Evolution storing shipping information

Does it get deleted automatically or does it stay in your account purchase history forever? if someone were to get access to the website would they be able to see each shipping address provided for each purchase? or if someone gets access to your account they could easily see your info..

If you use PGP to encrypt your address then the only person that can decrypt it is the vendor. Even if Evo stores messages/shipping info they can't decrypt an encrypted message.

Always encrypt private info.

Okay, here is the guide from DNMnoobs, haven't read it personally but you can use it for reference. Here's a 4 minute video on how to use PGP on windows.

Tip: make sure that you are using the correct vendor's key. Encrypt, but do not sign.

Do you know how to use PGP? If you properly encrypt your address then in the event of a market seizure the police are left with useless information.

To answer your actual question, the shipping information (which you encrypted, right?) is deleted once the vendor marks the order as shipped. If you sent them the address in another message then that will stay for a few months unless the vendor deletes it first.

Assume that all messages you send over a market will at some point be examined by police. Anything specific to you, anything that you wouldn't be comfortable with the police seeing, PGP encrypt it. Some things don't matter; if you have a question about a listing there is no need to encrypt, but it's better to encrypt too much than too little.

Even if they did, it's encrypted, then vendor deletes the msgs, and the vendors can only read the msg. Even if the feds has the msg, they can't read it. 4096 PGP has NOT been cracked by NSA.
