Is Signing for a Package Really That Big of a Deal?

As stated above I'm hard pressed to believe that signing for a package is gunna get you automatically arrested on site. If anybody ever came up to my door step and said I have to sign for package I'd fucking damn well do it. Who the fuck would refuse a package like that? The curiosity would cause my psyche to implode. I understand that some people might be suspicious that it would contain something harmful, but the majority of people would not refuse (this may not reflect so much here as we know what can be in the mailcarfentanyone?)

I'd say as long as you have a clean house, don't open it and don't admit to anything you are fine. Signing for a package does not mean any implicit knowledge of what's inside, at most it is accepting responsibility that the post has done its job and delivered the parcel to its destination. This sort of evidence is useless by itself, if they raid you and find no drugs or incriminating tech then they are going to have a near impossible time making a charge stick. The signing for the package is only a piece of the puzzle but one that proper opsec can defeat. What's everyone else think.

The fact that if you sign for a package that is involved in a CD, you can be raided and arrested, is not something you can choose to believe in. There is legal precedent that affirms this....

I've signed for packs with contraband in them before. As long as it comes through say EMS or DHL (private couriers) it's almost guaranteed you'll have to sign for it. If USPS is asking for a sig I'd probably say no, as for FedEx or UPS, I refuse to use vendors who use them. Sign for packs if you know the vendors requires it, if you don't know find out and if they ask for a signature when they shouldn't be, ask why and politely decline the package saying you didn't order anything recently.

Edit: P.S. If you have a clean house, you can stitll sign for the pack. Don't open for like 12-24 hrs to be sure, then write "RTS" or "Return to sender" on the front. Then check pack. At that point if the cops bust down the door a couple days later you can just claim, you opened it that morning, realized what it was (if contraband) and were trying to figure who the proper authorities are to contact.

it's all about knowledge, knowledge is possession, signing for any package does not prove you know what's inside, you might lose the pack in a cd but you would lose fuckall in any court, infact it would not get to court,

in the event that you think a cd might be Gonna happen, just leave the package on the side for a day. if you get busted soon as it's delivered you lose the gear, that's it.

lawyer up and tell the cups (lol cops- cups of shite) to fuck off, then anything you are asked say "lawyer told me to say 'no comment' officer"

Edit: humor Ayeeee

Do you want to be the one to find out then experience decades of years in a metal cage over a few grams of some mind altering substances? Personally, I wouldn't fucking think of signing for a package.

[2 Points] cbdqueenuk:

Common practise in the UK at least, nothing to worry about unless you've chosen a sloppy vendor. Don't really understand why you guys freak out so much about signing.

[1 Points] my_dn_account:

i'll tell you who would 'refuse a package like that'. DNM users who are expecting a package that could lead to their arrest....

yeah I agree keep a clean house and don't admit to anything, but you need to look at this from a LE perspective, if they caught your pack and went through the trouble of setting up a CD, the second you sign for it, you're signature is sealing the deal for LE to move in. Even if some of the cops believe you didn't know any better they will still arrest you.

you're also most likely not going to get a CD for personal amounts but there is really no reason you should ever have to sign for a pack anyway

I tape to door. DHL for example has form on their website. Once they get one never sign again. If getting shit all the time nobody is paying attention. Sign? Sure whatever. Traffic is the key. Something out of the blue. Who knows. Imo but not signing would be odd behavior.

You are crazy if you think anyone would believe you accepted a package out of curiosity. Its these people's jobs to charge people with crimes. IT'S THEIR JOB BRAHH THEY TAKE IT A LITTLE SERIOUS

Unless you are a Youtube celebrity and you have a P.O Box for fans to send you stuff. (hint hint)
