Drop questions (Germany)

Well, I just noticed an empty/nameless letterbox in my building (slightly rundown, there's even a box that looks like someone added themselves) and decided to try the key. It opened. It was full of junk mail dating back to January. I'm thinking to use this as my drop, but a couple questions if anyone knows.

- Mail here is all sorted by name, not box numbers. If the name is not registered at the building, will the mail still be delivered? - The name will also only be on the box, not on the buzzer outside. Think the postman would even notice?

I will send a few junk letters there to test it first, but any help or tips on the matter would be appreciated.

You can use them, but I would test them out for a couple of weeks before you use them for orders. I'm in Germany as well and have used drops. But you will never know when a hausmeister comes by to check on the houses. It's their job to check on properties.....sometimes more than once a week. I went this route before, picked out a mailbox which was empty for +7 months. Made a bulk order and days after, before it arrived the hausmeister had pulled off the name, and a week after that new people moved in. Unlucky, lost 1500 EUR....But that's always a risk.

Let me get this straight...Your drop is a mailbox with the exact same address that you live at? Freakin really? What do you think's going to happen if it gets busted?
