XANAX USERS: FORMER ADDICT - PLEASE READ FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY- DO NOT USE IT DAILY

last year I ordered a 500 pack from doc xan. He ended up sending me about 800.. I sold about 400 and kept 400. I started taking a half bar daily for the first week, it was great. After one week, I would take half a bar everyday and still have anxiety. this is where the addiction starts I had to up it to one bar a day to feel normal and no anxiety.... This kept happening every week until I was up to 15mg and still could function no problems. i was working a dangerous job where you have to be aware 100% of the time. Ended up accidentally cutting my hand and breaking my ankle. If you want anxiety relief, use a longer acting benzo like clonazepam or diazepam. The half life is way way longer than Xanax do you don't feel the need to pop a bar every 4 hours, it's also not as hard hitting and you have more use of your motorskills, Xanax is meant to stop a panic attack, klonopin and Valium or even lorazepam are to prevent them.. This is all based on my 7 month addiction and experience. Xanax is the devil to some people. When I finally realized I needed help, I went to my family doctor and broke down, told him I can't live life with as much anxiety I have.. dramatic I know lol. Told him about the Xanax addiction and he immediately tapered me off with clonazepam. 1mg in the morning and 1mg at night. It was a mind game at that point, I either wanted to get out of the addiction or stay where I was. I ended up tapering and it was the best decision of my life.

A better, healthy way to detox is to replace your addiction with something else. One example is Yoga, works great and there are many herbal teas I use for anxiety, if anyone has any questions or needs advice. Please DM or ask me. My addiction was really bad and I feel like I can help some people stuck in their addiction and want out

EDIT- I made this thread because of all the questions about Xanax and these kids popping bars like candies. Wait til you hear my tinfoil hat Tuesday theory, I'm sure it will get most of this community thinking!

Sorry if this post doesn't belong in this sub, I just see too many Xanax reviews around and they are all barred out reviews. It's pretty obvious you're addicted to bars when you order a 250 pack and your review of the product is when you're barred the fuck out and can't spell a single word... There's alternatives to being a retarded bar head.. You just have to want it. "Yesterday you said tomorrow''

My doctor has me at 6mg of xanax a day and on vyvanse and I have an ambien script. My boyfriend said the other day there is a very noticeable difference in my personality since I started taking xanax. I used to abuse it in college (5-10 bars a night while partying) along with other drugs so I never noticed anything until I was just taking xanax. I've tried tapering myself off but it's like SSRI withdrawal on steroids, I can't fucking handle it. I used to pop a few bars no problem and now I obsessively count and re-count them, I call my psychiatrist at least twice before my script is renewed because I'm terrified he'll forget and I won't have them. Fuck xanax.

I use it for 1 - 3 days in a row, then take 4 - 5 days off. Don't have any major problems with it, take as little as possible to achieve desired effect, and don't dose more than once per day.

I feel like this formula is the secret to using xanax recreationally.

good for you, ive tapered off twice using kpins aswell. the worst was an average of 16mg a day for like 6+ months.years ago.i mean i still keep a few for landing gear for i trip and stuff.

A better, healthy way to detox is not to simply replace a Benzodiazepine addiction with something else! Benzo withdrawals are one of the few that can actually kill you, so please please please don't just go cold turkey. Be safe and get professional help tapering off.

[2 Points] FromThatOtherPlace:

It's one of the worst drugs I've ever taken and I'll never ever take it again.

You'll all learn eventually benzo's are not to be messed with.

I pretty much believe Satan created these types of drugs.

You are doing good work, my friend. And well done! Any herbal teas suggestions? Thanks in advance

[1 Points] LostSomewhereInSpace:

Not sure how you didn't realize a short acting benzo wouldn't lead to addiction. Kinda like thinking you could take opiates everyday and not have addiction and side effects. If you take any benzo daily regardless of what it is you are going to develop an addiction, regardless of whether it's xanax or not, you may just not fiend as much. Pharms in general are the devil. Glad you're doing better though. Hope you can stay off.

See, having used Xanax recreationally some time ago, I found it just made me all barred out and didn't like it. So now, I actually have an anxiety issue years later and have no problem being prescribed them. I never understood how people can use them for fun and to get fucked up. There's better drugs for that IMO.

Xanax blows i went through a etizolam addiction and the withdrawals for that were horrendous. I think the only good thing is the half life is so short they went away fast it wasnt stretched out for so long. Withdrawals came down like thors hammer though. I was able to microdose lsd and stop cold turkey pretty much and then for a while xan was unappealing it didnt feel as good as it use 2.

6- months later it finally feels good occasionally i just hate how it dumbs u done etizolam was a little different with that though very clear head and mlre euphoric then alpra.

[1 Points] jhenry64:

my understanding is you shouldnt use daily for more than a few weeks. I have an upcoming opiate kick and intended to go pretty hard on the xanax for a week. in my past experience ive used em everyday for a couple weeks and stopped with no issues.

i had a very short stint with xanax addiction and withdrawals. i was just popping pills like candy it feels like. those few months were a blurr. but when i decided i wanted to stop, thats a bad idea. u dont really get to decide to just stop lol. in my mind i was done, but my body was addicted. then the withdrawals came. the cold sweats, anxiety, rapid heart beat, etc... i didnt know it was withdrawal, i never been through anything like that but my doc told me and gave me hydroxypam (i think thats what its called) and promethazine. within a few weeks i was back to me. i swear ill never let that happen again.

but it really put into perspective how things that are supposed to help us can be so bad. and understood and could sympathize with the mind of an addict now

I like your doctor.

I hate how popular xanax is around here. I feel like it ruins more lives than meth and heroin and those "hard" drugs that are so horrible they have to be schedule 1 , you know.

[1 Points] huzibizi:

USE IT HOURLY!!!!

Congrats on cleaning up!

[1 Points] powerman15:

I have been taking impossible doses and just realized I had a problem. On a bad day I'd take like 70 bars worth of ALP powder. Probably been more than that

Yeah daily your tolerance will sky rocket, 2 days ago i took 5mg and blacked out, yesturday i took 45mg in total through out a night + 2 shots of 40% and felt normal. If you're planning to keep doing xanax, which iam not anymore then just stick with doing it every few days to get desired effects. why downvote what i just experianced with tolerance? that is valuable info I couldn't easily find because peoples tolerances r different. OP himself pointed out he started having to increase dosage to get desired effect. You're all dumb af thinking taking 45mg with a high af tolerance is lies...

if you want anxiety relief. go fuck. seriously. the endorphins. Or exercise. It seems counterintuitive but anarobic is just as important as aerobic exercise
