Burner phone apps

I saw a post earlier about what to say about a burner phone, but that seems difficult to just deny. I know most people have a burner phone, but for those that it just isn't financially reasonable, would you consider apps like "burner" to be a good alternative?

I'm not asking for advice or personal reasons, I'm just trying to start a discussion. The way technology moves, it seems like having a separate phone is just extra details to have to explain if caught, but if you have your phone locked up, no one can see it or find the app.

don't do things that require a burner phone if you can't afford a burner phone. simple.

All those apps record your number and what numbers you use so they are useless for any criminal activity.

Lol if you can't afford a burner phone you aren't a big enough target to need one. Just use signal or some shit but remember no app is completely safe, especially if you have an iPhone.

In Australia in officeworks, there's a $20 smartphone that literally works like a (pretty) slow flagship phone, it's got Android kit Kat on it.... doesn't sound too financially unreasonable!

Can you not afford a burner phone? They're about £20

If you can't afford $30 + $15 a month then you should have enough saved by making $1.50 an hour when you get out or prison.
