What happens to funds that are in escrow when the fork occurs?

Business as usual for you but they will get a copy of the escrow funds on BitcoinCash - not important for most users and not much they can do anyway.
Make sure your the only person in control of the private key of any funds you want BCC for.....Electrum wallet is best.

Vendor gets the BTC. The BCC portion are either lost forever or the market takes it, depends how they go about things.
Coinbase for example says they will not support BCC. So anyone that has BTC in coinbase loses their BCC permanently.

I wonder what some of these markets will do. Nobody has announced how it will be handled on markets. I know DHL made a post that said all the Btc in escrow will be safe and they will have a big announcement on Aug 2nd. So who knows 🕵🏻🤷🏻♂️
If the market isn't cool, it's gonna keep one version of the fork and give you the other.
If they don't explicitly say they're gonna allow to withdraw both versions, don't expect them to allow you to withdraw both currencies.
Am I making sense? I'm drunk af
