Just curious on what pgp keys are and how they work. Like if someone gives you a pgp key how do I contact them through there?

Not sure if you are looking at a "how to" or just a basic explanation as to what it is. PGP consist of 2 keys, a public and private key. You give out the public key freely and others can use this public key along with software to encrypt a message that only you, the holder of the private key, can decrypt. Also, someone can "sign" a message with their private key to verify they are who they are claiming to be. People can use that person's public key along with the message to validate it. For instance, if a vendor sends you a sketchy message, you can requeest they sign the message with their key and you can use the public key to verify they are who they claim to be - or at least that they have access to the private key.

How you worded your message, not sure if you literally meant it, but you don't contact people "through there" in the sense that its not a messagin platform itself. If you plan on using the DNMs, learn to love PGP. Don't even think about using any market w/o understanding PGP.
