I am pasting this from my original post on the Agora Forum's (http://lacbzxobeprssrfx.onion/index.php/topic,11931.15.html) as even though I feel this info is a competitive advantage of mine, the information should be more wide-spread....
thanks for the time it took to do such a detailed review l0verboy! to show my appreciation I am going to share a small tip that does not seem to be widely-known knowledge....
You mentioned "if the package were to be opened they would obviously know it is drugs", and I completely agree with you. Here is why that does not concern me (as much)....
First Class Mail is the ONLY MAIL protected by the constitution. It CAN NOT be opened unless they have an actual search warrant to open the package.
Let that sink in, and obviously do your own research to verify what I've found to be true. So when I am packaging I judge the quality of my work by the smellproofing and also how it feels in my (gloved)hand, even the feel I don't think would be enough to get a warrant, but you know those fuckers, if they get a suspicion they'll run the fucking package over with a tractor and say "ooops looks like this one broke open". now would that stand up in court with tractor marks on the package? i highly doubt it, but again who knows.
They break the law to "defend the law", which is fucked, force us to play in there fucked up "cops & robbers" game and live under the policies of a fucked up system.
anyways, im going to stop myself as ill type on the shit forever, the point is I take my work very seriously, I research my shipping methods and related laws and always try to stay one step ahead of the man.
im not trying to say my methods are perfect, and im always open to suggestions and new data, my opinion is just that, my opinion.... and shit how many times do we change our own opinions? The important thing for me is keeping my eyes/ears open and being able to accept new information as a learning opportunity. Some things I read fly in the face of shit I believe, but instead of reacting and posting some flame, I analyze and check to see if my beliefs are accurate, or how I can utilize the new information and give my opinions/beliefs a "system upgrade"
getting off topic here.....
back to the main point, vendors like priority/express shipping as they get the funds quicker, buyers like faster shipping because they get there shit faster, but when you consider that the constitution protects your mail ONLY if it is mailed first class, the choice to ship first class was an easy one for me.
First Class Mail including Priority Mail and Express mail are sealed against Postal Inspection. Warrants are near impossible to get. The Postal Inspectors usually monitor delivery and give the person time to open it on their own before making entry on the suspect.
Other classes are NOT sealed against Postal inspection and may be opened to check that the contents are eligible for the rate being paid. Much like the case of Media Mail.
Your use of the class of mail is your consent to the possible inspection.
