My cheap beer induced thoughts. Tying to navigate troubled waters.

So I'm just so intriged by the drama that is DNM lately and have had just enough cheap beer to gain the courage to openly say some crazy, and yes, some FUD, tinfoiley things.

First:

What are the odds that many market admins & mods were aware of the probability of a large, multinational, effort to attack the DNMs? I'm referencing what I assume to be well known, legit evidence of large scale ddos attacks ongoing at the moment. Could EVO admin have had warning or reason for suspension for something like this to happen. Could that have been a reason for the cowardly exit? IronCloud seems to have vanished as well as of today. The consensus might be that the heat is too hot and nows the time to bail if you're in the in.

Second:

What are the probabilities that vendors might have been in the know of either, or, a large scale ddos and LE crackdown, or markets fucking people over with exit scams? I'm referencing what I see as an increase in vendor warnings and "scam" alerts on forums and le reddit. For the record: I'm very aware that the market as a whole is in turbulent waters at the moment and clearly "things" are happening at a rapid pace. I know a lot of vendors and buyers got screwed on EVO and are flooding traffic setting up shop, finding new markets, finding new vendors, and over all F5'ing the shit out their keyboards. I myself believe to have been screwed over by a vendor on Ag. Order placed last week → confirmed the next day → sat for ~ 2 days as confirmed not shipped → shit hits the fan. I was able to log in briefly two days ago, I'm loosing track of all this BS to be honest, and the vendor hadn't logged-in in 6 days. Was able to verify the same situation with other buyer via reedit. One comment mentions the vendor setting up "vacation mode" earlier today and I haven't been able to log in to check if any replies to my inquires for a loooong while

Final Thoughts.

I see a lot of similar situations happening at a fast pace. Like I said, buyers seem to be non responsive, admins/mods of markets seem to be bailing like it's Armageddon. TOR itself is under attack (as it always is in many ways). WTF is happing? I hope aliens tivo'd this shit.

Also, I understand a lot of sites are "down" for security reasons, and to let the waters calm, rethink, and it's prob good opsec in the long run. As openly and safely as possible though, it's nice to see some reasurance from those admins. Thanks to those who make the effort and risk to do that. I am in no way trying to raise suspession on Ag either. Though, the only time I've been burned was on an order palced there & I was a relativly newb on that site - like many others lately. The point of that experience for me: people in the know are getting the fuck out of Dodge.
