So I've been doing my own thing for a while now and feel comfortable scaling my setup to legal proportions. My only worry is that after what may be a $30k-50k investment I will have cured bud with no legal market to sell to. In order for me to continue my life long dream of being a farmer -- and proving to my wife I can provide for a family with this lifestyle, I need to be able to sell it at a minimum of $50/oz. I would love it if a big time vendor would be willing to come in and say "yeah, I can probably help you out. one time buy, $50/oz for 500 ounces." Instead, I ask, do ya'll think I'll have trouble selling ~100ozs at $50 each without any LE looking over me? Will I actually gain anything by going legit in CO as opposed to just catering to this market until it becomes legal nationwide?
Peace and love homies.
These days, you almost need $1M for start-up licensing fees, building, permitting -- all sorts of shit. State will rape you in fees.
Current {blackmarket} prices are $80-$85 for a 1/2. $150 or so for a oz. But this is top quality shit. Not some mid grade eastern outdoor shit. Primo buds, yo.
Can't really be a vendor. State requires stores to produce 70% of their own product. There is a huge broker, can't remember their names, but they've cornered the market.
Black market still alive and well. Taxes are too high. You can sell $50 oz's all day long as long as it's good. LE don't give a shit any more. Just don't transport fucking 5lbs at a time or anything. Keep it more mellow at like a qp or hp and you'll be fine. Cops can't use pot as probable cause any more. So even if they smell it, there's not much they can do provided you're not super ripped while driving or anything.
