AUSSIES, WHERE NOW?

So I don't think any of us are going to trust anything that even rhymes with a single syllable of SR ever again but there was a good amount of domestics on there for us. OTBS was awesome and I'm hoping against hope that he saw my finalizing before it went down (was only 10 hours before clusterfuck was initiated so not a great chance :( )

Where now?

I feel so sorry for you guys and your customs. I hope you find some good Australian vendors.

Yeah, Its very frustrating. maybe when SR2.0 comes back up we can post here where the Aus domestic vendors state they are going to so we can keep track of it.

TMP seems like a safe bet. They've always used multi-sig transactions, so it's simply impossible for the admins to abscond with the coins (They never control them, the site itself has no wallet), and as such, if they're hacked, there's no coins residing on the site to be stolen. Not to mention they seem quite security concious (either mandatory or very strongly encouraged (It's been a while since I've been involved in this scene, so I can't quite recall) PGP usage, and the site will bitch at you in a very noticible manner (huge banner) if you've left JavaScript enabled)

The downside is that it is a little bit more technically involved to use than the more common centralised-wallet markets. There is however, a pretty good guide over on r/themarketplace, which can be found here
