I have yet to make my first attempt to purchase off the DN. Any feedback from more experienced users would be appreciated.
- Go to a public Wi-Fi location (i.e. Starbucks), and run Tails from a formatted FAT USB drive on a junk laptop with the hard drive removed.
- Start TOR (located on USB drive) and obtain BTC from Local BitCoin and have it transferred to an offline wallet client stored on the USB drive.
- Pay for non-logging VPN service with BTC.
- Exit TOR and Tails, and configure VPN connection on Windows desktop.
- Re-enter Tails and configure built-in OpenPGP and start TOR.
- Tumble rest of BTC (good tumbler?)
- Create throwaway account on preferred DarkNet Market.
- Have BTC sent from tumbler to the Market wallet.
- Make purchase and have the package sent to personal address with real name.
- Log off TOR.
- Exit Tails.
- Run CCleaner.
- Remove USB drive.
- Shutdown laptop.
The laptop is never powered on at my residence or anywhere besides a public Wi-Fi with the intent of accessing the DarkNet (basically, it's sole purpose, hence being disposable/junk).
And also, if worst comes to worst and a package gets compromised/intercepted, all that has to be done is persistent denial and all liable convictions are null.
Any good?
Sounds excessive unless you're moving real weight or are a vendor.
