IT finally happened, it took over a year, but I've been HACKED, got about 3 btc stolen

Long story short....DO NOT USE SAFE-MAIL, DO NOT SEND A BACK UP OF YOUR BLOCKCHAIN Wallet to your safe-mail email....YAH, i KNOW I'M a total idiot!! Why does Blockchain even offer to send backups to email or dropbox or google drive????

I never and I mean never download anything onto my laptop I use, but something must have happened, I'm pretty sure it was the email account.

So now I'm going to use Electrum or something else, BUT how does it work if I use auto deductions from my markets to my wallet? How does it sync? If anyone can help I would appreciate any advice.

So what's the theory here, someone brute forced or phished your email password and rifled through your inbox?

You sent money to addresses like any other wallet.

It syncs to Electrum servers, and can be used over Tor.

Do you use TAILS?

Back when we thought sharedcoin was safe I made single use blockchain wallets. I'd buy BTC, start a wallet on blockchain with no email, transfer the BTC it and then send it via sharedcoin to my personal wallet through multiple repititions and then abandon the blockchain account.

Even my personal wallets are kept in a similar fashion. I don't need to deposit all the coins to a DNM straight away so I deposit what I need, as I need it until the wallet is empty and then destroy all incriminating evidence from my computer of that wallet.

These are my questions whenever I see one of these threads;

How was your wallet found/targeted?

How did the attacker determine your email associated with the wallet?
