Got a letter from the police today [HollandOnline]

I ordered from HO on the 16th of december of last year, the same day HO got arrested. It was 100x lsd tabs. Today I got a letter from the police telling me that they want to interrogate me as a witness to "drug trafficking via darknet".

The good news is that I dont have to go, but I might have to when their the accusers are tried in court and say the truth.

I dont know what to do as by being a witness I will have to admit that I bought 100 tabs of lsd online as well. we'll see.

btw im Dutch

keep your mouth shut and talk to a lawyer. im unfamiliar with dutch law but say nothing to the police if you arent legally required too. talk to a lawyer before them

Can you upload a scan of the letter with your personal info blacked out? It may help the community.

Clean house, and repeat after me "I want to speak to a lawyer." and "I know not of what you speak of."

I don't know the law in the Netherlands but in Germany a witness doesn't have to give evidence if he would incriminate himself. Hope it is similar in your case.

This is something people forget - you absolutely can be called as a witness for the prosecution.

If you get caught on the street and you are smart enough to keep your mouth shut there's nothing they can do in the future other than charge you or let you off - they can't make you give evidence against anybody because you were sensible enough not to tell them anything.

But if they already know you ordered drugs and they already know who you get them from then this is exactly what can happen - you get called as a witness for the prosecution.

What that means is that when HO is in court you will be called to give evidence against him. If you don't turn up it's a criminal offence and if you lie it's a criminal offence.

So your best bet is to speak to a lawyer before you speak to the police because anything you say to the police will come back a few months down the line and bite you right in the ass when you're in that court room. And I mean anything.

This seems to be what is happening because you said they want to interrogate you as a witness - that means anything you say to them will be brought up in the court room and you'll be questioned about it (sometimes. sometimes you'll sit there, do nothing and then go home)

Can you actually still get real LSD? I thought it was pretty much extinct nowadays.
