I'm a fucking idiot, sent unencrypted address

So i copy my address from my text file and then encrypt my address, well i thought i copied the PGP message after it was encrypted but i didnt so when i pasted it into my order on AB it was my unencrypted address. I promptly sent a message to the vendor told him the mistake and hopefully he cancels this transaction so i can redo it, this time encrypted...

I know the messages have been leaked and all comms should be encrypted but would a canceled order be in any of those leaks if they happened in the future?

EDIT: Okay so the vendor promptly cancelled the order and actually tried to help me if i didnt understand encryption. Stand up vendor. messaged back within an hour and actually tried to help? This vendor will be receiving all my personal L business

I thought it was only messages that got leaked, but I haven't read much about it. I can't see them storing the addresses on the server after the vendor has marked the item shipped/opened the order.

Are you a small time buyer? If so, I wouldn't worry much about it, but maybe make a new account so your name isn't tied to that username just in case it did get saved somewhere.

You'll be fine

honest opinion? maybe 75% to 90% safe. There's always a chance that your vendor will be busted in the very near future or already is busted and LE gain access to his account but not PGP keys......Or that the market is compromised. What's the real likelihood of that? It happens on the regular, but.......you're more likely safe than not safe. Also, my worry would depend on how much you're ordering. Reasonable personal use, or obviously for resale? Even if a vendor was compromised, would LE realllllllly go after you for a gram of weed? It costs them a lot of money to do a bust, and they don't have an unlimited supply of that........but they do get free money from civil asset forfeiture........but that doesnt work on broke people.... lol....

Also, food for paranoia: Even if you encrypt it, and your vendor gets busted in.....the next 2 weeks..............

I'm not saying youre definitely safe. But i am saying you're less safe in general than you think you are..... ;P~

Let this be a lesson to triple check twice.

Extremely low probability that something bad will actually happen to you bc of this one-time fuq-up, just don't get in the habit of doing it
