Buying BTC through coinbase

I am trying to buy BTC through coinbase, but it says your region is not supported for buying. I checked on coinbase's website it says the United States supports instant buy of BTC. I was doing some research and it said to upload a picture of your drivers license and then this feature will be enabled on your account.

First I was wondering if this is a valid method for getting BTC, I feel like uploading a picture of my drivers licnse for ordering BTC for this isn't something I want to do, althought these BTC are just going to my clearnet wallet, then to a tumbler then electrum wallet, still feels not right.

Second if this is a valid method for getting BTC for DNM purchases, I was wondering if after uploading a drivers license anyone had success buying in the United States.

Also if coinbase is no longer a valid way to get BTC because of this in the USA could anyone recommend a better site tfor credit card/prepaid card -> BTC. Not sure if coinmama or some other sites are as "DNM friendly" as coinbase is /was.

P.S. this is a repost from a post I posted in DNMNoobs, but I got not replies on there so I was hoping maybe this would catch different eyes and maybe someone could help me.

Thanks.

addition: did some further research and I found bitquick.co and also wallofcoins.com, can anyone verify if these are valid methods to getting BTC for DNM use? (obviously still gonna tumble and send to electrum on tails etc) Both websites asked for a phone number, bitquick requires an email address, but wall of coins does not require an email address.

Any information is helpful, Im trying to make my first purchase, but getting BTC seems to be the most tedious part of this process.

Thanks

Yeah, Coinbase works for me. I'm using a debit card in the US after showing them my DL. They bill my card out of the UK so I have to pre-approve it with my bank ahead of time.
