Canadianforger, not LuckyLucciano, was behind the 2013 MDMA CD's.

Here's some background info for those who haven't heard about this before: A couple years ago, during the days of SR1, three buyers were involved in CD's after attempting to import 100 grams of MDMA into the US. One of the guys ended up making a post on the SR forums to warn the community shortly after receiving his CD. While admirable, it unfortunately didn't help prevent another bust from taking place 1-2 days later.

Who exactly was responsible for sending out these orders is apparently a point of contention. It appears that the widely held belief is that these came from the vendor Luckylucianno, although I'm fairly certain that it was actually the work of CanadianForger. How do I know all of this? I was active on the forums during this time and saw the guy's warning post before everything related to the busts was deleted by the forum mods. At the time, I agreed with this course of action and personally contacted the mods in the hope that it might prevent LE from tying these busts to the Silk Road, although this obviously didn't work out as planned.

CanadianForger himself was actually active in this forum purge as well. I even managed to get him to admit that he was the source of the MDMA in a PM conversation with him. This was accomplished after I did some detective work and proved that the MDMA came from Canada and not Europe as he claimed (the orders were intercepted passing through San Francisco customs, an entry point that almost certainly wouldn't handle European packages, but would be the ultimate destination of British Columbia-sourced mail. Not surprisingly, CF is from B.C., as are most Canadian MDMA vendors). It should also be noted that to my knowledge, there were only two bulk Canadian MDMA vendors at the time, and I don't recall LuckyLucianno even having active listings during this period. He also never had public listings for the 100 gram quantities alluded to in the arrests (his largest was 50 grams), unlike CF.

Which vendor is actually responsible is admittedly not that big of a deal at this point, and it wouldn't surprise me if LL and CF had the same MDMA supplier and even knew each other irl. LL in particular doesn't seem too concerned about it, as he's never bothered to dispute these claims once in the past two years. I thought it was worth setting the record straight though, as Gwern has LL as the vendor involved in his darknet arrests page, a belief that appears to have come from this dubious /r/silkroad post. There are however, some interesting findings one can take from all of this:

  1. In the United States, there actually might have been more CDs from Canadian ecstasy vendors than there have been from Dutch vendors (Here's another recent one). Canadian-US customs seems surprisingly dicey; looking at the arrests so far, I'm not sure that the belief that it's less risky than ordering from Europe is anything but an illusion.

  2. In this case, 100 gram orders were the tipping point for a CD. There were several users on the forums that said they had successfully ordered 28 and 50 gram listings from Canada during this time without even receiving a love letter. CF seemed to believe this as well, as he continued selling these amounts while temporarily removing his 100 gram listings after the busts.

  3. Both LL and CF are still active, and CF has resumed selling 100+ gram listings. CF honestly seems like a good vendor for the most part, but I'd still strongly recommend that people not to make large orders with him (or any Canadian vendor, for that matter).

  4. Luckylucianno is a misspelling of Lucky Luciano, an American mobster he's named after. Not sure that inspires confidence in a person sending you CD-level quantities of MDMA through the mail.

  5. The forum mod that I managed to contact about deleting these SR posts went by Scout, later changed to Cirrus. That might sound familiar to you, as their account ended up getting taken over by LE. Not sure when this happened, but I like to think that I actually contacted an undercover agent about removing posts in the hopes that... law enforcement wouldn't see them, lol.

Wrote a post to gwern about this a few weeks back, but he never replied back. I guess he thought I was a drug-addled conspiracy theorist, which to be fair, is probably accurate. With that said, if anyone here remembers this going down and can back up or discredit anything about my story, please feel free to share it.

tl;dr: #justice4luckylucianno.

Gwern is too busy fighting off pussy...

"through San Francisco customs, an entry point that almost certainly wouldn’t handle European packages" Are you sure about this? Almost positive for west coast customers San Francisco ISC (international service center) handles all European mail.

LL retired months ago, hasnt been on sites this whole year AFAIK.

I dont think it ever really affected his business, he continued on after these busts for 1.5 years through SR2/Agora. People get caught, thats what happens when you sell/buy drugs.

My first and only order from Canadian forger was most likely seized as it never arrived. I did not get a love letter or anything as it was an 8 ball.

I specifically remember LL saying that his packages had been profiled and CDs happened so he was stopping shipping out orders to the United States. This was on the Silk Road 1 forum. Why would he say that several of his customers got controlled deliveries and he was stopping some sales if it wasn't true?

Number 4 made me laugh. Are you seriously judging a vendor based on his screenname? Are you fucking stupid?

Really suspicious. Ive used CF for years and always liked them. Never suspected anything about your claims. Good thing i don't import MDMA or use Canadian vendors anymore! haha!

What is this?

gets confirmation whom is responsible for the CD from vendor = continues to do research on who was responsible for controlled delivery

The reason canada to us is less risky than europe to us is that all packages leaving canada have to pass through canadian customs first. I dont believe any of the European source countrys do this but i could be wrong.
