I just wanted to make sure everyone saw EC's response on this thread all the way at the bottom:
http://www.reddit.com/r/DarkNetMarkets/comments/49ksb4/theres_something_odd_going_on_with_the_meth/
This is what they said:
"Hi everyone!
First of all, thank you very much for your observations and comments, we are always learning and trying to improve our service, and we really value the community being part of our project, it helps us a lot. And thank you also for emailing us directly to ask, or else we would have missed this conversation.
Those results did look a bit odd to us also, so we've been doing some research and triple checking everything. And we found the problem: our methamphetamine reference standard had evaporated a bit and was too concentrated. A tech must have not closed it correctly one day, and that compromised further results. A human error for which we are really sorry.
We have fixed this already, reviewed everything carefully, and now it all works fine. So we are repeating all the tests on meth samples sent in the last weeks, and will email the results to each user.
We apologise for any trouble and as always we are open to any comments, suggestions, petitions, etc. Please email us at international@energycontrol.org, we'd be happy to help with what we can!"
This is great news, and I hope it puts some minds at ease. We are all human and we all make mistakes. Standing up, admitting it, and fixing the issue is what makes people great. Thanks to the community for staying on this. We depend on you guys to help with this sort of thing. You are the most important part of our checks and balances system. Thanks to EC for doing the right thing here!
Oooh good lookin out by EC but yeah watch how many naysayers this brings and naturally low scoring vendors crying foul of all results here on out.
Give em an inch n they'll try to take a mile.
