Got a letter through asking me to pick up a package at the royal mail office. Kind of paranoid about it.

So I've got an official royal mail letter through asking me to pick up a package. It has apparently not been sent because the sender didn't pay the full postage amount.

So, do you think theres anything to worry about? Is it correct that the package would even make it to my town if the full postage amount hasn't been paid? Any of this sound off to anyone?

This does happen. Do you really think the police are just waiting there for you to show up? Course not, massive waste of time as they don't tknow when or if you woul;d show, so makes no logical sense

If I was feeling paranoid about it, I'd go pick it up, take it home, scrawl 'return to sender' on the packaging and wait a week or so before opening.

Probably no need though.
