After assuming I had been scammed and giving up hope of getting my bitcoin back (a week ago), I checked my fog today to find this:
News:
We have successfully managed to resolve the deposit situation. All past deposits should be registered now. Please check your balance and history if you had a deposit delayed by this incident. Only some addresses were affected and it took us some time to find the problem, so if you had a deposit missing during the last week etc., it should be registered as well. Sorry for the inconvenience.
PHEW! I have not tried to withdraw yet but hopefully it will work.
This whole debacle is an important reminder of the risks of DNM trading. Please remember that anyone at any time, regardless of their acceptance in the community, can decide to scam you. Transact in small amounts, don't use unnecessary services, and never send money you would be uncomfortable with losing
Sounds like the perfect way for a selective scammer to double-dip and bring their reputation back up in order to scam people all the more... just sayin'...
