I am in quite a unique situation. I ordered from HF (second time ever, first time didnt get confirmed before BB exit scammed so i was fucked) and I know hes a notoriously slow shipper so I wasnt concerned when nothing landed after 8. 9. 10 days. Day 11 comes and I get a call from the post office that I have a package from XYZ company(not real name) and I need to come claim it. I said I wasnt expecting anything so I didnt want to come claim it. They were being very persistent and I just hung up. I messaged HF and asked what to do and I got no answer. Today they called again, different employee, same stuff "Hey we have this package from XYZ blahblahblah" and I just said no and hung up. I am definitely not going to go to the post office and Im considering my address burned, but what should I do about HF? He hasnt answered me and I didnt FE so I can still start a resolution, but i dont want it to come to that if it doesnt have to.
TL;DR: Pack didnt land for 10 days, 11th day its at post office and I get called to go get it I refuse and alert HF and ask what to do. No response. Next day (today) they call again and I refuse again. Not sure what to do, dont want to jump the gun and blame HF for negligence so im looking for advice.
Sorry about the wall of text, and any and all input would be much appreciated. Thanks in advace :)
UPDATE EDIT: So after talking with HF and he checked the tracking it says the pack was delivered 7/18....something isnt right here, but im still not going to claim that pack at the post office....if anything notable happens ill make an update post.
How'd they get your phone number?? That's what I'd be curious about. Not sure how to interpret that. On the one hand, LE would have no problem finding out your number. On the other hand, was this a PO Box and you provided a number? Was it for pickup at your normal post office? If it was a non-PO box delivery you should ask them to just deliver it. I'm guessing though this has to be a PONBox and it's too big to fit? Otherwise it's weird. Depending on how you answered that would be how likely there is a problem - although a problem is usually unlikely. Normally I say don't let it return to sender but it's all dependent upon the situation.
Has HF replied? He needs to check tracking to see wtf it says. If the tracking shows no problems and it wasn't delivered bC you refused, there may not be a refund. Obviously if it's LE involvement it's a different story. Hopefully you e cleaned house. If it is seized or a CD they may not let it go that easily. Anyway it's hard to tell.
