I get letters sent to my PO box all the time from cable companies and shit all the time addressed to "San Francisco Neighbor". I've started to think on my next order I should put that as my name on the address, except it might look funny to have USPS first class addressed as that. Anyone ever done this?
And no I don't live in San Fran...
No no no no! This increases your risks so much. It stands out. While a business mailer has this shit (usually with that commercial postage as well), it'd look weird on ANYTHING but a letter. Maybe if you were getting acid or something, and that's a big maybe.
It offers zero additional protections. While psychological it might (as it gives you an emotional distance b/w you and the crime), nobody is fooled by this. If LE happened to intercept such a parcel, the addressee name is of no consequence.
Remmeber the goal here is to reduce your risk, not increase it.
