I've created this throw-away account because I'm too embarrassed and ashamed to use any other account.
I wanted to write this quick warning to others who attempt to dose alp-powder without a scale, using the "toothpick" method, "fingerdab" method, or similar.
About two years ago, I ordered some alprazolam powder from some vendor on Agora. After receiving, I wanted to test it out, but didn't own a milligram scale at the time. I did some searching, and saw someone recommend the "toothpick" method. I honestly have no idea how much it picked up. I'm sure you can see where this is going.
I got into my SUV and started driving down the road. Only five minutes later, the SUV had skidded across traffic, and flipped four times. Landed on it's side (in the grassy median). The right side of the SUV crushed in. Fire/Rescue had to use the jaws-of-life to get me out. Somehow, I only broke 3 ribs and suffered a concussion. I was the only person injured.
So. Get a scale. Don't drive under the influence.
EDIT:
I'm not blaming the "toothpick" method for my moronic decisions. Just trying to warn others that it's a very poor way to measure out this drug, and could lead to trouble.
As a tip; most scales that are "actually" accurate to 1mg are very expensive, 250+ dollars iirc. You can get a 0.001 jewelry scale to for 50-100 that will be able to measure 10mg and above accurately, good for doses of things like 2C-B/MXE/K/MDMA/etc. but not for Alp, Etiz, DOM, 25i, etc.
But if you just have a graduated cylinder (5 bucks on amazon) and a scale to 0.01 (about 20 bucks) you can measure out 1mg doses accurately using volumetric dosing. There are guides all over the internet for it, including here on reddit.
