Burnt Address Question

I see these post , were people say your address is burned after receiving a love letter 1. How do we know the address in question is burned? 2. Are there any stories of a so call "burnt address", and then someone orders of DNM? What happened? 3. Is there some Database that tracks these so called"burn address's"? 4. Any other insight would be appreciated! Thanks all

don't get caught up in the story of a love letter,

the idea is that you ordered drugs through the mail and the postal service found it, so they send you a letter saying "hey guy we found a drug package with your name and address on it"

so now it is known by some people that your address was going to receive drugs, and opens up a channel of probable cause on that residence. sure you could probably still order something to that address. but nobody here has the technical/legal knowledge to understand the internal implications of such a situation, so the address is considered "burned"

Even if an address is burnt, you could probably still get away with ordering things like acid since it's essentially just paper. But they will be looking at your mail more closely, you can always open up a PO box under your name, though.

What what info do you guys have to back this claim up? or your just speaking hypothetically?

There was a drugs in mail CD indictment I found from a year or two online on a pharmaceutical IRL dealer in central CAlifornia. The indictment reported that the dealer had received a series of love letters before the CD. But i think it left the question of what effect the letters had in finding the paraphernalia, meaning the q of heightened scrutiny unanswered. Ill try to find it and post it. There was another recent case with a former yeshiva student from CT vending some research chem. They did the CD at his PO box he opened with a fake ID. He had received multiple love letters also. criminal complaints might be worth skimming or rereading.
