Customs Declaration, Brazil and Monkeys

Why is so hard to find INTL vendors who add Customs Declaration (like CN22 form) to packages?

A little of fucked up culture for you guys; I am from Brazil, a corrupt third world country where things like iPhone and Cars cost 2x to 3x the price of countries like USA, Canada and others from Europe. People try to bypass the Brazilian IRS (who is the only thing that work 100% well here to feed corrupt politicians) by sending clothes with hidden iPhone's inside from USA to Brazil and other things like that all the time, with that, the IRS heavily check incoming mail from all places and even small packages like 50g MDMA (got one seized) are opened to check taxable items. They don't give a fuck about the drugs in the mail, but unfortunately they find it when trying to find things to TAX.

I suppose must be other countries with that problem, maybe India? Vendors please start to offer a different shipment option for fucked up third world countries, thanks!

Sending mail from Europe to a country like Brazil requires a CN22 to be attached, or depending on the weight of the package a CN23.

Well, since I talked about this in another thread. If the package is anything other than a letter envelope, and the package is worth more than $200 bucks, then they should be using customs declarations.

First off, if they want it to look professional they will use an label that incorporates the custom declaration in the actual label (instead of the attached hand filled form)... And when they do this, they need to pick a decoy commodity, associate the appropriate harmonized code for that commodity, and set the value at below $30 USD.

If they don't do that, there are all kinds of things that can go awry.

  1. If no declaration - The tax man could want to open it to see if there is anything worth taxing
  2. If the decoy doesn't match the HR code, the tax man might wonder why and one of the following scenarios could play out.
    • The item is marked as Sea Salt, but it looks like weed... hmmm
    • The item is marked as Sea Salt, but there is nothing in there looking like sea salt
    • The amount included doesn't match the weight listed on the declaration and thus isn't taxed appropriately
    • Various other ways to draw attention to something that you don't want to draw attention to.

But if they use a label, with declaration included, and the proper weight, amounts, and HR code is used... it is likely the following will happen:

It is real simple once a vendor locks down the right decoys and begins shipping the product as if they were an actual vendor of actual legitimate, legal, and non taxable items.

The problem occurs when a vendor is used to shipping domestically as the majority of their business. International requires a different set of rules for mailing successfully. Those that embrace them might charge more for their services, because frankly it is a lot more work to get it done "right"

Look the part, play the part, get your shit no problems.

most likely no vendor will start messing around with foreign tax forms.

i only know 1 canadian vendor which ever did that for a order, but that was years ago.

shit wont happen.

Brazillian here. The truth is that most packages are not opened. They find shit because they take a sample of all incoming packages and put them through Xray. If they see something suspicious (like organic material in a letter or metal shaped like a phone) they will probably open it. Thats why hiding iphones inside clothes wont help.

But not every package goes through Xray, so if your pack will get seized or not is kind of luck. However, it is known that they will take more packages from countries known to sell drugs (like netherlands).

The only really safe drug to buy is acid, since its just paper.

I am not 100% on this (mainly because i dont know know if they can ship to you) but i buy stuff from this website called TaoBao (its the chinese version of eBay) , they have a bunch of "reps" of stuff, but they also sell legitimate products like iPhones/Consoles/Chargers etc for about the same price as you would in the US. (ive spent hours on there just browsing stuff lol) but to be able to purchase something, you use something called an agent (superbuy is the best and easiest), you pay for what you want, it gets sent to the agents warehouse (this is an actual company doing this, this is their business) they inspect it for you, then they ship it to you. The cool thing is they let you declare the value to whatever you want, and if customs ever asks for a receipt they'll make you one so you dont get taxed. If your interested visit /r/FashionReps and you'll find some useful guides.

You can get acid relatively safely.
