The last 2 years raids were around this time, weren't they?
Must be some big reporting period that ends in October or November, lol. The paper-pushing prison-populators probably need something to show their bosses soon, no?
Will we see another round of darknet market raids by LE this fall?

I hope they just leave us the fuck alone.. :/

Guys Operation Onymous was less than a year ago and you all think that the FBI et al have given up? Don't be so complacent. The low hanging fruit will continue to be pruned and occasionally the biggest, juiciest fruits at the top of the tree will be picked up too. And the only way that will stop is if we continue to decentralize.
I really hope none of you are running Abraxas.

They need to justify their budget once a year. But they may have focused all their dirty tricks on Ross' trial this year.
[1 Points] Hank_Vendor:
that depends if a market takes a large enough portion of the trade that its potential assets outweigh the cost of busting it.
and of course that depends on which market it is and how much is woukd cist to defeat their level of security.

They probably just do what feels right man? However it falls in their laps. They're people too, not that they're not trained and all that, but they probably just go where the information tells em man.

People are going to fucking hate me for saying this but: It was cool back in SR1 and even Sheep because there was 1 or 2 marketplaces that everyone went to. Now, anyone can configure a site and add wordpress and have a fully functional marketplace overnight. Here's where I sound crazy:
It may actually be good if we see some market seizures. Right now, there are 21 Marketplaces and 37 vendor shops. When some vendors go to one market and some go to another everything gets spread out, and people have to go through more effort than anyone wants to to find the vendor of their choice. My point is that there needs to be one market that everyone goes to (Better than Alphabay like really lol). Even if it means some peoples marketplaces go down. If they are running a marketplace they should be smart enough to not get raided even when their site goes down. Don't even fucking get started about how a site has never been seized without the physical computer blah blah bullshit look at doxbin. Bit of a rant but it's the truth.
Don't bet on it. LE blew their wad with Silk Road. In due time, SR1 (arrest of admins) will prove to be the exception rather than the rule, mostly because Ross turned out to be a naive idiot who lived in the United States.
LE were all but powerless to do anything with Evolution. Same with Agora. Same with any of the current markets, which have existed for anywhere between 6 months and over a year. The fact is, when coded properly, it is next to impossible to pinpoint who is running these services. Even if it was possible, there are more than a few countries who simply don't care enough about this kind of activity. If Abraxas or whatever is run out of Russia or similar, theoretically they could operate unimpeded indefinitely.
