I bought something on TR for the first time, Is it possible for the address you give the vendor at the end, to be completely different?

So I had to put something into dispute cause my item hasn't come, and its been a week. I asked the guy earlier what the status of my stuff was and he just wasn't responding. The recent Discussion on him is mostly the same as my experience.

On the dispute page he claims he did send it to me and puts up a tracking number, ( why didn't he just do this earlier, I asked way past the time the package shouldve came). The address and state it was sent to wasn't even close to my address, isn't close phonetically or spelling wise.

I use gallium via chrx and then use Tor , Is it possible for my address to be changed because of that? I wanna give the guy the benefit of the doubt but it just seems like he's buying as much time as he can cause he couldn't cover all his orders.

No he sent you a bogus tracking number or he got co fused and sent your order to the wrong place. But mostly just scam.

Idn how a pgp message could be distorted into another address he prollie fucked it up Exp if it was bar order . Talk to the vendor see if he will resend the order . Then dispute don't just jump on the gun.

get yourself tails when you already use a chromebook.

if you ask this because of LE, the answer most likely is NO! but yeah, this os can get compromised, just like most available linux distributions.

this sounds more like the vendor tries to scam you. this story already happened hundreds of times.

r/DarknetMarketNoobs is where you should head.

But jeeezus man you are absolutely the worst kind of buyer. Disputing after only a week is totally unnecessary and kind of a dick move. As is blagging him for tracking info. Giving that out can be a big risk for vendors. It is unprofessional for him to not respond but my guess is you're being bothersome and big vendors just don't want to deal with that oftentimes.

I don't understand your question either, what you typed and encrypted via pgp and sent won't be changed based on how you accessed the market. Give it another week, shit happens with USPS. Politely point out the tracking shows a different state, maybe he sent the wrong tracking number. You could be getting played but disputing so soon isn't going to make you look good to the dispute mod. And have some patience, buying online is a waiting game. That's why this sub is full of people killing time waiting on their packs.

The vendor is probably just trying to fuck you over by giving you a fake tracking trying to win a dispute. The TR moderators usually aren't idiots and handle the disputes correctly. Good luck mate.
