Was it actually intercepted and should I worry?

Hey guys, first post and couldn't find something similar.

A while ago I ordered a small domestic(the Netherlands) mailbox shipment(not big enough for a CD according to the web) which supposedly got intercepted and I got a reship without consulting me if I wanted a reship.

Day 0: ordered

Day 1: supposedly shipped

Day 4: Asked an update

Day 10: Vendor asked if it had arrived, I told him it didn't

Day 15: Shipment received and I asked what happened

Day 19: Replied that it got intercepted and he sent a reship

Now I'm wondering if it actually got intercepted and I should burn my address or not. What would you guys do?

Also, anyone knows if they keep a database of names with intercepted packages in the Netherlands, or they just destroy it and move on. Links to more information on this topic would be much appreciated!

"Intercepted" in this case could just mean some postal worker found it and stole it out of the mailstream. Either that or your vendor was just lazy and never sent it out on time to begin with. Domestic orders rarely get stopped and when they do, it's usually because of an incredibly shitty packing job.

lol how would he know that it got intercepted? Not like you track the shit and it says 'INTERCEPTED BY THE LAW' on the tracking...

He just didn't have the product on time, you're fine dude
