Why vendors can get their negative feedbacks deleted?

It was too good to be true. I ordered some product from a well-respected vendor and it never came. There were 8 other customers in the same situation. I managed to get a 50% refund. It was a shitty deal but I felt like this was the best I could get since I had no proof of seizure. Overall, I had a very bad experience with the seller. That's why I decided to leave a negative feedback. So far so good.

The vendor then asked Evo to delete my negative feedback. He submitted a ticket. It was done within an hour, leaving the vendor with a stainless record.

"Feedback is for the parties to state their opinion on how the transaction went. So, if they wanted to leave a negative feedback and say the vendor sucked in the above scenario then they would be within their right.

But that scenario wouldn't occur often. If the vendor is legitimate then one grumpy buyers crappy feedback shouldn't effect them too much. Especially considering you can mitigate it by responding to said feedback."

Do you think it's fair for a vendor to cherry-pick his feedbacks?

Is it the same situation on Agora?

TL;DR: sellers can delete negative feedbacks. I don't think it's fair.

Well, that's the last time I'm using Evo, thanks for telling me about this bullshit.

[18 Points] deezyyyy:

Evo is notorious for it unfortunately...

[9 Points] lavishisabitch:

As deezyyy said, I'm pretty sure that is a feature exclusive to Evolution or at least carried out by far the most there. Very disappointing that they do that. I bet a warning next to their link on this sub would get them to address the situation and maybe cut that crap out...

I just started vending there and already think it was a mistake for that reason. When all the vendors have 100% ratings it's hard for the honest, quality vendors to even be noticed in that crowd of 100% vendors. I also noticed that ECC, the vendor who doxxed a customer a couple of months ago, is now vending on Evo. A customer of mine complained about that to Evo admin but they wouldn't do anything about it. They got big by lettiing anyone with a pulse vend there no questions asked as far as I can tell.

[6 Points] xiic:

I've had that happen to me. The vendor straight up asked the mod assigned to my complaint ticket to remove the negative feedback. Sure enough the next day it was gone.

[8 Points] sharpshooter789:

What do you expect from a market founded by fraudsters?

Because money.

The feedback system on Evolution is a total joke. I regularly see vendors with 100% feedback at level 5, go down to 99% and then back up to 100%, back down and back up. I have no idea why this is allowed. Unless the feedback leaver is a known scammer and slander monger, I see no reason to silence fair criticism.

Before buying from any Evo vendor you must check the forums. For an Evolution vendor to be investigated, they have to seriously start screwing over the masses. Recently there have been forum members doing experiments where they create several dummy accounts, thus appearing to be a new buyer with zero transactions, and reporting the way vendors act towards them as virgin buyers, compared to seasoned buyers and those that are active in the forums. I am not aware of their findings yet, but the fact they are doing it suggests that there is definitely a problem. Evo is by far the most stable running site, in my opinion, but they have seen an influx in scammers and selective scamming over the past couple of months.

[1 Points] sammyishere:

That's pretty messed up and yes Evo is known for changing the ratings on the vendors when they screw up. I've seen it myself when the ratings for Humbolt Farms were changed a few months back. See this type of behavior should get a warning placed on the sidebar but do you see any of that happening? No. Buyers are getting screwed by this market.

[5 Points] ComeShotMcGee:

for this reasom alone, you shouldn't use evo

[3 Points] None:

Same thing happened to me with gamma goblin, I was a newer buyer at the time and I really feel that when that shit is allowed, he's bound to do some selective scamming, considering buyers probably scam him too.

I guess the reason was because you two had come to a solution in the dispute (= you've been refunded 50%) - so you aren't allowed to leave bad feedback on that particular order, since he refunded you for it.

As soon as you accept a refund, it's like the order never took place, so you can't leave any feedback at all, specially not bad feedback.

That's the only way I think this could be reasoned, but I really don't know for sure, and I only saw this happening on Evo, too.

[3 Points] None:

Both vendors and buyers can be scammers, however, at present, the vendors hold most of the cards. And for whatever reason, Evolution seems to just keep dealing to them from the bottom of the deck.

We can see now that feedback is for the most part ineffective in judging a vendors respectability. So stay informed and inform others. Anyone that gets scammed by a vendor that does not take it to the forums of the market, or the forums here on reddit, are helping this glitch continue. If we play fair, keep it honest, and watch each others backs, we can begin to weed out this problem.

I would encourage anyone that feels that they have been wrongfully silenced to create this topic in their respective market forum. That way everyone can have their fair say and it will motivate all parties to keep it real.

And just in my opinion if you see a vendors profile page, I'm not going to mention any names although believe me I want to, where they require FE and then in a very strict, militant like way, list off a bunch of reasons why you cannot leave negative feedback (unless you have a great relationship with this vendor), do yourself a favor and take to heart their usual last line when it says something like, "do not order from me unless you agree to all these rules," and DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. Class vendors do not act this way, look elsewhere.

Which vendor is this in regards to? I'll look into the removal of the feedback. We actually don't remove feedback at the vendors request.

[2 Points] FingersQuiet:

Any proof?

[1 Points] grandpajoe_dnm:

Just to chime in on this from my experience. I have had one instance where I asked for a review to be edited (the user accidently put stealth/opsec info in and I just wanted that info redacted) and they just removed the entire review. Perhaps it's easier to delete than edit based on the system backend, I don't know. I think you see a lot of 100% because most of us are working our asses off and doing a pretty good job of customer service and I think that you guys here (and on the market subs) also do a pretty good job of keeping us accountable.

Also, keep in mind that this is not eBay or Amazon, we're all just making it up as we go along.

Stay safe and don't get too big!

This has been known about Evo for a long time

Agora is the opposite, IMO they are too quick to ban good vendors

[1 Points] scHoolboy2:

I once left negative feedback because I was under the impression I never received a package. It was something small I forget what exactly so I wasn't too upset. Couple days later the package showed up (after like 2weeks of waiting), I messaged support and told them what happened and if they could delete the bad feedback and they did it within the day. Fastest response time I've ever had from support too

[0 Points] PotWillKillYou:

It sucks majorly and goes against how a feedback system should be used.

Think about it though, the more glowing feedback that Evo and Evo vendors have, the better it is for the admins. The more people will buy and the more money everyone makes (especially the market).

I don't know how difficult it is for a vendor to have unfair feedback removed on Agora, We're about to find out.

Vendor "HANK", a FULL member of the BTVA, is the largest seller of imported meth in the UK on the darknet. Like all Tor Vendors Association members, he offers escrow on every item. Customers can FE for a discount if they want to, but he's a big supporter of escrow.

Anyhoo. he's a hero of the darknet, above reproach in my opinion.

The Chinese gang who import most of the UK's meth (including the North Korean meth that hank sells) have just started importing ketamine too. Hank decided to offer it.

Now, apparently theres a shortage of ketamine, and the stuff for sale must be shite because all the other ketamine vendors were immediately thrusting handfulls of bitcoin at Hank to buy any amount of his K, even though they already have it listed cheaper than Hank sells it (which screams "scammer" to me. Legit vendors don't buy their product from competitors)

One customer ordered 5g of K at 2PM, voluntarily FE'd, , then gave hank 0/5 and called him a scammer because Hank hadn't answered an email 3 hours later!

Hank sends express overnight, like all British meth vendors. We are shit-hot fast in a way you americans with your post-that-takes-a-week will find hard to grasp. We rush to meet the 5PM postal deadline so that customers are guaranteed to have their order in their hand the following day at 9AM or 1PM, anywhere in the UK.

We worry about emails and marking "shipped" when we get back.

Unfortunately, vendors of disasociatives like K or MXE haven't got a very good reputation, customers always feel like they're going to be let down. Hank saw the 0/5 on his 3 hours-old order as he was putting his running shoes on, so he clicked "refund", took the order out of his bag, then went to post the rest of the orders.

This afternoon he asked Agora to remove the comment calling him a scammer from this quite unreasonable customer who doesn't understand that WE CANT CHAT UNTIL AFTER THE POST OFFICE DEADLINE..

We can't keep taking our gloves on and off to type or we will post our fingerprints or get drug powder all over our keyboard.

I mean, who decides they're being scammed because they don't get an email wit hin 3 hours? Sometimes you have to click "resend" for 3 hours on agora before a message actually sends successfully
