USPS Blocked me on TOR from tracking should I be worried

Vendor sent me a tracking number and idiot me I tried tracking it but I got access denied on the USPS website, I've read that this could flag the package and it could be seized. Although just rumors, should I be worried? I'm very new to this, used tails, PGP, everything to protect myself but I'm unsure if this error would compromise me.

UPDATE: So I'm gonna clean my stuff and keep it in my friends car and hide my tails USB and information in his car just in case, no vans or weird cars outside my house. I've seen this access denied when I searched over the internet and it apparently happens to everyone who uses TOR on the USPS website. USPS just blocks TOR traffic. All I found about anyone being arrested when using USPS tracking was a drug dealer who left a huge paper trail and it was an on going investigation. I doubt they care about a little package of weed lol.

Thanks for the help guys, will never try to track a package again, this left me very paranoid.

UPDATE 2: RECEIVED MY PACKAGE AND VERY HAPPY!

You shouldn't be using Tor to check tracking (as you now realise)! Use a proxy/vpn/third party instead.

I wouldn't worry too much though.

Real talk, clean your house just in case. That's a fairly big no no.

Use myusps. Once you sign up you never have to order a tracking number. Any package scanned and going to your address will appear in there. You can use that on your phone or computer. I never us vpn when checking that because any package from ebay, amazon or a friend, if scanned, it will appear in there for the most part. Never manually enter that tracking information because it shows you were well aware.

i was under the impression usps website blocks tor traffic...someone correct me if im wrong

We'll we've seen actual evidence of USPS using it as a way to flag packs are they actively doing it for all packages? Who knows.

You're good man don't stress

Unlikely that anything will be done about it

OP is the official offering of us to the feds to feed their thirst for the time being. we need more of them so the feds can meet their needed numbers and we can stay safe.

I'd say you'll likely be fine but you should probably avoid doing that in the future. Have you tried the tracking number using a proxy yet? Are you unable to access it still?

[2 Points] oasisama:

did you get to entering the tracking number?

[2 Points] DecryptedTruth:

It is indeed a redflag but I imagine, even if it triggered some unwanted attention, LE won't be able to move on it so fast. So if it was a personal ammount, I wouldn't worry to much but do consider your drop possibly flagged.

Public WiFi + VPN ahould do just fine in the future.

[2 Points] Theeconomist1:

You might be overreacting. You just tried to go to usps site and it blocked you right? That would mean you couldn't even enter the tracking number, so they have no clue and can't associate a package with the usage of Tor. Now if they allowed you to enter the tracking number THEN blocked you, that's a little different. But if that's not the case, they wouldn't have anything to associate at all, unless I'm missing something. I think you are fine.

Now back in the day when USPS didn't block TOR, there was speculation that using the site back then (when you could over TOR) could flag a package - but the key here is that you could use the site and enter a tracking number.

[2 Points] OpOnymousSurvivor:

USPS didn't block you personally they blocked the Tor traffic..

use a VPN or public wifi

[1 Points] BongWeedsly:

That's a pretty big red flag for them, usps knows what tor is and block it. Clean house just in case.

Is it safe to use tails ?

Hello, you can not just rely on the USPS official website to track your packages, there are many third party package tracking tool. And one of the most best package tracking tool is https://www.trackingmore.com/. The site speed of it is very quick, so i can get a better tracking experience every time i track my package.
