Did i Just lose 900 dollars

What happened to electrum? I've been using the same wallet for three months. All I do is send libx redemptions to my old wallet address. I've been using this address to receive for 3 months and just had a successful transaction on the 17th! Well I sent a 900 payment to the same OLD WALLET ADDRESS BUT NOW ALL MY ELECTRUM RECEIVING ADRESSES HAVE CHANGED? WHAT HAPPENED ? All the old adresses I could use are not longer able to be seen or use, and now the NEW addresses I can use say they have 0 transactions. Well I have a lot of transactions, and now all my addresses to recieve say 0 transactions because they are all new addresses. Why did electrum change all my addresses, this makes no sense, I haven't even touched it since my successful deposit on the 17th

I deposited and sent money to my electrum on the 17th, checked the transaction and it used the old wallet address, wtf? Did electrum get updated or some shit

Use your seed and recover your wallet. Also do what /u/ziz1 told you to do. Try to find your old wallet files as well and see if you can recover it. If none of this worked, then i think you lost some money.

For the future, always cope/paste NEW addresses directly from electrum. This will ensure that you have the CORRECT address and it's always good to use different addresses when dealing with this, protects your identity.

If you go to the console tab and type:

listaddresses()

Does it show any of your old addresses?

Can you do a wallet recovery using your seed words?

(File > New > enter filename / Save > Restore an existing wallet from its seed)
