AB withdraw is skimming BTC

So my last two withdraws weren't showing up. I open a ticket and BM tells me to do it automated which is how I did it. It bounces back and I resend and get BTC but it's missing $22. Not much I know coming fro a vendor but it ads up. Be careful check every withdraw. I know there withdraws have been having issues last few weeks from what support told me.

update: just withdrew .222 and got it just missing the tx id fees how it should be. I only got it in one transaction though not tumbled. They're fixing the issue. Not a exit I'm sure they're not doing it on purpose. I hope not. AB has been good to me for a long time

This is getting so fucked up. Mods need to place AB on the watch list, the time has come

[15 Points] whatisopsec:

My attempted withdrawal just got cancelled

Last week someone send me some coin for a b-day present, $8.00 of it went to a mystery wallet that appeared out of no where!!!!

withdrew .3 btc and only received .23 to my wallet. i get that transaction fees exist but .07 btc? something sketchy going on

[4 Points] notthepoppa1:

I can confirm this too. I noticed one of my withdrawals was short and after making a ticket my coins were promptly returned to me without explanation - thought it was rather strange

[4 Points] everlastingGob:

No shit I was wondering why my withdrawal was shorter then normal wtf is going on u/alphabaysupport

Hansa ahoy!

[4 Points] PM_me_BTC_or_ETH:

Sellers? I get it. You might be getting fucked.

Buyers...why would you ever keep more than the cost of your next transaction on AB? Does anyone else let their dealers hold on to their wallets between purchases?

[3 Points] None:

They took 22 dollars as a tip for their services without your permission. Happens all the time with dispute money. Lmao oh whale.

[3 Points] Blugputts:

Their mixer is broke or scam city.

[2 Points] s093man:

Its going down lmao my eth just got skimmed missing about 80% of coin btc keeps bouncing back and loosing small amounts also

[2 Points] DruggieBear:

Just to play devils advocate here...would this possibly be from transaction fees?

With what the fees are right now maybe if their tumbler sends around to a whole bunch of different bitcoin addresses and add up all the transaction fees might be around what people are saying is missing

[1 Points] murderhomelesspeople:

What does the tx id show?

[1 Points] whatisopsec:

I had 3% skimmed on a few hundred in a withdrawal

[1 Points] young_k:

I don't think we should be surprised...

[1 Points] Throwaway335545:

AB is garbage...Just exit already

[1 Points] LucySeesDiamonds:

My last wd was 25$ short. I checked the btc transaction fees, that's were the money went. You have to consider you sometimes receive five or more transactions with 700 sat/b fee.

It doesn't make any sense for them to skim BTC. They make huge amounts of money the legitimate way, by fees.

Skimming, and therefore alienating the userbase, over what is a small time amount of money, is straight up retarded.

I know your first instinct is to assume you're being conned, you're on a drug market. But use common sense. Think of it like an ongoing enterprise - why would the other person cheat you if it fucks their future profits ?

They're having technical issues most probably. Also, it's best for your mental state if you don't jump straight to scam - less stress on yourself ha

I fucking hate withdrawing money from Alphabay, It's so fucking annoying. The only reason why I use that stupid market is because my favorite vendors are on it. If they were on Hansa I wouldn't use it anymore.

You must have at least 0.01 btc to withdraw your money. Even if I have more than 0.01 btc it would say "Amount is not in your balance" So if I have like $45.00 in my wallet and it shows me that error message. I would attempt to withdraw $44.80 for example then it would withdraw the money but it would leave back some change which I personally don't want. Its my money and I want to withdraw the full amount.

The people running Alphabay are fucking assholes. This is the only market which I always have difficulties withdrawing money.

ahhhh wish i had just kept all my bitcoins for investment back in the days of SR1

[0 Points] discounthqweed:

This has been going for about a month I noticed. Support told me they where working on it. There not exit scamming but last time I heard this happen was sr1 when the homeland security mod was jacking SR1 vendors. I know someone who got jacked for $3000k back than. They where selling about $50k a day and thought they wouldn't notice. Luckily the good DPR refunded. I could be a mod.... I could be a bug. Either way thats a lot of money being collected

I have 0.005 that I found on AB. Tried withdrawing, but now the minimum is 0.01 (???) so I need to deposit more money to withdraw my own money. Smells fishy.
