Holiday Season Delivery protocol

I'm going to attempt to write this post without spreading FUD or fallacies. These are simply my thoughts, and a request for your own as the holiday season approaches..

As we all know, the package volume increases dramatically during the holiday season (750 million packages and billions of pieces of mail were delivered by the USPS last year from November 1st-January 1st). This enormous increase comes as both a blessing and a curse, in my opinion our packages ordered on the dark web will be much harder to detect due to an obvious "needle in a haystack" clause, but we also must be extremely vigilant with providing correct drop information and intercepting our packages (if need be) in a timely manner. Some of our favorite vendors take vacation time during this season so make sure to check their FAQ's and get in touch with them to make sure you don't miss out on any goodies.

Initially I assumed that security would be a larger issue during this season as the postal service ramps up protective measures, but they can only do so much. I feel that a package being lost by the inept postal service is far more likely than a seizure during this time.. As always, keep opsec tight and be smart.. Keep in mind these are only my opinions, i'm interested in your thoughts as well..

What's the protocol for not panicking when it's Tuesday, my drugs still haven't arrived, I'm leaving Wednesday, and I might have to face my family stone cold sober?
