Help a newbie with concentrates!

I have a need to partake a lot more discreetly these days. A friend of mine showed me his standard e-cig vape pen that he uses to vape THC concentrates. I'm an old school guy, and all these newfangled extracts are foreign to me (but very enticing). I've been browsing the various markets, but I'm having trouble telling the difference between the offerings (if there is any difference aside from strain). Examples:

HumboldtFarms offers " 500mg (1/2 gram) of CO2 extracted Shatter in each cartridge." These will screw onto a standard 510 thread vape pen.

Canna-Juice offers 2.5ml "cannajuice" that claims to be extracted with a C02-free process. These are not in cartridges - I imagine I'd need to fill my own.

There are a few other options, but here's what I want to know: Does anyone have experience with the different vendors' vape-able concentrates who can tell me who offers the best value?

Dr. Dabber + BHO. This way is stealthier than a traditional portable or desktop vape because weed generally smells stronger than wax and the Dr. Dabber is faster (you only need to take it out for one or two hits).

As for your original question, any extract from a highly rated vendor is fine for the dabber. Crumble is usually easier to work with, but wax/shatter is fine too. I'm using MikeAndIke's crumble, which is more like a soft wax. It's great for the pen, but I'm not sure where they went since BB departed.

Search online for good deals. I know of a popular online shop where you get it with bitcoin for <$70. PM if you need more info. For further convincing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gLqBw-8-LN4

Cheapest way would definitely be canna-juice. I don't think its worth it to use CO2 oil in vape pens because I find the high to be much weaker than if I dabbed the same amount of oil off of a rig. A rig setup (torch, dabber, nail, etc.) will cost you over $200 and it wouldn't really be discreet. If you were to buy canna-juice's e-liquid all you need is a $20 vape pen and nobody would think twice if they saw you smoking it.

I like CO2 oil the best. Unfortunately my favorite oil vendor doesn't have any right now (ahem AdventureTimeSupply cough). I actually just ordered what you listed from Humboldt. My concern is concentration - a lot of oils are weak (I think I've ordered from canna-juice before and was disappointed), and thus don't go very far and become cost-prohibitive.

Typically the waxy/shatter concentrates won't vape in a pen very well; you need a stronger/hotter portable vaporizer like the pax2.

Chroncentrate's stuff is great and cheap.
