Paranoid about buying first tme. Should I use old apartment dwellers name?

I often times get mail for the girl who used to live in my apartment. Would it make sense to use that as my delivery name? I know people say don't use fake names, but I thought this might be ok since I already get mail with her name on it anyways.

Thanks

No. Use your real name and a reliable vendor and it'll look like any other mail. A lot o us have been doing this a long time and that's the best and safest way.

The Grand Wizard can answer your question with a single word: no.

You may receive catalogs, credit card offers and junk mail addressed to the previous tenant. Do you regularly receive first class mail or priority packages? If not, chances are she put a forward in place and your package will be sent on to her new address. She may not be expecting a fat ounce of kind bud and may even call the post office to ask why she is receiving these packages. (Some people insist on looking gift horses in the mouth). This may lead to the authorities asking the new tenant -- that is, you -- if he knows anything about it.

Also if you use the previous dwellers name there is a chance they put a forward in place at the P.O. Even if you are getting some of her mail, its possible. Real name, reliable vendor as sam stated.

I wouldn't.

no. when you move you fill out a change of address form and mail gets forwarded to the new address.

chances are they would receive your product at their new address.

This is a hot topic, will always be. If you still regularly get old tenants mail then it's worth a try if the vendor ships first class. For priority it's possible address forwarding might still be in effect. Try with small packages you fe for, then the vendor still gets paid for your experiment.
