Tracking information says that package has been in "pre-shipment" mode for the past week, it hasn't even been moved into "accepted" yet. The vendor is known for good, honest shipping times and insists that he dropped it in a blue box over a week ago but USPS is just being slow/hasn't picked it up yet/ hasn't scanned it at any of the possible scanning points for the past week. It's hard to believe, but this vendor has a fantastic shipping reputation. What are your thoughts? Is the vendor lying? Or is it possible USPS priority shipping hasn't done anything to the package in over a week now?
It's definitely possible USPS is just taking long. They also take forever to update their tracking. I've had a package that was delivered and the tracking didn't even say it was.
If you're not afraid (security-wise) then you can call them up (have fun with that, google how to get through to human customer service, there's a youtube video) and have them "investigate" the package and get it moving.
