I could be wrong but the idea here is to be set for life right? Not have to worry about anything, bills? They have accomplished this goal. Basically they have a bank account that never runs out. You could argue that BTC value would go down over time and it would be better to quickly convert to fiat but you can also argue the other way too and the stolen money will increase times 10. All they have to do is cash out what they need every month even if that's 10-20k a month that's an insane amount to live on especially if you are living in a third world paradise. They are probably both young and tech savvy, the argument that it's impossible to cash this out is only true if hey try to cash it out all at once.

They are (supposedly) "expert" carders, maybe they'll farm out the cash-outs to a network of people like carders do with stolen ATM cards? Or they could sell the coins below-market-value to other people in the fraud world who have experience laundering money.

Not as difficult as it seems.
BTC to large investory to offshore banking.
Honestly with Kimble and vetos Connections I doubt it will take too long.

I really don't understand the point of them stealing 32 million they were making $150,000 a month before they pulled the scam and Im pretty sure they didn't cash out the $150,000 in btc every month so there is no really point to want more money.
Just very slowly, bit by bit
