Lol whoops.

I had told the mod team that I wanted to leave the mod team. In hindsight I shouldn't have come back, I didn't really want to start spending more time on Reddit that I already do. I was planning to give them a few days to find someone to replace me, but I guess last night on MXE I had different ideas. I don't even remember why it had to be last night, but apparently it was pretty important. Haha.

Anyway, it was a voluntary thing and I hope the mod team is cool with it. Nothing has burned down in my absence so I think I'm good.

He voluntarily stepped on.

he stepped down, not a demotion. it was his choice im 99% sure.

He's not totally out of the DNMod game and his account is fine, I'd assume it has something to do with the recent backlash against no sourcing and the wednesday/sunday threads

maybe it has something to do with this

"I think it would be interesting to have the community agree on a set of rules, and then have those rules in place for say a week and see how things turn out. Or maybe even invite a few new mods to the team and have them run things for a little bit."

I can't speak for him, as I don't know anything, but I'd guess this was voluntary and a temporary thing.
