Customer lives about 20 minutes away, what should I do?

I just got an order of a customer who lives about 20 minutes walk distance from my house. So I am wondering, is this something that should make me worry? Should I just drop it in his mailbox or what?

You should message him.

"Bro I am outside, hurry and finalize after" .

[43 Points] throwawayconcentrate:

Just send it through the mail like you normally would.

[33 Points] jffheh833yf8:

Pocket the shipping costs, leave a clear plastic baggy of drugs on their doorstep.

[24 Points] CaptainColeslaw:

Strap it to a brick and throw it through his window. Put the message "Stay the fuck out of Riverdale".

Anyone that is advising you to hand deliver it is ignoring the HUGE opsec fails involved. if the buyer sees there's no postage or check in information on the envolope they will know where you live. not to mention if its a controlled buy you're fucked. way more potential to leave evidence, fingerprints, dna, camera, etc.... don't even think about it.

[15 Points] SpecialAgentDildo:

Hand deliver it and freak them the fuck out

[13 Points] CheekyDive:

How many people are now wondering if it was them that just placed this order?

Edit: Spelling

[7 Points] PurpleBeamz:

Quicker shipping! :D

[6 Points] isthismdma:

A while ago someone from Berlin posted that a Vendor dropped a package in his mailbox. He was quite concerned.

So don't if you don't want your customers to freak out.

[9 Points] shoefucker:

Yeah, honestly I'd treat em like any other customer and just drop it in the mail. Chances are they're just another average Joe.

[6 Points] Gandalfus:

Honestly, I would try to find someone I really trust for reshipping, a drive at least a couple hours out before mailing it, or print fake labels and hand deliver it after regular mail runs so it looks like another piece of mail to the untrained eye.

Nothing probably would happen, but I can't imagine anything good happening from living in that close proximity to someone you vend to. As soon as they see the return address in such a closeby town they will figure it out and then what happens if you have a dispute with them? Or they get busted? Or the market goes down and people think you ripped them off? If that happens then now you have a customer near your place of living who can connect the dots.

Idk it all seems risky as fuck.

[5 Points] MitalikaSucks:

Just send usually, I had a Vendor in a 30 minutes walking radius from me lol. He was sending it as usual package

[6 Points] BrotherMidas:

Be a sport and deliver it straight to their door.

(Kidding, don't do that.)

[5 Points] hosthrowaway2:

Decline Orders too close to home

[6 Points] JuanCarlosI:

Dress up as a mailman deliver that shit then go home enjoy the profits smoke up get para and burn your house

[5 Points] I-love-cocaine:

no need to worry as long as you just mail it like normal. OPSEC is #1 priority

If someone bought a dress off me on ebay and lived on the same street, I'd still send it in the post to them...

[5 Points] Lysergimind25:

Make sure to give it to him hand in hand and make some nice eye contact is had and say "i'll ship this fast everytime you order :)" and proceed to skip away.

[3 Points] None:

I think it depends on the order tbh. If its just a guy buying an 8th of weed then you can probably just drop it in his mailbox and include a note that you would be fine doing offline deals (if you are). If its someone ordering a half pound of coke then you probably should just treat it like every other order.

[3 Points] pigsflyingover:

I'd ship it as usual.. The only other thing I'd consider is asking them if they'd rather pick it up from a dead drop, which would reduce the already very low possibility of a CD. the dead drop would add opsec concerns, because you wouldn't want to choose an area where cameras may record you coming or going.. I've used dead drops many times in the past, but that was mainly so I wouldn't have to waste time waiting on people., and they were all irl friend's, so I didn't worry too much about cams when I was tucking the package under a dumpster, etc.. Most important thing is to not expose yourself. It shouldn't have even crossed your mind to do personal delivery, and don't go cruising by their house out of curiosity..

[2 Points] theBlotter:

Knock on his door you might end up making a good connection.

[3 Points] BrodhiRoundhouseKick:

Park a Crown Victoria (preferably black with black tinted windows) a few hundred feet from his mailbox. Claim package was siezed. Profit?

Just kidding. I'd drive a good hour away at least and insert it in that blue box... If I were a vendor I wouldnt want others knowing I was in the same locale as them.

[3 Points] BrodhiRoundhouseKick:

Use a drone to deliver it?

[3 Points] quixoticme1:

If he's ever fiending like hell for his fix charge him $100 for instant delivery. Bingo

[3 Points] None:

This has happened like 4 times to me. One of them I was talking to on chat and he asked if we could hang out. I told him sure, if he's okay with being murdered afterwards.

But no we have not met and he's become a consistent customer.

[2 Points] Drugaddicatedanimal:

that's like getting free express shipping! Ship that bitch

[2 Points] None:

roll it in a newspaper throw it at his door don't stop

[2 Points] keseysdayglobus:

The fake CD idea would be funny as shit, horrible for opsec though. Honestly I'd drop it in his box.

[2 Points] FastDonut:

As weird as this sounds I have always wanted this to happen. Just swing by that night, leave it on the doorstep and then customer: "FASTEST SHIPPING EVER". just kidding I wouldn't do this. In fact I'd ship it from much farther away.

[2 Points] twigburst:

Mail it from a different town.

[2 Points] J0NJ0NES:

I'm always amazed at the lack of cunning that exists by both users and vendors who participate in this community. No offense.

There is only one correct answer to your question. Deliver the package as you normally would. Any deviation from your normal operation would at this point only make it easier to identify you.

If you had kept your big mouth shut, you would have also had the option to cancel the order, but doing so now would put you into a narrower subset of vendors. One of the best covers that vendors on DNMs have is that there are a lot of them. A herd if you will. Staying inside of the largest herd is your safest course. And don't ask me to explain more than that, I don't have the time. If someone else would like to try and enlighten this guy be my guest.

And WTF is with the notion of delivering the package by hand? That line makes me think you're just a troll.

EDIT: And reading through the comments, I can't believe how bad the advise is. Do not deviate from what you usually do. Even driving out to a drop farther from where you are will put a unique signature on you. It's kinda like being pinged and then you stupidly answering the ping. DON'T DO IT!

[2 Points] DareToHope:

Two options.

A: (Practical option) Drive a bit extra out of you way to drop it in a further away mailbox than you would normally use. Do all your usual opsec/vendor stuff.

B: (crazy wtf option) Do the same as option A but give the buyer some extra product. This is all a part of your master plan, we want him to come back and buy again and next time, you'll be ready. Pre pack a few varying order sizes (you should already be doing this anyways) The next time he places an order, you fucking drop everything and race your ass (or someone else's ass) over there to leave it under their doormat. then ring the doorbell and run away (this only works if they have a doormat/house) make sure to leave a note saying "release funds plz".

Plan B part 2(if no doormat) leave it in the mailbox and message the guy the second you drop it off that it's in his mailbox with several winking emoticons. perhaps even link him to this very reddit thread.

TLDR; I'm kidding dont do option B please, unless you like some shiney new silver bracelets n chains.

[2 Points] quixoticme1:

I know everyone on here is horrified of the idea of meeting directly, but the advantage is you could use cash! I know it's revolutionary but I think it could work. Oh wait, it's just called selling drugs at that point, and you'd be a "dealer".

[2 Points] wtzl4xd:

I know it's probably super tempting to just drop it in their mailbox, but you don't want that customer knowing that you live nearby... they could use that one fact to try to locate you.

[2 Points] defiantlyfucked:

You should probably ask this in /r/DarkNetMarketsNoobs

[1 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

I had this happen. Treat it like any other order.

Its hard to make friends being a vendor, but its only worth meeting customers of the opposite sex!

[1 Points] 374r937f:

Drop far away if you're worried. Otherwise, just send it. A vendor shipped from the same city one neighborhood away before.

[1 Points] None:

In all honesty I'd have a panic attack if an order turned up hand delivered. OPSEX YOURSELF UP OP.

[1 Points] bo0zer:

lol just cancel the order if you're having doubts? pretty simple.

[1 Points] wanttojoinagor:

I hope its not my order holy shit. Just put it in the mail. As a buyer it would make me paranoid as fuck. I mean the person gives you his RL adress he is already freaked out enough.

[1 Points] rudetopigs:

Id consider shipping it from a different city

[1 Points] 13tom13:

naa do what you normally do, you probably have other orders to post aswell so why not do it at the same time and not risk being identified as local

[1 Points] SirLucy:

All jokes aside, I'd say the most viable options are:

A) Find an out of town drop, change up the labeling and drop. B) Just deliver it, it's not uncommon for Vendors to have multiple drops. C) Cancel the order.

Both B and C are now somewhat irreverent since you've made this public on Reddit of all places. I would have consulted with other Vendors privately about the matter than make it public. A is your safest option at this point, probably don't need to venture too far.

Bottom line, should have kept this more private than public...on Reddit. Hope things work out ;)

[1 Points] SpayceGhost:

Personally I would just meet up in person provided you've done business with the customer before or have a quick Skype session to feel each other out. If anything go a coffee shop to do the transaction so you won't get robbed and the btc are instantly released. I for one would love this method

[1 Points] trooper_sips:

potato gun, drugs inside potato, fire through window

[0 Points] 1ReviewReviewer1:

If you are seriously asking if you should physically drop drugs off at his location instead of doing your standard routine opsec... Perhaps vending is not for you...

[1 Points] youtakesally:

If somehow LE happens to find out about this transaction it will be much easier to track you down...
