I don't buy coins through localbitcoins.com but I run all my coins through there and I store my leftover coins there.. just wondering if anyone sees a problem with that?
Edit.. I send my coins straight from localbitcoins.com to market

concerned about keeping my coins safe from thieves or mishaps
Web-hosted wallets put you at greatest risk in this regard. Paper wallets would be safest, but less convenient. Unless you see a solution more suited to your specific needs, the consensus points to Electrum.

I can understand why you would use LBC as an online wallet. It's very secure with its 2fa verification with the sheet of codes and second email verification. And it doesn't take much other than an email or Facebook verification (all of which can be a random/anonymous account) to be a part of LBC. Electrum is just as good and you can restore wallets using the 12 word seed. Look into using electrum in addition to your LBC wallet.

Keep it on breadwallet if you have an iphone. Write down the 12 word seed on a piece of paper and keep it somewhere safe to recover in case you lose your phone.

If it were me, I would keep the btc I use on DNM's separate from my normal BTC. Only hold enough DNM BTC for your purchase so there is only change on any online wallets. If you need more then acquire enough for what you intend to buy (with a small buffer). That way you can use an online wallet because the risk is small and the time for attack is very small.

Thanks yall.. someone inboxed me promoting bitshadow or something like that... they said localbitcoins.com is notorious for freezing accounts for sending coins directly from lbtc to dnm.. any truth to that?
