When trying to obfuscate LE and their "mind reading software", you should always wrap the heavy duty tin foil counter clockwise around your head. Be sure to make it extra pointy on top too.

Three questions:

So i've subbed to a VPN service using tails/TOR and paid anon with btc. Can I use this vpn on let's say my personal windows machine or maybe on a linux distro that I am just mainly using for testing and developing my skillset.
I ask this because they say not to download whonix let's say straight through your ISP. So would it be reasonable to use a security oriented linux distro (suggestions please) and connect to vpn then download tor and then once on tor disconnect from vpn or should I turn it back on after connecting to tor?
My plan is to download all of the literature/guides and OSs I plan to use on a relatively secure linux distro that could be live booted. And if anyone could point me in the direction (ie online opsec guides, or authors of those guides, forums, discussion either clearnet or dark net) to get more knowledge and figure everthing out? After that I'll begin putting together my actual system that I'll be using for darknet related stuff
Thanks, guys
