Why would someone prefer SR 2.0, say.. over BMR (even, god forbid, SMP)?

Backopy has already proven himself immensely with the the reimbursement of EVERYONE's bitcoins moments after the temporary scare. SR 2.0 has... quite frankly, not SHIT, to show. I don't understand everyone's security flock to SR 2, besides the fact that it bares a similar name to the former god of the online black markets. Someone please explain to me this rise in undeserved popularity.

Quite frankly, BMR has a shit design.

No, really, that is mostly it. Vendors and products are hard to find and compare. That's why SMP ever took off; everyone was ragging on it being a honeypot and/or ran by retards with no opsec but people still preferred it over BMR because it was easier to navigate.

But SR2 wins over both BMR and SMP when it comes to the community. The SR2 forums design is easily the most familiar to everyone and all the important threads were rebuilt from ground up.

Also, SR 2.0 actively worked to rebuild its vendor base by aggressive promotion, verifications and free accounts for old vendors. It's now hosting a few of the best SR1 vendors who decided to wait and not move on to other marketplaces (like most star LSD vendors).

Instead of wading through a sea of scammers on a terribly designed site with a completely different community, you go to SR2.0 and find most of your old vendors already there, PGP-verified with all your old community threads right there on the forums. That's gotta be worth something, even if it means losing a few bucks on your first purchase if something goes wrong.

They shouldn't.
It's not a honeypot (that would be more professionally designed) but it is very underdeveloped, and releasing a underdeveloped blackmarket site is not exactly a good idea.
They are releasing in a staggered method to test for bugs (they claim it's for traffic), this should be done in private with a few vendors and test buyers, not with actual sales.
Then they show their general nature by poking at the SR Bust by putting up a mocking background on the login page. Subtle.
