Might be a dumb question! But why do some don't and some do?
Why don't some vendors give out tracking?

Because idiots will check the tracking through tor which can get a package flagged/intercepted.

I would imagine it would be easier to profile there packs. Also unless you pay for a tracking number you don't get one (at least that's the way the Canadian Post works)

Why do you even want tracking is the question. It adds more liability.

If LE were to order a high-volume item, they'd use that tracking to profile and intercept that batch of shipments.

Is that really the only reason!

I love tracking. It makes me so happy to know when my pack is landing :)
But it is an OPSEC flaw that can ruin plausible deniability

sign up for MyUSPS and wait a week or so, youll never need tracking again

Opsec. It adds one more liability to vendors.
