Brute Forcing My Own Password. Potential Downsides?

So back when I started out on the dnms, I made a ridiculous mistake of losing my password for Evolution and have over 2 btc holed up in there that I'd like back. I had also removed my public key from my profile as I read someone here mention you shouldn't do that due to bad OPSEC.

Yes.... I know.....

So the only way I can think to get the coins back is to teach myself to brute force my old account. I see Hydra is popular. Any other program recommendations?

What are peoples thoughts on this? Will the Evo admin notice my comp hammering the website and punish/ban me somehow or should I be ok to at least have a go and hope for the best?

Probably. They'll most likely see it as an intrusion attempt and it may possibly send the server into lockdown mode.

Could you login with another account and tell admin things like your deposit address and a rough timeline of what you purchased from which vendors?

That might be enough just to get them to send your bitcoin to your new account.

Can you really, really REALLY not remember it? You must have logged in a few times if you have 2BTC stashed there.

I know this sounds completely crazy but maybe see if a hypnotherapist can help you remember/ jog your memory.

What did you do? Type out a string of random things on your keyboard?

Good luck mate... Evo is known for being with a shitty support system that removes negative feedback from vendors etc.
