How bad did I just fuck up?

Ok so I just sent my address in plain text through a popular market. Fuck. I was typing it in the message box to copy it. I typed, copied, signed and encrypted. Then hit send. Yep. Forgot to paste the PGP message on top or plain text address and sent. FML. Contacted support and asked for my messages to be deleted but no response yet.

Am I fucked? Now admins have my address? Now my address is on server in plaintext? (Hackers / LE) The popo are going to kick my door in tonight? Tomorrow?

Since the gov has your info now they are going to give you two choices; go to prison for life over a personal amount or allow them to use that info to sign you up for Obamacare.

I did that once. I copied and pasted my shipping info from gpg to agora, but was too high to notice I didn't hit encrypt. It was wiped as soon as he shipped it so it wasn't a big deal, but the vendor probably thought I'm a fucking idiot... well, I guess he's not wrong.

Oh lord, I wish I could play the guitar but I spent 8 hours taking it apart and now she is broke..

You're fucked, LE has all of your information by now and it's only a matter of time before teams of SWAT knock down your door and raid your house. My advice is to burn your computer, clothes, and any pets you have and buy a one way ticket to Belieze ASAP. Good luck OP.

you'll be fine dude. you seriously think they give a fuck about some 20-100usd dollar order..whatever it is and if it was just a single time. all good man. smoke some weed and relax.

[4 Points] Duderino420:

You better clean house man. Gather everything together and burn it all in your backyard

Don't let it happen again, I'm not the most tech savvy but I'm pretty sure that info is going to be saved on their server forever. Just hope & pray that marketplace doesn't get seized or hacked.

[3 Points] throwawayperon:

Back in the sr1 days I never encrypted my address, but I was only messing with personal amounts back then

[2 Points] Axaq:

The data will be cleared with the order, if it's Agora you have the option to wipe messages and orders too.

It will only affect you if your order was a huge bulk order realistically, if the server was ever seized then there are literally millions of messages that LE would have to go through to find specific info, they are more likely to sift through buyers who made very large orders. Just don't let it happen again and calm down, it's not the worst thing that could happen.

Bro,chill ...im not gonna say its 100% OK but, it prolly is...I did it once over a year ago and I'm still here ...Most people here will prolly tell you the same, that is, Dont make a habit of not encrypting but, once i wouldn't burn down the house and move to Belize just yet

[2 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

Don't be daft

[2 Points] wildweeds:

you should do stuff like that in a notepad app and then paste it in later.

[1 Points] OleGravyPacket:

Related questio: On Alphabay when you message a vendor there's the option to type in plaintext and click a check box to encrypt it with the vendor's pgp key. Is that safe to use?

First off, what did you buy? second off, no one is kicking down your door.

Think about this logically, whats to stop someone from entering in an address of someone they don't like, all in clear text. Nothing. Which means if you wanted your friend, or foes house to get raided all you had to do was submit their address on a DNM order in clear text?

LE agencies work their fucking assess off to get a simple house warrant. Lots of paper work is involved with this. Its not an easy thing to do. If having your address being submitted through a DNM in clear text was all that is needed for a house search warrant, then LE would be purposely be using this tactic (Anonymously submitting a suspects house address on a DNM in clear text) to obtain search warrant.
