[PSA]Unclaimed Bitcoin in Acropolis Market multisig escrow!!!

OP - http://thehub7gqe43miyc.onion/index.php?topic=19829.0

We have a/some vendors who have not claimed their finalized earnings from our market.
These were multi-Sig transactions and due to the nature of multi-Sig we do not know who they belong to and neither can we do a thing about it unless we have the vendor with corresponding wallet keys.
1.3725379 btc is unclaimed, if you are the vendor/vendors who rightfully own this coin and you need assistance in completing your transaction, please approach our support team.
Best regards AMT

Is it just one vendor or is it cumulative. if its one vendor then maybe he is banned

Could be a vendor who's been banned or somesuch.

Its clearly getting to Acropalis. That's like a month's commission earnings for the whole marketplace. Maybe the customer didn't turn their key to release it, or inform the vendor.

Alternatively, maybe the customer was a cop making a controlled purchase and the vendor became suspicious. If the escrow is released into his own wallet, it will tie him to an exchange via previous transactions and allow him to be de-anonymized. or "doxxed".

That's the danger with direct, individual escrows between the 2 individuals doing a drug transaction. The site lets everyone see the bitcoin to show that they aren't stealing it, but it means the customer and the vendor identify each other on the blockchain.

Customers whine about vendors knowing their address, but they seem happy for vendors to know their wallet address. The most-important function of a marketplace is to be a coin-mixer to obfuscate individual drug transactions for the safety of the vendor and the customer.

If a cop made the buy before you did, and he sees your bitcoin going into the vendor's wallet he knows exactly what you just spent your bitcoin on.
