Several losses in two days after being out of the loop for a year

I was working with a vendor who was recently doxxed, hoping to get that back as it was a worthwhile amount.

Then I went to use another respected dealer only to be scammed by someones' recommendation of wallets. The wallet worked to accept, change password, receive money but when you go to send money it merely times out. I'm just waiting to log in and it will show 0 BTC.

Very disheartening since the totals I lost nears half of a pay check. I know the original order I had they claim to refund when the dust settles but at this point I doubt I'll ever hear or see any of my money from this week again.

How and why do people do this if at a moments notice, because you weren't reading everything on the web for five seconds, you can lose hundreds of dollars? I don't spend a lot of money but to lose half a pay check to thin air without any recourse and without having officially placed any orders... very frustrating.

If the original guy hadn't of screwed up some how I'd have never had to resort to finding an alternative and not be out anything. But somehow this guy is "doxxed" the day I send BTC. Literally I get home and search for him and the same hour I sent my coins theres a warning that he got doxxed.

Only spend what you can afford to lose

Sucks, especially hard earned money is difficult to lose. Stating the obvious... but... escrow though?

I don't understand how you got scammed with the wallet, did you get phished or something?

What wallet are you talking about?

Yeah... It sounds like your troubles aren't really anyone else's fault but your own. Only use legit escrow if you are especially adverse to risk, and as for the wallet thing... Well, that certainly has nothing to do with the markets.
