Any risk of arrest/prosecution from transactions only (no physical evidence of drugs)?

So most of us have dozens of transactions on the DNMs. I always assumed the only legal risk was in relation to any drugs we have in our possession/in transit at one particular time. I know it's unlikely but if LE did manage to prove that we've purchased dozens of orders of drugs, could we face prosecution for those (assume that the actual drugs themselves have long since been consumed) or are we only at risk for any 'current' transactions (i.e. where drugs are intercepted)?

you should have 0 transactions or clean it up. Either way actual possession of narcotics > what the DNM may say you have..

[2 Points] None:

very unlikely, unless you're up to some serious shit and you catch conspiracy charges

[1 Points] DEA-VAN-024:

Ya you could catch a conspiracy charge, but that would have to be if they REALLY wanted you. I believe that applies to maybe some market admins and possibly a few of the top vendors. Or I could be totally wrong idk i'm just a guy on the internet lol

[1 Points] crystaldust:

they could make conspiracy charges up if they could tie the transactions together. so they would have to be able to follow the money from your exchange to the market order then to the vendor and vendors exchange. so it depends on how you buy your Bitcoin and how your vendor exchanges. I don't think without that type of receipt they could prove a conspiracy charge. I don't think it is anything to worry about unless your market gets shut down and even then I would not worry too much because your using PGP and orders don't archive for usually longer than a month.

No.

Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones would be continually in prison.

However, a record or good estimation of a vendor's historical sales can be used to prove the extent of his crimes. Fortunately nearly all of our marketplaces exit scam before they get busted, taking evidence of our sales, feedback etc with them.

You will find this hard to believe, but it's true. There was a guy called "gwern" who fastidiously "scraped" it all, then dumped it in the public domain where every prosecuter in the world can access it a few months after cops showed an interest and subpoena'd him. He was encouraged by reddit users, and even made a moderator by the mod team who's "main aim is to keep you safe". If you are a DNM customer who "flips" locally and the cops can prove your marketplace username, you could also be bitten by the Asperger's syndrome - induced obsessive data-mining of Reddit's beloved "Rainman".

"gwern for president". Do you remember saying stuff like that, you idiots? In Family Guy, When Peter Griffin is caught peeping under the door of a ladies toilet stall and say "I'm sub-normal" she says "Ah bless. Come in, I'll show you how everything works down there".

If gwern stood outside a crackhouse with his clipboard and bicycle crash helmet on, making a note of every customer entering and leaving he would get stabbed up. when its every crackhouse on the darknet and it goes on for years, our moderator team elected him to boss us about.

Personally, that's what I call "poor judgement".

Lets have a round of applause for the gwern supporters who invited him in to our toilet stall. Its not Dustin Hoffman's fault, he doesn't know any better, no matter how high-functioning or good at counting cards he is. Its the fault of his brother, Tom Cruise. Unbelievably, I think Cruise is still a moderator.

I sometimes feel like the only thinking adult on reddit. I was almost hounded off here by the mods, and their inner circle of disgraced silk road and evo mods like Umbreon and Uncle_unicorn last summer before gwern stepped down. Do you remember all that? Vendor_BBMC NO PROOF?

[1 Points] Satoshi-:

As an example; deposit into a fresh account on Nucleus, withdraw into the Alphabay account you order to.

If feds bust Nucleus, no orders would be linked to the account you deposited directly to.

They can't charge you for not ordering something.
