Why is cocaine so expensive on the DNM'S and the street level?

n Columbia you can score a KG of really pure coke for ~$1200 USD and in the US it's like $25,000 USD if you're lucky and it's probably cut to shit.

The only logical reason I can think of why it's so expensive outside of South America is because the methods the cartels use to transport it. Like having to build submarines and shit the costs add up.

Is this the only reason why?

Supply and Demand.

Because the Mexican cartels are able to manufacture meth for a fraction of the cost of importing cocaine, so they push the meth and artificially inflate the coke. Just logistics really.

if the dealers in usa can dish it out for $25,000 a kg they're going to, because they know it will sell so why sell it for less? probably just everyone following suit by now

Because we can't manufacture it here and it travels 1000s of miles and there are costs associated with smuggling it and people risking their freedom.

Yes it's the only fucking reason. Like it's not a big deal... try fucking building a submarine and smuggling coke from Columbia yourself.

If it were as easy as you think everyone would be doing it and it wouldn't be so expensive.

Real drugs cost real money. Quality blow is a pretty penny.
