Irish Customs showing me some lurve....

So I had one of those orders a number of weeks ago where I was left with a small amount of bitcoin in my wallet, browsed the smaller listings for hash on Nucleus and found one that fit my budget. Oddly enough, and unknown to me at the time, both vendors I ordered from that day are located in the same city in Spain. Both would have come through the Irish Customs centre at roughly the same time. Only one arrived though, the bigger one that had really good stealth. I thought little of it for another week and then messaged the vendor to ask for an extension on the escrow. Instead he offered me a full refund, I left it at a 50/50 split though as he was so good about it. Roughly 2 weeks later I put in another order with the other vendor, the one who got the stuff through. That was shipped on a Thursday and arrived the following Tuesday, again with brilliant stealth.

Nothing else was expected from any vendor, and I had all but forgotten about the smaller order.

A few days ago an odd letter turned up at my drop address. It was from that Spanish city, postmarked around the time I placed the two orders on the same day. It had been torn open, the hash removed, a love letter put in, and sealed back up with masking tape. Loads of masking tape. Cheap bastards.

Sharing this for two reasons:

1) To put to bed some of the theories in this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/2xohyt/i_got_a_love_letter_for_2_grams_of_weed_is_it_no/?ref=search_posts , namely those that believe the vendor was pulling a fast one by mocking up a love letter and posting it to the customer. It seems customs, Irish customs at least, are quite happy to let the outside packaging continue its journey to the customer, minus its precious contents. I'll also post redacted pics of the front and back of love letter further down.

2) To find out what you all think about the second order from the other vendor getting through. I would have thought that once customs find something like this in the mail that the address would be watched closely, even before test results return confirming the item found was illegal? How the hell did a quarter get through from the same city, unscathed, showing no sign of tampering? I'd nearly get another small order sent there just to see what happens. It's a burnable address, was a fake name on the packages (don't roll your eyes, my circumstances permit it), really curious to see it it get's through, or if a new postman turns up to deliver it etc. Anyways....

Seems more like a scam to me. Your drop would have been flagged.

Had a shit ton of stuff delivered to my house when I lived in Ireland under my name. A couple of times stuff never arrived but 90% of the time it did and we're talking 20+ shipments of all types of drugs ranging from pills to weed.

I've no idea what happened to the couple of shipments that never made it through. The vendor always gave a reship and they arrived fine, never got a seizure letter or anything. Also worth mentioning the lost items were LSD and weed. I can understand weed being picked up but LSD....no way.

/u/AngryEndaKenny I got a love letter from Irish customs and It came in an envelope, it was from the medicines board though as it was anabolic steroids, so maybe its differant for recreational drugs. Ive never had drugs get caught. hope that helps

I think a lot of people on this subreddit exaggerate a tad bit on how big of criminals they are and how badly their governments want to get them for a drug the world is quickly ceasing to give a shit about.
