After going to Nucleus for a particularly cheap listing I have a couple complaints after using mostly Evo for a few months now
- Entering your the PGP key is not part of the profile registration process and I didn't enter mine until after making several large orders which is a bit sp00ky if I needed to be contacted for some reason but I guess this one is partially my fault for not remembering I needed to post it. It's also under settings not profile which doesn't seem to make much sense as PGP is def part of your identity and not your settings
- Confirmed orders have no information on time placed/processed by the vendor except the est time of arrival and figuring out what has been shipped/processed/not confirmed yet is way more of a hassle than it needs to be because of this weird tab system (evo vs nuc)
- Once currency is switched from BTC, listings don't have the BTC price anywhere whereas your wallet is still displayed in BTC. Being aware of the price in a currency you understand and knowing how much BTC it will cost at the same time involves opening a browser window to calculate, but even then the nucleus price for bitcoin doesn't update often so if you want a really accurate price bust out the calculator.
- The categories are the exact same as evo, not really a major complaint but I'd think a new market would want to set itself apart by mixing it up just a bit
- The sidebar is clunky despite looking good because it's not obvious what each thing does, maybe add some text with each icon?. It's also arraigned in a confusing way, it could definitely be cut down to something way more simple that doesn't take up so much space. Maybe here? Not every button thing on the sidebar is visible when you open the page and you have to scroll down to see them all, again there is space up top for stuff
- When you get the captcha wrong it clears your password, stopping 0 bots and making it annoying for the rest of us
That being said, I do like how Nucleus lists the number of confirmations for a deposit right on the page and the lack of a vendor fee of any kind gets some cheaper prices and more interesting products in general + more samples ;). However, there really isn't enough different about it to attract people over the other markets I think. Removing all non-drug sections might help, not much is posted there anyway, or guiding vendors towards listing certain quantities or products might help. The only real way I can see Nucleus becoming big is either if Evo or Agora go down permanently and people exodus to Nucleus for the similarity or LTC becomes more popular. Or maybe it is supposed to be smaller idk
I like everything about it, except how the orders are handled. There is a lack of information available once they are placed. Otherwise, deposits/withdraws are amazingly quick, and the site is always up
