USPS oddities and the season

So I have a pack from a vendor that hasn't arrived when it was supposed to. Checked tracking and it made it to my state (opposite side) and then disappeared. This is odd because i've had 2 clearnet packs come from that side of the state arrive in less than 2 days. This one however disappeared yesterday and hasn't arrived here today and will probably end up bouncing around again. Anyone else dealing with that lately? Why are packs being misrouted and bounced around lately?

I've had 2 regular, boring non drug packages I sent recently take an extra day each and route through abnormal states. I think it's probably just the higher volume this time of year + seasonal workers putting things on the wrong carts along the way.

It's the fucking holidays. We should ban these types of threads this time of the year
