How many buyers are actually scamming the vendors?

Can't help but think this most times when I read a complaint from a buyer that's from a very well respected vendor or the like. "The vendor marked as shipped on this date but never actually got it" - probably seized by customs or something which really isn't the vendors fault in my opinion. Or something ridiculous like they only received half of the order - most vendors are not that stupid. Either that or the vendors just make many many mistakes which I find unlikely. Anyway interesting to hear what you guys think - is there really people out there stupid enough to scam vendors? I reckon it happens more than you would think.

If the order is seized by customs it is absolutely the vendors fault. They are the ones responsible for packaging the item(s) in a way they cannot be detected by customs. Thats the whole point of the "stealth" rating category.

I'm sure it happens but I doubt it's anywhere near as prevalent as vendors scamming buyers.

I don't think a buyer has ever tried to scam us. We only ship domestically though. We started on SR1, Sheep, SR2 and now Agora

Fuck all scammers. Vendors and buyers.

My vendor just sent my last order to the wrong part of the state, the famous ECC! He is reshipping, but damn, how do you get addresses completely wrong?!

That's why selling internationally sucks. Without tracking you have no proof.

[1 Points] CokeClassicVendor:

It is very common.. Luckily the number of customers who are a pleasure to deal with outnumber the bad ones. Vendors have to account for the cost of dishonest customers in their business model.

So far it has always been on small orders and only a few times... probably because we send the bigger orders tracked.

probably the most common scamming is accidental, stuff like thinking an order wont come and getting it reship (and then it shows up so you 2 times as much and just don't refund the vendor). i cant really think of other ways you could scam vendors which wouldnt take ages and require the site to say who scammed who

[1 Points] stickchewer:

Reasonably common, but riskier than a vendor scamming unless you have some magical drop points. If I got scammed as a vendor, you had better believe I would be tempted to make the scamming address as "hot" as possible.

Back in the day, most vendors would build up trust with a customer before making any risky ships (large weight/rarity e.t.c)

I actually imagine it's more common then vendors scamming buyers, you probably just hear of it less as the user disappears into the night and the vendor has to eat the cost whereas when a buyer is scammed the vendor is usually still around so the buyer becomes a squeaky wheel to try and recoup their money or at least get revenge (as vendor accounts are less disposable than buyer ones).

I have no idea though, just guessing.

I think it happens all the time. Guys claiming the delivery was a no show. Product not as advertised, so give me a refund etc. etc.

RosesGarden Once forgot to send me 8 gummies Bear in mind I ordered like $250 worth of stuff not a custom listing. I contacted Rosesgarden and I got 12 in the mail today.

i scam vendors all the time. free drugs is free drugs man. the trick is to have good drops don't use your real address unless you want someone kicking down your door in the middle of the night. one week i got 3 oz's, 20 lsd tabs, a shit ton of valium and xanax and some shrooms. partied like a motherfucker!

also make mad stacks reselling the shit sometimes as a vendor. feelsgoodman.jpg
