If I buy afghan heroin is there a possibility that I'm supporting the taliban? Is there a way around this or am I going to be supporting burmese/afghan warlords wherever I take my money?

I've never bought heroin but I'm curious. That would be absurd if the US is funding the organizations that it wants to eradicate

What do you think guys, should I redpill this guy right here? I don't think he's ready for it.

You could buy tar and support Mexican narco cartels?

[13 Points] FrozenMCVegetableCok:

You're eventually putting a small amount of money into n individual farmer's pocket in the case of Afghanistan.

When I was there the flow of cash usually went Local warlord (may or not be Taliban)>deputies to go out and collect what's produced by the farmers> tiny bit of cash/goods given to the farmer.

The murky part is who gets the drugs out of the area and into the markets. In Afghanistan, the C.I.A. has had a longstanding relationship with the traffickers to help keep the slush funds full. It was convoluted enough that Prezident Kharzai's brother was the biggest exporter of heroin while his brother was president.

[9 Points] y_s_l_:

For heroin you're basically going to have to support some sort of evil syndicate. Afghan heroin is almost definitely benefiting the Taliban, but if you go for other H (in the US at least) you're going to be supporting some Mexican cartel.

There's not really "fair trade" heroin.

although expensive, I support my pal Big Pharma

Taliban had the poppy crops to an all time low. Usa took over, crops at all time high. Hmmmmmmmmm

[4 Points] None:

Its a known fact the the U.S. government has let its allies bring their heroin into the states to sell it, how else can the buy more weapons & shit to continue the war. Look up Iran-Contra & you will see how it all works.

[6 Points] None:

If you live in the US and are not evading IRS taxes, you are supporting the taliban.

[3 Points] None:

Lol bruh US soilders are ordered to protect Afgan Poppy pod fields/farms

[3 Points] None:

I doubt it would be the taliban. I don't doubt some extremist outfit profits. When the taliban took over Afghanistan, opium production went to historic lows bc they aren't about drugs. When the us invaded, it once again became a booming industry

the plight of the honeybee. nothing is removed from anything. everything touches everything. cross-culturalization, cross contamination. the ripple in the pond.

Grow your own poppy field in Hometown,USA. that would be truly DOMESTIC heroin.

[1 Points] trackingpacks:

its very possible a war or two has been connected with powerful products/drugs

[1 Points] The-Master-Lurker:

You mean the taliban that's supported by the United States of America?

Of course you are. But don't worry that money comes back to us, tax free.

[1 Points] jtemps92:

Man, it would SUCK if the US (or the UK for the matter) funded terrorist organisation wouldn't it... I mean, how dumb would that be....

[1 Points] god_send:

Wow I would've never thought of this!

Honestly all I would be thinking about is "Am I about to try H?".

Holy fuck.

[1 Points] nobraina:

its ok it will be the cia you are funding. the taliban hate the H and burn it. why do you think the us invaded? it was to stop them destroying it

[1 Points] PushTheEnvelopiate:

Unfortunately any drug you buy supports something evil, whether the taliban, drug cartels, corrupt governments, gangs, or big pharma. If you want to be guilt free, safest bet is weed. Could still support same stuff, but might not.

[1 Points] likeapowerstrip:

The overwhelmingly vast majority of the Heroin in the U.S. comes from Mexico (tar) and Colombia (ecp). Though Mexico is stepping up its powder game lately.

The mideast supplies Europe with a large portion making its way into Russia. You think they're cooking up two different batches over there? Ok let's whip up some #3 for these guys then after that we'll bust out some #4 for the west..

[1 Points] None:

Eh dont worry, either way, the taliban never did anything to much, you shouldn't even be worrying about supporting al queda because Bush did 9/11 http://imgur.com/2h4zpfs
