going nuts trying to understand basics. please help this newbie make her damn transaction.

I have bought bitcoin, and it is sitting there waiting for me at coin.mx. I have installed the tor package, accessed angora, and have found a product I wish to purchase from a vendor I've read good things about.

Now how do I make the transaction?

How do I transfer my bitcoin from coin.mx to my angora wallet?

Once I've done that, how should I explain my shipping address to the vendor? The "shipping message", angora indicates, is the first message to the vendor. Angora says its best to use PGP encryption if I'm going to give my address. I have no idea how to use PGP, and it sounds very tedious, so I dont expect anyone to use summarize for me what I;m supposed to write, but can somebody direct me to a site that'll explain this shit in the most basic way possible? Do I really need to do this PGP stuff?

Can I just this site https://www.igolder.com/pgp/encryption/ to generate ab encrypted message?

(Of course, I do have a pgp key, as that was required to register for angora. I get that it's my stamp, but I don't really know how I'm supposed to think about and use that.)

Lacking tor fluency, I'm just really lost and frustrated right now. I feel the way I think my mom feels when ahw can't get her phone off of airplane mode...knowing whatever the problem is, it's obvious, just not to her.

No. Please don't use igolder.com. There is most likely a court order against them requiring that they keep their site open even though they were supposedly going out of business almost a year ago. So many people have been using that site for encrypting info used in illegal transactions, it seems like it would be no problem for the FBI / DEA to get a court order for them to collect all unencrypted messages, private keys and passwords.

Try this PGP client instead:

http://www.gpg4usb.org/

Here's a guide for it:

If you want to practice sending and receiving encrypted messages, this is a good sub:

PGP. Your public key is how people send encrypted messages to YOU. If you want to send a message to a vendor, you will need THEIR public key. Server side PGP encryption is pretty much frowned upon because its not as secure as doing it from your desktop client.

it's really not as difficult as it may seem right now. There are different clients, but since im using a mac and I assume you probably have windows machine Its hard for me to help. If you download TAILS OS it has everything DNM related built in for you.

Are you an Asian asking how to transfer to Angola?

Give me your name, address, and market logins and I'll do it for you.

In coin.mx go to "wallet" and there should be something labeled "transfer". Now go to agora, go to "wallet" it will tell you your Bitcoin address. Copy and paste this into the bar on coin.MX, then select the amount of BTC you want to send and select "transfer". This is the easiest way, it is suggested to tumble your coins but that's just more steps

i use PGPportable for pgp encryption it can be installed on a USB, encrypt to the vendors public key(save the key in notepad) and leave no signature. If you encrypt over the internet the encrypted information could be intercepted.

People still don't seem to have mentioned using bitcoin tumblers. There are two in the sidebar. I last used one before it was removed from the sidebar. I've used bitcoin fog but not sure of bit blender is better. I'd personally run it through a tumbler first. You send it the normal way, like described in this thread, to the tumbler and then you can withdraw it to your agora wallet if that's what you want to do. [I usually send it to a tumbler, send it to my private wallet and then deposit/send my needed coins from my private wallet to my market wallets when I need it because I don't keep more than a few cents on a market unless I'm making purchases.]

So once the deposit has got through you can make a purchase. Use PGP to encrypt your own address with your own name using the method described by /u/sohhlz and paste the encrypted text into the address field. Generally I would avoiding FEing until you receive the item unless the vendor is trusted.

Hope that helps. If not, ask.

Don't waste time with pgp if you're buying small amounts
