Reddit's New privacy privacy policy

So um, we still cool with Reddit once the new PP kicks in [Jan.1(https://www.reddit.com/help/privacypolicy)]?

The way I read it, you've got to be extra careful to use a VPN and a throwaway just to browse?

Nothing has changed from an opsec perspective. If you're using this sub to discuss illegal activity that you participate in, either don't or use a condom. Always been like that.

[2 Points] TheMarketNovice:

I don't really see a problem. Yes, they are going to log IPs, but I think you have to be pretty naive to believe they wouldn't start doing that. Either way, it should be essential OPSEC to use VPN/Tor to browse to begin with.

What's new??

The cookies are what bothers me the most. Those things can be super sneaky. I'm wiping all my shit tonight and getting a new computer.
We need a tor-based forum to do this shit on, we can't rely on reddit any longer. They can turn on us, and they will. The hub?

fuck I have already said many things on this account but only have ever logged in through tor not even once on the normal internet. I guess Ill finally get a new throwaway I just like keeping account for a decent amount of time maybe a month or 2 at most because people take you more serious when you have content and previous posts.

Compared to whenever I see a reveiw for a new vendor that has zero previous history, Im like umm yeah okay imm just going to ignore all of that. And I like helping out new vendors and reviewing them.

I miss when I was in college and could use the schools IP address and log in as a "guest". That was some of the easiest way to be stealth. Can anyone tell me some pitfalls of that tho theres gotta be some right. like I know if I were to sign in with user name and password in schools wifi would be bad but could a library or school or coffeshop ever figure out which competer the traffic is coming from with tor or without tor even for that matter?

Please i am very interested in this topic?

If I would of ever been a vendor it would of been then. I could even sign into the schools wifi from in my living as one of the schools random buildings for only a few classes was next to my house. So if I vended I could of honestly been able to be online 24/7 very easily in a pretty safe way. Tor did work on my schools wifi as a guess but like I said is there anyway to find out where its coming from and find my computer from the school or worse anyone higher up?????

PLease??
