Pretty sure that TOM is an elaborate scam

The day it opens it has 15,000 listings. Has pretty much every vendor on the site yet none of these vendors have admitted to ever selling there.

It has multi-sig sure, but I think all the vendors are fake, so the market owns 2/3 keys in any transaction.

No way to contact the support or send messages, the PM system doesn't work.

No reports of successful purchases on TOM from anyone. Coins that are deposited all magically disappear. User reviews on DeepDotWeb all say they were scammed by the market.

JavaScript is forced, not indicative of a scam but still extremely bad security practice.

I deposited 0.04 yesterday and the coins have vanished.

Can a warning please be put next to this market? Or removed entirely? I fail to see how this isn't a scam... but I'm prepared to listen to reason if I'm wrong.

Well, I heard enough reports recently, Moved to scam markets until i can verify

Hmmm... Forced JavaScript and making it look legit by listing major known vendors without their knowledge. Sounds to me like an LE move to try and capture buyer info.

[2 Points] None:

I don't see ANY listings nor any categories. You using the link on the side?

[2 Points] 13tom13:

would they really expect to get enough bitcoins before people realize, that is an interesting idea though as most people probably think using multisig makes you hard to lose/get scammed out of your BTC but in some cases it could theoretically be all a scam

[2 Points] None:

Why would anyone use it, if this is known? I guess it isn't well-known enough, lol. Is it really that hard to stick to the currently trusted markets like Agora and the like? Damn

Dear hugsforpugs,

We offered sellers of Pandora (with a 4.5 + rating) automatic conversion of their profile and listings. They only needed to activate it. You can ask a random vendor of Pandora to confirm this. (A lot of them are also Agora or anywhere else). This is the reason we had a lot of sellers quickly (please note that we were online a some time before we were on reddit).

Let me know the transaction id and your deposit address on TOM. I will sort out why your deposit failed.

The javascript is for user xp but I'm trying to make it work without it.

Please make sure ur on "tom3j5jkjl7327oc.onion" I saw the site is copied (ssi-ing our site) on http://sfcntede3j2gvekm.onion/.

Whatever went wrong with the 0.04 BTC I will reimburse you if it is our fault.

It's very difficult for me to defend myself. Let me know what I can do to prove TOM is Legit.

I've put a lot of work in TOM it would be a disappointment if in the end it won't be used. If I would try to scam people I would just copy another site or server side include it.

Thanks TOM

Hi Hugsforpugs,

Sorry to bother you again. Can you send a PM to support on TOM and send me a screenshot with the error message? (of course erase sensitive info from the screenshot)

It would help me try to fix this prob.

I'm getting support messages every day but it might be a browser compatibility issue.

Best Regards, TOM
