[rant]Vendors: If you don't ship same day, please stop saying you do!

I ordered from two vendors yesterday hoping one would arrive today. Both vendors had a time limit: order before x for same day shipping. I ordered first thing in the morning 5 hours before the deadline. Today over 24 hours later, both orders are still open and unaccepted. Fine they didn't arrive today, I know I was being hopeful, but it might have made a difference if vendors offering to ship the same day actually ship the same damn day! I won't mention names, but I won't be ordering from either vendor again.... dammit straight after I found a reliable guy on BB.

Edit: I ordered Friday, one was marked as Shipped late Saturday night, the other marked Sunday evening. If they shipped Saturday it could have been here today... but the post is empty. I am a reliable buyer looking for a reliable vendor. Two vendors have sadly ruled themselves out already. Both advertise same day shipping, neither shipped on the same day, nor even the next.

That's a stupid thing to say as a vendor. What if you're asleep that day?

Then you're a liar. And people don't like them.

[8 Points] ForDNMuse:

Tell us who it was so we can avoid them as well. I'm a stickler for the holding the seller to their word on their info page.

Agreed !! This is pissing me off as well.

Thank you!! I am thinking that same exact thing today. I also placed 2 orders with vendors that have cutoff times listed in their profiles and they still haven't shipped (I placed the orders at 7AM.) Now they also don't ship on weekends apparently... very frustrating.. if you are going to post it in your profile (and usually vendors are persistent on buyers reading their profiles), then do it... If not, don't post it... I understand..

Yes yes yes! A million times yes! Jesus fuck.... especially when your dealing pretty addictive substances... not having weed is like meh not having any other drug is like fuck kill me

[5 Points] SirDolo93:

ALSO, IF YOU DON'T SELL UNCUT/PURE/74%/85% OR W.E YOU WISH TO CALL YOUR PRODUCT, THEN STOP CLAIMING YOUR PRODUCT AS SO!.

[3 Points] bobbiggs69:

You know the problem with vendors doing this is that people often need to know when their package is coming so they can make arrangements to retrieve it. USPS is reliable enough that if you know when it was sent you know when you'll receive it.

I used to get packs sent to hotels regularly because I traveled 99% of the year. It got to the point where I couldn't even order express anymore because vendors sat on them too long before shipping and I didn't want to risk not being there anymore.

Also stop saying their product is "the best on the darknet markets" when it's nowhere close and they know it. Talking mostly about concentreates vendors. It looks like golden shatter goodness in the pics but when it shows up it's green sappy gooey chlorophyl filled trim sugar leaf shake shit.

apologies if I was one of them. the booze jacked me up

Umm Did you do the Time zone Math?

[1 Points] throwyvonawayagain:

I used to have a couple of people on older markets who were same-day if you were in before noon their time. Every time, without fail, and they would do Priority, so you knew if you ordered on a Monday, your pack would be there Wednesday. I'm currently awaiting delivery from someone...well, lets say he refuses to ship on Saturday, so I ordered on Friday. Saturday he msgs me and says he just saw it and will ship "in early morning". I ask him on Tuesday about a delivery estimate, he says "oh, yesterday was Memorial Day, I'll ship it today". It's Saturday. No package. And I KNOW that market was working, because I ordered from another bloke on Tuesday, and his package arrived today. I try to finalize within AN HOUR of a parcel arriving, because I know vendors need their coin. If you can't be buggered to ship orders promptly, then put in your profile "yeah, we'll try to ship your stuff within a few days or so". That way people know to avoid you. I have the sneaky feeling that this guy who has been stringing me along may NOT be the same one who was giving me good service and product up until a couple months ago. Man, I wish I knew someone I could really trust off of the DNMs to respond to orders, respond to messages, etc.

[1 Points] EmmaGoldmenco0p:

Thats the thing . Since BB tons of vendors have been flooded with orders . if you payed escrow then there really nothing to bitch about since the vendor hasn't even been paid for the product . With the markets the way they are , just think it of a fast pass system with vendors right now .. you wanna skip the line and ride the ride . gotta F.E . if you wanna stay in escrow ... then get in line with the rest of the people . It totally blows watching a market close down and some dick head .. laughing about how they got there order and never paid there vendor

[1 Points] Vegetano:

problem with vendors is simply they are drug dealers and most get high on their own shit ;)

[1 Points] Drugaddicatedanimal:

I totally agree with Op, this is so fucking annoying especially if you're using a drop the buyer times the delivery by when it's shipped. I've had to burn drops and walk away from orders because of vendors not using the ship button on the day it ships. Pisses me the fuck offf.

[1 Points] blackhand25:

I would advise never to believe a vendor who claims same day or overnight shipping. I've had numerous people ask me to do that, and my answer is always the same: I am not Amazon, and do not have the ability to make any guarantees as to how quickly a package will arrive or that I will ship it out on any of my non scheduled shipping days...though I also don't try to make any claims like that, so I can understand your frustration.

That said, I do know of several vendors who don't mark orders as shipping until after they go out the door, sometimes waiting until the next day to mark it. That is likely not the case for you, but it could be.

I'd advise contacting the vendor to ask what happened and/or if it went out, and then check the postmark on the package to see if it corroborate their story.

[1 Points] Naer-Zed:

you could try understanding that these guys aren't running amazon or eBay, they're basically street dealers online

it's perfectly understandable that claims will be made that don't always hold up; they can't promise everyone the exact same service because, most of the time, it's not a team working together, more likely it's maybe a couple of guys trying to make some money

cut them some slack. Would you have placed the order if the "Same day shipping, next day delivery" claim wasn't there? it's not an unreasonable thing to promise, but sometimes shit comes up that has to be dealt with before some guy across the country can get his fix

[0 Points] procowtipper:

You're not really taking into account what time of day you make the purchase plus time zone differences. If you order something at 5:00 on the weat coast and it's 8:00 on the east the man has probably already shipped everything for that day.
