Dear DNM Buyers - A heartfelt plea from the other side

Hello,

I come to you today to make a humble request.

We often hear about vendors who rinse people; trick them into finalising early or just sending a bag of talcum powder and trying to cling to the claim that it's "premium bolivian gak, honest mate!"

But what we don't hear about is dudes flogging a little bit of weed in november so that he can put a turkey on the table at christmas and getting fucked by dudes who's "package didn't arrive" or the ones who make you wait the full 14 days (based on AB) for funds to finalise automatically.

There are good and bad people on both sides, of course.

I'd like to request that anyone considering a double dip, to maybe rethink that, and anyone who has just got their stuff and you're happy with it, then go on and finalise that, it'll take you 5 minutes.

Thank you.

I don't care what people say, I am infinitely grateful for vendors on DNMs. I'm in a position where I don't have connections and don't feel comfortable making those connections in light of the type of substances I deal with. Vendors give me the freedom to have quick, friendly, convenient transactions that 9/10 times yield me the most amazing product. Would I be willing to send illicit substances in the post to random people around the world in mass quantities, hundreds of orders per week? Absolutely not. I'll never try and scam a vendor out of his/her money because I know exactly what that feels like in a face-to-face interaction, and that's the ENTIRE REASON for me turning to the DNMs for solace.

When I used to buy from the markets, I literally finalized as soon as I took the first hit of dope. I felt like it was my obligation as a buyer to finalize once I knew the vendor did their part.

I think the people that let orders auto finalize are first time or occasional buyers who forget all about it. I don't think the people that come to this sub are the perpetrators.

[11 Points] coffeencreme:

Yeah people should finalize when they get their product, I'm with you on that one.

Be the change in the DNM you wish to see in the DNM.

Ghandi said that.

I'm certain of it.

[5 Points] Theeconomist1:

Agreed. I can't believe not only people who scam but bastards who don't finalize timely. It's a sickness.

Myself and I believe I can speak for the rest of the vendors

Its the people who fail to finalize and just let it sit in escrow until it AFs that baffle me... I mean the scammers, sure, I get it, you're an asshole who wants free / 50% off drugs. It seems like a lot of effort to go to, but I guess if you have time to waste...the logistics of it confuse me though: No one isgoing to refund a first time buyer, so you must have to use an account for a couple of 'honest' buys before you try for your refund? I guess I'm missing something. But the autofinalizers? What the fuck to they get out of this process? Can they genuinely be that forgetful/lazy? Like, IRL, if I go and get an ounce of weed on tick off a dealer, and then drag my feet about paying (assuming I have the kind of relationship with the guy where this would be at all advissable!) well, obviously I get the advantage of having that money to spend now. Maybe I just need it to hold me over till payday, maybe I just wanna buy more drugs elsewhere. (I'm not this type of cunt IRL, I'm just hypothesising) But the autofinalizers? Its not like they can spend the money they got sat in escrow. So what the fuck? And its mostly these assholes that are spoiling it for the rest of us by causing vendors to require FE. A vendor can protect himself somewhat against scammers by terms and conditions that restrict the rights of new buyers to refunds, but what can he do about these autofinalize fuckers? I'm not sure even multisig will do much to help this situation, I hear talk of 30 day timelocks and the like. I guess if a customer is slow to release in a multisig transaction the vendor can ask the market to sign but the time it takes to get this ties up money in the usual way. I, like any responsible DNM user finalize as soon as I get the package. If practical I prefer to test it out first but if not I'll finalize; I mean in cases of lower quality than expected product, disputing via support/resolution isn't gonna help much, its going to be mostly down to vendors goodwill anyway.

I'm not a religious type but I still follow the principles of karma, what goes around comes around and all that. If a vendor has their act together, ships my order on time and it arrives in a reasonable timeframe based on the shipping method then I feel they deserve the same effort from me. If its a reliable vendor I use regularly then I will often have FE'd anyway, but otherwise I'll make the effort to login that day and finalise, plus post relevant feedback. After a couple of successful deals with a vendor I will often post a review on Reddit too, figure it might help them out.

In comparison, I have a friend who doesnt do computers so I do his DNM orders for him, despite regular reminders he is always forgetting to transfer his cash to me advance for the BTC, fails to confirm exactly what he wants etc. Of course when he actually is waiting for something he then wants me to be checking for updates a couple of times each day, chasing the vendor and all that. I can imagine that he would be the sort of customer who is after the vendor non-stop with questions etc over a small <0.5BTC order, but then leaves it to auto-finalise once received, and how annoying that must be for a vendor....

[2 Points] DHLMarket:

Finalizing is the FIRST thing I do after I get (and open) my package. I like it, because I feel like I'm saying "I approve of what you gave me and the experience I had with you" to the vendor and I like that feeling. A good transaction on a DNM is the best.

The world is filled with such inconsiderate and greedy people. I find it so unfortunate that some people feel the need or the desire to scam each other.

[2 Points] SchwiftyShoes:

HELLO FROM THE OTHERSIDE! I MUST'VE FINALIZED A THOUSAND TIMES!

[2 Points] hilltopbandaids:

Thank you. Buyers don't realize just how often vendors have to deal with that shit. If you don't reship, you look like a dick. If you do, you probably just let someone scam you.

[1 Points] None:

As a buyer I always research my vendor before I make a purchase and then when I feel comfortable enough to order I FE. The way I see it as soon as you have my package in the mail you deserve my coin.

I have had packs land every single order and with the exception of one recent order (received 12 grams instead of 28g) and I have always been satisfied.

[1 Points] powerman15:

You hear that Alphabay? Some vendors really do need their money.

[1 Points] agorathrow8080:

Problem is...fuckers make new accts for everything. No way to pin them down. I just had an issue with a giant lsd vendor, 2 people said got zero day 1. I messaged vendor and supplier, and found related same 3 day reviews. It wss just the 2 idiots that took it.

Irresponsible buyers and shills create 90% of the bs on here. Its unfortunate.

Wish we had a sub with established accounts that care about the community.. Even myself this is my 3rd dnm acct, jad an sr1 and sr2... but realized they arent gonna fuck with me for my couple pills, and if they do, well then it happens

I would be leary as a huge reseller vendor, but most buyers are just afraid. It sucks. Otherwise this idea would be great, especially if the good guys where bot paying for the scams on the buyer side, i know its built into the price, and well if it isnt they are horrible at basic business skills

I get this. But, we are dealing with an anonymous system here, it's not like a face to face deal when if the dealer screws you over you can't just rat him out or go beat the fuck outta him at this house. Here, once you sent that money, it's gone forever in most cases. If there is a option to FE (unless i'm buying from one of my regulars) i'm gonna use the FE option.
