Vendor marked shipped then messaged me he had no product???

So I made an order on AB and had $50 left over and decided to make a few secondary orders. One vendor marked my order as shipped then I proceeded to message him/her and ask if there was anything to know about these "_____" that I needed to know so "__" messaged me back saying nothing out of the ordinary but no stock for a week. I asked "_" what they meant by that and they responded that they have no stock until next Monday. I'm pissed, my order is marked shipped when they obviously are aware they have no product. That is not cool. I told them I'm taking it to AB support but will give them the chance to respond and explain first. Am I wrong or are they wrong?

No name and shame in case they rectify the situation.

UPDATE!!: Vendor claims that they didn't realize I was someone who ordered already. Said if they marked it shipped then it was sent when they had stock, he just thought I was someone inquiring after he ran out. I'll give it time to come in now (up to 15-17 days). If it comes in I'll admit my over reaction and delete this thread. If it doesn't I'm gonna call him out on it publicly.

I personally don't care if a vendor marks shipped and it goes out 24-48 hours later because I'm never ordering anything of any consequence, I could see if I had spent a metric butt load on something, but I usually just grab a few things that are legal in my area any way.

I know a lot of vendors do it for ease of use or OpSec, but this guy is out of line for sure. anything past the 2 day mark(which is a stretch in a lot of people's minds) is bull poo.

Did they respond? If not, and if a reasonable amount of time has passed, I'd name them. Your call though.

This happens occasionally to the Grand Wizard: we mark an order shipped after we print out the label and prep our packs. Sometimes we realize (a) we grabbed the wrong product and (b) we're out of the product our buyer ordered. (The joys of accounting across multiple markets and all that... ).

Generally we've found that a polite and apologetic note, along with something extra in the order when the product arrives, does the trick. We also offer a full refund and some people go for that: at the Grand Wizard's Lair we try to keep customers satisfied and we've found most can be satisfied with just a little bit of effort.

This is horrible. Vendors that mark shipped and take days suck but it's a whole other ballgame when they don't even have the fucking products on hand. Get your money back. Who is this vendor?
