I can't tell if my mail is being profiled or not-Help?

I'll start off by saying I haven't actually ordered anything from the markets/anything remotely suspicious at all to my home address yet. However I very recently got some Bitcoin and I am looking into making a very small purchase. But I got thinking today about it, whether I really want to go through with it, and remembered an incident from a few months back. I had ordered a necklace from someone online and was tracking the shipment. I noticed that it was sent from the sorting facility out to delivery in the wrong town-and I thought that was very strange. A day or two passed and, like I thought would happen, the shipment was rerouted to my town/address and arrived. It was a small bubble lined Manila envelope and I noticed the shipping label had been printed in some weird "fun font" for whatever reason (which may have raised suspicion?) On one side, if I can remember correctly, was a red stamped marking that said "accepted". This and the fact that the package had been mysteriously led astray for an extra day or two got me thinking-had they inspected this because they thought it looked suspicious?? At the time it was no concern, I had a few laughs with friends about it and moved on. Then the other day I receive another item- This time a small blown glass pipe I got off etsy. It arrives a day late, not too unusual, but almost completely sealed in masking tape all around. This very well could have been the way it was shipped out, but I wanted to see if any of you know if this is possibly a sign of inspection. Finally I did mail something to a hotel I was staying at that contained questionable items, however whatever happened to it is completely unknown but it WAS apparently marked as delivered with no problems, disappearing shortly after or perhaps never having been sent at all. So no incidents with that as far as I know, but it was sent via a different carrier.

Would you guys say it sounds safe to ship what I'm planning to order? (About 4 grams of weed if you need to know) I CANNOT afford to get in any trouble. Does it sound like they may be watching my mail? I do have a lot of text conversations/clearnet internet searches regarding drugs but it seems highly unlikely that anyone would be bothering to read through those, the very thought seems super paranoid. Also, if they do catch the 4 grams will they just confiscate since its tiny, or pursue further legal action? (I live in the U.S, in a state where it is not decriminalized.) Thanks.

Put down the meth pipe and step away slowly

I think your to paranoid to order off DNM's. Out of the billions of letters and packages they are watching your etsy order. Think about it for a minute.

4 grams of weed. I personally dont think this is on anyones list of priorties. No idea location but in 30+ states, numerous cities this is like jay walking. Ignoring the federal laws broken.

[2 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

No. You're not sending mail out to be profiled.

By "mail profiling", it's a theoretical possibility that packages sent by a particular vendor could be identified in transit.

But there are millions of items a day, all in standard mass-produced envelopes. Profiled? Change to white or light blue or brown.

It's the vendor equivalent of a "dirty bomb". Something to worry about that never happens (unless a terrorist sends a germ warfare agent to the whitehouse)

Dude if you're this paranoid DNMs might not be the place for you

"I had a few laughs with friends about it" you and your friends are easily amused

Ok, ok everyone. Maybe I'm being a little paranoid, I apologise. I just have a helluva lot to lose and you can never be too careful is what I always go with. But thank you for your feedback- youve put my mind at ease a bit.
