Paxful is a great place to buy BTC

With all the talk about Coinbase I think its important to explain to people that using their service is a super OPSEC fail. At the same time many people don't know where to buy BTC if not coinbase, therefore, I would like to present paxful.

For those unacquainted its a service, that itself requires no personal information and allows you to have private sales with other users using their escrow system.

Although some sellers in the paypal section may ask for a pic of you ID in the amazon section there is nothing of the sort. You can buy an amazon giftcard at basically any store with cash and then send the code and a picture of the receipt to a buyer on Paxful and depending on the deal get 86%-94% (If i check every couple hours I regularly find deals for about 92%.)

I recommend those who want to upgrade their OPSEC and move away from Coinbase and checkout Paxful, I think it should also be added to the DNM bible.

I'll check it out. I personally always recommend bitquick.co you can definitely get away with not using personal info. I cash deposit at a bank or credit union and they charge 0.0005 plus a 2 percent fee which is not bad you just have to find the right time to order because options change sometimes the exchange may be a lot higher and very few bank options to deposit at. Even with those drawbacks it's been very convenient for me I am a small time buyer though don't know how big transactions would work.

Paxful has horrible fees, localbitcoins is way better

I thought it's been known for awhile to avoid coinbase, but i guess not everyone got the memo.

I've never seen an amazon gift card trade at Paxful for more than 88%. RN highest I see is 86. Maybe you have a lot more available listings than me. The highest my brand new throwaway can get is 73. Paxful does charge 0.0008btc to send your btc out of the Paxful system. Atleast Paxful tells you your account is in the negative now, before they wouldn't tell you.

From my observations Amazon Gift cards are being sold at less and less stores.

Paxful is just more user friendly and local bitcoin u need a reputation to get anything

Fuck paxful

Horrible fees and just for wanting to send bitcoin they put my account like 10 dollars in the negative.

I don't trust any cash deposit or W.E sites other than LBC.. I didn't even trust LBC at first the concept is just so damn sketchy, depositing thousands into a strangers bank account. Lol.

Bitquick.co is very easy and no personal information needed

It seems cool but I haven't found a trader who will sell over $500 USD worth and I need wayyyyyyyy more than that lol

I fucking love Paxful. Got a few accounts, been using it primarily for ages. Typically better exchange rates than LBC, too, depending on what service you use.

Personally, I use a host of exchanges, gotta keep it moving, right? Lol

The specific way I always purchase bitcoin, which I won't reveal just in case my mom is reading, it usually WAY cheaper on Paxful. Like, LBC i'll get $0.91 per BTC dollar equivalent, whereas I've found Paxful vendors who end up in some case being like $0.97 per BTC dollar, I shit you not. I've found vendors on Paxful trading BTC like fucking kids trading halloween candy. Plus in most cases they DGAF about who you are, if you have ID, etc. My only beef with Paxful is their fees. Every time I purchase they deduct from my account after the transaction, making my account negative. So for instance, now my account is negative $5.00 worth of BTC, so I fucking owe them and will lose five bucks during my next trade.

Anyway I always said Paxful is like LBC's cool, albeit sightly shady, cousin.

EDIT: I suggest checking out producthunt for the newest Crypto services and whatnot.
