Consumers in lawless markets must always remain vigilant in order to avoid traps, and that means doing a thorough background check on vendors - ESPECIALLY when you are international, as auto FE and long shipping times make it easy for vendors to scam consumers who are not careful.
This experience has taught me that reading a few positive reviews does not necessarily mean one should order from any specific vendor. It is imperative to consider the negative reviews as well.
I am American. Elise Yamaha is in the Netherlands. I saw some positive reviews and the price, and impulsively placed a large order. It has been 31 days since it was "shipped."
After combing through the negative reviews, I noticed a pattern; every 2-3 weeks, someone complained of never received a package. Elise responded to all the complaints, but something tells me that was just for show. She explicitly lists that she does not do reships, and that shipping can take up to 4 weeks. how convenient.
tl;dr don't buy from elise yamaha
