Attention all Darknet Market Shoppers :-)

We are pleased to announce that Evolution has officially launched multi-signature escrow!

Please check our well-detailed guide for instructions on how to properly use multi-sig:

Also as a reminder, Evolution still has traditional escrow in place as an option for any user's personal preference. I would like to thank Evolution staff for all their hard work and ongoing effort to make Evolution one of the greatest markets in the deep web.

Please, feel free to leave any questions or comments you may have. Thank you all :-)

This is what I like to see from my DNM, some evidence their in it for the long haul. I've been around since the SR1 days and I can say things have changed for the better. SR1 was great but had zero competition and no incentive to improve things. I love how markets are getting better with competition.

So the option to choose between traditional and multisig escrow is for the vendor or the buyer to decide?

PS: Okay I read the guide. This system is shady. I have to send the funds to an address I do not control (the market's wallet) and then hope they get sent to the multisig addres that I have to assume it has been correctly generated with my public address.

On top of all, I only get to use it if the seller wants.

I think the "Multisig escrow markets" list should be more restrictive. A half-assed multisig escrow shouldn't be worth the list. It is really unfair to place them to the real multisig markets.

What sort of multisig is this?

Wait, why do I have to put funds into the wallet of the market first? Why can I not pay directly to the escrow adrress? Do I get the option of seeing the redeemscript before I place my order? When, if ever, do I get to see the redeemscript?
