When The Drugs Stop Working.....A goodby to a BIG part of my life!!!!

Well my friends, the ride is over for the drug use, it has stopped getting me high!!!! I have taken the past 2 weeks & have tried damn good meth from 5 different vendors & none of it was able to get me high. All the meth did its job on my test subjects, spun all of them & loved all of the product!!!

But FUCK it.....I am done with something that will not do its intended job on me anymore!!!! TBH....I am struggling with this decision, no matter what any of you believe, I have been in this world since 1985 & every single thing I have shared about my past is 100% true. So I have a BIG hole to fill :-(

To EVERYONE, the people who loved & liked my little show & to the ones who hate me....I REALLY do love you guys!!!! My advice to my haters, find purpose & direct the emotions you have aimed at me, the 100% anonymous person none of you will ever know the true identity of, go weave baskets, anything but hate words typed from TAILS on a laptop with NO HD & running on wifi borrowed from the U.S. government!!!!!

Much Love To Everyone.....All of you guys FUCKING rock!!!!

[33 Points] Thoughtsofamaniac:

Your dopamine system is fried. Sucks to hear man because that shit is going to be hard to deal with, even if you get treatment. Best wishes

[22 Points] Ioserfaggot:

Things like this keeping me away from ever doing meth.

[23 Points] yallsuckers:

It means your brain is cooked. You got out too late. You will be plague with unhappiness because your brain is permanently burnt from meth.

[11 Points] hhayn:

Good for you buddy. I've been there had a stim habit, kicked it, had an opiod habit, kicked it, hand another opioids habit which became an opiate habit, kicked it, relapsed, kicked it, relapsed... that cycle repeated itself a number of times... finally kicked it. Now I am back with a stim habit.. so take what i say with a healthy dose of salt, but..

Whenever I have managed to get some clean time, I strictly adhered to the following guidelines:

Avoid people, places, activities that you associate with drugs. Cut friends who get high or are otherwise unsupportive out of your life like a cancer. Same goes for family, but that's a bit harder to do in some cases. This includes any and all DNM or drug related websites/forums/etc.

Find something to fill your time. Read a book, go to a museum, do something. Don't leave yourself with idle time.

Delete the numbers of any dealers/users from your phone. Change your phone number if possible.

Eat healthy. Cut junk food out, eat vegetables and fruits and such.

Go to the gym or do some other form of exercise. Everyday if possible, and until you're utterly exhausted. It will suck, a lot, at first but it is the fastest way to feel better. This is by far the most important part of the physical/neurochemical recovery process.

Think about attending meetings. I know some people hate them, myself included, but at least you'll have some social contact where you won't be in a situation that could lead to a relapse.

Don't dwell on the negative shit.

If you fuck up and pick up, stop as soon as possible. Don't use one fuck up as an excuse to keep going.

Take high quality supplements with meals like 5HTP, Omega 3s (fish oil pills), L-tyrosine, L-arginine, etc. Melatonin and Valerian Root can also be helpful.

Don't expect day by day results. Don't beat yourself up or lose your give a fuck because you're still miserable and feeling like shit after 8 weeks. This is going to be a long haul type process, likely a full year or more before you're back to the pre-drug baseline.

Substitute your addiction only with things that are healthy and/or productive. That means no gambling, or picking up streetwalking hookers, etc. Things like running, working out, playing an instrument, hobbies of various sorts, DIY home improvement projects, etc.

Know it is perfectly normal to feel terrible and utter despair. You're mourning the loss of your best friend. It takes time to process this new onslaught of emotions that life will throw at you. But just like with all of our dearly departed, while we still love them, life will... it must... go on for those they leave behind, including you.

Again, just my personal insights from my struggles spending close to 60% of my life as an active addict of one kind or another. Do with it what you will.

Godspeed my friend. I wish you the best.

I don't like amps but more power to you, I quit Xanax after I realized it was just making me dumber and destroying my memory, it's hard I'm a new redditor but love you posts, don't leave! Find a new drug! Personally I like me some good ganja and some lsd! You could be egodeath_trip_9000 lol!

[3 Points] Happy-shaturdaynight:

[3 Points] whatisopsec:

Every drug always stops working. It sucks but I guess it is time to build a real life.

[3 Points] Chetineva:

Memantine could help you, if you are experiencing cravings and/or depression.

[0 Points] LongHairBri:

yeah, it NEVER comes back either. I'm a head from the crank days, hadn't touched meth for 20 years after quitting. tried it a few times recently, no real effect, no euphoria, went to bed. everyone else who tried it thought it was the best thing ever

[2 Points] SamuelLJacksongod:

Good luck man I could not even imagine 20 years of use. I did a solid 1-2 months and man the high was so diminished from multiple sources and it was like a 20 minute high compared to 6-8 hours when i first started. Crazy how tolerance escalates. I tried cocaine as an alternative but it just wasn't the same and also way too expensive hence me going broke lol... Finding an alternative drug wise is probably not the answer speaking from experience. I tried xanax and that was great alternative for a while also but it got me into tons of trouble plus the withdrawals are twice as worse. Eat extremely healthy get exercise if you can is your best bet. GOOD LUCK keep your head up

[2 Points] AgoraRefuge:

Head over to r/nootropics and see if you cant reverse your little problem. Either way man, keep on rockin.

I'm happy for you bro, but sad, too. You made this forum worth reading half the time with NEEDS MORE DOMESTIC METH BAHAHAHA

[1 Points] Desecration29:

I've never done the drug and never will, but I'm interested in generally all things that I can learn from..

So I have a weird question, but from doing the drug for this long in your life, do you have any health problems or anything? Like we always hear about the facesofmeth people, and see the outcome from just a couple years of use, but do you personally have any issues like this?

Stay strong friend.

But FUCK it

Well I am happy for you buddy. I will miss your silly humor and posts and sometimes your rants. I know how you feel and I am not far behind you my friend.. When you cant get high on your own supply its time for a break.

I have faith in you and I know it will take some time and some sleep and some will power but I believe you will get this monkey off your back for as long as you deem necessary and when your ready for the monkey again it will be here ready to hop back on and go for a Meth9000 ride.

Good luck brother and take care.

What's interesting is, I always pictured you as a teenager, but if you've been using 32 years, you must be near/over 50. Just a thought.

Anyway, good luck to you. I wish you all the best.

[1 Points] tuckmyjunksofast:

Jokes on you. You now have to keep taking the drugs just to feel normal/shitty.

[1 Points] JackknifeJesus:

I've gotten to that point before. Honestly it was the main reason stopped using meth (for the most part). I wasn't getting high anymore and it escalated to me banging the dope trying to find the high again.

I'm glad I survived those couple years of my life. I havent used a needle in over a year now and I'm so much happier man.

I still dabble occasionally with different things if the conditions are right. Most of my drug consumption happens when I'm enhancing something that is already fun, like a music festival or something.

It's been cool chatting with you here and there. You're one of the few people that knew my different reddit handles used for this sub.

Best of luck to you man. Stay safe out there.

[1 Points] Medacali:

Damn dude, it's been a minute since we've talked but I'm glad you made the decision. I quit meth about 3 months ago, haven't looked back.

Wish you the best, don't forget about us<3

I wish you the best in your endeavors, message me if you ever need to chat. I'll be around eventually to reply.

[1 Points] ksosk:

Much love. You won't recognize my name, but I've been bahahaha-ing along since you were Rorschach_9000. Glad to see you're turning around.

Good luck in life (:

[1 Points] DiscoverInfo:

I only use meth every 3 months, and not more than 2-3 tweaking sessions. I also love ketamine and use to "terminate" the tweaking session after initial peak has worn off. With adderall I take memantine whenever I take it too to try and counteract neurotoxicity. This sucks I and feel for you. I force myself to stay off meth for 3 months otherwise it could turn ugly. Best of luck to you dude.

[0 Points] Reorx2112:

Super glad your on the road to sober again sir.!

[0 Points] NerdBreaker:

Quit you mf and never look back adderall ;)
