[GeneralQuestions] Evo, how to make it right with vendor if money was likely lost in escrow

Looking for some general thoughts on the appropriate etiquette for transactions that were screwed up due to the Evolution exit scam.

Say a person bought some goods from a vendor on Evo. They received the goods right when the whole Evolution market shutdown and weren't able to approve the escrow payment. It's likely that the escrow funds were lost/stolen. Now I'd imagine this person would feel bad for the vendor because they basically took the whole hit.

Would it be fair for the purchaser to reach out to the vendor and offer to split the loss? What is the best way to find said vendor? In a hypothetical case there could be a vendor whose name was something like ttweq.... some of those letters are right, some are not, can't remember?

Basically, assuming the market does not come back what should vendors and/or purchasers be doing to make the shitty situation as fair as possible?

I'd think reaching out to them would be a great gesture and would help build a solid relationship with the vendor. I'm sure most vendors know they have to take losses, it's part of the game. But if you're willing to help them out I don't think they would say no.

Now all the fake vendors are going to contact you for bitcoins.

Just make sure you contact the say vendor with pgp encrypted message. I'm sure you got their key on your gpg software.

itewqq? Same situation, different vendor here. I messaged the vendor on a another market. I asked if I should reimburse them partially because I wanted to continue doing business with them and didn't want any ill will towards me. They were cool and took the loss and were more than happy to continue doing business with me.

Search on grams to find contact info!

Personally, this is what I would do if I received my goods. Some people would disagree but regardless, think most would agree that this is a great gesture if you can spare the coin. I think splitting the loss personally is fair. Just ensure that they are the right vendor though as others have suggested.

If I get my order Id be willing to order again half direct to ship other half once it arrives. That way we don't have to deal with the market. I've been trying this but still haven't found someone with the stuff together to handle off market orders. Not that I don't receive them just allways delays and reships.

I had the same situation occurs. I contacted the vendor and he basically explained that he shipped/lost everything. We worked out a deal that I would pay $100 extra per order of $500+ to compensate until we caught up to the $900 I ordered previously.

I think this is fair and helps the vendor out with his loses.

He also Asked that I fe all orders. I am nervous to fe, at the same time I understand why he no has longer trust in escrow.

My question is should I pay the $100 overage per order and should I fe?

Oh, yea.. that was me. Hey, I am really happy you got the stuff! I would definitely be very happy if you paid me the money though. IM me and you can just send the money to a bitcoin address that I have.

I definitely appreciate the gesture. We are going to do excellent business together going forward!
