On 6 Feb the Dutch police busted a Dutch resident living on a small border town and are accusing him of being a Darknet vendor. Seems like he wasn't just a small fish because they seized quite a large sum in cash and Bitcoin and several of his private assets. Considering the German police is also involved it is very possible that he was a German vendor. There is no physical border in that town, you can just walk a couple of blocks and throw something in the German mailbox:

On 9 March the police raided a large weed grow operation and busted several people. Through their investigation they also found out that one of the suspects in custody had exchanged around 440k EUR of BTC into cash. The money was split between two people. Both of them are being investigated for being Darknet vendors now.
Does this ring any bells? Any vendors from NL that have been dissapearing? I wonder which vendor is so stupid to exchange close to a half million of BTC into cash and leave behind obvious traces.
I fucked up in the title. It should be:
But Bailey distracted me, please excuse me.
It seems like this sub lacks Dutch people, since there have been a lot of Dutch busts in 2014 which never where reported in this sub. It is no reason to worry though, 9 out of 10 busts in NL come from vendors fucking up something besides vending and draw police attention to their vending. It also doesn't help that the Dutch police seems to be the most educated when it comes to Bitcoin. I have seen plenty of police seminars being held on Cryptocurrency in the last 2 years.
