PO Box Questions

I need to submit ID and proof of housing etc to rent a PO box, but do they ever send me anything in the mail? I live with people so mailing to my location is not an option.

I want to get the smallest box and anything that won't fit will just be take to the front desk or some storage. Is this basically always the case? I do not want a package re-routed to my home address because it could not fit.

I am planning on ordering edibles/carts, stims, and dissos. Any issues with that?

Should I go with PO boxes from USPS, UPS, or some 3rd party mailing service?

Just think now you won't have to have those plain brown wrapped packages from Amazon sent to your house any longer risking exposure of your double life.

No. As long as you continue to pay for the PO box you will receive mail there, and only there (as long as that's the address you sent to the vendor, obviously). I believe there's also a way to have any mail in your name be forwarded to your PO box as well, but I'm not quite sure how that works as I've never done so myself.

When signing up for a PO box, just get the cheapest option. If the package is too big, they leave a note in your box that you take to the front desk and they will bring you your mail. I've heard that some places give you a key to another PO box [where they put your oversized package(s)] when your package is too big, but my post office doesn't do that.

If you're looking to mail yourself stuff on the low, a PO Box is your best bet.

Go with UPS they never sent anything to my house and if you can swing it I would go with the bigger size I only order personal and they still always put it behind the counter because the lockers were full. Plus if you get the bigger box they usually have better hours so you can pick up your pack early in the morning while no one's there.
