A federal grand jury on Thursday indicted a Fresno man suspected of possessing ecstasy pills with intent to distribute, U.S. Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner said.

An investigation by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and Fresno Police Department led to the arrest of Austin Frembling, 20, as he was picking up a drug package at a post office box.

According to court documents, Frembling ordered the ecstasy online. The package was shipped from Canada and labeled with another person's name.

Frembling was released on bail and is due in court Feb. 24. If convicted, he could face up to 20 years in prison and a $1 million fine.

He bought it off Agora; see pg4 of the complaint: https://www.dropbox.com/s/p5uf6g8lf1qh49m/caed-03307884002.pdf?dl=0

FREMBLING was read his Miranda warning by FPD Detective Robert Gonzales and agreed to be interviewed. FREMBLING knew Detective Gonzales from when he was previously arrested by him (Gonzales) on February 07, 2013 for violating California HS 11378, Possession of a Controlled Substance. FREMBLING stated to Detective Gonzales that the parcel was his and he was planning to pay Maez $50-$100 to pick up the parcel from the post office. FREMBLING ordered the MDMA from a website called Agora and paid for the purchase using the digital currency Bitcoin. FREMBLING admitted to paying $3000 for the current shipment of MDMA and said he would likely have sold it in bulk to another dealer for $5000-$6000. He estimated that he received 6 packages of MDMA in 2014. FREMBLING stated he does not have a permanent residence and regularly moves to different people's houses.

He should ask for a refund; from pg2, it sounds like stealth was awful:

The parcel initially arrived at the mail facility on December 28, 2014, and was X-rayed, opened and examined by a CBP Officer. The parcel was found to contain an unknown powder in a foil bag. On December 31, 2014, a CBP Officer tested the uknown substance using Mayers Reagent and Marquis Reagent, and PDT Test Kit #164 for MDMA, which yielded positive results for MDMA. The substance was weighed by two CBP Officers and the total weight was found to be 261.22 grams.

Which vendor sells xtc pills out of Canada? I thought they all sold raw MDMA/MDA. I guess they could have been capped, but idk what vendor does that in CAN either. My guess is this is not darknet related or is some kind of direct trade deal not offered on the markets.

At this price point I don't see how it could be anyone other then soldier.

When you see these stories popping up, you see the similarities. Sloppy mistakes like ordering to a PO box, and labelled with another name.

No doubt stuff like this happens in real life, but this article seems very shaky, I don't trust it.

250+ grams of MDMA to be resold for $5000 is an awful business strategy.

Achievement unlocked: First confirmed buyer bust from Agora.

Hopefully not a sign of things to come

I also know someone who had multiple packs of pills taken in Canada from the same time period.

Very large ones but heavy mbb was always used.

Any one else?
