If you're like me you prefer to use encryption. Encrypting and decrypting takes time, but it's important. For example, Alpha Bay had TWO leaks of pms, and while it was still in operation, there was a way for some sigaint emails to be read. LE is still data mining their image of SR's server. So I prefer that clients just go ahead and encrypt everyting. What makes it difficult is when a person has a PGP key that in no way shape or form resembles their market username. For example, some client has the marketname "sniffmybudcrack" but then their pgp key says "boofmeallnitelong" If I want to keep an encrypted conversation going, I either have to remember that the two are associated, or RE-IMPORT the key each time. Now thats a big hassel. And It makes it so I don't want to communicate with that person. So until there is a way in tails to add notes on a public key or something like that so I can make those associations, everyone should make and post a pgp key that matches their username. Also important, is that it matches in a way so that when searched by the 1st letter, it will come up easily. Lets take mr. sniffmybudcrack, their key name should be exactly that, not "wiffmybudcrack" or whatever, because when I type "s" in the search bar, I won't easily see their key.
Also important is to not use an in real life email on that key. If I was buying from markets, I would just make a tor based email that had my market name. it would be bubblelover@sometoremail.com, then for my key I would have as the 1st and last name Bubble Lover, email bubblelover@sometoremail.com and my market username would be bubblelover. That way the vendor only had to import my key once to have an encrypted converstion with me. Oh yea the IRL email thing, I've actually seen people use IRL emails on their PGP key. How did I know that, because it matched the name given in the address. So thats why it's important to just make a tor based email to go along with your marketuserame
yeah TCL!
