I'm sure someone can probably help answer this for me, but if these strips are dried out a bit AND/OR close to the labeled expiration date...do they begin to lose their color....like quite a bit? Normally they're quite orange all over, however I just was given two of them, they were in their original opened, but folded, foil containers, but I had a small piece left from another and there is quite a difference in color on the back side of them. I did look, and the one I already had expires 11/16, the ones in question supposedly expire in 3/16. My thoughts are them being in open packs for I don't even know how long(they aren't terribly brittle though at least) and the fact they are I would guess 8 months older than the other I have for comparison is whats leading to this drastic color loss. Just curious if anyone else knows kinda what I'm talking about? They smell like Bupe, licked a tiny fleck of the corner and it SEEMED to be alright, my mind plays tricks on me sometimes though. Anyway, anyone else know bout this? They're fine I'm thinking(and sure as hell HOPE), but I'm just wondering since this subreddit is a ridiculously helpful resource....Thanks anyone for any help offered.
I've seen them lighter orange if older, but I wouldn't make a big deal about expiration date. Unless it's years past it's just a meaningless number.
