In your opinion, what is the best anonymous/secure/encrypted email service?

popular ones I see a lot of are tutanota and protonmail. What do you use? Why do you like it?

I used to think that gmail was awesome but then someone here hacked it

PGP + any onion service.

The onion provides anonymity. PGP provides security.

That is the gold standard. Once you start trusting email services to hold keys for convenience you're compromising security.

Sigaint is a good onion email service, then just pgp encrypt all your messages. Why even bother trusting a third party to encrypt anything?

I use to be a big fan of protonmail. They stopped using the duel password feature which basically killed my interest in it, not to mention you have to have javascript enabled. I still use it for for a clean looking email on the clearnet when I need it. They've recently implemented a an onion service but I have yet to check it out. I know the cleanet site was NOT PGP compatible unless you forked out cash for a pro account but I'm not sure about the onion.

I just use Sigaint for my darknet needs with PGP for extra protection when I need it.

I use Protonmail. I did see a couple threads awhile back mentionng a few flaws it had, but I don't really do busines through email so finding a better one isn't a high priority;
