TXscrow
Professional escrow service for the dark web and peer to peer
markets. Keeping both parties safe and honest in an anonymous economy
so you can buy or sell with peace of mind knowing you are protected from
scams and theft, creating trust in an otherwise untrusted environment. We
will act as a mediator and can resolve disputes regardless of what
product or service is sold. No account or signup needed! This provides an
advantage to both buyer and seller. Sellers can increase sales since
customers are safe guarded from fraud. Customers benefit with the
additional security and confidence of protection.
Markets usually have escrow built in. But what is needed is an escrow
service that is not dependent on any market. This allows direct deals
between two people without need of market or account registration. This
flexibility allows many things including freelancing or selling of
products or services directly with each other. We are not a market
only escrow service. TXscrow also can setup to interact with merchant
websites. TXscrow plans on offering service on Open Bazaar also after
it moves to Tor.
Unlike other escrow services we exist soley on the darkweb and offer
secure ways to contact us to protect the security and economic freedom of
everyone involved. By existing only on the darkweb we are not confined
by the same regulations of what our service can be used for as with non
anonymous services. Currently on Tor with a .onion address and soon will
have an I2P address also.
In the original Satoshi whitepaper on bitcoin it was mentioned the need
of escrow systems to make bitcoin complete.
"Transactions that are computationally impractical to reverse
would protect sellers from fraud, and routine escrow mechanisms could
easily be implemented to protect buyers."
Satoshi Nakamoto, Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System
We like bitcoin for the ability it has to create a free market system
where people are not subjected to excessive taxes and surveillance
and control of what they can buy and sell. There is many parts of the
puzzle to make this dream possible. One piece of this is darknets as
the network. Another piece encryption as communication. The other piece
is bitcoin as the financial system. It is my goal to offer this service
to support the security and safety of transactions in bitcoin through
offering reliable and safe escrow service. In an anonymous economy plauged
with fraud and scams safety features such as escrow are needed for this
decentrlized economy to be successful.
TXscrow uses a unique multisignature escrow system. Each transaction
is protected by four keys and requires three keys to unlock.
Key 1 is controlled by payee.
Key 2 is controlled by payer.
Key 3 is the sha256 hash of the agreement between both parties or
completed order form.
Key 4 is controlled by TXscrow.
Having one of the keys as the sha256 hash of the agreement offers the
advantages of immutability and verification and privacy. Immutability
because if the agreement changes so does the multisig address.
Verification since the collision resistance of sha256 hash prevents any
other agreement details from producing the same hash. Privacy because
the hash does not reveal any details of the agreement. If there is a
dispute raised to TXscrow the agreement can be proved by matching it
against the hash.
TXscrow charges a small fee per transaction to incentivize our
availability and cover server costs. Escrow service does not require our
website to use. Only thing required is a bitcoin wallet that is capable
of standard multisig functions.
