Lost Circle as a choice so how about a List of sites to buy BTC

Sad news I learned today. Circle was exremely reliable, very cheap, and a great service. They have decided to no longer be involved with BTC. Such a shame.

Please add to the list to help your fellow brothers :)

-Coinbase

-LocalBitcoins

-Bitcoin ATMs

Pleasee list all other sites that you know of where BTC is able to be quickly bought/sold/traded.

Are there no alternatives to the simplicity, functionality etc of the Circle apps?

Does anyone have an opinion on bitsquare? Think that will be my replacement for now.

I use bitnovo, they take 6% at every transaction but it's quite fast and simple most of the time.

Bittylicious is great if you're in the UK.

[3 Points] OriginalScent:

Paxful, works like a charm. Shame I don't see many people mention it.

what are you talkin about Circle no longer involved with btc?

[2 Points] Mrjbsir:

THank god I live 1 miles from a bitcoin atm. Sure I have to pay a little extra but completely anoymous dont have to worry about tumbling and nothing goes through my bank account. I might lost 100 bucks so then when I was using circle but my god im so glad circle went down bc it forced me to do research and now I have a super safe way to buy coin and never have to tumble or anything. Bitcoin atm is the shit, sucks for you people living in the sticks. Also libertyx works great as well. All these sites like circle you have to use atm which mean your bank keeps records so if you ever get audited your fucked. Local atm is cash deposit so not a single trace of anything. Sucks for some of you

lmaooo they sent me an email saying I was banned for using their service for online gambling, which i did. didn't know they were moving on from bitcoin altogether. by just looking at ther app updates, they've been trying to go away from btc for a while now.

[1 Points] dervish666:

Uphold. They are very cheap, currently selling at £606 compared to £675 for bittylicious. Not the quickest, they can sometimes take a day to transfer, but they have been very reliable so far.

I use LocalBitcoins with Western union most sellers usually sell 1 bitcoin for $20 more,

[1 Points] kushkushthegreen:

dude circle was a quite intrusive method of obtaining bitcoins... albit it is an easy platform I have found anything safe and worth while is not always easy.

that being said, localbitcoins.com or bitcoin atm are acceptable.

[1 Points] sillydnmuser:

Cash deposit, or cash in person on LBC is the safest most anon way imo.

bitsquare.io (decentralized exchange)

Usually just browse this sub, but I used Circle for a while (several months). It was very easy.

Never used Paxful before and it was also easy. You may just have to get off your ass and go to Walmart. From start to finish it was maybe 5 hours. Not 5 minutes, but still not difficult.

I've been keeping all my BTC in my circle wallet and now it's gone?! wtf 3 years and hundreds of BTC they took from me?!!!

[1 Points] xanthrowme:

LocalBitCoins has worked awesome for me. I found a guy that sells that lives a few miles from me. There's no limit (at least not one relevant to me) as I can get thousands and only pay 2.5%. I would use LBC and try to find a reliable person that does in person cash transactions. I just realized I didn't really respond to the question.. Oh well, I'm posting it anyway.

[1 Points] BassNet:

The bitcoin ATM near me is listing the buy price at 833.48 which is totally off. And on top of that there's an 8% fee. I'm trying to buy bitcoin, not get robbed!
