What kind of OpSec hilarity have you seen?

I'm a new vendor, and loving it.

Today I got a "fax" in email. It was actually a fax.zip file with a .js file compressed inside of it. I guess people still fall for that shit.

The other day a potential customer sent me his phone number so we could talk or text about how much money we're going to make together.

What are your best stories?

Quantik

Videos of his pill press

Pictures of his lab

Pictures of his money & drug usage

Betrayal of his employees & company take-over

Endless reddit drama

the fun never stops with Q. Too bad he was banned from the sub.

Less hilarious, more scary: Big vendor from Evo sent me 14g of MDMA - Netherlands to USA - just in a large envelope. No vacuum seal, not even a fucking baggie, just in an envelope. Almost had a heart-attack, and to this day it baffles me how that passed through customs.

Ah, you're getting spammed with those Interfax emails also? I was getting so many of them that I had to include a filter against them.

Vendors sending tracking #s in plaintext is a huge one, and is a status quo that needs to be changed sooner than later.

Protip: if you don't want a vendor to send your tracking # in plaintext, you need to send them your public key at some point, preferably on your profile.

A buyer on CanadaSunshine's AU account on alphabay put his address in the feedback field unencrypted. Its probably still there.

I have a good one but it would put at least one person in jail so really have nothing.

I got a ziplock bag that wasn't sealed and had xanax bars rattle around the envelope from Missbliss awhile back. I left a 0/5 and she left not too long after that.

A vendor that sent me the wrong order, then gave me his address and sent me postage to return it, in exchange for the right thing plus extras.

It was a clusterfuck.

FUD, truth - doesn't matter. We're in a risky business, and like to minimise chances. We're generally spoiled rotten for choice anyway - bad news pops up about a vendor, just move to the next. Even if it's LE FUD, they're generally just putting a dent in a vendor, not the market. And if the rumors are enough to kill off the vendor, two more pop up anyway.

Just use your brains. If you believe everything you read, you're a tool. If you sit back and say 'it's all shit, reddit is retarded and it's all just FUD', you're a bigger tool. Combination of logic and gut go a long way to keeping people safe.
