Poor guy... he really is the reason we're all here right now.. always gotta give admiration to Mr. Ross. Some random american kid, blowing everyones minds. Who wouldda thunk

I'd love to read the reports about the six people that died. I'd bet you anything they OD'd from taking too much and not doing their research.

I wonder what would Ross would think seeing the state of the markets now

[3 Points] stopsayingfetch:

considering what few avenues they have at this point prior to sentencing I'd say this is a pretty good strategy, especially because it's true.

[2 Points] UDNM:

If this is taken into consideration... Well lets just say it will be a big slap in the face to the war on drugs.

[2 Points] ThePedanticCynic:

Well that's a shitty defense. Like the government gives a fuck about what's best for its citizens. If it did, the Silk Road wouldn't have even needed to exist.

[1 Points] Underthearchway:

Doesn't matter. He's fucked regardless.

From where i come from guy would have gone to prison for 10 years.

pulling at straws, appeal the process first, then appeal on ground other than those specific to your trial. NOT A LAWYER

And honestly, Ulbricht's right. At least in my case.

I know the cocaine I did last night was at least safe, thanks to the great guys that are sending it to a European lab to test it. I'm not sure if linking is allowed in this sub but there is a thread in the agora forums where you can find the results of mass chromatograph testing of product on the market.

If I was going buy it on the street, I would be almost guaranteed to get product cut with dangerous substances.

For someone like me, the DNM is invaluable.

This argument is a double edge sword. n't Does it make buying drugs safer? Yeah.

But it will also cause more people to indulge and buy and try drugs they normally wouldn't have, because it's a bit safer.

Someone who has no idea where to buy heroin, but it curious, probably won't go cruising the ghetto looking to score. But offer them the ability to have it safely delivered to their home, and that curiosity can turn into full blown addiction real quick.

So, yeah, it might make transactions safer for people already buying and doing drugs. But it will also increase the number of people willing to start buying and doing drugs... because it's safer to get.

I'm sorry. But if I built the street corner dealers hung out on, it doesn't fucking make me responsible for what they do there.

[0 Points] Hank_Vendor:

Hope he some days gets out. And can at least enjoy some of the rest of his life.

. . . This is just a turf war anyway. Only people allowed to sell drugs in the US is the government.

I know a personal friend that died from OD'ing on silk road drugs, but I doubt that was reported. usually people don't care too much after the overdose happens to question where they got it
