My Controlled Delivery (how I fucked up)

Damn, I hate explaining my CD...

Anyways, yes story time. 2 years ago I placed an order. (I can't remember what the vendors name was, and I'm pretty sure it was on nucleus, but may have been on Evo) I was moving ethylone to my local markets, along with weed, wax, 25-i/25-c (which I just call pandora, because sometimes you never know what to expect with it), and a few other products. I was basically a 1 stop party shop and always honest with my customers about what they were putting in their bodies. I had always ordered my MDMA domestically, and only sold it to certain customers. Anyways back to the main story here.

I ordered 100 pressed pills (with a weight equivalent to an oz) from NL. I also had 250 hits of 25-i/25-c mixed blotter on the way and a hp of weed (the weed never showed up, probably got scammed, but it didn't matter in the end). I got the blotters no problem and within the stated delivery time. Being that I was also bringing in Ethylone from China at the time I wasn't too worried about the MDMA. However, the day before I got the CD I had been questioning if something may have happened, as the shipping hadn't been updated and the tracking said it was still going through customs. I knew something was up in my mind, but thought I was being paranoid.

The next day I finally got a call back from the place I had recently applied to, as I had been looking for a job for quite sometime. While I was out the CD was performed. My fiancé was the one who accepted the package (there was no signing for it, and if I had been there I would have known to turn the package away as it should have been put in my mailbox). After the package had been delivered and a few minutes had passed, there was another knock at the door. This was a woman from the local narcotics division who claimed to be a neighbor, and asked if the package that had just been delivered might have been for her. My fiancé said, "no, I don't think so." And she was immediately told to get down with her hands on her head. (She was also 9 months pregnant at the time) They then entered my apartment, with a warrant, and began going through everything.

When I got back I saw their van and the gov plates on it. I knew what had happened, and knew I couldn't run. I walked into my apartment and was greeted to my crying fiancé, and 5 armed narcotics agents. (All sporting assult rifles. I mean shit they were fucking ready for a gun fight, and I lived in a nice town, like 250k minimum houses all around.) Rather than reading me my right they asked me to sign a piece of paper stating that I was aware of them. I read through it throughly to make sure they weren't trying to get one over on me, and signed it. After that they questioned me, without a lawyer present, and wanted to know what was in the package. I told them I had no idea, as it was unopened. They knew I was lying and pressed harder to get me to admit that I knew the contents. I did not admit it, and kept saying that I had no idea.

While I was being questioned they were going through my personal stash. Yeah I know I fucked up, I should have cleaned house. They found my bho, my weed, my other assortment of all sorts of random drugs I had been collecting, and my personal cash stash of a little over 9,800 usd. At that point they told me that if I worked with them that it might help reduce my sentence for what I was going to be charged with. I told them I'd work with them, but knew in my mind I would do everything possible to waste their time and give as much misdirection as possible.

After that they told me to call my guy and try to set up a buy. I then called my own burner number (lol, I had it in my car too). After calling and no response they said that they were going to want to have me try again, but at a later date. Then, to my supprise, they fucking packed up all their shit (and my drugs, money and my phone), and fucking left.

So, the first thing I decided to do was to call the people I had selling for me and warn them. I told them to sell everything half price and move it all. This ended up working out not so great for me as they ended up taking all the money and the drugs, basically robbing me. I also contacted the vendor who sent the MDMA and explained that he was a fucking idiot. I never got anything back from him as far as btc either.

A week after all this went down my son was born, and I began speaking to my lawyer. I was extemely honest with him, and he cost me in total $10,000.

After a couple of weeks went by the local narcotics team contacted me, and began trying to get me to give up someone. I ended up calling more burner numbers that I had set up, and basically took them on a wild goose chase that covered 3 cities. This happened over a months time, and gave me the ability to see how smart and how ignorant these people were. During each of these encounters I recorded the color, style, and licence plate numbers of every vehicle they had been using. This information was then passed along to my dealer and other individuals that needed to know what was going on in order to stay safe.

Eventually they got tired of stuff never happening and told me to turn myself in. I did. I knew.it was time to man up and be responsible for my own mistakes.

I spent a month in county total. I saw a judge the first week who basically told me my charges and that was it. The charges themselves included: felony possession of marijuana, trafficking of MDMA of 114 grams (because they take the weight of the pills too, and not just the actual weight of the drugs, this include my 10g personal stash and the pills from the unopened package), and a bunch of other smaller charges. Eventually I went before a judge in the court room and was released on a 100k bail, which my fiance's family paid for and received back when I showed up to my final court date nearly a year later.

My charges at the end of all of it were: possession with intent of MDMA ( for my 10g personal stash), and felony possession of marijuana. The rest of the MDMA (from the unopened package) they couldn't charge me with, I did not know the contents and my lawyer said I did good by saying I had no idea what it was and not making up a bull shit story.

Why was this all I got: my lawyer told me that helping them or agreeing to help them would help with what my ending charges would be, even if nothing came of it. Also in the state I live in (yes I'm in the U.S.A.) there is a law of some sort that takes into account your offenses. What this did for me was allow me to take a plea deal, basically say I'm guilty of the charges, and upon completion of my probationary terms the charges will be dismissed.

Now, maybe the judge was nice, maybe my lawyer was good, but all in all I got lucky. My lawyer is good friends with the DA and the judge in my case (who is actually under investigation for something relating to him accepting illegal campaign funds).

My punnishment: I spent a month in the county jail, and 3 months in was is the equivalent to a prison work camp, 10 years of probation, a little over $1,000 in fines, and 120 hours of community service.

To recap:

  1. I fucked up. It was my fault. Except for the packaging, the vendor must have sent them in a fucking dvd case because when the officer showed me the package I could hear them moving around inside something plastic, and it was about the size of a dvd case. I spoke extensively to the vendor about how to package the shipment in order to make sure it got to me safely. This included mbb, mylar bags, decoy, etc. He did none of that from my assumptions, as it never even got opened. Basically I fucked up and ordered from an inexperienced vendor, and from NL too.

  2. I fucked up by not cleaning house. This is rule #2 in my book for ordering from DNMs. Rule #1 is to not order from an idiot. (Let's be honest there's a lot of rule #1's)

  3. I claimed everything in my apartment in order to avoid having my fiancé charged with anything. (The did leave a bag of dmt that they didn't find which I did, a grinder full of weed which I smoked, and all of my glass. I still have one of my bongs, and keep it at someone else's house inside a case with a lock. They don't do drugs either.)

  4. I never gave up anyone or informed on anyone. However, 1 person did end up getting arrested because they were sending me pictures of drugs and prices while my phone was being held as evidence. The only reason I found out was because the police left the messages on my phone.

  5. My situation is different from many others, and my or may not help you.

As for me now:

I live with my son and fiancé at her parents house. I have no friends. I don't go anywhere except work and school (about a year left on my undergraduate degree). I'm afraid to walk down the beer isles at the grocery store, because magically somehow I could go to jail (me just being paranoid). Every day of my life fucking sucks, but my son makes it better as well as knowing my family is here to support me through this rough time. Basically I live in fear, all the time.

This is the second time I've had to type this out, my phone crashed the app first time as I was almost done. Damn updates. I am open to questions. Also please refrain from spewing bull shit about how this is not true, or I'm a fucking idiot. I already know it's true it fucking happened to me, and I know I'm fucking stupid everyone has already told me.

I apologize for the length, but I felt it was necessary to be as detailed as possible. Also, my arrest was never published in any newspaper or anywhere else for that matter. I'm not sure why this is, but it does make me happy that it has never been published. I also apologize for formatting errors, I will be trying to correct them as much as possible.

Not DNM related, but i got busted with a large quantity of MDMA a few years back, allegedly for distribution purposes. Managed to get off on a technicality.

Tl;dr: from someone who's been where you are now, use this chance to cut it out. They know who you are now, and further activity will be monitored. Choose a new career and be happy :)

Thanks for sharing the story. I wish you the best with your son and even though what happened to you sucks, I hope that you can also appreciate the second chance you got from life.

[10 Points] kill_all_flies:

Really good read. The people saying you got off scot-free and belittling your paranoia obviously don't understand how much of a burden ten fucking years of probation is. Also, NL was no where near as hot as it is now two years ago. Even a year ago you would consistently see a lot of people ordering from NL on this sub.

Question, were all the drugs you were selling being sent to the one address? Honestly I would assume that much weight coming from China would be quite risky as well (probably not NL risky, but still).

[6 Points] ravendarkh0lme:

Lol at everyone that thinks the U.S is some gestatpo country. Clean record, keep your mouth shut. And you still don't have to snitch anyone out. Just need the income to have a lawyer to speak for you. And you're for the most part OK.

I'm living proof that charges get dropped if you can keep your mouth shut long enough.

[8 Points] Anothersleeper:

This is why i stopped dealing after 3 months. Fuck jail.

I'm sure you know this, but you got the legal bargain of a lifetime. Your counsel was smart, knew the system, and worked hard to get you an outcome few people ever get in your circumstances. I know probation sucks, but your lawyer performed a minor fucking miracle in achieving your sentencing.

That, and your behaving like a stand-up guy and not an idiot when it all went south, have bought you a second chance at life. Good luck to you, your wife, and your child, man. I am so glad not to read about another young family destroyed by unjust drug laws.

Thank you for sharing. I like DNMs coz around here everything is junk and scary. I only do domestic and personal use for the most part. But every time I order I have that sick feeling of worry even after successful delivery wondering when/if and what my family would think. I am sorry to hear about ur fiancé. Silver lining, her and her family must really love you. At least you had loyalty and support. Some people are commenting you got off easy, blah, blah. It does not diminish ur experience. Keep on keepin on.

Also very cool of you to stay on here to school newbies. That is much needed!! Thanks and good luck.

Thanks for taking the time to write this out and share. Very interesting.

[3 Points] LettersfromIreland:

This is really upsetting to think about

[3 Points] beastbreh:

Thanks for sharing. I can't believe you took 10 years papers. That really sucks man. Probably could have done a 2-4 year bid and been over and done with it. Do everything you are supposed to do on probation. Treat it like its your fucking job and don't give those people a reason to violate you. If you pay off all your fines and have no violations, you may be able to go before a judge after 5 years and file a motion for early termination. Good luck.

[2 Points] 1ugly:

What are drugs?

[2 Points] SgtFaecesProcessor:

Great read but my take away was cleaning house. The way you explain it if you had cleaned house you would have walked away scot-free. It's shitty and it's fucked up but the way I'm seeing it is the less they can find the less they can charge you with, the smaller the punishment, if any.

So how smart and ignorant were they?

[2 Points] Stoogeshillington:

Thank you for sharing your experience. I was out with friends, checked out this story and was hooked had to read the whole damn thing. Sorry this happened too you, i can think of a million other dnm users who deserved this chain of events more. At least they didnt bury you under the jail right? consider ordering domestic with a drop if you ever decide to purchase for personal use.

[2 Points] pluvoaz:

My lawyer is good friends with the DA and the judge in my case

This is probably the most important point of the story. In my case (not drugs, but child endangerment stemming from my divorce) they tried to stick me with multiple felonies but I wouldn't budge. They tried to scare me, but I drew my line in the sand and told them only deal I would take. When we walked into court for the first appearance ('how do you plead'), my attorney knew everyone at the other table, joked with the bailiff & the judge's clerk & after I plead not guilty they offered me a plea that was exactly what I said I would accept.

Things went from multiple felonies (something like 5 years) to a misdemeanor that was purged after 18 months probation. No time & retained primary custody but I did have to give up drinking & leave my guns with a friend for those 18 months. Even got my CCW permit back.

Also good on you for being very careful what you sign. After we made out deal, the judge was reading the details & I had to get my attorney to speak up because they tried to slip some conditions in that we hadn't discussed. The judge struck them out & we initialed them & BOOM, the best $7500 (for less that an hour of his time) I ever spent.

[2 Points] None:

It sounds like what you got was a conditional discharge... If I misread wrong, then disregard me, because I am seriously fucked up right now

[1 Points] bobsos:

Good story. Sounds like you got off okay considering the amount of drugs you had and the little operation you had set up.

[1 Points] CDXXRoman:

I told them I had no idea, as it was unopened

Thats where you fucked up. You should have said.

10 years probation...good fucking luck man. If you like drugs and dont have much self control, youre completely fucked. Thats going to be a hard 10 years....

othsr than clean gouse what would would advice be to a newbie ti stay safe? also vendor shame?

Good shit bro, for real. Someone tried to snitch on me but it was so obvious with how they were trying to lure a friend and I to their location and seemed so eager to discuss drugs in texts. Not as if we had an official "protocol" but it was just so outside of character that it almost seemed like he was warning me lol. I would even have thought he was warning us if not for the fact that he got two others we know busted after he couldn't get me. As for the guy that got busted, he should have been using a burner to do that as well.

But yeah, know that this anon appreciates you sticking it through. The one time I got fucked was when I was still a juvenile (thankfully) and they tried to get me to snitch on my guys too. Didn't happen then, wouldn't happen now.

[1 Points] None:

Probably would have got less if you simply didn't say a word at all and said you will cooperate in any way you understand, but plead lack of understanding always (act borderline retarded)

[1 Points] jamesbond0512:

After the package had been delivered and a few minutes had passed, there was another knock at the door.

The package was left sealed, and they still knocked on your house? So if someone orders and they let the package sit assuming their house is clean, they would be free of charge?

The did leave a bag of dmt that they didn't find which I did, a grinder full of weed which I smoked, and all of my glass.

Where did you stash that?

My charges at the end of all of it were: possession with intent of MDMA ( for my 10g personal stash), and felony possession of marijuana. The rest of the MDMA (from the unopened package) they couldn't charge me with, I did not know the contents and my lawyer said I did good by saying I had no idea what it was and not making up a bull shit story.

So basically if your house was clean, you wouldn't have faced a charge?

[1 Points] CookyDough:

I ordered 100 pressed pills (with a weight equivalent to an oz) from NL

So many controlled delivery stories start out like this.

[1 Points] Picard69:

I read the story, twice, and on the second time through this caught my attention and I didn't see anybody address it in the comments. You said that you had checked the tracking on the package and saw that it was held up in customs....but you also denied knowing what was in the package- to your benefit. Weren't they able to see (through your phone or cpu or however else) that you had checked the tracking and use it against you?

Very good read, but I'm very interested in this part as well...

[1 Points] BoxAddict:

Damn man for a non-violent offense. I racked 5 felony charges with a max combined sentence of 24 years for STABBING 2 people and it wasn't this bad. At the end of it all I spent 16 hours in jail, 10k bail (1k to bondsman), 10k lawyer, 12k medical expenses (for the stabbed cunts), one year of probation (12 visits) and still ended up with no criminal charges or even a footnote on my background checks (still visible in LE database tho).

Just putting it into prospective I feel for you bro.

[1 Points] danoob9000:

Was the money worth it? what does your life look like now?

[1 Points] asshair:

Do you think you would've gotten less time if you didn't admit anything or try to help them out or anything like that?

In New York City this is a joke.

[0 Points] octomarvel:

Of all things you've been commended for, I wanna commend you for the misinformation and misdirection.

So many say "don't say a word" which does nothing to leading them away from the trail. Your mistakes were negligible but the misinformation was a great move.

Good thing you never set up a voicemail on those burners huh?

=)
