I worked in a mail processing plant as a postal support employee for a while. What do you need to know?

I've had close family that worked there for about three years. Driver though. During training (~2010) drugs were talked about a lot but after that it never really came up. Honestly I doubt that has changed much.

I know people and family that work there. There isn't some.big fancy machine going through your mail if that's what you're wondering.

I dunno about customs

Getting a job working for the USPS is really easy. Go to usps.com and fill out the employment form. I passed their criminal, driving history, and drug testing and then was offered a delivery job 2.5 hours away from where I live.

I also know a USPS delivery man. He says 99.9% of the people that handle packages could care less about what is in them as if they report anything it just creates a bunch of paperwork and headaches.

TLDR: 99.9% of USPS workers are there to deliver/sort/transport packages and collect a paycheck and dont give a shit about what is inside of said packages.
