[Cryptocurrency] How long can i (not should i) keep coins in my local bitcoin wallet?

does it really matter?? even if i used them for a non illegal way can i just store them there until i need them? or is that a no no? i mean i normally just send them to my gambling site then over to the market as a sort of tumbler, but just wondering if i can store them on LBC?

You can keep them there as long as you want. The only thing to worry about is the site you have them on going down or being hacked. I like to keep little bits in wallets in a few different places kind of like hiding $5 bills around the house.

Storing BTC in any online wallet isn't recommended. If the site goes down, say good bye to your Bitcoin.

Localbitcoin did have a week long outage about a year ago, my coins were stuck and everyone thought they were exit scamming like MtGox because that was hot shit at the time. I wouldn't leave my coins on LBTC, just my 2 cents from a longtime local BTC user.

You can keep them there as long as you want....just keep in mind that you truly don't have control of your coins unless you have access to the private keys.

ELECTRUM. It's a local wallet, don't run the risk of losing your bitcoins.
