14 days ago I transacted with a vendor who seemed reputable enough based on his other market's ratings, however after 14 days of never hearing back from him I decided to open a dispute. I didn't check back on the dispute which was opened Tuesday until this morning to find the vendor decided to now reply inside of the dispute where he SWEARS he sent it but wasnt asked for any kind of proof. The moderator awarded him half of the cost of the transaction ~ .08 bitcoins. What is the fucking point of allowing consumers to dispute a transaction if you're going to fuck us in the ass anyways?
What does the vendor's shipping/ refund policy say? TBH its not too tough to claim no arrival for a untracked pack.. anyone can do it, and many do.
If the vendor has a 50% refund policy thats what the mod decided to offer you. Thats not the best, but thats not being fucked in the ass at all. Many people have lost worse on scams.
Ofcourse the mod has to look into things such as your market rep, vendor's ratings and so on so you should probably give more info or post screenshots of the vendor's page and your feedback
