Nah drugs are a young man's game. Once you hit thirty you aren't allowed to partake anymore. It's the law.
[9 Points] redditulousfun:
Im over 30 and partake in just abought everything besides meth i just dont have time to be high for days on end lol. In the last year ive taken mdma,mda,2cb,lsd,mushrooms,dom,ketamine,ghb,coke,heroin,hydrocodone, and i smoked weed a couple times lol.
The difference between now and my pre 30 days is i dont binge hard anymore and i stick to only weekends and not even everyweekend

I'm 49 and I started doing drugs when I was 48. I have a regular job so I can't do things all that often, but I have dabbled in MDMA, cannabis, LSD, mushrooms and 2-CB.

Mid 30s and I vaporize a tiny bit of herb to go to sleep at night and smoke a bowl or two on the weekend. Hard drugs are reserved for special occasions (1-2x/yr). I've recently cut uppers (except molly, maybe) out of the rotation because the risk of heart problems increases with age. You can still have fun, but the definition itself changes. Staying out til 5am isn't as interesting as the first 300x and I can get laid at home.

Over 50 started at 14. Drugs are fine no issues. Now drinking well that about killed me. Like 100 times. Dry for 18 months. Do other things and works for me. Opiates are an issues as well. But off them about 6 times.
I smoke pot all the time. All day every day.

The Grand Wizard saw the original Grand Wizard of Wrestling live and in person when he was managing George "The Animal" Steele. The experience shattered our psyche like 10 million acid trips -- and as he was walking back to the locker room and dodging thrown objects, he looked up at a pimply teen and said "one day this will be yours."
Decades later Gotham needed to alter its consciousness. And so, through a series of events which cannot be repeated in polite company, the Turban and Sunglasses passed on to a new owner. Along with several cabana boys and an oceanfront flat in Latveria.
That's our story anyway, and we're sticking to it.

Im just shy of 30 but still using. Mostly MDMA but on the odd occasion a little bit of LSD
My partner, who is just over 30 uses MDMA on the odd occasion she has the chance to go out clubbing. She used to take LSD with me as well but not so much anymore.
It doesn't overly affect our lives. We use on weekends only and we're both fully functioning adults. I have a good job and provide for us. We have a young son but never use around him or if it will affect him. The nights she has a chance to go clubbing, he has a babysitter for that night and the following day for us to recover.
At the same time, it's not a requirement for us. We can still go out and have a good time without it. But it's cheaper for us to have a few caps of MDMA and a couple of drinks then it is for us to go out and just drink.

I'm about 40 and still do drugs daily. I'm an opioid guy and dependent and hence do them daily, at a fairly decent clip. How long? Good question, I started using when I played rugby. At 18 and even 19 I could take hits and recover quick. BUt that changed when i hit 20. It seemed like I'd feel the game for longer, that pains would nag me, so like every athelete did at that period of time, you took opioids. Wasnt' daily back then, I'd pop before a game and after and maybe the next day. Helped battle through the pain of taking hits all the time. I injured my back pretty bad, back when I was 28 or so, my spinal surgeon said I had the back of a 65 year old. It was bad. So I've been in chronic pain since.
I can still remember the moment I went from an occasional use to daily. After one of my surgeries, I started popped daily afterwards obviously for recovery. I realized that I could function really well on it. Before I would save it for hte weekends and some evenings. But after that surgery, I realized I loved taking them. So I'd say been a daily user for about 15 or so years. I need some for chronic pain issues. I obviously overindulge though.

Cannabis isn't a drug, it's an essential herbal dietary supplement.
[3 Points] Gratefulstickers:
I'm 28 and after years of crippling drug abuse..not really anymore. I was at the Dead and Company show last night and turned down acid and mushrooms.
I did smoke some weed!

My old man is about to retire, dude parties like he was still in his 20's. Helped me setup a co-op.

Also people are asking for a rationale for trying it late in life and my answer is pretty simple.
I made it to 40, done pretty much everything I wanted to achieve, I have a happy life & its a new experience.
Above all I consider for whatever reason that anything over 40 is a bonus round.
[2 Points] MitalikaSucks:
I am 31, started when I was 29-30 Often - MDMA, speed, ecstasy, ketamine, 2cb from time to time - LSD, DMT, meth, benzos, 5-meo-dipt, mxe, research chemicals

Turned 33 this year and I never did a drug till I was 27. Then I tried weed. Have been smoking it daily for a few years now, mainly as relief for my IBS. That's without a doubt the most positive effect - relieving a condition for which I have only one prescription that barely helps. It's also helped with both my anger and creativity, as well as introspection. I've become a calmer person than I used to be. Only way it really affects my life in a negative way is the cost, and the difficulty of taking drug tests. I haven't actually had to take one since I was a teenager, but the prospect of having to take one alone causes me anxiety. Additionally, there's a certain degree of paranoia that people I care about, like family, would change their opinion of me if they knew.
I've shroomed out a few times, but it's actually been a while now since I've done it.

I did not start using drugs till I was 38 I am partial to stimulants Meth/coke/mdma and of course I do like things like LSD/mushrooms/dmt
This does not take into account caffeine or alcohol which I consumed prior to my 38th birthday.
I feel they do enhance my life but then again it is hard to block out the constant negativity & sometimes I self reflect on if I am being impartial or not.
I must say I do feel an immense pressure from society to stop hitting on young women which if I am honest, I am not yet ready to give up. It is mainly young men that seem to think there is some magic line in the sand where you put the cardigan on and start watching better homes and gardens. That does not happen.
Next time you are next to a really old man say 80-90, watch his eyes when an attractive woman of say 22 walks past - they light up like damn Christmas trees is what I notice. Which is painful because I suspect the older I get the more I get made to feel like it is creepy.
I do not understand why we are we supposed to hug each other and paint rainbows when one man wants to put his penis in another mans bottom yet I want to perhaps do the same thing to a woman between the ages of 18-29 and somewhere along the line it is ok for everyone to express their displeasure at the disgusting older man leering at the pretty young lady (god fucking forgive him if he takes a stab at it) yet somehow gay peoples sexual choice is protected from any type of criticism.
Don't get me wrong, from a young age, I could not care less what people do as long as it does not hurt others or is not with a person below 18 - if it makes you feel good then do it.
I think I got off track a bit.
The guys I know who go the hardest and I have the best time of my life with are all above 40 - a few of them have been doing hard drugs their whole adult life & are far more successful than me even though I have been drug free for nearly all of mine.
[2 Points] cccas:
Mid-40s, do opiates every day, heroin most days. Have done for 20 years. But it does cost money...
[1 Points] pwoahway:
Late 30's, my memory was fine until I ran out of pot. Now I wander around the house like an Alzheimer's patient all day.
[1 Points] cinnamongirl67:
I'm 48. started smoking pot when I was 13 and smoked a lot and took a lot of acid and PCP when I was young. pretty much quit weed and do L and E about 4times a year. and pop a pain pill ever once awhile.
[1 Points] katzphan:
I am 28 I use drugs all the time and I work on computers for work. Drugs have a place in society I believe, drugs open up your mind in ways that it can't think without them. If you are curious you should Google all of the geniuses in history that used drugs and plenty of them advocated for the legalization of drugs. Math is a very tedious thing and plenty of mathematicians used drugs Steve Jobs credits acid for tons of his ideas and inventions and even wrote that Bill Gates would be much more successful if he had tried acid. I do drugs and make programs that I have a harder time developing sober.
[1 Points] LongHairBri:
I turned 50 last week. I smoke a couple ounces of week every week along with several dabs daily. My current drug collection contains Ketemine MDMA, and LSD.
[1 Points] an_illegal_smile:
Over fifty and I weed all day, erry day. It don't cost very much, but it lasts a long while :D

I'm almost 40 and I still do coke. I really enjoy coke because I can do just a couple of lines and get nice feeling. DNM has given me the ability to get really good quality product so I don't feel the comedown. I can do a line or two here and there and be back to normal in 30-60 minutes. It works out great when you have a family to go home to and you want a nice rush, but don't want to go home all fucked up.
[1 Points] throwawayreddit416:
Alcohol is drug and I know people still drinking at old age. Cigarettes and coffee. My friends grandpa used to take cough medication ah-hem when babysitting.
Edit: There are MMA fighters that fight their balls off, livers off, brains and faces off, till in their 40s bro, 30s should be fine. They also get broken bones, like broken nose and ribs. Gets choked out from lack of blood to the brain and joint submissions on regular basis.
[1 Points] hangbellybroad:
Over 60. Been doing weed since 18, still indulge daily, really like good strong edibles now. Present stash includes mushrooms, dmt, 2-cb, mescaline, heroin, morphine, more than enough alprazolam to last my life, cheeba chews, cannatreat brownies in freezer, cooked flake opium and more pods to process, waiting on an opium order from a dnm, mdma, ambien, diazepam, lorazepam, I have got a lot of stuff laying around. Haven't really tripped for quite a while, did up some 2-cb a year ago and it was interesting, tried mescalin a couple months ago but it just seemed like all the work and none of the fun of a good trip, I hope my old brain cells can still trip, I think the benzo use has messed that up for me, I still really want to experience the spine shivers and great belly laughter that is part of the psychedelic come-up. The weed thing is the only constant in my 40+ years of active drug use, and it has exposed me to some real danger, but I have survived pretty well unscathed. You never get too old. At least some direct drug experience is essential for an inquiring mind. Oh yeah, got some whip-its too, get into them once or twice a month. Got into cocaine in the early 80's, learned how to make freebase, that is the only stuff I ever had a real problem with, it had me on the brink of the abyss for a while... got over it.
[1 Points] TossThatBag:
33, still occasionally vape weed, maybe once every two weeks if I'm lucky. Full-time job + side job + GF keeps me busy, but when I've had a long fucking week and just want to veg, shit is super nice.
I don't get balls-out stoned anymore, though. Too much paranoia when I do that. But just enough to catch a nice mellow buzz.
I'm 53 and just did some LSD yesterday(have a vial).I also have a little DMT.I smoke about a half ounce a week.By the way I'm retired.Your never too old to rock n roll or party!
