I thought i would post this in case anyone wanted to get a quick laugh... I am not begging for money either but i found this quite hilarious and thought others might too...
I am currently trying to make a purchase on nucleus market and the cost for the order is $740 CAD including shipping.
I have about $750 CAD in BTC (as per googles BTC price) that i sent to the market... When i went to go make my purchase i noticed that i am 0.0000339 BTC short... At this time that is exactly $0.01 CAD... This is due to the price of BTC on nucleus being $3 USD and change different than the price listed on google... So it has worked out that I am exactly 1 penny short of making my order!!! I wouldn't have found it so hilarious if it had even be 2 cents lol
So now i play the waiting game to see if (hope) that the btc price updates on nucleus before it starts dropping too much hahaha
I am sure my vendor will be fine with either a direct transfer of the BTC as the actual value is higher than what is listed currently (i am going to FE anyways, trusted vendor) and he would save on the commission or i have offered to purchase a smaller listing and send the remainder to him directly if he wants the review.
This just makes me think that perhaps the markets could benefit from a feature that allowed you to purchase your listing even if you were $X.XX (say $1 to $5, or whatever the vendor chose and only if they elected to allow it) short. Perhaps they could set a % of their choosing for each listing for a grace value. I know this has happened before with me to vendors where i ended up being a couple bucks short and i just purchased as much as i could from them and sent them the remainder of the money directly and they were fine with it. I guess perhaps this system might be abused if it was implemented but it does seem to happen to people alot that they end up short a very tiny amount... And in my case i even accounted for BS like this with an extra $10 CAD..
I even had one vendor (discounts_r_us) give me a free product worth $45 USD once when i was a few bucks short of buying the last pill and he said not to worry about it.
Anyways just thought some of you might get a laugh out of my current situation.
It is kind of annoying though that even with an extra $10 i did not have enough for my purchase and that money just gets lost by me. Perhaps googles BTC price is not accurate though...?
Anyways have a good one people
edit - fixed price
coool story bruh
