PGP when sending address

Definitely check out the sub that /u/DevilInANewDress69 pointed out. Make sure that you're using PGP for all communications to vendor via marketplace. Also, not sure what your btc situation is, but you should definitely use a tumbler to xfer from btc source -> market. I personally prefer Grams Helix.

In the future, it may behoove you to consider burning a TAILS live-boot cd or USB. This helps insure your local machine is not compromised.

If someone told you you will be ok using tor and not buying large quantities then it must be true. trust them with your freedom. its only prudent.

personally i use tor + vpn + tumble. tails is key if your computer is confiscated and they are going to be gong through it though

the most important of basic opsec is TOR (how else cna you access onion anyway? and pgp'ing your address.

If you dont use pgp for your address thats pretty mcuh the dumbest most unsafe thing someone can do.

For me I wanted a vpn just for torrenting so as to avoid those dcma notices...and its cheap and easy to use, so i use it for everything

That's what I did on my first purchase. Then I bought a USB with TAILS on it from a trusted vendor on a DNM. He explained how to configure it, use it, how to setup PGP, and online safety practices way better then any guide I've seen online. Was a big help considering I was and still am a huge noob when it comes to computers.
