Ordered from SB on the 17th of march. After 15 days passes, I ask for tracking as instructed.
This is right around when he started having trouble providing tracking codes and people with orders up to 5400g were reporting non-arrivals.
Being in escrow, I immediately opened a ticket with support, who were very cordial at first.
However, when it got down to the brass tacks of receiving my escrow funds back, they started to stall and become inconsistent.
After giving him another week (after waiting two) after he was unable to provide tracking, I asked for my funds back.
The DHL rep told me to give it another 2 days to allow SB to respond on his own (before escalating the issue to admin), so I gave him three days and came back to yet ANOTHER message from SB dodging the issue of giving me tracking or when he would be able to. "Yes please, you are in my notes already" was my only response when querying about the current state of tracking.
Now DHL support is suddenly asking me to wait the 30 days it states on SB's profile before they escalate - oh really, I thought it was 2 days?!
Also, if a vendor has a widespread issue holding up any part of his end of the bargain, should I be forced to wait while he fixes his own logistical issues? Fuuuuuck no.
I refuse to adhere to a rule-set put down by a vendor if they cannot adhere to it themselves.
Don't spend money you can't afford to lose, I know. If I take an L on this, I will accept it. It will also shake my faith in an otherwise excellent market and the concept of escrow as a whole. I just want my money to not be tied up in Stealthbomber's fuck-off.
r/DNM, what's your opinion?
That really sucks. You have every right to be pissed the fuck off and every right to get your coin back.
