First Sigaint, now this? what the bloody fuck

Does anyone know of any other email which works over TOR or is this just too much to ask for these days?

check out https://www.reddit.com/r/darknetmarkets/wiki/superlist#wiki_email_providers_.28more_here.29 and https://www.reddit.com/r/emailprivacy/wiki/index#wiki_tor_accessible_hidden_webmail_providers for other services. also just because m2t is down it does not mean they will not come back.

Bitmessage never goes down.

Sigaint was the best. I wonder what happened to all the data from their servers.

Still down. Arrrr seems like everytime I register an email address after paying or donating that it shortly goes down. First SIGAINT then lelantos now mail2tor.

I am setting up new email and updating GPG uid if mail2tor not backup soon. In meantime if anyone needs to contact me bitmessage still works. I think of now really bitmessage better it decentralized and not dependent on centralized server that could fail.

But why not to take clearnet provider (for example Tutanota) which encrypts your email and connect to it via Tor? Doesnt it give same outcome?

Use cock.li.

It even has a hidden service.

This e-mail situation is annoying:

  1. Sigaint - dead.
  2. AnonInbox - wants 0.1 btc to sign up!
  3. Bitmaila - signed up, paid fee, no access to account yet
  4. mail2tor - down
  5. protonmail - says I need to get an SMS message or pay via CC (!!!) to register because I'm connecting from a tor node.
  6. riseup - account.riseup.net 404 error (!!!), can't sign up
  7. scryptmail - can't send, it says "bad signature" when I try
  8. systemli - need an invitation code to join
  9. torbox - can't send/receive to clearnet domains

And then of course there's the annoying fact that some of these require JavaScript...
