Over a month ago I placed an order without doing sufficient research on the vendor. Afterwards I found out this person was a selective scammer, but since it was my first order there was a decent chance of me getting it. Eventually I had to dispute the order because it never arrived and I won the dispute and received full refund. Well, Today I have a notice about an express mail envelope at the post office. Not having any orders outstanding I checked the tracking and noticed it is from last month and the timeline matches almost exactly with my order, which also included overnight shipping.
So now this package has been chilling at the post office for a month and is gonna be returned in a few days. Since I got a full refund, My thought is that it's not worth the risk to go down and get it just on the hope of getting free drugs. But then, the return address is probably fake so if the package isn't already burned and the return address goes to the wrong person, they will likely call the police and the only real address they will have to start an investigation is mine.
TL/DR: Package went missing for a month, now it's found. Not out any money so deciding if it's riskier to let it get returned to sender or clean house and go pick it up.
I had a express pack that I sent last summer take 3 weeks. It got to its destination just fine.
Can you give us more details about the tracking? did it sit anywhere for a long time or did it just bounce around a lot?
There are a couple of USPS distribution centers which are known as black holes... one notorious distribution center is in california. The packs can sometimes sit there for days or weeks or months before continuing on their way normally.
What drug is it and what quantity?
Usually for a CD they will try to get the pack to you ASAP so that you aren't suspicious. They wouldn't typically hold on to it for a whole month.
If I were you, I would clean house and pick it up. After all, if you didn't know it was drugs, isn't that what you would do?
