Circle far from fast to verify

I have seen multiple people saying circle was great for purchasing bitcoins because of how fast it is. I just wanted to inform people that this isn't exactly true. Maybe after your verified but good lord it takes forever to verify your debit card. I could have gotten bitcoins twice from coinbase with the 4 day wait while I've been waiting for my circle account to be verified.

Very unprofessional to me that they won't even provide a timeline. I've been looking at the same lame message for a week and a half waiting for them to verify. This is what I see everyday when I check to see if its verified yet.

*We are working on connecting your credit card.

We need to do a quick review of the information you provided, and will complete the review as soon as we can. We'll let you know as soon as your credit card is ready to use.*

If they would have told me it was gonna be a week and a half I would have gotten them from coinbase. Instead I've checked every fucking day to see if I'm verified yet. Sorry for the rant but thought I'd inform everyone before they make the same mistake I did.

It's inconsistent. My account was verified right away, but a friend that signed up got the "We need to further review your account" message upon signing in and it was there for a few days. Then he received an email saying that there are suspicious activities associated with the account and that they have to close it. Exactly what is suspicious about signing up and following the directions to verify the account?

Been almost 2 weeks here

i heard calling them speeds up the process exponentially

It's been a month for me and they still won't connect my credit card. Fuck them. Coinbase is better.

I'm in very much the same boat. I've given up checking the site, assuming that when they say "We'll let you know as soon as your credit card is ready to use" they mean they'll send an email notification.

In searching for past posts on this topic, it seems for at least a lot of people, circle works almost immediately. For others, it takes weeks. And some say they never got verified. Personally, I wish I'd never taken the time to make an account with them or given them all my information.

They never sent me a verify email, but they did sent a reminder *shrugs *

To add a debit card literally takes a minute. Adding a bank account is what takes a couple days. I think you're doing something wrong.

I tried making an account and had the same problem for the longest time. I thought that maybe I could create a second account and add a different card, maybe, hopefully, it would get verified quickly. Sadly, because I had two accounts with the same info, it flagged both of them. They wanted me to submit pictures of my driver's license and all this extra bullshit I was not about to do. Circle has officially got me bent.

Added my card Friday. Still not approved. I gave up and moved on. So much for quick and convenient.

Circle was quick for me. I was verified on coinbase before they made you put in a visa CC. I have mastercard and i was like wow. So i went to circle took me 1min and i have instant btc.

[1 Points] None:

As others have said, it too me max 1 min

To those wondering just keep calling their support number and ride their asses and they'll get it verified in a couple days.

Use a well-known, national bank account such as Chase, BofA or Citi. If you're using some shady, local credit union or something, then of course verification will take a longer time.

I was good in under 10 mins before I had coins into a mixer

Circle is a great website once you have your account setup.

I attached my bank account and it took over a week but I finally got the deposits in my account. You could just use a credit card but I did and got charged fees.

Also, keep in mind that even though they say it is instant, you can only get $200 worth instantly, and the rest will come once it can verify the transaction with your bank. This is why coinbase takes so long, and the only difference is that Circle is assuming it will go through, and giving you $200 of btc to spend right away.

Circle took forever to get set up - something crazy like 12 or 14 days to get past their internal fraud checker. I even emailed support and got a brush off, saying this was their normal process. Then I had to go through another song and dance to get my bank account hooked up - so another 3-4 days.

Now that it's running smoothly, though, using it along with Helix light I can go from money in the bank to completed anonymous darknet order in about half an hour, which is pretty sweet.

The only verification I had to do was verify my bank account which only took 2 days.
