Do you memorize or bookmark Onion URLs?

It probably isn't a huge deal but I don't like bookmarking allegedly illicit Onion sites, even on Tor in TAILS. So I memorize them. It's actually kind of fun to make up a mnemonic for them.

For example, the Avengers forum:

avengerfxkkmt2a6.onion

How I remember it:

Avenger, fuck my titty (at) 2 and 6 (pm)

Makes me chuckle each time I type it.

How about y'all?

Edit: guys obviously this isn't a legitimate OPSEC measure. Silly geese

I feel you on not wanting to, but if a jury's only argument is that you had an illegal site bookmarked, that will never hold up in court.

I save them in a text file after pulling them from the superlist here. Though it would be highly unlikely, I always figure there's at least an off chance that someone could fuck with the superlist just when I need to get the link, so I'd rather have it saved somewhere already.

I mean, the reality is that someone would have to be able to open my persistence partition to get to that information, so I'm not bothered by having it saved in a text file.

Just memorize deepdotweb and use there giant list of links. Or search here.

I use KeepassX in Tails, seems to work alright.

Haha, that's awesome /u/darktriaddd, you just made my day. I'm don't have any neat way to memorize urls. The first one I knew by heart was silkroadvb5piz3r and I knew that as silk road vb5 (like vbulletin version 5) pfizer. The last (fallen) one I knew by heart was agorahooawayyfoe just because it's so easy. I also know avengerfxkkmt2a6 of course through repetition. I'm increasingly becoming a fan of these word+word+word domains like GammaGoblin's pushingtabu because there's not enough computing power in the world to create a cloned url, which is the point of those domains.

I write it down in my diary.

It's easier to just keep a list of them along with your account details in a password saving app, that way everything you need is right there. Everything is encrypted in a hidden partition, so its not like theres much of a danger in saving them.

[1 Points] Tossingthislatertho:

I just put it in a text doc.

[1 Points] Ruda357:

Write it down somewhere offline and relatively secure / inconspicuous. Like page 420 of your favorite book or something.

I used to (and still do) remember the SR1 url. That was when that was the place to be though. Now there's all these different markets and alternative urls - I just keep them in a text file encrypted in a veracrypt container.

KeypassX db on encrypted TAILS usb with persistence enabled

[1 Points] SYTYCDank:

I just started using gramsflow which has been super convenient. I keep an encrypted copy of addresses as well on my persistent.

[1 Points] ass-fister:

I have a notepad made up of all the onion links I use. So whenever I need to go to any site I just copy and paste. Just in case the superlist here ever goes down or whatever I can still have the links saved somewhere.

[1 Points] None:

notepad/textpad

[1 Points] Trap_bummer:

Why not use keepass, it comes with tails.

You can use keychain software such as KeyPass to manage them behind an encrypted file using a master password. You can store site's urls along with your username/password. It allows you to have multiple logins and passwords to multiple different sites without having to memorize them all.
