Is it possible that a significant portion of the huge underdosing in DNM LSD is caused by the blotters getting too hot or something during transit?
LSD degradation in transit?

I think if that were the case then the test results would show degradation products. Most of the ones I've seen do not.

Temperatures have a very low impact on degradation. Unless you're in the middle east in the heat of the summer, it will have negligible impact.
This myth is spread because of the two top things that cause actual degradation: exposure to UV rays and moisture. It's often credited to heat because it's humid during a warm summer day, but it's the sunlight and moisture, not the heat. It's a given from the shipping that it will not be exposed to UV, and as long as they packed it decently, no amount of humidity should be able to make it in.
PS: Don't be one of those dumbfucks that puts their LSD in the freezer. The amount of condensation in there is far more dangerous than any amount of heat. Put it in foil to protect it from light, then in a bag to keep it as airtight as possible, and put it either in the fridge or somewhere that does not get hit with sunlight.
tldr: No

I don't think there is really enough research to speculate this but I would think so
No.
