I need a more experienced opinion on how to feel about vendors without history.

So I ordered from a vendor on Agora who hadn't had any sort of history. No feedback, no order history, nothing but some listings. The account had been created 6 days ago. The vendor mentioned in his profile that they had had experience mailing drugs, but hadn't used the darknet up until now. I didn't FE the order, but they do have my mailing address now so they can hopefully ship the order. Should I be worried, or am I probably fine? I feel like I could've just sent my mailing address to LE. I should also note that the vendor was international, but not across any oceans.

Nothing wrong with a new vendor. I used to try newbies out all the time. I always looked at their profile and if it seemed stupid, naive, tryna be thug, I passed. I picked those who had semi-intelligent stuff on it and who seemed to want to build a biz. I often followed up with a message to feel them out. If that went well, then I took the plunge. I did like ordering for good newbies. The prices are better, they ship quick, and they tended to have a generous amount of extras. Just stay in escrow and if you've vetted the vendor, chances are good you'll have a good experience

You are fine. Worst case scenario is you have to file a dispute and wait to get your money. I have used about 5 vendors with little or no feedback just because I like to try new vendors. 4 out the 5 ended up being great. One was just ok as his product was not quite as described. Its the roll of the dice but if you didn't FE worst thing you might be out of is the time it takes to get that refund. As far as LE. I would say not LE. I would assume LE would at least fake a few feedback to make them look legit.

I thought coppers had to use an account that someone was already using. by the way, every vendor starts as a new vendor. hell, they might even have grand-opening deals.

newer the vendor, higher risk of it never showing up, I don't bother

There is obviously more risk when ordering from vendors with no feedback, but the risk is mostly of getting scammed not of buying from an LE puppet account. LE are not that invested in busting people buying small amounts of drugs for personal consumption, they are more interested in the big fish. One legit concern I would have with a vendor with little feedback though is their postage methods. Vendors that have been around for a long time and have shipped thousands of orders generally know what the fuck they are doing when it comes to this, I have bought from new vendors on the other hand that had absolutely terrible stealth that made the packages stick out like a sore tooth. That's one of the biggest reasons for me to buy from an experienced vendor.

I've always been too paranoid that they're LE, because really, what's to stop LE from making an account? Seems like an easy way to get a list of drug buyers.

But maybe I'm just paranoid

Renaming scammers can't bare to be viewed as inexperienced, even though they are pretending to be new on the darknet. If they mention some vague past experience, be careful.

With most scams, the first customers get a really good deal, so either way you should be OK.

Vendors need help getting started, and remember their early customers. My very first customer on Silk Road ordered from me yesterday. From Belfast.

I shipped then pressed "cancel" because I didn't know what I was doing,, but he paid up voluntarily anyway. I consider him good luck, so I put a little extra in for him.

Plausible deniability. You don't know who would put your information up on the internet like that! You are after all, a law abiding denizen of the world.

Pay a few extra dollars but go with trusted vendors. Is jail time really worth saving a few bucks?
