It was a vague response but still something.
I was told to leave some things out due to security measures. But here's what I was told:
1) He is currently and consistently trying to find the exploit that allowed a user(s) to gain access to wallets and accounts. A few weeks back us mods and VRC got a PM from another annoying shill saying he wanted money or he will release dox and such, yada yada. So VRC says maybe it's been taken seriously.
2) As of yesterday (whatever timezone Nucleus runs in), there was little to no BTC stolen and no personal data such as account information has been compromised. I was also told that this issue we're facing has nothing to do with the data-reconstruction done yesterday except for the old passwords being able to log back into the owners account.
This is all the information I was given and on a final note he said there is much work to be done to have Nucleus running back up better than ever. If you are hesitant with the market, just withdraw your coins for the time being or spend them right away on what you want. VRC and his team are at this moment working on fixing the site.
I have put an offer on the table for him to have my computer expert, pen-tester examine both the forum and market to find any single vulnerability. Though there may not even be one, it'd be double safe to check so I'm awaiting a reply.
VRC is a good man and keep your faith in Nucleus. Every site has had its problems but I have got to say, VRC is a truthful man. I left out some things due to his request.
I will keep you all posted
