So I'm lucky enough to have never had to dispute an order or even open up a trouble call on anything. That being said, I'm looking for opinions of what to do in the following case: Order placed Aug 30th, Marked Shipped from the vendor on Sep 1st, received an ambiguous about how "we're not presently shipping to PO boxes because we hear they might not be safe, but I'll send it anyway if you want to assume the risk". (I've never seen a message or request like this in the past, ever).
So I send a message back to the vendor saying "yea sure, go ahead and send to PO box". I never got a response so I asked them to confirm that package was actually send. However, their profile shows that they haven't logged in since the 3rd of Sep (over a week ago).
All that being said, my ultimate question is this: If I never hear back from this vendor and don't receive my goods, should I dispute BEFORE letting the transaction "auto finalize". Seems to me that if I didn't dispute anything before it finalized then I'd lose my claim to do so. Am I correct in thinking that ?
Thanks as always, this community is great (with the occasional dick or cunt thrown in to keep things lively ! lol)
Yeah this sounds like someone's encounter with cosmic_conciousness who is a known scammer.
It's pretty easy...dispute or give the scammer your money. No reason why a domestic order should even take that long.
If the vendor admittedly never shipped you get a refund. Just like Walmart except no retard/geriatric greeting you at the entrance with its sad attempt at saying hello
