edit: can't post links to the profile or AutoMod will pwn my post, but the vendor account name is 'steaksngravy' on both Ag and Evo.

I actually ordered Blueberry Haze, but the vendor had just run out of that strain and let me know that he'd be substituting Blue City Diesel. He accidentally marked the order confirmed before filling out the shipping label (confirming an order auto-wipes the address message), which delayed shipping a bit, but it still arrived in decent time (5 days). I docked 1 point from shipping time and 1 from 'transaction' as a result of those minor problems, but the vendor was quick and professional when it came to notifying me and resolving the issues. I docked 1 point from stealth because I reserve 10/10 stealth for vendors who really go above and beyond with decoys and the like - stealth was fine, the standard vacuum seal + visual barrier inside, nothing sketchy or suspicious about the outer packaging, no smell before opening.

I docked 1 point from weight because it weighed in at 28.0 with the last gram or so being shake and popcorn nugs - that's hardly unreasonable, it's on weight and 95% big, well-trimmed nugs with minimal stem, but I reserve 10/10 on weight for weed for orders where I can bag up a full ounce worth of smaller bags without using shake and with a little wiggle room so i can weigh my bags .1 or .2 over. Maybe it's not fair to dock vendors for "only" giving me exactly what I paid for and what they said they would send, but I feel like if I'm gonna use a 10 point scale to grade my satisfaction with an order's weight, I don't need 9 of those 10 points to represent varying degrees of "this fucker shorted me." Besides, enough weed vendors do pack orders a little heavy that it's useful to be able to differentiate scores between those who do and those who don't. As with stealth, 9/10 doesn't mean something is bad here - just that it's not worthy of a perfect score because I know of vendors who do it demonstrably better. Given the price and quality of this order, this should absolutely not be a reason for anyone to decide not to order from SteaksnGravy - just something to be aware of. If you're like me and you like to weigh 3.6 or 3.7 gram "eighths," don't order this and count on having 8 bags to sell. So just do what I did: pack 7, keep a couple grams for yourself, taste some of it, then decide how many more of those 8ths you're keeping for yourself ;)

The bud itself is fuckin' phenomenal! My shitty phone camera doesn't do it justice. The trichome coverage over every square inch - and all throughout the nugs when broken up - is up there with the best I've seen from California dispensaries. This batch seems to be more diesel-dominant than most Blue Diesel I've seen - not that it's lacking in body high or nug density, but the smell and taste of sour diesel is much more noticeable to me than the blueberry traits, and the high feels more on the sativa side to me. Not that I'm complaining - Sour Diesel is one of my absolute favorites, and this is one of the best diesel-derived strains I've had the pleasure of smoking.

One more thing I feel obliged to mention: the trim and cure are excellent. I'm rather picky about that - few things are more painful to see than magnificent weed that's been ruined by a botched cure, leaving you with bud that is hard to break up, burns unevenly, holds far too much water weight, and tastes harsher than it should. Almost as bad is bud that you can't even see because it's surrounded in shade leaves, or that has lost most of its trichomes from an overly zealous trim. This bud, on the other hand, has just enough trichome-rich sugar leaves to protect the lower parts of bigger nugs, but no big ugly chunks of leaf covering up the flowers. The cure is so perfect that my smoking buddy actually asked me what I did to pack the bowl so well - it lasted forever, burned evenly and smoothly, stayed cherried but the cherry didn't spread and torch the whole bowl... I didn't do anything special, just tore it up a little by hand, that's just how properly cured nugs burn :)

Anyway, TL;DR: Great weed, great vendor, my only regret is not ordering multiple ounces before he ran out of this strain.

I've ordered 3x from this vendor and every time it's been consistent with what you wrote here, just beautiful bud! If his supply was more consistent he would be legendary status in no time.

Damn, looks super tasty. I just checked his store on Evo and he doesn't have any listings. :( Does he usually only stock a small amount or something? Because that bud at $200/oz seems like a great deal. I'll have to keep an eye out.
