What are the legal implications of receiving in a state that has legalized MJ?

Does anyone have any idea or even care to speculate about the legal implications regarding sending MJ to a state that has already legalized it? I assume that since its being sent via the mail there must be some kind of legal breach. Anyway, just curious.

It's a crime (felony) to send/receive any sort of federally controlled substance in the US mail, regardless of the legality that substance may have in your state. I assume if you're in a legal MJ state and you need to get weed in the mail, you're probably underage, so that is also illegal.

How about shipped from CO to WA via UPS?

You need to realize. Local<state<fed. Fed wins, federally its illegal. As in if the DEA want to bust you in a Legal area they can. Also you can go between 2 different cities in CO and can have completely different Pot laws. Legal drug states are still illegal under Federal law.

Regardless of state laws, your already committing a felony the moment you mail ANY sort of federally illegal drug. It's irrelevant what address/state/city is on the shipping label.
