[GeneralQuestions] Feeling a bit paranoid about a notice from the post office

Just to start off, I'm from the uk so American laws and post services don't really apply. I ordered a g of mdma a while ago and it hasn't shown up, then on saturday I got a notice saying that the post man hadn't been able to deliver a package for me because it was too big to fit through my letterbox and that I have to go to the local depot to pick it up. I'm a bit worried that it had been flagged, and they want to watch me pick it up then bust me for possession once I have it on me. Is this an unreasonable fear? Not sure what to do.

CD's are literally unheard of in the UK, I don't think it is something that Police practice at all and you shouldn't have anything to worry about. It likely is a truthful letter, stop your paranoia and go grab your drugs :) no way are they going to stake out a post office waiting for you when you could potentially leave it for days or weeks to pick it up.

Think of it like this mate, do you really think with all these budget cuts the UK would authorise police to sit and watch a post office all day for its complete opening hours 6 days a week? Do you know how much that would cost?? And the resources required? Rather than having police on the streets?

And for what? A gram of MDMA? A simple possession charge? IF THAT, some people are honestly too paranoid sometimes, they are not out there to do small things like this, they want asset seizures, they want the big boys, the money, a real case. Not some lad and his poor little g of MD. :(
