Quick question about PO box ID requirements

I recently moved to another state and I have not yet been able to make a trip to the DMV and get a new license. However, I am still in possession of the house listed as my address on my old license and on my passport. Will this be accepted as proof of address when I go and get a PO box? What should I say to the people there if they question the fact that my address is in another state?

Thanks

Depends on the post office, I had to go through old boxes and find my "Voter registration ID" .. what the fuck who keeps that? Me I guess, and I'm lucky because the guy at the post office wouldn't accept a piece of mail w/ my address or whatever. Had to be passport & license, or License & Voter ID.

Weird right?

You only need 1 ID with a photo on it, your passport should work fine, but passports do not contain your address (writing it in doesn't count 0.0). You must obtain a valid proof-of-address document as well, such as a current utility bill to that address, a lease agreement/a deed, or any other formal paperwork attached to your address.

Depends on the Post office/state but 90% you are fine.
