Bitcoin Identity Verification?

I use the Bitcoin wallet Coinbase, and to get the perk of instant Bitcoin buys, I have to verify my identity with general information including the last 4 digits of my social security- would doing this and then sending Bitcoin to one of my dark net market accounts to use for purchases ever link back to me in case I got caught?

Coinbase has been cracking down on people that send from CB directly to DNM and shutting down their accounts

yes, and doing what you're talking about will get your coinbase account closed also.

It's somewhat irrelevant; you're presumably using your legit bank account to buy coins, which can obviously be traced to you in the unlikely event of an investigation.

Also, I could be wrong, but I don't think you need to provide your SSN to get to "Level 1" status, which allows $100 in instant buys per day. It's only for "Level 2" ($1000 per day) where you need to prove identity.

As for avoiding Coinbase's wrath, just stick a wallet you control in between your Coinbase account and your DNM account. Coinbase, to paper wallet (or MultiBit/Electrum wallet), to tumbler (optional step), to DNM.
