I think we all just need to take a step back...

& realize what we've got going on here. We buy drugs off the internet. It's really easy to take all of this for granted. The fact that there is a place on the internet that gives us step by step instructions on how to purchase illegal substances from the comfort of your own home, or wherever you may be, is mind blowing. So next time you're upset at your vendor for taking a little while to ship your drugs to your house, take a step back and remember what you're even doing...

I remember the disbelief I first felt when I opened that first package and found those two tiny LSD tabs inside. Utter shock that it actually worked.

I still get a small, fleeting feeling of wonder when a new package comes in. You're right, at no point in the history of the world have we had access to almost any drug ever created, right at our fingertips. We are incredibly lucky.

DNM have been a huge blessing to me; I almost got shot the last time I tried to buy weed off the street.

You know what I find amazing? Vendors have fucking sales/deals on drugs.. insane to actually think about

[6 Points] None:

What sucks is that a lot of people pay a premium price for priority shipping for quick delivery. When a vendor takes several days to ship with zero communication, that's still bad customer service. A few days to ship? No big deal. Been 2 weeks since I placed my order and you still haven't responded to my message? That's fucked.

That's not a rant.

[2 Points] Dunavo:

But that would be sensible.

[3 Points] John_the_Piper:

I can't partake because of my current employment (Navy) but I'm really happy there's an exchange like the DNM out there. It's a much safer, cleaner environment. There are too many horror stories out there of drugs cut with unknown possibly lethal chemicals, drug lords, robberies, etc.

[4 Points] Cixylsyd:

Yep we are insanely lucky. These days street drugs are cut all to shit and the thugs selling them don't give half a shit if you happen to get some Ajax in your meth or whatever. Add that to the fact that almost every hood and his babymama these days are packing and it's just not worth going into a dealing neighborhood because even if you don't get shot or robbed you're still going to get ripped off 8/10 times and pay too much. Dealers that cater to more professional types don't carry so much risk but the price threshold is often too high with them just for that reason.

Before SR I was like most other college kids I know. I smoked some shitty weed when I could but mostly used RCs because they were legal and easier to find than legit drugs. Over a year later of addiction to synthetic cannabinoids and not knowing what the fuck I was putting in my body I heard from one of my RC pals about this new gig that I needed encryption etc for. A month later I've already received my first few orders and have some btc sitting in my wallet. A month after that I get online in class and first thing I see, "SILK ROAD SHUT DOWN, OPERATOR ARRESTED, BITCOINS SEIZED" so I ducked down for a bit. Anyways point is now that I'm getting my feet wet again I am starting to see just how fortunate we are. Whether you buy into SR now or not I have to heavily agree with Defcons words. We aren't just a community anymore, we're not just "amazon for drugs," we are a movement.

"We buy drugs off the internet"

I plead the fifth.

[2 Points] bumwatchies:

Yeah. darknetmarkets are a privilege, not a right

[2 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

No.

Why should you wait weeks? If a vendor hasn't got it ready to stick in an envelope and post to you, he shouldn't sell it.

The post doesn't care whether an envelope has a book from Amazon or an ounce of weed in it. They both go at the same speed.

People are fed up of drug dealers. They don't add value, and darknet markets are here so that you, the customers, can buy direct from us, the manufacturers, without having to drive to the bad side of town at 2AM and buy some ground-up paracetamol from a guy who shot his old lady in the face with a flaregun.

Do you want us to behave like drug dealers? Or do you want us to behave like a shop?

Everyone knows what sort of service to expect from a shop, even darkmarket vendors. Stop making excuses for us.

Personally, I HATE waiting for drugs in the post, just hate it. I assume our customers do too. On average, they have their order in their hands 23 hours after clicking BUY, and we don't even use the fastest of the express delivery options.

The same goes for the marketplaces themselves. We pay them a lot of money, but I've seen people shouted down on here because they can't login or their bitcoin has disappeared - along the lines of "Get off their backs! Everyone knows they're shit. Dur!"

I don't buy all this Defcon "you are hurting our community if you complain when we rob you" nonsense. The "Silk Road model" revolutionized how we buy and sell things. Its still good, but all 4 of it's pillars are essential to trade with any confidence in an anonymous environment. They are:- 1. Bitcoin 2. Escrow 3. Tor / I2P 4. Vendor and customer feedback

Even if a vendor is legit and has what you want to buy, there is no incentive for him to do a good or fast job if you pay him upfront.

We get the escrow released to us within 30 hours of the order being placed. We lose a little money in every darknet market bust or robbery, but we MAKE more money by always using the escrow.

That's what we pay Agora their 5% for.

Greatness...

This is good advice for all of life.

I am very grateful.

[1 Points] Honestuseraccount:

Mate. I've probably spent as much as I have lost on DNMs. But it's all worth it.

[1 Points] 1manchox1:

Lawl i feel like you read my review and posted this about 39 seconds later. You're right, I don't think we should be angered (I wasn't, btw) when they don't show up right on time but it's important to remember that we're taking a risk too. Shipping drugs in the mail causes most half-intelligent people to be a bit paranoid, so if it doesn't arrive in the vendor's advertised time it should be a cause for alarm, what with all the scammers and interceptions/busts.

Pretty cool, isn't it?

It's like Kindle: it's pretty awesome.
