So iv been wanting to write this short Tek on laying Fentanyl HCL on to blotters as there is basically NO information on the best way to do it and every vendor says they wont sell you it if you don't know how to lay it / prepare it. So as soon as you ask a question like "What's the best way to lay it?" they assume you are unsafe to sell it too.
While i understand this is to stop a very dangerous chemical ending up in the hands of someone who may end up causing harm to themselves. Without explaining the process of safely laying blotters those who choose to try their luck need to be informed rather than refused product. The reason for this is simply because, one day someone WILL sell them some because they will learn to not ask questions and pretend they know all about it when in reality they wont know what to do! and that is where the real danger lies.

So without further ado lets get straight down to it!
You need the following equipment:-
Equipment list
• Milligram scales (0.000g) Three pointers!
• 99.99% isopropyl Alcohol
• Cellulose paper, or unbleached un-laminated non-Toxic regular A4 paper.
• Centimeter ruler
• Perforating cutter
• Shot glass
• Latex gloves
• Dust mask
• Rectangular Mirror or picture frame with glass (must have a flat back to lay flat on a table)
• 1 sewing pin with a flat head (1mm diameter Flat head on the pin)
• small glass pipette
the average unit for 1 drop is 0.05ml so we have based this Tek on that standardwe tested this by getting a 1ml syringe and filling it half way with Iso. i then quickly transfered it to the pipette and saw if i get 10 drops out of it. 0.05ml * 10 = 0.5ml so you know your dropper fits this Tek if that works out for you :)
Preparing the blotters
Firstly simply mark out the sheet by making a mark every 1cm on every side making sure you measure from the same side to ensure they line up if the last square doesn't make 1cm.
Using the perforating cutter line up each set of parallel markings and cut a line across the width at each marking. Then rotate 90 degrees and complete the grid using the same method of lining up the markings and cutting at each set of parallel 1cm spaced markings.
At this point you have your sheet of blotters.
For this Tek we will use 200 blotters so go ahead and separate 10 lines of 20 blotters and place them on your mirror.
Preparing Fentanyl HCL powder
While opiate naive people should start with doses as small as 31ug or 1/8(one eighth) of the blotters described below, due to their common availability we will be making 200 blotters at 250ug which i believe is a nice dose for users with a moderate to strong opiate tolerance, to safely use fentanyl both therapeutically and recreationaly, and so we will need 50mg of Fentanyl HCL.
Put on your latex gloves and dust mask just to be extra safe!
Get a small piece of tinfoil and fold it in half and open it to make a bit of a crease and place it on the scale plate to make it easy to transfer the powder.
Using your pipette place 200 drops of isopropyl in your shot glass.
(EDIT: As pointed out by users){
whenever you leave the shot glass uncovered the alcohol will inevitably evaporate. This is a BAD THING! Before the fent is mixed in evaporation means you can no longer propperly determine the concentration of the solution when the Fent is mixed in! Once the fent is mixed in evaporation means the last needlepoint drops are stronger than the first which means uneven distribution which basically what this whole TeK is trying to avoid.
SOLUTION
Cover the glass of Iso with a piece of flat plastic or glass, or even clingfilm before you add the Fent and between each time you access to the solution during the laying stage.
i believe from now on i will make sure i do this and felt i should recommend it on this post for added safety
with regards to running out of solution half way i have found that with a pin with a head of 1mm i can get 1 drop to absorb fully into 1cm square tabs.
Having said this as pipettes vary as do pin heads. get 10 1cm tabs put 10 drops from your dropper into a shot glass and cover it, then with your pin see how many times it takes to use up your solution to fill up those 10 tabs (covering the shot glass after every time you access it), this way you can see and verify how many passes you will need. 10 drops fits on 10 tabs in 4 passes of pin heads with this setup without any seepage and i have never come up short.
as suggested by a few users. try this technique with other safer drugs or with just alcohol }
Turn on the scale and tear the weight of the tinfoil square. Carefully measure out 50mg or 0.050g on to your tinfoil.
Don't make any sudden movements and make the powder airborne as it is a very light powder and has a tendency to do that if you are heavy handed!
When you have double checked the weight tip it into the shot glass containing the isopropyl.
Using the pipette mix the solution by squeezing it in and out of the pipette until all the crystals have dissolved into the solution.
Now you have your Fentanyl HCL solution in arguably its most dangerous form as liquids have a tendency to spill and as Fent can be absorbed dermally
DONT GET IT ON YOUR SKIN!!!!
Laying The Blotters
A common and sometimes DEADLY mistake at this point is to proceed with the pipette. This is absolutely the wrong way to approach laying chemicals of this potency.
Paper is absorbent but you CAN'T get a whole drop to absorb into one square at once! You do however need the extra volume of isopropyl to properly dissolve the crystals, so the common mistake is to put a drop on each square and then let the saturated sheet dry on a level surface. While this may be ok for drugs like alprazolam where a variant of 1mg here or there is not a real issue 1mg here or there in the world of Fentanyl can be the difference between life and death.
I'm sure some of you have read of "hotspots" or "pooling" when laying Fent and the dangers of this and using a pipette is an easy way to put yourself in danger.
The ONLY way to lay fent is slowly and patiently and a very small quantity at a time.
The method
1. Set your mirror or glass picture frame with your blotter on the glass on a flat level secure surface.
2. Get your FLAT HEAD PIN and holding it by the needle dip the head of pin into the Fentanyl isopropyl solution and simply touch it to the center of your first square.
This will make a very small moistened area which will stay within the bounds of its 1cm tab as it absorbs and spreads.
Working in lines repeat this process until you have done your first pass of the sheet.
The benefits of using this method is that only a small amount of liquid is placed on each tab and therefore has a much faster evaporation time due to the increased surface area and reduced volume.
By the time you reach the end of the first pass the first rows will have dried entirely ready for the second pass. Because of this there will never be pooling of solution and each tab gets the same dose rather than drawing liquid from neighboring tabs causing variable dosing which is basically the worst nightmare in this case.
you will need to repeat this process until the entire solution has been applied to the blotters. you can see where the Fent has absorbed on each blotter so as you go you will see it spread further to the corners covering the blotters evenly from the center.
As it takes about 4 passes to transfer the solution evenly you are putting ~62.5ug per pin head. This method ensures the fentanyl gets trapped in the fibers of the paper evenly and the solvent evaporates and never has enough volume to seep onto neighboring tabs.
AND THATS IT! you have 200 tightly dosed 250ug Fentanyl HCL Blotters! Store them in a cool dry dark place in a ziplock bag and they should last you a while, and remember to always be safe. If its your first time DO YOUR RESEARCH THOROUGHLY take blotters 1/8 at a time until you are familiar with the strength as it really is something you need to be careful with.!
