Using the Signal app

I know Signal is one of the best in terms of security, but what about anonymity? Since they require your phone number to register, can I sign up with say a google voice account and then now be totally untraceable?

And I know I should always use a burner phone but I don't have one atm to install this on, is it safe enough to use on my personal phone for the time being?

I like signal for calling but cheap throwaway flip phones are better, and face to face is the best

It's kinda impossible to be completely anonymous with a smart phone. Try to conduct as much as you can face to face, and then be willing to put all your trust in the other person wiping their inbox every time you text. (I mean you're already putting all your trust in them to not snitch as soon as things go ass up right?)

Also don't get a burner smart phone c'mon man? Get a flip phone you won't need to install signal you'll just have no links between the phone and your real identity.

pinger is better for phone numbers that cant b traced. also no need to use signal google allo incognito mode is the same + message self destruct timers
