Wasn't there someone in this sub about a week or so ago asking about mailing themselves drugs to a hotel?

[22 Points] Throwaway_950:

Hotel staff opened the package

Couldn't he try to get charges dropped because of this?

Hotel front desk worker here, we can't open shit sent to a guest. I'm assuming he just sent it to the hotel and didn't address it with his name or anything along with the hotel address so the workers probably just thought it was a package for the hotel.

Damn so dirty socks isn't a preferred method

So first they open someone else's mail, and then they bust him for possession even though he wasn't actually in possession of it. Yeah this is probably gonna end fine for him tbh.

[2 Points] Immaloner:

He mailed the package directly to the hotel ahead of his stay but only listed a return address in Arizona. Hotel staff opened the package to discover a pair of socks containing the methamphetamine and immediately alerted police.

Ok, that makes no sense at all.

Sounds like he dug his own grave:

was in Key West “to party” on Wednesday and wanted to try the drug for the first time, according to police spokeswoman Alyson Crean.

You need to protect yourself from hotels. They may be working with cops. Las Vegas hotels used to be notorious.

My brother is taking a felony plea after an arrest that involved hotel security smelling pot and calling police.

They know they can open shit and then it's open for the cops.

Dummy didn't mail it to himself. He mailed it to the hotel and was dumb enough to try to pick it up.
