You need to copy the PyBitmessage folder from /home/amnesia/.config if you want to save your messages/addresses after shutdowns. You can do this:
$ cp ~/.config/PyBitmessage ~/Persistent/
After a new startup do:
$ cp ~/Persistent/PyBitmessage ~/.config/
Without doing this Tails will wipe this data.
At the risk of sounding like an idiot, wouldn't this be poor OpSec for the sake of convenience? Or does bit message have its own encryption.
Never used bit message, just trying to learn.
