In my experience yes you can do this.
But you need to inform host before. And relate it to a work business thing.
I've done in while living in vegas for a month. So maybe shorter stays it's not a good idea.
I'm also a chef. So I jus told the host I was ordering supplies for the catering jobs I was doin while out there

No way, people who use their homes for Abnb usually have their mail redirected to a PO box so people staying at their house don't have access to their mail.
