OpSec question about phone usage.

I searched the sub to check if anyone has asked.

I have used my phone already to text people about deals. I am thinking I need to up my OpSec game in case I ever got my phone searched. I use an Android galaxy s7. Is it as simple as using an app such as Signal?

I like whatsapp, popular in europe but not america for some reason. US kids seem to think snapchat is the way to go from what i've seen. Not that I condone that, just sharing the retardation.

Use a passlock for your phone and enable "secure startup" which will make it more difficult to just rip the raw data from your phone since it will ask for password before booting OS. Also deleting old text and using signal/wickr/textme

Also dont take stupid pictures and if you do encrpyt the SD card too-never give up the password.....

Everyone knows you can't send unencrypted text messages.

You're already screwed.
