What's a vendors life like?

Honestly, ever since I watched Breaking Bad this has been a question of mine.

Is the income more than what you could make elsewhere? Does your family know if any? Would you choose a different career if it was an option? Is it your only job?

I understand if you don't want to reveal any information like this, so please just don't answer and not yell at me if you feel this way.

Hello, I would be more than happy to answer some of your questions. For security reasons call me "BudVendor".

Q. "Is the income more than what you could make elsewhere?"

A. Depends. In my situation, yes. It really matters what kind of person you are. You have to know your product and Market your business. Customer service is always #1. If you stick to those simple guidelines you will have repeat customers and more lined up. I currently make 4-5x more than a minimum wage job. But, it's takin a long time and a lot of experience to get where I'm at today.

Q. "Does your family know if any?"

A. I have a friend who knows and 1 sibling. All cool with it. Those are the only people who will ever know. You gotta stay low.

Q. "Would you choose a different career if it was an option?"

A. If it pays more :) But then again I love love love meeting new people and just chatting about w/e. Being a vendor is quite social. It does get stressful at times and I occasionally become paranoid. But all in all, it would be hard to give up. I love what I do! I believe the only way I will stop is when I get arrested.

Q. "Is it your only job?"

A. Yes. I get bored when business is slow & many times have thought about a minimum wage slave job. But I just can't handle being someone else's bitch for $8.25 an hour. lol

Any more questions? I've got time :)

Not a vendor, but I feel like I can answer these, been around here a while. Being a vendor is very similar to being a regular drug dealer, just a little harder. I doubt family is involved, usually isn't. Income is generally supplementary unless you're one of the most popular vendors in the game, i.e. Nod before he got taken down. Most vendors, because of that, have other jobs, be it actual careers or real life dealing or whatever. Hope that provides some insight.

I imagine it is a mostly thankless, highly lucrative, extremely risky lifestyle. I think most big one man operation vendors spend like 70+ hours a week working (packing, driving many miles to different drops/POs, obtaining packing supplies/stealth equipment, obtaining postage stamps, printing tracking labels. sourcing/stocking new product, replying to PMs across several markets... etc etc)

I don't think most people that sell drugs would if they could make that much money in a legal way.

Personally, it's easy work for us. Then again, we only sell on SR and Cloud9, and SR is currently untrusted, so volume sales are low. We hope they pick up, as we are sitting on a lot of product and have nothing to do with it.

Question: If you were talking to some people at a social area around your town or something and someone asked you, what you do for work. What would you say?

I got a reply from deepdotweb! So expect an article about me and my boss in the upcoming weeks. :)

Im a fairly big coke vendor on sr2, every day i get up, have a cup of coffee, sit down at my computer and jack it to childporn for about an hour, then i log onto sr2 and get my orders and spend a couple hours packaging them, then i go out and drop them, pick up groceries, then make dinner and spend an hour looking for more cp, watch a movie or do chores, then b4 i go to sleep i do a big line of coke and jack it for another hours to cp then i take a bunch of opium and go to sleep. I make about 10x as much as you do and have all the time in the world to jack it as much as i want why would anyone work a wage job
