Today my friend recieved a package. Sadly, it should have weighed about 1 ounce more than it did. After he observed it, he noticed a thin slice of tape stretching along both sides of the PM USPS envelope. Upon further observation, he noted that one of the sides of tape was actually keeping it closed. The torn open area was also slightly off center from the rest. The main top strip was intact.
He concluded that either, USPS employee intercepts or vendor scam attempt. Obviously any number of things could have happened. But my question is how often? Any similar experiences?
note to vendor: Please refrain from handwriting address and leaving off return address. Also, don't pay with 3 stamps.
Hand written address, no return address, 3 stamps?
Yeah, it was most likely the vendor.
