What process do you use to 'verify' a vendor?

By this I mean, how do you figure out the person you want to buy from isn't LE/scammer? Obviously there is no real way to tell but I'm just interested in what steps you take to feel comfortable enough to order.

My main interest is Agora reviews. How easy are they to fake? When I was browsing earlier, I could only see a load of reviews from anon and the numbers to the right of their name (I assume orders) were generally quite low. Very few said more than plus five. Also, the vendor had a score which was not quite 5/5... is there a way to view the negative views?

Besides this is searching their name on reddit and the respective market forums sufficient?

Thanks

Check out the All Markets Vendor Directory http://directory4iisquf.onion

Here is my history for example: http://directory4iisquf.onion/key/3a86913a

Your best bet it to make sure you are working with a reputable vendor. You can back yourself up though by remaining in escrow if dealing on a marketplace, but then you are having to also trust the market owners.

On-site reviews are mostly useless (but do check for any immediate red flags). try to read up on the relevant market forums, Reddit and The Hub (http://thehub7dnl5nmcz5.onion) and use your head and your guts. Have they just announced a huge sale and started requiring FE? Exit scam. Do they write long winded tirades arguing with everyone that says something wrong about them on Reddit? Probably assholes and/or getting high off their own meth supply. Shitty grammar and spelling? Doesn't mean anything but still puts me off as unprofessional. And so on.

just talk to them, u can tell who they are by how they respond

It really dpeends what you're planning on ordering. If you want bulk from a particular vendor, message them first letting them know your intentions. Once you've messaged them and they respond, buy a small order (If you want a LB of something, get an ounce to try). Once you have the small order, you will be able to see the vendor stealth and make sure the vendor's product is good. You may then compare your experience with the experiences of others listed in the forums/feedback and make an educated decision whether or not this is a vendor worth using.
