To test the waters, I've ordered about 10 grams each from different vendors. Some sent it in a box, others in an envelope. By envelope, I mean the big thick priority cardboard envelopes.
In my opinion, the envelope is a bad idea. I don't want anyone to be able to finger-fuck a package and figure out what it is.
Sure this may be paranoia, but add up (1) light, lumpy but squishy contents, (2) printed labels with stamps, (3) sent from a legal state.
I assume those vendors used envelopes because of the small quantity. To be fair, I suppose a box could be worse stealth because of the very light weight. But if I got something like an ounce in an envelope I would 0/5 so fast. Does that ever happen?
Is there a cut-off for box vs envelope?
Got an ounce in a priority envelope. Could definitely feel it through the package. Product was slightly crushed, you could see the trichomes smashed into the foodsaver bag. I would always prefer the small priority box. No need to 0/5
