USPS Love Letter- variant?? Weird

Ok, so I got a registered love letter followed by one that arrived in the mail. State the package was mailed from was California, and the whole drop that day was burned. Idiot sender used hand written Express Labels and even worse dropped a bunch of them with $22 stamps in a blue mailbox. Two miles north of the Mexican border. Now, this had been going on for years like this, hundreds of envelopes, until my luck ran out. It was pharmas FYI. Well disguised pharmas. So my letters were the same as others I've seen EXCEPT my letters say in 30 days the package will be opened and whatever's illegal inside will be discarded and then the rest of the package will be mailed on at that point.

So, they didn't open the package yet? I guess the dogs aren't smelling the pharmas? Or, are they just profiling the packages and fishing out letters and seeing if you'll respond? Other weird thing- my love letter came from the Midwest- USPIS . I won't say the city, but it's big and in the central time zone. 1000 miles from me. WTF is going on here?

I'm considering my address to be burned, but could I open a UPS box or something in my name? Is my NAME burned locally or just my addy? Thanks in advance

Oh, and this wasn't a dark web arrangement. It was email arranged from SY if any of you are old school you'll remember those web page days.

that love letter sounds like the seller is getting profiled. they probably discovered the contents of 1 package and then linked all the others that were in transit (including yours). don't respond. just consider your address burned.

as far as your name being burnt, i doubt it but i think it depends how unique your name is. to be safe, open a business mailbox at a mom n pop mailbox store and get packs sent to your business name for now on.

I've wondered the same.. can a name get burned or?

Almost certainly profiled, this has been a hot zone for many years and the authorities know that. SYs have always been shady, I preferred to roll the dice with customs rather than mess with them. Oxy, I assume?

A package from that seller to that address is burned. Nothing else. Nothing is fucked, Dude.

handwritten express labels aren't weird. and using 22.95 stamps isn't weird. dropping them in a box isn't weird either. the vendor got profiled.
