Assuming that they're actually getting hit with https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/15850 or https://trac.torproject.org/projects/tor/ticket/15823 and not just a more mundane DDoS (which the Tor devs seem to think is the case), both of those bugs have been patched in the current Tor master branch (and have been for almost two weeks, now), and this could be a solved issue.
Is there something I'm missing? Is this not actually the DoS that's affecting the markets? Do the market admins just not know how to compile Tor? Are they worried about using an "experimental" build?
I feel like there's got to be something I'm not understanding, here...
I'm wondering if there's anyone here who runs a tor relay and can see what kind of traffic is directed towards the markets?
