I have a friend who pushes quite a bit, and he just showed me his venmo balance and it is upwards of $80k. Should I be concerned for him?
How bad is venmo for OPSEC?

Your friend sounds like a real dumb ass and if you are at all involved in his distribution operation I'd start building walls between you and him. If he's dumb enough to leave that much of a paper trail with the money I'm sure he's doing deals through text messages and other insecure communications also. If the cops start sniffing around for any reason he's going to make it a real easy investigation.

He is a fucking retard.
Venmo can freeze your account at any time and steal whatever balance was in it and cancel any pending transaction/bank transfer, and ban you from using their service for life. For any fishy reason.
Happened to friend.

Probably, he's going to get audited hard if he ever actually deposits it himself.
Trying to avoid the 10k will just get him hit with structuring and audited anyway.
For super small time deals between friends venmo is no more risky than anything else especially for people that use it for literally everything.

Isn't Venmo owned by PayPal now? Lol
[10 Points] ninjasrocklocks:
If he had used Square instead of venmo, he could at least use the money without letting it touch his bank account...
[10 Points] Spa__ce:
People here making this sound way more dramatic then necessary I would cash out 1k every once and a while. And I would have him tell him customers that if they bring him 500 in cash he will venmo them 600. Over the course of a year you should be able to get that to a reasonable level

Square requires a business to be implemented, my advice ? Weekly, take out a few thousand and deposit it into ur account , and then close that account, go to a different bank and put that money there . Lol.

shit troll is shit
why are you people taking the bait, y'all know better
[3 Points] CuntMaster16:
Ok wow you need to get that shit out asap. Your best bet is to open bank accounts online in other people's names and link them that way BoA is the easiest. You can withdrawal max 3k a week and I would immediately cash out that bank account and close it. And for the love of God. Use. socks5 proxy's
