Never had to dispute on AB for a refund, how do i do it?

Ive only had to dispute a few times to get a few more days for items to arrive. I ordered a digital service, and disputed it because it wasnt finished. The vendor completed part of the service, but stopped replying and working on it because i wouldnt finalize. After 3 or so days with no reply, i asked for a refund for the rest. The vendor said if i release more they will refund whatevers left. Obviously im not doing that, is there any way to get the dispute finalized without the vendors consent? Like i said, no reply for 3 days, and no progress on the order for at least 4. Is there a time limit, or will the dispute sit there, unresolved, until both of us agree?

When you place a dispute a moderator will message you and the seller together you both have 3 days to explain your case. If one side fails to respond then on the 4th day the other party may say REFUND / FINALIZE. Then the mod will send the escrow funds to whoever requested what.

Down the bottom of the dispute page is a word box and an invite moderator button. Type trappy in. Whether you get any help is anyones guess.

The vendor and i both sent a few messages in the group pm before they stopped responding. I messaged first, and it seems like the mod isnt going to do anything until we both agree, even though the vendor clearly isnt going to do anything and just wants to get as much money out of it as possible. Ill try inviting trappy i guess, thanks
