package seized, need more info on opening a PO box.

S.W.I.M ordered a package off a DNM and after 2 weeks passing and no package, so he reached out to the vendor. Vendor provided tracking and after securely checking it shows "seized by law enforcement". So his address is now "burned",and he has a few questions.... Would opening a PO box using his real identity tie his address to his new PO BOX? Is it suspicious to the USPS for someone to open a PO BOX and start receiving random packages? Is it harder to deny knowledge of a package sent to a PO BOX? Should PO BOX be setup at his local post office, or one farther away? Any other alternatives?

P.S. Vendor's name is "dabfairy" on TR Market, his packages are getting seized left and right, beware if you been looking at buying from him.

Don’t mean to derail your thread but is there any info on why dabfairy is getting his packs seized? Is it shit stealth?

This is literally the function of a PO Box.

Would opening a PO box using his real identity tie his address to his new PO BOX?

Ya think?

Is it harder to deny knowledge of a package sent to a PO BOX?

I can send a package to any city, state and PO Box at all without knowing who is receiving it.

Should PO BOX be setup at his local post office, or one farther away?

You can get a PO Box near where you work instead of where you live because you drive past there every day. There are lots of reasons why you might want to do this.

Unless it's under a diff name it's a dumb idea you need multiple ids and had to fill out forms guess what's on your id your address ?!?!?

[2 Points] Tallerkobe:

Couldn't the vendor be lying and just of not sent the package ?

[2 Points] Phones987:

If you do open a po box watch out for old dumb postal workers. This old broad who sold me my po box fucked up on the computer so much it took an hour to get it. Them 3 of my orders dont arrive then a bunch of mail comes in with someone else name so Im pretty sure they sold my box to someone else

Whatever address is on the ID card / passport / DL used to open the PO Box, is the address that will now be tied to the PO box.

Is it suspicious to the USPS for someone to open a PO BOX and start receiving random packages?

Not at all. 100% no.

Is it harder to deny knowledge of a package sent to a PO BOX?

I don't think so.

Should PO BOX be setup at his local post office, or one farther away?

It depends on several factors. It's up to the individual.

Any other alternatives?

  1. Private mail box rental at a mail box rental store.
  2. Virtual offices with mail forwarding and mail hold.
  3. Short term housing or office rentals.

Literally having a P.O box doesn’t increase your chances of unlikely getting caught, literally the same risk whenever you order drugs from the inter web

[1 Points] Joskins:

Why was it seized by law enforcement? Have you messaged the vendor? Maybe it's their fault. Maybe they've got surveillance on them. Maybe, maybe not.

[0 Points] None:

Why doesn't he just have another friend open a PO box and play it safe? Lol

Was the vendor named budcentral ? /u/SpartanEco
