A question on 'safe addresses'

Hey everyone!

Long time lurker, first time poster here....I'm very paranoid of the whole DNM thing, but also intrigued to say the least. I may be ready to give it a shot.

I was thinking, for my address....I notice that I receive mail in a previous tenants name sometimes...how risky would this be as a tactic to receive? I'm guessing this is a somewhat common scenario and is probably a decent one, but let me know what you guys think...

Any/all input is appreciated ! :)

Order legit packages to the name/address combo you plan on using. Remember that amazon ships via ups so is not good for priming an address.

i know travelers that send there personal drugs around the usa to there hotels and friends homes... past names sounds like a good way to get a non deliverable slip ... Be very careful as using a name that isnt yours opens you to a slue of new charges on top of the drugs. one dude had a warrant granted in the east coast because he sent a box to his home with a fake name... the legal president was that the name wasn't a real person at that address and so the box had no rights , allowed to open. If your scared about sending drugs to your home please look into PO boxes , Mailing centers If its a name issue just create a generic company name at your location and get junk mail in that name daily... you might lose the Refund or REship as your not giving the vendor a name...

Go to day labor places. Find someone with two forms or ID. Pay them 50$ to open a box at private mail store, the bigger the better. Then he gives you the key and goes away

Then sign up for magazines, and junk mail in his name. Pickup your mail after hours. Get some traffic moving through the box under that name.

Then place your order using that name. When it shows delivered let it sit for a week or so. Then pick up after hours. Park out of site of cameras and were a hat to obscure your face.

It's hard to find a consensus on this. Having it shipped to your name specifically grants you exclusive rights to open that mail, barring a search warrant. However, should the contents be illegal, it does not directly incriminate you. Whether it's enough to get a search warrant signed by a federal judge to open that letter though is debatable.

An illicit package shipped to you is not enough to get a judge to sign off on a search warrant though, and LE has to have that warrant or you'll beat any would-be charges. So if they want to nab you, they have to "construct possession" on you, meaning they have to show that you are knowingly in possession of an illegal substance and/or that you were aware of this package before it arrived.

What does this mean? For one – never sign for a package no matter what. And never accept a package if it's expressly given to you, particularly if it's by an individual you've never seen before in your life who claims to be a neighbor & your packaged must've been delivered to the wrong address. LE like to take comely "plainclothes" police officers – many of them women – and attempt a "controlled delivery", or CD in Pig Parlance. This is where it gets tricky… If this happens, play dumb. Act like you have no idea where it came from and state you were not expecting anything. Immediately write "WRONG ADDRESS" on the outside as you politely ask this mysterious stranger to kick bricks off your property. Keep the package by the front door for at least a week in an effort to preserve plausible deniability. Do NOT open it, and clean house as surreptitiously as possible.

Btw, this is most likely never going to happen to you if you are careful, always treat communication with respect, don't do stupid shit like place orders while fucked up, and don't do other things that lead to increased human error. Further, assuming your vendor follows standard OPSEC, you have no way of identifying them and LE knows this, so you'd most likely be a really expensive bust in terms of budget investment, with no real return on that investment of time, resources, and money as you most likely wouldn't lead to any additional convictions. No federal prosecutor would give a shit except for in really rare cases or an instance where they mistakenly believe you'll bring them tons more convictions.

It funny – I have a feeling the uber-paranoid ones are all buying the smallest amounts of the most innocuous stuff, and meanwhile reckless assholes are seemingly ordering metric ass tons of white powders and pills via mobile clearnet connections made from their own personal WiFi networks, ISP accounts, and/or cellular accounts, like it's no riskier than jay-walking…

In my experience, trying to complicate things creates more problems than it solves.

If you use PGP, select a good vendor, and take all necessary precautions, there is no reason you can't get a package sent to your house with your name on it. Remember that the best way to ensure you get your packages safely is to make it seem like it's an ordinary package. Things like fake names, previous tenants, or having packages delivered to an abandoned location are all things that will draw the attention of your mailman. I understand your apprehension, but speaking as someone who has dozens of packages of all shapes, sizes, and substances delivered to their house, I can tell you that simplicity is the best strategy.

I wouldn't risk shipping it in an old tenants name. Is it just junk mail you receive for him? If that's the case than the rest of his mail is being forwarded somewhere else so you wouldn't get your package. I recommend a PO box or your house. As for Amazon not delivering to PO boxes, that's true in most cases if it's being shipped ups but you can find plenty of 3rd party sellers who use usps to order some legitimate mail to your po box.
