Misconceptions on stealth.

I really don't know why do many people think that good stealth is when the vendor tries to hide the drugs from the recipient, especially while using many old and well known methods like putting the goods inside a pen, inside a CD case, as a 'sample' of some random chemical compound etc.

The truth is that if the envelope gets in the hands of a customs officer and gets opened - you, as recipient, are fucked because if they find anything inside that's suspicious they will check what's inside. Do you believe that a mylar bag, labeled 'caffeine' or whatnot, will not seem as something suspicious? Then you are wrong, because they WILL check what's the substance inside. Why do you think that sending molly inside a pen will work? Who the fuck sends random $1 pens internationally? Like I've said, all these 'stealth' methods using a decoy are long known to customs.

There were a lot theories on the stealth topic since SR1, on the forums, reddit and such, but the only stealth that might work is making the outside of the letter looking as generic as they can get and as flat as it's possible so the letter won't attract attention. Think in the lines of envelopes looking like spam mail, business correspondence and such.

Envious (veteran, well known vendor on SR1) posted a good vendor guide, for some strange reason he was the only one who suggested keeping the letters as flat and small as possible, to avoid any extra attention at first impression. And no one complained about his stealth or non-arrivals.

[4 Points] RosyPalm:

Good stealth means you can't figure out what's inside the package/envelope just from looking at, touching, or smelling the package/envelope.

The only advantage of a decoy is if the package bursts it's seams and comes open in transit. Postal workers will just slap some tape on and send it on its merry way unless they're forced to turn it in because loose pills, powders, and green leafy substances are spilling all over the sort machine.

LEOs and mail thieves are going to do to the decoy exactly what the buyer is going to do with it. Tear it to pieces looking for the drugs.

I'll take vac sealed, then Mylar sealed, with an invoice or something every time for things that don't smell and can be kept small. Anything larger than those vcr sized boxes, I agree.
