Basically, the parcel was seized by customs and I got an empty envelope.
Towards the end of the year I noticed a change in stealth from this vendor. At first, I thought this was a good thing, clearly not. The parcel changed from a small, tight fitting package that looked believable and would easily pass. When the parcel shipping method changed, the packages went form a tight fitting package, to a large, basic envelope with space for the item to shake around. From these events, this vendor basically got lazy and changed his operation. The package simply looked suspicious. I had ordered from this vendor many times before with no issues, and had excellent, above average shipping speed to my region. The product was always consistent, and there was never an issue.
If you are looking at this vendor in the future and you are not domestic to Canada, DO NOT risk your safety through the laziness of this vendor. With the quickly falling price of BTC, and given how constant our business had been with each other, I thought I'd do them a favor and Finalize Early for them. Once notifying the vendor of what happened, there was no urgency for him to reply. Of course, since I FE'd, he had no obligation to help me at all. His terms and service granted me a 100% refund or reship for such an event since I had many previous transactions with the vendor. Wanting to pull out of this situation, I decided to opt for a refund. Going back on his own terms and service, the vendor only felt comfortable giving me "50%" refund for his blunder.
P.S. It wasn't 50%
Buyers beware.
TL;DR: Moral of the story? Never FE.
Cheers, A disappointed user.
