During a controlled delivery, are on-site vehicles searched? What about off-site vehicles? If there is evidence of a bank vault safety deposit box (such as bank statements), what about that? Assuming someone has no (trustworthy) friends, where is safe?

Title sums it up.

Not a lawyer, just been involved in certain instances where this is applicable. Most things are up to officer's discretion and knowledge of the assets (items the "criminal" owns). The less they know, the less they can inspect.

During a controlled delivery, are on-site vehicles searched?

Yes. The vehicle may be even confiscated/impounded if they have direct evidence that the vehicle was used in a felony act. Ie: Drug deal, possession, etc.

What about off-site vehicles?

Depends, if the person is just in possession, then in my personal experience, it won't happen. However, I wouldn't risk it. If the vehicle can't be found (parked elsewhere), then I wouldn't bat an eye.

If there is evidence of a bank vault safety deposit box (such as bank statements), what about that?

Possession/User, no. I don't believe that they could ask a judge that a person with a small amount of drugs could be capable of "hiding" more drugs in the safety deposit box. I'd just avoid this by not keeping paper records lying around.

Assuming someone has no (trustworthy) friends, where is safe?

Remember, try to think about what the Law Enforcement agency will know. If you put it in "X" place, in what way could they find it, and secondly, in what way could they link it too you?

When they pull your credit report. Can they see a place you paid for that stands out, such as a storage facility? Storage facility could work but does anyone you know, have knowledge of that place?

On-site/off-site vehicles...?

This totally depends on where you live and the scale of what you are doing. I'm not an expert when it comes to the law, but I will try my best to answer your questions.

On site vehicles will most likely be searched. If they are in your driveway and they find the keys on you or in your house then I am pretty sure they would search your car. After all, that would be a place where a lot of people would hide things. The whole reason of a CD is to get you to sign for a package and collect evidence to win in a court battle.

Any evidence of place where you could be hiding anything will also most likely be searched. Let's say you have a piece of paper with a location and whats inside, they will go down and search it if they deem it to be illegal. Again, try not to keep any records like that.

Offsite vehicle could also be search if there is evidence you own said vehicle. They would also be wondering why you are keeping a vehicle owned by you in a different location to your house.

If anyone has any corrections please comment, this is just my best assumption.
