Research for Masters Thesis on Cryptomarkets

Hi everyone, not sure if this is the right place to ask but I am masters student in the Netherlands looking for research for my thesis on cypromarkets. My thesis is centered the question of why drug users are turning away from traditional methods of acquiring drugs (ex. street dealing) and turning towards cryptomarkets. As a non-drug user myself I would love to hear your opinion on this. As well, I was hoping to do more of a in-depth qualitative research through interviewing so I'm looking for a few people who would be willing to be interviewed about this topic.

Ease of use, no chance of violent actions during transaction, escrow system, feedback and support systems, QC for some products, access to substances not available in your geographic location, supporting free market ideology.

There are more reasons I use the markets, but these are the biggies that stick out to me.

People only buy from the markets because there are cheaper and/or higher quality drugs than they can get in real life. If someone lives in an area with very high quality, well-priced marijuana, for example, they would not buy it on the markets. I believe any other reason people list for using the markets is just a supporting argument; it's almost purely economic reasons, not philosophical reasons.

Check out this article for a well-structured summary of common reasons: http://www.ijdp.org/article/S0955-3959(16)30132-3/fulltext

While you're at it, take a look at the entire Cryptomarkets special issue of IJDP from last year. Between the studies and their references, you'll find a lot of good starting points for your thesis development (especially the ethics bit...): http://www.ijdp.org/issue/S0955-3959(16)X0012-6
