I was stupid and FE'd and package didn't come after 21 days domestic. I accepted that I'd been scammed and just sent a meaage to the vendor saying I was disappointed, got this in return. What a lovely fellow..

Not related to this specific instance, but in general, what are y'all thinking when you make the decision to make a purchase from a small, new vendor in favor of a well known, established, well rated vendor? I just don't see the possible upside to buying from a lesser known vendor, especially since they rarely even have better prices due to the small scale of their operation (assuming they actually have an operation and aren't totally scamming).

Who the FUCK still FE's. I understand some established vendors require it, but more often than not they have earned the trust they requesting. A new, barely reviewed vendor asking for FE is about as trustworthy as the hoodrat on the corner saying he needs the money up front to run in the house and get my shit. You know he's just running out the backdoor with your money.
Name and shame them. Fuck that guy.
