So, a vendor offers "Express shipping" for an extra $50. Profile says "express" shipping is 1-2 days. "Priority" shipping 1-3 days.
I ordered the "Express" and got it in 2 days. Not bad, "priority" shipping usually arrives in 5 days.
Anyway, it's in a Express flat rate envelope, but the shipping label says "Priority 2-Day" The tracking info also says, USPS Product: Priority 2-Day. No where, except the envelope, does it mention "express."
But USPS Website says Priority Express is next day guaranteed. Priority is 1-3 days. I live in an area where if it shipped from vendors zip to my zip I would be in a 2 day priority zone.
I tell vendor I'm a bit confused, he keeps saying, he shipped "Express" and USPS Priority Express can take 1-2 days. And that the shipping label says "Priority 2-day" because it knows express shipping will take 2 days from his location to mine.
So, whats the deal. How does USPS Express shipping work? Should the printed USPS shipping label/postage say Priority Express if he paid the $20 something buck for express? Is express next day or 1-2 days?
I'm very confused, don't want to call the vendor a lier, but everything on the USPS website conflicts with what his profile says and what he's told me in messages.
Normal shipping usually takes about 5 days from this vendor.
There should be a big bold "P" or an "E" at the top of the label. If it is the P then its Priority. If there is an E then it is Express.
