Bitmixer io (has an onion link to) It's rate is .05% compared to the others 1%-3%. Is there any reason not to use it? It's been around since Jan 2014 and has an active Bitcoin talk thread

Yea I know you can't completely use no script and you have to download the "Letter of Guarantee" , but are these serious threats to mixing?

"Download letter of guarantee"

Yeah no

I use Bitmixer frequently and have never had any problems. The rate is higher than 0.05% if you use multiple destination addresses (you should be using at least three) and randomize the fee for better obscurity.

The "Letter of Guarantee" is just a text file and is only needed if things go wrong.

However, any time you send your Bitcoins to anywhere except your own wallet, you should be emotionally prepared to lose it.

And just FYI, you should either use the Tor HS address or you should access the regular site over TLS and NOT via Tor. A number of the issues people have had with mixers is MitM attacks by exit nodes. This also applies to pretty much any site, but especially Bitcoin-related ones.

The fact that the owner thinks Satoshi is Google is enough for me to not use it. Anyway, why use tumblers? Try /r/joinmarket instead.
