This happened a few weeks ago when I placed an order from a country known for selling pharms. This was a legit vendor, I'd used them in the past with no issues. Now I know all about love letters, and all that stuff. I had orders that went through no problem that were only seperated by a week or one even made after the initial order. Those showed up no problem on time.
So my one package wasn't for a large amount of pills, a small order really. I saw that it had gotten held up in customs, but that generally happens for a short time and then it is released. Well nope, not in this case, as the weeks went by it was still stuck in customs. I figured hey you know, its obviously got siezed big deal it happens. I'm expecting a love letter because this was only for a S IV drug, and not a hugely popular one compared to say xanax or something.
Well what do you know, all the sudden I check the tracking one last time and it passes customs. This is weeks later. It shows up at my drop, with no signature (Which is strange every prior package from this vendor req a sig.) It's clearly been opened and US Custom & Border control tape has resealed it. Ofc I'm not going to open that, even though the way it went down totally goes against CD procedure. So it sits there for a couple of weeks, nothing happens. I decide to open it, there is no device to see if I opened it or anything of the sort but they clearly opened it up and inspected it. They opened up one of the blisters and broke off a chunk of the pill. They had to have tested it for illicit substances.
But what I don't fucking get is why did they go to all this trouble? Why still send me the package when what it was normally would be a siezure letter. I'm obviously not ordering shit for a long time, but I never ordered anything sizable int and that was maybe 6 int order in 5 years. Obviously I've cleaned how etc, but I wanted to get your guys take on it.
I honestly think because of this fent shit going on that they are increasing heavily ALL orders through the mail. It's sad to see, I've been ordering unique stuff for over a decade now and all these stupid fuckers who order analog fent opiates just to sell them as OC's and shit. A close friend just died 3 weeks ago because of the pills being cut with fent.
My guess would be each seizure = a nontrivial amount of time/paperwork/resources. While they could seize it, Customs has a set operating budget and performance targets too, and efficiency metrics and management and that bullshit you'd see in a corporation... so they don't seize the low priority items, even tho it is a regulated schedule 4 medication like alprazolam. At the same time, they can't just keep the package or throw it away (without officially initiating a seizure), so they just repack it and send it along to the intended recipient.
That's my theory anyway, based on unjustified assumptions made without any particular insight, except a little experience with general government bureaucracy.
