Winter weather affecting product on delivery?

I'm one of the unfortunate members of this subreddit who aren't geographically gifted, so freezing temperatures are beginning in my city. I'm curious as to what effect this will have on the condition of products upon delivery though since I'm sure USPS sorting facilities aren't heated.

For example, if I order an ounce of bud and it has to travel through other states that freeze before arriving to my state that also freezes, will the cold temperatures affect say, the cure job of the flowers? I know it won't get freezer burn because of the vac sealing, but after receiving my last order of True OG from OGBryan and noticing it being much drier than usual, I can't help but relate this to the recent freeze across the country and in my area. Could these temperatures have an effect on any other products such as LSD who typically don't get vacuum sealing?

Anyone have any insight to this theory or share a similar wonder?

Its possible if the vendor sent some improperly dried nugs. Even a slight amount of moisture will freeze, then when it warms up again there will be more moisture than what you started with. I would suggest drying it when it arrives just for a day or so. Check for signs of mold when it arrives too.

you should be fine. and in my experience, tossing a bud in the freezer for a little while actually makes it more potent (don't ask me why or how, that's just what i've observed). as for lsd, colder temperatures are actually preferred because exposure to heat and light can degrade the lsd molecule. in fact, the best place to store your L is in the freezer sealed in a tupperware container.
