How much money should you keep inside your market wallet?

Well, how much money should you keep inside your market wallet? Right now I think I have around 15$, planning to send ~50$ soon to buy some stuff. I usually send very little to test if the market is exit scamming or anything. But I suppose you shouldn't keep like 1000$ laying around in there, right? Should I just transfer the BTC the day of my purchase?

EDIT : I guess the amount is none. I transfered out my couple of bucks last night. Thx guys

None, never keep BTC in a market wallet after you've purchased your goods.

I only have spare change on there under a dollar

yeah, don't transfer until you are ready to purchase and transfer the remainder back off site when finished.

Unless your trying to buy something, or a vendor who's got money in escrow or something...I wouldn't keep any money in someone else's wallet.

Why not just transfer a few percent much than the item cost plus shipping cost and then withdraw it post purchase, assuming the purpose of the money on the market is to avoid having to transfer a few pennies should you end up with insufficient funds

A dollar so you can't be arrested for vagrancy......oh wait....

I usually keep no more than 0.1btc for future postage costs. Though there are a few occasions where I have built up the "spare change" from previous orders and I may just keep.it on the market ready incase a new vendor is offering samples, but usually once a month, whatever I have managed to save up, goes towards me getting a couple of grams of a Sativa strain (BF has just stopped drinking and he tends to much prefer Indica strains, which I don't mind too much, but its a hassle trying to find a vendor that stocks a strain that he's happy with, who also uses escrow, as I will rarely FE with a vendor I haven't used before, unless he has exceptional feedback).

Obviously I'm prepared to lose whatever is left in my wallet, but I've been pretty lucky. With exit scams and site seizures, I have lost about £15 altogether, which I cant complain about.
