Why are vendors leaving/retiring?

It's because most are now millionaires. Everyone who sold anything for bitcoin now made more than 6x just because the price of bitcoin is skyrocketing. Most vendors are fucking rich now. Also the volatility, most markets don't want to deal with it. We are seeing the end of days, boys. I haven't ordered anything in months simply because all the good markets went down.

All the vendors are not millionaires. There were plenty who were small time. You also must think that they had already begun cashing out as they were vending.

There are several things happening right now that I think have led us here. One being that it has become very apparent that Bitcoin is easy to trace. Therefore another currency must establish itself, but hasn't yet. Another is obviously there are a lot of market shut downs/shitty markets.

This is not the end. It's the end of an era. Not the end of the scene. Things just need to evolve and when they do they will move quickly.

Oh we’re far from the “end of days”.

We’re just getting started..

[10 Points] SaltiestArker:

I think you are underestimating how often most vendors cashed out their btc

Wrong shit are still going smoothly. Money is being made and drugs are flowing.

The world doesn't revolve around you, I've seen numbers prior to Alphabay death and they're still very high to this day. It's far from the end.

And vendors don't stockpile bitcoins they cashout as they go, to think vendors have been keeping there coins in a wallet for the last few years just to make interests is rather foolish.

I suspect vendors have just had all they're going to take from this market bullshit. They're still there, just doing DD.

I think a lot are tired of losing tens of thousands of dollars to scamming markets and go back to the old fashioned way of hand to hand,in person, on the corner, wherever it is they started at.

Vendors are just going private

[3 Points] Bitmexxed:

Spoke to one of my vendors who quit. Was because he was fed up of the fucking markets going down/exit scamming. DNM have had a really rough time recently. I cannot wait for OpenBazaar to be fully working. WE NEED A DECENTRALIZED MARKET.

[3 Points] SFCINDUSTRIES:

People are leaving because markets are all scamming. Lost over $1500 due to Zion and Berlusconi Markets.

Now im only doing direct deals fuck marketplaces!

[2 Points] swtinc:

They're not millionaires because they're not just stockpiling bitcoin. They sell drugs, receive bitcoin, exchange bitcoin for money to buy more drugs and stash cash away.. Then rinse repeat.

[2 Points] AlpraKing:

Its not because you have 20m that you can't make another 20m.

I don't see why would anyone retire unless its because they have a shaky setup with shitty opsec. Which is like 99% of vendors.

[2 Points] MDMAmphetamineUSA:

Can you afford to lose $41000 and just keep going no problem? Thats how much I ;lost. and let me tell you it hurt. For many other vendors that is the end though, sadly.

My heart goes out to all the people affected by this that took a loss.... =(

Once Wraith Protocol is released XVG will be king of privacy.🤑

DD's. Email =)

[1 Points] Spicy_Tripp:

Probably because all the shady shit going on with the markets they are losing money left and right. I'd be out the game right now too if I was a vendor relying on a site to stay up so I don't lose money.

Also... The average "good" vendor makes maybe 1000 a week. It's not much more than an average 9-5. My job pays me more to sit home on my laptop and tell people what to do than vendors get paid to risk their freedom.
