First time trying BlackBerry Haze and I was pleasantly surprised. Got three nice buds from HumboldtFarms that went down very well. It didn't start off that great though. I didn't have any papers or a bowl because I've gotten so accustomed to vaping cannabinoid oil but no vendor seems to offer this strain for vaping. I decided to try one of those globe atomizers that go on your vape battery for burning herb like an old fashioned car lighter. What a giant mess that made!
The globe atomizers for wax/Shatter work pretty well but the one for herb just ain't up to the task! The people at HumboldtFarms had dried that buds nicely so they ground very well. Despite that the atomizer had no sort of grill or cover at all so the herb just wouldn't stay packed down in the piece so it wouldn't burn continuously forcing me to have to remix and repack the herb after almost every hit with a toothpick which made a mess. After a half hour I just gave up on using it altogether. If anyone know of a reliable herb atomizer that can go on 510 thread batteries let me know in the comments below!
After that I took all the herb that hadn't burned which was a lot and decided to make myself a CannaBannana Smoothie. The herb liquefied nicely in the blender and the earthly taste of the BlackBerry Haze wasn't too powerful so it went down nicely. I started feeling the stuff kick in about 45 minutes after downing it. My whole body started to feel incredibly light and time slowed down. After a while I noticed all my back and muscle pains were gone and I didn't seem to have a care in the world, a nice much needed relief from the bullshit I have to put up with on a regular basis. The effects lasted around three to four hours after which I had no problem getting a full good nights sleep.
This strain doesn't have many reviews on Leafly. The only side effect listed is cotton mouth which I didn't get after smoking or ingesting it which is great, most of the strains I like give me a ridiculous amount of cotton mouth. Nor did I get any other noticeable side effects from it.
Thanks HumboldtFarms, Frank "Grimey" Grimes
