It's like MONERO, it's the future, but nobody gives a shit, because they're too dumb to see the light.

OpenBazaar 2 will be a marketplace that will be able to sell nuclear fissible material and nobody will be able to do anything about it, that's how "future" this shit is.

idk.

tbqh security-wise I wouldn't trust it yet without some research, I checked it expecting to find a lot of drugs and found a really good looking store from my country (Portugal) selling honey.

I was really tempted to order some.

The UI is really good tho.

Give it 2 years and it will be the best place to go to for all your favorite illegal things. Once they sort out 3rd party decentralized storage hosting so that vendors can put up shops in the cloud without self hosting then it will blow up the internet. But needs serious security testing first.

By then we will have TumbleBit and LN so there will be plenty of privacy options for BTC transactions too!

It needs to be vetted some more to be fully trusted and needs tor intergration.

[2 Points] throwahooawayyfoe:

The concept is a good one and with the integration of TOR support in OB2.0, I think it's headed in the right direction for mass adoption. However, the technology is still new and relatively untested. Security is still a bit of an unknown with OpenBazaar and until it has been fully vetted and approved by a number of experts in the field, the best thing to do would probably be to stick to selling fuzzy alpaca socks and bitcoin logo keychains.

[2 Points] Polygon_Windows:

It looks really good on the outside but a few issues, 1) no admin means theres nothing stopping lots of scammers from opening shop. 2) no admin means random third parties are used to facilitate deals 3)vendors probably dont want to host their own shops

list some cannabis stores so buyers can try it out

Nice to see all those answers!

Thats a interessting talk about the multisig in openbazaar: https://blog.openbazaar.org/how-moderators-and-dispute-resolution-work-in-openbazaar/

@Polygon_Windows: you are right with the point vendors dont want to host, but if i look at youtube there many tutorials for that and it takes like 30min to this. So this should it be worth for selling on an secure decentralized Market or?

[1 Points] cheapcab:

It's it what we need exactly and will never be adopted. Another solution will come up and be more viable than OB.

It and those like it are the future.
