Could using credit cards to purchase Bitcoins get you in trouble?

I don't see this being a problem if you're not getting bulk or a drug dealer but if you buy a lb of weed and then again next week using a credit card can't that cause issues? I feel like they would raise questions like how do you pay for that if you don't have the income?

It can't get you in "trouble" because buying BTC is not illegal. Almost every time I've tried to purchase BTC with my credit card (it's a Mastercard) the transaction ends up not going through and they lock the card for possible fraudulent activity. They then call the next day to speak to me and to confirm that the transaction were made by me.

If you're buying BTC with a credit card, USE VISA OR AMEX.

Oh, and if you use Coin.mx, you're getting ripped off big time. If you have a Visa credit card, just use Coinbase and you can buy upto $100 worth of BTC instantly per day.

No, it won't get you in trouble. Bitcoins are not illegal. The reason why it's not a good idea to purchase bitcoins with your credit card is the fact it can expose your identity and if you could easily charge back depending on the service you use.
