I know it's a bit off-topic, but I just wanted to take the time to thank the men and women who have sacrificed to defend our freedoms. On Memorial Day, it's especially important to remember the people who have served to preserve our freedom of speech. Have several friends that are vets with PTSD and medical MJ has literally saved their lives. I would be surprised if there aren't some veterans that frequent this sub. And just about everyone has someone in their family who has served. Just wanted to say thank you. Don't want this to devolve into a political debate over war or anything like that. This is simply a post to thank veterans
This really isn't an appropriate subreddit for this kind of post. While I'm sure you had good intentions, Memorial Day is only celebrated in the United States, so this kind of comes across as U.S-centric. I imagine that American foreign policy and its "support your troops" mentality are also very divisive issues here that won't lead to any sensible, on-topic conversation.
