[GeneralQuestions] PO Box, what can and can't I receive?

Opened a PO box, obviously no problems with domestic orders as they are all coming through USPS, but if I potentially want to go international can I receive mail from say Germany? Or is it only USPS? I tried googling and searching the sub for this but I haven't seen a definitive answer. The USPS website just mentions stuff about shipping out internationally, not receiving. If this is a total noob question im sorry for bugging everyone.

you should be able to get anything that is ultimately delivered by the USPS. if it's larger than the box, they will store it safely nearby leaving a note in your box telling you to pick it up.

the restictions i know only occur because it's not a physical street address. this means packages delivered by other entities (like UPS) can't be left and stored there. those must be sent to physical addresses (FedEx smartpost should arrive though since it's delivered by the USPS ultimately).

now the post office has branced out and many places you can use the building's street address in order to receive packages from other deliverery services, but you have to pay an extra fee.

Generally speaking you can get anything. It's just a regular address. Unless your place has some weird stipulation. Just ask them.
