FCC Broadband Privacy Rules Repeal Good for DNM Users?

We know that using a VPN or TOR will get you looked at a little more than the next person.

With the new repeal a lot more people will be using VPNs to prevent ISPs from seeing what they're searching for. This will allow DNM users to blend in a lot easier. What are your thoughts?

Eh.

I pretty much agree. Those who need OPSEC are already doing it right, and those who don't will definitely want it now.

The more people on the list, the more pointless it becomes to even keep a list.

"I'm Spartacus!" "No, I'm Spartacus." "I'm Spartacus!" "I'm Spartacus." "I'M Spartacus." "No, I'M Spartacus." "I'M Spartacus!"

Which one is the real Spartacus?

It doesn't mean anything different. It's already legal for ISPs to do that. (the repealed rule wasn't in effect yet)

ISPs thinking you're up to something fishy is likely to decrease, but they'll probably work on other ways of profiling internet traffic. Tor browser has obfsproxy now, so most of that won't affect us.
