We'll just go to different markets. Maybe we'll start being more cautious with markets and not just opsec.

Multisig is the answer however 2of3 multisig isnt, TheMarketPlace tried to force it and it died, Evo offered it and no one used it, many market failures have gone down since 2of3 became possible and no one cares enough to use it, amazons 1-click purchase patent is a testament that the winner is the lowest barrier to entry.

The answer is 2of2 multisig between vendor and market, the buyer doesnt really benefit from multisig, would not go out of their way to learn it, and definitely would not go out of their way to locate and undergo the complicated steps to finalize should the site go down. 2of2 solves this by preventing the market from stealing funds without the vendors consent, if the site goes down it wont be because it had a big cashpile. Vendors may lose their escrow all the same but it wouldnt be any different than if the buyer held a key and didnt make any attempt to jump through hoops to locate and pay the vendor, which is evidently what were seeing here. And of course the vendor is accountable to the market, so if they decide to scam their customers not only would they not get their funds they would have to agree to refund the customer or have their account terminated, an win-win for the entire purpose of escrow.

I'm going to seriously consider dealing directly with vendor of market...i've been trying to build relationships with vendors and I'm one to FE after a couple successful transactions, Especially if vendor doesn't ask for it.. I still get creeped out by vendors who ask
