Received the wrong stuff from a reputable vendor. Trying to contact him--what should I expect? I have concerns he'll ask me these questions:

The package came with appropriate stealth, but it had the wrong contents. I messaged him (a super highly trusted seller) to let him know just a few minutes ago and explained in general terms that I received the wrong thing.

My concern is that he's going to ask me what I did receive. I don't want to describe what I did receive, because if I was LE then that is how I would confirm that the person who picked up the mail is the person that made the online order.

My second concern is that although the order was small (10-20), he will ask me to send back the things that I was not supposed to receive. I also do not want to do this, for obvious reasons.

How should I expect this interaction to go? Should I be concerned?

I should add that this is my first order on this particular site, so I am at trust level 0.

He will not ask you to send it back to him lol, guaranteed as that's horrible OPSEC.

Also you will have to answer what you received, that's just how it is. PGP everything, it's not LE.

This post makes you sound sketch af. Obviously a reputable vendor isn't going to ask you to send it back--where would he have you ship it? His house? His mom's house?A "super highly trusted seller" isn't going to compromise his security and anonymity, especially over a small (10-20 dollar??) order.

And no, LE is not going to confirm that the person who received the pack is the same person who made the order by somehow logging your communication with the vendor--not that it would prove anything anyway. Even if they were capable of doing so, LE isn't going to waste time and resources trying to connect the dots of a $20 transaction. If they were aware of the situation they would have arrested you when you took possession of the pack, they don't need to prove that you're the person who ordered it. You can send the vendor a PGP message like you (hopefully) did when you sent him your address if you want added security. That said, your strange paranoia and complete lack of understanding as to how any of this works makes me think that ordering from the DNMs probably isn't a good fit for you.
