Question about DNM shipping/packaging

So I've never personally ordered anything from the DNM, but I have been lurking here for a while and I also check out what's for sale on several markets just out of curiosity about how this stuff works 1) because in reality it's pretty intriguing stuff and 2) maybe one day I'll try it. But since I've never ordered anything, I can only speculate what some of the process is like. For example, I have no clue what the shipping process is like.

I've been binging on these shows that follow Customs agents from the US, Canada, and Australia. They have them on Netflix and all over YouTube. Do a search for "border security" and you'll find a bunch of episodes.

Click this video: https://youtu.be/hQ2Cgne0aII and skip to 13:30 and you'll find a US Customs agent opening & seizing 3 packages coming into the country.

Is this what stuff looks like when people order it from the DNMs? Are they put into board games and shit like that sometimes? Do you think those 3 packages were packages someone ordered from a DNM? I'm just genuinely curious about what someone who has actually ordered a package from a DNM thinks about that video...

Just about every other episode of Border Security has seizures that look almost identical to this one and I always wonder if it's stuff coming from a DNM. If you watch even just 2-3 more episodes you'll find very similar seizures.

Just a warning - we do not discuss stealth specifics on this sub. I'll keep the thread going, but nobody should be discussing specifics of stealth.

Not getting into specifics, what you saw is what is called a decoy. A decoy is any item that hides the contraband and hopefully satisifies any curious eyes. The fact is, decoys aren't really for LE. If LE has a warrant to open your pack, they'll find it. Plain and simple. Decoys are useful if your pack busts open or if someone other than you opens the pack. Not all packs are sent with a decoy. Really it depends on what is being sent.

depends on what type of product you order, the quantity, and the vendors stealth techniques.

with large quanitities of product you're going to see higher quality stealth efforts with decoys such as that board game.

I've seen a few of these shows on netflix, and yeah there's no reason why I would doubt that transaction was facilitated within a DNM. Tons of packs get intercepted and caught every day, but the amount of packages that successfully pass customs compared to the amount that get caught is minimal.

There's a reason you see really the big and conspicuous packages get seized in those shows
