What happens now?

So, if alphabay was shutdown by LE, and all these arrests are really admins and vendors from AB, what does this mean for bigger vendors moving to other markets? Could they potentially get profiled using evidence on AB?

Posting here because of slight relevance to potentially help future vendors. Here's a few things that I noticed before the shutdown.

Less than a week before the shutdown I received a message asking for 250 ecstasy pills. I let them know I only had a small quantity remaining and they bought the rest of my stock. I regret sending the pack because I was highly suspicious that they were LE. They were from a well known city, with an account 2 months old, a stereotypical Mexican name (LE is racist), and after I sent the package I noticed they had spent over 200 BTC ($500,000.) They continued to log in but never finalized the order even though it definitely arrived a couple days prior.

I believe this was a LE tactic to collect as many packages as possible before they shutdown the server to dry out as much from vendors as possible. The post that was made yesterday about an Alphabay flaw that allowed orders to be made without sending coins through the API leads me to believe the 200 BTC spent was non-existent.

Let this be a notice for vendors on what can be considered suspicious and a potential indicator of when a market is going to get dropped by LE. I saw the warning signs and considered my OPSEC capable of handling LE. Little did I know LE had a bigger plan to simply steal my stock.

Maybe. That's why opsec is so important.

I think you may be on to somethin. I wonder if any of the vendors thought about this? You should message them all and double check

It's nice that you want to have a discussion but please use your brain and make sense.
