Opiate detox kit

Hey fellow marketers, heavy lurker and occasional poster here with a question for all ya. I recall a vendor (grand wizard I think) used to sell detox kits with a variety of comfort meds to assist in detoxing from opiate dependence. Would anyone know of where I could source such a kit, and also what meds should be attained if I need to assemble my own. Any tips or recommendations are appreciated. This is for a friend. He is currently tapering until the weekend, then by that point I hopefully will have attained a detox kit so he can cold turkey it. Thanks for any assistance folks.

Benzos and gabapentin and loperamide, everything else I think varies from person to person.

Some people like to trip, roll, do coke etc in order to still enjoy life during the acute phase.

I'd avoid gabapentin/Lyrica, even though they are highly recommended. They work terrificly with opiate withdrawals, but they have their own withdrawal(it doesn't happen to everyone, but there are 1000's of people in the "lyrica survivors" facebook group, and I personally know someone who had the same withdrawals with gabapentin).

I took lyrica for 3 weeks when I quit opiates last time. I probably didn't need them the last 1.5 weeks, but I was told they were "not a narcotic" by my doctor. I stopped taking the lyrica almost cold turkey(reduced in half for 2 days), and woke that second day in the worst panic attack of my life(my first as well). The panic attack lasted most of the day until I caved and took the other half of my dose, and felt better within the hour. That attempt at quitting fucked me up for weeks, I was puking, I felt like my whole body was tingling, itching, stabbing ear pain, and a bunch of other horrible symptoms. It's taken me 6 months to taper down to 10mg a day of this stuff, and I still get withdrawals(though mild) in between doses.

This probably won't happen to you, but do you want to risk getting another monkey on your back to replace the one you're dropping? I can honestly say I'd rather go cold-turkey from high-dose fentanyl(again) than go through Lyrica withdrawal again. At least with opiates it's mostly physical, with some depression. Lyrica fucked my whole world up, I had to take months off work. I started having panic attacks as I was falling asleep and I got so afraid of going to bed that I had to fall asleep on the couch with the TV on for months. I didn't leave the house for the first 2 months. I lost 20 pounds in the first month. Again, it's clear that not everyone gets these withdrawals(doctors never know about it), but the thousands of people who have had it aren't making it up. Anyway not meaning to preach, do what you want, I just recommend googling "gabapentin withdrawal" and making your own decision.

Here's my opiate withdrawal recipe: Clonidine .1mg, as needed up to .3mg per day(start with half or even quarter tabs, stuff will make you so sleepy)

Zofran (can't remember dosage) for nausea and vomiting as needed

Cannabis (if you already partake), works better for nausea than the zofran

loperimide (you can try taking massive amounts, but you can become addicted to it too, and who wants such a silly addiction) just take as needed for diarrhea.

Benzo's are also addictive, but as long as you only keep 5-10 days worth around, there's very little chance you'll experience any withdrawal or even rebound anxiety. They don't really help much with the withdrawal for me, unless your plan is to take a ton and sleep through the withdrawal.

Exercise, hot showers, OTC sleep meds, kava kava, soothing TV shows on netflix or Pirate bay.

Remind yourself that everything you're feeling is just withdrawal. You're going to feel depressed at some points, and when people get depressed their mind goes looking for a reason you're depressed. After you've dug through your life for every thing to negative about, now you really have a reason to be depressed. Instead, when you feel the depression creeping in, just remind yourself that it's just a w/d symptom and it will pass, remind yourself it's not real.

I'm amazed that no one is mentioning Ondansetron (brand name Zofran) that stuff is an absolute lifesaver. It kills any nausea at all no matter how bad, and works for a solid 4-5 hours. It was part of the Grand Wizards kit before, although I haven't seen it recently. I swear by it, and it's made things SO MUCH more bearable no matter what situation I've taken it in. They have the tabs that dissolve on your tongue and will start working within 5 minutes, which are amazing when you can't even keep a sip of water down. If you can't find those the other pills are ok, and I've seen a few listings on here and Alphabay.

Gabapentin, a few long acting benzos (Valium is ideal), clonidine, loperamide, seroquel, vitamins/amino acids/fish oil capsules, healthy diet, fluids like pedialyte or Gatorade, days off from work/school, and fucking excericse.

Clonidine is used to ease opiate withdrawals. That was in his detox kit. If you go to a doctor you can directly ask for that, it's not really lethal (at least that Ik of) so if you're just like "yo doc I need some shit to kick my opiate habit" he should give you that. (Edit: I just read that it was for a friend)

Although going to a doc and saying that isn't recommended, I got prescribed clonidine because insomniac.

It's a little holistic but kratom helps with detoxing
