A random tinfoil thought...

So, over the past few days I've encountered many new vendors across various markets. Many of these vendors have an exceptional looking product at reasonable (not too cheap) prices. All of their listings are escrow. Mostly bulk orders and only a few, if any feedback.

Here on the sub, there are reports of some of these vendors having great comms with users, until after they purchase, then very little or no comms. They never even ship a package. Because btc is in escrow, the OP's open disputes and get their money back.

My thought is this, could this be a new tactic employed by LE as a way to obtain buyer info? Are they tired of playing whack-a-mole with the markets and have now set their sites on buyers? Clearly with all the bust and seizures, they have switched gears.

I know this is better suited for tin foil Tuesday or on the paranoia sub, but the reply's wouldn't be as colorful as the one's givin by this fantastic group. Answering like the guy with big hair from "Ancient Aliens" is much appreciated.

Gotta keep your head on a swivel. Stay safe my peeps.

A good way to avoid this is stick with reputtable vendors who have been around for a bit and are FOR SURE sending out product that people are loving. Thats what I have done, and it hasnt failed me yet. Sometimes I want to try a new vendor but Its just not really worth it when their are so many clearly real quality vendors selling what I want

Just to add a little bit of foil, if you are someone who stores large quantities of valuable drugs somewhere, LE are not the only ones you should be worried about sniffing around for your info.

Anything is possible....but I think you give LE to much credit. I guess the FBI could hatch a plan like this....but damn, it would be a pain to prove that the person who's name is on the pack really did make the buy via the market. Always remember the first rule of DNM club.....Keep that mouth shut :-) Instead of going after buyers, it would be better for LE to go after the market or better the vendors.....

Are you sure lots of new vendors offer escrow on bulk, then don't send it? Because nobody goes straight to buying bulk amounts from a vendor without trying a smaller order first.

If your preposition is true, it could be that the vendor sold out much faster than he expected, and he's gone quiet because he's waiting for more stock to arrive / grow / finish cooking.

Drugs are a finite and valuable commodity which sell out quickly and a new vendor probably depends on the money from his first batch to pay for a second (larger) one. Its also human nature to talk to you more BEFORE making the sale than afterwards. There is nothing more annoying than a woman who wants to talk straight after sex, you know what I mean?

I'm usually asleep within seconds.

What you describe would be considered "entrapment" and wouldn't be sufficient evidence to get a search warrant. Nevertheless, its less tinfoily than most theories by customers and actually made me think.

Has this happened to buyers? Here's the thing: LE don't have time and budget to go after people with personal amount.

Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, haha, that dudes a boss. And yeah, that is a very scary though, It wouldnt be a bad idea for them to employ something like that, lets hope they dont read this post and have a lightbulb go off over their heads.

It actually wouldn't surprise me at all to see one of the 3 lettered agencies try this.

As more people learn about the dnm it only makes sense that more vendors would pop up. This is a good thing for recreational users as we get better products at better prices. However LE is always coming up with new ways to more effectively do their jobs so you have a good concern here. While its always nice to get an awesome deal from a new vendor, there is a risk there. I would leave this up as you make a good point.

I wonder about vendors that show off topic pictures as their products are they either LE or scammers. For one thing I don't think a LEA can legally advertise a product picture with what they say they claim to be selling. So they get around it by describing this wonderful illicit product and post a picture of daisies or some other off topic picture. If they posted a picture of what they said they were shipping I think it may be what is known as entrapment.

Just a thought.
