Fake ID Photo Retention @ Mom 'N Pop Mailbox Stores

Can anyone who has rented a box at a Mom 'n Pop mailbox store using a fake ID surmise as to how long the store holds onto the zerox/scan of their fake ID?

More importantly - if a pack gets intercepted and the drop CD'd or investigated by LE, seems to me the first thing that LE would do is investigate the owner of the box. This would mean getting a copy of the ID on file, which would give LE a picture of the box owner.

This pic, depending on quality, could be run against DMV or LE databases, right?

To the mid-pubescent bartards who will comment on why using a Fake ID at a mailbox store is a bad idea - as opposed to having it sent to your parents' house in your real name - please save it. Thanks.

The only reason why the mom and pop shop is a bad idea is because they have full rights to your mail. If they feel something is suspicious they have every damn right to open that shit and report it. You sign away all your rights in their terms and agreements.

Nope. Poor idea.

The first thing they'll do is look into you, and then drop a GPS tracker in your fucking package. You will go to jail, and you will become a felon.

It's funny that you're talking shit about kids, when you're asking about a really, really stupid idea.

I don't even understand what you're getting at with that comment. Are you Pablo fucking Escobar? You're willing to risk a felony based off of the small, small chance that you're going to somehow figure out your pack has been intercepted before you get it?

What?

Don't be a fucking retard.. /r/darknetmarketnoobs is where you need to start at.

Keep a clean house, keep your OpSec tight, have a lawyer ready, and don't be an idiot. You're ordering drugs through the mail, you either make enough money to realize how terrible an idea this is, or you're so little you shouldn't be risking it anyways.

I'm not really sure how long they keep it for but I'd assume for as long as you keep the box.. or maybe a little after that. But I can ask my dude that work at a mom and pop to give you accurate info..

The photo alone wouldn't be too useful in identification

I kinda doubt it -- they'd need some fancy facial recognition software, and local LE isn't usually like it is on CSI: Whatever on TV.

No, you're the bartard for suggesting using a fake ID for a mailbox is a good idea. Whether it's a USPS post office or a small mom-n-pop place, the second they figure out that you used a fake, you're beyond fucked... And you lose ALL plausible deniability in that situation.

Here's an idea: have a cool friend with a place of his/her own, and send it there. Or grow a pair and wait for the mail while mommy and daddy are at work.

I'm not a lawyer and not sure of this but: Fake ID's are not illegal unless used for illegal purposes such as underage drinking/gambling. If you are over 21 and you enter a casino and use a fake ID for your players card, then that's legal because it's something you can do with your normal ID as well. I'm not sure how that applies to post though. In the U.S., the laws protect the usage of aliases.
