The researchers noted that online transactions were dominated by "drugs typically associated with recreational or 'party' use" - such as cannabis and ecstasy.

Dammit, why do people keep trying to enjoy themselves!

the UK spearheaded the click.drugs.door lifestyle with all their RC suppliers. Shit was so easy, clearnet no problem.

I feel that this should be in /r/BritishSuccess

We've had the highest % of drugs purchased online for a few years now. The main reason for this is because we have 60 million people in a relatively small geographical area, so our post is usually next-day delivery.

I can receive an order from a customer at 4PM, and guarantee that it will arrive before 9 O'clock the next morning anywhere in England, Wales, Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Another reason is the terrible quality of our street cocaine, 25% on a very good day. This meant that mephedrone became very popular by mail order.

Fast postman crap coke. Also no surprise is that online sales account for much less than 1% of total drugs purchased but this should increase until eventually online sales dominate. Once you've seen that first page with square photos of every drug you can imagine, and that exciting envelope arrives, you will never go back.

The study says that heroin is under-purchased online because if a heroin addict gets a laptop they sell it at cash converters. Meth is a very new phenomenon in the UK, so its one of the first "online" drugs like mephedrone, and we still have an opportunity to shape people's thinking about it. The online and offline customer bases are completely different, because I never thought I would have a male customer who wasn't Thai.

Online, nearly all meth customers are men. Some have a Thai wife, but the core user group is paid in cash, for sex. Many Thai escorts never even get a bank account let alone source cryptocurrency.

At the weekend the last thing they would want to see is another cock, for free, so they don't go clubbing. They smoke num kang and play cards for days, only stopping when they have a customer and returning immediately to the game 30 minutes later. The "john" is forgotten within a minute of restarting the game. I've spent many hundreds of hours sitting cross legged holding cards, being careful not to show the soles of my feet and not understanding why I'm winning or losing at cards. I know that /u/Hank_Vendor still does. Thai women really know how to use meth, and UK meth culture is more influenced by Thailand than "Breaking Bad".

But there is one "John" who will never be forgotten https://youtu.be/KnnHprUGKF0

Congratz, finally a win for the Brits. :)

Wonder how that will go when Brexit is completed and parcels then need to be checked for tax purposes also and not just drugs. :/

Stimulants - 18%

Ecstasy-type drugs - 12%

assuming by "ecstasy" they mean presses with MDMA and methylone/amphetamine, how does that not come under "stimulants"? which one does crystal MDMA count as?

[1 Points] CocaineNose:

wouldn't the biggest reason be that they speak English which is what 99% of DNM are in?
