Anyone else dealing with a "Package is in Transit" from a vendor for the last few days?

Weather is fucked right now so I expected things to be slow, but a package I ordered that was supposed to arrive today has been stuck on "Package is in transit to destination" for almost 5 days now and from what I remember from this issue with a clear net package once, it's either sitting in a container and the whole container hasnt left the distribution center or its just lost. What's really annoying me is that, while the weather has really shitty in the area it ships from, packages are still moving so I dont get why USPS would let a whole container sit for 5 days with no updates. I also paid for faster shipping and the vendor didn't do it which also lead to this, so frustrated.

Anyone else dealing with this or had their package sit continually "in transit" for days and then either not receive or receive it eventually?

I have same thing happening. My pack hit origin facility, said in transit for a few days and now it’s updated to in transit delayed. I’m guessing they lost my fucking pack. I sent you a pm. Check it and get back to me...wanna make sure we aren’t using the same vendor

I have a pack that would’ve been here Monday but isn’t due to weather. The longest it sat “in transit” with no updates was 36 hours though. Started moving again this afternoon.

Are you looking at the tracking using the actual tracking number or using Informed Delivery? Only ask because the latter seems to be less reliable for whatever reason. If it’s the former and you haven’t seen movement in 5 days it definitely seems like somethings fucked up. That sucks, hopefully the vendor will work with you on it.

Yup. A vendor within an hour from me sent his normal priority to me and it's been 8 business days of "in transit to destination". Finally it got a different scan indicating it arrived at my local sort then would be out for delivery, but switched back to "in transit" for the last 2 days.

No weather issues other than it being cold.

same boat here... had a package auto-update "In Transit" for 3 days then nothing since Jan 6. I order Dec 26 with EXPRESS shipping and the vendor shipped it PRIORITY on Jan 3...

Having the same issue OP, one with a pack from a market and one from clearnet. The one from the clearnet is been delayed over a week, and the market like a few days. I've had other packs come from clearnet, but they were amazon. (this is a clearnet store that ships using USPS boxes). /u/darkwangsduck did your pack land yet?
