[Vendor/MarketInquiry] Australian DNM

Are there any Australians on here that would be interested in a DNM made and hosted in Australia by Australians. This would basically just be a domestic market to lower risk and would give you the ability to really see what the Australian market has to offer. This is an expression of interest so if there is not enough people behind the idea it will not go ahead.

Unnecessary. All of the bigger markets have a filter that let's you just show australia.

And I definitely wouldn't use a small market in any case.. Too much risk there.

I feel like you wouldn't want it hosted in Australia. Maybe China or Russia, but I'm not an expert on that kind of stuff.

I've been thinking about this since the takedown of Evo.

I think it would be good if there was a market specifically for the Aussie buyers & vendors. Would be easier for us to find each other and would probably bring about a lot of new vendors. It obviously would be a small marketplace in comparison to others, butthe ease of having the majority of the whole Australian DNM community in the one place just seems appealing to me as I only ever look at international vendors to drool over the cheap prices and nothing more.

If not a marketplace, then at least a dedicated forum would be good - again, a place for the aussie community to openly talk and keep in contact, plus could act as a platform for vendors/buyers to connect for off-market deals.

Like stated already though, just because it's an Australian market doesn't mean the server has to be located in Australia and if it were it still doesn't necessarily mean it would be faster.

Also, it would have to be a solid marketplace like QLDGeat has said (a decentralized marketplace isn't a must for me, though I know a lot of other people are pushing for it which may be a deciding factor...) and a good team of staff is a must - preferably reputable vendors/community members.

If such a marketplace came about (legit & secure) I'd definitely give it a go. If the bulk of Aussie vendors opened up shop there then it would soon become my number 1 marketplace.

why don't you start a /r/darknetmarketsoz
like the nz one /r/darknetmarketsnz

Wouldn't bother. Market forums act as such, and given the risk vs reward, it just ain't worth it.

It seems at the moment that AFP aren't that interested in the markets themselves, and are happy to leave these investigations to FBI/Europol and focus on customs seizures. Wouldn't opening an Aussie only market increase pressure on them to go after it and also domestic vendors/buyers?

Yes, very hard to get any vendor to send #4 here, there was one aussie that sold pebbles, anyone know if his still around?

Yeah I was mainly thinking hosting local for the sake of availability. I would consider overseas hosting if it was stable.
