Will the dark net always be there?

I'm starting a new job soon, so I'm taking a break from buying happy stuff, at least for a few months. It's been a wild last year or so. With the haters tryna bring us down, we're the ainters who aint gonna let that happen, RIGHT!? Tell me we'll all still be doing this in 2-3 months! Tell me we'll still be doing this for the next several years....and FOREVERRRR!

Love you all, stay high.

Also, while I'm gone, someone should keep a journal of all the great HoS excuses I'll miss. She's getting good!

It's too big to stop now, that's why LE are using scare tactics now

If you define dark net as the place that you can only access with Tor, I think it will be replaced by Maidsafe or similar ideas.

I could also imagine that services like ebay + the dark net markets disappear and get replaced by Open Bazaar, for example, where you can buy both legal and illegal goods.

The more the NSA and their 'partners' Facebook&Google&Co. and governments like China and Russia abuse people's privacy, the faster the total anonymity will come.

Happy future, and before that, happy new year to all of you!

Here to stay, baby.

As long as the internet exists and there is demand for these services and products, yep.

How do you define dark market? If you are defining it as any marketplace peddling contraband over the internet or some network, of course it'll always exist, just as black markets always exist no matter how oppressive the government is. If you are asking if it'll exist in its current form for years down the road, probably not. There will always be new advances, new threats that require adaption, etc. And money is the best adapter of them all. If there is money to be made, someone will exploit technology to go and make it.

So rest assured that there will always be a marketplace of illegal goods and services. Those have existed in some form ever since governments placed rules that made those very goods and services illegal. Things can get more expensive, cheaper, whatever, but if there is a demand for something, there are those always willing to supply that demand for the right price.

Considering the deepweb is literally any part of the internet not indexed by a search engine. Yes.
