BTC ATM requiring more PI the past few weeks

I've always just bout a few hundred. I went to my regular spot and they texted me a link asking for more information to be filled out. My phone was fucking up and I wasn't in the mood so I just left. Also, on this one, they said to not circumvent the $900 transaction to not show ID or they would crack down. Makes me think they have facial recognition software/keep track of phone #'s used for text.

I went to another one and they asked for address and that was it.

Anyone else running into this?

I once did 2 separate purchases of the max amount for no ID. Used 2 different phone numbers, but put coins in the same wallet. Got a text later from the bitcoin ATM saying I would be banned from using it if I did that again.

God, I only wish the atms in my area were so lax about verification. Around here, they get a selfie of you holding your photo ID the first time you use a kiosk and then scan the barcode on the back of it to log you into the system.

Once was asked for a SSN while trying to use a BTC ATM, after only having using it once before. This was around 2 years ago though, and I'm pretty sure it was just a scam
