Taking computer in for service?

I was wondering if there are any preventative measures I need to take after using DNM's before taking my computer in to get checked out? It's been running really slow and glitchy. I know people have been caught for child porn by taking their computers in for service, so I was wondering if you could also possibly get caught using the DNM's. My security has been pretty low since I only buy personal amounts, I know I have vendor's PGP keys saved on text files for instance. Should I delete tor and pgp before taking it in?

hun...what's Taking a computer in for service mean?

Seriously you should figure out TAILS and this would be a non issue. So until you can do that if you want to be super paranoid safe remove tor and put the pgp keys on a flash drive if you must. I figure you could just get them back anyway if you just delete them now. With your computer running slow there is a good chance the real people you don't want in your shit might already be there.

Backup anything DNM related onto a USB drive. Then delete.

If you have the time just learn computers. You don't mention the specs of your PC so it might just be old and slow as shit due to it being old.

Furthermore learning how a computer works is good stuff.... have you run AdAware, Spybot, AVAST yet? They are all free and could save you $$ and the hasle and the risk.

As someone in that profession, we really don't care. Tor isn't flagged as a virus by any software I know of, and as long as you don't keep a folder on your desktop called 'Darknet drug transactions' with loads of info and pretty pictures if you holding drugs, it won't be an issue. If you have any more specific questions feel free to pm me.

Its not like they are going to lube up the chassis and it will run fast again. Just do a full format and reinstall the os/drivers and it will be as good as it was brand new.
