Situation:
I live in a off-campus college apartment complex. Stupidly gave a vendor the wrong apartment number and now will have a letter containing 'Cid sitting in the mailbox of a person I have never met before nor will not meet until maybe a couple of months from now until they move in.
Options
-Tell the landlord I gave the wrong address to my Grandmother and have him open the other tenants mailbox for me.
-Send junkmail to the other mailbox with my name on it so that when the other person comes back they just give me all the mail looking past the letter
-Wait until I meet this person and request the letter.
-Do nothing and play dumb if anything ever comes my way.
Edit
It's summertime so I am also heavily worried about the 'Cid deteriorating but I am more worried about the neighbor opening the letter and finding 'Cid in it then anything.
So, what to do? Fine gentleman.
Well, my opinion on this matter is that you should probably do the most normal thing, which would be to contact a landlord and say you gave a website the wrong address or something. Or simply just remove the mail from their mailbox and be open about it if they catch you just show them that you're just getting your mail that was accidentally sent there. Also you should not worry too much about someone opening your letter as it is very ILLEGAL for them to open your letter. Your best bet is to get it ASAP rather than have it sitting at their place where they MAY open it.
