Have an idea to help with selective scammers - what do you think?

So I have an idea for possibly improving the success rate of orders. I think most of the time this will mean nothing but if you ever get a flaky vendor or a selective scammer I think this could save your order.

I always put something in my message along with my address like "thanks for your service" or just "hey buddy how are you doing? I appreciate it", just to add some humanity to the order. Now I've been thinking of adding a quick line that I am a reddit user and would love to leave a glowing review if everything goes smoothly.

Like I said, maybe most vendors will just look over it but some may decide not to scam you knowing you will blab, and some may just put a tiny bit of extra care into the order knowing it will benefit their rep. Sort of like how samples tend to be really great.

My only concern is that they see it as some sort of threat.

What do you think? Useless or worth using?

I think a market needs to bring out an anonoymous stats system for OS buyers.

Ie: you write normal feedback "thanks" but it wasnt recieved, you only got a 50% refund. so you mark item anonymously as "not received"

then you can look at the stats for each vendor: Vendor A: Domestic: Received 99% not recieved 1%

international: Received 60% not recieved 40%

I have vendors message me on reddit from time to time after purchasing their products as if I am satisfied I always ask them if they want me to write them a review. That being said this could work very well for getting better service or more product from a legitimate vendor. However this won't work too well with scammers man, they probably won't give two shits about this because they only care about the dollars.

I can see where you are coming from but I don't know how much good it would do. Sure, a good review would be great for them but they may get more from selectively scamming you. If a vendor gets a few bad reviews on reddit it may be worth it to pocket the money you paid over.

They are an anonymous vendor and I encourage everyone to leave all negative reviews of vendors on this sub so they will be unsure who left the review. (To pull this off your reddit username would have to be different to the username you use on the markets, I would encourage this.) This will make them less likely to go Doxing you (In happens)

You could do what you suggested but IMHO sometimes it's just worth it for a vendor to scam you if they get a lot of money out of it. If they start getting a lot of negative reviews that's when they normally pull a big exit scam, change usernames and repeat.

It's a good idea. The only vendors who would shy away from publicity on reddit would be the ones who were looking to vanish/scam.
