Here's a shout out to the Agora team, whoever they are, wherever they are, for doing what they do, and for doing it so damn well. They're asses are on the line, and so are the vendors and the buyers. I'd donate to them if I could but I think they probably do okay.
Serioulsy though, they must've agonized over this decision. For them to take the bold step for the sake of everyon'e OPSEC (their's notwithstanding) of suspending operations for [who knows how long] is a pain I think everyone is more than willing to endure. Yes its a major inconvenience for vendors and users alike, but hey, who knows, maybe some people will even get clean during this period! (I don't include myself in that of course, that is unless they're down too long and I can't find a connect outside of Ag)
Anyway, for real though - BIG shout out to the Ag team for their hard work. I can't imagine what they must have to contend with on a daily basis for OPSEC, in addition to supporting buyers and sellers alike. They must have balls made of solid iron.
With all that said, does anyone have a sense for how long they'll be down, and specifically when they will suspend operations? They were pretty opaque about this, intentionally Im sure that was intentional, so not sure anyone will have any information beyond conjecture.
Hell yes, thank you Agora team for letting us all live a little more freely and sending a big fuck you to LE and their overlords of govs all over who think they can control us. Best of luck with your changes and come back soon!
