Does the Fear Ever Subside with Orders

Just curious, does the paranoia ever go down with having stuff from DNM in transit? Is it like anything else, once you get to used to it, you brush it off? I've noticed that while I'm expecting a package, all these stories pop up with busts, intercepts, etc and I think "Crap, there is something going on and they are looking more closely." I figure its more that I just notice those types of stories more while I'm expecting. Rationally, I seriously doubt that these busts spike while I have an order in transit. I guess its not nearly as bad as when I first started - I imagined silent helicopters with SWAT rappelling down busting me for my tiny order. While I'm not that extreme anymore, I still have a very real worry that this will be the order that is one order too many.

I assume this never goes away, but wanted to hear from long timers and how much you worry about orders in transit, especially compared to how it was when you first started. Speaking to those who order personal quantities, nothing huge. I tend not to worry too much about the vendor because I do copious research and observe. But I will say that when a vendor suddenly disappears that I order from, my mind drifts into whether or not they got busted? Is it just a short break/vacation? Stocking up? If they got busted, will I get a knock? Anyway, curious if that stuff dies down with experience.

Just don't run your mouth to people, use basic OPSEC, don't use idiot or untested vendors, you should be solid. This is in relation to DOMESETIC orders, interational orders I think some level of paranoia is always warranted regardless of vendor stealth.

But must importantly don't run your mouth to people. That's both rule #1 and rule #3.

Until you stay up for three days on DNM stimulants, then things start getting a little paranoid.

It costs money and most of, their time to investigate and press charges. I get more pissed than paranoid if I don't receive packages. Be paranoid about getting ripped off, not getting in trouble from the police.

[3 Points] None:

The fear subsides. 150+ packs and counting.

Just know that you are doing everything you can prevention wise and you know everything to do if "the gig is up". There's nothing else you can do. Worrying helps no one. Is catching site of the cop coming to do the CD 2 seconds sooner while you pick your pack up from your PO Box going to actually help you? No. It's the actions you took leading up to ordering the package and the actions you take after while the cop questions you that matter. Envisioning the potential ways in which cops might come swarming down upon you during a CD or raid is not helpful for anyone.

First of all, if you're ordering only personal quantities, then you've already ensured the vast majority of your paranoid fantasies will never come to pass. Assuming one of your packages ever does get intercepted, you will most likely just get a love letter from customs. Never sign for anything that comes to your door and they rarely have a leg to stand on.

As the fellow below me said, remember not to talk to people about ordering stuff online, use Trucrypt, PGP your address, and you should have nothing to fear. While it's good to always maintain a certain level of caution, but if you've taken the correct measures, you should have no reason to be nervous

It gets to a point where u have so many drugs coming in that u forget what's what and u find random drugs in the mail. Every time I get my mail its like Christmas.

P.S. blacking out on xanax and then ordering helps a lot.

Fear? ha! I'm giddy and excited all the damn time until I see my order! :DDDDDD

I get paranoid as fuck if its not a small amount. It doesn't go away. But then again I have severe anxiety disorders

A little paranoia and fear is a fine thing in this business.

I'm not paranoid now. When I first started I was though. I remember getting MDPV on SR and getting really paranoid thinking the feds might come at any moment haha. That was the only batch of MDPV I've ever had. I got a gram for only $15 back in those days haha.

[1 Points] WightLightY:

Paranoia comes from ordering international and ordering quantity. If it's small time stuff with a reputable vendor, paranoia subsides nearly entirely after like 2 orders.

I'm usually fine unless I get super fucking stoned then I start thinking paranoid shit especially as I'm walking to my fucking mailbox. I hate it but I can't stop smoking weed and ordering drugs!!! Fuck me right?!

The first rule about dark net markets: you do not talk about dark net markets. Second rule about dark net markets: you DO NOT talk about dark net markets.

I don't know about anyone else but sometimes when there's an order I touch, the honesty is too much and I have to close my eyes and hide. I want to hold that order til I die, til we BOTH break down and cry. I'm going to order until the fear in me subsides.

[1 Points] Jaymacmac:

The "fear" never goes, you just have to deal with it rationally.

That said, roll back to the good'ol days of SR1, I was so goddamn high all through 2013 it never bothered me that much.

[0 Points] J-9:

I've never once been paranoid. If you do the research about who you are buying from I don't see where the paranoia would come from.
