If a vendor prints out a shipping label (USPS priority) on lets say 04/16, but ends up shipping the actual package on 04/23... what would happen?
Does USPS just have the package being RTS? Or are shipping out packages past the day it was supposed to be dropped off to the PO still processed normally?
I've searched online and the USPS site itself, but I haven't been able to get a clear answer. "You're responsible for dropping the package on time etc etc" or "It depends on what company/vendor you acquired the postage". But I also know that some/many vendors (the bad ones anyways) ship out packages extremely late. For example, I read a post about ToH's reshippers taking an extremely long time to ship out a package and the customer checked the tracking and saw that it had been in "processing" or something for almost two weeks.
I'm gonna try giving my local PO a call (burner), but I wanted to see if anyone could help me out with this before I do so. Thank you (:
