[Opsec] Let's talk drops

I feel like there really isn't enough discussion on drops in this sub. I'm not talking about orders for personal consumption - rather, us folk who order large quantities that come in sketchy looking boxes from China rather than USPS priority mail envelopes. I've heard the same few ideas pop up every now and then:

Abandoned house - yeah no

Ordering to a friend's house - this goes full retard and puts two people at risk instead of one

Shelf corporations - this seems promising but I really don't know how to go about it

Renting an apartment/house for cheap with a fake - again, how do you even do this without providing SSN, background check etc.

Renting a house/apartment without SSN/Background check is tricky but it is possible. It takes a lot of time and work.

Craigslist is your best friend in this regard. It's all about the landlord and if they're willing to work with ya.

Typically you want to rent from an actual owner vs a leasing company. I say typically, because there are some sketchy leasing companies out there that are willing to turn a blind eye.

It's all about people and establishing a dialog along the lines of : "I have no problem paying for rent, but I prefer to stay off grid. I can pay first and last months rent up front, a double deposit and pay rent three months in advance."

From there you can gauge from their response on how to proceed. Use a burner email / phone to make inquiries and trust that there is someone out there who appreciates living free without asking questions.

The best landlords are those who don't give a fuck about the house they're renting and just want to get paid.

The worst landlords are those who absolutely love the house and come around all the time to do repairs and whatnot. For a drop that wouldn't be too horribly bad but definitely not the type to rent a house out to "off-grid" people.

Your mileage will definitely vary and you'll end up with way more dead ends than successes. But when you do find that prime, cherry sweet spot, you know it and you'll want to keep it until it's compromised somehow.

if your in a rural area, got a extra $10 mailbox, an a stick/pole to put it on. ya could take ur chances doing what i do.

drive around looking fer unmarked dirt roads, just put up the mailbox an hope fer the best. pick out a name, then try to send stuff to it. it all really it depends on the mailman they might deliever to it the next day, next week or mabye not ever.

it,s hit n miss, but low risk/cost.

well you say drops than lets talk drops ... a drop needs to be a clean address where the home has no drugs , fire arms and the person with the name on the item isn't a criminal in the state or federal system as the police check names with arrest records when pulling mail for the K9s.

white pages , find some houses where the home owners work week days and snag the package mailed to there legal mailing address... PO box has you walking into a sting and mailing something to your name is a easy search warrent if found .

Your already committing a crime ... whats a little extra leg work to not have your name on a package and it not have to come to your house. work with vendors that offer tracking and be near buy ready to get the item as quickly as possible. Also when working with smell items ( cannabis, cocaine , meth, mdma ) you must use a MBB or Mylar layer packaged in a clean involvement

Here's a thing people do all the time: send backpacking food/gear to little back country post offices on hiking routes, care of <name>.

You show up with an ID of that name, looking like a hiker, "There should be a care package for me", leave with your package, and never use that same post office again.

Would that work?
