[CR]Be cautious with the new Cannabis Road

Mourning the loss of my favorite market, Cannabis Road, I was excited when I saw the link to the new incarnation of the site, and gleefully made a new account on it. Sketchilly though, when I signed into it, it displayed a "Welcome to Alpacca!" message. Does anyone know about any affiliation between CR and Alpacca?

Something seems a bit sketchy to me, I don't plan on doing business there...

Alpaca is in fact administering the cannabis road marketplace. If you search through some of the recent cannabis road threads the admins are all public and open about it; it's no secret.

No comment on whether you should trust either entity.

CR2 is the new SR2. Just stay away.

I was burned $40 from CR1, which I'll admit isn't a whole lot. Unless they restore old accounts and reimburse lost funds, I don't see any reason to do business there.

There are plenty of other marketplaces that have much better track records.

EDIT/UPDATE: Please disregard what's below pertaining to the issue I was having. The error was entirely on my end. Eleftheria was nothing but quick and responsive in trying to correct this matter, but through some confusion on my end and a deeper look at what I had done, it turns out I was not using the market's "seamless" multisig, and instead fudged setting up manual multisig on my account.

Last week, either Thursday or Friday I figured I'd try out the new CR. (ECC's got LSD in stock! Sweet!) So I set up an account, which includes putting in a return address for BTC if an order is cancelled or disputed. I loaded up the BTC for a half ounce and proceeded with the purchase. At the last step of the transaction I noticed I messed up setting up multi-sig, so I cancelled the order......and the BTC's gone.

I sent a message to one of the mods today. Hopefully they'll help resolve it, but after 4 or 5 days I still haven't received my BTC back. It's possible I just fudged their system, but I'm already anticipating I took a $170 loss to these guys...
