What do i need to do/know to use this as drop?

So my friend recently got a job as a USPS mail carrier and i have a good general idea of how this would work, get a name and address of someone on his route ( preferably one of the last stops of the day he makes?) send "x" to said household and then have him take it home with him, simple as that?

Just wondering what else i should know in preparation for this operation.

Um straight up NO. Take it home with him? This would involve him stealing monitored mail and can land him in jail as it is a serious offense to steal mail. Seems as though you're all set for this operation but in my opinion, it's just plain stupid and you are endangering your 'friend' who you are clearly just taking advantage of.

This is the second thread to pop up with having an "inside man" at the post office and using a mail carrier to pick up their packs. Just to point out, maybe 3wks ago there was a post about a carrier being busted for this exact scenario as every monitored pack LE was looking at was on this guys route.

there have been a few posts about mailmen doing this exact thing and getting caught one even getting shot. http://www.wave3.com/story/31283250/postal-carrier-shot-for-keeping-drugs-he-delivered-on-his-route-tipsters-tell-feds

why not just have your friend leave them at the drop as he was just doing his job...And give u a call if its all safe and noone was investigationing....Because this sounds like a good idea expect the part where he takes the mail w him, thats dumb as fuck hah

What if the package enroute and his route got changed or he get sick? Package delivered to the drop.. person there will send it back or open it and find stuff and report to police and open a can of worms?

What else you should know? How about if you can get a cozy relationship with all the other mail carriers as I doubt only your friend would end up with that route every single day. I think I regularly have at least three or four different carriers on various days.

Otherwise, the random person you select for fake address could end up with your pack(s). I think you should just address them to yourself and enjoy having a likely cool carrier at least sometimes.
