Should one wait to buy on Agora since there was a btc price crash today?

BTC had a crash today, if you bought some coins should you wait to spend them until the price recovers? Ie. Are prices on Agora fixed to USD or to BTC?

If you bought at $600 and its now $450 then the market just stole 25% from you. That $400 ounce you just bought has now cost you $500. BTC will come back up to $600, theres been some trader bots that just flashed crashed and all the sheep who sold with it. Give it a month.

Nobody knows the future price of bitcoin. As far as prices go, they are pegged to USD, but if your BTC holdings have lost value they could lose more value or they could go back up in value. It's impossible to say.

Depends at what price you bought btc at compared to where it is now.

I think you'll be good so long as you can buy the BTC, get access to them, and then use them for a purchase all within a very short period of time, hopefully 2 hours, that way you don't give the price time to fluctuate and screw you over. This is about the best option until this shitmess gets sorted out.

I think itll climb back up,i hope at least, it was like as soon as id gotten one whole btc in my wallet it started falling. Fuckin shit mane.. the same things that make you laugh can also make you cry

If everyone knew the value of BTC would rise back up, it would already be back up at 600. Currency prices are unpredictable. You could wait for the value to go back up, but it could equally well continue to crash. May as well just buy your drugs now and invest in more BTC if you expect the value to rise again.

why would they be fixed to BTC?

I love when BTC goes down. The lower the better, and that'a when I buy. I just hate when they go down AFTER I buy. Lol. I usually buy whenever they are in the 400's and lower, and spend when they break 550+

I wouldn't call recent days a crash relative to bitcoin. Some variance was due to hit the market at some point. There isn't a lot of support until you get to the $250-$350 range. There may not be much support if it does sink that low.

I speculate that some infomation from the recent SR coin auction may be leaking causing a momentary (by BTC standards) dip.

I personally see this as an opportunity. As an avid bitcoiner, I wish people bought BTC for more than just speculation and DNMs. Unfortunately BTC isn't there yet. I personally believe it will get there. However, it may never be there.

If you are spending cash today for bitcoin today to get something you want to buy TODAY - you need to get your BTC today and get your order out like the BTC is a hot potato. Otherwise, now is a good time to buy some BTC for future use.

Hope this helps.

this is a different topic altogether, but what btc vendors would you suggest for speed of transaction and low fees? i've lost so much money the past few days from the crash and fees on coin.mx, so what are my other options? btc-e or local? sorry for newbie question. go easy.
