We have a golden opportunity here, and most people are choking it away

Professionalism and communication, two of the most basic human traits, are increasingly more difficult to find in vendors. This is heaven for vendors, why are they fucking it up? From my experiences, the markets having been taking a fucking nose dive in the last 6-9 months. Quality and price should be the top factors, but clown vendors continue to lie about the quality and actual contents of their products. It's getting to the point where if my go to guys are not available, I will not even waste my time with a new vendor. For the customer to reach the point where he would rather not even waste his time says a lot about the state of the markets. Drugs have been in most cities and societies long before the internet, and if the vendors don't get their shit together then the online markets will simply go under. It's truly frustrating as a long term customer to see the quality, professionalism and price of vendors and their products sadly moving too fast in the wrong direction. Yeah, we're talking to you clown vendors, hawking research chemicals as "the real deal", pricing H and coke to over $150-200/gram, the most despicable weed and concentrates vendors imaginable who make the black dudes in the city center look like Tony Montana. This is a fucking joke how the vendors do business.

Not to mention the absolute price-gouging on prescription opiates. I do enjoy them from time to time and they help with a spinal injury, but I can't justify spending $60+ on a pill

In short, money -> greed -> unscrupulous business tactics.

The long answer? Okay, check it out. Imagine that you own a landscaping business, Trusted Landscapers, Inc. Your company prides itself on honestly, professionalism, customer service, and above all else, quality. The majority of your clients have been loyal customers for years, and business is doing pretty well. Your employees take great pride in their work, as is evident in the results they deliver.

You use only the best tools and equipment, source your vegetation from top-quality suppliers with genetically superior plants, and your vast selection of grass seed offers far better variety than the brick-and-morter hardware stores. Additionally, you only hire workers with experience and a proven track record; to attract the best of the best, you offer a starting hourly wage roughly $2 higher than any of your regional competitors, along with paid vacation/sick hours and your company pays 85% of your workers' healthcare premiums. However, quality comes at a cost. Your profit margins are roughly 12%; acceptable for you and your department heads, but roughly half of your industry's average. No problem for Trusted Landscapers, Inc., as greed has no place in your company.

So along comes Yardmasters, LLC., a small and lean landscaping startup that boasts similar quality at 60% of the average regional cost for landscaping service. They begin undercutting your competitors, whose prices are already cheaper than your own. Yardmasters, LLC. sources all of their products and equipment from Chinese horticulture laboratories. They also employ illegal immigrants, saving them money on payroll, payroll taxes, and healthcare costs. As the majority of their workers have less experience, they often work 14 and 16-hour days to get jobs done. Yardmasters, LLC. also appears to yield quality work - not the same as Trusted Landscapers, Inc., but just close enough to entice 75% of your clientele into answering high-pressure sales calls. Of the 75% that answer, 70% set up a meeting and 65% sign a new landscaping contract. As a result, Trusted Landscapers, Inc. must increase their cost of service significantly to maintain a somewhat respectable profit margin.

Fast-forward 5 years: Yardmasters, LLC. essentially has dominated the market for landscaping service in your region. However, many of their clients are now noticing that the quality of work has sharply declined, customer service is non-existent, and a large portion of vegetation (again, sourced from China) is not resilient to local climate and diseases. This would be a great opportunity for Trusted Landscapers, Inc. to make a major comeback, but alas, the company could not sustain itself in the wake of Yardmasters, LLC.'s impossible pricing. As a result of Yardmasters, LLC.'s majority market share, the public's idea of what standards constitute "quality" landscaping service has also declined.

The price of quality goods increase as cheap alternatives enter the market. In this particular market, vendors of quality gear must resort to uncrupulous business practices (aka scams, exit scams) to build a huge nest egg of cash and bounce out of the game. Why? Because being an honest vendor with quality products at reasonable prices is not a sustainable business model over the long term.

Edit, as I missed my original point:

Business is a lot like government in the sense that everyone could benefit from full cooperation, but nobody wants to compromise. This mentality will always separate the honorable from the dishonest in a rather unfair way. Having followed the DNM movement for the better part of 3 years, I've found that underhanded business practices are applied regularly (much like the real world). Every opportunity to gain an edge over the competition is taken, regardless of the morality. Eventually, this leads to the honest vendors raising prices, exit scamming, or occasionally just boxing up their last orders and leaving the game. Realistically, what financial incentive do they have to continue playing fair when so many others got ahead by cheating? Anonymity only exacerbates the issue and reduces the timeline.

I have to side with the people who insist that the community has changed since its conception. Markets (the economic sense of the word) evolve as they grow in volume, because to remain stagnant all but ensures failure - especially in an environment like this.

Let's not fool ourselves into thinking that vendors aren't in it for the money. Whether it begins that way or not, eventually vending turns into a business with overhead, deadlines, and profit margins. There's nothing wrong with that in my opinion, but to believe otherwise is simply naive.

In closing, I have to give a major shoutout to every vendor and market admin that left the game on good terms. You guys give me a small glimmer of hope for humanity.

Damn, what a wall of text I've created.

[11 Points] ShulginsCat:

but clown vendors continue to lie about the quality and actual contents of their products.

Part of this clowning is due to Chinese suppliers fucking things up for no particular reason other than plain incompetence. The vendor remains accountable for what you buy, while the supplier cannot be blamed, chased down or even reviewed. I don't know if this applies to every drug and every situation, but at least to some extent this shit show isn't all their fault.

Also, markets coming and going is always going to be a problem until we adopt multisig everywhere. Every time a market exit scams we lose some vendors, and those who stay are more likely to also exit scam in order to even things out for themselves.

[7 Points] DnmAvenger:

I agree with you on most of this. There are good vendors left out there though. I have a few go to guys that have yet to let me down. Canatreats, BlueViking, I like CX000 and have never had an issue other than longer shipping than I'd like sometimes, downtherabbithole, righteous is a good guy (even good vendors have bad things happen), traphouse is legit as hell if you can buy orders at his level now, and I know there are others.

I will be naming a few new trusted vendors in the coming weeks if things go well for me. I try new vendors all the time. It is a very fun but sometimes frustrating thing to do, but someone has to try them. I have had a lot of great deals and met a lot of cool people in doing this.

Now I just need a reliable MDMA vendor (not US unless prices are around $20 a g. LOL at that shit). MDMA vendors have been lollygagging lately and it is pissing me off. Why is it so hard to follow through on an order for some vendors? They don't have to have Amazon speed, but I like honest updates and arrival estimates. Not just some arbitrary bullshit estimates to get my hopes up only to have to go into resolution and get refunded. If they are selectively scamming why the hell would they choose me to scam. They should know I will try to nail their balls to the wall if they fuck me over. I don't give a shit if they do have my address. I may regret that one day, but it is the principle of it all for me. I hate liars and deceivers. I am talking about BlackFriday and Dr.Xavier by the way.

[9 Points] Sluisifer:

Blame the market; if there's competition, they'll compete on price and quality. Clearly demand is outstripping supply.

If you think it should be different, perhaps you could try being a vendor and making that easy money.

[5 Points] AndAnotherOne01:

I agree. A problem I have seen since I started playing orders is that it is always apparent that I'm dealing with drug dealers than a legitimate transaction. Everything happens in "drug dealer time" just like it did when I was buying in person. You message them and it's a day or two before they respond. When you place your order it's a day or two before it ships, just like it was an hour or two before your dealer even left his house, then it's anywhere from 3 days to more than a week for it to arrive, just like you never had any idea when your dealer would actually show up. Or if he would even remember to. I think if someone showed up with more of an actual business focus on customer service, communication, and customer experience that they would really stand out. I personally have no problem buying the lower quality product if the price is at least still a good value and an extra-effort vendor would make me a long time customer.

[3 Points] 27clubhereicome:

I'll take one for the team and respond to the Teach for America recruiters spamming my email. I'll teach the South or West Side youth in Chicago how to start vending and get 100/g boy and fairly priced girl onto the markets. Somebody do the same in DC and get PCP back on the market. Do it for the children.

[3 Points] stanley_twobrick:

Uhh, probably because they're a bunch of sketchy drug dealers.

[3 Points] Hank_Vendor:

vendors lie about their products because they don't do the drugs they have listed.

to be honest in my experience a huge percentage of drug takers can't tell good drugs from bad.. that probably doesnt help

[3 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

What country do you live in? And what's your drug of choice?

Opiates? This sort of "kids today don't understand the darknet" post is usually an angry opiates customer.

[2 Points] benfromgr:

Actually I feel this pain. After all the warning messages and bad reviews I've heard on here I decided to not even bother trying to go through the hassle to figure out how to move around the dark web to deal with vendors when I could just continue using my (although riskier I suppose) RL dealers.

[2 Points] None:

What's wrong with the black dudes in the city center?

[1 Points] ruthlessN2thless:

Yeah, I completely agree its so hard to trust a new vendor. Especially with lack of proper communication. Just an FYI the benzo market is pretty incredible right now. Several good vendors if that's your thing.

[1 Points] yofoe-throaway-yohoe:

I gotta agree with my man here. There are lots of vendors taking this opportunity for granted. But again they are mostly idiots with no other prospects in life. The fact that they can hide behind there little computers where they don't have to answer to anyone makes them feel like there peanut sized balls are the size of fucking grapefruits. Throw there new found sense of invincibility through anonymity with the most extreme form of capitalism and they can do whatever the fuck they want. You got vendors scamming customers and trying to screw over the competition and it got chaotic and unprofessional fast. You also have the shitholes that pretend to be legit for a couple months then do a massive exit scam. Then you got the vendors who list something and send you somthing else. WTF. In the real world, not behind the fucking computer these pricks wouldn't have the balls to look someone in the fucking eyes when talking to them or say hi to a fucking girl. Prices have gotten insane too, but thats just the market. I quit using DNMs a long time ago and just went to the doctors to get my shit. Should have won an oscar for the performance I put on to get what I needed. But yeah, fuck the vendors. But what do you expect from a bunch of drug dealers.

[1 Points] dikkkhead:

Many corporations are slow to embrace change, and adapt a proven business model far too late when viewed retrospectively.

There's a great many sellers of X product, that assumed only weirdos would order X product online.

They genuinely thought their business model was efficient and would continue. There is simply too much wastage in the supply chain with drugs.

There are already some large scale vendors, and some manufacturers already, cartels are logically next..

I think the old hippy Farmers Market types have a wistful, idealised version of exactly what is already going on.

If el_chapo from Mexico started selling kilos with escrow, it would quickly become a thing..

[1 Points] throwowOWoWoW0W:

WowoWOOWOwoowoOWOW. is this about jimmytightlips dmt on outlaw market? thats from Hedex im pretty sure. and hes fucking up let him know. i think he thought that was ok.

[1 Points] noonehear:

I concur. I was going to make a similar post along the lines of "A CALL TO ARMS". Without customers the vendors don't make money... so treat customers right. The good vendors are few and far between.

I walked into my USPS location and shipped out a package of non-DNM related stuff. Coast to coast sent Monday recieved Wednesday. Get your shit together vendors or us buyers will just go back to the streets / local vendors.

[1 Points] dabbmaster:

This is exactly what I was just thinking.

A vendor Im using sent me a message with my order I couldnt decrypt and I havent been able to get him to respond with the right details to the right order for days.

It takes a whole day to get a response and I have a feeling hes selectively responding. Pretty important message when youre trying to confirm your address cause you couldnt get your tracking info because of bad pgp.

[1 Points] None:

Drugs have been in most cities and societies long before the internet, and if the vendors don't get their shit together then the online markets will simply go under.

This will never ever happen. I will gladly pay 2x the worth of a product on the markets than I will the street. I will never go back to buying drugs off the street. NEVER. I know a lot of people like me as well.

[1 Points] J0NJ0NES:

From my experiences, the markets having been taking a fucking nose dive in the last 6-9 months.

Hmmm, maybe you could give specifics in back up your claim. Look, I don't know if markets/vendors are taking a "nose dive", but I do know that your broad generalization is almost completely worthless. And commenters should know this too. It's sad that so many of them are jumping on this band wagon without some thought.

This is why there is a review system. You can always ask this forum as well.

All part of dealing in a unregulated market. Blows my mind on how many people come here to rant about vendors -- expecting this to work like Walmart.
