7 steps towards minimizing "pack-paranoia" (A personal users guide)

This post is geared more towards personal use buyers. I noticed a few post regarding CD's and would like to share some thoughts on this subject.

As DNM users we should all understand that this is not Amazon. By choosing to use the markets, we are commiting FELONIES. The type of shit that gets folks thrown in "ass raping prison" for long periods of time. No one should ever think otherwise nor should this reality be taken lightly. For buyers, our greatest threat comes from pack delivery.

I'm a firm believer in keeping things in moderation. I believe there is a such thing as a "healthy" amount of skepticism, but full blown paranoia can become all too real, all too quick and for many of us it's probably the worst part about using the markets.

I would like to go over some tips that would mitigate much of the stress inducing "freak-outs" many of us have suffered at some point or another.

So you see something you want on one of the markets and you have coin to get it. Before you take the plunge into the dark side, having these steps in place will put your mind a little more at ease with the whole process.

  1. Being that these are tips for small time buyers, keep your orders domestic. The chances of an interception are drastically reduced and deliveries are much quicker. NEVER disclose your DNM activities to people IRL. Every person who knows about what you do decreases your security dramatically.

  2. Selecting a well reviewed vendor with good ratings is a great start. You'll feel better knowing there will be less fuck ups on their end. Even if the price is a little steeper, you'll get what you pay for. Other than that, it's in their hands. That is why vendor research is so important. It limits the stress on that aspect.

  3. Using TAILS (or something similar) and making sure that you use PGP (your own, not the markets) for all sensitive info relayed to the vendor. Staying opsexy is a great way to feel less paranoid about an order.

  4. Having a SPOTLESS and VERY CLEAN drop well before the pack is supposed to arrive. This is probably the most important tip I can offer. It will alleviate almost 75% of your stress due to concerns over a CD.

  5. Not checking the tracking at all, unless a substantial or abnormal amount of time has passed without delivery. It would be even less stressful to never check it. The sub is filled with "HELP! is this normal for tracking, vendor shipped 5 hours ago" post everyday. Patience truly is a virtue around here.

  6. If the steps above have been taken, paranoia should be at a minimum. Try and go about like there is no pack expected. Just go on about everyday life as usual. Remember these are tips for stress relief due to pack paranoia. Out of sight, out of mind.

  7. Know your rights. Be prepared to say nothing to LE and to lawyer up. Remember "you had no idea that stuff like that was ever coming to you". Having this mind set will empower you and limit some of the negative feelings associated with pack paranoia.

Taking the above steps almost guarantees that even if (like a snow-balls chance in hell) a CD is imminent, they have nothing and you will walk. I hope these tips can help some of you and will give some relief to the scurge that is pack-paranoia. If anyone has anything to add that would help please let us know. Be smart, stay safe.

What would you do in this hypothetical situation. You have been ordering for years with no problems and every order is accounted for besides ONE order that has been ordered a month prior from a very respectable Canadian vendor. So you order something totally legal from the clearnet and its in a decent sized box that wont fit in the mail box by a longshot, so you goto the post office to pick it up and the employee seems overly interested in whats in the box by asking, "so whatd ya order?" so you said of thats some stuff i ordered from store name and he looks at the the return label that doesnt have the strore name but the street name is a word in the store name and hes like oh yep, that must be what it is. Also the box looked like it had been tampered with, could have been from being handled rough in transit though. Would that raise your suspicions? Or totally normal, nothing to see here?

Very solid post, Angel. Thank you for posting this.

5 and #6 tie closely together IMO. Not hitting the submit button on the tracking page, like a coked up mouse in an experiment, will make it much easier to act as if (will just typing this call the automod??) there is no pack expected.

If someone sees tracking that states the package has been delivered, a gust of wind could make them look sketchy AF. It is so much easier to give off the aura that you are an upstanding law abiding citizen if you have not been feverishly trying to confirm that the pack will be there waiting for you.

You are so spot on that minimizing stress and not having a pack attack (has this term been coined yet?) will prevent much paranoia.

Really only 2 steps IMO. Step 1: Use common sense. Step 2: Don't be a pussy lil cunt.

Awesome advice on pretty much everything , one of the reason why choose only one for whatever and yeah starting off with domestic is the best , everyone who has never really wants to order but just feels too risky and as mention its just one time and its all over so overseas through custom you just have to really get use to everything and then also again the feedback and how they are packaging. Don't even know what else to add at this point, honestly the best 7 tips for everyone.
