Excessive amount of vendors asking FE, as well as many orders being marked as shipped yet nothing received by most brings into the question did some vendors knows about this on AB.

There is a common theme reading the threads the last week or so about reputable vendors asking for FE out of nowhere right before AB went down - as well as dozens of posts about orders being shipped up to a week before AB and nothing. Also many bigger sellers going on "vacation".

Before this happened there was info about vendors unable to withdraw funds properly a week prior to the shut down. So this could raise potential vendor flags to themselves and refusing to ship stuff until they can finally get money out, which seems normal for a small vendor just making a few $ or huge orders. However, it seems like most people would want to keep a good seller rep and ship anyways out of faith in AB. Or at the very least alerting the buyer.

This raises the question if some of the vendors knew - got extra money, were partly in on the scam, and AB alerted them they were closing.. making good to their top vendors out of "loyalty" or pure safety factor not to piss off the biggest sellers and take thousands from them, guy's who might know who they really are or have the money/connections to find out. These guys just pop up over on Dream or Hansa, business as usual. Then pass the blame for pending orders to AB and try to sympathize over your gram of weed you lost out on.

I had it happened to me two weeks ago, I thought it was strange, especially from a seller I've never bought from before but did anyways because it was a small amount of $$ and just gave the benefit of the doubt due to ratings. It was Suppose to be overnighted but nothing after a week. He rambles to me about Bitcoin volatile pricing as the reasoning for FE. A few days go by, no update - a few days later the seller explains he thinks it's some exit scam going on and can't get their money out of escrow. I didn't think anything of it, seemed fairly honest or he could be paranoid on meth or was on to something. I don't give a shit about my order at all or the vendor.. what's strange to me is the excessive amount of people who have experience this same situation I did. I think my vendor was just paranoid or kind alerting of a possible exit scam.

Now I certainly don't think it was well known by all vendors.. pretty obvious some are losing it and got fucked over hard by AB - so I feel really bad for them.

Nice blog post. Only read the first sentence though because I know how the rest goes.

We see a thread about vendors being "in" on market exit scams about 9 times daily after about every exit scam since SR, for about two weeks. Then it trickles down to every other day. A few months later, you still see these posts, and they amount to nothing.

Unless you have verifiable proof, this is as bad as the "package isn't here yet am i fucked" posts.

I didn't receive a relatively big pack from a very reputable EU vendor. Dead line was 07.07. The vendor is FE vendor, and I ordered 5+ times from him in the past, never had a problem ....

So your post somehow makes sense for me
