Gel Tabs vs. Paper Tabs

you have to boof gel tabs in order for them to work

Gel tabs don't require the purchase of sheets of blotter paper - which although doesn't seem like a big risk, is another small thing that can bite a vendor which is why some vendors opt to go the gel tab route. Back to your question, gel tabs are basically identical in handling, just make sure to not let them get too warm or else depending on the blend of gelatin, might make the gel tabs 'melt' a bit and stick to things (happened to us with a few 2C-B gel tabs that we left out in the sun inside a box and they stuck to the box much like glue). Best way to handle is under your tongue ;)

Gel tabs are made out of a sugar based gelatin. They can hold their strength for a longer time and dissolve quickly in your mouth. They are fast acting and do not decay as fast. Blotters on the other hand can decay at very fast rates take a longer time to dissolve. and will absorb through your fingers.
