What to do with a late shipped escrow order on Nuc?

I'm not going to mention the vendors name until everything is sorted out. Made an order with priority last sunday, marked shipped last monday, nothing on friday. This is USA domestic, nothing ever takes longer than that for me usually, maybe at most a week if vendor has a heavy load and marks shipped before shipping.

I message vendor, he apologizes for the problem, and says that he had shipping delays all week and they all went out friday(yesterday) so the shipping "countdown" on nuc, is 7 days, which will be tomorrow. It's an escrow order, verified vendor, and only way to not release funds is to make an order complaint, which I don't want to do, I just don't wanna release until I freakin have it. What's the best course of action here? Vendor is communicating with me pretty well (that's why I made an order from him in the first place) and all his lisitings are full escrow. I don't wanna release until it's here but don't wanna file an order complaint and fuck things up for him, unless I actually get scammed( I don't see that being likely, just a shitty shipping delay)

TL;DR What would be your personal advice if you're reading this?

Dispute - Nucleus disputes are working differently.

There is no mod involved, just you and the vendor. If the order arrives you can select 'I want 0% from escrow' and hit send, the vendor can then accept it and collect the funds.

But only do that after the order arrived, otherwise he can collect the funds and you're fucked if the order won't arrive.

Your first dispute extends the auto finalize date by a few days with no admin / mods involved. Had a package not arrive (vendor basically never shipped it...) And he refused me no hassles and no mods got involved at all.

You can get a mod involved if you are not happy with the settlement the vendors offers.
