So everyone is aware, I practice writing fiction stories and any references in first person are from my character's viewpoint.
So, I ordered a special package from germany which is being sent by my good friend from space, Mr.Jupiter, (quite an interesting name, isn't it?) and selected to have it tracked. I have recently been made aware that in by selecting tracking, this special package will require a signature upon delivery.
I am feeling paranoid as this is my first package from over the great seas, and also the first to require my presence during delivery.
If this special package is caught in transit and delivered by my enemy, tricking me to sign on his decoy package, do I still hold a decent defense? Can I not claim a normal citizen like I would sign for any package as they forgot they may have bought something weeks ago and forgot?
Thank you for the insight.

I would suspect just sign and take your shit..mail carriers vary...one asks for a signature and another wont..the whole deny and run from the door looks weird..ya know?
It's always debated, the sign or not sign, and honestly in the years I have read, there is not a real right answer.
