GPJ Worries

Anyone ever had grandpajoe shipments take a while? I ordered last Friday, the order was accepted and finalized within a couple hours. We exchanged a message or two but I could not read them after making a stupid mistake with my pgp key pair. Last he wrote was just a simple plaint-text smiley after I told him thanks.

I trust that every review around here is probably not lying and GPJ is a veteran and trustworthy vendor, but i'm new to this and the wait is making me extremely anxious. I can't help but keep thinking "what if..." about everything. What it he accepted my money but forgot about me? A couple days after my order finalized he went into vacation mode. I assumed it probably shipped anyway, or I hope so! People make mistakes sometimes though.

Think the post office is just being slow? Can someone extinguish my worries? Thank you. :)

What kind of shipping did ya get? I feel ya man, sometimes it sucks. I wouldn't go into a panic just yet. Honestly our postal service kind of sucks. I'd give it until about Wednesday. Your always free to send him a message as he's always helpful. I've had packs take freaking along time before. You can always clean house if it makes ya feel better. It's the weekend anyways, and doing all your drugs before Monday might be just what you need to take your mind off it =)

I doubt he took your money and ran. GPJ is a stand-up guy and really doesn't take that long to process and ship normally. I guarantee that if it said it was shipped before he went into vacation mode, it was. I had one from him that took over two weeks while he was on vacation, but it wasn't his fault. When I finally got it, I checked the tracking and it had sat a sorting facility in my state for 4 days (absurd) before being sent back West where it sat for a couple days before it was finally sent to the actual destination. The best I could come up with was a shipping label being partially peeled off and unreadable by the automated scanners the postal service uses for all pieces of mail. I mentioned it to him and he said he had new labels, but it's still a possibility something of that nature happened. I would say it's more likely than him scamming you to simply be some screw-up in the system.

I don't know if it makes you feel much better, but he should be back in a week or so and will absolutely make it up to you if he somehow missed your order (which I've yet to see happen) so you won't be left with nothing. He's really one of the most honest people you could deal with on any DNM. Everything else I've gotten from him, except that one fluke order, has taken two days in transit. I messaged him in a similar frame of mind thinking he might have forgotten about me and the pack showed up before he got back from vacation mode to respond to me. I am confident you'll be taken care of, but sorry to hear about the bummer of a delay. He will make it right one way or another regardless of whether this pack shows or not.

Guy is a stand-up dude. He sent my order before he left for vacation knowing full-well I wouldn't have the coin until the day after he left on vacation mode, but he sent it ahead of time because of our past business on direct deals and all and it was here as I was transferring coin to send to him. That's a classy, trustworthy vendor. Keep us posted. I would be shocked if he didn't at the very least get you some extra sent out in a week or less when he is supposed to get back if it never does show. He's always hooked me up. That's why you don't see much shilling for him. He's just so genuinely professional that it's easy to brag on the guy and be very happy to deal with him. If it doesn't arrive in the next week or two let me know and I'll see if I can contact him directly since he hasn't been on market

I'm on vaca right now and don't have access to market and order info, if there are still probs send me a message on market or via email and I'll deal w/ it as soon as I get back (which won't be for about 2 weeks, sorry.)
