So, we all know there are a ton of other markets out there while our favorite Agora is down. But do we as a collective have an idea of the security behind any of these markets? IE this SVG "exploit" affect DHL, seems pretty severe and judging by the majority of the posts in that thread, outlining the problems with SVG, anyone attempting to even run a DNM should have been aware of. I'm not shitting on DHL by any means as i have never used it, but how can we be sure our comms / identities are safe on any of the DNM's? I know agora took its security seriously and clearly was in it for the long haul, but what about these other sites, how are they so much more secure and not as "fearful" of potentially deanonymizing their own servers / users?
As it seems to me, it doesn't really matter all that much if you're a personal to medium weight BUYER and you use PGP for your personal information AT LEAST, and don't use unique names and such that could link one account to another, reasonably.
LE isn't going to waste time and resources to try to decrypt your pgp message when you're ordering personal use amounts. They want headline generating captures so they can get more funding. Not to show the world they took down a guy who uses the internet to buy his 1/8th ounce bag of weed once a week because he doesn't want to deal with dealers in person. It doesn't really for their MO.
