All hail the real Satoshi, some random Aussie none of us have heard of. Game on gents.

The article takes a hell of a long time to mention that the smoking gun evidence they uncovered (primarily the blog posts dated pre-bitcoin) were actually edited in 2013 to include the so-called 'smoking gun' evidence for the first time.
Shoulda put that little tidbit in the first paragraph, imo.

All of his OPSEC "flaws" were/are 100% purposeful. Every last one.

So can we expect a major BTC inflation when the trust releases them in 2020?

Can confirm, I am Santoshi

Yes, yes, he chose Australia because he wanted "greater freedom." I see a very smart, yet confused man...maybe he sees more than I see...

I still think Satoshi is the old Japanese dude in California.... Dorian Nakamoto

I think the late Hank Finney was the real Satoshi.
http://www.wired.com/2014/08/hal-finney/
in fact I feel quite sure about it.
He admits to receiving the first bitcoin. But if you test the first bitcoin transaction you will want both wallets to be on computers next to each other, obviously.
"Hello Hank, it's Satoshi. There was a double-spend issue with the bitcoin payment test we did today. I'm going to need to borrow your PC for 3 months to run diagnostics because for some reason I didn't do the application testing in my test lab."
Hal helped to develop PGP before designing the security protocols of bitcoin.
He suffered from a rare disease which left his body useless, but didn't effect his brain. He was cryogenically frozen last year, which explains why he hasn't spoken in a year. If he was alive, HE would have decided if the blockchain maximum block size should be increased.
Bitcoin is truly decentralized now. but when he was alive, bitcoin was centralized around Satoshi and there were no arguments. The bitcoin community wouldn't pay to preserve the brilliant mind of Satoshi's best mate now, would we?

He seems like a really interesting dude. Wouldn't be surprised if it actually was this guy.

I still like the theories that a committee or organization with the ability to do significant internal peer review created it; since it seems a too complex system for someone to pull off independently without peer review. And the only such organizations with both the ability for peer review and secrecy are various countries' intel agencies.

Fuck these guys for outing a guy who's asked a million times that his privacy is respected.
Shame on you /u/gwern ! Fuck Wired and fuck MotherboardVice, whatever the hell they are called, for always doxxing people.
It's unnecessary and you're just doing it for your own gain (getting your shitty site read)
