*Current 420 sale price. I think it's normally $60-65 for 7g of his AAA.
One of the things that sucks about being a pot user is the inconsistency of the product - everyone's grading scale is relative to their experiences, and you can't just go by strain because there are variables beyond genetics that affect the appearance and quality of flowers (not to mention how easy it is to just pick a popular strain name and list it). I always thought it'd be cool to order the same strain from multiple vendors and do a "shoot-out". That's not easy to do for me, but there were a couple of 7g listings for a strain I like and was out of, so I went for it.
I should point out that Colorado's grading scale goes up to AAAA, so he is not selling this as his best class offering. Honestly not sure if HumboldtFarms advertises weed in a class above "A+++ Premium". I appreciate any vendor honestly advertising the quality of their product, and I don't think either vendor is being dishonest as neither is calling their listing "top shelf", "fire", etc.
Once the order was placed, CO's product took about 5 business days to arrive... HF's took 7. CO is usually a little faster than that, but his workload has been discussed at length already. Both met my expectations. Low comm scores are due to HF taking until after the order arrived to reply to a message (would have been lower but the question was rather trivial) and CO also not getting back to me yet (more on this later - and would be lower, but I know the guy's getting beat up and I have some compassion). Both orders came in ~1.5g overweight.
I have a lot of strains to try out and only so much time, so I haven't given these two as thorough as test as I'd like yet. That said, CO's TOG gets a slight edge in terms of aesthetics - it's a bit better looking and smelling. Neither is particularly frosty. HF's is a bit darker and drier. Have not vaped either, but effect of both when smoking is similar - HF's actually hits a bit harder at first then melted into a nice body buzz. CO's came on a little more gently but resulted in the same indica vibe. A re-dose or two of each puts me to bed with a smile on my face.
I wish I had been able to grab another sample or two, but none of my go-to top shelf vendors were carrying the strain. Hopefully this is helpful none-the-less.

I may have been experimenting with some other strains while typing this, so let me know if I left out anything... still planning on doing a Blue Dream "shoot-out" at some point in the not to distant future.
Edit: Forgot to add on to the CO communication issue. Basically, I ordered a bunch of strains and the bags weren't labeled, so I asked him for help. He was willing, so I sent him links to pics, but no response since. I'm not sure if this is common for him or just an oversight - never ordered multiple strains from him before. Another review mentioned the same issue. Every other time I've ordered multiple strains from a vendor they've been labeled (sharpie on one of the bags w/ strain and weight). It's an issue for me because the whole point was to try all his strains and possibly re-order more of the ones I liked.
Edit #2: CO got back to me (as you can see in the comments below) - will be working with him to verify strains so I can put up reviews of the rest in the coming week or so.
Steller read man. This is a prime example of how one should conduct a vendor review. This bud shoot-out thing you're doing is great. I'd love to see more.
