If you've done "a lot of reading here and else where", &c., you should already know the answer to the question. But to play your silly gameā¦
It depends on the level of "safety" you want.
BASIC OPSEC
Pros: Cheap, simple, easy, mostly effective.
Cons: Leaves trail on personal computer, pretty easily traced across servers (especially with subpoenas), dealer has your real name & address.
MID-LEVEL OPSEC
Pros: Cheap, fairly simple, leaves much less trace or virtually no trace if done correctly.
Cons: More to set up, requires PC w/ Windows or Linux, slower.
TOP-LEVEL OPSEC
Pros: Pretty tight. Very little to tie anything directly to you.
Cons: Your weakest point becomes the mail drop.
PARANOID FUCKED OPSHIT
Pros: Uninhibited giving in to your paranoid delusions.
Cons: You're tweaking your face off.
Something like that.
