Booking flights

I'm considering booking a flight via a darknet travel agent, but obviously have my concerns doing so. I've got a few questions:

1) Has anyone tried it? I'm not really interested in success stories but rather failure stories 2) What kind of plausible deniability do you have? I was thinking that the excuse of saying you bought this flight off of a forum/new travel agent would be OK.

Use them all the time.

Just check your ticket twice. The first time, about 12 hrs after you receive the confirmation code and the second time right before you are about to board. Because usually if a ticket does get cancelled it will be within the first couple hours. If it's good after 12 hrs, it'll be good until you complete your trip.

All the travel vendors will have issues here and there, but it is usually a low percentage. Some are better then others but most will correct any problems.

I only had a return ticket be cancelled once out of probably 50 tickets after the first leg, but that's because the vendor used miles, and I got lazy and didn't confirm the ticket before going to the airport. They just told me the ticket was purchased with bad miles and was no good at the counter. I just said that's weird and that I paid a friend for it, said I would contract him and walked away.

just do your homework, check the reviews, and you'll be good

Can someone xplain how this works, you buy a plane ticket with a stolen card? I thought you werent allowed to buy plane tickets for people outside your immediate family.

A lot of people can actually do this service and it isn't that hard. I don't think it't the best idea I can and have done it and never had a problem, but it just isn't the best idea in the world. I would make sure wherever you go get a seperate ticket to go there and another one to go back just to be safe. Round trip just isn't the best idea, like I said I do it myself and never had a problem so I wouldn't worry about it. If the vendor isn't a complete idiot it really isn't that hard to do and you shouldn't have a problem at all. I've done it a ton of times and never had a problem honestly I have stayed in suites and condos in Vegas using the same method and I never had a problem. That is only using my method though I can't really vouch for anybody else's method but it's not hard to do. I wouldn't pay any more than 20% of the cost since it's so easy
