I recently tried out a new weed vendor on evo. They had some complaints in their first orders but not enough to justify anything other than a positive review. Don't want to specifically name them before all this is concluded but they're in the cannaxpress price range.
So I ordered two fridays ago and immediately asked if they would be shipping on saturday as other major vendors like canna seem to do so. they said nope but promised it would ship monday. That was still fine by me. I log in to evo monday evening and see it was marked ship so I continue on with my business. Don't log back in until wednesday which I see that my order has been cancelled and btc refunded. I see I received a message from him later that monday nigh saying the bud I ordered was out of stock but they would hook me up with another strain and make it fat.
I was kind of pissed about this, especially since the order was marked shipped and this message wasn't sent until hours later. These are the kind of issues that happen with people under load like cannaxpress, not a new vendor that barley has any orders. When I questioned them about it I was told it was marked shipped when it was to make sure the order didn't cancel after the 96 hour mark.
So I took they up on his offer and purchased another strain with hopes of the bit of extra weight. Personally wish they would have just done this in the first place. I consider myself a weed connoisseur but weed is weed in that instance, especially since the other strains were selling for the same price. So apparently they ship out Thursday. I usually get priority mail in 4 days from coast to coast. No more, no less. So on Monday no package. I know it's the holidays but like I said the 4 day period has never failed no matter the time of year.
So I message them to see if thye had in fact shipped it on Thursday. No response. Messaged him yesterday and got a response back basically saying that they had no idea what happened. "We had to ship from a different destination and it looks like somewhere along the line the packages got completely haywire." He seemed to imply this had happened to multiple orders and said he would be reshipping 2oz today (originally ordered 1oz).
Under normal circumstances I would consider that a very fair tradeoff for what has happened. But now I'm pretty paranoid knowing there is a "lost" package with a oz of bud in the mail with my name an address on it. On top of that the order is set to auto finalize in 8 days. I'm leaving the country on Thursday and won't be back until after that. Therefore I will have no way to stop that autofinalization from happening before I know if I did or did not get ripped off.
Suggestions?
Also I'm not heading to Belize but maybe I should? :P
Your best bet would be to dispute the order so that you stay safe in escrow. Kind of a dick thing to pull on a vendor but with all of the issues you've experienced I wouldn't feel bad about making the vendor wait for finalization.
If this is Evo we are talking about then rest assured your dispute won't even be noticed for a solid two weeks, haha.
