Storing liquid LSD . . .

Typically, when I have blotters, I've found storing them in a cool, dry, dark place to be more than sufficient for keeping their potency. Compared to freezer storage, I haven't noticed much of a difference. Was curious if liquid acid can be stored outside a freezer and keep potency as well, assuming conditions are correct. Any experiences?

It can be stored outside of the freezer, as long as it is in a dark, dry, non-warm area in an airtight container. Although keeping it in the freezer would be the preferred environment.

so what if you have a vial that whoever made it used distilled water, i was under the impression that most vials were made with alcohol which wouldnt freeze solid, but would it fuck with the lsd if the water froze solid?

Stop putting acid in the fucking freezer.

While not about liquid LSD, a crystalline sample was stored in a sealed amber vial for 55 years in a desk drawer and there was negligible degradation. https://www.erowid.org/chemicals/lsd/lsd_article2.shtml

So the important thing is to keep it away from light and oxygen. Low temperatures just slow down reactions with oxygen and surrounding molecules. High temps speed them up.

LSD is an unusually fragile molecule and some comments are in order as to its stability and storage. As a salt, in water, cold, and free from air and light exposure, it is stable indefinitely.

Your LSD is already a salt (tartrate or whatever) and dissolved in water. Now keep it cold and minimize the air and light exposure. Seal the container tight! If it has one of those rubber dropper tops, put it in something else.

Right on, lots of great info here, thanks so much everyone.
