Alpha Bay Deposit issues and their support

So I'm a little upset with how things were handled at Alpha Bay. Everyone is aware of the issues they had on September 10th and I, like many others, were victim of the issues they had. I deposited $25 and after many confirmations, it didn't show up. I figured I'd just wait a few days to let them sort things out. I'm sure they were overloaded with issues and figured I would just keep from adding to their piles of issues. Well, apparently I was wrong. I left a message on their forums and after 2 days, they responded with a link. The link directed me to a page where it said that they were no longer crediting or dealing with people who made deposits on the 10th. It basically said that anyone who waited this long (3 days) to inquire about the deposits were shit out of luck. I don't get why they wouldn't even look in to the wallet address and see if the coins were still there. So they had the issues with their deposit system, yet because I was too patient, I would not be able to get my coins back. This is really poor handling of the issues they had. I'm really happy it was for only $25. I really feel bad for others who had issues. This has made me not want to use their market anymore, too bad because I kind of like the UI and search features. To whoever was credited with my coins by mistake, I hope you enjoy whatever it is that you purchase.

Do you really want to hurt me? Do you really want to make me cry?

Some of you yanks might think it strange to quote the immortal Brit-Wave sensation Boy George of Culture Club, but we at the R-BTVA celebrate androgyny whenever we can.

Our team be doing a full audit of Alphabay shortly. Over to you /u/Trappy_Pandora. Anything to add Trappy_Pandora? Trappy_Pandora can you shine some light on this, Trappy_Pandora?

Welcome to the club, not too many people have been happy with AlphaBay lately. The only time i have logged on this month was to message a vendor that is exclusively there to find out if they were going to be on other markets.

I have always found the saying, "Where there's smoke, there's fire" to be very true. In this case the smoke is drama and poor customer service. personally I avoid drama IRL and on the DNM as much as possible. Drama usually leads to problems and I don't want myself or my BTC any where near if problems do arise.

IMO this market has always been shady and I don't want to spend my money there.

Sorry to hear that man, I've never had issues with it, and I have a pretty active purchasing mentality. I've had like 50 bucks just in my wallet like they tell you not to do and still no issues.
