[OPSEC/Computer] RE: SR2's use of a "vendor-only url"

So I remember being on SR2 sending an inquiry to xanaxking. He responded very shady like telling me to go to a URL, and not to tell anyone because its a vendor only link. I had a weird feeling about it, so I didnt order with him. Since it was weird I posted on the SR forums, but then I just went away and never followed up with the thread.

Maybe a month or two later I read how xanaxking was busted. I figured it was a phishing link, maybe to like steal my bitcoins or something. Now it sounds more serious than that right? So it was actually the feds trying to find my real IP or something?

To be clear, I DID go to the link. It looked just like SR2 login, I just never logged in under the URL

Sorry Im just trying to understand this

Was it a link or the vendor url? If it was the url he would have gave you a user name and password to login I assume?

Have you bothered reading the complaint? He's been f...ked because of everything but the vendor-URL from SR2.

That URL was just a way for vendors to log on and do their business, while the "usual" one is getting spammed with thousands of requests/DDoS'd.

Agora has one, too. Not sure about Evo tho, as they're having a good contingency-plan with many URLs.

Were you buying a lot from him?

No. There was a legitimate vendor only link
