PO box security

I've recently had to switch from a home address to a PO Box. I was wondering if it would be good for me to send spam mail to my PO box as well as DNM packages in order to cover myself? Or, does that zero difference in terms of OPSEC by doing that? I'm just a wee bit worried that receiving only packages would flag my box, or did someone just probably place a nicely fitting tin foil hat on my head without my knowledge?

I have a box. All I receive is packages and envelopes. I even got hit with a double whammy last week - had packages stuffed in one of those nifty lockers AND had a pickup slip waiting on me. Nothing out of the ordinary happened, and they obviously let me leave with my packages.

Don't know why people wig-out over getting a P.O. box.

Motherfucker flood that shit with freebies.

It certainly wouldn't hurt anything to have junk mail sent to your PO. So long as the stealth is good you don't really have to worry any more than if it was sent to your home address though.

I think my local PO just automatically forwards all my mail to my box. The town is small enough that your face & name are memerorable, unless you're a recluse.

Shit, I moved back to this area after a few years and the mail lady remembered me and has even sorted mail to me from an old address.

INstead of sending a bunch of spam mail why not just order a shit ton of packs at once? same concept. a package is a package. no one knows the diffrence between a bunch of spam mail and a bunch of "drug" mail lol..... just order some stuff. dont worry about "priming" your p.o. box. ive had a p.o. for a year now. I get like 3 packages a week and ALL of them are drugs. I honestly dont think ive gotten a single "real" piece of mail sent to my p.o. box since i opened it

I had the same thought process so I signed up for a bunch of junk mail. Now I'm no longer in need of the box but the junk mail will all be forwarded to my next address. And then forwarded to the next and the next... Don't sign up for it. It. never. stops. coming.

I don't necessarily have much spam sent to mine, but I'll send a small amazon or ebay order there or something once in a while, just for other types of mail. Probably not necessary but gives more peace of mind. But still about 80% of the things sent to my box are from DNMs.
