Weird USPS Tracking? Possible interception?

Just a little background first, I've been a lurker on /r/DM and a user of the markets since back to Sheep about 2 years ago. Orders >100 times successfully all for personal use. I've never seen this before on my USPS tracking and it has me sketched so I was hoping someone might be able to provide any insight about similar experiences.

Tracking supplied from a vendor only says the following: -Accepted at facility -Departed facility -Arrived at facility (3 days later, this was 2 day priority) -Delivered

I have not received the package, and it says it was delivered in the early AM which is weird because my mail always comes in the afternoon. I also received a package today from a legit website delivered at the normal time. I spoke with that mailman (In my area we have new mailman every day, it's rarely the same one) and he said he's the second guy to come out and the first guy most likely delivered the package but to call the local office.

The reason this tracking has me sketched is that I've never seen tracking like this before. It doesn't mention anything about sorting, doesn't even say out for delivery or anything.

Has anyone ever seen this?

I'd say this may just be cognitive bias at work. Your attention is laser-focused on this one shipment that you're worried about, whereas all the other times that a package has been delivered by the early mail carrier you never even noticed or thought twice about it - hell, maybe you didn't even notice at all if you only picked it up later in the day, anyway.

It seems your concern is that from Pick Up to Delivered, it doesn't show status updates of where it was sorted, which facility, etc?

Nothing to worry about. What most likely happened is there was a sorting issue at the facility it originated from, possibility causing to be delayed an entire day not leaving the starting facility, once they figured it out, they just stuck it in a sack of other mail (possibly express or mail that's on a straight shot to your area) without scanning it (as it technically didn't 'belong' in that transit route with that particular set of mail). So instead of riding through this or that State, where it would be scanned and sorted and updated tracking, it just arrived straight away at your PO and continued from there.

Is this definetly what happened? Of course not, but it's one of numerous situations that could easily happen, and would explain the tracking updates (or lack thereof) that you're seeing.

If you have a new mailman every day, then it's very possible it WAS delivered to the wrong address by a noob mailman, but it's also possible it wasn't even attempted to be delivered yet, and will be today/tomorrow (take tracking with a grain of salt, USPS system is shitty, it's beyond plausible and possible that tracking says delivered yet it wasn't even attempted yet) It's hard to say what your situation actually is, but the lack of tracking may seem odd and the status says delivered when it really wasnt (to u at least) may seem odd, but both of those odd situations together doesn't make the situation any more sketchy. It's purely dumb luck
