I remember when it was just inevitable that a market would go down. It was always like "how long will this one last" but now a days it seems like the big markets are staying around for a long time. I mean maybe some smaller ones have come and/or left, but for example Alphabay has long been the biggest one and is usually the one mentioned when the news references the markets. Is there something different now a days or what has changed?
To be fair, I don't frequent this sub as often as I used to, so correct me if I am wrong, but I would expect a market like Alphabay to go down eventually. I mean I figured Agora closed down because they had such a good run and they were pretty big, they may have been worried of eventually getting shutdown.
