Creating a new Marketplace. Opsec in question.

Hey everyone. I'm tossing a line out there to see what comes back. I want to create a new marketplace but the opsec of it is new to me. I know DNM's and I know how to create great looking interfaces and platforms but what I don't get is how to make the site secure as hell with no ip leaks and such. I know a lot of you probably will say something like if I don't know what I'm doing than I shouldn't be doing it. Which is why I haven't. (Yet).

What are the main factors of running a secured site?

I'm going to create a marketplace. Whether it has 5 vedors and 1 buyer. Or 200 vendors and 200k buyers. I've done things likewise outside DNM's and would finally like to retire within the next 3-4 years and do something different.

If you aren't smart enough to learn these things on your own, then you aren't smart enough to run a market. You're still going to get these answers no matter what disclaimer you add to your post, it's the truth and you've already proved horrible OpSec by posting here.

Being able to answer these questions on your own.

In before this gets posted 20 times "I know a lot of you probably will say something like if I don't know what I'm doing than I shouldn't be doing it"

LIFE IN PRISON LIFE IN PRISON LIFE IN PRISON LIFE IN PRISON

...think about it buddy.

Alternatively, you can take a general top to bottom web dev course + network admin and learn the security aspects.

First things first;

I would take as many classes, and read as many books as you can on Network Security, Web Dev, and a couple programming languages. Take a year or two getting a GOOD grasp on these things.

Second, run and host a clear net site for a couple months. Store fake information there and have hired professionals try and get as much information as possible. Do this until they can only get very, very little information. (Remember, the entire goverment will be wanting you in jail for life, if a couple professionals can hack your site, what do you think hundreds of them can do?)

Third, MOVE TO A DIFFERENT COUNTRY. Do NOT live in the USA. Move to a country where they do not extridite.

Fourth, Retire? Wouldn't it be great if starting a DNM could get you rich! It won't happen. If you think you can move enough Bitcoin from the DNM into your pocket without someone(THE ENTIRE GOVERMENT) figuring out it's you, you won't last a month. YOU WILL NOT BE RICH!

Fifth and final step/warning, Be prepared to give up your life for basically nothing. You are now wanted by the United States Goverment, and any country they are allies with. If you get caught, you will be in jail FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE. You cannot move enough Bitcoin to "get rich" and you cannot just go out in public and start buying mansions, cars, clothes, and jewlery

The day you make that market, say goodbye to everybody you've known. Your family, your friends, your children(if you have them), and any spouse you have. You will never see them again because you will be living in basically a shack in a 3rd world country.

If you decide to retire, aka exit scam, you might just be at the top of everyones "I'm going to literally kill your whole family" list. These might be usernames to you, but these are major criminals in real life.

If you DO decide to come back to the USA...well...tell Ross I said he's a legend!

So there you have it. You will be living in a server room in a 3rd world country making as little as possible being hunted by a lot of goverments and probably will never be able to go out in public for more than an hour every 2-3 weeks. Have fun buddy!

(insert what everyone else is saying about you not even trying to do this and putting the entire community thats dumb enough to use your site here)

Step one is to use Whonix or a similar setup to prevent IP leaks.

Steps two through seven million are things that will take you at least a few hundred hours to learn, and probably more. HTTPd, database and OS hardening; why not to use PHP; etc. etc. etc.

My suggestion is to get reading and come back in a year or so when you're almost ready.
