Important reminder for buyers sending "Christmas baskets" during the holidays

As we get closer to the holidays, I have seen more and more of my customers placing repeat orders and then when i go to process them I notice I'm sending concentrate to the same person, in 3 different states. I myself and most vendors are smart enough to mention it to buyers before shipping and letting them know the risk of this, some are not, and that is where the responibility of being an educated DNM buyer falls upon you.

If you are sending a care pack to a loved one that does not have the same last name as you, show them some love and send it to THEIR name, the same name they receive all their other mail with. It is ever so kind of you to send drugs to your girlfriend in the other corner of the US, but I can assure you that by sending mail to her dorm under your name, will add a very high chance of your pack getting intercepted(most likely by school, not by USPS).

Using fake names is never okay and never will be okay, I'm not sure why buyers still do this. Use the name that all your other mail has on it at that address, if you dont live there or dont regularly receive mail there, dont send it there with a different name.

Happy holidays

Unfortunately this will probably fall on deaf ears.

/r/darknetmarketsnoobs might be a more target audience, but odds are the people making this big of an opsec blunder don't frequent reddit.

Noob here, so someone feel free to explain this to me.

I can understand how sending the package to a school under a fake name could get suspicious, but what about a buyer just having a package sent to their home? If I live in a small city and live in a house with four other twenty-something year old guys, and we all share the rent, why would it be in my best interest to use my real name? Couldn't I just send it to "John Smith" (not literally John Smith, but just a made up common name), and then I haven't implicated myself to the package?

I only ask this because it would seem intuitive to me that I wouldn't want to have drugs sent to myself under my real name. Using a fake name would seem like Step 1 in not getting caught.

People breed stupid people - you can't fix stupid.

They're using a fake name in case you get busted and you're keeping records of every sale you've made(This has happened).

I've used a set of fake names so often on mail that I think using my real name would likely get more scrutiny, to play devil's advocate. I don't even use my real name on EBay or Amazon or anything like that. Never have that I can remember, not in the past 15 years at least.

There can be multiple name named people living in the country at the same time, I don't recall that being made illegal :) But yeah the common point of origin (you) might draw some extra eyeballs but I mean for all anyone knows your boy is on a road trip or something.

It's not so cut and dry really. But a better idea to just avoid the potential mishap, ultimately.

It's funny as fuck to me when people are like, "I should use a FAKE NAME!" as if they just thought of it.

There are some things I consider fundamental about being a buyer and it always surprises me when some people don't understand. Maybe it's ignorance, maybe it's stupidity, I don't know. It's not for me to say.
