Anybody see this on their tracking before? (US DOMESTIC)

January XX, 2016 , 7:35 am

Processing Exception XXXXXXXXX, MX XXXX2 The Postal Service has identified a problem with the processing of this item at 2:21 pm on January 16, 2016 in XXXX XXXXXXXX, WX, XXX2X. The local facility has been alerted and is taking steps to correct the problem.

Here's a fuller picture of what's been happening. I should say that the vendor is someone I have a long standing relationship with and one with impeccable stealth.

Usually it's 2-3 days click to door, not this time.

Edit: pic removed.

I just don't like the bright orange bar. Or the language "has been alerted."

Should I clean house here or is this just a USPS blunder? Anybody with experience with something like this?

I'd really appreciate any advice/stories.

Thanks.

Prepare for the worst, hope for the best.

could this be related to the increase in postage/stamp prices? im not sure if affects orders that were already sent out but the other thread is saying that packs may be returned unless additonal postage is paid

What did you order Edit: also i read it could mean a lot of things...one of them is it being stuck in a loop , which it looks like it did from the tracking, most likely from a messed up bar code...someone from the facility was alerted to prolly take it out physically and transfer it to the right place

I honestly wouldn't worry. USPS has been doing crazy shit with my packages this past month but they all eventually show up. There are a bunch of threads on the eBay and etsy boards where users report the same notification.

I saw that once when it got sent to the wrong zip code and by consequence went to the wrong sorting facility. Ended up being delayed by 2 days.

I may be paranoid but I'd edit your post to remove the date/time and any other identifying details from your post... No idea how common that is, never seen it, but who knows, it could be the only one with those specific details.

UPDATE:

Arrived in good condition Friday.

/u/ImBillBraskyAMA was exactly right.

Can never be too careful in this game but I was overreacting here for sure.
I just have such a good and long running relationship with this vendor - and I mean good. . . as on point as I've ever experienced, always 2-3 days click to door, impeccable stealth - that last part didn't even come into play here.

No opening on the envelope. stealth and decoy intact. Product double sealed and potent as ever.

Long live DNM! (?)
