Alphabay puts extra money into account.

So we've all seen this in the past few months. AB puts extra BTC into your account. What do you do? Scrap the account? Or just leave it there and use the account? Let say <200$ extra. Use all of it and then scrap the account. Whats your thoughts? Obviously if I was the guy with 8 BTC that showed up in my account I would be gone but what about less amount.

As long as you've always used good opsec, withdraw and tumble the coin. The second they know about it they'll take it back, they have no reason not to.

Take it out of the acc, tumble it and the use it somewhere else. They did me well with an extra 2.3 BTC a while ago....my account history was not worth the drugs I did buy with that.

See it as credit like some of the cases have been. One case staff openly said it was a mistake on their end, enjoy the coins. But another recent time, support told a guy since he got coins, the reason his deposit went missing was due to the coins he got for free, so they subtracted it from his deposit.

Do what any decent person would, ask support what their stance on it is, and give it back if they ask for it. No need to be judge and jury yourself as to why you might think you deserve free coins due to whatever mistake occurred. Sleep easier knowing your not one of the endless waves of scumbags on Earth as we all know we have far to many of those, and not a caped crusader trying to decide whether they deserve to have it back based on accusations of what the staff may be doing or who they might be. Live simple, it pays in the end.

For me, it would depend on how much commission fees you bring in each month (if any).

If I'm making a steady $50/month in referrals, and I get a random $100 out of nowhere, I'd probably leave it alone and even tell support. Not worth a mere two months of commissions. But if I got something like $1000, I'd withdraw it and vanish. ;-p

Just as an aside, the fact that this stuff happens on a regular basis shows AlphaBay has no clue what they're doing at some level. I'd say it's amazing they haven't been hacked and drained of coins, but for all anyone knows they have been, hence the need to continue running the site indefinitely.
