Is TOR over WIFI secure?

I understand TOR actually encrypts all data, but if you are using a laptop with a wifi connection, your computer broadcasts the information, as opposed to hardwired connection from a tower computer.

If your WIFI password was somehow hacked, wouldn't a third party hiding within wifi range be able to see everything you're doing on the network?

Change your password every week and relax.

Tor is literally designed to secure traffic that's sent over hostile/malicious networks.

Other people on the wifi network, including the network administrator themself or anyone else who has the WiFi encryption key, would only be able to see that you're using Tor in general, like millions of ordinary people do every day, but nothing at all of what you're doing with it. And if you use obfs4 Bridges, even detecting that you're using Tor is very difficult - but this should not be necessary unless you live in a place like Iran or China.

It's still generally a good idea to spoof your MAC address when using a wifi network that isn't yours, though.
