That's the last thing Bitcoin and we need

After the terrible terroristic act in Paris where more than 120 people allegedly killed by IsIs, ghost security linked a Bitcoin wallet to the attackers in Paris. They said they had access to funds of 3 million eur. Other wallets linked to Isis are funded with not less than 23 million monthly.

So is this that point government needs to fight Bitcoin. ? I am Not an expert but with so many freedom related things the war and terrorism was a nail in the coffin. https://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/ghostsec-isis-bitcoin-wallet-worth-3-million/

They won't kill or take over BTC. Just fight enough to audit, tax & regulate it :P

Btc will not go away but we need an alt just for markets to keep our privacy.

Vendors can exchange for btc if they wish.

I think it's a positive for bitcoin, IMHO. Helps dispel the myth that bitcoin is anonymous. I'd like to see them track all usd and euro monies used by terrorists. Bet it is a significant amount more then the bitcoins used.

I could come up with some nicer things to do with

acces to 3m in bitcoins, or am I being weird now?

Sounds like the income of a market...

Tinfoil hat here but, AlphaBay funds ISIS?

[1 Points] young_k:

ISIS with bitcoin? I wonder how they cash out, localbitcoins? That'd be a scary transaction in Iraq/Syria/wherever.

[1 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

If you use localbitcoins, type "Pyongyang" or "Tehran" as your location. There can't be any bitcoin trading in North Korea or Iran, can there?

THERE IS A SHITLOAD! Although all the North Korean traders offer identical prices.

Bitcoin is loved by these governments. Its the ultimate sanctions-buster

[1 Points] DinoNeedsMe:

I mean it's not like they aren't using cash too

[1 Points] hagbard-23:

News about an ISIS wallet came out months ago and nothing happened. They make way more money from oil sales than through bitcoin.

[1 Points] MO_Drugs:

The biggest threat from isil is not bitcoin, it is encrypted devices and privacy in general. Terrorists have done fine with fiat - they are thriving with iPhones.

If the government can't regulate or gets what they want: violence, terrorism, and/or false flag will do the trick /tinfoilhat.
