goingpostal requires a phone number?

apparently goingpostal since he ships out of canada needs a phone number? which i dont understand because i've gotten stuff from canada before and i never needed to give a phone number, so is this only a certain area or why would he need this? also if i were to give him a number should i just give him my home phone number? because if i use my real address id assume a fake number would throw up some flags.

EDIT: only requires phone number for international orders

yes, perfectly standard for Canada. Give out your personal phone number to purchase illegal drugs which are then sent to you in the mail. Send him a picture of your drivers licence or birth certificate as well.

All jokes aside, this is not normal. Do not give out your number.

EDIT: Also you are probably being phished if you are being asked for a number. If you are using his site, it's not his real site. If you're not buying direct, where did he ask you for a phone number? Was it a private message on the market?

It says right on his page you can use any phone number. He recommends one that looks like yours from the area you live in.

Just send "281-330-8004"

Yes. It's normal. You can use any number. It's for when it gets delivered and they can't get a hold of you at the door, they call. No, I'm not joking.

This is completely normal for international packages when using couriers rather than a national mail service. Fedex, UPS, DHL all ask for a phone number. The number doesn't have to be real, but its recommended to use one with an area code relevant to the destination or better yet, use a 1-800 number for some random large company so even if they do call they'll have quite a bit of trouble getting an actual human on the phone. The only reason they would call would be because they can't locate your address. If you are using a post office box then you likely can't use a courier to receive these packages and should discuss this with the vendor before ordering.

GP is great. Used them dozens of times. All good. The few times I had an issue they resolved it and went beyond expected when doing so. Hell they even let me have an order for free when Evo exit scammed while order was in escrow. I contacted them on Abraxas to arrange payment and they said not to worry about it!

Much respect for GP!

That's weird

Give a fake number such as: 795-654-4365. USPS will never call you but it's required by Canada post for shipping international.

USPS click n ship requires a phone number to ship to canada. maybe it works the same the other way?

that said, ive always put a fake one in, even for legit packs. never had an issue.......

[1 Points] chinacat92:

Does goingpostal still ship to US? I've been wanting to try those MDMA/MDA presses for a while now, like over a year. And how much of the scamming accusations are true? Vendors get accusations all the time from people with late packs or screw up writing their address wrong. Has anyone not received an order? If so, let's hear your story. I'm very interested.

Whats the contents of your package? I've sent a shit load of non DNM stuff to the US from Canada Post and parcels larger than an envelope and bubble mailer required a phone number.

[0 Points] throwawy666:

NO! Don't ever give out that shit.

Give him the telephone number of your local PD.
