Buying Bitcoin with cash, what to expect?

Decided I'm going to get some coin for cash near a local city and was wondering which wallet would be best and what to expect really. I'm not too worried about personal saftey as I am getting everything to go smoothly and the possibility of having the coin traced back to me (using bitcoinfog, but still). Has anyone dealt with this in the past? Should I give them a fake name if they ask? Avoid giving them a cell number? Any suggestions on to or not to do it? Any help would be appreciated!

Edit: Sorry for some grammar

Why not use cash deposit via LBC? Generally you can gets coins at better rate that way (at least in my area) and can do anonymous cash deposit, where they won't ask for your name or number.

get the mycelium wallet app to have on your phone so you have something to transfer your coins into when you buy them. then get either multibit or electrum (both good, lightweight wallet programs) to put on your local machine where you can store your coins.

Pretty simple if you want to meet in person. Ive only done it a couple times but the guy I met with seems chill. Get mycelium and have them transfer them to your wallet on your smart device. Mycelium also has bitstamp or w.e else you wanted to use to compare the current bitcoin prices.

I tell him how much, he punches it into mycelium (I make sure to do the math too), then i show him the money and he scans my QR code. After this I make sure to confirm the coins are being transferred (should see it withing a minute on mycelium). his take is 7% cut for instant coins.

Never exchanged names or numbers just our screen names on localbitcoin.

Always meet at a public place too(try during the day), can never be too safe.
