Can someone recommend any articles, video, etc. explaining the differences between the various phenethalymines and tryptamines?

I've read a fair amount of the entries and qualitative comments on TiKHAL and PhiKAL...and I'm planning on purchasing those works ASAP, but until then, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any good qualitative breakdowns of the differences between the NBOMe's, the 2C's, etc.

I judge my personal understanding of a topic by how well I can explain it to others, and so far I haven't done a great job of explaining phenethalymines and trytpamines, and the respective differneces of each chemical sysnthesis, to my friends.

Edit: Fair enough...please excuse my accidental misspellings, it had been a late night at the time of this posting. I'll check out your suggestions.

First you need to learn to spell Phenethylamine and Tryptamine, then you do a web search, it's all out there, but you won't find it if you type it wrong. BL and DF have extensive synthesis forums, but you have to be a gold member to access.

The old Hive and Rhodium boards are also mirrored out there somewhere.

There's so much info out there, each chemical is its own thing and should be treated as such. Now even though that's not 100% true and similar analogues have similar psychoactive properties, you have to remember that these are Research Chemicals.

One thing you would know if you owned PiHKAL and TiHKAL (ie, read the biography portions) is that even properly dosed by shulgin himself these chemicals can cause an acute response. Usually you see this more in the sulfur compounds (2C-T-x, Aleph-x). With these drugs it is not necessarily physically dangerous, but I don't want to get so fucked up that I cocoon for 36 hours on a regular dose of DOC like a friend of mine has done.

Be careful, and have fun (usually the first leads to more of the second). IMO it's good to have some xanax around if you're experimenting with RCs.
