I tracked mail to my burnt address

Story time, swim regularly orders... (I'm fucking with you), I regularly order large quantities of speed paste, MDMA and coke to various drop addresses.

I have access to a large ever growing network of drop address spread across a good network of post codes in QLD through my job and so far I've been having amazing success rates, until the last two months.

I recently had an order of 100g of coke go missing, track and trace says delivered but it never came, burnt address, ate the loss moved on.

Ordered again, new address, same thing.

Ordered a third time, PO Box, different suburb and it fucking arrived.

Now I did a lot of reading up on customs and the police before getting into this game, 100g of coke would not be a "bin it and move on" it would involve the drops address being kicked in, two orders going missing, both delivered with no police action I'm suss as fuck.

So I spent $900 bucks on an in mail GPS tracker, put flour in an envelope seal it with the GPS in mylar and put it in a mail box over a hour away.

I tracked that package be routed to the sorting centre, to on route, then to the fuckers house after his shift, and then I arranged a visit (wearing a ski mask) recovered some of my stolen product (less then 25g), a couple of grand and gave him a talking to.

Moral is, if you are doing bulk orders to risky countries, $900 bucks isn't the worst deal for safety - Vendors give me this as an option!

Straya cunt

[20 Points] DNMthrowaway__:

Add on. I was prompted to do this as a few of my normal legal packages had tears, or had been opened and resealed.

[17 Points] davaunte:

I hope this is real, fuck em sticky fingers

[14 Points] None:

Why the mask? Is there CCTV? I think they'll know who it is lol.

You can't trust that cunt again, with drugs or silence. As soon as you said about the 2nd drop I knew where this was headed. They don't fear you enough haha.

OP = OG.

[9 Points] orevilo:

Of all the crazy stories I've read on here, I hope this one is true the most. This is fantastic.

[11 Points] ddeuced:

sounds like enough of the coke and speed was getting through to OP, maybe not enough of the mdma...

[8 Points] RaveTurkey01:

Next time I'm in Brisbane lets get coked up and go for beers

I love this idea - thanks for sharing this.

I'm also wondering if there's a cheaper solution, or what were the reasons you went with the $900 product. This kind of protection would only make sense when you're buying maybe $4k+ of drugs (and I'm assuming you're talking USD here). Here, for example, is a $130 product called "Spark Nano GPS":

http://www.brickhousesecurity.com/product/spark+nano+gps+tracking+device.do

Battery life: "two weeks or more under normal use (~1 hour a day), and with motion-activated tracking, you won't waste any battery life when your target isn't moving."

Dimensions: (L x W x H) 65 x 38 x 20 mm

Weight: < 100 g

There are a few others in the $200-300 range - search for "battery powered GPS tracker". Could those be used in place of the device you bought?

Jesus, thats fucking crazy. But 100g of coke? thats a lottt of coke

Edit: So was it the postal worker or the vendor that pocketed it?

[5 Points] octomarvel:

playing knifey spooney with postman pat? Honestly, beautiful work op. Bravo!

Also the GPS tracker is a great idea for big ass orders. No tracing, no opsec breaking on the vendors side of things. Kinda wanna buy op a beer.

[3 Points] None:

How did they know what was in the package tho

[3 Points] None:

this is hilarious

[3 Points] nudeinmylivingroom:

I personally would never get violent with anybody especially as there is a risk of backlash however the way you pulled this off was very very well done. good on you but hopefully you didn't do too much damage to the poor man

[3 Points] PrinceKael:

Wait, so the post guy was taking your stuff? What was he doing with the drugs? This story sounds badass too, lol.

Just another question though, what the hell do people mean when they refer to drop addresses? I know it's an address that isn't linked to you, but how to you retrieve it and not have others take it? Is it a friend/relative/someone you know? Do you pay a guy to use their address? Or is the house abandoned or something?

This part confuses me.

[2 Points] Axaq:

You best be fucking with me too, I was so ready to blast you SWIM

[2 Points] nox1cous:

Slow clap Well played OP, well fucking played.

[2 Points] MadeToReview:

real or not, thats fucking badass.

[2 Points] izza123:

I am much more inclined to believe you are 16 and cried when your package didn't arrive.

[1 Points] Realitybytes_:

Interesting idea, would only work to see if you shit was seized or stolen... Assuming the battery lasts the several weeks in customs.

Can you link the gps you brought?

It's a little warm for a ski mask this time of year, don't you think?

[1 Points] None:

I have a similar thing to have to accomplish in the future. It may or may not happen. Ignorance, one can't fix it.

[1 Points] Interversity:

You should clarify whether the person you found to be stealing your shit was the postman or your associate who picked up drops.

[1 Points] _Corpus-Delicti_:

Whether or not the story is true, this is an awesome idea for bulk orders.

[1 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

I guess you could pick up a cheap little used android phone with GPS, a pre-paid SIM, and track it yourself They're good too for bitcoin wallets, security cameras, or if you're boiling stuff in the lab during "American Dad", and you can use an old phone's camera to watch it boiling in the lab without going back and forth to check it doesn't boil dry.

Vendors who do an especially large international bulk order for a customer could offer it for an extra $100 with an old mobile phone in it for the customer to watch on the map.. There are surveilance apps that send you a photo if they detect movement. If the package gets opened by customs, you would receive a photo of the customs worker holding scissors!

[1 Points] weekendoffender:

My dad's a postie down in NSW. The stories he's told me about his time working in Sydney depots has me not doubting this story at all.

Glad to see your got some money back, hope you didn't hurt the dude though.

[0 Points] None:

Hell yea!

[0 Points] rogueXleader:

This is a much better idea than my rigging my mailbox to explode when tampered with...
