lubing up my drop -- is this safe?

So finally I have found a drop to use. Its a house which hasnt had any tennants for awhile now (for OPSEC reasons wont go more into detail, but there definitely wont be anyone living there anytime soon due to logistics, nothing legal tho so the post office wouldn't know no one is there.)

My friend has access to the mail area for this house, keys and all.

I just started sending bogus freebie mail under a name I made up. I presume after a few weeks / a month of receiving random mail under this new name I should be good to go? The post office would just assume thats a tennant of the residence? Just to clarify I am NOT using the name of a previous tennant (to avoid possible mail forwarding); i made up a new one. Just want to make sure this doesn't qualify as using a "fake name" which I know is a huge no-no. I presume "fake name" refers to when ordering to your own home.

Idea is the pack will land, we let it sit for a few days or a week, friend goes in with keys at like 3:30am and retrieves the pack. Totally not traceable to us.

This sound safe?
