Joinmarket over Tor

My tried and true method of getting BTC anonymously has come to an end. It sucks because I was a real big fan of hiding that I was even purchasing coin in the first place.

I've decided to move over to joinmarket for tumbling. I want it to run over TOR. ssl and socks5 both need to be checked correct? Does the standard port (not socks5) need to be changed. Also is their a place I can look for a reliable tor host so I dont have to rely on the clearnet domain?

Edit: To anyone wondering, ssl and socks5 both need to be checked. You need the port for socks5 at 9150.

why not just boot up in tails, download the scripts and go? your traffic should be routed through tor automatically, and joinmarket isn't too had to use. you just need to generate a wallet file and then run the tumbler python script

For such a careful guy im suprised you are willing to bet you freedom on coinjoin. Did they ever fix the timing attacks its vulnerable to?

I have been trying to get what you're doing working with the full node option. I tried tailsjoin, routing through tor manually, even alt coins like Monero. The ONLY solution that works for my consistently is to use Whonix and run joinmarket through it (adjusted to route through tor of course).

The blockr source option for tailsjoin works fine, however. Wouldn't recommend it, though.
