Paranoia or a legit reason to be concerned...?

I have a pack coming internationally via UPS. It was scanned in at customs and the delivery status changed to

"An emergency situation or severe weather condition has delayed delivery."

There's no severe weather. Is this bad? Cleaning house isn't an option because I have drugs hidden in spots I forgot about.

No reason to be alarmed IMHO. If they were inspecting it then it would show as sitting in customs for awhile until it goes dark or suddenly pops up in your city post office.

If they do show up tell them to kiss your ass intill they get a warrant, and also deny ANYTHING they throw at ya involving an illegal package. 98% of the time they will drop the case because of lack of evidence. This is coming from a guy who has had a package compromised.

An emergency situation could mean a myriad of things. Also if it makes you feel better if there was a bust being planned they try very hard to make the involved parties believe it's business as usual so you don't cover your tracks.

> drugs in the mail

From what I've read, if something gets snagged in customs the tracking shows it "inbound into customs" then it just disappears.

If LE is coming for you, they will try to make the tracking look as normal as possible. Might be that customs found it and threw it away.
