The 1980s + Today's technology (I guess if 9/11 never happened)

Imagine a world where laws were still as loose as they were back in the days prior to 9/11 and back when we still had $500 bills. Back when getting hard drugs like coke and heroin over the border was easier than taking a shit. Remember when nobody really asked where you got your money from? You could buy big shit in cash or use off shore bank accounts?

Imagine if all those laws weren't changed, like at all. And meanwhile it's 2014 and we still have the internet and faster mail. Vendors wouldn't even have to try!

~hypothetical pipe dreams I kno, I just wanna talk about it...

Well, it would be great except for all the killing that went on. Eliminate that and you're golden.

Getting drugs over the boarder is still easy as shit, its just more organized. The loads that matter usually don't get found. Drugs would be even shittier as the demand is so high and the supply was much smaller. The drug scene evolved with the times. Also, people were going away for 20 years back then for a kilo of coke, its gotten better drug policy wise as well.

Shiiiiiit. Forget the 80s, just take me back to 2007/2008, before all the bitcoin retards edged in on my cozy little research chemicals market. You noobs have no idea how much you trashed the market with your cryptocurrencies, and your dark net markets, and your millions of little turds running around buying drugs and drawing all this attention.

In 2007, imagine that I had a Chinese friend that I knew by first name, and whose labs could certify purity through GC/MS, which I could confirm on my own mass spec. They had no problem getting precursors, and shipping happened in commercial-grade detergent and household chem packaging.

Now look at every god damned price you pay on your markets, divide them by five, maybe ten, and you'll know what the good days were really like. Nobody was watching, no cops or customs, nobody was shooting my ass, and I didn't have to paw around a bunch of wet $500 bills that had been through more hooker's crotches than Wilt Chamberlain.

You assholes made all my favorite chems like the early JWHs, 2C-B, and methylone into expensive, illegal shit, and they've never been as good again. If you want a good, illicit market, you keep people the FUCK out of it, or it blows up and draws all this shitty attention.

And PS: Who really wants coke and heroin anymore? Drugs of the fuckin ego, man, stained with bleach and blood. I prefer a market for psychedelics, entheogens, and of course, cannabinoids. You guys may very well have fucked that up, though.
