Past browsing OPSEC

Howdy everyone

I just have a question about OPSEC when it comes to past browsing.

I have been browsing this subreddit as well as /r/darknetmarketnoobs for about two months now. I have been doing this using my phone and regular desktop PC. I have not been posting or replying, just casual lurking. I am coming to you now through tails and TOR

Say I were to be interested in ordering something from the DNM. Would any of my past browsing be a problem? If it is should I wipe everything and clean house before purchase? Would deleting history/yada yada be enough or would a total wipe be necessary?

Thanks in advance

If you want you can just rip out your hard drive and just use Tails. Or there is an awesome program called CCLeaner. It'll wipe everything off your Hard drive. You could also DBAN. Then Just use Tails as your OS :)

Browsing the subreddit alone isn't going to cause you any grief, but personally I do think that if there was a case on you, your browsing habits could be cited and it would be somewhat incriminating. I try to avoid doing anything that could be dredged up and look incriminating in a worst case scenario, but that could just be the overcautious/paranoid part of me.

I'm not a lawyer but it seems like that could (and obv in that case would) be used against you in court and it gives you less plausible deniability with regards to an intercepted package. It's not illegal to google chloroform either but that was used against casey anthony in her murder trial after her daughter disappeared.

I think almost everyone on this sub first started browsing it without using Tor.
