Bitcoin vs Monero vs Ethereum vs Z coin?

I'm aware of bitcoin and how it works, but how about the others?

What are the major differences between them and which is best?

EDIT: I am sure "best" may be relative. AB has these optons with Z coin coming to add the market soon. I wonder which is the most common.

Id like to know more about Monero. I feel as if it'd be safer just for the fact that it doesn't get as much attention

People who are obsessed with security are being short sighted. Privacy is for this concern. It's not the aim for the crypto world for us to be able to trade drugs freely, that's just a byproduct of free trade.

I have done some research over the last few weeks. I don't really fancy Litecoin as it's BTC Lite imo. What's the point?

All the others have too small market caps right now for me to make an educated risk, but I'd love to hear about others.

Ethereum has been my main subject though. It is to contracts what btc is to payments. Future payments (i.e. contracts) are obviously a problem over the internet as there is not much accountability because of the anonymity. Soimehow (I'm not tech minded) they're hoping to resolve that issue. Is that happens, I can't see how there won't be major changes to the financial sector as we know it.

Now, if you're really interested, get reading ;-)
