Searched some other threads on this topic, didn't see one that described this scenario exactly.
Received an express mail package the other day. Exterior envelope was intact and didn't appear damaged. Upon opening, there was evidence of the vendor's stealth efforts: an innocent item and a plastic bag that appeared cut open. NO PRODUCT.
Spoke with the vendor and they offered to reship and said "sorry for the mistake."
I see two options. Either the vendor spent 20 bucks to ship a package without product, or it was removed en-route. Can't see why LE would remove product but still deliver pacakge, but if it was removed in transit, somebody knows what I'm up to, and that's not a fun idea.
Should I be looking over my shoulder, or just chill? Am I retarded for having the vendor re-ship? Any other theories?
My guess is that a USPS employee took the contents for themself. Not that uncommon.
