I wonder how they got him though.

The fact that the investigation was headed by USPIS tells me that an incoming package was the culprit (it usually is).

Anthony Marino, 45, was arrested at his Staten Island home.

A firefighter was arrested at his Staten Island home Friday night for allegedly trafficking fentanyl that he bought off the dark web, sources said.

Anthony Marino, 45, was busted after an investigation led by the United States Postal Inspection Service, according to law enforcement sources.

The Department of Homeland Security and the Drug Enforcement Agency also assisted in the arrest, the sources said.

The case will be prosecuted in Brooklyn federal court.

Marino, who has been with the Fire Department for almost four years, was on limited duty at the time of his arrest.

The firefighter worked out of Ladder 11 located on East Second Street in the East Village, WABC/Channel 7 reported.

The FDNY did not comment on Marino’s arrest early Saturday.
