Odd request: Are there any markets that sell blood pressure medication?

My cat is in the final stages of renal failure and we are trying to make her life as comfortable as possible. She is nearly 18 years old, and her problems keep growing. Her most recent problem is we believe she has high blood pressure due to many symptoms such as blindness, and hot ears, and her last vet visit the doctor told us she believed she had it.

We don't want to take her to the vet again because it is a very traumatic experience for her, and she shakes in fear every time. I am looking for enalapril, linisopril, benazepril, or captopril. I would appreciate any information you guys know of.

edit: I made this post without my girlfriends knowledge. Upon her knowledge of it, she is very uncomfortable self medicating, and we will probably try to find a veterinarian that makes house calls. Thank you all for your advice.

Maybe you should get her put out of her misery rather than prolonging her life uncomfortably and artificially.

There's stuff like "Bro chill dudes, where do I sign up for the drugs" and then there is this.

I like this. I wish you luck OP.

Have you tried looking at oversees CLEARNET sites?

[3 Points] None:

www.alldaychemist.com

They're legit and have been around for years

I have some Propranolol (20mg tablets) and I can make you up a few Xanax dropper bottles (as many mg as you want). The two drugs can be safely combined.

For non controlled pharmaceuticals the clearnet is probably the best way to go about this. Look up some trusted online pharmacies/vendors at ioplist.com and see if any of them stock the drugs you want.

I'm sorry about your cat. We put down our 14 year old pug on Wednesday. It was also a grey area, and the hardest thing I've had to do. We made the decision Monday, and she had two bad days. Then Wednesday it was like she was back to normal. I didn't want her to suffocate and suffer so I just gave her the best day I possibly could and spent the day with her and then took her in late afternoon.

I understand the way your gf feels, but really, it can't be about her comfort. It has to be about the cat. It's never going to be the right time, and it's never going to be easy. But at some point it has to be done. God damn I miss my dog... :'(

You can get aldactone aka spironalactone from the good ole www. With no problems. It's a blood pressure medication that is also used for HRT in transsexuals. Alldaychemist or inhousepharmacy. All day chemist is cheaper and maybe a little faster. ADC ships from India and IHP from Vanuatu (highly doubt it's actually Vanuatu but yeah)

pharmacyreviewer.com is a good resource for clearnet markets.

Anti-hypertensive drugs are going to have the effect of decreased kidney function which is seen through elevating blood creatanine, and BUN. It is extremely common for older cats to have kidney disease. In fact, high blood pressure is often a sign of reduced blood flow to the kidneys. If there is a great strain on the kidneys already, injudicious use of blood pressure medicine can cause low renal artery flow to be come dangerous and can precipitate a crisis.

It would be a very good idea to have a vet to do a metabolic panel before starting treatment of the blood pressure. Renal failure is not a pleasant way to go. I know you don't want to cause your cat more suffering in your attempt to make her feel better. I used to work in a hospital and the only thing that scares me is the ward where they took people with renal failure to die. It was a nasty place.

I feel your pain. I've had 2 cats die in the last three or so years, and I've one more who is at least 18 years old and is becoming very frail. I'm very sorry for you.
