How much do you trust reviews of vendors out there?

[NOTICE - For some dumb reason, this was posted as a Vendor Review. I guess the auto organization, whatever system, saw Review & Vendor together and auto sorted this out]

Isn't the number one rule of life not to trust anyone?

I've been really concerned about OPSEC, and scams, and what not when choosing to buy from a vendor, even those underdogs who are currently making their name. And I'm not even looking to buy anything big - just a gram of weed. Not getting an answer from a vendor about a question is sometimes worrying if the person is legit or not. Being here on reddit has helped a little, but I always seen to be taking steps back

So, how much do you guys (first time buyers, big shots, etc.) trust reading reviews? I can imagine for other first time buyers, they are sharing the same problems I am. And for those DNM Veterans, you guys probably all have your people and it's not as much of a hastle anymore...

Always take reviews with a grain of salt.

I remember on one of my first few sales one of my customers said that my stealth needed work. He ordered 25 bars of Xanax domestically and suggested I should pose as a computer parts distributor and fill the package with cables. Apparently MBB, vacuum sealing, and another visual barrier wasn't enough.

In the end, I also decided to start selling computer cables so check out my listings.

GODDAMN RIGHT OP, I've had best friends betray me over money and drugs.

The way to stay clear of scams is to never do FE, but lots of vendors have FE deals and some good vendors are FE only. What I recommend is to base your selection off of vendor reviews on reddit only, not the reviews on Alpha Bay, Abraxas, Nulceus, etc. Also check the user reviewing the product, lots of shills.

How not to get scammed Don't FE, Don't order anything other than domestic, Watch for vendors with a lot of good reviews on reddit that have been around for awhile, and if the deal is too good to be true, it is.

It all depends on the reviewer, man. After you try things a few people recommend then you will find out who is who and what is what. Never make a huge buy with a vendor you do not personally trust. Just remember... if you do get scammed it is normally no one's fault but your own.

A review is something that someone else wrote. You know nothing more and how much you trust it is up to you. It could be anyone from the vendor themselves or one hyperactive squirrel writing all the reviews.

It is also possible the reviews are from other buyers.

Never FE. I've come to find small to mid sized vendors to be good to their word. I also don't share those vendors names with others because I'm greedy.

Throwaway or not, you can tell alot about a review by how it's written. The ones that always strike me as being from shills are the ones that seem to be overly dramatic. Like they're written by literary students. Usually they don't say anything negative at all. Usually there's something to gripe about with an order. Not enough to warrant a less than 5/5 feedback, but something that would be noted in a real review... maybe a handwritten address, never marked shipped, came a day late, 10mg short... something like that. The quantity of similar reviews from others counts too. One good review shouldn't inspire trust in a vendor. And feedback is virtually useless with all the 5/5 fe shit taking up space. It's better than no feedback at all, but shouldn't be trusted.

Sketchy.. I have personally been "bribed" by a vendor to put a 5 star rating and get extra on next order, and who knows how many vendors do this?
