Just about to start making purchases but Bitcoin Core had 30GB+ of downloads so i switched to MultiBit but can this be used on the deepweb or do i need to switch wallet again? Probably a stupid question but i just need an answer.
Is Multibit safe to use?

Please, please, please just use Tails and its bundled Electrum wallet. "Light" or SPV wallets like MultiBit, Electrum, etc. are an extremely dangerous threat to anonymity and the privacy of your coins, and it is absolutely essential if using any non-full-node Bitcoin client that any wallet it uses has only ever been online via Tor, even for every split-second. Even using Tor and non-Tor wallets in the same client can cause permanent cross-contamination very easily if the software is not configured and used very carefully. And this is actually very difficult to ensure for most people, even experts. More info here: https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/3353ae/opseccomputer_folks_gotta_stop_saying_use/
