I've been messing around with crypto currency for a while now. Is there something going on with XMR / Monero?

I've always thought Monero / XMR was undervalued, and believe it still is. But lately the value has been going up. I don't deal with the DNM. But I thought I would come here and ask, because usually when the value of a crypto currency goes up like this, it has something to do with the DNMs.

Is there something going on I don't know about?

Look at his posts in this tread guys.....

He is not interested in your opinion. Like everyday its just another salesman/pumper trying to force Monero onto us.

Value comes from potential or actual utility. Utility comes from potential or actual use-cases. One Monero use-case popped into existence: being able to use it on two of the biggest DNMs. So the value went up. If Monero gets greater traction, it's value will go up. It'll get greater traction when it's easier to use and easier to get.
