Alphabay took 60% of my transaction when transferring it to Helix!

Hi,

I just made a transaction to Helix of 0.5 BTC. However the Helix says it only received 0.21054 BTC (see http://grams7enufi7jmdl.onion/helix/light/status/dcca360cf2eae54b). I lost 60% of those coins with a single transaction :( It seems like Alphabay took 0.39 out of my 0.5 BTC

This is crazy and highly worrying to me! I am not safe anymore to transfer my btcs from alphabay to another place.

Has anyone else experienced such issues? I already contacted the support at Helix with this issue and the support at Alphabay in the forum. I am curious who's gonna say what.

You made a withdrawal of 0.5022 BTC, and it was correctly sent on the blockchain. Our job is done. However Helix light normally takes single payments, you should either:

1) Contact Helix support with this transaction ID and they will solve it

2) Next time, check the "single transaction" box when withdrawing.

Edit: By posting your Helix ID, you just posted your "clean" BTC address in the open. If I were you, I'd tumble them a second time.

I'm not a shill or anything check my history, but there is too much bashing going on and in this case alphabay didn't do anything wrong..

That's about the only thing that you are safe to do. Send your left over coin to a wallet you personally own.

I had something similar happen to me last week, but.... well, backwards of your problem.

Dropping coins from Helix to the Bay, I only got half of my coins. I messaged support, BigMuscles got back to me with the standard "HI BUDDY" bs, and...... well, I didn't get anything else back yet. I do understand that when I'm getting coins dropped via multiple microtransactions my address changes, but the system saves your last known addresses and credits you anyways (well, every other time than this one). I've never had issues with AlphaBay before. Shiiiiit.

I don't think this is an alpha bay problem.

Don't send coins directly from AB to helix light. If you do your withdrawal to your own wallet, it will come through completely, though in several transactions. Once you get it all, then send it to helix to tumble.

Since AB suddenly started breaking up withdrawals into multiple transactions, it messes up helix light since each Helix address can only take a single transaction and tumble it.
