Important - CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS

Now that several servers from several markets have been imaged by authorities, with the resources available to them and the generally poor condition of SR2, it is possible that they could retrieve log in information.

In other words, if you use the same username and password on any of those sites, that you use on Agora or some other marketplace, it is possible that law enforcement could access your account.

If you are a vendor, this could be potentially terrible news. Law enforcement operated XanaxKing's account to find people lower in the supply chain.

Change your passwords.

[3 Points] UDNM:

If you have used the same username on SR2 as other sites, it's probably best to ditch that username as well.

Password? Seems like a good time for a brand new alias. Maybe this could become an annual thing. Cull the weak, scare the noobs, launch a storm of conspiracy theories, half of which probably end up being true. I'm really surprised there hasn't been more talk of parallel construction, people are oddly trusting of LEO's word even though we're all well aware of their propensity for and love of dishonesty and deceit, and complete lack of respect for the rights of individuals.

The two remaining DNMs have 2FA with PGP, use it.

Can you change your name on agora? Is the registration open?

[1 Points] sklurgh:

You shouldn't be using the same passwords on different sites anyway. IMO the same goes for usernames too but I understand why some people do.

Good advice though not everyone realizes that.

if the passwords we're stored in cleartext, i fail to see how THAT would be good opsec. i'm sure they will only care to crack vendors and admins pw's....small time weed buyers and stuff, what would be the point, just like the rest of the time.

People use the same passwords and usernames on multiple illegal websites?

Wow...
