Opinions on using Zcash for tumbling

Is Zcash a suitable alternative to monero for mixing/tumbling coins?

I've never used either, but monero seems a lot more cumbersome to use. It's also not available on hardware wallets, so for security purposes I would prefer to use Zcash if It's about as good as monero for privacy.

No zcash is not anonymous, its founder has expressed interest in assisting LEA with anyone it sees fit.

Also the founders tax they gave themselves is comical, bunch of fucking thieves

I do not know specifics, and I’m sure people smarter than me will chime in, but I was told to not use Zcash because it’s not as private or anonymous as we prefer.

It’s an interesting idea to use it to tumble, but if they can see where it started, and where it was sent after the Zcash, then the tumbling did no good.

Again, I am a Zcash idiot and hopefully someone with more knowledge will both flame me for being an idiot and give you the proper answer! I know you feel monero is cumbersome, but it’s totally worth it man.

You can use an offline setup to sign your tx's . Just like a hardware wallet

I'd rather go with Etherium or some other popular alt than Zcash if you can't use XMR.
