I deposited to the adress they gave me but deposit NEVER posted, lost 2 btc, motherfuckers. was my first & last experience w them. This is my first post... Yes, I followed on blockchain. over 200 confirm. Yes, I messaged admin, his response- "I guess u got scammed"---That's all.
Good advice to just deposit a small amount.
I have been using btc for two years now, still tense every time I transact, but this is my first negative experience. Agora always was smooth, until recently, we all know it's down, kinda sketchy (esp since it's been so long & often). I found the site on deepdotweb.
I am hopeful, It's an amazing concept, but new....
Just wanted to share my experience w M.E. ~no bueno~
***UPDATE_ I just checked my wallet address.....They changed my address! There is an option to change - so u would think it's optional..... It's almost like they stole my deposit!! I am trying through Support, will update.....
I know on other sites they will auto change address, but if they change address after I copy & paste to deposit _then they have essentially stole my btc. Am i wrong?
here is my message to "support for customers"----
"hello, this is my first time using Middle earth, however I have MORE THAN a few experiences on Agora.
My issue is- I deposited 1.84 btc to the address given (by you) on my wallet page. However, it NEVER deposited. I followed the transaction on blockchain, it has been confirmed. Just now as i check my wallet again, I notice the address has changed! I DID NOT CHANGE VOLUNTARILY... I understand there is an option to "Make new address" _which would indicate that the adress would otherwise stay the same. Since there is no record of previous addresses (on M.E.) -which is an option on other sites such as blockchain- I AM TO ASSUME THAT YOUR SITE HAS STOLEN MY DEPOSIT. I am hoping I am wrong, but as of now I am extremely disappointed in your service, and I will be vocal (to the darknet community) about it."
Could this be a selective scam - triggered if a new account receives 1+ btc?? -if so, bravo.
Maybe it was a goblin that stole your money.
