Looking for advice to help Chinese vendor out with his stealth

I just got a package containing RCs from a Chinese vendor. Great quality, great price, and shipping time to USA was so fast it blew my mind. I think it was 5 business days. Seriously didn't know that was possible. Obviously I want the vendor to succeed so I can keep ordering from him, but it seems to me that the stealth was pretty terrible. I'm not an expert in stealth though, and I don't know if there are specific things that can/should be done differently if the package is from China, so I was hoping the fine folks of Reddit could give me some advice to pass on to him. I don't want to list all my percieved problems publicly for fear of compromising any packages currently in the system, but if you are a frequent poster in the community and are willing to help PM me and I'll send you some more details.

Problems: 1.The actual product was 18 grams, but came in a giant (maybe 1x1.5 ft) package

2.Product was in a pretty standard combo of plastic and foil bags, but then the foil bag was wrapped in a bunch of bubble wrap, which was then wrapped in at least a couple layers of tape

  1. Package required signature (is there a way to avoid this coming from China? Maybe this is needed for the quickest shipping, but if so maybe there's an option for slower shipping with no signature?)

  2. Vendor PMed me when package arrived, so he must have sent tracking numbers

  3. Vendor offered to send me tracking number. I know this and reason 4 are considered to be bad ideas for DNM packages, but if someone could enlighten me as to why, I would appreciate it.

  4. Vendor used a fake business name. In my address. The address it was shipped to was the right one, but there was a line insterted after my name with my supposed business after it. Seems like this could raise a lot of suspicion. I told my PMB provider it wasn't a business box, since it clearly isn't. Is this somehow needed to pass China customs? Am I correct in assuming it could raise suspicion?

Looking forward to hearing from everyone, I will forward any good advice to the vendor.

Let's call the vendor CV.

1.The actual product was 18 grams, but came in a giant (maybe 1x1.5 ft) package

Tell CV that it isn't necessary to send large packages; quite the contrary, the package should be as small as possible while preserving the best stealth to insure proper handling/delivery, and avoiding suspicion.

Product was in a pretty standard combo of plastic and foil bags, but then the foil bag was wrapped in a bunch of bubble wrap, which was then wrapped in at least a couple layers of tape

Tell CV that they should look into the use of vacuum sealing bags and mylar (moisture barrier bags) as a standard with their stealth. If the product was unscheduled in your state then it isn't really a big deal, but I think vac seal/mylar should always be used for drugs.

Package required signature (is there a way to avoid this coming from China? Maybe this is needed for the quickest shipping, but if so maybe there's an option for slower shipping with no signature?)

This is pretty much standard for EMS through ChinaPost - almost all Chinese vendors use the express service (at least to the USA) which is the quickest but requires the signature. You could ask CV if they'll do a no-sig shipping option, but signing doesn't really hold much power over anything, and it isn't required for a CD to take place.

Vendor offered to send me tracking number. I know this and reason 4 are considered to be bad ideas for DNM packages, but if someone could enlighten me as to why, I would appreciate it.

Tell CV if they care about their own security, they won't send out tracking numbers. The tracking numbers can possibly be linked back to the post office that the package was sent from, and it is believed to raise red flags when the tracking numbers are checked through Tor. I don't think you would do the latter but it's safer for the vendor to only release the tracking number when there is a problem or delay with delivery of the original package.

CV should ONLY use the address that you give them in the PGP'd address field when you order. NOTHING ELSE. This is extremely important because people have drops set up at multiple places and if CV wants to add a field or take one away, they risk completely screwing up the delivery of the package. Tell them to copy and paste the address, and print it off on a label, then slap it onto the package, and mail that bitch off.

You will always have to sign for any international order with tracking.
