On reddit we can ask for evidence and post history. On Evo, at least, the customer's username is starred out. What is stopping vendors from making 25 accounts, buying their own product, then writing bullshit reviews?
How do you spot a shill on actual markets?

Nothing stops them from doing that.
Look for inconsistencies with reviews. Are they all saying the same thing? Same first and last letter? Multiple reviews on the same date? What's their forum presence like?

What the guys said below. You can see multiple reviews from the likes of a anon profile with similar purchases and they use the same writing style. Or they say FE for trusted seller when the guy has like under a hundred buys. You can never be sure tho I've had multiple successes from the above mentioned traits just got to stay in escrow.

Most post that say "FE will update" or something of that liking are shills in my opinion. Easiest way to pad feedback fast.

Honestly a good shill isn't noticeable but some are obvious
I look for feedback from buyers with >10 purchases. Sure that's not foolproof, but I imagine more often than not that fake feedback will come from "buyers" with 1-2 purchases.
