An email address I use might have been put on a phish list.

1st time poster here, I wanted to ask what a scammer can do with my email address. I might have fallen for a scammers trick were I offered an email address.

Since people here probably know a lot about keeping safe from scams I thought Id ask here.

Im not feeling like its a red alert scenario, but I dont know for sure.

So what? Someone has your email? And not your password? If that's the case then I don't see an issue. Just spam any emails that are spam. Be smart

It depends. What was this email address used for? Is it attached to any online accounts? Social media? If it is, it can be used to possibly dox you.

Otherwise the most malicious thing someone can do with it is sign you up for unwanted email lists. Enable two-factor authentication on the account if at all possible just in case.

If you sent him any emails he can get your ip and then all your info from there
