Unintentionally sent money from my Coinbase to a DNM Wallet

Is there reason for alarm? The account is new and I have not purchased anything on it. Should I proceed with caution or go about my business as usual?

The amount was under $200

Destroy your computer, burn the house down. Take the bitcoins out of your wallet and smash them, individually. This will make them untraceable. Take your smashed bitcoins and burn them, preferably in a grill as to not rise suspicion. Move at least 200km away and cut your losses. I'm sorry OP.

It's no big deal worst that will happen is they close your account. Any one asks questions just say you bought a sex toy on Craigslist and they gave you that payment address.... I can almost guarantee no more questions..

You might be alright... Chances are you'll be fine, but like I've told multiple people circle closed my account (that I had for over a year) because I "violated their terms of service"

The only thing I can think of is the fact that I was using all of the funds for either dnm buys or legal research chems... Mainly benzos.

Not once did I send coin directly from circle to a market wallet or any rc vendor. I always sent the coin to my main wallet, then to a market or vendor. I never bothered with tumbling or anything but they obviously followed the coin and figured It out. I didn't do anything else that would deserve the closing of my account, so that's my guess. They wouldn't give me a real answer even though I asked four times. Finally gave up and tried making a new account. They obviously flagged me because the new accounts I've made haven't worked. I have a new card on the way though, so If they just flagged my cards I might be good. Right when they finally upped my weekly limit too. I dealt with the shitty $100 a week limit for months and months and decided to be patient. . .

I'm not the only one this has happened to... It happened with both circle and coinbase accounts. If it happens to you just make a new account. Fuck Em

God the amount of 10 year olds trying to be funny in the subreddit is getting damn old! less than 200? You are good just keep a mental reminder for next time to tumble just forget these dipshits who have never even seen drugs.

I would make sure you eat all remaining bitcoins in your home

The thing about coinbase, is that they have been known to snitch for sending BTC to an address that is KNOWN to be associated with a DNM. AlphaBay for example has a large amount of addresses that they just cycle around so in theory it would be easy to tag those addresses. But if theres no reason to beleive that it is the address of a DNM wallet, then it just looks like another fuckin address in the blockchain. -- If you're paranoid about it, though, make a new account on that market, and don't use coinbase, they are really the worst if Opsec is something you care about. Make sure to tumble or at least use a few wallets next time and you'll be OK.
