Why Monero is the Future for DarkNetMarkets

They say in that article that DASH's mixing/anonymity is "snake-oil" - and don't really elaborate why. I was under the impression it was a pretty sound system, can anyone elaborate further on why its not up-to-snuff?
It seems like it has wider general acceptance, and higher value than monero. Not to mention it was accepted by ABX (ugh) and Nucleus for quite some time. I even made quite a few bucks off it at one point trading altcoins.
More or less, I get the feeling that while Monero might be technically "better", it will end up sitting with a lot of the other altcoins dormant for the most part until employed by someone in a large-scale operation of some sort. I looked into it a while back, and their clients were still rather premature - so maybe its time I revisit?

h8 to brake it to you op but monero isnt the future of dnm's, nubits is, went it comes to running transactions having your currency fluctuate 30% a day is bad for everyone. Monero is the future of mixing tech, the inbetween link for buyers and sellers to trade into btc and out to cash (or straight to cash if monero ever gets its shit together). Monero would be much used if they offered a auto btc-monero exchange like shapeshift.io but without the 3% fee.
But nubits doesnt have its shit together either, no electrum type wallet no webwallets, main wallet doesnt even work on tails so we got what we got. Also dash blows, mixing can take days to finish, thats retarded.
I always liked ShadowCash (SDC).
But in the end, none of these will be the future. Though SDC does promise a decentralized market, but I dunno if that promise will be fulfilled.
