Drug Money For Charity! Send Leftover Coins After DNM Purchases To Charity, And A Vendor Will Match It

Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Heri za Kwanzaa, Joyous Festivus, and Jolly FSM-encourages-presents day!

How many times have you finished a DNM purchase, and have a little 'loose change' left over just sitting in a market, unused? Let's use those leftover bits to help those in need!

This Holiday season you're invited to join in a DarknetMarket charity drive. My intention is for other vendors and customers to join me and make this holiday season great.

What I'm prepared to do: Until December 31, I (and hopefully some other vendors) will match all donations made from other DNM users to their favorite charity, using proofofdonation.com or any charity that accepts bitcoin, such as: www.erowid.org/donations/donations_cryptocurrency.php www.thewaterproject.org/donate-bitcoin www.maps.org/donate/bitcoin www.torproject.org/donate www.geti2p.net/en/get-involved/donate American Red Cross (https://bitpay.com/520663/donate)

This next section will be updated as more vendors join in.

Currently Participating Vendors:
http://grams7enufi7jmdl.onion/vendor/SFTreats
http://grams7enufi7jmdl.onion/infodesk/vendor/TripWithScience

How it works:

Send your extra bits directly to the charity of your choice, then comment here and on Dec 31st we'll match it with the same donation amount.

HOW YOU CAN HELP:

WHY SHOULD WE DO THIS?

Because we can.

Because it's a good thing to do.

Sincerely,

Trip.

[PS: I spoke briefly with a couple mods about this, and they expressed concern that if something happened and I couldn't make my contribution as planned (I never donate, or spill apple juice on my wallet, etc.) then the community might blame them, because this is the internet. So I hereby declare "The subreddit moderators are not affiliated with this post, AND there is no endorsement by the mods, implied or otherwise, of any charity mentioned in this thread."]

Wow, the fact that this has garnered as much negativity from commenters as it has is exactly why I rarely post on this sub anymore.

As for Trip, thank you for spearheading this and thank you for your continued work to share your success and positivity with the world. You are already doing a good thing by risking your freedom to bring people your product when you're obviously smart enough to make money legally if you choose. Your product was my very first foray into psychedelics and I am a better person as a result.

As always, keep making the world better but please, please, please don't ever forget that there are teams of people who are working to find you and lock you in a cage. Your good deeds are awesome but don't ever let them increase the size of the target on your back.

Holy shit, I clicked on this link hoping to see some holiday spirit and was greeted with a bunch of Scrooges.

[11 Points] throwitwaywaywayaway:

Alright, might as well get the party started -- I sent .02998btc (about $12.70) to doctors without borders through proof of donation. It will probably show up on their page shortly.

[9 Points] coffeencreme:

Fucking hell you guys, the guy is doing an incredible and generous thing. What is wrong with you people?

Trip, mad kudos and respect and ignore the idiots in the thread.

[8 Points] None:

Thank you TWS. Merry Christmas.

[5 Points] papayabananatree:

This is the kinda stuff that they'd never show at a DPS like trial or in the media. Cuz the darknet is full of assassins fore hire, kalashnikovs, and uranium. Obviously.

[4 Points] ffatty:

What about donations to Erowid? :)

[4 Points] SFTreats:

I'm a new vendor, and I'll definitely participate in this.

[3 Points] iliketothrooawayyfoe:

fuck these haters - /u/TripWithScience what market are you on? I want to give you my money.

[2 Points] Vendor_BBMC:

I think this is a very noble gesture by tripswithscience, and it should be applauded.

Respect.

[2 Points] PirateRadioBroadcast:

I am a new vendor (Just set up and about to launch this coming week), and have not even had any sales as of yet, but if there is a list or something, I could help out a bit. I am not a rich PirateRadioBroadcast or established vendor, which is why I am vending to begin with, but I will help.

edit: a word.

I would love to see this happen. This si the type of thing that makes me feel a bit more faith in humanity lol Even if nobody participates I really hope you do decide to donate anyway. If you can that is. Never know who your helpin out.

[1 Points] sillysally11:

Fantastic idea. You've earned respect from me. I just wish I had btc to donate. It's not a lame excuse, I really don't have any loose bits, haven't been active in a while, and buying small amounts is not possible over lbc. Anyhow, very generous of you!

[1 Points] None:

I vote to allow Lobali to control the donations. Totally trusted! /s

Not too long ago I gave a £100 to a cancer research guy who came to my house. Not gonna lie, a little bit was because I was smoking weed and I didn't wanna risk him ratting me out if I didn't give him "enough".

But mainly because he sold that like a motherfucker. I was talking to him about half an hour. Quizzing him on everything I thought was bullshit.

Then I gave him cash haha, you should of seen his face "well, we usually do a direct debit mandate"

No, im good man, here just take this. Swing by in 3 months or whatever.

Anyway my point is, I'm good for charity for the time being. haha! you lot crack on though

[1 Points] Hank_Vendor:

because this is the internet.

hahaha

Donated 0.0104 toward helping this Serbian woman get her home back after authorities stuck her with a fine much larger than she has the means to pay for having hemp plants growing on her property: https://bithope.org/campaign/help-the-old-mother-bojia-campaign Blockchain transaction here: (removed cause I guess that isn't allowed)

[1 Points] discoinfierno:

Just in case anyone is still reading this, a couple good charities I found that accept BTC donations include: WarChild.ca and MealExchange.com. I also found this cool Bulgarian company that is advocating the use of bitcoin for donations to charities in their area. I donated 0.011 to this one but there is no way to verify since they don't make amounts public: https://bithope.org/campaign/help-the-old-mother-bojia-campaign

(basically authorities fined an old woman for having hemp growing on her property and she can't afford to pay it)

[1 Points] None:

This is a great idea, thanks for the suggestion! No need to match my donation, but I just wanted to express my gratitude for putting the idea in my head.

[1 Points] bertjoey:

I could not find a large organization that fights human and sex trafficking and also accepts bitcoin, alas this will do --- sent .01769099 BTC to www.thewaterproject.org/donate-bitcoin
