There are some people that are gonna get phished no matter what. You could hire someone to stand behind them and say "don't click that link!" and they still would.

This subreddit seems to be the ultimate tool for propaganda against and/or for markets. I am just staying away from AB, but who knows, maybe some other market is behind it, but I doubt it. The truth is; if you'd combine all other markets, include EVO and Agora, you'd have 10-20 times the amount of listings, yet maybe 1/10 the amounts of complaints. Now tell me that isn't shady at all? I hope AB turns out just fine. But if they decide to exit scam I am going to have zero empathy for anyone who has lost their money on there.

With this new implementation, I think I've figured out what my new main market is! I think we can all agree now that AB is the safest market, because no other market has maximum security as AB does.

IT NOW DEFAULTS US ALL TO BEING ONLY 80% SECURE!!! WE MUST ALL DOUSE OUR COMPUTERS AND INTERNETS IN GASOLINE AND LIGHT A MATCH BEFORE RUNNING FOR THE HILLS.

The Grand Wizard applauds AlphaBay's efforts to promote better security amongst its users. Our only suggestion would be to require 2FA for vendors and buyers alike. The constant phishing complaints have done real damage to AB's reputation. With mandatory 2FA those complaints should soon become a thing of the past.
(Yes, we have heard of the MiTM attacks that can steal information on the fly: ATGWUI they are exceedingly rare and simple phony sign-in pages far more common. Those attacks may garner a phisher some name/PW combinations but those are useless without the owner's private key).
And if you are reading this and you have not enabled 2FA on all your accounts, you should do so immediately. It only adds a few seconds to your login time and it can save you a whole lot of bitcoins.

The security percentage is based on PGP, 2FA, purchase PIN, PIN strength (not being a common phrase), and having "shared access" users who don't use 2FA. That's the next best thing to forcing purchase PIN + 2FA down the throat of everyone, which would overload the support ticket system with "forgot PIN" tickets.
The average of those settings gives a percentage from 0-100 and there are recommendations under the "Progress bar" like "click here to enable 2FA", etc.
Mine is completely red, shows a guy holding a fishing pole and says "Youve already been phished" is that bad?
