The father of MDMA (and the 2c family) has passed. Thanks to this man, we felt things we didn't know were possible. Rest in peace sir.

So sad to hear this. RIP Dr. Shulgin, the accomplishments he achieved and the compounds he discovered were some of the most beneficial and important things to occur in the 20th century.

I really dislike the fact that people refer to him as "The Godfather of Ecstasy" That sounds really cliche and he was much more than that. A Pioneer of psychedelics of his time i feel is a better way to put it.

it was patented in 1912,so how old was this man when he put in the patent on mdma?

Respect to him and love to his family.

This man was a real pioneer. He is one of the reason I decided to study chemistry and pharmacology.

So that's why everyone started leeching Dirty Pictures off me. Guess it's time to watch it.
[1 Points] user9728:
Would anyone know where i can find the official procedures to synthesizing MDMA? Maybe the one, Alexander Shulgin used back then in the 1970's or a reviewed version?
2C-B instructions would be an interesting read as well.
Thank you!

I'm very sad and upset to hear the news about Dr. Shulgin's death. He was an extraordinary individual and he will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Dr. Shulgin. Much love.

I was just talking about him last night and how much of a cool guy he was. Afterwards While rolling face I asked myself "I wonder what health and condition shulgin is in?"
