Is there a real case to be made that Bitcoin Fog is selectively scamming, or is it FUD and shilling for competitors?

I'm sure we've all seen the warnings/complaints about Bitcoin Fog. Do you think there is any legitimacy to them?

Have any well established members of this community, or vendors, ever made a verifiable complaint about them?

There used to be a warning on the sidebar here, but as of this post it appears to be gone. They are currently listed on the superlist with no warning.

They have certainly been around for a long time, but my theory about mixers is that it is more profitable for a scammer who runs one to selectively scam rather than exit scam, since a lot of money flows through them but it isn't held for more than a few hours. Unlike markets, where the most profitable scam is the exit, since they have large amounts held in escrow and accounts, and word of selective scamming could cause mass withdrawals.

At the same time, a good way for newer mixers to get customers would be to flood DN forums with accusations against your more established competition, i.e. Bitcoin Fog.

What do you folks think of them? I would love to hear your opinions about the legitimacy of the complains, and/or your personal experiences with them.

TL;DR- Bitcoin Fog, yea or nay?

I think it's about time we add a selective scam warning to the wiki entry, doing that now.

If people are spreading FUD about BTC Fog then how come Grams/helix doesn't have the same problems/warnings?

I lost about $100 USD in bitcoin around a year ago to them. According to the blockchain, the deposit went through but it was not in my account and my deposit address had changed. I can't say for certain that it was scammed but their support FINALLY got back to me months later offering vague apologies about their growth, but I never got anything from them beyond that. I have since avoided them.

[2 Points] GeneralStarkk:

I don't think its FUD. I have heard of people losing money on multiple forums, over a period of like a year.

I've used them several times, but one time they failed to pay me on time and I thought they were scamming me. A few days later I ended up getting the money, but I still don't use bitcoin fog anymore because of that. I can't be fuckin around with hundreds of dollars like that.

I can tell you for certainty they have no customer service. Can't tell you one way or the other if they are scammers.

I'm not a shill, you can check my profile, I'm pretty damn legit and I have been scammed by them for .6 bitcoin.

I've been tumbling all my outbound coins through Bitcoin Fog since I started using Silk Road 2 years ago. I've never had a single problem.

I don't know what to make of the scam reports. There's clearly one or two users, one of whom I believe to be TurtleTime/Trevor Wormsley, making phony allegations. But there also seem to be regular users making legit claims of lost coins.

I'm inclined to believe that Bitcoin Fog basically works and isn't intentionally scamming. But that sometimes it's buggy (like its co-site Agora) or users make mistakes, and since there's effectively no support and definitely no PR, Bitcoin Fog gets this tarnished reputation.
