[GeneralQuestions]Why is Nucleus Still Market Warning?

Seriously... that 'possible admin dox' was a bigger joke than the 100 'possible admin dox' that appeared after Evolution went down - it's completely just not true.

1 > It wasnt even a possible admin dox - it was a possible forum mod dox. If one of the forum mods WAS to be dox'd, it wouldnt have any bearing on customer security, or the security of VRC (the admin)

2 > It doesnt even check out as a DOX on a random individual. The information inside of it doesnt correlate with itsself. Its just a randomly assembled fake dox. Whoever posted it didnt even go through the trouble of getting a dox on an actual person.

3 > Im not even a member of Nucleus. Hell Ive even had friction with VRC. I also think sooner or later a real vulnerability will be found on their site. But. Leaving them on the warning list over something so easily dispelled is kinda silly from a fairness standpoint.

Also why is Diabolus/SR3/SRR on the list? Like it doesn't even have a reason.

Why is Middle Earth on the list? I was the one who made the post about it being an insecure version of Django but by using a bug to disable their site they reacted quickly and fixed it. I have told the mods that over and over and it is still on the list. It should not be on the list, considering they fixed it.

Meanwhile Absolem/Havana a legitimately shady operation with security issues that they admitted to was removed from the list by complaining enough.

Seriously posting this shit again?

Abraxas - posted by /u/lysergico

Diabolus/SR3/SRR - well, it's the Silk Road name. Shouldn't be trusted on principle. The admin is a dick as well.

Nucleus - posted by /u/sharpshooter789

Middle Earth - posted by /u/haxforcrack

I don't know, I've never had a problem with Nucleus. I like the layout, it reminds me of Evo. Not to mention its the only market it seems that hasn't had problems with withdrawls, ddosing and uptime. It's always up. Haters gonna hate

[2 Points] rrtggds:

Because Nucleus admins/mods create vendor accounts with the sole purpose of scamming you. And because they have the power to filter the forums, you get banned when trying to expose them. And not to mention the dox, which were in fact real.

They also spread fud about rival vendors, who when trying to defend themselves on the forum, only get banned for their efforts

[1 Points] casecod:

Why is Nucleus considered a bad market? I use it mainly, but use BB and TMG when I need different vendors.

[1 Points] sapiophile:

Well, I've seen a bunch of posts here from folks who had disputes with vendors there (read: got robbed) and the Nucleus admins didn't give two fucks. So that's kind of a problem.

I agree; we ought to evaluate the current system. We will start a mod conversation on the topic.

The primary goal of this subreddit is to provide accurate information to users in order to keep them safe - an extremely difficult task in a system where absolute proof is hard or impossible to come by.

I would like to encourage anyone who has any input or suggestions on how we might best approach this fairly and responsibly to post their thoughts in this thread.

As well as design a system to ensure that warnings aren't placed haphazardly or inequitably, we will also look at the current list and evaluate if the warnings should remain. We never want to add or remove them without adequate consideration.
