Will you use Monero?

I find it little hard to get traction if there are isn't even a GUI wallet.

Why not? It's good alternative to bitcoin.

I will

Reason me and Yamaha (as vendors) not accepting XMR (yet) is because of the huge fluctuations. Selling drugs for XMR right now is not a business, it's a gamble.

We recently started selling pre-ban MXE and had about 4k in escrow when bitcoin decreased 13% in price, thats a lot of money lost for a small vendor. Now imagine that type of stuff happening with XMR, 100% fluctuations every once in a while. Bitcoin is finally pretty stable, we have no reason to switch.

I would like an alternative

Buying bitcoin, at least where a live, is not untreacable at all. Every website selling bitcoin requires a selfie of you holding your id, a detailed photo of your id, a photo of any bill to confirm your address. I don`t feel confortable doing that AT ALL.

I still buy my bitcoins obviously but I get super fucking paranoid that the website has my photo holding an my id linked to that bitcoin purchase.

It`s impossible to buy bitcoin any other way.

There is an online wallet mymonero.com

While having coins online is not the safest thing to do, the software wallet can be installed easily too.

I don't see this to be a problem

gui is coming

[2 Points] noonehear:

OMG NO GUI?? How for do anybody of you use it? I NEED BUTTONS TO PRESS. Please make the ones I shouldn't press red.

[1 Points] drugsnboobs:

Maybe end users don't like it, but it's a huge boost in security for vendors and markets, so I imagine they'll be trying to encourage it in various ways.

Nah

Would I like to get paid in an altcoin with huge price fluctuations without having any benefit over Bitcoin?

No of-course not. xD

Monero is just being pumped over here by some guys that are heavily invested.

Bitcoin is perfect. I don't see any reason to accept an altcoin that has an unstable price. :)
