Lost enough last time it went away myself I'm glad I had an empty wallet and never opened shop when I read the news this time.
So we added multisig. which is great because it takes all the power away from one side and divides it into 3. But no one uses it because they are still figuring out PGP.
I think a P2P style marketplace could work. You would get a client that had tor included, it would run like bitmessage and repeat itself for days. Clients would cache data and receive encrypted updates from other clients. every update, change or message would need to be signed and verified. Vendor updates signed by vendor, site updates by admin. A purchase would just float around until a vendor logged in or it would expire.
One thing I hated about SR2 was it didn't have the purge feature agora has. Vendors can purge anything that's 14 days old. I like to believe that it is really now gone and being over writen or something.
Ulbricht used time lock encryption on his bitcoin wallets and gave them to his friends. This marketplace could almost run in a similar way as bitcoins do except the blockchain would forever only be x blocks long and would purge data automatically
p2p has always been strong, its hard to ddos a mesh topography.
or maybe its the drugs
I never heard that. Got a source?
