so, a few months ago, i ordered a "test pack" of a certain type of contraband that i am planning on reselling in the future. The pack was domestic, which means USPS is not allowed to open the package without a warrant. However, when i got the pack, there appeared to be a hole in the corner, as if someone had poked or stabbed it with a sharp object.
I have had multiple non darknet contraband shippers tell me that although USPS can not open your package without a warrant, they are able to poke through the package if they find it suspicious, in the hopes of finding contraband residue.
Luckily, the contents of the package were in tin cans, and the hole was not even in the same part of the package the tins were located in. I would feel safe ordering from this dude again, knowing that the USPS poking device wouldnt be able to pumcture the tin, revealing any residue.
However, a few weeks later, I ordered a substantially more amount of this same substance from the same vendor. Luckily there were no poke marks in the package this time, but the contents were not hidden inside of anything. They were just wrapped up in cellaphane wrapping inside of a manilla folder once you opened the package up. Had a USPS person poked the package, there could be a possibility that residue would be left on their "tool", or that some of the baggie would just spill right out.
I was wondering if anyone could confirm or deny that it is possible for the USPS to do this, and if they can, could you elaborate on how exactly this process works?
