Just curious to know if a vendor is found out and law enforcement seize all their items what happens to any information the vendor has on his customers? If, for example, the vendor has labels printed with his customers name and address and LE find these labels, do they then chase up these customers? The same thing with emails containing sensitive information on customers? Would appreciate any insight into this. Thanks.
While I agree that it's usually the case that LE won't go after small fish and are interested in bigger things it's not always the case. LE cares about statistics not just big cases and since when have any authorities been known for ethically appropriating resources and money correctly?
It's not exactly LE or dnm related but here's a story from westminster in london. There was a barber shop in mayfair who became friends with a local who was only in town for 1-3 months a year and this person let the barber use his westminster parking permit and register his car to that address. Westminster council then spent £500 million on tracking him down and proving he lived elsewhere using council cctv to follow him on his 18 mile drive to and from work every day for 4-6 months. They brought him to court and thankfully the judge threw the case out citing a waste of taxpayer £££ and saying this is not what CCTV is allowed to be used for.
The moral of that story is authorities no matter who don't care about the miss allocation of resources and often spend fuck loads on pointless matters
