Strange Coinbase shit, has anyone experienced this?

So yesterday I went to buy food knowing I had a little over a hundred dollars still on my debit card, only to find out my card was declined because there were insufficient funds. When I went online to check my bank statement, I discovered something disconcerting. Over the past several days, any time I have used my debit card to pay for anything, it has immediately been followed by a charge to my account from Coinbase. In total, I'm out a little over 200 dollars on 3 such transactions \ I would ordinarily chalk it up to fraud of some sort, somebody buying coins and sending them to their external wallet. However, I checked my coinbase account, and there are no records of any bitcoins being purchased. So basically, Coinbase is charging money to my account randomly? Has this happened to anyone else? It feels like there's an admin who is just using his power to take money out of my bank account, because I can't think of anything else that it could be. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Never heard of anything even remotely similar to this.

If there's a transfer of $ from your bank account to coinbase you should be able to ask coinbase what's going on via their support. Coinbase isn't some darknet random klugefest - they've got offices and phone lines and normal contact channels.
