Ok, I know it sounds like a noob question, but I am not a noob. I have purchased over $4,000 worth of goods from various darknet markets over the last two years. It's just that recommended sites are always changing and I sometimes fall behind.
I always used to use blockchain.info, then the TOR blockchain website as the last intermediate step to send my BTC through, after tumbling them, before sending them to the market. But now I am weary about that because I heard they stole people's coins.
Right now my coins are on Bitcoin Fog, waiting to be withdrawn. The marketplace destination is Nucleus. I could just send them direct, however I don't know whether Nucleus automatically changes the deposit address after any amount is received (like Evo did) or not. I don't want to risk losing the rest of my coins this way with Fog's multiple withdrawals. Does Nucleus change the deposit addresses?
I just spent a frustrating amount of time creating a new anon email and then a wallet with BitGo.com, only to find that it requires a valid phone number for 2FA. UGH!!!
I would consider using an offline wallet like Electrum since that seems to be popular, however I'm weary that this could be traced to my computer, no? As the last step pre-marketplace, I don't know how I feel about this...
Can anyone suggest a reliable anonymous online wallet??? Please. I am very tired and frustrated and just want my bitcoins on Nucleus already so I can buy the good kush and alcohols. -_-
Thanks.
Any online wallet on the tor network will most certainly steal your coins. Always use a bitcoin wallet that's fully in your control, in your computer, such as electrum. Electrum can be difficult to set up if your new to those kind of things, but a couple of quick searches will help you out.
Also, BitcoinFog selectively scams, so I would stay away. Use Grams Helix if you're set on tumbling. Theres so much controversy on whether or not tumbling truly does anything, but I won't go into it. Its your decision.
I am not sure if Nucleas changes a deposit address after a confirmed deposit. Why not just deposit like 3 $5 deposits and see if it changes?
