[OPSEC/Computer] Think I fucked up in KeePass

I opened KeePass to input my Electrum Wallet PW. When I go into my entry marked "Electrum", it shows the date that the password was created, about a month ago, and the modification date. The modification date is today at about an hour ago. I think I might have hit the 'Generate new password' button in KeePass because my PW is not working to open my wallet.

Is there anything I can do? I really don't want to lose my BTC :(

Do you still have your seed words saved somewhere?

If so, do the following:

Start Electrum.

Do File > New / Restore.

Enter new wallet name (maybe "test").

Hit Save or OK (depends on version)

Select "Restore a wallet or import keys".

Hit Next.

Enter your seed words.

Hit Next.

Enter a password to protect your keys.

Hit OK.

See if your wallet is recovered with the correct balance.

Did you check the Backup group in Keepass? At least on Tails it saves the old version of an entry in there every time you change or delete something. It's your best friend especially if you do this stuff drunk or benzoed from time to time

I've always worried about doing that on accident. Luckily Keepass doesn't auto-save. I never save unless I actually make an intentional change. If I'm prompted to save, I never save for precisely this reason. Also, good to keep a backup Keepass file. I think you got good advice on how to recreate your wallet.
