A simple question. Which market do you trust more, all variables included ? I will aggregate votes from relevant subreddits.

The only market which has demonstrated that they're trustworthy is BMR/backopy ... that's it. SR2/DPR is the market I trust the most at the moment, and I expect them to be honest in the long run. If I had to bet TorMarket is going to go Sheepish eventually, but the moral of the story is this:
Always behave as if the FBI is running the market you're using. Encrypt everything, tumble everything, and never keep more BTC on the market than you can afford to lose.

I don't trust any of them, as none of them have been open very long. The only way I would ever use any of the current marketplaces would be out of pure desperation or with the knowledge that being scammed is a very real, not at all unlikely, possibility.

Besides bmr i trust none else and since bmr is closing i opened my own shop. For the moment im only selling fishscale cocaine.

TM by far. I have used both SR 2.0 and TM with successful orders from both. I find the UI so much better and TM functions better faster and the community of on the forums seems to be better. Also evening that I read from this new DPR pisses me off and he did not share the same ideals as the real DPR.

If we're talking just trust not to scam users, SR 2.0
I think TorMarket is a better market in many other respects though, and that is the one I use.
I trust Backopy at BMR 100x more than either of them though.

tormarket by FAR.
Just cant imagine putting any bitcoins onto sr 2.0 when i keep reading on these forums on the sr forums about people losing bitcoins, auto finalization out of nowhere, etc..
tor market so far has been a goo dexperience. ill report back when my first order comes in a day or two. best part is how you pay for the item.
i decided what i wnated to buy, went on localbitcoin, bought the bitcoins with cash by paying at 711, then sent to my digital wallet. then i checked out on tormarket with no money in my account at which point you get a unique address to send you rmoney to (you have 3 hours).
WIthin 20 minutes my order was marked as paid and a few hours later i had tracking already.
I am not trying to report the market what i am trying to do is give you my reasons why.
i feel like a choice like this deserves more than a simple vote. this is our freedom.

My vote goes to TM.
Haven't used TMP though so can't comment on that. But from what I hear there is a shortage of vendors.

You could always pick a market that you didn't have to trust. P2SH solves a lot of problems with escrow.
Right now the tools for p2sh transactions are minimal, but that's a technological problem that can be solved.

TorMarket and SR 2.0, although many people have complained about SR 2.0 DPR's personality.

BMR remains the only market I trust. It's nearly as old, if not older than the original Silkroad. Backopy has shown himself to be trustworthy several times. They got hit with the DDOS as bad as any other market but had almost no down time.
There is probably a gem among the new markets. But most of them will probably get rolling and then bail when they see a big enough number to be worth stealing. It's profitable and more safe than running an ongoing market. Why do anything else?
I hope BMR returns with v5, but I can just contact my favourite vendor via pgp encrypted email anyway.

I actually really like FloMarket I've made two purchases there with no problems. Actually once I didn't receive my digital order and the Admin gave me a full refund.
TorMarket
