Introducing Open Area, a new hacking/carding forum (and marketplace) on I2P!

Dear members of /r/darknetmarkets,

We are pleased to announce that there's a new forum/marketplace opening its doors! It's called Open Area. It's located on the I2P network (and only on the I2P network).

[Before we continue, if you've never heard of I2P, please read these articles: 1, 2, 3. Like Tor, I2P is quite promising, although it doesn't have the same user base. Here's a link to the portable I2P project: https://github.com/ThePrudentNinja/I2PBrowserWin]

What is Open Area? We aim to build a fresh hacking and carding community. We'd like this place to be a sharing space where topics like fraud, hacking, carding, social engineering, etc. are discussed. But we are also open to drugs-related discussions.

We're also offering a forum-based marketplace. Anything can be sold. There are no fees. You just need to get verified by the administration to start selling. If we build a big user base on the forum, we might ditch the forum-based marketplace and launch a fully featured marketplace. We'll see.

There's already Alphabay for fraud stuff, why do we need Open Area? It's true, as of now, Alphabay is the place for this kind of stuff. But we think it's lacking the community part, where projects are launched and information is shared. Also, we think I2P is better than Tor for hidden services. And even more: we are missing TCF (although we're still pissed that they exit-scammed).

I2P? Wtf? Simply put, I2P is like Tor, only better at hidden services. With the Tor Browser Bundle, Tor has gained a huge user base. I2P is still lacking a good and simple way to connect to the network. But it's quite ease to get on I2P nonetheless.

If you keep the I2P router running continuously, performance is dramatically improved, or failing that, if you run it a couple of times in a week, you can still usually get connected quite fast (5 min max) and the speed is way enough for browsing. Privacy and security are much higher if you keep it running for a long time with its port forwarded and lots of Shared/Participating Bandwidth, but it's still strongly anonymous even without doing that. Then again, once you understand what I2P does and how it does it (read the links suggested in the beginning), you'll wonder why so many people are still on Tor!

Aren't "fraud" and "community" incompatible terms? We like to think that ethics of fraud exists. Fraudsters might want to build trust-communities where they don't deceive each other. But it's true that there will always have some people to use these communities as vulnerabilities to exploit and deceive. Let's get past these people and build something anyway.

That's it for the Q&A guys. Here's some more info:

"We like to think that ethics of fraud exists" - you certainly must have been using to much drugs. Its the statement one would find from a loser who would steal from his own grandmothers last life savings to get a fix..

There is no honour amongst creditcard thieves or stealing/cheating fraudsters. Actually they would probably make the world much better by being 6 feet underground.

How about adding a suicide guide to your forum?
