The whole path:
- Started with ~100USD
- Bought cryptocurrency with very low miner fees on trading exchange (Not Monero and obviously not bitcoin)
- Withdrawed it onto my local windows wallet
- Exchanged it on monero using one of the big crypto-exchanging services
- Got monero on my local windows wallet
- Send it into the tails monero wallet - It is were complete anonymization happens
- Using another exchanger service, convert Monero to BTC and send it directly to my DNM wallet address
When I made an actual order I end up with like 10-15$ more than I had started with due to growth of crypto I bought at first and BTC. But if they had stayed static in price, then fees for the whole process would have been around 10-12USD (all fees included from getting fiat into exchange to recieving coins on the market), i.e 10-12% of the whole sum.
If I was anonymizing larger sum, fees would be much lower, since most of the fees here was mining fees that don't depend on the sum of transaction.
I don't know how much bitcoin mixing costs, since I have never did it and that is the first time I am bying of DNM. But I suppose it 3-5%. I think for bigger sums, like 1000USD, method I have used would cost even less in fees. While giving anonymization level much superior, than any number of bitcoin tumbling trials will give.
crazy story.
i have another one for you. i did not move my coins the past days, and after that i had more $ in my wallet then before!
best trick ever.
