[OPSEC] Is it safe to manually set time in TAILS?

Okay so for some reason TAILS was refusing to automatically sync up the time to UTC, so I set a password and manually set the time.

When I finished with TAILS and booted to Windows, I noticed that my time was off by several hours even though the setting for my timezone was correct. I manually reset this clock to the correct time too.

Does anyone know if I just compromised my OPSEC in any way whatsoever?

It's probably fine, but next time let Tails sync the time itself. Tor needs an accurate clock to connect properly, so Tails gets the time from the internet before it connects, so if the time isn't set, it's an internet issue. And Tails is specially configured to try to get the time from multiple sources and attempt to verify the accuracy of the information it gets, in case an attacker is trying to mess with you that way. Tails is specially designed to do what it does, and it's very good at it. Let it do its job. If it's not working, restart and/or reset your router/modem. But don't try to mess with the settings yourself. I can't imagine you compromised yourself at all, but why risk it. Tails is made for this. Let Tails do its job.

Why are you bothering with the time?

This happens with me, if it fails you can either shut it down and reboot it again or just wait and give it 10 minutes and it should have connected and time been set.
