So I decided to try ordering from GoingPostal, from Canada to the US. The order was placed on 9/3 and shipped on 9/5 with tracking. 9/15 rolls around and I haven't seen anything, which seems like a longer than usual time to get mail from Canada.
GoingPostal quickly provided me with the tracking number (and handy 3rd party tracking site) which tells me the pack got routed down to California in a day, and then over to the far north side of Michigan (almost touching Canada) the next day. It hasn't moved since 9/7 and the tracking number is now considered expired since it hasn't been updated in over 10 days.
Oddly enough, both locations show "National Forest" in the destination. Anybody else have an experience similar to this? GoingPostal is telling me to just wait some more.
GoingPostal is a known selective scammer
Back when he was on BMR he was one of my first purchases. He asked me to FE on a quarter of MDMA, so I did. After about 10 days I messaged him, and he never responded. When I left a negative review he messaged me telling me it hadn't been sent, but that he would ship it with extra. Of course this was a lie, and in the end I had nothing to show for the 200something dollars I spent.
As far as doors being kicked in, that seems fairly unlikely. Usually if the feds want to attempt a controlled delivery, they try to keep the package moving as smoothly as possible. They know that someone knocking at your door asking you to sign for a package that has been mysteriously sitting for 10 days will sketch you out. And if they wanted to attempt a CD, it probably wouldn't take them 16 days to set it up. You're not Pablo Escobar
