I have been thinking a lot recently: about my customer base, vendors with whom I share my acquaintance with, and about my slowly declining number of clients.
After a lot of extensive research, I have concluded that the reason why many new vendors do not keep getting clients is because people feel a lot safer ordering from a big name with a lot of reviews and the same price. After a lot of thinking, I said to myself, "What if the prices weren't the same?"
Now here we are. My fellow vendors (other vends i collaborate with) and I will be sending out discount codes via 2 day shipping to ANYONE who has purchased from us. We want you to know that we value your business, and that ordering from new vendors is just the same thing as ordering from the big names.
We will not be revealing our identities on this post since Reddit is easily backtraced, but I think I have reached out to most of my customers about sending the code so they know it's coming.
What do you think? Would receiving discount codes from us new vendors incline you to purchase from us, or do the big names get to keep all the business no matter what?
So... Why are you keeping peoples addresses? That seems fishy...
