I have a friend who is many years suffering from worst form of Alcoholism. Can you cure alcoholism using Cocaine?

I mean darkmarket can make cocaine very cheap for him, should I give him advice to use it, if we have enough money for cocaine? I mean money isn't problem - his problem with alcoholism is the problem, he's litterally dying on our eyes from year to year.

I'd rather try Lsd than Cocaine to cure alcoholism

[14 Points] None:

Yes, cocaine to cure alcoholism is second only in effectiveness after heroin to cure cigarette smoking.

[11 Points] LordDongler:

No, but a massive dose of shrooms should do the trick

[5 Points] sinn0304:

Why, or better yet how, could cocaine possibly cure alcoholism? If anything it's only going to make his addiction cravings worse.

[3 Points] smokeout3000:

The truth is, a strong hallucinogenic experience can create a positive change in behavior like abstaining from alcohol for example. The even harder truth is that addiction cannot be cured by changing the addiction. The opposite must be substituted, or connection, rather. I would recommend mushrooms as psilocybin will reconnect you with life, and under the right therapeutic setting, life free of alcohol dependance.

Even moreover, when cocaine is taken with alcohol it creates a strong cardio toxin that will cause permanent heart damage if abused.

You'll just substitute one addiction for another. Get the dude some help, not just another drug to fill the void.

[2 Points] d-i-r-t-y-w-e-e-d:

if you really want to save him, you need to introduce him to psychedelics. LSD or DMT in decent doses are known to give life changing experiences. I suggest you have your friend go into a very heavy trip with the mindset "I will be a changed man when I am through with this" though it might not definitely help, it's a much better idea than cocaine lol.

I've heard that if you want to be free of addiction, an intense Ibogaine trip is what you need. Never tried it myself though.

Remember, if someone doesn't want to get help, then they're not going to change. Does your friend truly want to recover from alcoholism?

[2 Points] throwaway8089078:

Cocaine is a stimulant and alcohol is a depressant so in theory one addiction should cancel out the other.

Try a long lasting benzo like Valium, they're both fans receptor antagonists and Valium has a very long half life and would knock you out for a good nights sleep. That always helped with withdrawals was just taking sleep meds and sleeping it off instead of being in agony while awake

[1 Points] rogueXleader:

Nah, that's only likely to make things worse or he'll just turn his addiction to alcohol into an addiction to cocaine. I agree with the other posters...psychedelics are the way to go, especially ibogaine. I've heard it's not a terribly pleasant ride but it's highly effective and most people report having no desire to ever drink again. Wanting that change is something he's going to have to decide for himself though. With addiction running in my family, I can tell you that you can't help somebody who doesn't want help, as painful as it is to watch. I hope your friend beats the struggle and accepts your guidance. It's a good thing you're doing to look out for someone like this

[1 Points] bfsco:

If he has no desire to stop than giving him anything won't particularly help. Have you and your friends expressed your concern for his life to him? Has his family? Fact is, if the guy doesn't see a problem with it and has no desire to stop drinking, he won't. He may get better for a little bit but falling off the wagon is easier than it is to get on...and the only one who can truly make him kick it is himself.

[1 Points] DonethisTimeforGood:

It'll only work if you buy him enough so that he can do it all day every day. And he should probably start chain-smoking, too.

[1 Points] barsonbarson:

hmm, i dunno if cocaine will help, seems like cocaine+alcohol makes a super drug

[1 Points] HumboldtFarms_PR:

maybe iboga root i.e. Ibogaine

[1 Points] Gonadzilla:

What is this, 1852?

[1 Points] MitalikaSucks:

Not sure about cocaine but try baclofen

[1 Points] defiancetime:

I thought this was a joke, in terms of you trying to get him to realize what he's doing to himself and everybody around him I'd babysit and give his ass some mushrooms. I see people saying lsd but for me personally shrooms put all my flaws on front street and put them infront of my face.

What type of question is this? I don't mean to roast you dude but honestly I didn't know they made people this stupid.
