Let's take a moment to appreciate how lucky we are

It's easy to get caught up in all the drama and excitement, or get pissed off about the scamming, but up until two weeks ago (when I got on suboxone...) I was having quality heroin delivered directly to my house on a weekly basis.

I didn't have to deal with any sketchy dealers who were trying to fuck me over, steal my money, sell me bunk shit, or take advantage of me.

I didn't have to risk arrest buying dope in a parking lot from a felon. No worries about walking into a sting.

I could get any drug I wanted. I had to wait a week, but any drug I could think of, from DMT to THC cartridges to cocaine, all delivered to me within a week, or sooner.

This is still almost unbelievable, and I've been doing it for four years now.

The DNMs are insane. Sure, every few months something happens; LE takedowns, exit scams, mysterious disappearances, etc. But overall, we are supremely blessed to have access to these markets.

I'm sure many of you know what it's like to cold cop or deal with IRL drug deals. It sucks.

So, in this time of instability and fear, let's take a moment to reflect on how awesome the DNMs are and how lucky we have it. Even if we get scammed periodically or have to deal with occasional bullshit, most of the time things are running smoothly, and we are getting schedule 1 & 2 substances hand delivered to us by the federal government.

My favorite DNM moment? That's a tie.

The second order I ever made was for three oxycodone 30mg pills from Silk Road. I ordered, and two days later went to the site to check on the status of my order only to find the infamous "site seized" image. My mind was blown because the day before I was talking with friends about how the government would never take down the Silk Road. And then they did. Lol. The drama that unfolded was the stuff of sci-fi novels, yet was happening IRL and I was a small part of it.

My order arrived the next day, three pharmaceutical roxies. (That was the good part, having my order land despite the chaos; SR getting taken down was very sad)

The second incident just happened. I was using an IRL dealer who had decent dope but I had to quit for reasons. I had ordered a gram of #3 that didn't arrive on time. I was dope sick and nervous that someone else (roommates, not my parents...don't order to your parents house, ya bums) would receive the delivery because I wasn't going to be at home that week. Fortunately, I had a few unexpected days off work and got my package the day before my sub appointment. I did enough to get well and feel good, then dumped the dope. But it was so nice to not be sick, not be caught, and have a rare type of heroin (for the western US) to send me off. And a bonus was that I got it right before TR exit scammed.

Keep ya chin up, homies.

Lol you jinxed the Silk Road takedown

We are lucky, sadly I have abused this power at far too young of an age and have caused myself a lot of problems due to my lack of self control and addictions.

Completely agree, but whats wrong with hoping for things to get better? I mean yeah we are actually apart of something that will have lasting effects on society for generations to come but that doesn't mean we should settle. If anything we should strive to make things more secure, to have less inter-community scams and drama.

Appreciate what we have but always strive for greater.

Fuck all this altruistic bullshit fella.

First, the comfort and obvious bias with which heroin addicts share their experience here is disconcerting as fuck. If I were to believe reddit, you can just hop on and off heroin at will - great for impressionable youngsters that want to be cool, right?

Second, generally speaking, vendors don't give a fuck about buyers beyond the extent of getting paid, and buyers don't give a fuck about vendors beyond getting their product - unless they'd like to continue on a recurring basis (still complete self interest).

There is no special or higher purpose to this. It is capitalism pure and simple.

Don't make it something it's not.

P.S While anti-government surveillance communities have overlapping interests, this is merely a testing ground for new concepts if anything, and they don't really give a shit about DNMs

I'm disappointed that TR closed out, but I only had the equiv of $2 in there, so no big.

I'll find another one...I had Zion earmarked as a good backup...

[2 Points] CloudDrop:

You name it! As a standard user you can make your own darknet experience pretty amazing by just following basic security tips. It's what made me never look back to my early days of buying shit from the streets.

[1 Points] CynicalElephant:

Is this sarcastic now that basically every market is shut down?

[1 Points] HODLLLLLLLLLL:

Perfect post to motivate LE even more.

Thanks

Not doubting The validity of Sub therapy, firm believer. Just seemed a little glorified and easy for me. I think the whole concept should come off as very difficult for curious onlookers, that's all. How'd you measure a strip into .06 out of curiosity? And every other day? And you're off completely?

[0 Points] None:

Yeah they are pretty awesome.
