The FBI is able to unlock or access data on most of the phones and computers it encounters...

That iPhone app you linked is $0.99, doesn't have any reviews, and promises multi level encryption...

That is insanely fake and dangerous

Don't do anything on your phone (including searches) that you wouldn't do in front of a police officer.

You can wait until you get home and use tor w/ tails to look up how long cocaine shows up in a drug test.

This shouldn't be a surprise OR alarming. There shouldn't be anything incriminating on any device that isn't full disc encrypted to begin with. and personally I don't trust the full disc encryption that comes on new andriods for this reason:

I did notice that there is an upper limit on password length on android. I think it's like 15 or 16 characters. This always made me suspicious, it's almost as if they need to be able to brute force it in less than a day using their supercomputer, in a worst case scenario. I read somewhere that using their supercomputer they can brute force a 16 character pass in a day. It can't be coincidence.

What about Apple products? Wasn't there a big controversy about that a while back?

What if it's a Windows based PHONE?

Hey Rip thanks for the post bud. Candidly, I have two Reddit accounts. I have two of everything really.

I have accounts that I only use with TAILS - USB running bridges. This is where I do whatever it is I need to do (basically a lot of shitty attempts at trolling you guys).

As for encrypting the phone. I just don't do anything on the phone. I don't even have a Facebook, IG or snapchat.

(I have Spotify because I enjoy music)

HOWEVER, I do run a VPN on my iPhone and on my computer (when I am on clearnet only). It's not the NSAs business what I do...I'm trying to make it a bit harder for them to find out. I'm aware that bridges is superior which is why I censor my usage on my phone/computer on clearnet with VPN.

[1 Points] dabbingtimes:

this is a given run tails on something you can easily destroy, always hide that shit when recieving packs, never talk to other about the dark web

[1 Points] drugsnboobs:

Better idea: use TAILS if you don't know what you're doing, or an encrypted filesystem/encrypted boot sector (with an OS other than Mac/Windows) if you do.

[1 Points] trappy_AB:

The feds can tap the undersea cables, you think they cannot crack you phone or your closed source police written "encrypted" messaging apps?

[1 Points] Dnmbuttshit:

How can I unlock my own phone and delete the history?

[1 Points] neutral_cadence:

Run tails from an SD card, spoof your mac address, use a free wifi location such as Starbucks. You can physically break the card if need be, you now have plausible deniability.

[1 Points] RosesGawd:

Is this supposed to be a surprise or something?

[1 Points] StrangDck:

You know one plus has a full device encryption that the FBI can't beat since it boots first and you have to decrypt the boot loader before it becomes operational...

[REDACTED]

Am I the only one who has like 100 phones?

Even if they took my "phone" they'd never find the other 99.

[1 Points] Throwawaymaybe213:

Just use a 5s or later better security. They only got into the other phone because it was a 5c
