I was browsing through alphabay the other day looking for a hacked VPN I could get on the cheap. I managed to get the cheapest one by some vendor whos name I can't even remember! Anyways I bought what turns out to be a completely free tool, just go to http://www.vpngate.net/en/ download the client and connect to whatever server you want; I like to use hong kong / China / Ukraine / Venezuela.
A lot of these keep logs apparently for like 2 weeks but If you choose a country that isn't friendly to US you should be mostly fine.
Like anything keep in mind nothing is 100% secure. Stay safe everyone. and FUCK CISA!!!
Just a heads up guys, free VPNs are typically not as secure as paid ones (you get what you pay for).
Also worth noting that the location of a server doesn't impact how/if logs will be kept, it's all about the location of the parent company that runs the server.
This VPN appears to be run by University of Tsukuba in Japan. I'm willing to bet they keep logs of everything. For securing your privacy, a VPN like this is fine, but I wouldn't trust it for anything illegal. Good guide though, CISA can suck my dick.
