What kind of antenna would I need to pick up on public WiFi from my house?

I live close-ish to a Starbucks and I was wondering what kind of antenna I would need to buy to be able to access their WiFi from my house. Would I buy a WiFi adapter or would I need an actual dish? Can someone link me to the ideal item?

ALfa or a yagi usually work. Alfa if you want to bruteforce passwords like taking candy from a baby.

to go crazy far you can convert a old sat dish and hook it up to an alfa attena , Remove the LNB unit that receives TV signals, and replace it with a USB WiFi adapter.

LOTEKOO 150Mbps USB WiFi Adapter is cheap and has good range. I have used it before and it beats the more expensive ones.

Check out newegg.com I have seen some with a pretty long range that might work. It should tell you in the specifications for the product how far of a distance it can receive a signal from.
