Anything to watch out for Local Bit Coins?

I'm in the US and have used Coinbase and Circle but ran into weird stuff like Coinbase taking away their instant buy option and Circle while letting you use a debit for instant buy, they keep delaying everything by saying that "there were a few more things they needed to check on". Since time is quite a factor for me right now, I got into Local Bit Coins and made a meeting for tomorrow with a nearby client and was just wondering if there were any red flags or things I should be aware of like does LBC act as a wallet and so far it seems to remain pretty anonymous up to now.

Just if anyone has some advice/warnings about LBC I sure would be thankful for input. Like I'm not even sure if I calculated the price right for what I need to purchase.

Thanks ahead of time. Oh, and Happy 4th!

LBC should be irrelevant eventually. The seller ask rates are retarded high, even for cash deals. If you have a btc ATM near you, just pay the 2.5%-5% and avoid it. you're getting ripped off on LBC. or just open an exchange account and tumble appropriately.

IDK about in person trades, but I'm gonna make a new account and satrt doing that, last time I tried to get btc through WU my first WU transfer was blocked, had to call support to get a refund. Then LBC put a hold on my account and made me verify ID.

I think I might just find a local trader and ask if I can just trade without involving LBC and see what they say, I fucking hate LBC now.

Well....

The first thing I noticed is that roughly 95% of the people you're going to attempt to meet up with, are fucking dipshits. Most almost NEVER have coin, even though they advertise having $10,000+ limits. Most charge ridiculous fees and you'll be lucky if someone actually shows up to meet with you when you want to make a purchase.

I've gotten lucky, where I've met guys willing to but a shit ton of coin at above market value, but there are a lot of dumbasses, man. Out of the two guys who have actually showed up for high value deals, only one of them wasn't a complete spergelord, autismo faggot.

I'm talking, the guy sat with me for TWO hours after I finished the entire deal, telling me about how all of his partners are stupid, and that he started everyone on LBC, etc.

Why meet in person? I mean sure there's some added anonymity but you could easily get an Amex serve card or something and simply buy them. Yeah the price will be a bit more than meeting in person but if you look at the right times you can actually get it for only a very small percentage above market value. To me the convenience of being able to immediately order more if I decide I want more and to be able to sit on my ass at home for the entire transaction is worth it.

Should go without saying but just make sure you don't transfer straight from LBC wallet to DNM wallet, personally I tumble before it even goes to my "personal" wallets from which I send to DNM wallets.
