Different types of lsd crystal? Wtf?

I was under the impression that lsd is lsd is lsd. Are there really different types of crystal, or is this some sort of marketing gimmick for vendors to push their product. Would I be getting ripped off if I paid $150 for 25 tabs of 100ug "Indian rose", instead of $100 for 25 tabs of 125ug jor#2 batch?

According to scientific principles, only the amount of (actual, not advertised) LSD matters.

According to anecdotal reports, isomers of LSD, other impurities, advertised dose, the color of the blotter, whether mercury is in retrograde, and general vibe of the vendor can all subtly affect the trip.

TYPES OF CRYSTAL

Needlepoint -very pure(95%) white powerdery crystal, was available in small amount`s. The best of the best

White Fluff -Very pure(95%) white light flakes of crystal. Still around and the most sought after. very pure

Silver -Good and clean(85-90%)-light grayish crystal.

Amber -Decent(70%?) This crystal varied from a light amber color to an almost dark brown color.

Lavender -(60-70%?) light purple to almost black colored crystal. Like amber it varied batch to batch.

TJ (tornado juice) - purity unknown.

Champagne -(50-60%) black crystal, nasty stuff IMHO.

They are just name brand marketing gimmick for the most part. What really matters is the purity of the xtal.

Crystal is crystal, though purities can be different. Those names are just brands though, nothing more.

It's more like a type of grading crystal

There's part of the synth for LSD where you have to have some very, very tight control over temperatures to control part of the reaction and ensure you get the highest yield of LSD25 out of your precursors as possible. If you start getting temperature fluctuations, you'll still get LSD25 but you'll also end up with minute amounts of other Lysergic compounds that can cause slight variations in the trip feeling as well as un-reacted precursors if the reaction is allowed to happen too rapidly.

LSD25 is the 25th Lysergic compound synthesized and catalogued by Hoffman and his associates. But it's only one of a range of Lysergic compounds that can result from variations in the tek used.

It's really only an issue with sub par chemist and shitty lab settings that don't give a damn about quality control of their product, precursors, or process. Since the DNM blew up, you almost have to go searching on purpose for the lowest quality crystal because certain individuals have been steadily supplying some of the cleanest shit I've ever tried in my life as long as you're willing to order international and pay what they're asking for it.

Its bullshit. Needlepoint and fluff do exist, needlepoint being slightly more pure, but it's all the dang same... I think a lot of times the vendors are lying and using the exact same crystal to

No, Indian rose is a certain sought after batch of xtal that was produced, hence the premium. Same with JoR#2. It's less common and more expensive than#1. It's supposed to be more visual than #1 according to people who have tried it

Waterford Crystal is my go to...Talk about BAM...bahahaha!!!!!

I've bought crystal off a now retired vendor named sunwu, and his stuff was a grayish color. I had a friend who was in the chemistry department of my university and he ran an nmr, melting point, as well as an xray crystallography test just for shits and giggles.

Well, as it turns out it's like, 98% pure. I've tripped bunches of times and sold lots of acid, and I gotta say sunwus stuff wasn't THAT much better than random shit I got from friends, dose for dose. Sure there was less jaw clenching, but that didn't change shit.

Moral of the story: as much as people like to talk about it, purity don't really mean shit. Dosage does.

I can't find it right now but I've seen a letter from Otto snow and he was saying that on lsd blotter it was common to lay other chemicals on there in the 60s to help counteract vasoconstriction and other side effects. Maybe some one can help me out by naming these chemicals but it's common to add additional beneifitial compounds to enhance the lsd experience

It's about levels of impurities, quality, types of precursors used, etc. Sure it's all LSD but none of it is made the same or turns out exactly the same. Some is better, purer, cleaner, dirtier, etc.

It's the same with MDMA. Some is white, some is darker, some smells stronger, some doesn't smell at all, some feels weaker, etc. It's all MDMA, but it's all slightly different depending on how it was made. No 2 batches of anything ever turns out exactly the same.

Just like babies, they're all different even if they have the same parents. Even twins aren't exactly the same.

As a lot of people said, scientifically it's all the same, besides the purities. I've only taken LSD around 30-40 times, so I'd consider myself moderately experienced with it, but Indian Rose is the only one that has been different for me.

As someone that's personally had "Indian rose" or whatever it actually is, it's the only acid that's really gave me different visuals than others.

I didn't have any expectations going into it or knew anything about it, I just wanted to try it out because HoS recommended it back in the day.

In terms of visuals the biggest difference is the presence of what I'd consider "claymation" or color chunks. Basically during the peak if you take over 150mics shit will turn Wallace and Gromit style. It sounds cool at first, but for more than 2 or 3 trips it gets old quickly.

Out of all the different crystals that vendors have offered this is the only one that has actually fully changed the visuals, not just making them more colorful or intense.

As for the chemistry, I have no idea how this can happen, but I'm just saying from personal experience of trying it around 3-4 times with all the same effects. The second I switched batches the claymation ceased.
