drop house issues?

i went to check my drop today. the package wasn't there yet (didnt expect it to be) but i opened the mailbox and saw a piece of paper, basically telling the mailman that its foreclosed and if anybody mails to there they have to put the little flag up, then i think take the package and write the name down of the recipient. i of course used a fake name. i took the piece of paper out and ripped it up and burned it. will my package arrive safely or is it compromised?

Fake name? Check. Unreliable drop house? Check. OP hasn't followed two of the biggest rules in Darknet ordering.

Do not use drops unless absolutely necessary and you are in a country that does not keep postage data (House #, Name Of Occupants, ect).

the package wasn't there yet (didnt expect it to be) but i opened the mailbox

So even if it wasn't in your name or at your house, you still are the one that is checking the box.

saw a piece of paper, basically telling the mailman that its foreclosed and if anybody mails to there they have to put the little flag up

Even if it was not foreclosed, you need to have items shipped to a legitimate house where somebody lives, preferably someone you can trust and knows you are having the items mailed. Or just mail them to yourself.

then i think take the package and write the name down of the recipient.

All this is logged anyways and can assist towards the apprehension of criminals (such as in this case).
They'll take it to the local postal facility and treat it as a low flag item (GOV ID Required for pickup)

i of course used a fake name.

Of course you also got every other package flagged using a fake name.
Do you not think in the 21st century we don't have some way of keeping a log of legitimate addresses, occupants, and quite possibly backlogs of all scanned mail labels (to, from, ect)?

i took the piece of paper out and ripped it up and burned it.

What are you, 13?

You don't think they have another copy, or perhaps some automated system to reroute mail (they do).

will my package arrive safely or is it compromised?

IF this is a serious inquiry then please stop ordering illegal items online until you figure out a safe method. You, your name and all fake names, the addresses, an anything else you put on the label is compromised.

And yes, if you routinely order packages under a fake name to a foreclosed house you are being observed if you are the one making the mail runs.

Using a fake name and an abandoned address is already REALLY stupid. If you can't safely mail it to your home or a friends home with a real name on it of someone that lives at that address then you shouldn't be buying anything from a DNM

That probably wasn't a good idea. I'm pretty sure that would be considered mail fraud; which is a very serious felony.

Second post in 24 hours about some moron using an abandoned house to have shit sent to.

What you dumb fucks don't understand is that you are not only compromising yourselves, you're compromising the vendor. When that package doesn't get delivered, it gets returned to sender. And since the return is usually a fake, USPS has the right to open the package and see its contents.

[3 Points] gh6789:

you might be ok but I really think the mailman knows who lives there. They usually don't deliver or will ask the residents if something is mailed to a house with an unfamiliar name.

They have an idea of the names of the houses they go to. They do the same route every day. They notice unfamiliar names. Or if they deliver to an empty house.

You don't think the mailman notices if they suddenly have to deliver a package to a house they drop off nothing to every day? I'm thinking they're gonna notice.

They should know if it's foreclosed.

That's like the number 1 rule not to do.

Send mail to your address in your name.

This is pretty disheartening...This is why i always say these people shouldnt be allowed to use the site until they at least check the forums a little. Make a few threads mandatory fro newbs to read. Opsec, shipping and recieving packages, etc,

[2 Points] Dram-it-all:

Why are you assuming your package has yet to arrived? There's also the possibility that it already arrived and the homeowner picked it up. It also might explain why the letter was in the mailbox in the first place.

how does one safely order drugs from the darknet? SWIM cannot use his own address (19 living with parents, parents will go thru mail), and SWIM does not have a PO box. how safe is using a fake ID to open a PO box? are there other alternatives?
