plate making numbers/letters invisible for cars

Hello there,

A friend of mine asked me, if I could get him some kind of plate/folium that apparently makes the numbers/letters on the car plate invisible when you get flashed. Does someone of you know a reliable source (preferably online, like in the Darknet) where I could get such a thing for him? Thx in advance for any helpful advice!

The film/spray stuff is a scam. Here's an anecdote you may find useful.

A friend had a rear view camera with UV nightvision. He got pulled over one night (dude is white and in his 30's, this was important) and grilled for a few minutes before he realized the UV leds were blinding the numberplate recognition camera on the cop car. He explained, was told to disconnect it and was allowed to go.

They used to sell clear stick on film that had micro prisms in it so the plate was visible when viewed from dead behind but if viewed at an angle you could only see half, but I haven't seen that in years

Didn't they debunk that stuff as not working for shit in an episode of mythbusters years ago?

You can get that shit at any art store. It's just a sticker. Your "friend" as done no research. Also if your compadre is doing this to avoid paying tolls and running red lights just wait until he actually gets pulled over. Good chance cop will see the reflecting tape when he walks by and you know what that means?

They gon try and pin a felly on it.

Think Mythbusters concluded you need an AA fueled dragster to beat the cameras..none of the gimmicks worked even slightly enough to be worth your time.
