Needing some peoples opinions.

I know I know i'm paranoid as fuck you don't need to tell me something I already know, just looking for someones insight on this. Received my pack today, checked the tracking number on the package to see when exactly it was dropped off. It has no history what so ever until it reached my state, the tracking then said that it bounced from a few different cities in my state, until it got to mine. But the return address said that it was coming from Cali? Is this something that is normal? The pack doesn't have any kind of smell or puncture to it. Considering sitting on it for a few days? Idk. Any thoughts? Thanks for the responses in advance.

  1. If it showed up, don't check the tracking. Did you use a VPN? No? Well then...
  2. USPS Tracking is a joke. I've seen packs with tracking make it to the destination without a single scan. It's all automated except for the last few steps of delivery.
  3. Settle down Beavis.

Well, its not supposed to be "normal" per se, but it happens often enough that this isn't suprising with USPS. FedEx or UPS are pretty diligent with their tracking and its updated better, but USPS anything goes. I wouldn't read anything into tracking whatsoever b/c its so unreliable. Iv'e had clearnet packs that have done precisely this. Either they don't get scanned at all until its being out to delivered or it gets scanned and then nothing whatsoever until its delivered. Its a poor instrument to use to decipher any meaning whatsoever.

You have it in your hands and more than a few minutes have passed - you are in the clear. Don't worry about sitting on it. If its in your home, you'd have swarms of LE if this was a CD or you were being watched (exception might be if you are a large vendor/reseller, maybe they'd let a pack go through to build a case, not sure). So you are fine, in the clear. Enjoy.

I wouldn't worry about it. Just the sheer volume of packages they deal with make even a fraction of a percent error to be a lot of packages. No systems perfect you should be fine
