Nice surprise !!!!!!! :)

I just installed Multibit wallet - long time not used by me 'cause i preferred blockchain web based. For security reasons, I decided to switch back to Multibit , installed, imported keys and......... WTF ?? i got 3.8691 BTC :) I did not expect i got any coins over there. Actually i am surprised because i really don't remember how those show up in my wallet :) Just checked blockchains transaction and still don't know :) I have many receiving addresses related to wallet and never bought more than 1BTC at once. Anyway - going to check some listings :) Cheers guys :)

what made you chose Multibit over Electrum? Just wondering because I'm looking to make myself an offline wallet

Multibit client is the best PC-based wallet. When you say "over there" its not a web wallet. Its on your computer.

If you uninstall it, it still leaves backups of wallets all over your computer. If you install it again it looks in all these places for old wallets and nearly always finds them. it has to go on your clearnet computer because it uses java.

But yes, that IS a nice surprise.

The worst wallet by far is electrum.

The wallets on android phones are fucking fantastic because of the QR reader.

If you buy an iphone you can't have bitcoin wallets because Apple know what is best for you. And that thing is "i-pay". As in "I pay to buy a phone, but Apple act like I am borrowing it off them, they might let me use it if I'm a good boy".
