So in my situation, buying bitcoin is pretty fucking hard. First it was WU, but then that required ID. Most of all of the bitcoin traders are asking you to send it internationally. Which is fine I guess, but then you get asked if you really know the person, why so much money, always having the chance of having your transfer being flagged, blah blah blah.
Went to cash deposits, since it really is damn near the most anonymous way of doing it. That came to an end aswell. Reason being that the teller called me out on it, saying that "My account" had high interest and wanted to fix the solution. All of this was going on with her manager over her shoulder listening. I then told her that the account wasn't mine and that it was a friends. The manager guy cocked his head back with a smile on his face as if he was expecting that answer. The teller then went on to ask me, what bank I used and other small questions. My response being that those questions were irrelevant to what was going on at hand.
The 3rd and final option that I had tried, was cash through the mail. Get my cash together and send it on its way to the trader. He released the day that it arrived. The following day, I get a phone call from my local police station wanting to ask questions that were urgent. No doubt in my mind either that the trader probably gave some hints as to what my bitcoin was going to be used for.
3rd time is the charm, and i'm taking this as a hint that I better stop before something comes back to bite me in the ass. Only time I have read about somebody getting caught was from international packages, a stupid amount of one substance, or a tip off to LE. I'm considering my address burned....fuck.
Why are you making something so simple into something so complicated? Buy Bitcoin the easy and totally legal way so what if it requires ID. Just make sure to tumble them before you put them into any DNM associated wallet, and make sure to tumble any profits (if you're selling) on their way to your personal wallet.
I suggest Coinbase if you're in the US.
