PSA: do not use a PGP key that you use with your IRL

When making a PGP key, don't put your IRL name or email when it asks for such things. Just use your market username and your darknet tor based email (i use secmail, see the sidebar for other reccomendations).
Also just go ahead and use tails so you can compartmentalize your identities. So yea, don't use your IRL computer with a tor browser. At least use tails I actually see a few PGP keys a year that have IRL emails in them that reveal parts of the persons real name or the whole thing.

I was going to ask if this really needed to be said, but then I remembered that yes, sadly, it does.

There are PGP keychains that don't require you to use a real email at all when making a key. Even without Tails. "fake@as.fuck" and so on. Also, +1 for secmail. great service

Protip: When you create a new PGP key in TAILS, no email address is required. As long as there is an "@" symbol typed somewhere in the email field, it can be any random alphanumeric string you want.

Common sense. Let's the dumbasses get arrested.
