OpSec Question. Non PGP addy, once..

So I sent a vendor my address, i haven't used it on that site or any other site, can i continue to use this address?

How ilkely is it if i slipped up only this once, that it can be found. And/or is this 100% burned?? :( damnit.

As long as the site itself doesn't get busted or hacked, you should be alright.

That's all that can be said.

And even then, unless you're getting serious weight, I doubt any investigation would come of it.

First, delete that message when you can. Either ask the vendor to wipe it, or delete it yourself. Second, this is an opsec breach, as you've recognized, and a pretty serious one. That said, as was mentioned before, as long as the feds don't find and image the server of whatever market you used, the only one who should be able to see that is you, the vendor and the site admins. The admins probably don't care. BUT, if, in the future, you go on that site and see one of those "this hidden site has been seized by alphabet soup agency," you should consider that address burned for a good long while. Keep a clean house in case the feds decide to come talk to you. Remember, they pick the low hanging fruit, and PGP encrypted addresses are most certainly not low hanging. Try not to do this ever again. Good luck. I hope nothing comes of it.
