EXACTLY why i refuse to order from vendors with less than 100+ deals and lots of reviews on multiple markets/forums. Even then it could still be shill accounts created by LE leaving reviews.

Well, I'd say the reason why LE can't do that, is because it's illegal! At least in europe.. or if it's not illegal, you still can't arrest somone for buying drugs from a cop... and you can't arrest somone for trying to buy drugs from a cop. at least that's the way it is in the eu..maybe it's different in i.e. the us. and LE is mostly interested in vendors..not buyers...there is not point busting a buyer if he/she cant give you a lead to a big vendor. btw..im pretty sure the cia will start pushing their coke thru DNMs pretty soon too.. but not to bust anyone..just to make more money for their black projects (maybe they will bust someone now and then too..just for their track record..)

Nothing is stopping them, but they have better use for their resources than arresting buyers for 1g of MDMA and the like.

I know in my state LE can walk around the fair grounds pretending to sell X pills and charge you with conspiracy to possess controlled dangerous substances. Basically the same thing.

[2 Points] None:

[US perspective here]

People use the term LE like it is a monolithic entity. There are around 24,000 individual police departments in the US. OP's scheme wouldn't really work for any regular police department because they would have to vend for quite a while before they got an order in their jurisdiction.

There are federal agencies (DEA, FBI, etc) that could do this. But they don't seem to have the resources to go after individual buyers.

[2 Points] ShulginsCat:

The way I see it, LE would be most interested in arresting bulk buyers - because they are most likely dealers IRL. However, the reputation and review system we have here and on the markets will make most bulk buyers stay away from new vendors and wait until they gain some reputation with smaller purchases.

So for them to do that, an LEO vendor would have to sell real drugs for a while, which would put their operation in a bad light in front of the public. Not to mention, how stupid would they look if someone ODed?

This leaves them with an easier alternative, which is to take over the account of an arrested vendor and in return promise him lenient sentencing. Then they can run this operation for a while, nailing the bulk buyers until one of them bails out and informs everyone else what happened.

[2 Points] kanad3:

There's nothing stopping them from doing it. Everyone's assuming they would bust right after you received the package.. They could easily deliver hundreds, if not thousands of packages before actually doing anything.

[2 Points] vouched:

LE cannot release a controlled substance to a civilian unless in some sort of closely monitored sting operation and even then they are using fake drugs. To conduct an investigation within the grounds of the law, selling/distributing ANY controlled substance would be a no no

[1 Points] rappercake:

What do you do if a pack goes missing or something goes wrong with the transaction? Suddenly you have drugs on the loose and the cops are directly responsible for it.

Plus they'd have to be able to communicate to every LE station in the country and be able prepare a controlled delivery anywhere in the US within 3-4 days, and the buyer still has plausible deniability in that someone else could have ordered the drugs using their address.

Entrapment is illegal in my country.
