PSA: Please do NOT direct deal with ANYONE.

I know, I'm a fucking idiot. What happened can't be undone. So here's a small story,

I have been mia from the subs and markets for about a month now due to the fact that me and another vendor were direct dealing through Wickr. Honestly thought he was a great fucking person. Always sent me sample packs and ALWAYS gave me more than what I paid for. (Mainly for personal use).

Fast forward a month later, I place a huge order with him (over 3-4 grand in btc) and he tells me that he will need to send it in small increments due to the fact that he thinks my drop is getting "suspicious" (I know, doesn't even make fucking sense). Me being the barred dumbass, just sent him the full payment because I felt like he was such a good man. That's where I fucked up. Trusting DDs over Market Escrow. Don't make the same mistake as me, guys.

Other than that, it's good to be back again. Life goes on. Happy Friday, everyone.

Is DD just sending coin directly to vendors address? If so, why would anyone do that?
Legit makes zero sense to me.

Can you name the vendor ?

Edit: don't know what good that would do considering you can't really prove anything. Damn OP that sucks.

so you sent him the btc, and then?

I see no problems doing DDs with people I've done business with before, or people I haven't. I prefer them anyway. A vendor is just as likely to be LE as a person you buy from off of Wickr or Jabber.

But doing what OP did, when it's so obvious a scam is just retarded. That's the only time you shouldn't do them, when you can't make educated decisions. You blindly trust someone when you never should. I mean, if 3-4 grand isn't going to put a hole in your wallet, that's OK.

You know how it goes, never FE more than you're willing and able to lose.
