Could using a VPN potentially be more risky ?

If im correct, using a vpn is basically using another computer remotely, that could have people (who have access to your real ip) watching everything you do ?

TOR by it's self has never been enough to completely keep you anonymous, never has, never will.

Using a VPN is really nothing too big of a problem to worry about, find a trusted provider, who has terms of not keeping any sort of logs, and you will be fine.

There are other options, but just using TOR is never enough!

trust distribution across many VPN providers is the answer. Then your connection circuit would look something like this: home -> isp -> vpn1 -> vpn2 -> vpn3 -> tor -> dnm

yes, it could be. they are a weak link. they should be in a country with less surveillance, they shouldn't know who you are.

Just use Tails and a VPN wouldn't really be needed.
