I thought I was about to get CD'ed.

My life flashed before my eyes guys. I looked up at the sky, thinking it might be the last time I see daylight for a while.

So here's what happened.

I was on my way out from my house and I had parked my car near my mailbox, unintentionally. As I was getting to my car the mailman car pulled up. It's usually this nice old lady that I talk to when she delivers our mail so i went up to the car to take the mail from her and say hi. But it wasn't her this time, which put me off just a little in the back of my head. He was about to put the mail in the box and we made eye contact. i didn't want to be paranoid or look paranoid so I stayed calm and took the letter mail from him. I asked him if that was it so I could put the mail inside and leave. As I asked this, I saw the package of goody goods sitting on the floor of his mail car, as I recognized the packaging from my last order. I was both excited and scared. He gave me this slightly accusing look and asked "Do you live here?" I hesitated for a split second. It was at this moment that I realized he fit the perfect scenario for a CD and that my life might just be over in the seconds to come. I swallowed my fears and simply said "yes." He handed me the package plus two other boxes of innocent cargo that I had also ordered. I asked if that was all again. He smiled, nodded, and drove away. I stood there for a second, not knowing what to do. I thought it through, and took it inside. I really needed to leave so I didn't have time.

But I'm still here and able to write this so everything is good I guess! I left the package unopened for a couple days just in case they did bust down my door I could claim not knowing what it was and not be in big trouble.

But yeah, just wanted to share this story with you all, the only people who might be able to relate. Stay safe guys, get to know your mailman/mailwoman! And appreciate every day you're not locked up XD

out of paranoia i have gotten my pack from my PO box drove home at 3 billion MPH opened the pack and let it sit over the toilet as i looked out my window for 30 mins waiting for DEA to rush down my road. better safe than sorry :) glad to hear you're not in jail m8 :)

But it wasn't her this time, which put me off....

"Put off" by...... a substitute mail carrier because there's no way the sweet old mail lady who usually delivers, would've ever saaaay....called in sick that day? Or....taken one of the 26 vacation days she gets per year. No way her Supervisor could have switched up carrier routes that day....or zzzzzzzzzz
