[Complaint/Warning] EVO admin

been in two disputes for almost a month now, just got one resolved the other day thanks to the shitty vendor as the mod handling my case clearly sided with him rather than the customer (me) as he let him be continuously vague and non-responsive. not even seconding me when i asked for vendor to send reship proof to at least the mod. whatever, this other dispute is over 10 BTC and i may be tripping, but the vendor has completely dropped off the map (not even a log in since 1/27 so the mod tells me.... a week ago now that in two days if he continues to be non-responsive than we will settle without the vendor. two days go by and i get a message saying that i need to wait three more days because this is somehow a special circumstance due to the BTC amount. it has been 4 and still non response from Evilgrin. whatever you do folks stay away from evo and their extremely shitty "customer sevice" as they would clearly rather side with a half ass vendor that never sent shit or responded to me

also wanted to add the fact that evilgrins response time (when it was concerning me waiting longer) was rapid.. now that the time has come he seems to be "too busy" i'm sure that's the excuse i'll get

*UPDATE the assholes finally gave my shit back! let this be a warning to anyone considering evo for large purchases, thanks everyone for your support!

I wouldn't be surprised if EVO shuts down the vendor and tells you they didn't catch him in time to stop the "withdrawal". Meanwhile that 10 BTC silently goes to evo.

This pisses me off to no end. They have one friggin job to do - provide a safe reliable escrow. Otherwise they are just a fuckin message board that takes a percentage. This is why I would rather deal off-market and take my chances, rather than sit around with nothing to do while they are "handling" the dispute.

I prefer to make bigger deals in person with my local connects for this exact reason. I will NOT be making deals with anything larger than 1 BTC over Evo. Not while this bullshit with the admins is happening

The behavior and mentality just from the last Evo member here on the forums was enough to put me off Evo forever.

Apperently the Evo team is risking their lives on a daily basis and doing it out of the kindness of their hearts. Also their job is like, really really hard dudes.

You know, ignoring the fact they get paid well, they allow sketchy vendors to sell on Evo, cause who cares if people get scammed cause Evo still makes their cut, removing reviews and basically flipping off their customers.

Telling people to get fucked, encouraging people to leave their market and everything in between just tells me Evo doesn't care and they won't care until they stop making money.

If I had the ability I'd rat the entire team out just because of their shitty behavior.

I've been saying this, Evo always sides with the vendor in disputes. I treat ordering from Evo like I treat FEing, because their escrow is complete crap. I'll order on Evo if I can trust the vendor, just like I will FE if it's required and I can trust the vendor. If you are considering ordering from a vendor you cannot trust then order from Agora, because they have actual unbiased escrow. Things like this are the reason that Evolution needs to be on the active market warnings or the wall of shame.

I also had a similar issue with EvilGrin, how did you manage to get your funds back? It's now out of everyone's hands since the whole Evo scam but I'm still curious. Had he in fact sent the goods but after the date he said or had he simply never sent anything?
