Long BTC transaction time

I'm sure this is an over asked question but I just wanted some more clarification for my personal confidence. I recently sent 0.07 BTC with a mining fee of 0.001. It's been over 20 hours and it still has not been sent. Do I have anything to be worried about or is the worse case scenario I just have to wait 30+ hours for the transaction to complete.

depends on the transaction size aswell.

/u/chaintip $10

Try out the Bitcoin that isn't artificially bottlenecked by big money, i.e. Bitcoin Cash.

Some say yay while others say nay

It's technically been broadcast, just not confirmed.

Have you seen this site? Look towards the bottom at the recommended fees. What was your transaction size? Sat/byte?

[1 Points] zalcred:

The size is 340 bytes

Same. Waiting on a dream withdrawal. Been almost 24 hours now and its still unconfirmed. I'm starting to hate bitcoin but dream doesn't accept monero so...im stuck with bitcoin. I need to send that money back into the market because im short 10 fucking dollars so i cant place my order. Thought i had enough but bitcoin fucking fluctuated (chose the wrong shipping for my order now i need more btc). Now my BTC is on the market, while i wait for my other BTC to transfer. So fustrated right now, i dont want my BTC sitting on the market and if i transfer it i'll get another fee.

I sent a transaction with 800 sat/byte and nothing. Bitcoin is broke

Mempool pending transactions doesn't seem to be spiking though. I made a transaction 3hrs ago, about 300bytes in size with a fee of 0.002btc. Received 3+ confirmations within 30mins.

Could there be an issue with the sending or receiving address?

At least I'm not alone. Been waiting 32+ hours for $63 tx 512 bytes. Try increasing fee and get message (no suitable output). What a bummer. :(

Should have used monero
