Questions about SAFE ANON SHIPPING (ATT VENDORS)

1) What type of gloves / what thickness of gloves need to be used to prevent fingerprints? I know normal nitrite gloves will still leave fingerprints.. 2) How do you go about using regular TAPE without getting your fingerprints on it? Just looking for general advice, as it's very difficult to handle without touching the bottom... 3) You want to ship a priority mail flat rate box. It costs 5.99. You put a priority mail stamp and first class stamp on it. But how do you get it in those outgoing package boxes without being seen clearly on camera at the PO? They don't fit in the blue boxes outside, and the package drop off is always inside the PO lobby?

Where are the OPSEC / vendor guides / forums ? Where should a person go or look for more information to increase their OPSEC?

Undoubtedly, half of the responses will be "research more" "google xxx" "if you ___ then you shouldnt _____" " not ready to be a vendor" "if you don't know then don't vent" etc. Looking forward to the REAL responses.

How the hell can a fingerprint go through a waterproof nitrile glove? I have heard that somewhere else besides this thread and always wondered how it was possible.

If you need clean shipping labels , we provide that service for a tiny fee . To help starting vendors

I would double up the blue nitrile gloves if you're worried. I doubt it would seriously be a problem since, for one thing, they have tiny little bumps around the fingertips. I've heard of forensics being able to get latent prints from people wearing a single pair of latex gloves, but not nitrile.

You must live in a small city if you can't find a blue collection box that you can drop your packs off into without going into a post office. Or you have not looked hard enough for them. Look for business districts with a lot of business buildings in them. They usually have big blue bins with hamper style doors you can open to drop huge amounts of mail off into them (it's for the businesses around them).

There are 2 ways to locate collection boxes ("blue bins") in your area to drop packs off. 1 is usps.com search for their collection box locator. They have all the locations mapped out on their site. The other is the Payphone-Project a non-govt site that lists payphone and collection box locations. It is not totally up to date, but it's pretty good if you don't want to use USPS' website.

When dropping off packs into blue "collection boxes" and trying to not get your fingerprints on them, you can either put your boxes/envelopes in a large envelope/bag (such as the Priority/Express tyvek envelopes available at post offices or the very large brown paper envelopes you can find at officemax/target/walmart/etc.) with the end of it left open so you can turn it upside down and all your packs drop out of the bag into the collection box. You may have to stick half of the bag/large envelope into the blue bin to make this work for you, but it is entirely doable. Alternatively, you can coat your hands with liquid bandage (found at drug stores eg. Walgreens/CVS/RiteAid). It's pretty annoying to have on your hands but this may be preferable.

Check out the Agora Forums. There is probably some good info there. I know there was a lot of good info on the SR forums.
