Coinbase?

So ive been trading BTC on coinbase for a long time now, and as of recent they are asking me to verify my identity and what I'm using my coins for, and where the source of money for coins comes from? Has anyone else had them try this stuff? I did give them the info so I can keep getting coins, but as soon as my circle limit is raised I'm leaving coinbase

they have banned a lot of people for using darknet markets. if you send directly to market they notice. they dont need any proof and could ban you for suspicious activity for virtually anything even if you didn't use dnm

No. You should move on. What i do these days is i keep my coins in my wallet and then i buy merchandise from pispy and sell xmbc kits under a branded companies amazon designation and collect cash. I incorporate the cost into the fees but the funds are then cleaned by contemporary means.

You aren't they only one--I've seen various posts here mentioning the exact same request from them...

Circle will do pretty much the same thing if your activity is deemed "suspicious", such as determining the final hop in your txs is a DNM hot wallet due to you failing to remove the taint.

If they are asking those questions (Over email) it's called a Compliance review. If you search "Coinbase Compliance review" on Reddit, there's a thread where somebody has listed what to say to pass the review.

Been doing the same thing for about a year and a half now and I've never gotten that message... How much money are you purchasing in coins weekly/monthly?

They banned me for sending to markets. It's up to you. I recommend using gocelery. They're basically the exact same but they won't ban you for sending coin to certain places.
