So I placed an order on DHL with a vendor and btc had fluctuated enough that it wanted me to send the extra to a different address. I misunderstood how this worked and cancelled the order because I'd much prefer to pay the whole thing full. My screw up is that I thought the market held onto the coin until they had the full payment to give to the vendor but I soon learned that after I cancelled the order the vendor already had the coin and withdrew it from their account so I wasn't refunded any btc but the order was still cancelled. I offered the vendor to pay the difference to still get my order shipped out but they said it wasn't possible. Am I out all of the coin?
Fuck that, that is straight scamming and using your coin to make up for what they lost in the vitality of bitcoin. Bitcoin fluctuations are a part of of the dnm business and they should simply take it as a lost. Name and shame this prick and start a dispute and request a mod refund the coins or ban the vendor for scamming. The fact that he says there is nothing he can do after you already sent coin to him is bullshit. He needs to refund you or send the amount of product that the coin was valued at the time.
