What's the deal now?

I know fees are insane. But the vendor I i want to order from is going on vacation. So I need to pay him by the end of the day tomorrow. So I don't want to put in s order and it just sit there. And then it won't make it before the vendor goes on vacation. So for sending 110$ would a fee of 30-35$ be good enough? I looked at that site but I'm not good at calculating stashi.

Cliff Notes : 30$ dollar good on 110$ order to get it thru quickly?

Satoshi is just a billionth of a bitcoin, so easy to calculate. Like someone else said, the dollar amount is irrelevant. Your girlfriends have all been lying to you - size does matter. Assuming that your transaction isn't going to need a bunch of inputs (this would happen if you have a lot of smaller amounts spread across multiple BTC addresses), if you follow the "median size" at https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ you should be fine. Right now, 219,220 satoshis is the cheapest and fastest transaction fee. This should be 0.00021922 BTC miner fee. And yes, that's about $30 right now. Check again when you send it.

It really depends on the size of you transaction, which depends on number of inputs and outputs not the actual amount. So can’t say for sure but I saw a transaction from a Coinbase account to a bitcoin ATM get confirmed within an hour with a $30 fee earlier this afternoon.
