Stop being kind with feedback. It's ruining the marketplaces.

Everyone needs to start being more judgmental. I've bought several products that have constant 5/5 ratings and it's just not that good. Are you guys just being kind? We need to sort this out so the ratings actually mean something.

I think it goes back to the SR days when vendors would get irate about anything less than a 5 rating. People would say you should have exhausted all the customer service the vendor would have to offer before even rating a 4. You also don't want to piss off someone that has your address while you're doing illegal things.

But that attitude seems to have gone away yet maybe people are just conditioned subconsciously to rate 5 unless the service (no mention of the product) was horrendous. I agree with you and people need to take more advantage of this friendlier climate and make ratings useful again.

[18 Points] None:

100% - seems people leave only 5/5 or 0/5, nothing inbetween. I give out 2/5, 3/5, and 4/5 regularly - if someone wants a 5/5 they need to provide a great product and a good price with good stealth.

[16 Points] VeronicaMonica:

I'm going to be honest, I am one of those people who give out 5/5 all the time. Actually, 5/5 are the only ratings I've given out so far. Two reasons why:

1) Sure it wasn't the BEST product, the BEST price or the BEST stealth, but I was happy. All of the vendors replied to my messages in a timely manner and I got what was advetised. So far I had no problems with any of my orders or the quality of the product.

but another big reason for me is

2) I don't know who I am dealing with and they have my address. If I was going to leave a bad review, I would probably post here or in other forums where my username is completely different than what the vendor knows. Besides, review on the forums are more comprehensive and detailed, which gives you a better idea of the vendor than a 5/5 rating with a review with few sentences, if that.

Also, if you leave a bad review there's also the risk of the vendor leaving a bad review of you, which may deter other vendors from doing business with you. Imo, if you're going to leave a bad review, do it on the forum BUT don't write a bad review on the first sign of problems. Always try to communicate with vendor and try to work something out before hurting their reputation.

To me, I see the 5/5 rating as any warning to any major red flags. People do give out 5/5 frenquently, so anything less than 5/5 would signify some major problem or warning about the vendor, at least to me anyway.

The 5/5 internal rating system on most sites are superficial at best and only provide information on major problems of the product and/or vendor, and I think it does a pretty good job at that.

Of course, you will have to elsewhere for a deeper inquiry of the product and vendor. After all, the rating system on most websites are not designed to be comprehensive.

[7 Points] earthmoonsun:

The problem is that the vendor has the buyer's real life address and can threaten, blackmail, reveal it when he wants to.

[6 Points] None:

I have to go over this every few months. 5/5 does not mean 5/5 product quality is stellar. It means all aspects of the transaction were successful. It means you only had to pay what you promised. It means the vendor gave you the correct substance . It means the vendor gave you the amount of substance agreed upon. It means the package arrived within the number of days specified. If all components of the agreement are upheld, then a 5/5 should be awarded.

Now, for the endless comparison of vendor's product price points and quality, we have the written text of the review and forum discussions. That's the primary purpose of these forums. You do your research on the 20 vendors all selling product X for the same price and decide who has the better product based on reading the text of reviews and trip reports.

You are never going to be able to encapsulate whether all aspects of the transaction went well AND fit in the nuance of price vs quality all in 1 dimensional 1 through 5 rating system. It was never intended to be so.

This is why many markets now just have positive, neutral, or negative (or something along those lines). Market ratings are for telling whether the transaction was successful, not try to jam what should be paragraphs of written text into a 1 through 5 rating system.

In fact, it's actually the people who go "meh, this MDMA was pretty good, but not the BEST I've ever had .... hmmmm ... 4/5" that are completely fucking the system, not the other way around.

[3 Points] None:

LIKE HUMBOLDT FARMS

Be fucking honest. 90% of vendors are not going to dox you for a bad rating like greenmachiner. The 10% of that claim they will, we need that information out anyway. 9 out of 10 of those guys are giving empty threats anyway

[2 Points] RapperOnDrugs:

Seriously, stop giving out 5/5's like candy.

[2 Points] not-your-mom:

Most vendors get pissed if it's not a perfect 5/5 rating.

If the product is described as mediocre and that's what I get, 5/5.

If it says "BEST WEED ON DARKNET" and I get some low grade shit its obviously not going to get that good of a rating.

That's my rule of thumb atleast.

Edit: That's some ebay shit going down on vendors ratings, I highly dislike that.

[1 Points] None:

Amen brother. I will always mark down where appropriate. I use AB though, it seems that there is no way to see an individual score regardless. The few times ive marked down for stealth or quality and it doesnt dent there perfect 5/5/5 ratings.

[1 Points] Sw1zl:

No its definetly that people dont want to give a bad rating to a vendor and then get scammed.

[1 Points] None:

I just wanna give vendor reviews honestly. I is gettin' f&*(# somehow...I swears it...

[1 Points] oPSYCHICoCHASMSo:

honestly because my DOC(BTH heroin) tends to have few dealers that offer escrow I don't like leaving less than 5 for simple fear of them fucking with my orders in the future, like skimping or delaying shipping to expedite other orders. So I just leave 5/5 but am honest in the comments about what I liked and didn't like

[1 Points] wizardswrath00:

I would only leave a 5/5 if whatever my purchase was utterly blew my mind and exceeded all expectations. If it was incredibly mediocre stuff, I would contact the vendor first to settle any potential dispute that could arise. After any dispute is resolved would I leave a review under 5 stars. I don't want to be a dick about it unless the vendor is a dick, in which case fuck you and your reputation, go kill yourself in a hole.

[1 Points] AManWithoutQualities:

Vendors will not like selling to you again if you leave less than 5/5.

[1 Points] None:

Product took a months to turn up, 100% table salt, £95/g, no communication.

5/5 offered reshipping maybe

[1 Points] retroracer:

This has been my main issue with markets since SR1. People seem to feel like they HAVE to give 5 if they get their shit. Wether it's bunk, comes 5 weeks late or whatever, if it's received, the vendor will typically get a 5. I feel like some of this can be blamed on some vendors giving the impression that if you give them anything but a 5 they won't fuck with you anymore. If these guys want to set their shit up like a real business, I say we treat them as such. There are plenty of vendors with quality shit nowadays that people should feel comfortable giving honest reviews.

[1 Points] HelpfulDNMuser:

Lets change the way we do this then! Bugger leaving 5/5 if it didn't correctly deserve that rating.

[1 Points] JburnaDNM:

Exactly. Ask SacDirtyCrew I aint no scared bitch cause I lit his ass up because of their shit stealth. I also leave a 1-10 in my review on potency and stealth. Plus if you short me its going in the review as well.

And another new vendor is about to get hell and have his brand new rep ruined if he got my address burned because I swear to god in 3 or 4 years and all the orders I placed if he ruined my drop its being put on blast. He has 3 days before the world knows.

[1 Points] 44fourfour:

yeah i got speedy coke (meaning cut with ephedrine [also leva]) from figgity and it had great reviews not one mention of speedy. havent made my review yet cause i just dont give a fuck so ya here it is for now. but i will make negative feedback if i ever get around to it

[1 Points] rbryanm:

deleted...never intended comments displayed in public searches like google, etc

[1 Points] VNDRRVWTHRWAWY2:

I usually rate honestly. I will give a 2 or 3 out of five if I think what I bought wasn't really what it should be.

The issue comes when the vendor says "hey, i'll give you 30% of your order back if you change that feedback to positive and delete the comments"

Multiple times this happens and i'm like..." welp, I want my money back for the shitty product."

[1 Points] idontdodrugstheydome:

As long as the vendor put some effort into concealing it and managed not to get the authorities involved i couldnt be a happier customer

[1 Points] MilkNHuney:

The comments are more important than the rating number, IMO. There is where you can find more useful info. Comments can tell you about quality, how fast vendor ships and when to expect your order, stealth type, vendor communications, etc.

Comments are also constructive criticism for the vendor.

Of course, that all depends on if people are leaving comments other than "fire! Best vendor ever!"

The Rating number between 0/5 and 5/5 just says how picky the buyer is. And when you see the comment left next to those ratings, it pretty much confirms that idea of how picky that buyer is. You'll see, "4/5 - vendor took 36 hours to answer my msg."

Yeah, no one likes to wait that long for a question to be answered but the reader of that comment doesn't know what kind of question it was or if it was answered in the vendor's profile already. Or if they were asking for something out of the ordinary. So we're left with the impression that they buyer might be a picky pain in the ass who has the wrong idea about DNM and thinks this is Amazon.

The other problem is that sometimes there's no enough characters available to leave a detailed comment. So we have to figure out the best way to say something or decide if some things aren't worth mentioning over others.

All said, I think Reddit is the best place to give reviews about vendors. We can search for vendors and get detailed experiences. Best place to get warnings that might not show up on the markets because some markets don't allow you to leave feedback if you had a dispute resolved by the staff (like AlphaBay). The problem is, vendor fans, shills and the Reddit Team of Skeptics try to discredit a buyer who posts about their negative experiences. Many times those posts turn out to be early warning indicators of what to expect from a vendor before it begins to show up in feedback on the DNM. Anyone who's been on here long enough knows this already. It's the new buyers who might not and get confused by the arguments of the vendor fans, shills and the Reddit Team of Skeptics.

That's why it's said, "don't go on the DNM with money you can't afford to lose."

[1 Points] dnmfrowafray:

hearing everyone talk about 5/5 and argue if the 5 is for "quality" or "as advertised", perhaps a new rating method is needed?
Product as Advertised [ yes] [ no ] this bases it on fact, more than opinion.

plus, if a vendor always sells top grade, and all the reviews comment on high quality, and then the vendor decides to sell low grade, then what, are people going to bitch because of comparing reviews?

[1 Points] Jaymacmac:

The only thing ruining the markets are the scamming cnuts.

[1 Points] Sandrabland424:

If I get drugs in the mail, it's a 5/5

[1 Points] None:

I generally give 5 ratings. I generally get good service, good stealth (but i dont wear tinfoil hats like some), and generally get drugs as advertised. I also dont order a whole lot, and on occasion order drugs i dont know much about, and shit....

I will not give someone who lies and lies and lies about delayed shipping a 5, someone who sends me some of the shit i see Humboldt send out, etc . and my god if you put stamps on a slab like we used to joke about slablabs doing when he was uhmmmm... Entrance scamming... Lol...

But ive mostly had good vendors.

This recent tguk thing has me conflicted. Ive decided not to leave a review on market for my first domestic order from him. Just got my 1/16 pack yesterday. Thats like a 1/5 on shipping.... Lol. I will leave an honest review on reddit though. I hope the shipping is something he gets fixed, i can only imagine he has skme trustworthy but inexperienced person buried under a fucking mountain of envelopes to be honest..... When i ordered his shit from uk it usually came fast as hell, except for in december... Cant blame him for that....

He did tell me he'd give me extra tabs on my next order for the delay though, at least

[1 Points] Chardlz:

It's a classic problem in polling and rating. Just look at vendor ratings by number of stars: You have lots of 5/5 and lots of 1/5 but very few 2/5, 3/5, and 4/5 because the only people inclined to complain are those who feel particularly shorted and want to rate 1/5. Everybody else will just give a 5/5 because it's easier and more polite that way. I liked the Middle Earth system (may the hobbits rest in peace with all my bitcoin) where you had individual ratings for delivery, quantity, quality, and price value I think. It also allowed you to give points out of 10. You'd see lots of vendors with somewhere in the 9-10 range because of their prices or their quality that the person who got bunk product in 2 days in the right quality for cheap could give a rating of like 7.5 which is what that would technically deserve on a 10 point scale with 4 categories of rating. Also keep in mind that people on the dark net are probably used to much worse drugs in their area. Around me the average tabs of LSD are like 50 ug, absolute shit so even underdosed BlueViking tabs are a godsend especially for the price. Because of this you end up with a very skewed rating system from people who are new to the Dark Nets, people who are lazy with their reviews, and people who just don't know quality when they see it.

My closing thoughts, people should write more in their reviews. I may give a 5/5 but in the reviews I'll talk about any minor issues or make note of anything I think wasn't 100% but didn't warrant a drop to a 4/5 in the rating, in my eyes.

[1 Points] None:

I've lost probably 3 top notch vendors because my wording of a review was slightly neutral, despite overall positive feedback. As pro as these slick sites makes them look, a lot of vendors are still cracked out as hell, and will FLIP OUT if you even slightly indicate they may have messed up. A lot of people are probably afraid of losing their connection. I, too, see way way way too many positive reviews where the actual text is like..."No comms. Decent product. Came late."

I just assume they're the only semitrustworthy vendor they've found so far and don't want to get blacklisted.

[1 Points] AgoraRefuge:

Its a strange mindset. I've had orders take 3 weeks with no communication or refund after I let the vendor know after a week of him not shipping, and that I wasn't interested in the offering anymore and I STILL felt bad leaving a 3. Mindset totally needs to change; being consumer friendly is what made DMNs so great.

[1 Points] SuhrCustom11:

My favorite are the reviews that say it took a week to ship or the product was bunk or whatever with 5 stars.

[1 Points] gizzletinks:

3/5 product never arrived but he said sorry so...

[1 Points] cakecounter:

FUCKING WORD

[1 Points] AdventureTimeSupply:

The problem is feedback isn't anonymous enough. Ideally a market would obfuscate feedback by delaying their posting 2-4 weeks and not showing the vendor who left it.

This goes both ways as vendors should be able to leave feedback that only other vendors can see.

[1 Points] None:

I give an honest opinion of the product, stealth and vendor each time. But if I have a problem, I contact the vendor before the review to give them a chance to fix or explain. If they fix it, 5, if not 1. If anything, a 5 point rating is shit, it should boil down to "will I use this vendor again or not" and then a separate review for the product

[0 Points] None:

I don't want people to start throwing words around like hero or prophet however at the risk of that I will state I have the answer you all seek.

You will never change the ingrained habit of people giving 5 all the time, I do it, never given below a 5 before & it is something that is just not going to change as the first to try would be very brave and it would cause huge amounts of turmoil.

However double the points to 10 and from the outset through a clever 2 pronged strategy of programming software and fixed rules within the system people can only give 5 points above 5 once in 10 orders so they absolutely must use them carefully.

They could give and extra 5 points on one order or 5 points across 5 orders. they will not get these discretionary points again until the 10th order.

It means anything above 5, the vendor has to be at the top of his game in whatever area it is for.

Each one of those 5 points can only be awarded to one section so one point per ten orders goes to stealth, one to purity, one to communication.

Perhaps there can be a bonus point where a vendor excelled during a dispute and resolved it by going above and beyond.

something like this would give a real indication of how hard the vendor works and where his talents lie.

Now I have given the broad framework for a new system, please discuss the details amongst yourselves like professionals and not in the manner of homeless hippies fighting over the last piece of tofu.
