[GeneralQuestions] When should I dispute?

Package shipped 11 days ago. Day after it was marked as shipped vendor removed all of their listings, no vacation mode, no mentioning of why. Vendor hasn't logged in 6 days. Should I go ahead and dispute it or wait until its about to auto-finalize? I know people have said the mail has been running slow but others on the same coast received their packages in a much shorter time than this.

is it domestic or international? if international id wait for around the 20-25 day mark before disputing. (id message vendor around day 20) for domestic id wait at least 10 full working days before contacting(then id message vendor) if he doesnt respond in a timely manner. id then open up a dispute. i know this will b hard for u because he hasnt logged in in 6 days but id shoot him a message to give him a chance to get back to u before opening a dispute. if after a day or two he hasnt logged in still, then i would open a dispute if ur package has still not arrived

Follow up question: even if you win the dispute does it show up on your profile to a vendor?

sorry to jump on your thread, but on eve; can vendors see how many disputes you have opened/won/lost?

Send him a message NOW if haven't already. That's first.

If he does not respond at all, wait til the mail delivers on the day it auto finalizes (or whenever your last chance to dispute knowing you will not be receiving anything). If you have it in your box last minute, for your sake i hope its something you can test quickly in case its garbage, or if you trust his stuff then you're good to go

But, if you do not receive it on that final day, dispute that shit obviously. Everything is in your favor. And do the following:

Be the first to send a message to the mods. All the evidence and all that's important and pretty much all you need to say is the truth, but it just needs good evidence to prove you arent a scammer. Most mods are super busy so keep it simple like a good lawyer, all technicalities lol.

If the vendor doesnt respond to your message, mention that info to the moderator after you dispute. "The vendor was unresponsive blah blah." Simple and to the point. Furthermore, if he still hasn't logged in when Auto Final time happens, there is the best evidence. Still keep track of how long he has been MIA in case he logs in before Auto Final, mention that too like say he had not logged in for 10 days to address my questions. Then, of course you say you didn't get your shit before auto Finalize so you disputed. If you keep it simple and technical, you will get your coin back, IT IS YOUR MONEY! This how you make it clear you aren't just scamming. And thats what the dispute option is there for, to protect you. Any vendor should be responsible enough to get shit to you within the timeframe, no excuses unless they include a refund or compensation with it.

Don't worry about if other sellers can see that you have disputed, they dont know the circumstances. However, Next time, try to pick a better vendor, you def don't want to accumulate a bunch of disputes, makes you look difficult/scamming.

Dispute before it auto-finalizes... but not too much before
