I contacted USPS about so called "delays" because that seems to be a common excuse with vendors when packages are not delivered on time. They always seem to blame USPS, when in reality they are marking it shipped BEFORE they ship it out! I was told if a package is shipped via priority, it is GUARANTEED to arrive within 1-3 days unless USPS issues a service alert on their website! So, vendors need to stop using "USPS has some delays" as an excuse and start being more honest and credible with their customer base. I asked USPS if the holiday season would have any delay on PRIORITY mail, and they told me it would not. The only exception of course is mail won't ship during USPS holidays or on Sunday. It is extremely unprofessional to mark a package as shipped before it is truly shipped. Also, certain vendors have claimed "I dropped it in the box, P.O hasn't picked it up yet" However, certain vendors don't use pre-paid labels for priority boxes so they CAN'T drop it in the box, they have to go into the office and pay CASH for the priority service.
