I disputed my transaction because it was marked as shipped but never arrived. Pelican sent me a tracking number that I guess the mod thought was evidence that he did his part .. They released my funds. Here's the problem:
I was at home when the package was allegedly dropped off at my place. I've ordered enough on the darknet to know what time to be at home to meet the USPS workers who deliver on foot. I also regularly talk to them. The guy came by that day, but he didn't leave that package. The information available on the tracking number screen isn't very detailed, only showing that something was sent somewhere within my city, state, and zip code ..
I suspect that their product issues have motivated them to send out sham packages to random addresses that share the buyer's city, state, and zip code.
I had two other orders arrive on time to my address without a problem in the past few days, so I know that no one is stealing my mail and my address isn't "burned" or whatever.
Has anyone else experienced this?
EDIT: In light of going over the post histories of the two Pelican accounts, I'm now a little more certain that it's a huge exit scam, perhaps with a handful of accomplices and collaborators (including moderators - not necessarily DNM moderators either). DO NOT ATTEMPT TO BUY FROM PELICAN. There's a small chance that you'll get a package, but you'll be an exception engineered to generate hope for all of us other suckers. The reason they aren't shipping the packages is because they're busy ballin' out buying nose candy with all of our BTC.
