Dropshipping?

Is this considered a shitty thing to do? I've seen the idea thrown around on various subreddits

  1. Become vendor

  2. When someone buys a product from you, just buy it from another vendor and put their address in

  3. Potential profit???

Now obviously the person would most likely buy from the person you're buying from, but in the off chance it works is this an okay practice or frowned upon.

I'm intrigued by the idea

For best results, buy from one market, say AlphaBay and sell it on another market, say Dream, to take advantage of different relative availability.

You'll have to deal with downtimes not lining up, but there's some good potential to run a low risk, medium potential profit operation.

This will be a bad deal for the vendor, so they may retaliate. If you use the same account for many orders, they'll be able to not ship out some/all orders and know that you won't know if people complaining are scamming you and their reputation isn't on the line because it's probably easy to dispute one account making 20 complaints at once. If you sign up for a new account for each order, the vendor may notice constant fresh accounts and if you don't leave good feedback or finalize quickly, they may notice the pattern and also start ripping you off.

If you don't require FE, you'll have to have some amount of capital to get started in addition to the vendor bond.

You could go down a similar road and make fewer enemies by finding an underrepresented Chinese company and handle their DNM presence. It wouldn't be hard to write up something grammatically correct and more professional than most of the Chinese DNM ads and prices are cheap enough that it'd be easier to skim off the top.

It would be good way to get bitcoins into your account without them being tied to your identity

You will be known as a shitty vendor for the shitty service you offer from the shitty service those vendors offer....now you have to depend on every vendor you order from to be on point or you're the one in the dispute

A lot of people don't buy from certain vendors, so getting packages from the "wrong" vendor would make for angry customers

If you mess with international/domestic, that'd be bad

You could openly resell something domestically that you purchase from abroad. Or if you are in the EU, you could resell Dutch product from a low risk country... Just be transparent about it

It sounds a lot easier then it really is, the vendor is gonna wonder why you are giving a different address every time or you have to make lots of buyer accounts. The only times to do this is if you are setting up a account for future scamming or if you are out of product.

Imagine if some idiot posted listing for domestic usa mols and they really just have a Netherlands vendor ship it to you.
