Should I be worried

So once hansa went down about 1-2 weeks ago a vendor sent me a letter to my address saying something along the lines "hello I am ********** and since hansa went down this is the only way we can deal dont worry I have your address but its deeply encrypted please contact me at ******@******.com for further information"

Aint gonna lie my heart fucking dropped

So im fucking a bit worried since this vendor got my address but nothing bad has happened yet so i emailed him asking if this is the guy selling the ******** and he says yes and since the markets closed down the product is much more cheaper since there is no transaction fee. I said ok thanks for telling me. So this vendor got my address with him and like I said nothing fucked up happened in that time but I'm worried if he gets compromised what if he tells le my address? What do I do? Please help

Name the vendor. He definitely crossed the line by not only saving your address but physically mailing you something with that type of information inside. I probably wouldn't even have responded to him as you can't be certain if it is the vendor or possibly LE.

If you're worried then I'd suggest that you stop ordering for a while and clean house of substances, parapharnelia, and digital traces of your activities - take a break. If possible, move somewhere else at your earliest convenience.

name vendor

The vendor may have good intentions and have things encrypted. But when it comes down to it they are just trying to make $$$. Keeping your address and mailing you something doesn't seem cool though. I don't know if you should name them but that's up to you.

Well that is just fucked up

He probably has best intentions at heart, and probably has it encrypted for his own safety...but my vendors always states that addresses were dev nulled after feedback. Its wrong, but worst case scenario its LE trying to bait you cause they need probable cause, or his computer gets siezed while its unencrypted and they wont even have probable cause anyway.

What an asshole... avoid, avoid, avoid

[2 Points] None:

He had good intentions, but little does he know nobody wants their addresses saved by their vendors. PERIOD.

So, I hope that if I were in your shoes, I would look out for the community and not be too fuded out to be looking out for the vendor. Please do name them

I've had a couple vendors keep my address I only know this because they randomly sent me a pack that I hadn't ordered after a good amount of time from the first order. The weirdest one though was one sent a pack to me then immediately went on vacation and but never came back to vend. I even messaged them offering coin if it was a mistake but they must have been gone by then
