Regarding the timeframe between Dream Market removal and TR going silent soon after:

TR got hyped and was #2 Market behind Dream a week ago. #1 and #2 spot both resulting because of a massive user influx via Reddit / DDW after the Alpha/Hansa fiasco.

And yes Dream has problems. But however me and a ton of (silent majority) never had any with it. And some of those problems that happened come naturally with such an old market. Shit sticks. And people getting fished and still blame Dream for it are another story. Yet Agora/Nucleus/Alpha/Evo/Hansa are gone and Dream is still there.

So saying that the final straw was Speedstepper not answering the Mods with a signed reply just feels, especially regarding the timing, more than fishy. More so that the current state results in Dream getting removed and Traderoute getting a Sticky.

TLDR: Being the biggest DNM is a multi-million dollar business which also has the capacity to route public opinion by paying Mods influencers.

Yeah having Dream pulled off the “super list” or whatever seemed weird to me too. This is just one of several forums where people discuss DNM...to suggest that the mods of this sub can hector and make demands from an admin of a market like Dream is kind of ridiculous when you really think about it.

[12 Points] ajax_jives:

So TradeRoute paid the feds running this sub to remove Dream so that they could pull the plug a day later? I agree the timing is suspicious but I don't think this is the answer.

these are the same mods that suggested that people should go to Hansa when it was a honey pot.

Yeah it’s fishy but what can you expect from those same type of people.

What I thought was funny was that they told everyone to go to their super list sub to discuss the issue and when people there told them that it was a bad idea they basically just told everyone to fuck off, we’er doing it anyways lol

Dream was taken off the superlist as part of a disinfo campaign. By who? Le? Tr? not sure. From the timing getting it removed was brought up and the time it was actually taken down was way too fast.Everyone knew dream had its problems but suddenly in one day everyone wants it off the sub? come on. There was a intent to get dream taken down and if poeple actually think it was for the whole of the community then thats hilarious. Le already have whatever they need from dream i believe their trying to move people to a honey pot or at least get majority people off a market they really cant get shit else from. To a market that can be compromised more easy maybe.

funny, making accusations like these with no shread of proof. If anything you said there is remotely close to the truth, then I have not seen even a mention of an offer to collude with them.

[1 Points] dnmthrowawayobvious:

I disagree, people always blame the mods of this sub everytime a market goes down. I once thought the way you did but after being through this multiple times you are giving the mods too much credit, they do a lot but manipulating opinions and puppeteering a billion dollar crime syndicate underground drug market is not one.

What would you guys say is the best alternative?

Im talking out of my ass, but I think bitcoin's recent erection has at least the slightest bit to do with all this

And yes Dream has problems.

I can not recall any market [not even ab] that had a list that long of complaints.

But however me and a ton of (silent majority) never had any with it.

how comes that this 'silent majority' did not speak out when we announced the superlist removal of dream? if you do not speak out for yourself you will not be heard. so if you want to give feedback, please do so.

And some of those problems that happened come naturally with such an old market.

refusing to sign a pgp message is not normal. neither is allowing doxxing vendors or letting busted vendors continuing to vend. or not banning hijacked accounts, . . .

Traderoute getting a Sticky.

because they went down first and the overwhelming majority of the posts was about tr. if you have been here in the past you know that this is common for such events.

Dream Market sucks. Stop crying.
