I've deliberately never placed an international order. Now I may have gotten in a lot of trouble because a vendor lied.
A few weeks ago I placed an order for a small amount of pills. The quantity is less than what a one month supply of what this Rx would be legally. I ordered from a vendor I've never worked with before, but he had a 5/5 rating and shipped from my home country. I should not have taken that risk but I did.
The order is now 3 weeks late. 1 week ago I saw new reviews saying the vendor had shipped internationally with no stealth on "domestic" orders. I am terrified. According to what I've read a CD is unlikely for an order like this but I am very scared. The vendor admitted, after several messages of brushing me off, that "his supplier" had sent the order from another country.
The vendor has not logged in for several days now and I fear the worst. I've cleaned house completely. If there's a knock on my door, I will not consent to any searches without a warrant.
What do I do now? I know I made a big mistake and I know I'll probably pay for it. How do I protect myself as much as possible?
Calm down, yes they could try to do a CD but it's highly unlikely that would happen for a small amount of Rx pills (I've never heard of an international CD for anything less than orders in the hundreds-thousands of pills). You will probably get a love letter in a month or two, but it's possible they could still come or the vendor pulled a fast one and started scamming. It sounds like you've already took the necessary precautions if the worst were to happen, so chill out and consider the address burned. Nothing else can be done at this point so there's no sense in going crazy with paranoia over it.
