So a while ago (more than a year) I placed an order for 2 grams of bud through Agora. It was really intended as a test of the DNM system so I could get the hang of it before placing a bigger order. However, I ran into some problems. I sent the vendor my PGP encrypted mailing info, and he, amazingly, sent me the tracking number in an unencrypted message, basically rendering the PGP pointless. Within a few days, the tracking indicated that my order had come, but nothing showed up until more than a week later, when the envelope (which definitely would've typically been placed in a mailbox) showed up on my doorstep. The vendor had placed my order and associated stealth inside an envelope, which was placed in a larger USPS Express envelope. Both envelopes had been opened, though the product itself couldn't have been handled because the mylar it was in was still sealed. It really seemed like the USPS had some idea of what was in the envelope but still delivered it (I've heard of similar things happening to other people).
So I got my weed, but the whole thing spooked me enough that I've restrained from placing any more orders on DNMs since. However, I'm now interested in trying it again, and have been working on upgrading my opsec (Tails etc.). I'm posting here because I'm wondering if my history with this should be any cause for concern. Does anyone else here who has experience with this have any insight they can offer? Am I under increased scrutiny now because the USPS knows I ordered drugs in the past? I know I probably sound paranoid as hell but I guess I'm just a careful person...
TL;DR Last order I placed via DNMs arrived opened on my doorstep. More than a year later, do I have anything to worry about when ordering, beyond what any other DNM user would deal with?
I don't think it's necessarily true USPS knows. They wouldn't have delievered drugs. Plain and a simple. Why would they? What sounds like happened is a misdelievery and someone opened it and stopped when they got to the stealth.
