What would you do with Serial Numbers?

They are used for warranty scams. Someone will take the number, call up Microsoft and say that the batteries burst and they threw it out. Microsoft will mail them a replacement. Normally you would have to mail the broken model in, but if you claim you got blood on it or battery acid or any other hazard they will just have you throw it out.

So i just tried it with Microsoft and it worked, i told them i dropped my tablet and it broke and i got all blood on it. the serial number i had didnt have extended warranty so i had to pay 300 dollars (on a gift card) for a replacement but the item is worth 1700 so its still awesome.

there is no point buying single serial numbers, you can buy programs that randomly generate multiple ones for different items, they also show as legit when given to the company because they have been generated with algorithms the original company used. So say you generate a serial number it is the actual serial number on the back of someones mouse. The guy selling them is most probably using astropid generator.
