Best market at the moment and no vendors? Whats wrong with tmp? Vendors dont get pisssed from no support SR2? You all got 3 hours a day for typing captchas?
Why the hell is TMP not growing?

I hope TMP takes off for the sake of the sake of the Darknet Market scene. They seem to be very knowledgeable and security conscious and they also carry themselves professionally and treat their users with respect. I wholeheartedly believe that they are they only marketplace in it for the long term and they are doing things to advance the scene forward rather than just copying what DPR unsuccessfully did. I think with time TMP will figure out how to deal with the lack of adoption by making it simpler to use their website, but I hope they will not sacrifice their security standards to do so. I wish them the best of luck and truly hope they succeed, more than any other marketplace we have right now.
TMP: if you think there is someone I can assist you in achieving your potential, please don't hesitate to ask.

...well op i agree SR2 sucks but ask yourself why among the normal escrow markets SR2 is king when pandora/agora are doing it better in almost every way....a very simple answer: people are conditioned to the name SR, conditioned to the logo and the sites design.
Why does TMP suffer in obscurity even though they are better than every other market in every way? same answer, people are conditioned to normal escrow, condition to SR design. Hell even after being taken multiple times by scamsites they still hold onto it like a raft in a flashflood.
The reality is TMP IS the longterm solution, is already the market winner, this is just the very early days, everytime another scamsite goes down and takes everyone with it TMP will get a little stronger, eventually we will see that none of these other market operators have the skill to do multisig right and TMP will be the only one, by then multisig will have been streamlined to be very user friendly.
Dont sweat it, these things take time, SR took 6 months before it was even recognized and then it took off, TMP has gotten alot of its problems nailed down just this month, give it till july.

Just wait for another huge bust like the one that took SR 1.0 down. That'll freak all the vendors out and they'll move to TMP.
Or maybe they'll just get tired of Silkroad shitting its pants over some stupid thing every two weeks. I know I am.

I am using Tor right now and TMP page states this :
You are currently browsing The Marketplace on our Tor gateway. This website provides a Tor proxy (Similar to .onion.to) to allow users to access The Marketplace using their existing Tor Browser bundle, we implore users to install and run I2P and to visit themarketplace.i2p.

Because you need to read a 15,000 words tutorial just to understand how to get a refund?

Because its made for programmers and Linux users.

half the time i click a link it doesnt work, its overly complicated just to get money in your account, the feedback system doesnt make a whole lot of sense, the prices are not any better so there is very little incentive to switch over.
[1 Points] LongLiveThe_King:
Its too hard to use.
I remember when I first started with tSR and I was pretty intimidated by all the stuff I had to do (BTC, PGP, Tor, etc.) New users now are doing the same thing, they'd rather take the easy route and use a Tor market over trying to figure out i2p.
Because of this there is little incentive for vendors to move there, they'd rather work on the more popular markets.
If TMP wants to become the market then they need to make their market more user friendly, hopefully without compromising their security.
[2 Points] None:
obviously they need to make their .onion site secure enough to process orders on tor, only then will it grow. hell, it would definitely be a contender then
[1 Points] t925:
Hardly the best market without vendors, is it? I think the main problem is using tons of interesting but new and unproven tech.
I will be willing to give TMP a shot when there's an open source I2P implementation that does not require Java, which is not allowed here for security reasons. I don't want to rely on a Tor gateway that's not officially supported or endorsed.
[1 Points] 13tom13:
i2p seems to put people off. dont you have to load it for like half and hour before you can use it. besides its still in BETA edition so they are obviously tryinging it on a smaller scale before expanding it
[1 Points] sharpshooter789:
I'm not fully convinced about security of i2p. Its very new so there's not much academic work about it. From what I have read, its less secure for end users if they use the default settings. This would make it easier for FBI/NSA to track users. Finally, there are far less i2p users so its harder to blend in.
[1 Points] mirageXI:
I2P... I'm scared of change
-everyone
[1 Points] meat_love:
If your using tails i2p is not hard. Main problem is the vedor bond, so TMP give some selected members a free account and see your site growing.
[1 Points] twigburst:
Its too complicated for most people to figure out is why, and its not because they aren't marketing enough. Vendors don't know enough about i2p, buyers don't have enough knowledge of any of it, and when they do get on there they don't see a lot of products. Maybe in a few months, who knows.
[0 Points] None:
i2p isnot worth it when you can download tor super easy.

Best market at the moment and no vendors?
How does that sentence even make sense? Surely the best marketplace is the busiest marketplace. An empty marketplace has no vendors to sell and therefore doesn't attract buyers.

most people who have a PhD in computer science are not selling drugs

Well obviously if they would make their .onion site secure enough to process orders on tor then it will be a major contender. Only then will TMP grow
The people in charge of TMP haven't started actively marketing the site yet. Instead, they're ironing out all of the issues and making a great site BEFORE marketing to the mass public. It's a wise decision, and it is the exact opposite of what many other markets have been doing lately.
Schultz has stated that they will start marketing soon. In my opinion, the rush will start soon, and anyone on board now is ahead of the curve. buckle up, friends.
TMP is in a league of its own.
