we could use some rule/general changes

OK idk about the rest of you but i am getting so fucking tired of the "is _____ down??" threads. FUCKING CHECK DNSTATS IT TAKES 3 FUCKING SECONDS WHY THE FUCK DO YOU WANT US TO GOOGLE IT FOR YOU IF YOU ARE THAT INCOMPETENT GTFO DNMS. they should be removed, they are spam in my opinion. complete waste of time. there are multiple sites that will tell you that 100 times faster than asking here.

second, threads asking "ARE DNMS SAFE?????" and "ARE DNMS SCAMS???" should be removed. yes, all 40k of us are posting from a jail cell. like wtf?

third, no one gives a FUCK about your BV, grandpajoe, gammagoblin, cannaxpress reviews. Unless you are bringing QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS, or excellent pictures, making a review for a level 5 vendor saying "everything went smooth and good product and comms" is a waste of time and space. Only post it if something went out of the ordinary. PLEASE POST VENDORS THAT ARENT REVIEWED EVERY FUCKING DAY. also, is this fucking ign where the scale is pretty much 0-9 = dont use and 10 is the only thing to give a vendor thats product arrived? why the hell do i see reviews that say "product could have been better, 10/10"???? even 2 mylar bags isnt 5/5 stealth. thats 4/5, average at best and is what should be expected. even if it is in a dvd case it should be 4/5, thats average. 5/5, 10/10 this is for something above and beyond. getting your pack in 4 days with no comm needed and decent product isnt 10/10, thats average and is what should happen every time. i know youre all fucked up on whatever drug you got and are all happy and giddy but seriously. giving these sort of numbers out makes it completely useless the way people are using them.

fourth, SAY THE VENDORS DAMN NAME WHEN YOU ARE HAVING A PROBLEM. too many threads are like "vendor is being a douche" or "vendor is taking forever" say the damn name and let us know. youre completely useless otherwise. why the hell would you keep it a shitty vendor a secret.

The thing is if big vendors aren't reviewed regularly then we're gonna have posts saying "is BV still legit?" I agree that reviewing level 5 vendors can be superfluous but it's still helpful to keep reviews for new products and large amounts relevant rather than never seeing a big vendor reviewed on here again. If you think it's superfluous then down vote it, but I think reviews should stay up to date.

I got a fake ID a few years back from some company in China. Sent my money and 3 weeks later got a ladies wallet in the mail. They built a fucking wallet around this ID. I had to take box cutter and rip this thing apart to find it. It wasn't inside a pocket or in the ID slot of the wallet. That's a 10/10 stealth in my book.

I agree for the most part. I had an issue with something I ordered and mentioned it in comments here and on other subreddits. People were telling me to out the vendor when I was still in the process of getting it sorted. I'm all for outing shitty vendors, but please make sure you tried contacting them first and don't spread FUD.

And yeah with the reviews. Not being able to find your product in the package is 10/10 stealth. Two day shipping is 10/10. 3.5g of GSC for $30 is 10/10 price. Vendor replying to messages within 10 minutes each time, always PGP, keeping you updated on mistakes is 10/10 comms. Stop being so fucking generous with scores, you aren't helping anyone.

Most are caught by automod. We have had a major decrease in these posts too, compared to the past of this subreddit. It's way less of an issue then it once was.

threads asking "ARE DNMS SAFE?????" and "ARE DNMS SCAMS???" should be removed.

these occur once a day. Downvote them if you like, but they don't harm much. Yes they may irritate you a bit, but that's about it.

unfortunately, this is apart of reviews on the internet, especially the darknet. There is no real way to change this behavior.

I concure completely, but there is no real way to enforce this all the time, that I can think of...

Calm down. No one is forcing you to read this sub. You don't like it then leave... or create your own sub to live your own perfect world in.

If something occurred out of the ordinary this place would be filled with nothing but negative reviews and thus be useless.

Some people have different standards than you apparently... sorry the general population isn't up to your incredibly demanding standards.

Actually, even though these reviews may be redundant, I think they are useful if at least to see if a vendor is still legit (or as much as you can verify at least on the interwebs). If all you see are great reviews that are 3 months old, you can't be certain the vendor is still going strong. I do agree that some reviews do lack quality BUT even those can still be useful just to see that people are ordering. Unfortunately humans are shitty are quantitatively expressing things. There is a bias, no matter what. You'd expect, via the law of averages, that we should see a bell curve distribution of rankings (although one would hope we'd have a positively skewed curve since we should have decent expectations, but a bell curve nonetheless). I bet we actually see an upside down bell curve - a shitload of reviews that are 0's and 1's (shitty vendors) and a shitload of 9 and 10's and barely anything in the middle. Again, people suck at qualitatively assigning a rank. You see this with employee reviews all the time and just about anything. Humans are better are comparative analysis - ranking things against one another. Its easier to say Vendor X is better than Vendor Y than to say Vendor X's score is N. There are other factors at play as well, namely we have a feedback loop of grade inflation. B/c there are a shitload of 9/10 reviews, nobody wants to give a solid vendor a 7 or 8 which may be more representative. Unless the grades are curved, I don't see this changing and I don't see any way to curve.

As a result, my reviews use the did not meet, met, and exceeded expectations criteria. I think its easier to qualify things in this manner. And its "softer", a solid vendor should be getting "met expectations" yet it doesn't sound as shitty as assigning an average number (say a 7).

fourth, SAY THE VENDORS DAMN NAME WHEN YOU ARE HAVING A PROBLEM.

Depends. I can understand not wanting to jump the gun prematurely. Its not fair ot the vendor if the vendor is legit and the OP is being impatient. I'll agree that if someone is bitching and already calling out a vendor as a scammer, then they should name the vendor. However, if there post is more advice-centric, I think its fine to leave off the vendor's name since hte point of hte post isn't to bitch abou the vendor but to get help/advice.

FUCKING CHECK DNSTATS

Yeah I agree. I don't know why people don't do this b/c its already in the sidebar. Markets go down. That's the game. Its not amazon w/ 99.9999999999% uptime and never will be. I don't know the answer to this, maybe it is to delete these posts. Personally, these don't bother me as I just ignore them BUT they are all over the place.

We do remove them, but they are posted ... a lot. The grand majority of them are taken out but some just slip through.

second, threads asking "ARE DNMS SAFE?????" and "ARE DNMS SCAMS???" should be removed. yes, all 40k of us are posting from a jail cell. like wtf?

I disagree. That is a question that every noob should be asking themselves. We don't see that question too often so I think its okay to have that discussion occasionally. You can always ignore it, downvote it, or hide it.

third, no one gives a FUCK about your BV, grandpajoe, gammagoblin, cannaxpress reviews. Unless you are bringing QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS, or excellent pictures, making a review for a level 5 vendor saying "everything went smooth and good product and comms" is a waste of time and space.

I disagree. We should want as much info as possible to be posted about transactions with these vendors. I agree that a lot of reviews are pretty ... skewed, but I don't think they should be removed. You are of course free to downvote anything you want, if enough people agree with you then those posts will be taken off the frontpage just through Reddit's voting system.

fourth, SAY THE VENDORS DAMN NAME WHEN YOU ARE HAVING A PROBLEM. too many threads are like "vendor is being a douche" or "vendor is taking forever" say the damn name and let us know. youre completely useless otherwise. why the hell would you keep it a shitty vendor a secret.

Yup. Pretty much. I can understand the hesitation if you are being blackmailed or something, but not giving us the vendor's name is a pretty shitty thing to do.

With a subreddit this size, and growing, we're not always going to agree on everything. The best advice I can give anyone that is upset about certain posts here, is to downvote and move on. Voting allows you to circumvent the modteam and police the subreddit yourselves.
