Something to consider RE: LSD test results?

There's a pretty recent high-profile post on this sub about how some big names are underdosing their tabs.

However, I've been doing some research and a lot of sources state that depending on exposure to air and ambient temperature, LSD degrades over time.

Is it possible that conditions during shipping may be affecting the net amount of LSD per tab?

DISCLAIMER: not a chemist, just curious.

yeah thats negligible values. As in its so small and minute that it can be ignored. THere is no possible way you could fuck a tab up enough to decrease the dosage by HALF. Advertised as 150 but tested to be 70ug. It would take several thousand years of exposure to decrease the potency by that much.

Normally we tend to stay away from subreddit controversy because it seems that most of the time the end result is a lose-lose scenario, but these tests seem a bit outlandish to ignore. Are we saying that the information provided is fabricated or inaccurate? Absolutely not. But we have to question these types of results when we absolutely know for a fact that we are laying our tabs as advertised to the best of our knowledge. I'll explain a bit more below.

It is nice to see people question the validity of these results. To be fair, degradation of the magnitude stated would definitely not be due to exposure or handling.

The unfortunate part about this scenario is that there are factors that would easily help show that we are being honest in how we conduct business, but in order to preserve opsec we cannot divulge these details.

However, basic questions should be asked for good reason. There's no reason to lie to our customers and we haven't been around this long by doing so.

We'll be organizing an effort shortly to have multiple tests performed by ourselves and third parties using a variety of lab testing methods if possible.

It would also be very much appreciated if the person with the results to these tests contact us with the qualitative or quantitative analysis of the GC/MS. There would be identifiable information in those reports that would show the tabs were ours based on the suspension method we use.

My only problem with these tests are that only single tabs are being tested as far as I can tell. While the results for that single tab could be accurate, it's not scientifically sound. Multiple tabs should be tested to prove consistency in results. Analytical error cannot be determined by doing a single test. It's not right to say a vendor is selling underdosed product unless a few doses, peferably obtained from separate parts of the sheet, are being analyzed.

I'm no chemist either, but yeah it's not as unstable as people make it out to be. I've heard that if you leave your tabs in your car on a hot day you can fuck them up, but I'm not willing to try it.

I always think the degredation is way overblown. I mean think about it: from the time the acid is made until it is in your hands it's been weeks, where you had no control over it and then people go storing it in the freezer with vitamin c pills in the box and what not, it's laughable.

BUt yeah, I don't think it will have that much of an effect, few ug sure, but not half the dose.

doubtful.

I wrote something about this a couple months ago, here. I tried covering all possible losses, including a little about degradation.
