Has anyone ever had a package damaged in transit? (specifically royal mail uk but anywhere out of interest)

Has anyone ever had their package damaged by postal workers? What happened after?

Really, this is the only way I could see a domestic order being caught, other than the package having no drugs in here written on it or something. What are your thoughts?

Do vendors generally ensure that powders have extra protection?

Royal mail UK, weed. Domestically sent. The corner of the envelope was ripped open and you could see inside; thankfully the stealth was very good and there was no smell and you couldn't see the weed itself. Arrived with an apology off my postman, and that was that.

I've had one, yes. It was in a small ish box and the box had gotten wet and torn in two corners. The holes were maybe a couple of inches each. Because of the vendors stealth my stuff wasn't able to fall out although it wasn't hidden either had anyone had looked.

RM just stuck a load of tape over the holes - my product was there, in tact so I'm assuming they didn't even look. I live in a large city with I imagine very busy sorting offices and hundreds of parcels must get damaged in transit everyday, I figured they didn't care enough to look especially when there was nothing particularly suspect looking about it in the first place.
