Habit kick update

Hey everybody! I don't know why but I was sitting around today and kind of felt obligated to make an update to a post I did a litter over a week ago ( https://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/3a89v2/trying_to_kick_the_habit_need_a_little_help/ )

You all were so very helpful and insightful, and I truly felt the empathy everyone was projecting in those posts, so I thought an update is the least I could do. Immediately, I bought a bunch of kratom, and started my kick routine with that about 7 days ago to the day. It worked for a day or two then i relapsed and a SUPER close call with the law. (I was almost caught with four bundles [40 bags] by the cops in the city where I go to pick up. I am a long way from my home there so they knew right away what I was up to. I had the drugs in a baggie tucked deep in my gooch (remember, I am a fat man so this literally saved my life). I was patted down and frisked, and they ran my name, came up clean and I was let go. They straight up told me, in detail exactly what I did (parked; ran into the building to get drugs; get in my car to jump back on the highway home), but I lied and they couldn't find the drugs so I got super fucking lucky.

I drove right home and vowed this would be my last hoorah no matter what it took. By the graces of the opiate gods, the next day, my buddy has a random friend who just hits him up to let him know he has subutex for sale. Long story short, I get a few of them (one sub literally works for 6-8 doses for me, so 4 subs is a months worth). Ive been clean since then (7 days and counting) and I have the subs as a crutch for the first two weeks until I can wane off of them.

Oh, I almost forgot to add, I did try out and place an order with vendor pschtropix on AG for some subs two nights ago. We'll see how that goes. Thank you all again, so much for being the wonderful and tight-knit community you are. I couldn't be happier to be a part of it.

I love you all and Stay Safe out there:) PastaParty

Seriously quit for anybody that cares about you, but most of all quit for yourself. Opiates are evil.

I've been off heroin for 58 days. I'm down to 1mg of suboxone a day. I mostly snorted too, but was banging it here and there. I completely understand your plight homie. It was the love of my life. I lost so much I'm embarrassed. I'm just grateful for what I have left. I'm here if you need someone to chat. I've got leftover subs if you're desperate.

Good job dude, keep at it!

So happy to hear this! Keep at it, others have done it and you can too.

Good on you, I love this sub and this community, but it sometimes pains me to know that people are going through terrible addiction, which the darknet is helping to sustain for them. But I stongly believe that as a consenting adult, you have the right ingest whaatever you wish, and form any habit you wish.

Anyway, I don't know if I'll get flamed for saying this, and I'll be honest I don't know anything about opiates or opiate addiction. But I feel like the traditional method of rehab is deeply flawed, you're trading one addiction for another, and that the rate of relapse is rather high.

I've read a lot about iboga/ibogaine and I feel that if you do relapse (or if anyone reading this is trying to kick an addiction, including alcoholism) you should consider it. It's bullshit that ibogaine is schedule 1 so there can't be much research done on it, but it has been shown time and time again to cure addiction. Iirc it inhibits ndma receptors which in turn reduces cravings, and the fact that it is a powerful, long lasting psychedelic experience similar to ayahuasca also makes peoplle despise the drug they formerly loved.

Nice work! It's close calls like this that made me move to the markets. And seems you've experienced what I did with subs, an effective dose can be really small. Don't know what form of subs you ordered, but I like the strips because they are so easy to cut into smaller pieces. One sort of random tip. If you are taking a really small (<1mg) dose. Take a drink of water before dosing so under your tounge is wet. I've dosed with a dry mouth and the tiny piece of film stays on my finger tip and dissolves some there.

I have a huge tolerance for smack, when I had it I did inhuman amounts, and somehow I used to take 1 mg of suboxone a day. I broke an 8mg into eight pieces. Suboxone has a floor and a ceiling and as long as you stay above the floor you won't get withdrawals. If you go above the ceiling it won't do anything extra for you. So many people waste good stuff taking more than necessary. I went to a doc at the beginning and when I realized how little it took I stockpiled. Sub doctors are expensive, they are as bad as dealers, and I didn't want to have to keep going. I also got a couple boxes of the 2 mg so I could taper to even smaller amounts. Then after I had about 180 8mg and 90 2 mg strips I quit going to the doc and took care of it on my own. Once I got to .25 mg every other day I went to every 3rd day and then just stopped. Withdrawal wasn't bad after that. I just felt lazy for about a month.

Congrats man. I have a friend trying to get the h monkey off his back. He refuses to spend the money on Subutex or Suboxone as they are a "rip off"... when he doesnt understand that as you said 4 subs will last you a month. He refuses to see a doctor as he doesnt want it on his medical records. He makes it about 2 days then relapses. He wont take any of my advice.

I've offered him gabapentin, hydroxyzine, and benzos and told him to sweat it out for a week but he just wont listen.

Any advice?

Thanks for the update. You've got a great attitude and, while never easy, I bet staying clean will be easier every day.

[1 Points] rogueXleader:

Hey man, happy to hear you're so determined about kicking something that's become a problem for you. Addiction runs in my family, so I know how much will-power it takes to make that decision and stick with it. There will be set-backs. That's common. But don't give up. Despite this being a sub largely about drug use, I will never do anything but support another user kicking any substance they feel the need to get off of. Stick with it. You have the support of a lot of really good people here. If you ever get to feeling like you're having trouble with things, feel free to contact me. I'd be happy to talk to you or do whatever I could to help. Take care friend

[1 Points] sillysally11:

So, do you really want to get clean? Or are you getting clean because you think it's what you need to do?

IMO the deciding factor is whether or not you actually want to stop, otherwise you'll just relapse. I see people try to quit opiates all the time, but they don't do it because they actually want off the drugs, they just do it because it's making their life shitty. If you really want off, then you'll have an easy time staying away from dope, good luck.

[1 Points] Duderino420:

Its always one last hoorah....one last oxy......one last bag of dope...good luck man. Its a hard hole to climb out of.

[1 Points] rappercake:

You ween off a drug, wane is what the moon does about half of the time.

[1 Points] ADopelessHopefiend:

My advice although many will disagree is to find a suboxone doctor covered by your insurance(out of pocket costs are ridiculous). Been on 4mg a day since march and haven't touched an opiate since.. I'm still using other substances but one step at a time and the person I am on dope is so detached from my normal sense that it's hard to accept that that's the person it turns me into

[1 Points] emaildisposable:

Hey Man,

I don't know if this helps, but I was pretty much in the same situation as you a couple months back. I ended up getting a bupe 7 day patch, which managed everything while I was on holidays and when I got back I just jumped off that, which was pretty easy too. Patch was easy to travel with, but all subs would be I guess.
