If anyone here has tried the tea before and if so how would you compare it to other opioids? Any input is helpful. Thanks.
[GeneralQuestions] Has anyone here ever tried poppy seed tea?

I would go for the pods rather than the seeds. They're actually legal up until the point of cultivation.

I did it with pods when you could order them online freely...it was gross and I'm not an opiate fan so I didn't enjoy it.

try r/opiates but the quick answer is that it is really hit or miss whether the seeds you buy will have enough morphine/codeine content. mostly miss.

Its called dode (doh--dah) here i keep meaning to check the market for it. Its like a good codeine buzz a little stronger and less antsy/itchy imo

It's about what you'd expect slight warm and tingly feeling that lasts forever. Way stronger than Kratom but a tad weaker than oral morphine

Don't take too much. It creeps up and after about 3-4 hrs after taking I usually puke. You'll feel it for days. Pods are way better.

The seeds you buy from the grocery store (papaver californicum) won't work. They're the wrong species of poppy and produce only negligible amounts of morphine and codeine. You'll want to find seeds that are specifically labeled as opium poppies (papaver somniferum).
I used to buy ~1.5lb (a little more) of bulk poppy seeds at Whole Foods, costs $10-15. Make sure they're bulk and unwashed, that's why I used Whole Foods. It's a hassle soaking your liquid in all those seeds and then filtering them out, but before I developed enough of a tolerance, it was a pretty nice high especially for the cost and ease to obtain. I used an ultra-fine strainer and a some lemonade or juice in it too to get a stronger tea and to mask the taste. If you're new to opiates, go for it. If not though, just stick with pills or heroin.
