I feel like more people should upvote reviews unless they seem shilly.

Even the really comprehensive ones from reputable DNM redditors get like 10 or less and many probably go unnoticed. In my opinion they are the most important /r/DarkNetMarkets threads

EDIT: seriously appreciate all the upvotes guys! now go upvote some reviews! :)

The biggest problem is satisfied customers don't really review, it's called the silent majority. People only bother to review if their angry (scammed) or super happy, for instance if they got extra product or it arrived super quickly or whatever. Some people don't even leave a review warning that they got scammed or that the vendor took a week to ship. IDK what the fuck everyone is so afraid of, but you should realize if you don't do that, you are helping the vendor fuck over even more people.

Besides bothering to comment that you had a good experience, the biggest thing I would like to see is for people to stop believing lies that the post office caused your delays. Vendors constantly lie about that, and people just believe it. If you bother to look up the tracking number on the pack once you get it, you will Always see that vendors took forever to put your package in the mail. I've made about 200 purchases since I started, and I always check out of curiosity. In all that time, one purchase was delayed 1 day because of the holiday. They never fuck up that badly. If a vendor says this to you, he is lying.

Vendors latch on to the holidays as an excuse to get sloppy, but I promise that if any of you buying product in the US actually type in the numbers once your late pack is delivered you will see it was because it was put into the mail late.

I reviewed some dank from budindustries and it disappeared. nobody said anything or upvoted and i took a good bit of time taking TONS of pictures which IMHO speak louder than any words I can type up about the bud..

Well seems like reddit has fun deleting my long replies...

This is an important topic for me. I always try to write reviews for any new vendors I try. I takes a LOT of time writing proper reviews.

take pictures, crop and blur them, log into tails, do tails stuff, strip exif data, upload pictures, test product, write review, post review to reddit and the market.

and I don't even know if there's a point in writing them anymore. If noone sees (or upvotes) my reviews, how do I now my effort wasn't wasted? I admit I tried upvote cheating on my last to give them more visibility but got my ass handed by reddits votefuzzing algorithm, but haven't on my last and am curious how it will be recieved.

I don't care about upvotes but they are an indicator that the energy the review took was well spent. It gives motivation to write new ones..

i'll chime in real quick just by saying for me personally, as a married man to a strict catholic girl, where if it's not the lord's wine shame on you mentality, I virtually never have an opportunity to bust out all the stuff I get off the DNMs, lots and lots of shit, and just take tons of sexy photos and drop mad reviews all over reddit. to sit on my computer and make sure the pics i like are stripped of exif and uploaded blah blah,

to be as discreet as i like to be, especially to review some gear, requires a level of privacy my life rarely affords me

I agree. It seems like a tight knit group....

[2 Points] justaniceyoungman:

I also agree. The community runs on reviews. The problem is that a lot of people make throwaway accounts to make a single review so a lot seems shilly even though they are genuine.

Especially on small time vendors like myself.

When people have left me excellent reviews in the past on throwaway accounts nobody believed them which is frustrating. But I can't be mad at them because I would think the same...

[2 Points] dnmThrowaway_90:

I'd like to throw in my agreement too. I almost always write reviews, but I understand they don't get noticed much because I use throwaway accounts (like this one!)

That said, I ALWAYS use the reddit reviews to decide what vendors to buy from. Market reviews? Useless. Reddit reviews (that aren't obvious shills) are GOLDEN. Again, it's how I decide who to buy from and who to avoid.

There needs to be more gratitude and plain recognition of good reviews on here. We do have to be careful not to let shill reviews take over, but when 30+ people say a vendor is legit and did them right, I'm always going to listen.

I've tried new substances based on good reviews and am glad I did (RIP MXE). If you have a good experience with a vendor, TELL US about it. If you got fucked, TELL US ABOUT IT. Sorry for posting with a throwaway, it's just how I roll. But yeah, OP has it spot on.

Dually upvoted sir. Lol

[1 Points] GrandMasta216:

I agree, I upvote every single review I see.

Unless it has an obvious shill vibe to it.

Reviews are really important in this biz

My reviews seem to get a pretty nice amount of attention, averaging around 20-30 upvotes. Dunno why my MDMAmphetamineUSA MDMA review with Marquis test reaction picture got downvoted into oblivion though...

[1 Points] pwoahway:

People are really excited to place their first 5 reviews, but 500...not so much. Conversely those first 5 are often quickly dismissed as shill, just because the account is new and the review is positive because the basis for comparison is so much smaller. I've been labeled a shill for at least a dozen different vendors.

[0 Points] None:

most vendors go unnoticed in general, have you ever taken a free sample in exchange for a reddit review? Vendor is always gone within a month. We have a great review section for every vendor on the marketplaces themselves, and those we can be more sure aren't the vendor pretending to be himself, since it costs too much to pay 4% for each review. I think the most important part is quality reviews over there, and more specifically to not leave "FE will update, 5/5"

[-1 Points] None:

I just wrote a review, and I only got 1 upvote :( Yet, an image from a video game gets 60 upvotes? Pretty fucking lame if you ask me.

give me a review some love.
