Markets banning carfentanil

Recently I have noticed a disturbing trend in the amount of carfentanil being offered on the markets. As an example on Aero I recently saw offerings of it by the gram and even a nasal spray. I can't imagine trusting anyone enough to properly dose that in a nasal spray. Let alone the fact that in any form it's more of a weapon / poison then a drug.

Given the amount of heat opiates are attracting lately and the fact that society is starting to take notice of the trend of buying fentanyl online, I think it's a terrible idea for markets to allow carfent listings. I can't imagine that the commission's gained on it sale could possibly justify the added heat and even the potential for terrorism implications. Therefore I don't think it's ridiculous and it's probably a good idea that carfentanil listings be banned. Thoughts?

I think I wouldn't allow it if I ran a market. It's essentially a chemical weapon.

I have read arguments for allowing fent & its analogs because banning them would drive up the quantity of fentanyl sold as heroin on the markets, since heroin listings would presumably still be allowed. That's solid logic, I suppose. Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't.

Markets might want to require fentanyl test strips be sent out with all heroin orders. That could possibly help defeat that problem. There may be some fentanyl analogs & derivatives that don't test positive for fentanyl however.

You'd have to be a buffoon to deal in that shit these days. Not only are they specifically targeting the people who deal in it, but in the U.S, they're also charging people with murder for all the related overdoses. Fucking murder. That's 20 years or more. Fuck that. In my region of the country, they're setting up task forces specifically for fentanyl and its analogues. I personally say good riddance. Nothing against opiates, but fentanyl is just too potent. It's killing way too many people. 20k fentanyl deaths in 2016 compared to just 3.5k for heroin deaths in 2010 (pre-fent outbreak). Source.

All those deaths are shining a big bright light on every one of us. We'd be better off without that light & attention.

Good thing is that I don't think this fentanyl epidemic is going to last. It's all coming from China and the CPC doesn't fuck around when it comes to drugs, especially opiates. The producers keep changing things up in order to stay ahead of the law but I think that has a limited lifespan, they can only do that so much before either China ignores its own laws and goes after them anyways, or they run out of ways to synth something legal. I honestly think China's just going to get fed up and crack down hard. And that will be the end of the Chinese fentanyl export biz.

Get off your high horse. For some people with enormously high tolerance to opiates it's a lifesaver. The people who use it for malicious purposes (pressing fakes etc) get it shipped to them from China for bulk prices anyway and people who buy from markets buy it for personal use. This witchhunt for fent and it's analogues needs to stop.

Ban the shit. If i was in my addiction right now I would have probably ordered that shit and died. So greatful to be clean and sober.

Wow you have just tipped my curiousity on this. I just looked on some markets and its all over the place. Its a dam weapon! We dont need to put down that many elephants! SHIT!

I think it’s a bad idea to start banning things you don’t like based on media hype. This isn’t sears after all. .

There is no real carf left on the markets anyway so this discussion is pointless. Anybody claimijng to sell it right now is just ripping off stupid people. Precursors were banned in China so production is non-existent and all the stock that was left is long gone by now. Also I think it should be pointed out that carf is not as dangerous as people seem to think. It's actually about 20 times more potent than fent in humans not 100 times. And there are many hallucinogens that are easily attainable online that could do way more damage to people than carf. Dont let sensationalist journalism sway your opinion on something you know nothing about. People overdose on heroin every day, way more than fent or it's analogues all put together. And really pure heroin is dangerous if it gets into the wrong hands just like fent, but you don't see people trying to ban that from the markets. Crystal meth makes people psychotic. There are so many drugs out there that have major negative effects, if your going to ban one of them from the markets you should just go ahead and ban them all.

[2 Points] sdmfone:

Fentanyl should be banned if for no other reason because of the heat it's bringing to the markets. If you have an individual in your personal circle of friends that brings that type of heat would you ban them from the circle? Damn right, why should the markets be any different.

[1 Points] VietnameseBarnburner:

What are reasons to keep it? Is there a medical use for some people?
Do market admins give a shit what others think?

Btw, as a vendor I have gotten the out of the blue messages before of "Hey you sell bulk fentanyl?". Obvious LE. So they really are fishing for anyone who is even willing to sell it even if they clearly have no history of doing so. They obviously don't understand us saintly psychedelic vendors :-)
