Hey, quick throwaway question, wondering if someone would be kind enough to clarify a few things for me.
So I've been browsing BMR out of sheer curiosity after the whole SR debacle, and I'm trying to figure out the reason so many people turn to online marketplaces. I'm aware that it's a bit of a naive/silly question, but I'm wondering about the pros/cons of the situation. Granted, I live in a large city, but I had no more problems accessing whatever I needed when I lived in the suburbs. The main downsides to online purchasing seem to be a. the fact that it's fucking mailed to you via public postage, b. while street vendors are not necessarily more trustworthy, at least you've met with an actual person you can blame if shit goes down, and c. so much bs to deal with re: details of payment and shipment, encryption, etc. The upside seems to be a variety of product, and ?cheaper prices than some areas world-wide. Although, again, doesn't seem to be significantly different from street here.
If anyone can shed some light on this, I would greatly appreciate it! Cheers!
P.S. Also, what's up with reddit's beef with Tor? P.P.S. http://i.imgur.com/4o180te.png pic relevant
