Checking USPS Tracking

Do you track USPS packages anonymously? If so, how? If not, why?

In my mind checking a domestic package through a proxy could potentially raise some flags, especially if the IP is foreign. On the other hand, if you check the package from an IP that can be traced back to you, then you can't plead ignorance if need be.

There is a rumor that tracking through TOR raises a red flag and alerts LE but as far as I know no one has ever proven that this is the case. I have tracked through TOR before and my packages always show up no problem.

no agency is going to build a case based on the ip someone is using to check the postal website anymore than you'll get a visit from the men in black.

Checking USPS tracking via a proxy, such as TOR, would certainly raise red flags and alert LE.

Go to a public wifi place and view the tracking info, you can spoof your MAC address if you want, but its not important.

Regardless of the Red Flag/No Red Flag issue, use a site like PackageTracker so that the request comes from their IP and not your exit relay / VPN.

Problem solved.

Wouldn't you rather just go to starbucks and have a nice cup of coffee instead of risking it?
