Can You Buy Bitcoin With A Prepaid Visa/Card? (Local Bitcoin Isn't An Option)

I have a bank account linked, but am very skeptical about having transactinos show up on my bank account. I was wondering if there was anyway I could use a prepaid Visa or some other card to add bitcoins to my wallet! I have a bank account linked if anything goes wrong, but I cannot seem to get a prepaid card I have to work on circle or coinbase. Thanks for your help!

Sir, please do not ever link your personal bank account to any Bitcoin vendor especially if you plan to send it to a DM, regardless of what anyone says, it's a horrible idea. And just in general, as someone with friends working at one of the biggest banks on earth, they fucking HATE bitcoin and want to exterminate it as soon as possible.

Alternatives:

-Bitquick.co: buy bitcoins anonymously using direct deposit in cash. (However, they do state that if the transaction is large enough they may require ID, but there is no bank account, which is the key)

-Libertyx: just like another gentleman mentioned, you can create an account in any name, you buy a pin #, in cash, that you then redeem for bitcoin.

-Localbitcoin: which you said was not an option (but did not clearly explain why), does not require a near by bank, you can send payment via western union, money gram, pay online, amazon, etc, etc, etc., just in case you did not know.

-Any method that does not require a bank account. (just search the web)

Whatever you do, do not link a bank account in your name to ANY bitcoin vendor, at least not if you live in the USA. If you want info as to why I say this, please, do not take my word for it, just google: Circle, Coinbase, and all the other direct bank vendors and then cross that with; -U.S. Treasury's Bank Secrecy Act Advisory Group; - United States Department of the Treasury and the Bank Secrecy Act. They all comply.

Then use your own judgement and intelligence to make a well informed decision. Hope this helps. Stay safe bro.

Cheers
