Pack departed facility 36 hours ago, no movement. Only 2 hours away from me. Purple city

I ordered an 8th of mdma off purple city and people said he had good reviews and good stealth so i decided to go with him and priority

Usually when it hits the city thats 2 hours away from me and the time it left it would be at my city by 4 am get sorted and be in my box..yesterday I ordered on sunday shipped monday/tuesday..estimated delivery was today and nothing

But the updating hasnt updated in 36 hours from leaving..i was thinking maybe tracking was fucked up and it would just show up...doesnt look like it

Idk what the fuck to do, i live in a 200k + pop city too

I had a pack that departed sort facility on Saturday, and then again on Tuesday it departed again, landing on Wednesday. This week has been fucked for sure.

EDIT: I was wrong about the dates but check it out. Same tracking # and same zip (partially obscured for sellers privacy)

I have no real answer for you. But FWIW, mail and tracking has seemed to be slow and fucked up this week bc of the holiday or something.

Dude relax. I've sent thousands of packages and I've seen some have no updates for up to 10 days...even if it's in the destination city. Shit happens, postal service is random and a joke sometimes.

It's surprisingly rare but USPS does have fuckups, but I will say they don't happen often with Priority. Most likely guess I can give is that while it was at the sorting facility, some overworked PSE was working the sorting bins and misplaced your pack into the bins based on the last two digits of the zip. When priority mail and packages are sorted, before they leave the sorting facility the sorting is done by hand. There's a huge area with a lot of bins that each go to a different location, which is determined by the last two numbers of the zip. Sometimes PSEs simply can't find the correct bin so they get in a rush and put it in one that's their best guess, other times it will get thrown some distance and tip into the wrong bin. When this happens, no matter how it happens, that piece of mail gets sorted out to the wrong destination facility. When that destination facility receives and then scans the mail that comes in eventually it gets figured out that there's a piece of mail there that shouldn't be since it won't scan properly, and it gets routed back to the sorting facility for appropriate action. This can lead to mail being in limbo for a couple days though, and tracking for it generally isn't updated since the destination facility that receives it doesn't scan it into their system and sends it back. After working there for several months I saw this happen quite a bit and am not proud of it but a few times I put a package in a random bin because I absolutely could not find the right one and as a PSE you get bitched out for standing around with anything in your hands if it looks like you're not actively working.

If it were a CD, they're not supposed to let anything show on tracking that may tip the recipient off, so the postal inspectors would've had your tracking updates showing up as normal.
