In regards to messaging / communicating with vendors

Hey, I have lurked for months. And I have now set up shop. Now, just a quick question. In regards to messaging a vendor, How much of the convo should be pgp encrypted? Should I encrypt every single message, or only sensitive info. Thank you.

I feel like the answer is every message for opsec reasons, but I do not know if vendors just start ignoring messages due to getting annoyed about having to decrypt them everytime. Also, do most vendors prefer communicating over Jabber, marketplace, or in the forums?

I didn't find much info on messaging etiquette, so I thought i'd ask. Any help is appreciated

Generally speaking, only sensitive and identifying info need be encrypted. General questions do not.

There are a few vendors who use jabber. As a customer the preferred platform is the marketplace.

depends on the vendor. some insist on encrypting every message but most will be happier if you only encrypt anything sensitive like your address, since they have a lot of messages to answer and pgp adds overhead.
