My experience ordering weed on the DNM's have been mostly excellent, with some minor hiccups. I've never been scammed by anyone, and I've always considered the quality/price ratio to be excellent (this varies by location though - if you live in a permissive med state I see no purpose for DNM weed).
Vendor:
Budbroker (EVO): During the bitcoin crash he never shipped out an order, the order auto-canceled and BTC was worth less
Psychotropix (EVO, he's also on ag): Runs a very professional OP, clearly has his shit down. There's more strain choice from here, although he may be out of stock from some. His quality/price ratio is not the best, but he's very reliable.
StrattonOakmont (Ag, he's also "stratton" on evo): His "top-shelf" is a little pricey but really fucking good. I haven't tried his midshelf strains; they might be an excellent value too. He posts high-res pics of product on listings and the order matches the pictures - this makes him possibly the most reliable. Fast shipping too.
GreenKing (Agora): Some of the best quality/price ratio, extremely nice guy, but a bit less reliable. Had a minor mistake where an O wasn't shipped in a 2 O package. He apologized for the mistake, asked for finalization, and quickly shipped the other O out. Although there was a minor issue, GreenKing's fixing of it makes me trust him more as a vendor. Still, he seems a little less on-top-of-things; I'm sure it comes with the job.
USDank: An up and coming star in the DNM weed world. His quality/price ratio is excellent, and his shipping speed insane. He also tells buyers expected arrival time after orders, which is a very nice and helpful touch. He seems committed to building an excellent reputation by getting reviewers. Also he plans to keep the price the same, and his prices are possibly the best.
GreenStreet (agora) This was for kief. I received the order super quickly, and the kief was good quality for a great price. $300 an O.
General Comments:
First, I'm happy to say that all of the vendors have more than enough stealth. It's excellent that vac seal + iso + mbb + other shit has become standard practice - we all know from experience with the open source world that security by obscurity doesn't work.
Vendors should:
-Be online at least daily
-Post real pictures of their product (safely of course, over tor on a good hosting website)
-Avoid asking for FE but ship out fast so they get money fast (also less money in escrow in case of market crash)
-Actually have order shipped out when they mark "shipped"
-Have well-organized and comprehensive information on their profile
-Be careful with return addresses and use multiple drops
-Be honest about quality of product
-Cancel order immediately if they can't fulfill it
Vendors shouldn't:
-Require FE for most orders (some exceptions are fine)
-Ignore messages
-Keep addresses
-Get too high on the job (cough... PFM cough... Poppermachine)
Comment on Multisig
After the major shitstorm with SR being shut down, SR2 "getting hacked," other markets "getting hacked," and market exit scams, it seems that we should all be using multisig. When I first heard of multisig, I thought the idea was brilliant. However, for the majority of us, who are busy, frequently on drugs, or technically inept, the convenience of an escrow system trumps the reduced chance of losing coins by market theft. Time is money, and the excess effort required for multisig takes a lot of it. Furthermore, very few of the major vendors even use multisig. It's a bitch that TMP, the multisig pioneer, is not reaping the rewards for their ultra-secure site. However, I feel that someone will eventually create an easier-to-use but secure multisignature system that will become standard. I believe that Evo would be more likely to steal all the coins than Agora. It's proven itself to be a bit more unethical by letting vendors like PFM continue and allowing fraud. It also doesn't have the long successful track-record of btcfog.
What exactly is multisig, I have made a few escrow purchases and would like to know why multisig is better
