Package "in transit, delayed" should I be worried?

Hey everyone I couldn't find much on this, but my package has been marked as in transit, delayed for a week now. 2 days ago it was in transit to destination and I would normally get the package that day. There have not been any updates for 2 days now and no package.

I'm wondering if I should be worried or not. I know the mail can be slow but it's just kind of worrying me.

Sometimes shit happens in a postal distribution plant. When I was a package thrower it was relatively common for coworkers and others to not be able to find the correct bin for a package that corresponds to the last 2-3 digits of the zip code, so they just threw it in a random bin and let the next person down the line sort it out. Happens all the time, and when it gets to the end of that incorrect route it's up to the local post office that receives it to put it back on the correct path. Your pack might end up in an entirely different region of the country if this kind of thing happens.

Just saying, usually with something like a CD, they really try to make things look as normal as possible so as not to rouse suspicions.

Yea I guess I'm just overthinking things, I guess I'll just check to see if the pack is opened or anything when it comes in and I pick it up.

I'm on the same boat right now. I know it's not my vendors fault because HF always delivers. I guess we'll both have to wait and see.
