Looks like he was still on a good one while being booked.
An undercover operation netted a Chicago man after he accepted a controlled delivery of ecstasy through the U.S. mail, prosecutors said.
Pablo Medina, 30, appeared before Cook County Judge Peter Felice on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.
According to the charges, the U.S. postal inspector had a parcel of ecstasy delivered through U.S. Customs and border patrol.
On July 21, Medina was observed allegedly picking up the package in the 7100 block of West 73rd Place in Chicago.
Authorities stopped Medina's vehicle a few blocks where a parcel containing 1, 010 tabs of ecstasy were found on the floorboard in the back seat, prosecutors said.
The container the drugs were sent in was found in a nearby garbage can. The prosecutor said the ecstasy had a street value of $35,000.
Medina has a pending delivery case in Lake County, the prosecutor said.
Bail was set at $250,000. Judge Felice wants to know where the money comes from before Medina is allowed to bond out.
Medina's next court appearance is Aug. 18 in Bridgeivew.
