Controlled delivery question

For LE to get involved with a package do they HAVE to do a controlled delivery and actually see you take the package? Or can they just decide to raid your house because something was sent to your address? Sent in wrong name 3 mdma pills to my address and it was undeliverable. I realize already that was idiotic but I didn't want MY name attached. Never again. But I need to know what could potentially happen... If they have to see me accept it or if they can just kick in my door? It wasn't bulk order it was user amount....

Should have used a real name. No one is worried about three pills.

LE can do whatever they want..but odds are against anything happening due to what you are describing. Clean house so you have nothing to worry about.

typically, the warrants are conditional in that they are not valid until you make some indication that you are intended recipient , which in most cases means accepting or signing for the package.

also not using your real name is the dumbest thing ever. I am blown away people still think that is a good strategy. at the very least, use a current resident's name...but if I found out someone was doing that to me I'd take their drugs and rabbit punch them while theyre showering.

Well, yes, they can just decide to raid your house because something was sent to your address. You know what else they can do? If they have a search warrant on your neighbor, they can bust your door down "by accident" and then even after they realize they are at the wrong house, they will continue searching since they're already in there. And then they'll find like a half a gram of weed and be like OMG LOOK WE DID A GOOD JOB! WE BUSTED A WEED DEALER! HE HAD SO MUCH WEED HIDDEN IN HIS DESK DRAWER!!!

Also, grow vegetables indoors? You're manufacturing marijuanas. www.policestateusa.com/2014/harte-family-raid/

And don't forget, they always shoot the dog. They're terrified of your pug or your chihuaha.

Be careful. Be intelligent. Don't order from vendors with bad stealth. Don't do anything whatsoever that could cause the package to be returned to sender, because the vendor probably used a fake address, next thing you know the cops have a package with your address on it with drugs in it. That's....very bad.

Honestly, if something did happen, i bet they'd raid the house and arrest you, but just keep denying it and telling them you didnt order it, you dont know wtf is in it. lawyer up and..........you'd probably win.

Fun story regarding returned mail: I ordered an 8 track on ebay once (Black Sabbath). Used the absolute correct address. Mailman marked it as no such address. I found out via tracking that it was being returned to sender and got to the post office in the nick of time to retrieve it. They insisted it had the wrong address on it, that the address on it did not exist.........it was the correct address that all of my mail always gets to. what other mail was wrongly returned to sender when i lived at that house? Who knows. That house was on a long road just past the city limits sign, but still within the city, and the addresses reset outside the city limits to a new set of addresses as "South (Road)". It is a confusing address system, it is strange that the city limits signs are not at the actual city limits, and I think the mailman may have been blind or something. :D

Depends how bored the cops are in your town. I live in a small town that still writes tickets for weed so theyd be pretty stoked to get "3 deadly pills off the street" and then find the culprit who is bringing them in.

Just clean your house and you have literally no issue. Even if they DO come, you won't have anyting to be found.
