Bitcoins Suspected to be CIA or NSA experiment.

First off, this whole thing reads like a badly thought out conspiracy theory but it's worth a thought. While there is no proof of it being created or associated with any agency, there is nothing proving it isn't and it is well within reason to believe there is an association.

The people that use bitcoin will deny that there is any merit to such a possibility, because if it turns out to be true, all our coins will become worthless.

Basically, SOME GUY decided he wanted to make an alternate currency and then it magically gets taken away from him and the founder is no where to be found ? Now it runs its self?

and my flame shield is on, just want opinions

edit: for giggles, a 1996 document describing crypto-currency creation written by the NSA:

That's a crappy article with zero evidence.

Why would bitcoins become worthless?

Bitcoin is very much alien and a lot of unanswered questions and a lot of details the masses will never have a brain large enough to dissect. When I first learned of bitcoin I thought it was awesome until, I came realize I was teaching myself things I could not prove. I was reading 'facts' presented by people I do not know backgrounds. The concept of coders having gone through the protocal and conclude it being legit, while I hope this is true, I do understand that until I have very high end knowledge of technology and coding, I could easily be lied to by some smart peeps, and I will learn the truth if I get duped.

The shutting down of SR and the arrest of Ross U. I think has less to do with the crime actually being committed rather than the power he was about to acquire.

Sounds like you need a full body tinfoil suit.

There is a difference between "cryptography" and "crypto-currency". The document discusses electronic transfer of money between banks.

Interesting theory, awful article with zero factual evidence.

It's Flying Spaghetti Monster time folks!

Pretty sure Satoshi Nakamoto refers to Central Intelligence

Could be another good conspiracy theory.

It could explain many things. They have a back end to track every single currency trade to catch the big fish. Sure, many drug users or people buying fake money or whatever whatnot. I think that it could be possible.

It sounds crazy but who knows these days.
