Product quality: | [8/10 ] GREEN RIBBON: Both strains were excellently trimmed and cured, probably the best I've seen from DNM. Green Ribbon had a really pungent earthy aroma and flavor, with a slight diesel/fruity overtone. It was the smoothest smoke I've ever had. The high was a heady, sativa dominant hybrid high, really creative. This was a great day time smoke. However, I don't think the Green Ribbon was perfect. The flavor, while not unpleasant, was not my favorite due to being a little too diesel-y for me, and the high, while very nice, wasn't too strong. Although the Green Ribbon was excellently cured for pungent aroma, great looking bud and a smooth smoke, I was honestly a little disappointed with how much I had to smoke to get high, so I give this strain an 8/10. Product quality: | [10/10 ]BLUE DREAM: Blue dream had a fruity and earthy aroma and flavor, with some berry undertones. Very tasty to vape (got some huge vapor clouds from small trenches) and smoke. This bud was beautiful, lighter green bud just covered in trichomes to give a really frosty, sparkly lime green appearance. I preferred how this strain looked, smelled/tasted, and smoked compared to the Green Ribbon. Smoking this bud was super smooth (not quite as smooth as Green Ribbon) and the high was still very heady and creative, with more of the characteristic indica effects like relaxed limbs present than the Green Ribbon. Definitely some of the best bud I have. JackBlue does his name and the ever popular Blue Dream justice with this one, so I gave it a 10/10, for an average product quality of 9/10. ] Great stuff! Will be looking to order from JB again for his spring listings!! If you're thinking of buying, my overall recommendation is that you wait a little after his listings post so the reviewers have had time to flesh out what the strains are like (unless you're already pretty experienced with the strains) so you know for sure which one you want, since I ended up not like Green Ribbon as much as Blue dream. Oh, I also got some really big nugs (turd sized as my one friend described it), so if you're into that kind of thing..
We can't thank you enough for taking the time to write a great review like that of our products. At JackBlue I think we're our own toughest critics. If a strain we're offering isn't better in some way than others we have in our regular line-up, we usually drop it pretty quick. We're leaning that way with the Green Ribbon right now and it probably won't be back. But don't worry, if you're looking for a heady sativa with potency check out Allen Wrench in the crop coming up during last week of March. Parents are Trainwreck and NYC Diesel and it's totally frosted with trichomes. There are pic links in my profile. GSC (Thin Mint Cut) will also be back with that crop. --JackBlue
