Based on regional averages, Lynchburg Police Lt. Stuart Bowen said the street value of the marijuana is roughly $100 per ounce — making the package worth an estimated $25,600.
Jesus, $100 an Ounce? People are still buying that Mexican bush weed these days? If you're gonna spend 25K on Marijuana, at least get some quality shit

16lbs jesus Christ
I fucked around with buds in the mail but never more than 2lbs at a time, its not worth the risks involved. eventually, a postal worker working at a sort facility in cali was able to profile my guys packs and he opened my shit up - emptied the contents, stuffed plastic back in, taped box up and sent it on its way. lost some paper but a lot better than a CD
if you're buying 16lbs at a time, you have the $ to pay someone to transport it or split that into at least 4-6 smaller packs
rookie errors, but let those pigs think they are putting a dent in the weed game... I haven't seen brick weed in 10+ years, shit the last time I saw a seed in my buds I think bush was still president

Fuck. Wonder who the vendor was who sent it.

This should be labeled as PSA.

more than likely it was the packaging that gave it away.ive seen non dnm related weed that has been mailed and i say to myself its a matter of luck that they never get intercepted. most people think a vac seal will do the job. i did too until i started messing with dnm

State Police Special Agent John Phillips wrote in his application for the warrant the 16-pound package was intercepted Saturday by the U.S. Postal Service, which obtained a federal search warrant to perform a field test on the contents.
Trying to fit sixteen pounds of weed in one package was probably their problem
