This sub seemed like a good place to ask.
Received this wax today. Stable at room temperature, and looks more gold than the picture, but sizzles on nail. Is it under purged?

One thing to keep in mind that if moisture is gained by the concentrate, it will sizzle a bit on the nail. If it was put in the freezer at all (by you or vendor) there's a definite chance this happened. The thing you are really looking for is viscosity. Does the concentrate run down the parchment? Also, when you let it stand for a while, does it bubble a bit on it's own? Also, does it have a light sizzle, or does it pop and boil off your nail?
Your wax has TONS of fat plants, lipids, etc in it. So even if you spread it paper thin on your parchment you probably won't gain clarity. It looks like it was definitely whipped at some point in the process. This CAN cause residual butane to be trapped, but you can repurge that out if it's the case. But you won't be able to get the clarity without winterizing/dewaxing/

Most likely. Could be moisture as well. Look into winterizing but if you only have a g or so it's probably not worth it. Spread it thin on parchment and heat it to 100-120*. Leave it for a while...a few hours at least.

My Rice Crispies (the cereal) slightly sizzle, crack, and pop. I believe they are purged properly. Chances are it is air bubbles / water.
If it sizzles on the nail then it is under purged.
Try getting a small bit on your dabber/toothpick, anything you can burn really, and hold a lighter to it. If it is super reactive, and you will know if it is, then it is under purged.
That shit looks REALLY goopy. I would definitely test it by trying to re-purge some of it. If it's really easily purged and you see lots of bubbles, you know it wasn't purged well. If it takes a while to react and doesn't bubble a lot/immediately, it's purged decently... enough.
ALSO, spread some of it very thin on parchment and see if it looks clearer or any better.
