Trying to kick the habit, need a little help

So after one of my longer "on" periods of H use, the time has come for me to kick the habit (at least for now) and I need some help. Getting subs (any; suboxone or subutex) has become impossible. I usually taper with H until Im down to my last bag then I like to switch to subs for a full week then begin to taper off those as well. This method has worked extremely well for me, however ive been unable to complete it.

I have no access to subs locally and i dont know which vendors(if any) are both reputable and have subs.

If anyone has any tips on kicking H in general, or to point me in the right direction on the darknet it would be much appreciated. I love you all :)

edit i thought I should add; I only snort dope, Ive never used a needle. Also im on the XXL side. 6'2'' 260lbs (muscular, but mostly fat) if that means anything.

Someone do the math im a lazy American

Reading posts like this is the reason Im terrified of H and would never dear to try it. I know Im not strong enough. Good luck, I hope you make it!

Loperamide (OTC), valium, plenty of Gatorade. The worst of it ends in three days but give it a week to feel like a normal human being. Sleep as much as you can. Good luck brother I've been clean two weeks and I see the instability of the DNMs as a blessing (sort of not really, but I would've relapsed had it not been for BB and SS exit scamming). We play a game that has no winners.

There's no easy cure, that's why it has an %80 failure rate. I you want to get fully clean jump into NA, get a sponsor and work the steps. If you just want to substitute(my route) get on a methadone clinic. Stay away from anyone who uses. Once your at a comfortable dose and you've gotten away from the habit of fixin daily, start decreasing. Once you get to about 20mg switch to a sub doctor. Because of the explosion of pain killer addiction meth/sub clinics are popping up everywhere. The key is you have to be honest with yourself to know if your ready to stop. Everyone says they're ready but few mean it. If your serious there is help out there, but you have to accept it. I can also say with %100 certainty short term rehabs, rapid detox, or any other "easy solution will not work. good luck

subs4days is good. Not sure if I saw him on alphabay or abraxas, but if you look around and happen to see him, I highly, highly recommend him.

Never used heroin, but I have shamelessly abused oxycodone, and been through a few taper down periods with it. Both H and Oxy are powerful opiates, so I'll go out on a limb and assume that similar titration principles apply. A vendor that has been reliable through turbulent changes on the DNM scene for years is Oxywave, currently on Agora. He's never offered subutex, so he might not have what you're seeking. I mention this vendor mainly because the max shipping time I've had with him is 3 business days and that's over the course of many orders. Consider him for a fallback option.

I feel ya man, as I've been there. I've never used subs, so I can't compare. But, I've tried damn near every other method.

IMHO, and you'll hear lots of people say lots of things, but for me the two best things are clonidine and benzos. Clonidine is very helpful, but benzos are a godsend. The problem is, they're addictive as fuck- deadly even- but they sure do help.

Good luck :-/

[1 Points] someone-who-is-me:

You probably won't find vendor info there but people at /r/opiates can be very helpful to you with advice on kicking, subs, jumping off, stuff like loperamide and kratom etc. I think there's also an opiates recovery sub somewhere.

[1 Points] WonkyWarrior:

Kratom for a few days might help more than subs I reckon! easier to come off. Ketamine and MXE are also 2 substances that might make withdrawls easier :) .

[1 Points] Derrick4Real:

Clonidine, brand name Catapres for hot/cold flashes. It's a blood pressure med...rx'd quite a bit to older folks. Try and find some.

Diphenhydramime, to help with watery eyes and running nose...also helps with sleep. 25mg/50mg.

Definitely Benzos for the first 3 days.

Subutex if you can score...if not...that's about it.

Proglumide is a great help, but is hard to find in US.

Edit: meant Proglumide not Loperamide

Ibogaine has been known to knock out cravings in a about a week, but you do trip. Do more research though if you choose this path.

Get some benzos or sleeping pills, take a few days off work and everything. You'll feel like shit and tired, just lock yourself in a room with cable TV and sleep it off for a few days.

I always felt tappering was just prolonging the inevitable. Plus, I don't have the self control to tapper. When it's gone it's gone, lock yourself way, and sedate yourself as much as possible until it's out of your system.

I was on the same boat as you. WEED, BOOZ, AND ROLLS helped me fight the h withdrawals. Lots of advil and sleep aid too lls. If i can do it, then you can too! I hope you get better. First month was rough. It'll take time.

If you're really in deep, then your best bet is to just taper off. Tapering helped me get clean.

hi /u/bakedpastaparty I have gotten subs from Asphyxiated on a few markets. totally professional, let me know exactly when he was getting his resupply so I had a sense of timing. I ordered on a Thursday evening and they arrived Monday with my mail. So, basically 2 day shipping.

so far as quitting. I've had a lot of success with a fairly long Sub taper, I cut one 8/2mg into 32 pieces. and dose .25mg every 24 hours, for about 2 weeks at the end. Then jump off with relative comfort with clonidine. I have no idea why, but I only need about .25mg effective does (cutting those little pills into quarters is a bitch).

If I have a benzo or two, I'll try not to take them for as long as possible, and never two days in a row. I know this sounds totally absurd from someone who had a pretty big H/oxy habit at one point, put I am SUPER panicked about getting addicted to benzos, so I never take them more than 1 night in a row.

One thing I don't recommend that I see bouncing around in some places is a larger "kicker" dose. So, if you've tapered down to about .25mg bupe, on your last day, take 1-2mg, under the theory that because of the very long half life you'll have more bupe in your system for longer, so the immediate effects of withdrawal will be smoothed out (note: if I stay away from H or other shorter half life opiates, and am just on bupe for a month, I got almost 24 hours before I start feeling real side effects). The larger kicker dose just makes me really high if I've been on <.5 mg for a month, so the "phenomenon of craving" hits me really hard.

hope this helps.

Maybe more info/opinion than you wanted, but I'm actually really conflicted about totally quitting. I feel like at really small doses of opiates (.25 and lower for bupe) I have more energy, am more productive at my job, and generally happier. I get the "slave to a drug argument" but if I was taking a regular dose of an anti depressant, society would feel much differently. IDK... Just rambling now.

edit: grammar

Nobody ever mentions gabapentin (http://opiateaddictionsupport.com/gabapentin-for-opiate-withdrawal-symptoms-relief/) nor hydroxyzine (http://journalofethics.ama-assn.org/2004/01/cprl1-0401.html) for opiate withdraw. Oh and seroquel for the sleep aid.

Please note that I have never been addicted to opiates (I binge for a few days 2-3 times a year so when I stop I mainly just don't get a good nights sleep for a night and feel like crap for a day). The journal of ethics links seems to have quite a few suggestions.

If you can take the time, in patient detox is the way to go. Its pretty shitty in there but it guarantees you will get through the rough early parts. God speed.
