Make Grams Yours!

Hello fellow darknet users, I (the owner of Grams) am in need of your feedback and suggestions. But first I quickly want to tell you all the Grams Birthday Doodle Contest. We are accepting "doodles" or Google type logo designs for the 1 year anniversary of Grams. The winner will receive 2 Bitcoins and their design will be the Grams' logo for the birthday week.
More info and details on how to submit your design can be found at our sub-reddit /r/grams

InfoDesk revamp.

Now on to why I am really posting. In the past week , since the EVO scam, the Grams' InfoDesk has been an invaluable tool to many of you for finding vendors and checking ratings and reviews from EVO. It worked pretty good for most of you but it can be better. I designed Grams to be a tool for you all. So I need to know how I can make it better. The vendor rating system I am using now doesn't seem to be the best. I am basing it off reviews from the markets, mixed with reviews posted to Grams. It is very complicated and I think it could be simplified. So I am asking you, the users, how do you think vendors should be rated or ranked. I am looking for the simplest way possible.
Here is some things I think would be good to rank them by but I need just one so it is a simple ranking system.

So let me know, what should Grams rank vendors by?

New Markets?

In light of alot of markets going down and a lot of new markets coming in. I wanted to ask you which markets should Grams be focusing our attention on to add to search results and infodesk? EVO was one of the markets that worked with Gram's by installing grams API to make it easy for their listings and vendors to be added and updated to the Grams' results. I like to think this is what helped make them the top market for a while. So now we are trying to find the next market/s we want to work closely with to ensure their data is linked well with grams. Please let us know in this post why or why not we should work with some of the new markets.

We are looking for your feedback, so please if you have an opinion post it in this post so that my staff and I know which direction to take to begin improving Grams.

As always stay safe out there,
GramsAdmin

Are you throwing away the "5/5 FE'd will update later" type reviews? That would go a long way towards giving an accurate ranking I would think.

Pick random vendors and have staff manually audit their ranking to see if your algorithms need tweaked.

Please let us know in this post why or why not we should work with some of the new markets.

User selectable filters to remove data from DNMs they aren't interested in. Default filters for 'Big 3 DNM's' 'DNM's older then 6 months' etc.

Grams seems like one of the smartest guys here, why dont you create the next market to add to grams? You also dont seem like a shitbag that would run off with peoples money.

[3 Points] theevoinsider:

Do you know why grams is poor at recording some vendors stats and great at others, for example 2 sellers both started the same day, both on the same site, both with 400 sales, one might show 400, the other 40 but with 400 reviews in the review section

[4 Points] None:

What about user ratings so after a migratiion like this I'm not called a noob or asked to fe when I've spent hundreds of btc on past markets...

[3 Points] young_k:

grams, how would you feel about offering a tumbler+escrow/multisig service for dnm's?

Hello how can I contact you about submitting the Grams art? I have many different themes I would love to show you guys. I was part of the hundreds of people scammed from Evo so winning this would help me so much. Thank you!

I'd say wait. If Agora had better uptime I'd say them, you could probably even help with their search function since it's fucking awful. Other than that I think it's too soon to tell. Evolution was arguably the the largest DNM and now there's a hole waiting to be filled where they once were. There are going to be a lot of new markets popping up in the next month or so which may offer better security/anonymity than any of the current markets.

Vendors should be ranked by:

  1. How long they have been vending, this is hard to fake and shows commitment. You may have to scrape old markets since alot of vendors go way back.

  2. Feedback, as other have mentioned filter keywords and phrases to remove spammy worthless feedback. "FE" "Will update"

  3. Number of sales, this can be easily faked, this should hold little weight.

Perhaps consider removing vendors who have not been on in 6 months or so.

[1 Points] BoxAddict:

I understand the interest in keeping vendor ratings simple but I think you need to use a metric that takes all of these factors into account. Maybe go by a points scale and average them all up at the end. Sure things will need weight as they are more valuable and can not be faked. Like a confirmed vendor activity date of 1 year is greater than someone with 3 months. It can get complex but I think if a list of factors is closed then there is a better likelyhood that an open forum could help you get a handle on the weighting system.

You say number of transactions and completed transactions could be choices. I think a ratio of completed to total number of transactions would be more indicative of reliability. Timeframe of vendor age could be a 0-5 rank with 5 being 1.5 years across multiple markets.

Also, this is personal preference but I think that the best vendor rating out there should not be given. We see the problem with vendor feedback where a 5 is the regular deal. Seriously a 3/5 should be a thumbs up, no communication needed, weight perfect, as advertised, 5-7 day domestic ship time, etc.

[1 Points] Str8b8m8ey:

An overall rating system that doesn't delete negative feedback at the vendors request.. Now you would be worth something because the tumbler is completely worthless.

Info desk is a great tool!

When are we going to see the grams market place?

[1 Points] Pvt_HarukoHaruhara:

Vendors should be based total orders received over total orders. This not only answers the stealth question to a degree but also if he is an legitimate vendor actually sending product.

As Rosy Palm said, as long as the update later stats I feel Grams will work tremendously better. I never see any reliable vendors at the tops of my searches. Most of them are vendors I never see on any forums for sure.

[1 Points] QLDGreat:

It'd be great if you had an option to browse by category, like most marketplaces have on the left side (i.e. Barbiturates, Benzos, Cannabis, Dissociatives, Ecstasy, Opioids etc., and the subcategories thereof). I do most of my browsing using these categories, and it should be fairly easy since most sites use the same categories.

Also, for some reason every time I try to search for '2-CB' or '2CB' I get an error.

[1 Points] QLDGreat:

I often find that the price of a product listed on Grams is different from the price on the actual marketplace listing. I'm guessing this is because Grams scrapes once daily and listings on say Agora are pegged to the US dollar, so can vary quite a bit as the BTC price changes throughout the day.

It'd be nice if the Grams listing prices could change with them. You'd have to record the BTC price when each listing was scraped, and then vary every listing based on the current price of coins.

[1 Points] bobcat124:

if i search for something like DOC no relevant results at all even though there are plenty listings on markets

[-1 Points] 0xb44d:

Just checked - you still haven't fixed the bug that allows all Helix transactions to be deanonymized. You're an amateur - please fuck off and stop placing this community at risk.
