Stealth Importance

Just how important do you guys think package stealth is? Mainly for USA domestic. Obviously it's important if you're shipping keys from colombia or something. I got curious because long before I was even aware of TORs existence, i received half pounds of weed in the mail through an IRL connect. The stealth was cringeworthy to say the least. Fake first names, handwritten labels, as well as tape on the adhesive seals.

Here's where it gets bad. No visual barrier, just transparant foodsaver bags for vacuum sealing. Highly doubt he used gloves and likely left residue all over the bags. The packages were also coming from the most well known recreational state, and i've even read news articles about this states mailing hubs very actively searching for weed. Every time it was shipped in a flat rate priority ENVELOPE. Yes, a huge bag of weed just crammed into an envelope. You could literally feel the nugs through the envelope.

Somehow, every single envelope arrived safely with no problems. Looking back I have no idea how. what are you guys thoughts?

It made it through simply because those mailing hubs do not have time to sift through every single package, so as long as you could not see the weed from the outside, they would have no reason to search it. Good stealth doesn't guarantee that shipment will go through, but it does reduce the risk of that package being search and seized. Bad stealth instead increases the chance of the package being seized.

My question is why would you order from him after the first experience with him?

I would wager that it's not very important overall, but what is important is the vendor's customers feeling safe and returning.
