Got a call for my package...

So I was living at my buddies apartment last year. They got a new place but I am taking off as I got a new job etc. lets call me "bill" and the apartment "point A"

So anyways, I order stuff to their place as I currently live with my rents. they live an hour away but whatever weekends that I visit, I pick it up

I ordered some molly to his apartment. My name was on the package

I got a call when I was at work "Hey is this bill?" "ya?" "hey I just wanted to talk to you about a package" "What package?" My heart beat faster. I realized I had ordered molly two weeks ago. It was supposed to come in about 1.5 weeks before that day. But it hadn't arrived. I connected the dots "We got a package with your name on it. The address was point A" "Where is that?" "Insert apartment's city here" "Thats strange. Maybe its a mixup?" my heartbeat calms down as I realize how much plausible deniability I have. nothing at my place even if they search it, and no criminal record "But it has your name on it. Did you order a package on insert date here?" "Naw I ordered some insert hardware parts and some insert bodybuilding supplements off amazon. But they should have come to my house" "Ok thank you sir. Carry on"

EDIT: I am parahprasing the convo from memory. at some point I asked who it was. He responded by asking "did you order a package on insert date?". I googled the number and amazon's customer service came up. but I doubt that it was amazon. I recieved ALL my amazon packages from amazon in a timely and safe manner. And I have not ordered anything from amazon in days leading up to the mentioned date or after. The only thing that should have arrived on that date for me would have been that package of molly

seems rather strange. Only a few caps of molly ordered domestically. This all happened about 1 week ago and I have gotten no calls since. Nothing concerning

How does one handle this? I figure I should stop ordering anything (minus the standard stuff. Hardware parts, kratom etc.) to my personal location. I don't order anything alarming or sketch to my current address anyways

My buddies' place will obviously not have stuff ordered too. Should I stop ordering anything with my name on it?

Have you guys gotten a call? What did you do from that point forth?

EDIT2: I have ordered legal legit stuff to their place when my family and I were traveling for a few months. As recently as a few days before this incident I was ordering multiple legal and normal things that I genuinely needed to this address with my name on it. So it shouldn't be that alarming As such, I should have my name in their server. USPS and the apartment building owners. I lived for a while till recently

Maybe it was a very friendly postman who wanted to ask if he could have some of your molly

Who called you? Your post doesn't specify

I read a while back about someone who ordered to a PO box. Cops googled his name and tried (unsuccessfully) to perform a CD at his house.....

If someone (LE or a postal worker) was even remotely suspicious of a package of yours, they arent going to just ring you up on the phone. That isnt how any investigation goes.

I mean think about it...thats a really dumb way for them to try to get info to hold against you.

So point A is not ur residence and your not listed as a resident by usps..
