Late priority Package; strange tracking.

Hopefully someone can ease my mind, because my mind is racing with thoughts of the worst case scenario playing out.

I've been waiting on a priority shipment sent out Wednesday, that still hasn't arrived. I've done previous business with the vendor very recently and I received the package in 2 days the last time.

The vendor refused to check tracking originally, but considering this is the 6th day, he finally checked it and told me that the tracking shows no information. He suggested that maybe the label fell off? And to wait until tomorrow to see if it shows before he'll offer a reship. This just seems very strange to me and I've never had this happen before.

What could have happened? And how should I act accordingly? I have been anxious all day.

Thank you for your answers.

Maybe the vendor never sent that shit. Did you FE? Decent vendor?

so it's been three business days. chill out. if you don't get it, you don't release the funds from escrow, and voila, it's fine.

The vendors behaviour is stranger than not receiving your parcel when it's only been three business days, four if you get Saturday deliveries.

Some people are borderline superstitious about not checking tracking, but that's a pretty shitty reason to give for why tracking shows no information. I've only had this happen to me one time and I told the buyer I genuinely had no idea why their tracking would not update (99% sure I used the correct name and postage) and I ended up re-shipping. USPS is being really shitty right now especially if you prepay and don't have receipts for your shit.

EDIT: I was a bit freaked out because that same batch of packages had three other packages not update at all until they were basically out for delivery 5 days later without updating tracking at all. Very confident it was a problem with USPS and not me.

a vendor suggesting that the label fell off after denying you access to teh tracking is major red flags. dude didnt send it. bottom line. or he sent it untracked like a jew
