I sometimes get lazy and just press encrypt on alphabay itself rather then using the pgp program thing and i've made an order with my adress without pressing encrypt so now my adress is just out there in the notes is this a minor mistake or have I messed up badly?
Dude, its a bad fucking mistake. Whether or not anything comes from it, who knows. All you know is that your info is sitting on a database of a highly illegal service. Feds, admins, or any other adversaries who gain access will have that clearly available. But like I said, nothing may come of it, but that's a shitty mistake.
Plus, let this be a lesson to NEVER use the market's encryption function. It seriously takes one command to encrypt yourself. Laziness isn't even an excuse. Its beyond lazy, my friend.
I absolutely despise that markets even have this functionality. For this very reason. User mistake on forgetting to check it OR vulnerability of their customer in the sense that you have to absolutely trust the market isn't storing that clear text somewhere. I think markets should all remove this checkbox b/c encrypting ain't all that hard.
