I'm gonna use SWIM even tho this shit ain't me. IDGAF what you think I just want to hear how this fucking occurs to someone.
Somehow SWIM received a text message from a # giving their full name, an address somewhat close to them, and other information claiming they knew they were reeving "suspicious" packages - aka the person knew they had been receiving drugs in the mail.
SWIM always used PGP when sending any information.
SWIM always posted on here with throwaway's with TOR.
Now here's where shit could've gone wrong for SWIM.
SWIM used Windows 7 for everything. Most likely a cause. Obviously TAILS is a better solution but SWIM was lazy.
SWIM used the application SureSpot once to communicate with a vendor. Even though it's labeled as a Peer to Peer messaging client with encryption there could possibly still be a security flaw.
This person could very well be reading this fucking thread, and somehow they managed to dox SWIM.
I personally am just wondering how this can fucking happen to someone, SWIM just told me and is spooked out their fucking mind. I honestly have no fucking clue how this actually happens to someone using precautions such as PGP.
Is it possible a vendor leaked information?
There's no way this is LE either because they would just show up at your door, why would they bother with these kind of BS scare tactics?
Puts on tinfoil hat
Edit: SWIM also just revealed that they mentioned these activities to "a friend", and that they are acting weird now. This "friend" claims to have received said text messages as well. SWIM believes it might be his landlord for whatever odd reason, but may be just spooked at the moment.
