[CommunityDiscussion] Does a vendor have an obligation to ship products that were in evo escrow?

So I ordered a product last staturday, got marked ship on sunday, funds stayed in escrow. Obviously, didnt get shipped until Evo went down. I messaged the vendor on Agora and asked for my product to be shipped. He declined, as there is no way for him to be paid now.

However, I disagree. It was his decision not to ask for FE, so he has the risk of market disappearance.

Whats your take on this?

You took the risk of using an illicit market and thus knowingly accepted the "risk of market disappearance". I suggest you just accept your loss and move on.

is this for real?

Thing is, what you lost is most likly not even 1% of what the vendor lost that day. There is only a moral obligation if you will, and we know what that is worth here.

wow

you have to look at it like he previously sent out stuff and had cash in escrow already which are all losses and im sure he will cut the future losses by not sending out the extra things he never received money for.

They are not obligated to ship it just as you would not be obligated to pay them again if they did ship it.

No they dont.

Why is this. they DIDNT GET ANY MONEY they have no reason to ship!

Peroid.

If you haev a 1LB shipment but never recieved the money should you ship no!.
