" freaks me out.

Hmm... I'm not sure. It does look good, but there's nothing about a controlled delivery or the mail. He wasn't charged federally so nothing in PACER, but I did find his case in the Will County online court record system. (This is lucky because 'Naperville' is also in 'DuPage County', and DuPage County does not have an online court record system - they expect you to show up in person to read anything.) The case seems to just be for possession, nothing smacking of DNM: https://www.dropbox.com/s/z7niy5axmkf2jly/2014-07-27-ill-briannoone.maff

There's one last thing to try: when you look at the Will County website, it mentions you can get copies of court documents through something called https://www.i2file.net . I signed up an account, provided my credit card, and asked for the 'affidavit' in case '2014CF001057'. I hope I did it right and they're not going to charge me $10 for the wrong document... (At $2 to start and 50 cents a page, it really adds up.)

LMAO, that guy looks like he would never be able to buy bars on the streets of chicago, this is definitely dnm related.
