Ordering to a PO box

How safe is it to order things from the market places to a PO box? It would be items that come in an envelope so I wouldn't need to get a large box.

I dunno, you could get stabbed or get into a car accident on the way there. Should be clear once you get inside since weapons aren't allowed in government buildings.

It's been done before. Some vendors don't ship to PO boxes, so make sure to run it by your guy prior to ordering.

For some reason, I feel it adds another layer of security, contrary to popular belief. I have one, and I find it hard to believe that LE would stake out the place from the time a package arrives until the time I pick it up, which could range anywhere from mere hours to a few days. Plus, a controlled delivery in this fashion would be quite difficult—I’m not even sure how they would pull it off. This is mostly what I tell myself to rationalize having a p.o. box even though most advise against it. Additionally, I’ve only ever had one vendor cancel an order because I was ordering to a p.o. box (out of 70+ orders).
