Do they ask for ID when you get a "does not fit" slip in a PO Box?

Anyone have experience with this? If only my name is under the PO box and I get a "does not fit" slip that you'd bring to the front desk, if someone else has the slip and knows the box number do they ask for ID? Just wondering if I can have someone else pickup my pack for me or if they verify that the person picking up the package matches the name on it by checking ID.

Every single time I’ve gone all you have to is hand them the pink slip that’s in your box. They go get the package, scan it, and hand it to you. Sometimes I haven’t had to say anything except have a good day at the end. :)

I would double check online but I'm like 99% sure the answer is no, they don't require ID, but they might make you sign a pink slip

Sometimes i did when i first opened my box so they can verify my id matched the addressed name. i would be 110% sketched out if i had to sign for it along with my id tho

Depends. Having different similar aged people go to a PO box not in their name might get kinda fishy too....

Yes, I used a PO box for all my DNM activity and they always ask for ID when picking up a package but it's all just normal activity. I had to do that well over 10 times for my packages.

it really depends on the Post Office, I rented out the smallest PO box available and order stuff on the dnm and amazon where the packages are way to big to fit in the size box i have. I dont get a slip telling me to collect at the front desk, they always put a key in my PO box that opens a larger size box

yes, also, protip, your ID does not have too be used, can be anyone elses, had to pick up pack there and used grandpas ID and they did not care.
