Is it okay for me to point out that op finally delivers?

[39 Points] Jay-__:

Would you deliver something to a really abandoned-looking house, no matter what? Or would you think it may be addressed wrong and get it sent back?

Not that I'd use or even encourage such a (bad) setup as a drop, but it seems a few people actually really do that, judging from what I've read.

[37 Points] LongLiveThe_King:

OP has provided proof of being legit.

Sorry I couldn't chime in on your announcement earlier.

[36 Points] chasmnaut:

Do you ever stockpile Victoria secrets catalogs for late morning meth fueled vigorous jerk off sessions? If so what kind of lube do you use?

[24 Points] chasmnaut:

If stealth is decent on pot and no smell is detected what will are the odds of the package being x-rayed? Is it safer to pick two day shipping? What percentage of packages are x-rayed? Basically what are the red flags on packages that eventually are found to contain pot?

[23 Points] someone-who-is-me:

Can you get me a phone number for the substitute carrier that was delivering on my route around Christmas? She's really fucking hot!

[21 Points] CuntyMcGiggles:

Hiya and thanks for doing this! Very cool!

If I move into a place that still receives mail for the previous two tenants, is there a risk in me using their name to receive DNM packages? Thanks!

[23 Points] 6FatDutchmen:

How often should a rural carrier be thanked or gifted (within USPS regulations for accepting gifts from non-business) to ensure "friendliness" while also not over-doing it and raising normal human suspicion?

[20 Points] None:

I hear alot of dnm users complain about their packages looking like they were sliced with a knife to possibly peek inside. Or that there was strange tape or writting on their package that made them worry. Is it possible that they have been purposely cut open or marked? Or is it likely just from the handling process?

[16 Points] None:

What's the weirdest thing that has happened to you while working for USPS?

[14 Points] None:

How often are packages "roughed up" so much that it would compromise stealth on a DNM order of a small-med (roughly 1/2-1 oz) amount of smoke, brownies, ect? We hear this can happen but sometimes I feel like without a knife or something my weed is childproofed in that box. lol

[14 Points] None:

Has the security been upped at all since Onymous?

[12 Points] None:

Would it be safer to ship out envelopes with a Bank letterhead or lawfirm or something? It seems like a pretty decent idea. I would think a legit well known business is a good way to ship out small amounts without arising suspicion, of course, I am saying like LSD or very finely crushed MDMA. Not weed, I've actually had a vendor send me a package that was in a envelope. It was an eighth of some bud. You could actually feel the buds inside the envelope and could tell what it was. But I would like to know if it is possible, and safer, to ship out products with legit well known businesses with good letterheads that are exactly alike. Maybe even use a Law Firm(to ship out products more stealthy in a big envelope) covered by papers and what not resembling what a law firm would actually send. Maybe divorce papers or something haha.

[13 Points] None:

In your experience how often have you seen LE open a package or have seen K-9 unit at the USPS warehouse sniffing through packages?

[13 Points] None:

Also my next question some people think it's better off ordering a good amount of a substance (lets say a QP of bud for example) instead of making numerous small purchases (Eighth & Quarter), would you recommend making one large purchase or numerous smalls ones to avoid the most heat?

[10 Points] why_not_rmjl:

How the fuck did you get so much karma?

[13 Points] dnm_ash:

What do you recommend to deal with regular package "loss".

as in marked delivered, but not. Package randomly shows up days later. Usually delivered to a "wrong address" or just never attempted.

I've had sitdowns with my postmaster(s). They are aware. A few times it's been they guy scanned the whole truck and didn't deliver. Sometimes it's something else, delivered to wrong address etc.

We know when attempts are made, as it's to an airport and under surveillance 24/7.

[11 Points] hangbellybroad:

So, if I would get a PO box using my real identity and designate 2 or 3 other names to have access to the box, then use one of those names to receive dnm orders, would that be breaking any federal or USPS laws? (Of course I would be breaking laws, but I mean only with regard to using a name that is not my own). And, if I get a package that requires a signature, should I sign with the alternate name that is on the package (for which I would have no ID, if asked) or my real name? Any laws or rules to fuck with me there (again only regarding the use of a name not my own)? Do you have any suggestions or advice to help for a fuckery-free experience in this situation? Not using my real name, that is, with a PO box registered to my real name, esp. when signing for illegal goods.

Many thanks in advance.

I receive approx 2 express envelopes a week, from the same city but always different return addys on them. Would you notice something like this as a carrier and deem it suspicious?

[9 Points] goodluckbrah:

Is it true that if you actually want your package handled well you mark it as "glass" and not "handle with care"? Does marking it as such raise suspicion?(assuming it's not like, an envolope but an actual box).

[9 Points] Burnahillbillydelux:

If your address got flagged by your local PO a year ago, how do they go about checking your packages?

[10 Points] None:

[9 Points] None:

Do you think the DNM community make USPS sounds worst then it really is? It sounds like it's a little laid back

[7 Points] None:

Have you ever stolen a parcel just for fun?

[7 Points] None:

Is there a certain kind of packaging that is considered sketchier than others? (ie. bubble wrap vs. envelopes, etc.)

And are return addresses really thoroughly inspected? and if one were to use a residential return address with a random name would it be flagged? What is your best recommendation for return addresses (like should they be business if so what kind of business small or big business or residential)? Also if the return address was from an online homemade marketplace like etsy is it ok to just put the etsy username as the return address name?

[8 Points] Big_Daddy_Trucknutz:

Is there a way for me to request that my PO box package deliveries are placed in the larger lockers with the key that stays in the lock? It seems hit or miss whether they leave a key in my box or a slip and the key is a lot better for my purposes.

[7 Points] pinkpanther227:

There was a guy here earlier today from UPS who said the loaders have to process 1000 parcels an hour. Does the USPS have a similar requirement?

[6 Points] None:

I'm a huge edibles fan. How likely if for some reason my package was exposed/opened and all it contained was a small amount of hard candy or something- would the inspection go any further?

[5 Points] None:

Do USPS ever make more than one deliveries a day? Like drop off mail in the morning and then again later on in the day?

[6 Points] None:

What's your drug of choice?

[6 Points] throwaway56135:

How much extra scrutiny do international packages get?

[5 Points] None:

What's your opinion of using "c/o" to put a fake name on a package, while still having a resident's name on the package? I'm not suggesting sending packages to unsuspecting people's homes. Rather I'm wondering whether that would be a good way to "tag" DNM packages so you know for sure what's what. E.g. if the mail person says, "Package for Bailey Jay c/o Bob Smith, sign here," you know beforehand that it's definitely DNM.

[4 Points] Viceboy:

Do you guys get annoyed/suspicious if multiple packages are coming in that are too big to fit in the PO Box? Would it be worth it to just upgrade to Size 3?

[4 Points] shampoodude22:

If a box tears open and you see something duck taped, would this allow them to open it up?

[4 Points] Illuzzi0nz:

Are the tracking labels you order online tied to the name and address they were order under/to?

[4 Points] None:

[4 Points] None:

how feasible is it to mail a pound of weed? do people really get away with this?. I imagine they either split the order up and mail it in boxes with good stealth.

[4 Points] anvilcountry:

Is it best to keep the parcel under 13 oz? And to use stamps so the item can be just dropped in the mail?

[3 Points] don_crackavelli:

Why is priority mail so slow lately? I ordered 2 separate items that were shipped on 1/06. One was shipped via USPS first class and the other was shipped priority. The first class shipment arrived yesterday and the priority one isnt even here yet.

[4 Points] TheSandmanECW:

I have to send a graphics card back to the manufacturer. How much is insurance to cover something as valuable as $300? Card is about 1/2 lb and its going about 80 miles away.

[3 Points] WhereIsMyLSD:

What is your recommendation for getting shipments from Canada to the US? Should I use a house or a PO Box? Any advice is appreciated.

[3 Points] Shawdow194:

What exactly happens to you if a package being sent to you gets caught?

[3 Points] None:

My package was marked as delivered almost a week ago... what could of happened? they told me that the lady who marked it delivered will be in tomorrow... could she of any help or was my package stolen? ( I live in an apt building and they leave the mail in a big mailbox with small boxes in them, each one with a key that the owner of that box has a copy of.

[3 Points] fuckimadumbmotherfuc:

hey, just want to say thank you for being so helpful the other day.. you're awesome.

Don't know what questions to ask but glad you're doing an AMA again.

What is your favorite food? What is your favorite substance?

oh wait I know... is first class "safer" than other types of mail (priority/express). I read somewhere they need a warrant for first class mail

[3 Points] ijdoijoig:

i <3 you USPS man. Can you do a bit of risk analysis for me? One Oz. from a reputable vendor to a PO box.

Thank you!! -ijdoijoig

[3 Points] None:

how does signing for a package work?. If it's a large package delivered to your house?. I have ordered a few large packages from ebay and stuff and I never had to sign for anything, whats the deal with this? It seems random to me.

[2 Points] the_red_ninja17:

Hey There, thanks for doing this!

If i wanted a buddy of mine to ship me some "goods" from the south, how likely am i to get caught? is it safe?

[2 Points] None:

I just want to thank you for doing this sir :) its been quite informative and insightful. Thank you!

[2 Points] dtrmp4:

A buddy of mine shipped a parcel with the destination as the return address, and his address as the destination. He dropped it in with no postage at all, and it was "returned" across country. Have you ever heard of this before?

It was something like 8 years ago though, so I'm not sure if it would still work. What do you do when there's no postage or inadequate on something?

[2 Points] noonehear:

Do you enjoy the drone of the "Iron Duke" engine? I can hear it from a few miles away.

[2 Points] needarms:

Are packages containing metal sent for more thorough inspection? How likely is it for a pistol barrel or a slide to pass undetected? What actually happens if you find firearms or illegal firearm parts addressed abroad or any other places where they legally not supposed to go?

[1 Points] lousytimebomb:

Is using a PO BOX with your name and less risky or more risky than sending to your house with your real name? I just opened a POBOX and I have a couple clearnet and darknet packages heading to it. Will that seem suspicious?

[1 Points] MrHhhiiiooo:

As far as reshipping to an address in the US from another country after the first package did not arrive what would be your advice? If this is irrelevant ignore it.

[1 Points] VeganDog:

If I have a letter sent with my name to a friend's house, is there a chance it won't be delivered?

[1 Points] DickRichardson69:

In terms of receiving a package, what information is in your opinion safe to supply? Is it recommended to just use my home address when receiving any goods from a market vendor?

[1 Points] None:

Can you explain this to me?

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Private_Mail_Bag

I just learned about it and im wondering how it would work for ordering DNM stuff

[1 Points] Jesus_Frank:

How close is the US postal service to the Canadian postal service?

[1 Points] brightmoor:

I know it's the following day from when you started this but if you can she'd some light on this I'd really appreciate it.

I dropped off a Priority Express package Monday at a contract unit (USPS counter in a store) and it has not updated once other than the 'Accepted' update. It doesn't even show it getting to the local post office (although I don't think they normally do - think the first scan is normally at the local sort facility). Any idea wtf could have happened? Or why it has not updated even once?

[1 Points] RacistAssMellyGibson:

Is there a way to know you have been flagged/are being investigated?

[0 Points] hredbeard:

Can someone please tell me why everyone is asking about mailing drugs or other illegal shit? Seems like a bad idea to disclose the methods by which you send or receive your contraband.

I hope ppl are at least using throwaways and/or tor...
