I took Phentermine for one month and it really worked great for me. However, I just moved to a super rural place (from a larger city) and there are no weight loss clinics within 100's of miles. Any ideas? Theres no regular dr around here that will prescribe it. besides I just changed jobs and don't have insurance at the moment. I had great success on it and want to continue to. I looked at online pharmacies but that's a big risk, one I'm not willing to take.
I know it's a tough situation, but I would definitely suggest getting this one prescribed if at all possible. I know you said no regular doctor in your area would prescribe it, but you might be surprised. I had an amazing doctor where my parents live in the middle of freakin' nowhere, but it took some time to find her. She would drug test me for no other reason than to check on my health and help me to find healthier ways to get through a day without anxiety, all the while still refilling my scheduled medications. I have a lot of distrust in doctors, but believe me, the good ones are out there, even in rural areas. Can I ask how it benefited you? Having already taken it for a month in the past greatly improves your position to go in and explain how it's helped you, and makes it way more likely they will continue with what worked. Sometimes it takes going into a doctor with your medical history and being firm on what has worked and what hasn't, and why. I'd be happy to help you in any way I can in the methods to approach a doctor about a medication you feel you legitimately could benefit from. I'm not talking doctor shopping. I just mean making it very clear to them that this is a medication that has greatly benefited you in the past and that you would continue to do well on it in the future. I know paying for doctor's visits and scripts is a bitch(no insurance myself), but it greatly outweighs going to jail for something as stupid as illegal possession of phentermine. Willing to offer any advice or help I can cause I've been in a similar spot myself
