Vendors, what are some common reasons that you cancel our orders?

I've had a few orders cancelled by the vendor recently, one was soon after I placed it, but one was cancelled AFTER the vendor had marked it shipped! Both times I got my money back of course, but neither time did I receive any communication, not a peep. Why does this happen? I can see why sometimes they'd refuse an order from new accounts or someone who hasn't bought shit before, but neither of these apply to me.

It'd be interesting to hear some thoughts from vendors on this.

I'd bet the vendor didn't have the product, and was hoping it would come in time?

Strange. We mark orders shipped after we print the address label. Sometimes it happens that we print the label, mark it shipped and only then find out that we dont have the product in stock, after which we usually contact the buyer/cancel the order. I assume thats what happened.

Another thing that might be; are you using a strange/fictive name or strange address? For example, if you use the name ''Pablo Esco'' as a fictive name, vendors might cancel your order because of opsec.

Only one reason we do it: not enough stock.

I always send a message and let them know why, though. Then take down the listing and update our profile.

If it's an obviously fake name, I just won't accept and message saying we need a real name.

I share black lists with other vendors- if you have had a bad experience with a vendor in my network I will cancel your order or make you FE. Try using a different username if you've fucked a vendor over in the recent past

Not reading the profile about international minimum orders, which countries we don't ship to, using wrong postage option (eg. the ones with a big UK infront being used by US customers), really bad address formatting has been a reason a few times. Generally all things that are explained in the profile.
