Donate Drug Money To Charity. Merry Christmas! [link for proof]

Just like last December some Vendors are making a bitcoin donation to a deserving charity, and I invite other Darknet users and Vendors to join us, and I'll match their donations!

The charity I selected for myself this year is BitGive, donating to support their GiveTrack platform. http://bitgivefoundation.org/

I like them because I want to know that the money I give to a charity helps those in need, and as little of it as possible is wasted on the bureaucracy or corporate overhead that will always come with maintaining a charity.

GiveTrack is a platform that has the ability to both a) track where money you donate to a charity is going, so the public can safeguard against graft and corruption in a charity, and b) enable those donations to reach people in need much faster, by leveraging blockchain transparency

https://www.forbes.com/sites/laurashin/2016/12/08/want-to-follow-your-donation-in-real-time-bitcoin-non-profit-bitgive-launches-donation-tracker/

I've already made a donation to BitGive of 2.05441349 BTC, blockchain proof here

(the originating BTC address is my 'charity' address and starts 1Trip1):

MY MATCHING PLEDGE:

I will match any donations given by the DNM community until the end of the year.

I'll also match anything given to another charity. I recommend https://proofofdonation.com/ to find charities that have a public bitcoin address.

NOTE ON WHY I'M DOING THIS:

I'd like to point out that by making this donation as TripWithScience, I can't use it as a tax write off next year (well, I guess I could still claim this and try for a $2k reduction on my taxes, but handing the IRS paperwork that links my social security number to a known drug vendor's bitcoin address is... probably not a bright idea).

So here are my reasons for being public about this donation and linking it to my Darknet Identity (in no particular order):

  1. I want to do something that helps public perception of the darknet drug community. We're a bunch of computer nerds who like to get high sometimes but we keep crime off the streets by buying online. Doing things like this helps us argue that we're a net positive for society. Some journalist who writes an article about criminals on the darknet can link to this reddit post and say "They also do some really nice things, those guys."

  2. I want my customers to know that a portion of their money goes to charity. (Remember those PSAs that said "If you buy drugs, you may be funding terrorists"? Having that thought in the middle of a mushroom trip... probably isn't a fun time. Knowing your money bought high quality mushrooms AND helps people in need can make for a much more pleasant trip.)

  3. I may get caught someday. And my defense attorney can show this post to the judge and say [note: I am not a lawyer, so I'm paraphrasing] "Yeah, but check this out. He like, you know... charity and stuff. C'mon, dude, am I right?"

Happy Holidays,

Trip

Stay safe, man, you already do good for the world doing what you do. Two years ago your product was my first journey into the world of psychedelics and it's a big part of why I was able to reclaim my life from a heavy 14 year opiate addiction I'd started as a teen. I love life in a way that I never knew would be possible, and it might not have happened had you not been there to open the door with such a safe, accessible, and reliable product.

Although I've found the most benefit from LSD and DMT, you do a public good by offering such an easy first step into that whole world for the people who need it. The trajectory of my life since trying your product has only been upward; while it might not be the sole cause it's tough to deny the correlation.

I'll check my blockchain wallet when I get home. Stay safe and have a happy new year!

I have a funny story. I'll preface this by saying I'm not in the US so don't wet yourselves because mail/courier practices are different over here. So I had a big fat package of drugs on it's way to my drop. The courier couldn't find the drop so returned it to the depot. Slightly miffed, I rearranged delivery. Over the course of the next 5 days the courier repeatedly failed to deliver the pack.

I chased it via email (deliberately chosen email provider accessed through tor on a fresh account) and couldn't get any reasonable explanation. Then they started insisting I go and collect the package from the depot and said there was "nothing else they could do". Now I know from experience that this depot is locked down like Fort Knox. It has multiple layers of security, 2 id checks, 2 security gates with big burly guys, metal detectors... this is not the sort of place you wanna go collecting drugs from as it is an ideal location for LE to shit on you.

At this point I'm close to writing off the package :(

As a final hurrah I decided to go all out... and email the fucking CEO of the courier company with a sob story and a clear trail showing his company had been completely inept. This guy is a real big shot but there is loads of promotional stuff in the media about him really caring about his business, wanting to improve etc etc. Quite quickly I'm copied into an email obviously from his personal phone which went something like this:

Hey Bobby, this customer is obviously having a major issue, could you fix this for me?

Now it turns out "Bobby" is the company CS director... and like a boss he'd obviously kicked ass. Suddenly I'm getting apologies emailed to me left right and centre... and within an hour my pack is delivered to my drop :D

Why am I telling this story? Well the CEO's office also contacted me asking if they could give me a gift of a Christmas hamper? So I'm thinking... er... although that would be cool, having a massive Hamper delivered to my drop would not really work! So I asked them to donate something to my chosen charity instead.

After a few days they emailed to say they couldn't donate a hamper (their chosen gift) as my chosen charity wouldn't accept anything with perishables. So they'd donated £30 ($36) instead.

Having seen your post I feel like a bit of a knob and agree the least we can do with our ill gotten gains is to donate a little to people less fortunate (who maybe haven't got the ill morals required to deal drugs)... so I have just matched their donation x10 and given £300 to a UK homeless charity. No need for you to match it (I already matched the courier, haha), I can't prove any of this.

Anyway I hope you all enjoyed the story. It seemed appropriate for this sub/thread :D

Fuck yeah, Ill send over a bit. How do I identify the charge so you can match it?

[2 Points] monoatomic:

Is it possible that a charity would have to turn over drug money to LE if pressed on this? IE, should it be kept low-key?

[2 Points] ShadowClones:

this shit could be a great headline on the news, "criminal darknet drug dealer donates thousands to charity" - I said it here first!

MDMA and psilocybin has helped my dear friend who was in Afghanistan beat PTSD to bring hope and optimism back into his life, I mean it completely changed his life and he's doing awesome work. It is a crime against humanity that such transformative tools are off limits because of ignorance and misinformation. Personally, MDMA, psilocybin and LSD have enriched and empowered my life and those of close ones in countless ways.

For those who don't know, founded in 1986, the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit research and educational organization that is doing incredible and tireless work to fulfill their vision of a world where psychedelics and cannabis are safely and legally available for beneficial uses, and where research is governed by rigorous scientific evaluation of their risks and benefits.
