I'm interested in selling pre-modded video game consoles. I used to try and sell these on the clearnet or locally over craigslist, but these sites have really been cracking down on selling modded consoles. I'm tired of dealing with all of the hassle.
I just want to offer a no-bullshit service. I have access to plenty of low-cost consoles that I repair, mod, and pre-load with content.
Is there a marketplace for these kinds of things? Do you think there would be any demand for them?
I'm currently able to offer:
- Fat PS2 with HDD mod (plays games off hard drive)
- Flip-top modded PS2's for loading DVD/CD-R backups (fat and slim)
- Original Xbox with pre-loaded modded hard drives
- Wii consoles with HDD mods, (backups from DVD available on older systems upon request)
- Sega Dreamcast with integrated VGA ports and SD card readers
- Sony PSP with custom firmwares
- Nintendo DS/DS Lite with custom firmware, allows for the use of a GBA (slot-2) flash cart to play NDS games without the use of a PassMe device.
- Mod Chip installation, case installations, custom modifications
(Please note that I mostly only have access to North American consoles, but I would be willing to do custom orders for other regions if needed)
All of them will most likely allow you to sell. http://i.imgur.com/0d9ZK5k.png Use that to choose which one is best for you.
Of course, there is a demand for everything. But for this stuff it will be negligible. Most people come to these markets because they want to get high, they aren't looking for electronics.
