Reddit opsec?

So obviously most of us probably don't give a shit about opsec on Reddit, i mean we're just roleplaying anyways. But I know LE has subpoenaed this sub before.

If you accidentally logged into a account created over tor one time on the clearnet could you potentially be de-anonymized? Or does a subpoena just reveal the i.p the account was created from?

Also, is there any better way too use Reddit over tor besides just allowing scripts? Is this really how vendors do it?

And yes my tinfoil hat is strapped plenty tight thank you for asking

I just like coming here to fuck up the statistics since I'm clean as fuck, never order shit never sold shit. I'm just here to play with fire.

Reddit logs IPs of you activity, not just the IP when you created the account. You can even see on your account profile the last couple of IP addresses used to login. So yes, logging in just once over clearnet deanonymizes you. How vendors or high profile targets do Reddit, no clue.

Always use minimal opsec so maybe one day if you're lucky, you may go to prison where you won't have to work or pay rent anymore.

I think there is a section about it in the dnm bible.

I don't think any of this is evidence unless you're already under an open investigation, even then they would have a hard time proving any of this is connected to your case or real. I mean it's just posts on Reddit. That's what I would think anyway, I'm no lawyer or tech professional.

Yes, it's called 'Whonix.' You can allow scripts with impunity on the 'Workstation VM' because, even if infected with malware, the workstation has no way of knowing what your external IP is. If it doesn't know it, it can't leak it. Tails, on the other hand, is potentially vulnerable to this problem. But, regardless of any solution you use...no tech can save you from shooting yourself in the foot (like logging into your Reddit account in the clear with your at-home IP. Game over).
