Hello,
After more than 30 days my order on Dream Market didn't arrive so a dispute was auto-opened on it. The vendor said he wanted to do either a 25% refund or a 50% resend, but per his TOS i was entitled to a 100% reship or 50% refund.
We both agreed on a 80% reship because I didn't mind and I understand it's most likely not his fault. He has always been upstanding and the products were good every time.
So he said he would do that but 12 hours or so later the moderator in charge of the dispute said it was "too old" and he immediately refunded 50%.
I still have no news about whether the stuff was shipped already (which would be a pain in the ass for the vendor) or not (which would mean i have lost money too because I got 50% instead of 80...)
Is it normal? Is there any kind of appeal possible? I feel like there is no reason for DM to prevent a compromise deal of this sort which would have left both party somewhat happy. :/
update : I got an answer from support who just says the order is too old, and basically that I can go fuck myself (in polite terms though).
Last time I order on Dream market. Coming in between a deal which made everyone somewhat happy for some obscure "too old" rule is really scummy.
