Most exchanges or btc entry points like Coinbase won't let you use Tor. However you can get your btc then send it to an anonymous web wallet. You can then:
Send to BlockChain wallet over Tor and use BlockChain's SharedCoin with 10 Repetitions to disguise your coin when you send it to a DNM. * SharedCoin will not sever you from your coin, it will just make it much harder for the average person to track it back to you. Personally this is what I've done ever since they used "SharedSend". If you are just buying small and not selling...this is a fairly safe option. You will definitely hear mixed opinions about using SharedCoin and DNMs.
Bitcoin Fog is one of the most used tumbling services that will sever your identity from the btc.
BitBlender is another service that is recommended that does the same as Bitcoin Fog. However, I don't know much about this service so can't elaborate.
Or you can use Mycelium for Android or LocalBitcoins.com and pay cash for your coin for approximately 10‰ more than the current Bitcoin price. And be anonymous from the beginning.
