Why are people so paranoid?

I've just been quickly looking through some of the latest posts and it seems so many people are paranoid about ordering to their real address.

I mean I can see why, but wouldn't a legit response to LE be 'It wasn't me' I can see it totally being feasible that an enemy of yours would totally order drugs to your address in hope of getting you fucked. So surely they can't arrest and jail you on just finding that drugs have been sent to your address under your name.

I'm talking about small personal use amounts, as well as having your PC or whatever device you used for ordering being extremely clean and showing no use of any dark web traces etc. I'm almost certain they'd believe that someone else ordered it trying to get you into trouble. What do you guys think?

People are paranoid because they are ordering illegal drugs online, you should understand the risks and why people SHOULD be paranoid.

"It wasn't me" only goes so far. For that to really work, you have to have tight opsec (I know everybody here says they do, but how many people really do??) and be absolutely spotless when it comes to them collecting any evidence around your home - if they find so much as a joint roach when they do their cursory search, your plausible deniability is basically out the window.

All your gonna get a bunch of paranoid answers

They would let a few packs through so they can build a case and if it's your name on the packs you can't really deny it.

I was sure they 'confiscate' packages which are illegal and then 'dispose' of them, and even if they let them through to build a case. Wouldn't you have to be a retard to not see that the package had been opened or tampered with and stop ordering?
