Need Help: Receiver of letter may be moved out when letter arrives.

I've been planning to have some LSD mailed to me for a while now, but I held off considering my University's horrible mail system. A friend who lives in an apartment in a city not too far away agreed to help me and receive the letter. Only one problem, I ordered the letter a bit too late and it was marked sent on Evolution on Wednesday at 12:08 AM, my friend has just finished school up there and leaves his apartment next Monday, maybe before the mail arrives there at 1 PM. The vendor we used has good ratings and was known for his reputable speed and stealth, with others having wait times of 2 - 3 days.

We worry that the mail will not arrive this Saturday, or the following Monday, meaning a letter with my friends name will be sitting inside his mailbox and he won't be able to be there.

At this time we do not have a tracking number, my questions are:

Is there any way we would be able to retrieve the letter if my friend moved out? Is there any way to have the letter rerouted to a secondary address where I would be able to get it? Is there any way to prevent interception provided that the mail sit in his mailbox and eventually be taken by someone else?

Thanks r/DarkNetMarkets, you are truly the only source of help for those who believe we should have control over what we put in our bodies.

If he is moving out and handing his keys to the property managers, then you can fill out a change of address form with USPS. otherwise, if he is not completely moving out, and just for the summer or something, maybe he can trust you with the mailbox key?

Set up a forwarding address and have it sent to a new safe location, it's normal to have mail still going to areas around there when schools getting out.

I believe you likely own a mailbox. Try sending it there next time ;)

You're stupid and I hope you lose your package.
