Howdy y'all, the names Caeser, and I'm a noob. Not just any noob, I ashamedly hold the title of the most noobiest of all noobs. I humbly ask the DNM community to assist this woeful noob. Let me explain:
I quite possibly botched my first ever (and probably most precious until next Bicycle Day) purchase of any kind of this sort (y'all should know what I mean) because what keeps constantly tripping me up over and over and OVER again is the concept of "time-stamping." I get that it proves you bought BTC at a certain prices, but I don't know how to get the "time-stamp." Is it automatically made when the purchase is made? I'm so lost.
/When/ I understand what a time-stamp and how to acquire it is, how do I go about sending it (along with my bitcoins) to the vendor? The guy I'm trying to buy from (the all-mighty and power BlueViking) mentioned the timestamp thingy on "Bitstamp" but when i tried to buy BTC there, It needed me to verify with my Driver's License and shit, and idk if I feel comfortable doing that, so I have an account on Coinbase instead, but it's all so confusing.
Pity me my colleagues, revel in my ineptitude. All I ask is that even just one of you, one with the patience of a saint and the knowledge of how /all this/ works, please assist me. I want acid, man. And even If I can't take advantage of the wonderful Bicycle Day sale BV is having, at least once I get the hang of it I will happily buy it at full price.
This is my solemn plea for help. Please accept it.

P.S. If it is easier for you to just disregard the list I have made and teach me from the ground up, I am more than happy to accept that.
P.S.S. This is also my first time using Reddit, so forgive any of my grave "Reddiquette" trespasses.
Buy BTC from coinbase, transfer the btc to an offline wallet like electrum. Then just go on bitstamp website and look at the current rate. Right now 1BTC=~$454, then just figure out from that how much btc you need to send to BV's wallet and send it. Then just let him know you sent him BTC and give him your address (encrypted of course) AFAIK He doesn't require you to send him a 'timestamp' or anything.
