What are your suggestions for the new darknet Marketplace?

Hello Reddit community, I'm a former programmer, and admit fairly, sometimes like to smoke marijuana, I use the marketplace on tor to buy it, but I would like to open a my marketplace, and I would like to know your opinion, What would you like to see in the new marketplace on tor?

Let's create marketplace which will be liked by everybody, and buyers and sellers.

All suggestions I will try to perform.

Thank You.

Hello,

Just don't be too high while programming, always thing about security, test, and test again.
We really don't think that this community needs a new marketplace, but if you're going to join us, please take care of your users security, thanks.

Well the obvious responses are "everything through gpg" or "security security security" and so on. These suggestions are really important, but they aren't very aspirational and reflect pretty low expectations.

I would like to see a market that can actually promote itself to a mainstream audience, that offers multiple cryptocurrencies and that still offers traditional escrow but actually takes the time to design and deploy it properly.

Attracting new drug users is not just vital for market and vendor profit margins, its vital for our own anonymity, and by implication security. If 1,000,000 people are using the dnm to buy and sell drugs we're a pretty small group; relatively easy to marginalise and stigmatize. If 100,000,000 people are using the dnm then we're a lot damn harder to beat, from a technical, political and ideological perspective. If law enforcement or governments are looking to use a particular group as a scapegoat, they will be sure to pick one that can't answer back. I believe the markets are largely responsible for the objective of making themselves mainstream as they are among the primary beneficiaries. A new market needs to think about how it will brand itself to a suspicious clearweb audience.

Multiple cryptocurrencies could really benefit the dnm scene. Right now we have a bitcoin monoculture which is risky. If something goes wrong with bitcoin that could leave a lot of shit exposed. Also crytpanalysis against bitcoin is a very plausible threat, which should not be dismissed and may become trivial in the future. A more diverse system of paying for drugs is in everyones interest.

While a lot of people dislike it traditional escrow provides two major benefits which multisig cannot currently compete with: It lowers the barriers to entry and it can be used to obscure coin trail while multisig can leave vendors exposed (something BBMC pointed out). Multisig is difficult for noobs and tiresome for vendors who have to spend time explaining it. While it would be nice if people could just do their homework before buying drugs (both proverbially and practically) it is not a realistic expectation. We need to get people involved first, show them how much fun it is and then get them learning about good opsec. Again, the market must at least be participating in this.

Multisig is great but it cuts out the market mixing pool which can be the best way to anonymize coins. Of course all the coins that come out of the market are going to be dirty, but they will be someone elses dirty coins and not yours and you can go about the process of cleaning them. Relying on mixers, seperate from the marketplaces, creates a single point of failure. Market escrow adds a little redundancy for vendors in case the mixer is compromised or fucks up. Again this is the responsibility of any new market, and they should spend a lot of time thinking about bitcoin because if they don't it will be their achilles heel.

I am new to all this stuff (As in learned about it this morning). Even though i am in IT haha) I am in Texas and just want a safe way to get decent marijuana. So I would look for security, reliability, and ease of use for new people. Because right now I am way over my head trying to figure all this shit out lol.

Sorry, I like my market to be run by carders and large criminal organizations and not some middle aged, retired, pseudo-pot head programmer.

I'd like to see a marketplace where PGP is banned, rather than enforcedCustomers and vendors need to communicate with something newer, easier to use and better, OFF the marketplace server.

Listing photos have to be taken by the vendor, of his own stock, renewed weekly, and time-stamped by piling the drugs on a newspaper or next to a mobile phone showing the date and time.

The most-important feature of a marketplace is as a coin-mixer, to prevent particular wallets being tied to particular drug transactions. So it needs to be a central escrow. None of this stupid multisig individual pipeline escrow nonsense that reddit users with Aspergers think is a great idea, because they think software is more-trustworthy than humans. Even though humans write it.
