MDMA raids in Canada

Thought this might be of interest to some people on this subreddit. Do you think this will make a dent in the current market? Will Canadian prices go up? It seems like these people had quite an operation going. 2,200 pounds of product seems like quite a bit to me.

Canadian LE says "people are under the impression that MDMA/MDA is a harmless drug. Estasy is toxic to the human body and our communities"

...The human body yes to a certain extent, but when did mdma/mda ever harm anyone's neighborhood or result in gangland shootings or have we ever heard of violence breaking out at a rave/edm show? MDMA/MDA is one of the rare substances that brings people together in a positive light. It may be toxic to the body in large persistent doses but that's neither LE's business nor their fucking problem. More drug war propaganda.

I wish I had 2200 pounds of MDMA. I'd roll myself into oblivion.

[4 Points] DrDoesLitl:

If they had 2200 lbs here, then they had 22000 lbs elsewhere.

[3 Points] R4ID:

east ottawa... the majority of canada's MDMA comes from BC so this wont be an issue.

[3 Points] Interversity:

What is 'Helionix'? Never heard of it and google turns up no relevant results

[2 Points] None:

I know 2 Canadian suppliers that are probably going to be hurting after this one.

Jesus,

Whoever ordered this much precursor at once is retarded.

These guys were obviously blinded by the money and got sloppy.

[1 Points] None:

Won't effect anything

Whow!

GFN...?

[1 Points] Swansonisms:

It's not going to change a damn thing in the overall market. Sure Ottawa and possibly even the T. could be affected temporarily but supply and demand will level it out. Montreal and BC both were totally unscathed and that's where near all is produced.

It sounds like they busted him for having a legally purchased product, did they tie the oil to the mdma lab?

[1 Points] SecondChanceUsername:

Not to incriminate anyone or anything, but to any bulk MDMA re sellers recall their return addresses from Ottawa? And from a vendor which alsodealth with MDA and ecstasy pilld...not to mention a possible return address that related to candles in some way. Im just trying to narrow it down to which vendor(s) is could have been. And it looks like the front runner for this bust happen to be either : GoodForNothing, GoinPostal, MMIMM, and/or LuckluciNO/Canadian Forger...ANy other possibilities...ALthough based solely on the amount of substances and the factit was Canada, its assume it was DN related and that it will most definetely affect the supply/street prices.

/u/MLP_is_my_OPSEC you must appeal to your countrymen...stop this madness!

Well, it depends if the people who were actually arrested with the products and supplies are the ones running the show are people working lower.

100kg of MDMA/MDA isn't actually that much when it comes down to it, some people move that in less then a year. What it comes down to is that is the connection to the lab going to be made and shut it down, causing huge problems? Are the operators caught with it?

The MDA we all know and love from canada (clear stuff) is made from PMK Oil, so unless there's a massive error in reporting and police work, this doesn't even effect the clear sass market.

The brown sugar moon rocks that come from Canada we all love are made in eastern canada I know and are from safrole oil, so I bet that this is connected to that product and that operation.

The grey transluscent/purple transluscent/black translsuscent MDMA vendors like rebel_alliance is made on the other side of Canada and shouldn't be a problem.

Eitherway the brown sugar moon rocks are an old old operation and won't end with this, although I'm sure it will cause a hiccup in supply and a shift in operations.
