Bitcoin Alternatives

I'm planning to deal on DNM (not drugs) but want to do it without using bitcoins. Wait, hear me out on this. Proposed plan is to set myself up as a vendor on a clearnet site such as Newegg or Rakuten using a fake ID. Customers would make a purchase for a fake $50 or $100 etc item after buying a prepaid debit card & using this for the purchase. Newegg would transact the sale for the fake item, which wouldn't ship, but I would ship the items I am selling to customer after funds are received in my account. If necessary I could assist clients in setting up their own fake accounts on Newegg etc. Opinions?

Why would you want to do this? Your process is overly complicated and less secure than using an anonymous currency. Also not sure how this would work on any DNM; how will the market take its cut? Most likely, the market would shut your vending account down when they realizing you're circumventing them.

This has been done before in several iterations, and it hasn't worked out very well.

Not too long ago, invite only message boards would point you in the direction of Ebay vendors, who when you selected a certain item would instead ship you drugs. Eventually, LEO's would get an invite, place an order and would inevitably bust the dealer. Also, you run the risk of someone legitimately wanting whatever fake item you're selling.

there was also the Farmers market, a clearnet precursor to Silk Road. Instead of bitcoin, money was transferred to an intermediate paypal account, and when you indicated you received the item the escrow account would send the money on to the vendor. Of course, with such an easy way to trace money back the Farmers Market went belly up as well.

Reading up on Farmers Market is actually pretty interesting, and you can clearly see how it inspired many of the things we use today on the markets.

So you are prepared to submit a W9, obtain a fake business account at a bank, etc? So you are ready to add fucking fraud against the IRS to the list of other charges you'd potentially accrue in addition to banking fraud charges? Also, do your buyers actually want to use their own clearnet accounts, potential credit cards, to engage in this fraud? In addition, you are shipping. I guess the customer could put in fake addresses and such, but they'd have your customer's IP's (newegg would).

My opinion - the worst business model of 2015.

Why, oh why, would you even want to do this? This isn't 1999. There are platforms that serve us well. On top of that, you have taxable income, which I suppose you are using a fake ID and such, but holy shit dude, I see a bunch of bread crumbs leading to your door.

The problem, once you tell the cops where to buy from you, you end up in jail.
