Well played Oasis...

Everyone is looking at the 150 BTC Oasis made from their exit scam while in fact Oasis probably made most of their money from their Pump&Dump (tm) game they pulled of with their Monero stunt.

They where the first market to support Monero and they also where the first to know Monero was going to get accepted on the dark-web. By simply taking long positions and buying loads of Monero just before they made their announcement they most likely made huge amounts of money, way more than 150 Bitcoins.

At a certain point the Monero bubble started to burst because there was nobody actually using the shitcoin. So maybe they sold their Monero last week or they sold it at the top, no way to know. But personally I believe the 150 BTC was just pocket money for them. They made way more with their pump&dump scheme and insider trading information, more than enough to retire.

Either way I am very sad their gone, I really liked their market. :(

Luckily I only had about 40 euro's in escrow. :)

But apparently me and some other users like /u/MDMangel weren't so crazy to warn people about the Monero hype. :D

We lost a respectable amount of money in the Oasis exit, and would formally like to say "fuck Oasis".

That's all.

I hated how everyone was on their dick just cuz they responded nicely. When will people learn that the ones who are supper nice and reply to every comment are just putting on a facade. I don't even think it was to help pump an fund monero just to seem like the new cool and hip market . Also to seem like they were gonna stay around awhile . Does anyone else think it's funny how everyone loves these lil sites that pop an say there way less sketchy that AB . Look at all the ones that have gone. Just stick to AB people

Well..... the Monero bubble didn't burst. It's up at 8.20USD ish currently, from like... 3.00USD a month and change ago. Sure, it was up at 11 or 12USD a couple of weeks back, but this is what happens in stocks and other investments. Things go bull, things go bear, and the cycle repeats.

Also, this was not "insider trading" info - they CREATED the info. They didn't "know that DNMs were going to accept Monero..." THEY accepted Monero.

I DO understand that you, and other people, heard the term "pump and dump" recently and jumped on THAT hype train, which is very understandable - that's how rumors start. If you were to actually spend time researching XMR, and reading through the dev posts and such, and looking to the future (the things that will be released shortly to make it a tad more user-friendly for people who are not interested enough to have to type anything in command prompt, ever), as well as the PAST two years of development, you would see that it is a steadily growing movement backed by smart developers and a good deal of private investment money.

I'm not denying that DNM involvement didn't bump XMR up a large amount - I'd be foolish to say if I knew one way or another! With a little imagination or know-how, though, it does have plenty of value already that doesn't have to include the normalcy of IRL purchases that bitcoin has allowed. Shit, XMR could fail miserably in the future, NOBODY knows, and I'm personally not going to cheerlead either way. All I DO know is that I respect the tech and the huge jump in anonymity that it provides over the current iteration of bitcoin, and it's been a very enjoyable thing to mine for, trade with, and learn about.

I'm glad that bitcoin exists, and I personally think that at this point it is too big to fail miserably, but I don't know what the future holds for it, and I want to make sure that I've properly diversify my portfolio. Cryptocoins are a very unstable thing, and will continue to be so for some time to come. I think it would be pretty unwise to not keep an unbiased eye on other options, especially when many wiser people than I say "oh, this is a good thing." If you reeeeally think that all of the tech gurus that have jumped onboard with XMR in the last several months are just dumber than you and falling for some so-called buzzword-fueled pump-n-dump scheme.... well, I suppose I personally just don't think that their opinions are garbage.

Why would they make the post offering web designing/hosting services the same day they were gonna exit? I mean if you had already decided to exit, why bother making such a post, not like it changes anything.

Could be seized by LE. Inb4 comes back as their honeypot. Calling it!

[1 Points] BBMC_is_in_on_this:

BBMC is in on this. Oasis closed down, BBMC had to pack away his lab gear because his LANDLORD is redoing his shed.

Clear as day to me, unlike his cloudy MSG laden shards.

That being said, I've have stories from my meth customers that when ordering from BBMC he doesn't ask you for you address.... he has them on record, on surespot or what, but my customer recieved and order without giving away his address, and he can;t have gotten it from surespot transcripts because he cautiously deletes every message after each transaction. . Becarefull, BBMC is careless. In his egotistic mind he might think he's invisible, but by the end of this year, he will be in HM care. The amount of shit he talks, can easily be made to intelligence, as well as his videos and his countless stories from other stories. Didn't keep things quiet on there. MuscleBuilding forum. and basically incriminated himself on a site called TOTSE2.

Why is he the only one (trying) cooking atm? Where are all the other BBMC chefs? Drax etc? all the other Bond named nicknames he mentioned in the past.

Cant the BTVA (aka himself?) help create a good stroy fro yourself?

[1 Points] None:

No telling how much they made off of the websites either, they played it like a fiddle.

Oasis played everyone like a fiddle

[1 Points] slbbb:

2,000,000 XMR moved (probably to exchanges) just 5 days before the Oasis Monero integration announcement:

Funds moved on 16.08, announcement was on 21.08

[-2 Points] None:

How did they make money from monero? Your post doesnt make any sense, pump and dump?

[-1 Points] MrSkelleton:

And I had arguments with people who said Monero would crush Bitcoin instantly. Because of the anonymity.

I was warning about the Monero crap from day one. And I took heavy down votes from the shills every single day. If you still have 80 IQ, get rid of that shitcoin it provides nothing over bitcoin.
