OPSEC question

So, I've got two PC's. Can't use TAILS because one is a Mac, the other won't launch Unsafe Browser to use the captive login screen (only have public WiFi access) due to DNS issues.

I've got a VPN and I'm using Tor. Would it be safe to use ISP -> VPN -> Tor under OS X or Windows or is this just terrible OPSEC?

Cheers.

Ugh. This is so annoying as I only want to get like a small amount of pharms but I don't want to be a noob and ruin my OPSEC over it. I guess I'll tumble my coin for now and wait for the right time unless someone gives me a half/all clear with that setup :(

Nobody seems to understand why they are using TAILS on here. Adding a VPN doesn't do anything like what TAILS does, so it can't replace it.

The reason you use TAILS is that everything it does is in memory, so it leaves no trace of what you've done on your computer. It doesn't hide the fact that you are using tor from your internet provider, which is the common(only?) reason to use a VPN with tor.

I don't think it's that big of a security lapse to use tor browser on windows as a buyer. Your biggest risk is getting some kind of malware that steals your market password. it's possible that the police could forensically recover some evidence against you, but it seems like they already caught you if they have your computer.
