I had made an FE order with a vendor 3+ days ago and he has not logged in to respond (accept/reject the order). The vendor is reputable and I have used him several times and expect a USA vendor to be particularly active this week. However, I no longer wish to make these orders due to the amount of time that has passed and the fact that his established shipping schedule wouldn't have him sending anything out until Monday at this point.
When I went to cancel the order (they were FE'd but still in escrow as they were not accepted by the vendor), I accidentally clicked the box and hit delete - effectively deleting these pending orders from my cart/order history.
My question is - is there anyway to cancel the orders still? I assume not, so the real question is how long do I have to wait until they auto-cancel, or do I have to wait for the vendor to respond no matter how long that takes? I had assumed that an order not responded to would auto-cancel at some point, but I really do not know and it is not stated anywhere on their site. I have created support tickets but obviously don't anticipate getting any help there. Can any vendors or buyers help shed some light on what will happen next (outside of the vendor eventually logging in and responding to the order)?
Many US vendors are actually not active this week because they take it off for the holiday. Most of them post something in their profile if they are doing that but I'm sure some just ghost because they think it is bad OpSec to broadcast their schedule.
