Thoughts on drug running or human smuggling?

Semi related topic. The vast majority of drugs sold on the DNM are imported this way so just wondering what you guys think. We have direct connections with some cartels and other independent organized crime rings. We are obviously not offering work or looking for help but they are constantly looking for mules to import drugs via hidden vehicle compartments or drivers willing to smuggle humans through routes without CBP Checkpoints. The compensation is anywhere from 1,000.00 to 2,000.00 USD per kilogram/person. Shipments range from 4 to 10 kilograms (Meth or Cocaine) or 8-10 people. Very dangerous business, the risk does not appear to be worth the reward. Just curious to hear what you guys thought.

So I have some personal experience with it. I would definitely not recommend this. It's not worth the risk and cartels (as I'm sure you know) do not fuck around.

I grew up in San Diego, with family in Mexico, and have a dual citizenship in Mexico. As such I was back and forth from San Diego and Mexico quite a bit. A few years ago I worked a job in Tijuana. One night out on the town a man in very nice clothing approached me asking if I'd like to make some money, curious I said yes, he said I needed to bring a package to a warehouse in San Diego over the border. Since I was a US citizen and travelled a lot, I figured it wouldn't be that big of a deal. I was a young, stupid kid, plus he didn't give me much of a choice -- when I expressed disinterest he said "Well, Wouldn't want anything to happen to your girlfriend xxx in Los Angeles would you?" I'm assuming he got my contact information from my employer, but not really sure. He gave me a package wrapped in plastic a million times (almost positive it was meth -- it didn't smell) that I brought back in my backpack in my family car. I was with my whole family so I thought i would blend in well. It worked, I got through and met at the specificed warehouse in San Diego. I was greeted by a few angry Mexicans wondering what this white kid is doing with their package. I was escorted into the warehouse where I saw assault rifles piled up, drugs to the ceiling, and people milling about who looked kind of like human trafficking victims, cleaning and sitting around. I was given $2500 and told to fuck off and keep my mouth shut or I'd never hear from my girlfriend again. I believed them.

I never contacted them again. It was good, easy money but seriously not worth the risk.

I wonder if they properly package it, or if its wrapped in plastic wrap. The humans not the drugs.

Any drug not manufactured in the country in which it is sold is often smuggled this way. Not just the DNMs, but somewhere along the chain, probably a few people removed, come the DNM vendor. I seriously doubt there is a DNM vendor that close to the product once it enters. Those are usually controlled by large distributors - part of the cartel or cartel affiliates.

The work pays a lot bc there is a shitload of risk involved. There is never a free lunch and this is no exception. Once in a while you get a stupid American or European who flies to Columbia and finds themselves in a cell in a country that'd make the worst person in the US look like the Waldorf Astoria, at least before a chinese conglomerate bought them out. lol.

You also have natives who'll risk life and limb due to their present circumstances. To them, the money is riches. And if they succeed, then they'll prob try again and fail at some point.

For an interesting distribution channel look at the Jalisco Boys and their heroin distribution network. They were unique in that they control the product from the creation to the tiny baggie stuck under the tongue of a Jalisco native (right before he spits it out to give to a customer). Very interesting group and LE had no clue what they were dealing with. After a while they happened to noticed the low level dealers they were arresting all hailed from the same little village in Mexico. While I'm sure they did use unsavory tactics getting it across the border, my understanding is they didn't pull people off the streets to coyote them across. Going to the states with heroin was a right of passage for many a young Jaliscoan.

You're going to get caught and spend a lot of years in a Mexican prison because if you were smart enough to pull this off you wouldn't be trying to get people on the Internet to tell you its a good idea. Watch some of those smuggling tv shows where they get caught so you can see how bad a recreation of those prisons are and then forget about the idea. Or do it and get killed.

I have watched many banged up abroad episodes. I do not think about doing this at all.

If they pay me in fish scale coke wholesale price and I choose my own schedule then I would probably do a few runs.

Just out of curiosity, what happens to someone who gets caught, both legally and with the cartels? I'm assuming they would be prosecuted in Mexico? Will the cartels kill you if you get caught?

This is what a war on drugs brings. However im unsure if you mean they are smuggling humans for slave labor or to be sold than thats called being a shitty person. Smuggling humans in general are things that not even the war on drugs can be blamed for, cant wait for the next to pres to secure our borders and let the states decide on what drugs are legal and not. Libertarians highly support a free state and thats how we got weed into Alaska. People need to wake up and realize that some on the other side are trying to do get drugs leaglized the wrong way. WHATS NOT SPELLED OUT IN THE CONSTITUTION AND BILL OF RIGHTS IS UP TO THE STATES TO DECIDE ON. Conservatives in congress will shut down any attempt to legalize nation wide without blinking but a state, between the cross of libertarians and stoners can get it done.

You only get one chance with the cartel, you fuck up, you die. You fuck up and they can't get to you, your family dies. An interesting thing my friend told me (RIP brodie) who was in the Marines, was that the cartel likes to hire Marines stationed by the border to smuggle immigrants. He told me this was because of their miltary ID and them being in Marines, that they had easy access in and out of the border without being suspicious. They would get paid $$$$$$ thousands to do it.

[1 Points] Tweek-er_Timmy:

i bet they are lol. jkn hey someones gotta do it. i want cheap meth. but idk eh...i,m bout as far/high up the chain as i wanna go. not fer me. its all a calculated risk reward game i guess

idk about the people smuggle part draws media, beefs up border sec. thats gotta be bad for drug runners

[1 Points] ShakinBottleSyndrome:

I would be willing to do it, but only drugs and they gotta be double vac packed and the secret compartment has to be genius. But I would definitely be down.

When is a vendor gonna start selling babies is all I wanna know

[1 Points] None:

Direct connection to cartels? Yeah right bro. Cartels don't fuck with people unless their buying 100 kilos at a time. No one moves enough weight on the dnms for a cartel to directly fuck with them and never will. The dnm is so small in the drug world

[1 Points] givemeoil420:

i would say there have been vendor cartel connections for MDMA and Cocaine and Meth ..... maybe a long way down the food chain... but the locations, quality and price screamed cartel

[1 Points] None:

There were a few vendors on the dnm, selling various products, from heron to meth and inbetween, ounces, riduclous good prices, hell if you were sketched of a pack being sent from mexico to you, they offered a U.S pack sent to you, but that would cost a little extra $ i thought forsure they were cartel...what else could it be? i mean there fucking smart...the dnm is secure, and if you FE it's instant money so if they decide to call it quits you end up with thousands and thousands before dipping

Once upon a time I ran LSD and MDMA from Canada to the US and sold it myself on the pre-pre-pre-darknets. I didn't fit the profile. I knew the right people. I was never seriously searched. I made out like bandits and then stopped when I felt that it wasn't as safe as before when they started requiring passports.

If you work for yourself it's great though. My car's hiding spot required a physical deformity on my body to hyperextend 2 joints to reach.
