The decentralized store Marketplace is a core feature of [Nxt](Nxt.org) unlike OpenBazaar all informations are stored encrypted in the blockchain and you don't need to stay online to sell items. Here are some screenshots:

For the time being Nxt has few privacy options but coin-shuffling should be available in next version
Freemarket is another marketplace based on the Nxt blockchain but it's a third party app and not part of the core features. The next version should have an escrow system called Concorde that is now in testing. Freemarket will be also integrated in the [superNet](supernet.org) project.

It looks pretty neat if you ask me and unlike openbazaar, this is fully decentralised and within the blockchain. Really eager to find out more but haven't found anyone mentioning DNM related activity yet.
The major problem with decentralized markets like NXT (or Shadowmarket) is the alt-coin tied to it. Bitcoin is somewhat stable because of mass adoption and acceptance but vendors and users still suffer from price swings of even 5-10%. Alt-coins can be extremely volatile. Daily swings of 5-20% up or down aren't unheard of, and with no mass adoption or acceptance anywhere on the horizon the largest interest group in these coins are usually crypto traders making it even more susceptible to price swings.
So while these markets are nice and definitely 'next-gen', they currently don't offer a realistic alternative to the Darknet unless they decide to work hand in hand with Bitcoin. The target audience for these markets already have it much easier by using something like OpenBazaar and Bitcoin or the centralized Darknet......so markets with tied in alt-coins can only hope for some sort of miracle.
