When you PGP encrypt your address for an order do you...

Do you use the sellers public PGP or do you have your own and post it on your profile?

I'm using https://www.igolder.com/pgp/encryption/ fyi

DO NOT use a third party site that holds your key such as iGolder, that is completely insecure and could work against you if it ever came down to law enforcement looking into you (not trying to scare you, need to look at the worse case scenario here). If you create a PGP key on a site like that they store your public AND your PRIVATE key, the hint is in the word, it's for you to keep to yourself. Go to /r/DarknetMarketNoobs so you can learn how to use PGP properly. To get you started I'll explain anyway: Download GPG4Win, install the GPA portion of it and then run GPA.exe, create a new key and enter in a strong password for it, make a backup on a USB that you suffice for now.

You can then right click on your key in GPA and click "Copy" which will copy your PUBLIC key this is what OTHER PEOPLE can use to encrypt messages to send to YOU and ONLY YOU. The only person who will be able to decrypt this to read it is YOU because it is YOUR KEY, to decrypt a message sent to you open the clipboard in GPA and paste in the message, press decrypt, select your key and then enter your password and the message will be displayed.

To send an encrypted message to someone else such as your address when sending it to a vendor for a purchase, you must copy their public key from their profile on the market, save it into a txt document using notepad and then click on import on GPA and select the file, now you should realistically shred this file. But now you will see that their public key has been listed with yours within GPA. Enter your message to the vendor in the clipboard and click encrypt, select their key and you're done, copy the encrypted message and send it to them.

So, let's evaluate: Your public key, for use by others to send you an encrypted message.

Your private key, for use by only you to decrypt any messages that were sent to you.

Get it now? Can't be any clearer than that.
