What is the best way to buy a large amount of bitcoin at one time in cash? Ive only ever used circle and i have alot of cash to use to buy bitcoin but ive only ever used circle and the 300 dollar limit makes it a no go, and i dont want to transfer it from my bank account as i have it in cash already.

Can you please say what is your definition of 'large'? Not a real amount, just around-about.

Circle canceled my account a bit ago and I did some searching, found out my city has a Bitcoin ATM. You just put some cash in and get the bitcoin sent to your wallet. I know a lot of places don't have this, but you should at least look in your city. It's amazing! The only downside is 5% transaction fees.

When I was buying I only used localbitcoin or my friends.

Cash in person through LBC.

LBC---->Cash Deposits. Totally anonymous, can get quite a bit of BTC in single transactions.

Personally I use LBC and Western Union (because I can do it 24/7 a most agents) the markup is usually $20ish a coin but you can deposit however much you need to at a time. Usually the more you deposit the lower the rates.

I use my local Bitcoin ATM, as far as I know they don't have limits or the guy is crooked that owns the machine, it's suppose to be a 10,000 dollar a day limit but I have surpassed that limit before, the only thing that sucks is they have a 10% fee but hey I'll pay the 10% for annonomity

LBC, wad of cash. Done. Plus you can get a small percentage reduced. Maybe if the market is saturated where you live.

Generally, if you purchase 1-2k through an LBC cash deposit, the seller will offer you their service if you need any larger quantities. Most LBC sellers will sell up to $5k at a time. You only need to hit up five banks and you can have $25k in BTC in one day.
