Vendor marked shipped, then canceled the order the next day. Sketchy?

Vendor marked my order shipped (even sent me a little thank you message), then the next day canceled it. Money immediately went back to my market wallet so I'm not put out really but is there any reason I should be sketched out? Why would somebody do that? It's not much of a scam cause I still have my money

Maybe they realized that they did not have the stock to fulfill your order? Have you asked them?

I get where your question is coming from though. Was it a reputable vendor or a new/sketchy vendor?

[3 Points] None:

Sounds like they marked the packs shipped prior to packaging them up because they would have headed out to a blue box right afterwards. When making your order, they probably noticed they didnt have enough of the product and cancelled your order.

As longas you got your coin back, I wouldnt worry.

Did you ask the vendor? All we can do is speculate and cause undo drama by answering.

Im out dis bitch.

[3 Points] Theeconomist1:

No not really. Only the vendor knows why he did this. More than likely the vendor is into the practice of marking shit sent before they are actually dropped. Prob didn't have the inventory and cancelled your order.

Not sure what there is specifically to be concerned about. LE collecting addys? Why refund your coin - they wouldn't need to do that step to collect addys.

Occams razor my friend. Occam tells me that the vendor ran out of inventory

I mark orders shipped after I printed the label, after that I actually wrap up the order. The vendor probably realised he/she was out of stock after that,

Sketchy? No. Frustrating? Yes.
