I have a bad feeling that eventually news is going to come out that the top admin was arrested, and the other staff, being unable to contact the head guy, either subsequently abandoned the market in fear (or were arrested themselves).

The market was basically running on auto-pilot for a while, although there were sporadic indications of support presence (refunds to buyers, etc). I don't think this was a deliberate exit scam in the Evolution sense.

Mark it down.

Fuck returning to a market run by "admins" that messes up your whole christmas ordering schedule.

If that page was still on the darknet with the open contracts I'd happily chip in 5 BTC towards their heads. (Hello NSA, DHS, and other LEOS, yes I know that page was a scam, (EDIT)

The DNM superlist has been updated. There is now a superlist-removed section.

Not sure if it really was an exit scam. My theory is shit wen't down with all the DDoS attacks and shit got too hot and the admin just dipped

Just a couple hundred BTC left in the wallet... Yea, its officially over. Now we all move to other markets. Almost all of them have Multi-Sig now. Hell AlphaBay has had multisig since like March lol.

Evo got a BTVA warning, based on info from Evolution's own admins. Also, it was allowing deposits but not withdrawals for a week before this, and NSWgreat admitted it 5 hours after the warning was posted by yours truly from the BTVA announcements account.

Abraxas looked like agora, which is soothing anyway. there was no extended "one way valve wallet" period. It was just not there one time when you tried to logon, so its not an "aggravated" scam.

We don't usually chase "not there anymmore" scams, because the site could have been busted, or about to be. A snapshot of the money on the marketplace is unavoidable.

I think of it as a small pension for hiding the box containing all our sins - the server.

I paid my vendor deposit on there, but it was gone by the time I had enough stock. fate seems to want me to just do direct deals right now.

An important factor in it not being listed as a scam, was because the mods here totally ignored two exiting markletplaces in a week, because of a few fucking bitcoin and lobali. they kept posting about "a week of massive upheaval", buit they were talking about themselves! not the two big marketplaces!

There hasn't even been a megathread devoted to either of them.

At least Middle earth's owner, and what looks like about 8 staff, will be arrested in the next 12 months - due to having bitcoin going through the site, then taking it to an exchange without tumbling first. Piddling amounts that bitcoinfog would make impossible to track.

Maybe the mod team here DID do something, thanks to their bitcoinfog FUD. they scared MEM's owner into not tumbling. You can see his BTCe deposit address using wallet explorer. The cops just need to order them to say who it belongs to.
