Only a week or so before they basically tripled in value I had several bitcoins on Dream. Who hit the jackpot?
Who was affected by the recent huge bitcoin inflation?

Keeping several bitcoins on a market is a great way to get burned. May the exit scam be with you.

Yeah, Only in a bad way due to coin in nuce, and a very painful and large exit scam......same god damn thing happened with abraxas,,,,,4.2 btc that time i think. Painful lessons to needed learned time and time ...... it is all part of "the game"....you know how it goes..... sigh.

Technically this is not inflation. If anything, the purchasing power of BTC has increased, not decreased (which is inflation). In our small ecosystem many product prices are pegged to the USD (or other local currency) and the exchange rate is translated on market. This results in a product costing fewer bitcoins. In an inflationary situation, you have price increases, not decreases. It's a little more complicated and looking at exchange rates doesn't always confirm inflation or deflation. Bitcoin has a set monetary policy - coins are released at known intervals at known amounts. It has a predefined rate of expansion. Strengthening of one currency against another can be indicative of many things. But one thing is certain - holders of btc experience an increase in purchasing power.

I was literally about to buy a few days before the price skyrocketed, then I kept telling myself I'll buy when the bubble popped so I could make a few hundred when the price stabilized again. Seems I missed out

I kept on mining whatever crypto was feasible to mine with GPU's and traded them for whatever crypto looked good at the time. LTC profits blew BTC out of the water when it bubbled from $2 to ~$48 in under 10 days.
I had enough in alpha bay to go from dust that I couldn't transfer to finally getting myself the Brazzers account I've always wanted!
