Hows it different here in the uk regarding various interactions with LE.

so i repeatedly hear the same stuff over and over again about rights and such, but it's ALWAYS been about US law and i've found few resources on british law. Are there any good resources about what my rights are if i got pulled over, questioned, arrested or if a friend ratted me out if he/she got caught? (sorry if this is the wrong subreddit or something)

Being arrested: your rights. You didn't look too hard.

It's pretty much the same. Don't get caught doing drugs, don't look like a drug dealer in a blacked out bimma, don't hang around with people with wagging tongues and don't obstruct any investigation on you unless you are 100% sure you're innocent (yeah... right).

Regarding having your mail profiled and getting unexpected plod at your door for receiving something you shouldn't in the post, will only happen if you're constantly ordering every day or regular large quantities. even then, you'll almost certainly receive a suspended sentence.

I've been going to raves in the UK for nearly two decades and they usually have police there and I've heard first hand several times that raves are a cushy number for them as all the pill-heads are loved up and cause little or no fuss and go home quietly(ish). It's almost as if our police are just not bothered enough to fill out the paperwork. Obviously, never think you're invincible, but getting caught is very low here.

Being pulled over, questioned, arrested and grassed up (ratted out) are four completely different scenarios. Much depends on which part of the UK you're in; if you're charged, the offence you're charged with and how you plead.

Generally in DNM terms, simple possession of small amounts of anything is relatively unimportant. Serving substantial weight, especially class A, is more serious.

You wouldn't steal a policemans helmet and go to the toilet in it...would you???

pretty sure theres a new bit of law that if you can prove you use cannabis medically you can get off with being caught
