What's stopping a vendor from taking your coin and simply mailing you a fake seizure letter? Has this happened before?

It happens, yes. If you do a search of the sub, there have seen a few times this happened with obviously fake seizure letters people have posted pictures of. There was one within the last couple weeks, and they pop up somewhat often. There are enough images online of genuine seizure letters that the fake ones stand out pretty badly. It's like they're not really even trying.

I always wonder how vendors mail them, but they do. How do you use the post office as a return address without someone in the post office sorting facilities finding it odd.
