Stay Anonymous with Bitcoins via Coinstar

For the Americans who wish to stay as anonymous as possible whilst purchasing bitcoins, I suggest to you these steps:

  1. Acquire anonymous PayPal account (this shouldn't be too difficult for those already seeking anonymity.)

  2. Locate your local CoinStar machine. You can deposit cash directly into your PayPal from these machines, charging $3 for upto $300 and 6$ for above 300.

  3. With your money in your anonymous paypal, create an anonymous LBC account. Initiate a trade with a high volume PayPal seller with a quick turnaround time.

  4. Tumble your coins out of LBC wallet. Tumble coins into your DNM.

  5. Maintain proper networking OPSEC throughout, including the PayPal phase.

Acquire anonymous PayPal account

What?How?Where?

[4 Points] None:

  1. Pay an arm and a leg because anybody accepting paypal is going to bend you over and rape you on the price of btc.

Create two LBC accounts after you purchase your bitcoins and "sell" the coins from one account to the other. Since LBC has a built in tumbler the coins you get will actually be from another LBC user, effectively cleaning them.

coinstar in my area doesnt support paypal.

It's really too bad that any lbc sellers that are selling btc for paypal charge twice as much as the coins are actually worth. If 1 BTC costs $350, you're going to be spending $700 on that coin. Soooo not worth it. Even if it does give you a little bit of extra anonymity.

Wouldn't cash deposit via LBC be just as anonymous? I guess you could argue that banks have cameras and that could capture you. You could do greendot cards as well? The problem is that the premium for anything except cash deposit or maybe in-person are extremely high. I remember looking at the various preloaded cards on LBC months ago, I think BTC was around like $550 or so and the various prepaid cards were like $750. I saw some approaching $900! WTF! Insane! Cash deposits were around $575, maybe $600 at worst.

Some decent points but...most coinstar machines have 1-2 overhead security cameras if they get your face on those cam's they can run it thru facial recognition software. Goodbye anonymity if you have a driver's license.
