Any Chemistry advice? Might just avoid me blowing myself up lol

Ok slight issue.

Im working on doing a P2NP/HG reduction using Aluminum amalgam. Only problem is all the information on it shows a maximum of 5g P2NP being reacted at once with a yield of about 3g amphetamine.

I was hoping to scale this up to a 100g reduction in a 5000ml conical flask? does this sound good or is the hydrogen gas emitted going to turn my place into a bomb?

Would a good respirator be best or should i construct a fume hood? i would prefer a fume hood to work under but the fan is a slight problem as it would have to be sparkless right? because hydrogen gas apparently can explode at 4% air content!

Also can you fit a 24/40 condenser to a 42/50 conical flask, will they fit? can not seem to find a 42/50 condenser in any type lol.

If anyone can offer any advice on absolutely any of these questions or all it would be great thanks :)

Not only am I confused as to why this was posted here, but I'm also not knowledgeable enough to answer your question.

Invest in a fire extinguisher.

ever wondered where the term "SWIM" originated? On Hobart Huson's site.

you're welcome

you are looking in the WRONG forum, bro.
BTW, have you even taken organic?

Sorry if this doesn't belong really in DNMs but it is drug and dark net related lol. Plus i cant really ask this question on the clearnet.

With over $3000 of chemicals and glassware invested in this i sure could do with some advice.

If anyone knows of a good chemistry forum dark net ideally would be helpful :)

Try /r/theehive

I'm scared for you. Don't blow up. Good luck!

You can buy adapters to fit pretty much any size of glassware together. For such a large reaction scale you should make sure your condenser is adequate to cool the refluxing solvent.
I wouldn't immediately jump to 100 g scale. Try it on 25 g first to see if you run into any unforeseen problems.
You definitely need to vent the hydrogen gas outside but I've never done large scale reactions that generate H2 without a fume hood.

i advice you to buy a good condenser, allihn, and stick to maybe 15/20 instead of 100

[1 Points] zombilives:

obviously run the condenser via glass ice with pump, or cook in the outdoor

im not chemist and only fucks with rp/i i know hi is a bitch

You can't just scale up. you need to calulate moles etc. As al/HG self boils if i remember you can cause a big fire going that big. the hive archive is your best bet
