seller used my address as return address, is this common?

The seller(from canada to US) used my address as the return address, and used a fake address as delivery, so that it would return eventually to me. Took almost 2 weeks for a 3-4 day delivery. I dont know if there is any benefit to vedors doing this, but I think it could put ME at risk. Why do this shit??

Whoa, that's fucked up and definitely not common. I've never heard of that. Originally i figured they used your addy for both (which I've sent letters this way, non-dmn of course). This is absolute shit and an absolute risk. VERY bad. While technically it would probably make it to you given the addy was entirely fake, this creates an "exception" in the mail stream and this goes against what we want. We want mail to arrive as it normally arrives, not create exceptions. This brings extra scrutiny to the pack. Awful.

Name and shame.

Sounds like someone has been reading too much of The Anarchist's Cookbook in their free time. Definitely putting you at risk by drawing unnecessary attention to your pack.

This is the kind of vendors who don't give a shit about you.

Do us all a favor and name the vendor.

[3 Points] CocaineNose:

liston or listonishere use to do this or similar. If not your address as the return it would be from the same state when it clearly got sent from another state. Terrible.

[2 Points] spacecataz:

this is mail fraud

[2 Points] _Chaotic_Shift:

No, not common at all. Very fucked up in my opinion.

[2 Points] HumboldtFarms_PR:

Wow thats crazy

[2 Points] VALISOFFICIAL:

WTF alright.

[2 Points] sillysally11:

Wow if that was done to avoid paying for stamps......I mean....I don't even know what to say about that. How pathetic.

[2 Points] loveletterreceiver:

Maybe the vendor was high on his own supply and stuck the labels on the wrong sides, then put the stamps on the right side

Just downright wrong.

[1 Points] Hank_Vendor:

That absolutely has to be a mistake

No one is that stupid. seriously.

all he needs to do is weigh the drugs, put them in an envelope and put the right address on. Yet he fucks up the most important one?

[1 Points] None:

He probably messed up and switched them on accident. It's certainly possible he pulled that for the reason you describe, but I would attribute it to stupidity before malice =D

That is fucked up though.

[1 Points] labelmastermind:

Hey friends from the DNMs. I don't usually post here. But I'm making an exception because I feel like the truth should come out, and in my mind this was no accident, and I think the person that started the thread is either a shill, or given him the tiniest bit of benefit of the doubt what he said is true. But for the following reasons, I don't think it adds up

First of all, who in their right mind would ship with mixed up labels on pupose. That's beyond stupid. If I were that stupid he would have never got said order and maybe I would have got it, returned to my REAL mail adress, of course.

So here are the facts. I ordered 3 grams of MXE for personal use. Didn't really like it so I planned on selling a couple of grams of MXE at cost. The first person I sold it too said it was great and that I should stock it in my normal inventory. The 2nd person actually gave me tips about it, and tought me how to really enjoy it. Which I do now, so I never sold the last gram. So 2 orders went out and for were well received 5/5 on both feedback or so I remember, but agora when down so I got my feedback via email. Maybe one didn't leave a feedback. But I would definately leave a 0/5 feedback if this was the case. And yeah, maybe agora was down so he couldn't. But the timeline does not support this. I send these 2 orders out close to a month ago. He or she should have had time to leave feedback as far as I know. Because I could not wipe orders off the server until ...i think 14 days after the order is finalized.

Furthermore, I don't process 30 orders a day. It's a small time operation done for money as much as the love of what I do. I had 2 orders of MXE, I really don't think I'm that stupid to not notice that I'm sending an order to the US from Canada? I check my orders, verify it's going to the right buyer, then weigh the order to make sure there is correct postage while double checking that all the order details look right. I would have spotted this. I have a policy where I don't do any shipping and handling while under the influence. This results in delays, but it doesn't result in what this user is accusing me of. But mistakes do happen. Hey maybe the buyer wrote this high on really good MXE. Things get pretty fucking confusing on that stuff. So maybe cut him some slack eh? So much name and shame going on here. I get it, it rhymes. So it must be super fun to type. Can't we just be a little civil and have a fucking discussion?

I care about my clients safety as much as mine. We all have at least one interest in common, one that is very important to me, so I treat every customer like a brother, or a distant cousin ;)

Please anybody that read this thread.. There is even one mention of the mxe. I take security seriously, and I'm really offended that my rep is being questioned. I'm usually actually really fun to chat with, this message is written while I'm a bit pissed, so take that in mind.

So members of this thread, please make your judgement. I am being trolled, or dealing with a shill, or am I too stupid to know how to understand how lettermail works. There wasn't email when I was born, so I actually used lettermail a lot in the past! If it somehow was really my mistake, then I apologize. Labelmakermastermind

That's terrible

[0 Points] FagDamager:

i always wondered whether i could send a letter for free by just switching the addresses; so my address goes where the recipient is, and the intended recipient's address goes on the return part. i just thought that wouldnt work because it would have been collected from a postbox in my town. anyone tried this?

[-6 Points] surreptitious1:

Name the vendor or GTFO! You're doing nobody any good by sharing this otherwise.
