Lost secret key - Unable to verify 2FA on Nuc

Hello - Any help would be appreciated. I backed up my secret key to a thumb drive and proceeded to formatted my PC. When attempting to import my key, it's importing as a way old certificate I no longer use. I have no idea how this happened.

Because of this, I can not verify my 2FA on Nucleus, thus not allowing me to log in. Is there anything I can do?

No

Unlikely, try making another account and message support. Tell them what happened and include your purchase history with vendors and order amounts and dates of you can. Deposit and withdrawal dates and address also help verifying identity. Any BTC in your wallet as well you will want to be specific as possible.

Nah that's the whole point of 2fa so that anyone who doesn't have the private key can't access the account(that includes you unfortunately). Sounds like you backed up the wrong key set to me.

This is sadly 100% your fault, you should have made sure you made a correct backup before burning the bridge.
