Is MDMA exclusively a party drug?

So, I'm big on concentrates. And getting high. So much so that I do it to the point where I can barely feel anything, and that still isn't enough :)

Anyways, despite that, I have some anxiety and depression issues that tend to hit me in waves. I'll go through periods where I get caught in negative thought loops. The last time I tripped on psilocybin, I became very self-critical and I've since decided that I have nothing to gain from psychedelics. Multiple people I've brought MDMA up with casually have described their first MDMA roll as their favorite drug experience. I've seen that rolling is typically portrayed as a sociable, empathetic, euphoric, etc. Would this experience be less positive if done alone and in a calm setting? How does the body load of rolling compare to that of your psychedelic of choice? Just curious. Thanks.

It will still be positive but you will not be taking advantage of the magic it lends to conversation and personal interaction.

Body high is superb with mdma, just like tryptamines. Different but intensely pleasurable.

I tried Mandy for the first time in my own, late at night in my apartment. Stuck on some music and just monged the fuck out, it was a really good experience. After now doing it in clubs and especially at a festival, I can see why people say it's better but coming from only doing weed, my first time on Mandy was still incredible!

MDMA definitely has some therapeutic potential. Ever since I rolled for the first time a month ago I've just been really happy (now I'm not sure if this is all due to the MDMA because I have also had two really deep LSD trips). I'm not sure if you would be able to tap into the therapeutic benefits without a psychologist to guide you. I recommend trying it because you'll have a blast anyways, even if you're at home. Maybe try shrooms or acid if you want to really work through your problems.

The only problem is that the comedown - when you've blown your whole wad of serotonin - can be pretty unpleasant if you're at all prone to depression. I viewed it as worth it back when I was using X occasionally (you can tell it was a long time ago since I tend to call it X :), but wow did I sometimes have a really dark day or so afterwards.

Also, if you're already taking any kind of SSRI for depression you may find it completely blocks the effect. I tried to do some rolling while I was on prozac once and that was like taking really expensive illegal aspirin. You absolutely shouldn't mix it with any MAO inhibitors.

I think it's full potential is a party. However, you can have fun anywhere on most drugs! It's fun to take random drugs and make your own adventure!

watch vids on the MAPS gootube channel, they're using mdma for therapeutic purposes, treating PTSD. Major breakthroughs, healing where nothing else had effect.

Hate partying on of. Would rather stay at home n smoke marijaunas. Weed n MDMA best mix!!!

For me, it's not very psychedelic unless I combine it with marijuana. The marijuana + MDMA high is quite strange. It's not bad, but it just feels like an awkward combo. It was still really enjoyable.

I wouldn't do it alone, personally. You'll still have a great time, but it's potential lies in a group setting. I'd rather be around people. Especially people I already know :D In fact if I took a high enough dose alone, I'm not sure I would be able to resist seeking out people to talk to.

The body load is noticeable (jawing can get painful the day after), but when I'm rolling I don't really give a fuck haha. The nausea isn't bad for me which was originally a huge relief.

I love LSD, but the nausea can sort've dampen my time on higher doses.

me and my girlfriend have some fun date nights on it

MDMA is probably my least preffered party drug! Way more potential to heal imo.
