Tip jars

Ive seen more and more vendors coming out with this BS.

Is is just an American thing? (I only look at and buy from 1 international vendor.)

Is it a way to pad reviews? What are other peoples opinions on it?

Personally, I wouldn't tip my favorite vendor... Just like I wouldn't tip my street dealer.

Instead I say nothing but high praise, and get them more business.

Anyways, just curious on what others opinions are.

It's BS and I'd never do it. I don't tip Tesco when I buy my shopping either

I always give my guy all my btc.

I order the biggest sale I can. Use the add-on for whatever amount I can. Then use tip jar for the rest.

It's not only American thing, EU vendors do it too.

A load of BS.

I will never purchase from a vendor with a tip jar.

I put mine there to charge people for custom services. sometimes people want to order a sheet of acid but have it sent to two addresses, well, sure if you pay double the shipping charge -- pay it with the tip jar...etc. sometimes people do give me a tip with it, which i actually didnt expect. haha.

If I like the product I'll tip. If you eat a restaurant and like the food do you tip? I've tipped a few times but the vendors I tipped had tip jars amounting to $0.10. A ten cent tip isn't bad at all and like 90% of the time I go to a sonic drive thru (fast food), if the change is < $.10 then they just keep the change instead of even asking for a tip. That shit pisses me off a lot more than just asking for it.

I can see why it's there, but I would never do it. Maybe if you got extras with your next order or it went towards vendors offering sales or samples.

I do t tip my crack dealer why should I tip my online meth dealer?

I have a $5 tip jar. I only created the listing because a customer reached out and felt we went above and beyond with our services. Told the guy it wasn't necessary but he was very adamant.

That being said, it sure beats the hell out of making a new custom listing every time someone wants an odd increment. I can tell them to buy X amount of the tip listing equaling the prorated price of the requested increment rather than making a new listing for each person. It's much more convenient than cloning a listing, editing it, and uploading a photo for it (which you have to do even when cloning).

i tip the ones that i trust. the type of vendors that go out of their way just to make sure you, as a consumer, is taken care of. a tip is small change to show my gratification.
