If I send a parcel from Japan Post using SAL, 2kg why is this deemed a Postal Parcel? Whereas goods sent through a freight forwarder with a VOCC/NVOCC license is considered to be a proper import?
Doesn't Japan Post (or any other national post) provide a freight service where parcels have to be cleared through customs?
Various national postal services sign a postal treaty whereas shipping carriers don't - even so, to get the stuff in, how does one go about finding a reliable carrier that is cheap - DHL/FedEx are couriers and they typically charge an arm for Door-to-Door.
Do national postal services offer FOB etc (incoterms)?
