[GeneralQuestions] USPS tracking marked as delivered, no box there?

Say one was to have ordered a product a few days ago and it was marked as delivered and 3 hours after that the person was to visit their box and nothing was there (no slip in box, and asked cashier if anything was there). Should I be concerned? Does it take them a few hours to sort it to the correct P.O. box or something?

Everyone is experiencing delays it seems, USPS just sucks ass. People on clearnet were flipping out and on here and other sites were people ordered simple packages from amazon. TL:DR: USPS sucks fucking ass.

Should I be concerned?

You should re-phrase to say "Should one be concerned?" lol. No need to use the SWIM paradigm or the like.

So I assume you actually have the tracking number and not just being told that it shows delivered? How is the vendor? Trustworthy/well reviewed?

The things that come to mind:

Have you asked your neighbors if they've gotten a pack on accident? I listed the above in order of likelihood, from most likely to least likely, based on the info you provided (you didn't name vendor, so not sure about the vendor's reliability/honesty and assumed the worst). I'd be concerned in terms of getting ripped off maybe. I don't think I'd be concerned abotu LE involvement at this point. My guess is if the vendor didn't rip you off, then USPS delivered it to the wrong addy or it got stolen from your mailbox. This has happened to me with a DNM pack once and many other legit packs over the years. It happens.

Sometimes they have a temp guy covering. Atleast that's how mine has been and they did forget to out it in the box at one point. I just asked and I got it. My PO is a 1 person office though so they do things in weird ways

Keep us posted as to whether you get it
