Package doesn't arrive... consider address burned?

I know this is nothing new, but haven't come across a consensus in other threads when searched.

Ordered a UK domestic package of weed over three weeks ago and it never reached the destination. The vendor (600+ ratings at 4.9) offered 50% resend to different address or 25% refund, as per resolution policy, so can't complain there I guess. It was first dnm order so no experience of succesful deliveries to this address.

Just wondering what the general consensus is. Received no love letter, so not sure if it's safe to order again or not. (As a side note, curiously, another clearnet package which contained some money should have arrived at similar time but didn't make it through the letter box either). Does the fact that it didn't arrive put question marks on that vendor's stealth, or is this just what happens sometimes?

Would love to know the thoughts of more experienced dnm user's than myself.

AFAIK love letters are only a thing for international orders as they are send by customs. Does anybody else have access to your mailbox?

If UK post is anything like the US, shit just goes missing sometimes, and it probably varies depending on where you live. I live in a "not so great" part of my city and the local postal workers are fucking terrible. At one point I regularly had packages (legit, not DNM) with tracking saying they were "delivered" when they weren't. I'd call and it would turn out the package was just sitting at the post office because they sorted it onto the wrong truck or something, and then just gave up when the address didn't exist on that route. That's what they told me anyway, minus the "gave up" part, but that seemed pretty obvious to me from what I was told. I also regularly get other people's mail. None of this shit ever happened when I lived in a nicer part of town.

TL;DR: Human error definitely exists in mail delivery to various degrees. IMO a package not showing up is way more likely to be some asshole at the post office's mistake, not an OPSEC problem.

I've gotten packs up to 3 months after I ordered it because of shipping mishaps. Once it never came at all, but the drop still works. It's really up to you if you want to risk it.
