I tried transferring 100 btc last night and today my Agora wallet says I have a balance of 1.2B grains of sand. Bitch ass niggas...
[33 Points] GrandWizardsLair:
The Grand Wizard successfully withdrew a small amount from Agora a little over 18 hours ago. Prior to that there had been some delays with both deposits and withdrawals but nothing so big as this.
GWL Agora is presently in Vacation Mode until this is sorted out. All outstanding orders have been sorted out and old and new customers are welcomed to check out our GWL Evolution shop where we're offering discounts to multisig and FE customers. This could be a technical glitch, an LE takedown, an exit scam or something else entirely. It's still too early to call but the Greatest Mind the Psychedelics World Has Ever Known will be keeping a bloodshot eye on these proceedings as they develop.
(Apologies to the Bot )

Please GrandWizard Use your magic and let this not be a scam.

Someone just made a post in /r/AgMarketplace saying that, according to the mods, it it just extended maintenance, and that everything will be back up soon. I dont know if its legit or just some random guy, but I thought you guys might want to know about it.

Am I the ONLY one who thinks everyone is overreacting?
[8 Points] comeonmannn:
might be nothing but a huge transfer of bitcoins from russia which is where agora is speculated to be run from just happened.
cant post the blockchain, but its over on the agora reddit and it's almost 3000 coins.
[7 Points] Hank_Vendor:
For those who just got here.
Agora is NOT down. It works fine, right as I'm typing this I'm logged in, and the site itself is fully functional.
The wallet system seems to be knackered/being fixed/"we're all gonna die"
You can't deposit or cashout. At least from 8 hours ago I withdrew a small amount (13.00 ish UK time) and still not broadcast.
The trouble you may be having getting in, is likely the mass of people coming to check if their 62c has been stolen.
Anyone who made deposits should check if the coin they sent to their wallet address, is still showin at that address - all good then, maintenance, or in need of maintenance.
or if it has been moved of to another/other wallet(s) - possibly someone has their hand in the cookie jar/we're all gonna die
[5 Points] TheDweadPiwatWobbas:
Here's what I know so far. Starting about 24 hours ago, some people started having trouble making deposits. The real problems started some time last night. I can't find anyone who has successfully made a deposit in the past 10 or so hours. The forum is down. Nobody has heard anything from the mods. And I'm starting to get worried. It is possible that this is just a glitch, and the mods are fixing it right now. It is also possible that the site has been hacked and all the bitcoins stolen (like what happened with SR2 a few months back.) Or worse, the site is in the process of being seized/ taken down. I wouldn't be surprised, considering recent events (SR2 being seized, multiple other sites like the Hidden Wiki disappearing.)
Can anyone recomend another site that is confirmed as working, in case the worst case scenario turns out to be true?

Everyone should just chill the fuck out, earlier this year I remember having some deposits take nearly three days to show up.

I have been on all day. Have not been moving any coin though. Everything else is working fine.

[3 Points] tldr_habit:
I oh-so-luckily had BTC on Agora already and made two orders last night that are already marked shipped. Neither were FE.
I successfully sent BTC to a wallet off Agora yesterday at ~UTC 2:00, balance history shows "sent to network" within an hour.
My last transaction was sending the leftover BTC in my wallet to a vendor for a favor they did me. My balance history shows "withdrawal request has been added" at ~UTC 8:00 as the last transaction. Still hasn't been sent to network. So the problem seems to have showed up between UTC 2:00 and 8:00.
[3 Points] BobsLeftTesticle:
wonder if there btc wallets and forums are hosted on the same server and the site is on a separate server, seems the deposits and withdraws stopped when the forums went down.
[3 Points] None:
Agora has such tight op sec we literally have nothing to talk about.
[0 Points] lrpaterson:
INB4 it was obvious you noobs.
But seriously, something is happening. The forums are down (for sure, as of right now), and some people are having problems withdrawing/depositing (alleged).
See my comment here about why the forums being down probably are not a good indication of if this is an exit scam.
[2 Points] select1on:
I have tried to move some coins just now. Lets see what happens.
Edit: here are the Agora Forums Stats: https://dnstats.net/index.php?id=47 they went offline at 05:27 UTC
[2 Points] None:
I was able to login about 6 hours ago. Wallet was OK.
[2 Points] agorarippedmeoff:
When I login and check my wallet balance history, I can see my withdrawal attempt, but it just has "Withdrawal request has been added"
[2 Points] None:
I tried to withdraw like $50 in bitcoin and nothing is showing up, going on 3 hours, usually only takes 10-15 minutes, maybe a half hour
[2 Points] Cabannis:
For what its worth, I deposited coins to Agora around 11:00 - 11:30 last night, and made a purchase a little after 12:00 AM. I guess I got lucky and was able to make the deposit right before all this shit started happening.. This is pretty fucking crazy. Its one thing for the forums to go down or the deposit/withdraw being fucked up, but not both..
EDIT: On /r/AgMarketplace someone posted a btc address that is transferring a huge amount of btc to a lot of new wallets every ten minutes. I'm not saying its Agora's coins, but it is definitely something to look into.

I think it will become okay with Agora. But it might be a good idea to use multiple platforms. Check out TOM Marketplace. For sellers we copy your listings form Agora (or EVO) for free so ur up and running as quickly as possible.
[2 Points] missingmandy:
I let 200 bucks sit there, kept telling myself to withdraw.
I actually am pretty calm, for all the money I made off DNMs. This is a small donation to the game I guess. Hopefully its just an internal issue they'll figure out.
These guys are reminiscent of backopy, in which they wouldn't just rip us all.

I remember reading that one of the methods to expose the real IP of a hidden service is by DDOS'ing it until it's forced to reconnect to the attacker's nodes.
If Agora is using their own guard nodes for security, that could explain this down time. Although the pink background is still weird as fuck.

[1 Points] theglarbh:
It is likely that the marketplace and the forums are held on different servers, but very possible that both servers have somehow been identified and the current downtime being a result of server imaging by law enforcement.
It's possible that server imaging is occurring as we speak, but this isn't necessarily cause for concern as long as PGP was used and bitcoins were tumbled appropriately. If/when the site comes back up I imagine the admins will have already moved it to a new server.

so i made deposits of half a coin last night to agora and to evo. my evo money was there this morning when i woke up. agora is still a no show. and blockchain says 67 confirmations. this isnt looking to swell.

Anyone who has tried to WITHDRAWAL FUNDS from agora go to Profile > Balance history. See if it just shows the request for the withdraw or do you see the withdraw request and then the withdrawal has been submitted to the network BTC address

The whole reddit community, including Agora Mod's are aware of BTC problems with deposits and withdrawals. This is good general knowledge. Agora has been known to have downtime, and people freak out. Same situation. I'm sure with all the community telling agora about the issue they WILL fix it within a few days. Bottom line don't deposit coins into your agora account until problem is fixed. Site works fine, so I'm sure they will figure out a solution, and probably post it on reddit because forums are down too. But if market needs time to sort out prob, don't deposit, and don't burn your house down and move to Belize(just yet). Agora has been the shit! so far, they are here to provide info to help the market work. Hopefully this gets resolved soon, until then cross your fingers, post if deposits go though!! Stay positive, combine as DNM community to help the situation, don't freak out. Wait it out. Respond when things are good. JAH Bless
[1 Points] keepitcasualbrah:
Figure it doesn't help much but I was able to access the market just fine about 10 minutes ago. I don't have any coins being sent there but I do hope for everyone's sake that the situation isn't as bad as it looks...
Hoping to wake up to good news. Goodnight everyone.

Not that means anything about a potential scam - but this is not the first time, so don't lose your hope just yet :)
First:
February 4, 2014 - Warning: Agora Deposits & Withdrawals not working
Second:
February 16, 2014 - Agora Warning: “Error: Could not withdraw.”
Current:
November 22, 2014 - Warning: Agora Deposits & Withdrawals not working!
Just don't deposit anything and wait, not much else to do anyway...

So Evo went offline for a good while a few days ago, Tuesday I think. Now Agora went down for a period of time? Andromeda was "seized" but I think the consensus was they pulled an exit scam amid the Onymous confusion.
Agora is done quite a bit right? How long was it down for today? Evo was out on the main links but the contingency plan works seemed to work. Too much shit going on. Hopefully its nothing and we are all just on edge right now.

[0 Points] dagwoodfrog:
Sorry is this is a stupid question but why hasn't Agora communicated at all during this? Like, if everything is fine and it is just a server issue or whatever wouldn't they tell us to stop everyone freaking out?
[-1 Points] deftware:
its up now. my theory is that agora admins are SMART and they move shit around regularly, so the usual de-anonymization h4x the LE n00bs use can't keep up.
[-1 Points] sobulbous:
Evo acquired Agora and is pulling an exit scam.
[-1 Points] SatireDNM:
Lets see, withdrawals not working (disabled?) - nothing wrong with deposits. Forums down and Staff MIA & not replying? Looks like we might just have been fucked.

What are the largest dark net markets by numbers?
Is agora one of the largest? Wouldn't that mean the most feds frequent it?!
[-1 Points] bullshitacount:
yea we are all fucked. 124 confirmations on my send. its been 29 hours. its a shame people either take what they got and scram or the leos have to put their tiny dicks in the mix. free country, free internet? whrees anon in all this to supposidly "help the people"? i thought they were legon or some shit lol

Just received this error message when loading up the site:
File not found
Firefox can't find the file at http://agorahooawayyfoe.onion/.
Check the file name for capitalization or other typing errors.
Check to see if the file was moved, renamed or deleted.
If it remains this way and it isn't a server overload causing that, then it's confirmed exit scam, seems that they've literally just deleted all the files from the server.
