USPS lost package, Who is responsible?

It seems to be that there is a common attitude that if USPS fucks up, the responsibility is all on the buyer and not the seller?

large pack lost in the mail.. Vendor is steadfast that this doesn't concern him at all. Pack is escrowed

Thoughts? haven't seen any post about drug dealing ethics

vendor?

Check out his vendor reship/refund policy and see what it says. It's possible that he's just trying to scam you, and it's also possible that he's just an inconsiderate asshole. If you name the vendor we may be able to help more

Are not the least bit concerned that your lost pack will end up at the dead letter office and inspected?

So firstly, usually the vendors reship/refund policy takes precedence.

I've always believe that generally speaking a vendor is responsible for the pack until it's marked "delivered". If it's marks delivered, usually it's on the buyer. Obviously I understand there are same zip code scams and such that get around this. If a pack doesn't make it, it's usually on the vendor IMO. However, there are exceptions - if the buyer used a bad address or an addy they do not control, then that's on the buyer.

It goes like for instance if the vendor has evidence of it being delivered then good luck winning that dispute. But, since it's been delivered you don't have to worry about law enforcement at that point and simply call the post office claiming you didn't receive your package and the company will only refund you if you can proove it want to the wrong house. Find out where it was addressed to and yeah find out pretty much if you've been scammed or not.

idk how they will figure it out but in all fairness it really is not his fault. He clearly isn't trying to scam you unless he is really fucking good. planning a lost package? does he work for the courier? That would be elaborate and at that point i guess he deserves the win
