Finding a realistic vending partner - do I even need one? (questions for vendors and intelligent users)

I'm basically looking for tips on becoming a vendor. I understand quite a lot about this, but getting into it will be different than just an understanding of OPSEC. Here are some questions that I'd love some people with experience to answer:

1) Partner - do I need one? I am a narcotics user, although very stable and honest, so I am worried that the potential candidates I have won't be trustworthy if they are users too (they are mostly long-time drug friends who I would trust, but I would have to teach them a lot about OPSEC mainly).

2) Location - It seems like the best would be living in an urban location. What factors should I consider in this? Certainly affordability will be one (i.e. no NYC), but availability will be another. Is living in a major urban city always the best? Many large cities like SF have FBI recording devices and cameras everywhere, so maybe a suburban city could be best? I am willing to move locations for this.

3) Dropping off the packages - This is what I'm most concerned about. Let's say I get 2 dozen orders in a day. I'll have to wear gloves dropping them off. How do I do this safely? How many packages can I drop off safely? Honestly it is not very common to see people putting 10 packages in a blue-box at a time. Do I do this at night? There are cameras in cities.

4) Obtaining the drugs. A) drop houses will always be tied to myself and bring on the risk of others taking my drugs, and B) buying from a dealer has it's own risks.

Anyway, you don't have to answer every question. Just some tips and ideas would be helpful for me. I know the process of putting together a package correctly, but I do not want to be locked up so I need advice on #1-4 that will keep me safe.

  1. Only get one if you absolutely must. Every person you involve into your operation is a huge risk. It doesn't matter for how long you know them or how good, if they are really put under pressure most of them break. Don't learn this the hard way, just keep your vendor operation a one-man operation.

  2. There isn't really the one location which suits best for a vendor. However when you pick one make sure that you have several locations to drop your packages and be aware where on these routes they have cameras.

  3. Two dozens orders a day are too much to send out every day. Start small and don't get too big, after all you are running a one man operation. Wearing gloves also might be suspicious when it's extremely hot outside and you are dropping off ten packages at once. Make sure that you rotate the locations where and when you drop them off. Don't wear anything that would draw attention to you. Just imagine what a perfectly average law-abiding citizen would wear and act like one. Be friendly but not too memorable.

  4. Don't store (all) your drugs in your house. Period. If you get into trouble your house will be the first place to be under surveillance or raided. Store the majority of your products in a location that is not tied to your identity but also safe so that you don't have to worry about that someone could randomly visit it every second. If you get busted the last thing you want is charges for several pounds instead of just a few ounces.

Your "partner" should be your supplier and he shouldn't know anything about your business.

The bigger the city the better IMO. Too many people and packages, smaller town can get you profiled quick.

Note: Latex gloves still leave fingerprints (thin ones)

  1. Don't start with a partner. If you really really can't handle things yourself then consider changing your business practices first (increase your prices and delete your smaller listings) to make your volume manageable. If you're still struggling then consider a partner. The problem is adding an extra person increases the chances of other people finding out (or other such drama) massively. The only person you can trust completely is yourself.

  2. Suburbs with access to lots of different POs and drop off boxes is best. But this depends on you having access to your drugs of choice too. Just don't deal IRL and keep your suburban house looking clean and tidy.

  3. If you're flexible about location you can use something like http://www.mailboxmap.com/ to find an area with a decent number of blue boxes within a small'ish area. (https://www.localpostbox.co.uk/ does the same thing in the UK). Gloves are a good idea. But don't wear fucking blue nitrile gloves which stand out like a moron. Wear simple cotton/leather gloves which don't look out of place.

  4. Getting the drugs is one of the biggest risks IMO. If you read about a lot of darknet dealer busts it seems a lot start from vendors having large quantities being mailed to them. Never have drugs mailed to an address where you keep your stash. Try to get a clean drop.

  1. If you're not sure if you need a partner you don't. Yet. It seems a lot of busts happen from people snitching, often to save their own ass. Avoid this by telling no one that does not 'need to know'. When you can't handle the workload, then think about a partner, and know this is a serious weak point in your OPSEC.
  2. Medium to large city ideally. Suburbs often have as many or more cameras then centers (the more wealthy an area, the more cameras). But wherever you are try to blend in, dress like everyone else, drive the same car, etc. Have a cover story and build it up: job, family history, hobbies, etc.
  3. Use multiple blue boxes with a wide geographical spread. If you had two dozen packs to drop I'd say XXXXXXXX (Deleted for OPSEC ;-). PIA but you're right this is a serious issue, lot's of identical packages in the same box repeatedly will eventually draw suspicion.
  4. Not an expert on this but I'd suggest getting a PO Box, ideally not in your name, (i.e. fake ID, a whole other can of worms), or even in your own name, this at least creates some buffer from your shipping ops, which BTW would ideally not be in your home. XXXXXX (deleted for OPSEC ;-) PS. You're asking good questions to start, but know that these, as important as they are, are only the tip of the iceberg. Especially if you are moving heavy stuff, the heat goes up a lot. Stay smart, stay safe. Honestly the fact that you are a user, no matter how stable, worries me. Rule #2: "Don't get high on your own supply."

EDIT: deleted some content, that I don't even follow myself, but I don't even want anyone to think I follow any of this.

Riskiest part, in my opinion, is actually receiving bulk amounts if you're getting your supply from the darknet.

Vending as a middleman with product from public dnm offers is usually not viable because of the small profit margin and large risk. If you're resourceful enough to do it you'd be better off getting a job.

Because the margin is small you have to run a huge volume, which leads to you receiving way more drugs by mail than you can safely. Or you keep volume low and never make any money.
