PO Box busy bodies.

Hello I have a PO box and I am having an issue where packages that clearly state on the front signature waived are being held and I have had to sign for them. Usually I get a card with my box number letting me know but last time It was the pink we missed you will try one more time slip for a 2 day express box that fit easily in my box and clearly stated in bold SIGNATURE WAIVED. When I signed for it the fucker shook it next to his ear! I almost brought this up last time with the clerk but didn't feel like violating one of my main rules (don't draw attention). The first time it happened I was concerned but saw nothing else unusual and signed because it seemed riskier to refuse. Now it doesn't even trip my alarm bells which sucks. This is a small midwest office that knows your name but Is very busy and sees allot of priority express and international mail. For many other reasons it is ideally suited to my needs. I usually work early to evening so my reason for needing to pick up after hours is legit. I know I should just mention my problem or find another location, but was wondering if a usps employee or anyone else could give me some insight before I make my decision.

You may want to ask them if you can set up an advanced signature, not sure what it's called now. Basically they have your signature on file so there no need to sign, it covers most packages, but not all. Also next time you have this situation do draw attention to the situation, they're being unnecessarily annoying, and if it continues it could cause further issues. However, try to make sure it's a legit package and not a DNM pack. If having a pre-authorized signature on file doesn't work, just ask them what you have to do for them to stop their shit. Obviously do this nicely, but be firm as well, just ask why this keeps happening and what you/they need to do to stop it.

As much as you may think you're trying not to bring attention to yourself, having to speak with them every time you pick something up brings you more attention than trying to get this issue sorted out. Explain that you get off work later in the evening and need to be able to get your mail without having to make an additional trip to the post office.

Oh yeah six hour rule. I'm going to bed, so thanks for your help I'll check back in the morning. Also there is nothing that leads me to believe I am being watched (yet) All packs have come through in acceptable time frames unmolested as far as I can tell.
