Something to consider about TheRealDeal market...

The new marketplace known as TheRealDeal supposedly purports to be a legit site for the selling of disproportionate amounts of exploits and hacker-related stuff alongside some traditional DNM products. However, I've been hearing reports that it may or may not be a sting set up by LE, as it sells some valuable products (specifically code exploits) for well below the market value.

I don't want to murder the market if it does turn out to be legit, but I believe that a fair warning must be posted for the protection of any members of the community that are considering the use of this site. I have nothing against the market personally, but I do not want to see fellow DNM users be put in the line of fire like this either.

Read and form your own conclusions, I am just relaying some potential news, not trying to convince people to necessarily do or not do something.

I would be honestly shocked if you were right. And typically you need a stun gun to do that to me.

They're doing what markets like Evolution and AlphaBay did for carding: making a bunch of idiots (sorry, not you, that other guy) aware that a thing exists, offering it for a good price, and then have them continue to buy them because they don't know how to use them and they aren't working.

In other words, they are probably either former blackhats or pseudo-blackhats who want to make some money finally. Probably in their mid thirties. That said, they seem to not be total idiots so far which is again indicative of what I said earlier.

'Selling small text files for Bitcoin over Tor' must be the worst idea for a sting I've ever heard.

  1. receive pseudonymous Bitcoins
  2. send text file over Tor to customer
  3. ???
  4. arrests!

What's odd...is I never even heard of the market until opening a SIGAINT email account.

The RealDeal Market pops up in the corner advertisements once logged into SIGAINT.
