(A lawyer and a LEO) If you needed a good reminder why you should never open your mouth to the law even if you believe its helpful!

I was just replying on another thread when i remembered this video i had seen awhile back on liveleak and was blown away i have watched it a few times. A lawyer and an veteran officer who haven't met give a talk to a bunch of law students the topic was having to do with criminal justice ( i think thats the actual class) and the beauty of protection we are afforded under the bill of rights/Constitution and what happens when those rights are used when in contact of a police officer. The best part is after the lawyer has given his crazy speech the office walks up and is blown away about how right everything he said was basically has nothing to add he shut him down like B.RABBIT!

lol for real though its worth watching every minute ( he shows how someone helping a case with a statement was then the convicted after there was no one else to put the blame)

Please watch and share this.. You cannot help yourself when in contact with law enforcement they arent law friends.. they are there to do a job not makes friends

I bet he failed to mention the part where if you don't cooperate police will make their mission to make you miserable. Leaving you in a cold waiting room with no blankets, not feeding you, playing the good cop bad cop bullshit with you. Pretending to be your friend and be on your side. They are the masters of deception.

I recall seeing some comments in the past that suggested this guy's logic was a little shaky at times and I believe they're right. The message is still good though, don't talk to the cops.

One word. Lawyer. That's all you say.

What's this substance? Lawyer

Where'd you get this? Lawyer

I'm going to bash your skull in! Lawyer

Giving a speech on not talking to the police... "I'm from Buffalo NY"

Suddenly it's clear

Is there any similar advice videos for UK citizens?

Thanks for the video; It should be made sticky somewhere in this sub!

it would be impossible to recall everything this guy's says when the actual moment arrives where a police man starts banging on your door and assulting you with questions.

what protocol do you follow? Surely you wouldn't litterally be able to be a mute.

just proclaim? "I'm innocent!" "I want to speak to a lawyer" over and over? and that's it?
