There is no "safe" form of standard email service. You must use a system to protect yourself when using standard email to contact vendors. You need to create an account on a free email service using Tor. You need to access that service only through Tor, never direct, or your home IP address will be logged by that email provider. You need to encrypt all of your messages using PGP. Using Tor for anonymity and PGP for privacy will give you the protection you need when using standard email.

If you don't use Tor to create your email account and to access it, the authorities will be able to determine who you are, where you live and that you are contacting a known drug dealer using encrypted messages.

If you don't use PGP when contacting a vendor, then the authorities will have all the evidence they need for a controlled delivery and a search warrant.

As an added layer set up several mail accounts and set up forwarding btwn accounts till it finally ends up at your main email. So say you email me at a@a.com> forwarded to b@b.com>forwarded to c@c.com and finally ends up at my true email d@d.com. Rise up.net Countermail.com Mykolab.com Valeso.com Salusafe. Com Vmail.me Safe-mail.net Startmail.com Neomailbox.net Mailtor Ussrmail Lelantos Austici Vfemail Last 5 have onion address so you'd need to look those up. YMMV

Something that's been getting a lot of attention lately is torbox. However, all messages are sent and received through torbox and it has no connection to the clearnet, so you wouldn't be able to message anyone @safe-mail.net or anything like that. I've seen a lot of vendors switching to it though and I like the idea of it. Here's a link: http://torbox3uiot6wchz.onion

Yeah, Bitmessage is loads better than email. No email is secure.

Here's also a comparison of email providers I got from prism-break http://prxbx.com/email/

mailtoralnhyol5v.onion - MailTor

torbox3uiot6wchz.onion - TorBox

you should have been able to find these on your own. but there you go
