This should be coming in powdered form and if it is true hcl, it should be really strong. I want to take it orally. I don't fuck with needles. I had patches years ago, my buddy would take the gel out and smoke it. I'd wear the patch a few days. Anyways I have about a 100mg oc tolerance. I'm wondering if I should be mixing this with water or with pg to dissolve. I am planning on making my first batch in a 10ml bottle. 1ml generally equals 20 drops. I have heard I should be taking 100mcg every few hours up to 3 times a day. So if I make a 10ml batch with 10mg of fent hcl, I should be right at 50mcg per drop correct? Does anyone else have advice on volumetric dosing for non benzos(got that covered) as well as advice on dosing fent orally, of just general info about any of this I should be made aware of? Thanks
Eyewash from the drug store. 10mL is quite a lot - that's 2.5 4ounce bottles of eyewash.
It's 99% purified water with boric acid and some salt and it stabilizes the fentanyl. You don't drink it - it has horrible oral bioavility. People put the solution on blotters or empty out nasal spray bottles and spray it up their nose. If you look, pharmaceutical ROA are only IV, or things like acitq which are lollipops, or lazanda which is nasal spray. There are tabs you stick between your gums, but no pill form. Caveat - they are researching this and finidng maybe they're wrong and oral absorbtion might work. But blotters or nasal spray are the best way for not-needle people or not just wearing the patch.
It won't dissolve in PG. Water works fine but the tiny bit of salts in eyewash help keep it stable.
I was given a medication, Lazandam, which was exactly that - something like 25 MICROgrams of fentanyl per spray that I was to spray2 sprays up each nostril up my nose for breaktrough pain while I was already on constant pain management. Fentanyl has a very short half life and doesn't last very long but it definitely worked for pain control. Pharma PK was my DOC and I didn't really get a lot out of it there (although I was miserable regardless) but some people absolutely adore it.
Your math is correct but holding two drops in your mouth somehow for it to be effective - it absorbs through the mucal tissue of your cheeks or gums, I would really suggest you use at atomized nasal spray that has metered doses, not the ones just with a hole in the top, one that delivers an exact amount. I take a prescription allergy spray and just calculated it out - each spray delivers about .1mg, so 10 sprays in a mg, not 20 drops, but each is different. Before doing anything, go to the drug store and find a brand of nasal spray that comes in a METERED dose sprayer. It will somewhere on the bottle have both the amount in the bottle as well as the number of metered doses (mine here is atrovent - it was 165 metered doses in 15mL. That means each spray has 0.0909090909090 mL, (lets say 0.1 - roughly 10 sprays equals a milliliter. Most are pretty close to that but double check the math. If yours is about .1ml per spray, (instead of 0.05 mL per drop) - you'd be taking two drops, or just one spray to get 100 mL, I could seriously considering weakening it about four times over, or even five, and use 40-50 mL so you need 4 or 5 sprays to reach 100mcg. With your tolerance, I don't think you'll feel an awful lot at 100 mcg, but do your math so that you can try out 4, and if it doesn't work, another spray will be only another 25mcg, not 50. Even if you were dosing with two drops, if you find it doesn't work, another drop would be half of another full dose.
Fent isn't something to ever make too strong, ever. your tolerance builds fast, and screwing up your math once can kill you. Think of xanax which is active in milligrams - that dipping in the end of the toothpick trick has put lots of people into two days nap. micrograms are a thousandth that - and starting dose of fent is 25 mcg. They say that a grain of coarse sale weighs 2/3 of a milligram. So a speck 667 Times smaller than a grain of salt is a microgram = a microgram, and you only need 100 of those for a full dose.
TLDR 1 - it's not really effective to drink it, blotters, nasal spray, or patches are the best ROA for all practical purposes (you could put the drops up your nose I guess(
TLDR 2 oft-repeated speech about realizing that a microgram is 1000 times smaller tjan a milligram and amazingly easy to OD on. Dilute the crap out of it so however you dose - blotter, nose spray - requires multiples to prevent accidental OD.
And please don't make it a habit. I got dependent on the patches and percocet for breakthrough pain after an extended illness quite a few years ago. My oncologist was legally not permited to taper me and refered me t oa methadone clinic. I travel for work so couldn't do that. Waitlist for clinic that gives you a prescription for suboxone was 6 months or so. I cold turkeyed. I have a chronic illness and have periods I need pain meds long enough to have mild dependency and coming off 30mg of vicodin sucks. I spoke regularly with a local clinic with provides free phone advice and they said people on fentanyl have horrifying withdrawals, but they're at least short.
So stay safe!
