Vendor fucked up my address, how should I proceed?

Long story short, had a shipment that was supposed to arrive last Monday, it's been in USPS limbo being returned back and forth two times now between my faulty address (he switched up a couple of numbers "accidentally") and a fake return address that he put down. Vendor is pretty reputable across multiple markets so I don't believe he's trying to scam me. Been trying to tell USPS to hold on to my shipment so that I can just pick it up in person but with no luck. What should I do here?

I would have said 2 years ago that when ordering on the DNM you should assume the funds you put into the purchase can potentially be put in limbo for up to 30 full days. Nowadays, I would put that number at 21 days.
