[CommunityDiscussion] Trust in future markets

So I really like what Nucleus and Blackbank have done to whether the 0-day Tor storm the other markets haven't.

Blackbank, while more glacial than the turtle in the race between it and the hare, is slow and steady as always and reliable to place multisig orders with.

On the other hand, Nucleus has implemented rolling .onions in order to give DDOS attacks 20% efficacy. Unfortunately... still no multisig.

So while both are somewhat "up" right now, its not the perfect solution. I've seen a lot of discussion about the future of DNMS and I think a combination of what Agora has done with cycling their physical location, Nucleus's cycling of .onion location, and Blackbank's arcane ability to stay up and great multisig implementation would create the better DNM of the future.

What else besides 2-FA, enforced PGP, multisig, rotating .onion and phsyical location would make "the DNM of the future?"

Frequent, or at least periodic, communication from site administrators would be nice. Instead of having to guess whether the site is being attacked or is under maintenance

Are you talking about security or in general?

Total transparency on feedbacks (both vendors and buyers).

Lots of mods so you don't have to wait days when you submit a ticket/enter a dispute.

A proper search function with lots of parameters (for example being able to sort items by their ratio price/weight)

No FE allowed.

Something that plots feedbacks over time for a given vendor.

A proper handle on exit scamming vendors.

The future market is like a facebook for drugs. You pay for access but you don't actually store your money there. Vendors post listings and pictures and interact with buyers. When a customer goes to buy something they just copy paste two xpub keys into the bitcoin wallet and fund it. Bitcoin wallets like coinkite and electrum allow you to do everything with multisig, so there is no need to lose your money on a market if it goes down. See my post here https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/30qsaj/communitydiscussion_using_coinkite_to_do_multisig/

Trust in future markets

Easier said than done. I though I could trust EVO (Yes, it was run by carders, I know) but look what happened there. There is a certain degree of trust you need in the markets and the vendors but damn, EVO screwed us all.

The market of the future is either decentralized or no market at all. Really all you need is a message board where people can post communication methods and PGP keys. (what to buy wednesday)

One thing I'd like to see, and I don't understand how it's not a standard thing on any market, is the ability to add vendors and listings to an easy to read favorites page

I'm not sure how you can say BlackBank's multi-sig is a "good implementation" when the first thing buyers are required to do is deposit bitcoins into a market controlled wallet. What's up with that? Market controlled wallets and central escrow need to be gone. As long as a market has a traditional escrow system they will be a big target for thieves and hackers.

How is cycling onions a thing? How does that work!
