I had all my dnm information written down on a piece of paper but I unfortunately lost that paper a few weeks ago. I remembered all my passwords for my AlphaBay account but I haven't used it since I lost the paper. I can even log into my account by decrpyting the message they send at the beginnning which I believe is 2-FA.
Long story short, I deposited some coin into the market and was about to make an order but I was unsuccessful because the one thing I don't remember is my PIN. So, I have about $60 on the market that I can't use to purchase AND I can't withdraw because I don't have my PIN. The only way to recover your PIN is by typing out the sentence they give you when you first make your account. Am I shit out of luck with this account? Is there ANY WAY I can still make my order?
EDIT: Well, I opened up a ticket and they closed it 5 minutes later basically saying I'm shit out of luck and to create another account. There goes a $60 lesson! Don't make the same mistake I did.
EDIT 2: I opened up another ticket and provided my password and public pgp saying that I could decrypt anything they sent me encrypting my pgp. I basically begged them to give me access back to my account. They said they can't do anything without my mnemoric. I understand that I fucked up, but don't you think I should be able to prove the account is mine with the password AND pgp??? I feel like they just do that on purpose and make sooo much money off people who made the same mistake as I did.
Shit handwriting on piece of paper must be pretty bad against OPSEC ...
