Anonymous secure browser question

A few months back I stumbled upon a commercial browser for a completely anonymous and secure web browsing experience. It did not use/store/leave behind any remnants from a session. I think it was priced at like $699 or something but I can't seem to find it or remember the name. Anyone have any idea what it Is? TIA

$699!?

anyone with knowledge would now this is a scam!

you can get a tor plus browser for $999 monthly subscription (12 months, single months is available for 1299$), anything below that price is surely a fake!

Nope. But my guess is that someone forked the TBB source code, re-branded it, and slapped a large price tag to make you think it's worth a damn. If anything claims to be 'completely anonymous' and 'secure', you can safely ignore everything else they say. It's snake oil and, if my guess is right, it's unlikely to receive all the critical updates that TBB receives on the main code branch.

Stick to the real deal. Take that money you're considering dropping on that and donate it to torproject.org or the EFF. It'll be well-spent.

run your system off a cd sans hard drive to not store data from your sessions.
