Lets talk about Economical Marriages and the Darknet.

This is something that hasn't been brought up before but certainly belongs in the Darkmarket category. I firstly stumbled upon the concept in its online version in the /r/iwantout subreddit where people started making proposals, but the topic was banned rather quickly. An economical marriage basically is an arrangement between two adults to marry each other solely to get a work visa, green card or a citizenship in exchange for money, sex or companionship. Usually this arrangement lasts anywhere from 2-5 years, sometimes longer or not at all. In the European African community you see this a lot, well off africans pay European Africans anywhere from €5k- €20k for these arrangements. And usually there is no harm done (other than economically), you can't compare this to the sex trade and the people in the arrangement usually aren't exploited.

Now I'd like to get this ball rolling, I think a "covert" dating site for arrangements like these is something the Darknet could benefit from. Looking at Syria, Libya and other formerly well off countries I wouldn't mind to help some college educated individuals be able to relocate themselves or their families to a first world country over a long term period. There are already so much illegal immigrants swarming to these better of countries without perspective or future that something like this would barely even make a dent in the system. I'm not sure how to get this started but I just wanted to push this idea into the community.

If there already a place for this please point me towards it! Thanks for reading, stay safe.

This is a great idea. I'm originally from South Florida and this was widely known as a possibility for income. The only downfall I seen was the abuse and treatment of the person seeking citizenship. This didn't happen to frequently but the safety check to it seemed to the be the person's family who did live locally or nearby.

Being on the darknet I see no way to vet the people who would be interested. You would have to find a way to verify the person and do some kind of safety checks lest the poor person coming to the destination country be forced into an abusive relationship or even worse, prostitution.

sounds like a legit idea, I wouldent mind learning about another country from a chick

I forgot to include studying as a reason to relocate. In Europe there are a lot of countries where college is almost free, which could even be a reason for people in first world countries to relocate themselves through such an agreement and later move back to their home country with a degree and no debts to their name.

Where do darknet marketplaces come into this? You can't send immigrants through the mail. Both you and the customer need to physically be there at the government office to get married. No point using anonymous networks like tor, i2p or bitcoin you'll be trivially deanonymized. LE simply responds to your advert, arranges a meetup and arrests you.

Depending on the country you get interviewed along with your customer by someone from the government to check for fraud. They might ask you personal questions about your customer which you have to answer, so there's an element of studying for an exam here.

If they're paying you by bank transfer the government will probably see, so bitcoin might useful for that. But they could just pay you cash in person.

I think a market better suited to this kind of thing is the selling of fake government documents that allow illegal immigrants to work.
