How to sign up for informed delivery?

I'm trying to sign up for informed delivery but, of course, don't want to get caught. What are the precautions I should take to not get caught when checking and when signing up for informed delivery? Is it as simple as just using public Wi-Fi to check? Can I use my personal Wi-Fi to check it? If I posted this in the wrong place please tell me and I'll pop it on over to wherever it needs to be!

Does anyone know how to sign up for a controlled delivery?

You go to usps.com and click informed delivery and answer a few questions verifying your identity via your address. They will ask questions like which of these options is a street near you, etc. Answer those questions correct and follow the steps and it will be set up. Don't listen to everyone here, normal people use informed delivery it's not just a darknet thing. My grandmother asked me to help her set it up like 3 weeks ago on the phone, I don't think she is ordering drugs off the darknet, sometimes people just would like to know what mail is coming is so they can plan accordingly for their bills, packages, etc.

informeddelivery.usps.com I'm pretty sure it's safe to sign up. I've used it for quite some time already

you register like everyone else in the world that uses it does? common sense...which you obviously don’t have. what does it matter if you’re using your wifi or mcdonalds wifi? the purpose of informed delivery is to show packages and mail being delivered to your address.
