Meta | The darknet marketplace community needs 'Super Sites'. NOT niche sites or many options to choose from.

I hope the title's reasoning is something other people have considered and is self-explanatory since I'm fairly drunk but I'll attempt to explain while I open this as a topic for discussion.

Why do I believe this? It's harder for LEO to set up a honey pot. Reputation is paramount. Niche sites (e.g .Budster) perhaps sound appealing to some but with a smaller user base it takes longer to establish the same level of trust that SR had. While the dust is settling from the alleged arrest of SR's DPR and with SR's shutdown and BMR's shutdown (arguably the most reputable up to this point aside from SR), keep in mind that now is the prime time for LEO to set up shop (as a marketplace or as vendors but I'll focus on as a marketplace). Yes, darknet markets are a hydra, but 10 different sites to choose from just means increased risk to the user base. While people shuffle around from and to one site to the other, I hope leaders of the pack will emerge I can only hope we don't end up with a handful to 10 sites to conduct business on. In the timeline of things this is the Wild West: in 6 months to a year we shall see how the community orientates itself, but I sincerely hope it isn't with many sites but ONE or TWO reliable, trustworthy, secure, etc. 'Super Sites'.

I wouldn't trust any of the sites mentioned in the header. In my opinion, the only one that looks promising is /r/themarketplace/
