I placed an order last week. The vendor had a pretty early shipping cutoff so I placed my order and paid (was FE) the night before. I paid an extra $30 for express overnight shipping. The listing showed there was plenty of product left and the vendor had 100% rating with solid reviews.
Mid-afternoon the next day I logged in and saw that my order was still processing. I checked and the vendor had logged in after I placed my order so I messaged them. A fee hours later and there has been no response. By this time it was too late to ship it out so I messaged the vendor to cancel my order as I had met his cutoff and he failed to ship by his own terms. I never got a response.
There was no change on my order status until the next evening, again after it was too late to ship out. The vendor narked it shipped.
My order arrived two days later, over 96 hours after I paid for the product and overnight shipping. I messaged support and asked them to allow me to open a dispute for the shipping costs as I followed his terms while he did not. He never once answered any of my messages. In the meantime I left a negative review, detailing that while the product was alright his service was terrible.
Am I in the wrong here? I paid the guy for a service that he failed to provide.
The vender did not meet his terms (shipping cutoff time) and so he was in the wrong. These comments that say "its the darknet so it's okay that he was late" are ridiculous and that type of mentality will hold the market back. If the seller cannot meet his terms, he should not make them in the first place. Not to mention that he started stonewalling the OP. Unfortunately, you probably won't get your money back OP, but the negative feedback was 100% deserved.
