Writing to Ross.

What pitfalls should be avoided when writing to Ross?

Ross Ulbricht, #18870-111

MCC NEW YORK

Metropolitan Correctional Center

Edit quote from freeross.org.

Write to Ross You can mail Ross a letter, card, photos or reprints of interesting articles. He especially likes to read about economics, politics, science -- but anything you like. You can also send books (directly from a book seller, not from you personally) or magazine subscriptions. The prison does not allow nudity (including art books!). Unless you have something special to send, donating the price of a book to the appeal fund instead would be most helpful now. Thank you!

I wouldn't send a sappy celebrity type letter. I'm sure that Ross knows that a lot of people appreciate what he did and that his sentence is bullshit. A brief mention would probably be okay, but don't dwell on it.

I would make sure it was something interesting if you want him to read it. On the first letter, if it were me, I would barely mention the whole DNM thing. For one, he's still got an appeal and he likely won't talk about it. If it's something that he finds super interesting, like libertarianism, I'm sure he'll respond. Maybe on a second letter you might discuss what he's willing to talk about as far as SR.

Good luck and I hope you hear a response. I think this goes without saying but please share if he does. That is unless it's something that you or he would rather keep private (or at least as private as correspondence with Ross could be).

Just an FYI, there's a new game on FreeRoss.org, the Two Faced Tango. It's another piece of artwork that Ross drew that you can uncover a square for $1. I just drew a nice cock on there with uncovered squares, kind of fun.

I wrote him once just to ask how he's doing.

When I was locked up getting a letter or mail would always make happy . It's the least I could do for all the money I made from the original Silk Road .

Whatever you think about Ross he's the one who made this what it is today and even if you weren't around for sr1 he was the first one with a huge dnm site.

And he's paying the biggest price for it.

Please dont write to ross about the drug marketplace thing, he is probably sick and tired of hearing about it. Talk to him about sports or whatever he likes but doesnt get to engage in anymore.
