Is there a dark net market for kidneys?

If not, why not? Selling kidneys is illegal in the US and there is a huge demand for them. Why not make a market for this?

How do you ship a kidney without it spoiling? The freezer packs like with Pharma HGH?

Imagine getting robbed for a half gram of dope. You're out 50 bucks.

Now think of getting sent a fake (lol) kidney. Now youre out a few grand

are these for a transplant? you can only keep the kidneys on ice for a day then it will be dead meat and the blood types have to match and your body can still reject the kidney you have to be on anti rejuction meds for the rest of this time the kidney fuctions (20-30 years if your lucky). you have to go through like half a year of testing before a live transplant and make sure you match so the logistics just dont work. (i know someone who had a transplant)

Yeah, it's known as China. Supposedly they keep prisoners/falun gong on deck ready for execution, all tested out.

How can reputational mechanisms etc work when you can't sell more than 1 kidney without dying? How safe does a system in which you have to physically show up seem?

Yes, I'm sure someone could do this, as I assume you are talking about a kidney from a living person, and not some kidney stolen from someone, and shipped your way.

Because obviously you cannot walk into a hospital with a kidney, and tell the doctors to insert it.

This would probably end up being quite expensive though. You would have to compensate the donor/seller, as well as there transportation and living expenses.

I mean, if money is not an issue, why not. I'm sure this is what happens anyways. You never hear about rich people dying from things because they could not get a spare organ.
