Got a not from the mailman (USA) - have to sign at the post office to pick up package

edit: title should read note*

So I ordered some prescription meds from India online through the clearnet from a company that technically requires a prescription but doesnt actually enforce it. It was sent via a method that requires signature. It's an uncommon med, not a benzo, painkiller, or stim. Do I have anything to risk by going to the postoffice to sign for it?

most mail sent from India is sent Tracked because there normal letter mail is so slow you might go crazy.... Tracked mail requires signature. you can sign the back of the slip and tape it to were the mail man left it and order a redelivery using the tracking or Pink Slip # via the web tracking page or the 1-800 #

Let me guess, Modafinil? Sign for it, don't be a wuss, I did. If it's international and it's tracked mail or registered mail, you'll have to sign for the pack.

I signed for boxes of drugs from India all the time. Only one got caught (no stealth whatsoever), and I got a LL, weeks after the reship came through. Those were big boxes. Every letter I ever got came through no problem. Every one from India was an express order I signed for. It's nerve wracking the first few times, then you just get used to it. Go sign. If they look at you weird, just say you order a lot of things from eBay or amazon. Maybe it's a screen protector, or a craft of some sort. Plenty of legal stuff comes from overseas all the time, that's why customs only intercepts a fraction of a percentage, and that's usually larger parcels.

The 4 or 5 times I've ordered similar clearnet packs of medications from India, I've had to pick them up directly from the post office and sign for them like others here say. Never had any issues.
