Centralized escrow, I know. Believe me, I know. I just want to know if there is any hope or anyone has word on what happened to that place. I have a large international order in transit and now I don't know what will happen or if the vendor will get his BTC.
It has been down for days and not a single official word from any of the staff. No sign of life on the forum either. The admins came across to me as really friendly and they even solved my support ticket on the day the market went down, I needed an order refunded because the vendor hadn't replied and they sent back my 0.4 coins which I withdrew literally an hour or two before it disappeared (If it's really a scam why the hell did they refund me and let me withdraw?) Why do that just to take the site down a few hours later?
But the main thing that worries me is .... if it's just some downtime why are there zero announcements by the admins? Leads me to believe the situation is more serious and my faith that it will come back has almost gone now after nearly a week.
I haven't lost money yet (unless the vendor's package doesn't arrive) but this was a big order and I have no way of paying him because my coins were on Andromeda.
I know I'll get criticized for using a centralized market but Andromeda has been incredibly reliable for me before this week. All my orders went fine with the exception of the last two, one was refunded for vendor inactivity and the other was in transit when the site disappeared.
I feel really bad. This has just ruined my day and I am sure many others feel the same.
This is why I love agora, it may be slow, but it's been down and always have come back up. Updates from the admins and they never have stolen btc from me. I don't know about andromeda. Never used it, I hope people don't lose btc
