Like drug dogs aside, just on labeling alone, has this ever really been a problem or is it just not possible for the USPS to do this provided you change up your return addy often?
[vendors] Has package profiling ever been a problem?

Mr Crappy's associate had a package seized. He believes the package was profiled, as this was a non-scent item. Tip-offs- frequent express (over night) parcels, handwritten label, fake return add.

My favorite vendor goes the extra mile and does something that I regard as "best practice" regarding return address- she will actually provide a custom return address based on your specifications. That is, if my fake business is "Joe's Computer Repair" she will do a return address of "Sally's Computer Parts Supply". That way the address is unprofilable.

I've always been curious if the return address is a real, random address not linked to the vendor or a completely fake one?

Yeah the Steven Sadler complaint is a VERY interesting read. It gives you insight of what a top vendor goes through on a regular basis. If u haven't read it yet, I highly suggest u take the time to read it!! =)
It was a problem for Nod:

Hand written labels are not the way to go.
