Drop question

I'm willing to set up a postbox near a lot of other post boxes with a fake name, Do postal services check if the place matches the person name? How likely is it that shipment gets seized? I'm talking just about personal quantities so very light normal letters, btw I'm not renting one, im just placing one with a fake name near others boxes. It's a place where a lot of students rent houses and postal boxes are all togheter, the postman isn't a problem, i'm sure he will deliver if the letter passes through

Hey, you seem a little new, let me help you out a bit.

Be sure to always frequent /r/DarkNetMarketsNOOBS. It's a really great subreddit with a lot of information regarding OPSEC, and your question itself.

To answer your question though, you'll need two forms of Identification to even open a PO Box(One government issued the other a utility bill of some sort). Even though it's fairly easy to get fakes of those two things, you'd be adding a whole slew of new charges should you get caught. I would highly recommend you don't use a fake name if you need to open a PO box. The reason most vendors use USPS is because it's the safest route of transportation in the first place, for them to open your package they would need a warrant signed by a judge, and before that need probable cause to take it out of the loop of packages. For them to get probable cause that package would have to have very shitty stealth, or be being profiled. Plus using a fake name for the PO box throws your plausible deniability out the door, which is what a lot of OPSEC is about.

Just get a friend or acquaintance you trust to let you get it shipped to their place for a few bucks. Way less risky. Fake names are a recipe for disaster in most cases
